I purchased on 07/23, It’s now 09/21 and it works great;
Not as fast as I would like but it is what I expected and overall I’m Very Happy with my YSSOA Portable Ice Maker for Countertop, 9 Ice Cubes Ready in 6 Mins, 26lbs Ice/24Hrs. I would buy it again.

I was hesitant to buy an ice maker and I’m just so glad it was this one! I don’t even be doing these reviews on products on here unless I’m telling someone not to buy it lol. But run and buy this seriously!! Probably my most favorite purchase so far! And it was for my husband, for his birthday! He’s gonna love it! And it’s already almost full with ice!!

Very convenient!
My fridge’s ice maker was broker and I heard it from the fridge technician about portable ice makers. This product is great, makes ice extremely fast. What I like is that you get to use your own filtered water to make ice. Makes a full bucket of ice in about half a day. It is quiet and very easy to clean. I simply save the ice cubes in a ziplock bag and put it in the freezer for future use.

Very Pleased.
Works great. I like the fact that it is relatively small. We use this in our 5th wheel camper and it is a great addition. Makes ice very quick and has some good features. Easy to use, just pour in water, plug in and hit start. Has a flashing red light if more water is needed.

Good for personal use.
This “bullet” type ice melts too quickly in room temperature water. You will need to use at least half of the basket for a cold drink. Using the whole basket would be ideal. If you can wait another hour or so for the next batch, then this machine will suit you. It’s better than no ice at all.(I’m basing this assessment upon using 12oz of room temperature water with drink mix.)

Works great, very happy, but instruction manual doesn’t answer our questions….
This ice maker works great. Very quiet, doesn’t vibrate, doesn’t move across the counter (rubber feet on the bottom). We wish that the machine would BEEP when the basket inside is full of cubes, and you need to empty it. The FULL light turns RED and lets you know you need to empty it, but I feel like we have to keep babysitting the machine and sticking around the kitchen to check for that RED light. If it beeped like a coffeemaker, it would be great. The manual (several pages; actually a “leaflet”), answers the general questions, but not all questions you could possibly have. There is no company phone # on the leaflet either, so who would you call? I’m assuming that this is why others have bought the name brand ice makers (Frigidaire, for example), since you can actually call them with questions about any of their products. This is not a machine that you can just “set and go”, where you can set it up for cubes and leave to work, for example. This is not a crockpot. The machine makes 9 ice cubes each cycle, and I believe there are 4 cycles to a “full basket of cubes” = 36 cubes. The cubes are cylinder-shaped, not square or round. Once the 36 cubes are in the basket, the red light says “full”, and you empty the basket. At that point, you can either go for more cubes, or turn off the machine. Our question was: if you’re not around to empty that basket right away, how long does it take until all the cubes have melted? This is why we’re saying, this isn’t a machine to be left alone. You gotta hang around, in other words.

Great camping add-on…
We do a lot of camping. On some of our trips we use a vintage trailer and camp with friends. When we all get together for a drink or two, we need ice. This is the absolute perfect ice maker for our needs as we can plug it into the shore power or, better yet, plug into a power station and it will run for the week end providing all of the ice we need. It pumps out ice at a pace of about 6 minutes each time. Now THAT is fast!!!We are very pleased with this one.

Makes cute little ice cubes. You do need to get them into your freezer after a bit because they will melt. This isn’t a large capacity machine and you have to keep filling it with water to make more ice. It’s a solid little producer.

Well-Designed and Efficient
This compact little ice machine was a huge help when my fridge’s own maker gave up the frosty ghost in the middle of a heatwave. The cubes it produces are cone-shaped – as well as smaller and more hollow than conventional cubes – but they are substantial enough to last for cooling beverages or packing a mini cooler. It is truly portable, with a solid handle and easy-to-pack rectangle footprint. Although it’s not silent, the noise factor is not too much of an issue at all (it’s more of a noticeable hum). When compared to other models on Amazon that look identical, this one is a bargain – and a purchase I would definitely make again.

Ice, ice, ice at last
I love my little ice machine. We just moved into our new house. While looking at the before buying it, I saw an extra large refrigerator and fell in love. I never looked to see if it had a freezer. It didn’t. I could go down to the garage to make ice in trays. But no. I love iced tea year round so ice is necessary. I love this little guy. It continues to make ice until the basket is full. If the ice melt, it just makes more.I highly recommend this ice maker 🙂

Sturdy , price effective ice machine. Only negative is when you first start it up is it definitely takes longer than the 5-6 minute it says. Now once it’s been making ice for awhile as long as you don’t turn it off and keep dumping it you are good.

Convenience
I LOVE this ice maker! It’s sooo easy to use! I use ice all day long and I don’t have an ice maker in my frig. It doesn’t take up a lot of room and , as advertised, has ice ready in minutes. I’m going to take it with me to my sister’s for a big family event. We will never run out of ice. Perfect!

Great Ice Maker
First and foremost, I love that it’s pretty much portable. This thing makes ice bullets and it’s pretty quiet, except for when the ice drops into the basket. You can hear it across the kitchen but if that doesn’t matter to you, and you want to get ice in between refilling your drinks, this one is pretty speedy. Definitely a recommend.

Basic ice maker
Instructions received with my order didn’t indicate two results of tap vs hold for the on/off button. It drove me nuts until I watched some of the promotional videos & figured out on/off is tapped for start function and held 5 seconds for self-clean. Once figured out the ice maker performed as advertised. 😁

Worked well for about a week then started having problems
I received the ice maker and was initially very happy with it but in about a week or so started having problems with it. The machine was functioning in all respects except that the water tray mechanism went out of sync with the rest of the cycle and would be in the wrong position when the pump was trying to fill it with water. I was considering sending it back but then it started working again so I held off. Now it is past the return window and it continues to work on sort of a hit and miss basis which is less than ideal.

This isn’t as good as the little dots of ice but I’ll be damned this is a close 2nd. It makes ice fast and easy to use. If anyone doesn’t have a ice maker at home, def buy this 👌Not recommended for anything commercial though.

I love it
My in-laws have a Quetion property. They would not let me install an icemaker in their freezer because I didn’t want to take up the room. This icemaker is great. I have it I little shelf out in the garage I go out plug it in dump water in it and I have enough ice cubes to make a mixed drink in less than 10 minutes.

Fabulous!
For some reason, our refrigerator really does not make a lot of ice. Essentially, after about four glasses, we are out of ice. Super irritating when we have family or a party. I bought this to plug-in temporarily to make more ice for those occasions, and it works like a charm. Great product.

Not worth it
After almost waiting 2 months because my shipment got lost and damaged due to more packaging, I’m not very satisfied. Takes over an hour for a full basket and then the ice melts extremely quickly. Ice basket is very small.

Great for apartments that don’t have a fridge with ice maker
Now apart of our routine in the morning to make ice for the day. We don’t keep it stored in the machine itself, we put in a container in our freezer but if you wanted to you could keep in the actual machine at least for a couple of hours before it melt. Easy to use, quiet, and makes about 4 cups of ice in about 15-30 minutes.
