Surprised by its quality
At first I was a bit skeptical of its quality as it doesn’t have many reviews, however; its low price is what got me to give it a chance. I thought that there would be a lot of plastic, but it seems almost all of it is made out of aluminum, however the leg’s clasps are made of a strong plastic. It isn’t the lightest, but I only had my cheap low quality tripod to compare to. So far, the ball head and legs seems to lock well. (Comes with an extra mounting plate, which was a pleasant surprise). It comes with all of the features that I was looking for in a tripod (bag hook, monopod conversion, ball head) and a travel bag! Considering it is about half the price of the more popular tripods on Amazon, I would recommend.

Solid tripod for the price. Would buy again.
I’ve owned a few cheap tripods before. Just the cheap plastic ones. Bought this tripod based on the reviews but was still pretty skeptical. But for the price, even if it lasts a year or two, figured I’d be content. I’ll update if anything breaks.First impression: Very happy I gave this one a try. All of the textured pieces that look like they would be plastic are metal. Ball head, twisting locks, legs, all metal. The only real plastic pieces are the locks on the legs. It has a nice weight to it and feels a lot sturdier than the $15-$20 plastic tripods. For the price, I am happy with the build and how sturdy it feels but wont feel too bad about putting it through its paces.

Simply Outstanding!
I have owned this tripod for a week now and have been extremely pleased with the performance and flexibility that this tripod offers. I have been amazed at what I can do with this tripod to catch the shots that I have been after. I am seriously going to buy a second tripod, one to keep in the car and one for home use. I missed a perfect shot last night because my tripod was at home.Do not hesitate in buying this tripod, you will not be disappointed.Update: Ordred second tripod and it arrived today, 8-4-2019. Same great quality but this one was missing the extra quick release attachment that came with the first one. No big deal but it’s nice for those with more then one camera.

Decent for the price, but it’s not a quick release
The adaptor plate on top requires quite a bit of fiddling to get on an off the tripod. It’s obviously better than spinning an entire camera onto a bolt, but there are much better adaptor mounts on comparable tripods out there.

Just buy it!
I’m 5’9 and its taller than me! Love it! Its sturdy and has smooth paneling! Overall it’s lightweight however with other camera gear can become heavy. Holds the Sony and Nikon5600 perfectly!

Nice tripod at a great price
I borrowed a much more expensive tripod until this one came in. Visually the two have similar look and feel. I’m not in a position to judge durability, but this tripod is completely adequate for my light duty needs.

Best Photo Value Ever?
I paid $40 for this and I think it is one of the best deals ever. Very sturdy in all respects. Excellent quality ball head. Collapses into a very small package. Handles my Canon with a 70-200 f/2.8 no problem. Can get very low to the ground. And can be disassembled for use as a monopod or walking stick!! Unless you have a peculiar need in a tripod, I guarantee you will be satisfied.Frankly, at this price point, I can’t imagine the manufacturer is making any money

Not worth it!
It does not stay in position. The poles slide although theyre tightened all the way. I’m returning mine and getting something that actually works. I’d give it zero stars if that were an option

Great tripod for the money! Very high quality!
I have to say, I didn’t expect much from this tripod. But upon opening it and using it, I was pleasantly surprised. It made from a very sturdy material, and is still lightweight. It is also a great value as it has the ball head and can be used as a monopod. Would highly recommend!

Works for me…
Excellent price to value ratio. The maximum height alone delivers. For me, it’s senseless to have a light weight sturdy tripod that falls short when fully extended. This one along with it’s integrated monopod covers the distance. Highly recommend.

Works well
Did exactly as advertised, it is lightweight but sturdy. I ordered this to hold a 4″x5″ view camera my students built for a special project and it is holding up even with unsupervised student use.

Great for Beginner or Casual Photographer
This tripod is great for a beginner on a budget or the casual photographer. The tripod is sturdy, made of mostly metal components, and has many of the features of a higher end tripod. Weight is not an issue and it’s compact size makes it easy to carry around. I keep mine in the tripod holder on the side of my backpack, in the provided case, and it fits nicely, it’s inconspicuous, and it doesn’t get in the way.Extended fully, the tripod lacks the rigidity to stand up to slight wind, impacting image quality. Extending only half of the top section resolves this issue. The ball head is solid and holds my 70-400mm (a heavy lens) nicely. There are a couple of set screws on the ball head which allow slight movements and locking it in. The rotation is fairly smooth, but not enough for video pans. The flexibility of the tripod height is great. You can use this thing with the camera on the ground, by flipping the upper section, or all the way to a comfortable height for a 6′ person. It is easy to adjust the height with the flip lock tabs and is quick to setup.Overall, I would say this tripod is a great buy. While the premium features aren’t on par with other high end tripods, they are much better that you can get for the same price, or even those priced at moderately higher prices. The flexibility of this tripod would cover the the use of most camera users and at a great price. It has allowed me to capture some great/crisp landscape shots, portraits (indoor and out), and festive deco shots.

Excellent tripod!!
I actually tried several tripods that I was NOT happy with, and returned, en route to finding this gem.So for anyone else comparing to comparably priced/sized tripods, I ordered and tested the Mactrem 80, Joilcan 82, and the ESDDI as well. The Joilcan was eliminated because the “normal” stance of the tripod was too narrow, and therefore tippy (and the wider stance, on all, too wide I think for my average use). The Mactrem was a disappointment because it said it was rated for 16 kilos / 35 pounds but it turned out in the fine print, it was actually just 16 pounds, not kilos. And it showed. It wouldn’t hold up my Nikon D750 and VR 70-200 2.8 (maybe 12 pounds, total) without the ball head slipping, which is unacceptable for me. The ESDDI I tried 3rd, and it was mostly OK, but SIGNIFICANTLY larger and heavier than the others (which were all larger and heavier than what I had been using for years) and it still was a little slippy.Starting to think I simply wasn’t going to find a “flawless” tripod in a reasonable price range, I stumbled upon this YoTilon, and having tried the other 3 first, it made it that much more obvious that this is a great product! Compact and light enough for travel, the plate fit super securely on my camera or lens mount (zero slippage, a problem with a couple of the others as well) and the ball head locked into place perfectly, no give whatsoever. The tripod iss steady on its feet, feels sturdy all around, despite being relatively more compact and lighter. Attention to detail seems excellent. I was so happy to take a chance on this YoTilon before totally giving up, as it really ended up being perfect for me.To top it all off, I had noticed that one of the 3 I had ordered before came with an extra mounting plate, and another had offered one, and I can’t recall if YoTillon had as well (maybe in the questions somewhere?), but I contacted the company through Amazon and they replied and sent me the extra plate very quickly for free. This is super helpful, as I can leave one permanently on my camera body, and another on my 70-200 2.8 lens (long and heavy enough that it needs to be mounted separately, for balance) and don’t have to mess around with constantly swapping it back and forth depending on which lens I’m using.I highly recommend giving the YoTilon tripod a chance, especially if you are comparing it to the Mactrem, Joilcan, or ESDDI.Hope this was helpful!

Buy the Tripod, enjoy the instruction manual
Good solid tripod that’s taller than me, and I’m 6’9. Can’t give 5 stars because the description says there are three adjustment knobs to fine tune positioning, and they go so far as to brag that there’s 3 knobs and not 2, like the competition. There’s 2. Learn your product. Now for the best part, the instructions. This product is worth every penny for the 8 rules of tripod use. I’ll leave it at that. Enjoy.

BEST BANG FOR YOUR MONEY PERIOD!
This tripod is freakin AMAZING! You would think it costs over 150.00 by the quality and sturdiness. It really is amazing. I use it for both my automotive YouTube channel and also for my Home theater installation side business with my self leveling laser level and this unit is super sturdy even on creaky wood floors when you’re walking around it tends to stay really stable. For what you’re going to pay for this unit, it’s DEFINITELY the best one at this price point. I tried 3 others and returned them all. Came across this one, it had glowing reviews, and I pulled the trigger. Don’t regret it one bit.The unit comes with a nice carrying case and folds up rather easily for storage or on the go. Look no further, this is the one.P.S. it’s also SUPER tall.

Great product!!!
Just wish it was a little bit lighter. Using it on an elk hunt so lighter is better. Other than that great tripod. Price was amazing and sturdiness is nice. Very smooth and easy to operate. Can’t wait to use in the field. Going to use this tripod with a set of binos.

Easy to use, good value for the money.
I like this tripod for ease of setup and packing and travel. I sometimes take photos with non-photographers and ease of setup is a must when patience are thin. I’ve been using a gimbal head for years and do a lot of night shots.I will probably not use the monopod removable leg since I have a dedicated monopod with the same quick release plate assembly.Just a note on the monopod screw attachment, it’s a 3/8″ screw that is also used to connect the leg to the tripod. So you will need an adapter (3/8″ to 1/4″) if you are planning to attach a camera or quick plate assembly to the monopod.

Very High Quality for Fraction of the Cost
I’ve gone to brick and mortar stores for years, going through 4 or 5 $20-30 tripods thinking that quality ones were only in the $3-400 range.THIS TRIPOD MAKES ME LOOK STUPID FOR THINKING THATMost other tripods at this price point use plastic ball joints and aim for lightweight instead of sturdy. This one takes no shortcuts in aiming to be as sturdy as possible, including a built in weight hook. This does mean that it sacrifices a little bit in weight, but as long as you aren’t hiking 10-20 miles with a full kit and camping gear, you will not mind the increase in weight, especially with the peace of mind that your camera will be safe. The head that came with this tripod is meh, but it is completely replaceable with multiple screw types to allow you to even just ditch the head entirely if you felt like it, or in my use case, attaching a gimbal directly to the base.

SATISFIED
Alright guys,I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving this in the mail. Comes with a very nice ball head surprisingly. Which is also a fluid head as far as the pan axis, suuuuuper smooth pans with this guy too. Totally surprised at how much I like using this tripod. 4/5 cuz the legs could definitely be more stout and the locks on the legs are the worst part of this tripod, cheap plastic feeling and the feet are nothing to write home about either. Yet I still would buy this guy again. Just saying

Pretty Legit tripod for my type of use. Instructions are Vague!
I bought this tripod to replace a Silk 330 Tripod that gave up the ghost. For my budget I did lots of reviews. And since this one featured a monopod I thought it was ideal! It really was, It is sturdy for its size (Use of the sandbag weight is highly recommended). Lightweight and the ball head handles my DSLR with heavy Lenses (70-200mm) no problem. The only issue I had was the Instructions. They had little or no information on the Conversion to monopod, where i spent an amount of time screwing and unscrewing the tripod. Eventually I got it But they need more precise instructions on how to use all the awesome features.

Fell apart within a month of use
I was photographing a client’s home using this tripod full extended and it completely fell apart in my hands and almost dropped my SLR camera on the ground. I wish that had happened within the return policy window but of course it happened a few days after the window closed. I wouldn’t trust this item with your expensive camera equipment. I’ll be ponying up more $ to buy one of more quality. This one is now trash as I cannot get it put back together and even if I did I wouldn’t be able to trust it.

Only two knobs, but nice quality feeling for such a cheap tripod
Well, the pics of the tripod says it all. There are only two knobs on the ball head, and not three as the text says. I guess they only updated the pics and not the description when the maker made the change. Apart from that I must say the tripod feels tight and has a nice quality feel to it so far.

Great value tripod for my applications
I do lots of camera trapping of mountain lions in Southern California. I need a lot of flexibility with how and where I mount my cameras, so I tend to buy small, inexpensive tripods for the purpose. This tripod is probably the best value for money I have seen so far. It is a little heavy for its size, but it comes with a nice bag, mounting plate, and the ballhead is astonishingly strong for its size. The leg latches operate quickly and smoothly. Yep, very happy with this.

Monopod is part of tripod, not a separate item.
I like this product a lot. It’s obviously of great quality and will last for years. I’m taking 1 star off because when I was buying it, I was led to believe there would be a separate monopod included as well. It’s not the case. The monopod is actually one of 3 legs of the tripod.

I’m no pro, but it feels good to me…
This is the first real tripod I’ve purchased, and I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this one, but it is really way better than I expected for the price! It feels very stable, sets up and tears down easily, and has some cool features other tripods in the same price point didn’t have. I’m no pro, and maybe that’s why I like this tripod so much, but all I know is that it works and feels solid.

Holds up pretty well
Bought this so I could keep a (slightly heavier) projector stable, while also needing something light that had a small footprint, and it works great! The ball head makes it easy to adjust for any misaligned floors so that the picture remains level, and it also has two locking knobs for extra security. Doesn’t seem to droop/drift/sag over time. Very happy with the results.
