Great player for the price
Product manual hard to follow & correlate skimpy& poorly worded info to player. There are buttons on left & right side of player’s top that are not explained! Manual should be much, much more thorough!! Also, the blue light used to relay remote’s commands to the player should not be concealed. Lastly, picture colors, clarity, etc.. much improved when player is connected to a tv. Furthermore, though it is very attractive player, why does the cover creak every time it’s lifted straight up? Guess I’ll have to lubricate the hinge!

NOT DURABLE
I had this for just over a year. It stopped reading some DVDs about a month ago. Either the DVD keeps spinning with no picture, or it says “No Disk” on the screen without it spinning to read it at all. Other times the picture skips, pixelates and glitches, with a brand new DVD in it. I’ve returned several DVDs I bought before I realized they were not defective — this player just isn’t reading them. They work fine on other players. It’s very unfortunate, because the picture quality was decent. Not durable.

Spend More $ for a better unit
I wanted a DVD player to watch some regular DVDs (not Blu-ray) that I had since my laptop no longer excepts DVDs. The first order came without a remote control. I sent it back and waited close to 8-weeks for the replacement which has a remote control. I’ve got new batteries in it and it does not work. I charged it for 6-hours as suggested. put my DVD in. all in all it took me about 3-hours to finally get the DVD to play. None of the buttons on the player itself seem to work. I turned the off button off and then back on, and then my DVD started playing. the remote control is useless. The buttons on the DVD player are useless except volume. Spend more money for a better unit.

Not Happy
I bought this so I could watch DVD ‘s and listen to cd’s when the power goes out but this unit does not work without the use of the electric adapter. Not sure why it won’t charge but it’s worthless to me as is.

Its ok
I love that its lightweight, and the picture is ok. Dislike that you cant see real well if your at the side of screen. I also dont like there is no play button takes some time to figure out the buttons. For the size I figured the sound would go higher than it does. It was alot bigger that I hid thought wish I would have went a little smaller now.

Difficult to navigate
I usually like to watch my dad’s from beginning. This DVD player starts in random places. Not fun when you are watching a series and it starts at episode 2. Plus audio has a constant noise.

Screen size is perfection!
What an awesome surprise this purchase turned out to be!!! I had a whole stack of DVDs to work through and the new laptops don’t have DVD players anymore, so I turned to Amazon! It took a while to make the decision on which one to purchase but with this particular one being so versatile and so absolutely easy to use, it was a no-brainer! The screen size was bigger than I thought – which was magic because you miss stuff on the smaller screens! I am very very happy with this purchase! Amazon – is amazing!

Nice machine but battery life is only 3 hours not 8 as advertised.
I make a lot of home movies and bought this DVD player to review the videos I have made. A few homemade videos I have burned tend to hang up and stall. Absolutly no problem with pre-recorded movies. Battery life is about 3 hours, not 8 as advertised.

I really like the portable dvd player. I have a hearing problem, and the volume is great! I don’t have to turn the volume all the way up to hear my dvds or cds. Picture quality is great too Price is reasonable for the size of the screen

Love it and hate it. I thought i could stream movies and games from my android phone to this machine, no such luck. Also after a couple uses i could no longer connect this to my tv either, which did work at first. The ports are cheap and very weak. I should have returned it when i had the chance

Great picture and amazing battery life!
I really love it. Unplugged for a month and when the power went out it still had a full charge, so I caught up on some movies. Really easy to use and a really nice picture as well. I’m pleased with my purchase.

Cheap and basic
Definitely glad I got this on a sale, I believe. It’s been a while. I wish I’d gone with something else. I love that the screen size is so big, but you can definitely tell the best wasn’t put into this. My son has trouble with the discs pausing or skipping or something. Issues with the disc playing, for sure, but he tends to work it out and is able to finish watching them. I use this for long road trips. I’d definitely spend some more money on a better quality product. I knew I was taking a gamble with a less known brand to me.

Poor Quality
The screen is large and is too heavy for the base so when it sits on a surface the entire thing tilts backwards. Even if you turn the screen. Poor color with picture. It appears too light & clarity poor. Don’t waste your money. I’d return this item if I could. Not worth the $

Not the screen size I paid for

DVD Weak not resistant
I purchased this DVD for my daughter’s homeschool in September of this year. In other words, just 3 months ago, I invested almost 90 dollars for this DVD. Yesterday we took the DVD with its car charger and just having transported it without having had any blows, other than transporting it by car, its screen was scratched and now a third of the screen does not appear with an image. This screen is very weak because as it could have been damaged without having had any blows. It is not fair that without having had any blow this DVD, now it is scratched and the image cannot be seen on a third of the screen. This is a fraud

Only reason it isn’t getting 5 starts is because the remote it came with does not work and when I reached out I never heard anything back from them in regards of how to fix and or replace it. Other than that it’s great super loud to insure kids can hear it and the battery life last for a very long time went on a 6 hour car drive and it lasted the whole time

Confused
I can’t quite figure things out. I push a button and nothing happens. The unit does work, but it takes a lot of random and repeated button pushing before it decides to do so. Defective unit?

Good quality, includes a 12 month warranty
I bought this for the wife, red of course. She set the DVD player up and charged it for 7 hours before use. The player runs great and she likes it! She had a head phone set that fit this player and works. This DVD player does not include a head phone or carrying case. There is a card board case this player came in that will do for now, we may buy a more suitable case later. This DVD player includes a 12 month warranty included.

Nice screen size and affordable.
I am a Gospel Illusionist and am constantly learning new tricks. This player works great and affordable. The screen is big enough that I can watch a learning dvd and practice a trick at the same time cause I don’t have to be right up at screen to see it. The picture is very clear as well and player is very light. I highly recommend this player. There is no stop button but you can just press about button and dvd stops so you can remove without scratching it.

Battery life and cooling system
I do like this dvd player. However the battery life is only 1hr55min not the 6hrs promoted. And I think a on and off switch with a cooling fan would be beneficial to keeping the player working better. But it needs a better battery.

No progress bar
We use this DVD player for the Abeka video program abd they are good but the only issue is that there’s no progress bar to see how far we’re into the lesson. Minus one star for that. Battery life is great.

Good value for the price
No instructions! Come on that’s extremely irritating. Now we have to waste time punching buttons and going back and forth to figure out the keyboard. Boo for that irritant. The video player is large screened which makes it nice for seeing the DVDs we play. Ours is a beautiful light blue casing. Exactly what we ordered and wanted. Now we can play our 250+ DVDs. Works in the car with the adapter. They should include actual instructions.

Missing manual
The player came without a manual, and there is no info or address for the manufacturer. I eventually figured out the basic operation but the many additional “settings” buttons are still a mystery to me

worked for the first 3 movies
Total waste of money. Piece of junk. It worked well for 3 whole DVD’s. Since then I have had to open and shut the lid several times for it to not say “No Disc” every time I use it. Sometimes I can’t get it to read a new disc after dozens of attempts, but it will read the same disc the next day after a handful of attempts. AND on top of that, now it will only play for about 20 minutes before skipping and just stopping (again with a new or unscratched DVD). It’s going straight to the recycling center the next time I go. Very frustrating.

Paused/still frame
The dvd player seemed simple to use, but the player would make the screen pause and nothing worked except turning it off, waiting, and turning it on again. It did this with all the DVDs we tried. We had to return it.
