Nice size
Even tho it’s kinda bulky we like it better than our last one that broke after lots of car rides. This one fits between the front seats for the whole van to see and plugs in to the car sound system with an aux cord. Only prob with use at home is the built in speaker doesn’t go loud enough.

Screen size confusion is purposely manipulating
Clarification for this model and other models who advertise the outer headrest dimensions are being nicely manipulative by seller. This ad purposely indicates 16 “ when the back seat holder is this size NOT the screen diagonal measure being 14”. I looked at many other companies and similar models that offer the outer holder for back seat viewing .. they’re also misleading the size of screen.This particular model is well made, recharging indicator light shines on the surface it sits on. It’s remote is okay but needs aimed at the wireless receiver being the bottom Right corner. Keys are small but work well. Navigation is a bit tricky to make choices (with users choice) then how to backing out of the new setting. However the player is preset (fairly well) so users don’t really need to be bothered making adjustments.The rotating screen is concerning with intense use or if handled with brute force. Take it slow when flipping the screen in all directions: the wires will fail with abuse or sudden pulls and twists which make the player life span much lower. It is constructed well, the built in battery is very good and can play for 5/6 hours if you lower contrast and/or brightness and instead just properly angle screen to your eyes. This will consume less power yet obtain the same good results for picture.The adapter plug (supplied) for the US/Canada is odd but works with a half twist in the proper direction. (Manufacturer includes these global connectors for travel outside the U.S.)customer service is very good. (If any problems or issue). Screen size of 14.5 …Not 16”.Overall it’s a winner.

We loved this DVD player & after only 6 months it quit working. Just quit turning on, even plugged into the charger. My child loved how big the screen was and the sound was very loud and clear as well. We’d love to get a replacement if possible.

How the return turns out
Every thing was ok sound and cds but dvd screen was only a half screen with lines in other half when I put dvds in . Would like to have another that dvd worked in ok other than that will rate again later .

The sound and picture quality are great!
I bought this for my Mom who is in her 80s and not tech-savvy. It has a little weight to it which I like because I was fearful she might knock it off the table onto the floor. The DVD is an easy plug-and-play and the movie starts right up out of the box without having to charge it (wall plug-in). The battery life lasts the full time that is advertised and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the sound was. The swivel feature and closing of the lid with the screen facing up, make for easy viewing in any position. This DVD player was definitely worth the price paid. My only negative is that when a movie is playing, its hard to figure out how to get back to the main title screen. We have not used the remote yet (again, my Mom is not tech savy)

Value is what this is about; for the money you just can’t beat it
I get a kick out of people that rate this product a 3 or lower. What do you want for 70 bucks, a Bose, a Sonos? What world are you living in? This is an absolutely fine product for the money. Yah the speakers are somewhat tinny but the sound can be heard clearly. One person wrote that the sound only goes up to 20. At 7, it accosts your ear drums. For peat sake, get hearing aids reviewer person. We played Pirates of the Carribbean on it in the car going 70 mph for a few hours. No problem. Good enough video. Yah, you’re not going to confuse this product with an HD product. It’s fine.

Best CD player I ever owned.
Haven’t bought one of these in years. Bandwith streaming issues reminded me of all those CD’sin the closet. This plays all tried, some 20 years old. Easy set up, battery ok, runs great using solar generator AC outlet (Green Power) too. Storm lights out but got movies and music! Very happy.

It’s OK, barely..
It works, barely. Advertised as high volume speakers. Maybe they are, problem is the unit is not capable of producing high volume, even with headphones I can barely hear it. Good thing it supports subtitles so I know what they are saying. Remote control is very small with buttons very close. If not careful you’ll push 4 buttons at once. Watching in the dark I had to tape over the on & charge lights as they are brighter than the 15″ screen. Controls are a little odd on the unit and remote. Get past it and it works.

Great portable player.
We got this for the kids to use on a long car ride we recently took. But then I ended up going to a car show and used it there for people to watch a home made build video I had created.The picture was perfectly fine. The battery life was about 4.5 hours of play time. Takes about 1 to 1.5 hrs to fully recharge. I don’t think any of us have used the remote that came with it. The controls on the unit itself work fine.I’m happy with the player. It does everything we want and if there are other features it has that we haven’t explored yet, we consider it a BONUS.

Very big screen
This DVD player has a very big screen and good picture quality. The controls on the device are good except the pause/stop button is not very obvious and not with the other play buttons (fast forward or rewind and the skip a scene forward or back) as I would like. The volume when played directly from the speakers is adequate if in a quiet space, but not good enough if there is other noises in the area. Also, when closed, the shape has slopes to it so it is a bit hard to grasp and I felt could easily slip from my grip. After having used the device a few times, I have discovered that if stopped and the power turned off, the DVD does not start at the place where it was stopped.

You get what you pay for
I purchased this in Feb 2021 so its not quite 2 yrs old. I bought this one because of the size. It will not play the dvds at all now. I kept it in a case to protect it an only used it every once an awhile. So for the price it’s an ok deal. I will buy a namebrand one now.

Not worth the price
Worked great for exactly 2 months. Then the sound went and there’s a terrible noise over taking the movies.Nothing can be done so I wasted money. And don’t say I should have bought the insurance package as I do not like that company.

Sounds quality okay
This is meant to be used in a vehicle, but I use it in my rv. It’s a little thicker than a laptop, and the sound quality is not as clear as an updated tablet, but it works great. Can listen to cds in it too. Plugs into wall or can run after its charged without being plugged in. Cheaper than buying a laptop and external DVD player.

Super disappointing 🙁
I don’t know if it’s just mine or if they are all like this, but the sound is SO QUIET! It only goes up to 20and while I was increasing the volume it didn’t seem to get any louder… like at all. I played with the audio buttons, too, to see if it would make a difference but it didn’t. You might get away with that if you live in an incredibly quiet home and have excellent hearing but that’s not me or my home. I like that it’s easy to get the dvd started and that the screen swivels. I like that all the controls are available on the tv itself so you don’t have to rely on the remote. The size is good, like a laptop. Also like a laptop the screen needs to be tilted just right or you won’t be able to see the image on the screen so if you walk to the other side of the room you won’t be able to see the movie even though the screen is a good size. I could be fine with that if I could hear the movie still! Overall it feels like a waste of money since I’ll only be able to use it when I’m completely alone in my home so that I can hear it, and in that case I might as well use my regular tv and just turn the volume up so I can hear it from another room, meaning I wouldn’t need this. Would I get this again? No.

Life saver!
We were hit by hurricane Ian and didn’t have power for 12 days. We were going nuts and realized we had a ton of movies we could watch to pass the time, this did the trick for sure. Great picture and easy to use. My only complaint is the volume doesn’t go very high especially since it was more than one person watching it at a time it was difficult to hear unless it’s on your lap. It’s rechargeable so we used our car charger to get it charged for use since we didnt have power.

Good product for its intended use.
Want to watch an old favorite DVD away from the kids? Sit up in bed, plug in the earphones and have a private view. The volume is far less than hoped for so I added a very small, cheap earphone battery-power amp and a set of inexpensive Sony headphones and all is well. I can watch about 4-6 hours on one charge. Comes with charger—-and if you buy the tiny amp, it does too.

easy to use with an analog TV
I bought this DVD player because my DVD/VHS player that I had for many years stopped working. It was easy to connect to my analog TV so I can watch a movie on my TV rather than on the DVD player. The DVD player does not need to be kept open in order to play a DVD. I have not tried to use it in a car. The remote is not as easy to use because it is so small. It may be easier for a child to use because their hands are smaller. None the less I am very happy with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. I thought the price was reasonable.

Loose lid

We got this DVD once and got it replaced under return period. Now several months later it won’t read DVD s.Edited 8 months later….Although the DVD player stopped working right (we use them hours every day) customer service is amazing and they are shipping us another one.

the volume is outstanding
I am using the word outstanding, it’s the word in Love with this DVD/CD player. I’m 73 will be 74 in a month. I have had about 7 machine, DVD/CD players … this IS THE BEST> I have had. I have watch movies and it really works really good with home videos. Anyone wanting a large screen at home and then take it on the road. You will be what I call a Happy Camper. Homeschooling Necessity!
This DVD player met outlet need for our pre recorded homeschooling curriculum that comes in a dvd set. It is used 5 days a week and runs for several hours a day. We have made it through 45 days of school with only the remote giving us frustration. The buttons do not always seem to relay the desired message to the player when trying to pause, rewind or go forward. I have been disgusted with the remote at times but overall we are happy with the product and it serves its purpose for us as a homeschooling family using DVDs.

Worth it’s weight in DVD’s
Excellent! I needed a DVD player that would work in New Zealand, play all regions and was portable. That is exactly what I got. Nice large screen (larger than my laptop, which no longer comes with a CD/DVD drawer), nice picture quality and sound, easy to use and works in New Zealand- although I did need an American plug adapter, which I had. Well pleased with this player, which arrived well packed and in perfect condition.

I like the larger picture than the last portable DVD player I had. Picture quality is good. Worked right out of the box and easy controls. I would like some more ompf to the speakers but they are an improvement over the last player. The battery life is about 5 hours which is pretty good. This serves my purpose well and so far so good. I would recommend it as a good mid level DVD player.

A Good DVD player!
This DVD player is great and met my expectations. I love the screen size, not too big, not too small. It was easy to use. I turned it on and put in a dvd and started watching. No hassles. It has very good volume. The remote is pretty small though which is my only complaint. It comes with an operating manual for your benefit to do other stuff with it. I use it at home mostly when there is nothing else to watch on tv. It holds a charge for a long time up to eight hours. It is a good machine and I am happy with it.

Great value
I’ve only had this a few days but I’m really impressed. It measures 16 “ diagonally and 14 “ across. It’s the biggest portable DVD player I have owned and I’ve paid much more for a 7 inch screen. The volume could be louder but, Most of my portable DVD’s were never loud enough. The price was great for this size screen. The remote could be a little less complicated and the mounting case is pretty cheap so I will probably buy a better one for my car. Overall ,you cannot beat the price of this and it will come in handy when we have power outages.

Great customer service
I purchased two of these. One for my car and one for daughter’s car. Both have stopped working. Mine just stopped. I have used it very rarely only when I have my grandson with me. I am so disappointed that I have spent so much money and they both have quit working.Update—company contacted me and even though I informed them my husband was able to fix it, they reimbursed me for the product. Great customer service.

Cheap materials but performs perfectly
This thing is super lightweight and feels like it’s going to blow away in the wind. It has so many controls on it which is funny to me. It should have play/pause, stop, skip and enter. But they add all these other buttons to it.However, the quality of the screen is great, it did last well over two full length movies and the sound quality was very good. So maybe cheap doesn’t matter.

A quality product, I wish the instructions were easier to understand, I highly recommend this unit.
This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He is in a nursing home fr dementia and Alzheimer’s and truly enjoys watching DVDs and listening to CDs. I find the instructions confusing. Picture quality is sharp and clear when viewed head-on. Audio is clear and listening is easy to understand..

Very good investment no regrets!!!
I was amazed at the extra large screen, the quality and style is amazing, it’s light weight, I purchased the DVD Player for my grand-daughter and the sound is clear and it doesn’t sound distorted it’s great and absolutely perfect for my young grand-daughter and I , the price is very good and it’s very user friendly even with out the remote control. I would recommend this product for anyone who is in the market for a very nice DVD player that’s in doubt or unsure about purchasing. I even plugged it into my auxiliary in my car and got the surround sound effect to come through my car speakers, 5 stars all the way.

Used three times…much better!
UPDATE: any issues will be resolved by their customer service. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them. They shipped me a replacement at no cost to me after I explained the situation. No questions asked. Excellent service.The screen will not come on and stays white after three uses. We tried different dvds and chargers. Nothing. I would love to have my money back but I bought it too early in the year for a full refund from giving it as a Christmas gift.

Would purchase again, but
The only things I’ve found so far is that the volume is very low even all the way up, and the remote doesn’t work when it’s flipped for like travel mode, so I can’t press play from the remote in the front seat. But this has save our butts many times. I always keep it charged. Especially when the power goes out.

Great DVD player and amazing customer service!
I originally gave this DVD player a low score after purchasing it last August. It had stopped working. The company surprisingly got in touch with me and offered me a refund or another DVD player! I was stunned! I asked for another DVD player, which they sent promptly and it’s working fine. The customer support service was GREAT. If you need a DVD player with a large screen – this is the one!

They refund your money if having problems
I had such low audio and returned it. The 2nd time I had the same problem and had to get speakers to correct this. Customer Service worked with me and returned my full refund. This company stands by their products. Now the remote control has stopped working… the audio is better with the new speakers but how much are your speakers so I can adjust the volume where I want to.

Perfect for the money
This DVD player works great.. and great price! Love all the extra that come with, love that it can be used in the car or in the house/hotel or outside. Definitely a must if have kids! Great video quality
My children LOVE this DVD player. Nice big screen, great video and audio quality. It was a life saver on a 12 hr road trip. I definitely recommend this DVD player. I appreciate the extra plug ins that were provided. If you’re traveling outside of the country the seller provided the appropriate plug ins. I bought it originally for my toddler and ended up getting one for my preteen. It was a great alternative for when I wanted the preteen off the phone but his younger sibling took over the tv.
