Sleek, simple, portable
Sleek, simple, portable:Having owned several of these HDMI transmitters, I can say that some are a little easier than others to handle. This model is very sleek in its design and is a little bit easier to set up than some other models (which can be a bit larger and more cumbersome). The simple design is complemented by simple plug and play usage, with the transmitter and receiver clearly labeled for convenience. There was also no major lag when using these as a computer monitor connector and the quality did not drop off at all (as far as I could tell). The units are also pretty well made and the perfect size/durability to throw in a backpack and take with you on a trip.Overall, this is a great set and I would recommend.

It works decently for a computer monitor but video can be pixelated
The unit works and I had high hopes but a distance of 10-12 feet through an adjoining bedroom wall (just a standard drywall interior wall) the signal/quality gets iffy. I didn’t want to put a cable box in my office but at times when I am doing hobby work I am in there for an hour or two waiting for projects to render so being able to watch a show is nice to have in the background. It works but just standard video from a cable box I can watch it get pixelated and even “fuzzy” like a streaming video dropping to a lower resolution. Now for a conference room type usage with using it to connect a laptop for a meeting I think this would work well. For the price I am on the fence as I was partially hoping to use this with a second receiver to send tv signals to my guest room so company could watch tv if they want but that would be about 20 feet in the other direction through a wall so I am not sure if it would justify the high cost of a second receiver that I would probably end up wasting my time to return.

hdmi wireless
I love that they have made HDMI wireless, my only complaint is how pricey the technology is right now. It is pretty much plug and play for each connection without any hassle.

Good For Projector
We are using this HDMI transmitter with our projector. Now that it is cool outside, we have set up our projector in the yard and needed a way to get the signal to it and this transmitter set worked great. We are transmitting through a wall and about 50′ across the yard. This system was simple to set up and we have had no issues while using it. We would buy this again. 5 STARS

Great Product, Even Better Price
I researched many of these items. Many were much more expensive, so I was a little worried. This works SO GOOD! I am beyond pleased with the product. Thankful for a great product and for saving money!!

Easy wireless HDMI option with limited resolution
Seems to work fairly well and is easily set up. Have noticed a little lag at times, but I believe that was my laptop downloading updates in the background as it hasn’t been a consistent problem and seemed to lessen with time. It is limited to 1920×1080@60Hz however. Connected it from my laptop to my TV to play videos while I typed reviews. I did not try the app for phone/tablet as it had sketchy permissions it was asking for upon opening it. Overall this is an easy way to get audio/video output to a screen across the room.

One Transmitter and one Receiver that work flawlessly
It was not entirely clear what you get in the box from the product page (you have to read the product description quite carefully and not be tempted to skip over the blurb to find it): you get one transmitter (which I expected) and one receiver only (which I did not expect at that price). The transmitter plugs into the HMDI port of your device. Included are two adapters to convert HDMI Type A to Types C (mini) and D (micro) respectively; type C works with my video camera. I did not test this with my phone, as I was not keen to install yet another app on my phone and have not had a need to cast my phone to my TV.Unlike some other casting devices, this does not work on the wireless monitor principle; you do indeed need to connect the transmitter to your computer as the communication is strictly between the two supplied devices. Additionally, and somewhat annoyingly, it is recommended that you connect the transmitter power cord to a separate source (in other words, to not use the USB port on your computer for power). Furthermore, although not necessary in my case, if you are transmitting over longer distances, you need to purchase 5G antennas for the devices. It is not all doom and gloom though, as the pair of devices work very, very well. It is important though to make sure that you power up the receiver after the transmitter (somewhat counter-intuitive for me and opposite to what the instructions say). I did not do this initially and the connection kept dropping. In an effort to resolve things I started off by “rebooting” the receiver and realized that there was no need to reboot the transmitter. The communication was flawless after that – no outages in video or audio. I had been using a much cheaper device that turned my TV into a wireless monitor and I could never work out why it would become flaky after working well the prior time. These devices are clearly in a different class and I can now watch Formula 1 racing without interruption!Review for: Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver,1TX can Match up to 4RX(Television),Transmitter and Receiver Plug and Play.Laptop,Cable Boxes,Cameras to Project Screens to Multiple televisions or projectors

A NEW EASY PATH FOR MY HDMI SIGNALS
As I read the description, my buy light went off as I learned what this trick trans-receiver does. This replaces so many wires and other ‘things’ that my old school method. I don’t need (for today anyway?) to connect more than three displays at a medium distance…but with POPFAN, I can now consider a wider rangeof display placement options. The pairing is slick and easy. The compatibility is diverse and solid. I do enjoy sending a signalfrom a device my audience may not be aware of?Tech HD Magic. New device = new options.

Tiny bit picky but amazing
Receiving device attached to: Westinghouse Roku smart tvTransmitting device attached to: msi gp65 leopard laptop win 10 Firstly the two devices didn’t want to pair. What I had to do was plug the receiver (RX) into the hdmi of what I want my pc to appear on. Next was power supply which I plugged directly from a wall outlet. The first time it taken longer than 5 seconds for the desired blue screen to appear. Next I plugged the transmitting (TX) device in which would be my laptop and the power supply into a different port of my laptop. I had to follow the pairing instructions to which I then had a successful connection. As for the App… the interface of the app is very poor. It’s got really good quality when it wants to work. The transmitter and receiver give amazing performance with a less than second occasional disturbance in the display. I tested with a 55 fps video game. The disturbance would happen if a person got between the invisible signal between the two devices’ antenna. Overall I’d say this is worth the value. The instructions and the app both need work though. Thanks so very much~

Easy to Use, No Lag
These HDMI extenders are totally transparent. I plugged in one end to my PC, the other to my downstairs TV, and instant picture with no annoying lag or out of sync audio. Depending on your setup, it’s like an almost unlimited length HDMI cable.

Nice, HDMI, wireless transmitter and receiver
This is a handy device, especially for connecting your laptop via HDMI to any TV or projector. Often when I try to use airplay which can work but it’s not always supported in certain apps. I think it could have to do with copy protection. with this device however I’ve had no such issue as it’s just a straight HDMI feed to the device. Range seems good enough to go across the small house with the wooden walls. I haven’t tested it in a long distance.

Works great
I use this on an old projector that doesn’t have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It’s let me really free up the wires that used to make pulling it out a chore. Now I’m wire free and I couldn’t be happier.

This is pretty cool!
This device is really col! I plan to use this for presentations, but I gave it a test run on regular tv in my living room. I don’t currently plan to use four receiver, but it’s nice that I can add that functionality with more purchases. The setup was a breeze, too. I just plugged in the devices, and they connected without much hassle. The video quality is surprisingly good. There’s no lag or loss in quality. The picture comes through crystal clear on my TV.

Hassle Free HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Kit
This is a well designed and handy device! It works well and is super easy to setup and use. The Transmitter & receiver are pre paired at the factory! You do not need to download an app, configure any complex settings or worry about it. Truly Plug & Play. It transmits in full HD 1080p flawlessly up too 165′ and you can add more receivers. You can add up to 3 additional receivers. It’s really nice to get something that’s ready to work right out of the box.

Slick Wireless HDMI beyond 1 device
I had a broken HDMI wire from projector to home theater receiver and scratching my head to hire someone replace the whole wiring. Happened to come across this product and it really came to the rescue and fixed the connection problem without hiring anyone. So easy to setup, connect multiple devices. Absolutely, no lag and helped creating a clutter free space and freedom of casting/projecting from reasonable distance. It’s been very useful for me to setup multiple monitors along with a TV at work and of course all wireless.

Must raise the antenna for good transmission
Although I have pre-installed wiring for transmission of my video security system viewing throughout my house (via HDMI over Cat6) I elected to try out this pair of wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. (Had I not already connected all the other locations, this particular system which allows multiple receivers to be connected to one transmitter could have been used for all of my remote displays. )My first attempt to set up this system failed. I could get it to connect between my laptop and the receiver’s location in our home Office room as I moved around the house, but not when the transmitter was moved into the DataComm Closet with all of its wiring embedded in all 4 walls plus lots of other electronic equipment installed there – and with all the kitchen appliances located in the area between the two locations. So I contacted the seller about the possibility of adding an external antenna. They told me to raise the little antenna flaps on each device. Previously I hadn’t realized that these could be raised, but by using a dull butter knife I was able to raise them up. And now it works even from the DataComm Closet!Cables for connecting to power sources (that you must provide separately) are included. And there are various adapter plugs to fit most installations.A connection diagnostic screen is displayed by the receiver when a working connection is not available. But the key to stable transmission across more difficult situations is simply raising the little antenna flaps.

Raise antenna, not in instructions
Wanted this to watch my Xfinity box in a remote room. It was choppy until I figured out how to pop up the antenna (I used a butter knife). Suddenly, great. But this is nowhere in the little instructions, website, or any video. The instructions say it works better if you install a 5g antenna, with no clue how to do this or where to get one. Bingo, I bravely pried up that little antenna on both TX and RX and it works perfectly.

Easy to use and just works
Needed a solution to wirelessly connect laptops to AV system as there was no good place to run a cable. This solution worked for my use case. It was easy to use and setup. No pixelating, no lag, everything just works as if it was connected via an actual HDMI cable. The system also allows for additional receivers in case I want to broadcast to multiple screens. Highly recommended solution.

Good connection. Range not over 50ft
Super easy to connect and use. Only issue I had was with the range. Seemed to cut in and out around 50 ft. I will ordering the longer ranger version

Wireless without relying on AirPlay (Additional parts required)
This is a wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. It is extensible up to an additional 3 receivers (4 total) — additional receivers sold separately. The main thing that sets this apart from other wireless video solutions I’ve tried is that this pairs a dedicated transmitter and receiver together and does not rely on AirPlay or other network connectivity. To your transmitting device, it sees it as an HDMI attached device. On my MacBook Air M1, it appears as a second display in the Display settings. This hopefully eliminates some of the “weirdness” that can happen while using AirPlay to cast your screen. That being stated, there were a few hiccups that I had while using it. Although it automatically paired right out of the box, I had to lower the resolution from the default — I got random artifacts and difficult to read text otherwise. The other inconvenience is that you’ll need USB-A power bricks to power both the transmitter and receiver modules. While it comes with USB-C to USB-A cables (the interface on the device is USB-C), you’ll need to scrounge around for two USB-A power bricks, which are not included. What happens if you attempt to use your laptop’s USB port? You’ll get random disconnects while using it, which I experienced first-hand. The instructions are pretty clear that you need separate power bricks, so it’s not a surprise that it won’t work using your laptop’s ports. It’s just disappointing that you can’t really use this out of the box without the USB power bricks.

Go with Iogear
I have had Iogear HDMI transmitters for a few years now. No lag, high quality- excellent experience overall.Based on the reviews, I was hopeful for this product. I was looking for a one to multiple TX to RX, and this fit the bill.Upon install, I was relatively pleased. Within a few minutes, I noticed significant lag, terrible resolution and constant “restarts” not initiated by me.I decided to give it a few more days, and the performance became embarrassing. I ended up switching back to my old Iogear system, and just turning off the extra TV.Important to note- transmitter and receivers were well within range (significantly under, in fact.)

Transmits well for less than 50ft range
This wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver works well for distance of less than 50 feet. With no wiring required, I was able to transmit from my computer in the bedroom to TV in the living room.
