Works Great!
I was having problems at first connecting with my PS4 but after contacting their customer support team they were able to help me to get it resolved and getting it working! I recommend this product if you are looking to get this working for your laptop wirelessly. You can also watch it on your iPad or Android to watch from that screen. Great product!

Ideal for hdmi to projector, needed an extra F-F adaptor, how to get add’ Rx modules
I have been using a 10yr old (and sometimes glitchy) wireless HDMI Rx/TX set (2.4Ghz)This is smaller, 5 Ghz, faster to set up, and has many add’l features (for laptop and phone users).Video (1080i in my older Sony, from an Oppo BR player) seems about the same -near enough to make little difference, though being ‘future’ proofed for a while is nice too.I’d like to add another reciever, but can’t figure out where to order (just) one – in the event I get a new big TV and sometimes need to send to that instead of the projector.OTOH, these are simple enough and reliable enough to install I can just move it over. The only issue I had with installation is that the kit assumes you’ll be plugging the Receiver directly into a TV or projector, so has a ‘male’ HDMI cable end.But my projector has a cable installed (to reach the shelf where the geek gack lives), so I needed to order a (compatible) F-F HDMI adaptor that matched the higher frequency capabilities of the sender unit, so that delayed the install. Maybe they should include a F-F adaptor plug with the Rx kit, as this will be a pretty common occurence. On boot up, it displays the (complex) default setup display every time, and I coudn’t figure out a way to avoid that (since I wont be using the wifi direct or PC/Tablet features at all)- but really a minor issue at worst as it goes away quickly.I like the small size and brightly colored leds that indicate ‘status’ – and never saw even the slightest glitch in over 4 hours of movie watching – excellent.I had been experiencing odd washouts and ‘blinks to green screen’ with the older set up – hoping this will ‘cure’ that permanently (but could be from something else – at the least, this will either prove or eliminate that as the root cause.Congrats – for this simple use case of a streamer/BR player to projector, this is an excellent solution (and about the same cost as I paid for the last set 10 years ago!).Otherwise, there’s little to say – it just plugs in and works!!

Great for wireless setups
This is great for wireless setups where it’s impractical or inconvenient to run an HDMI cable between two devices. For example, I have a projector mounted in the middle of the ceiling in a room. With the transmitter and receiver, I don’t have to run an HDMI cable across the ceiling and wall, or through the walls. They come already paired, so all you have to do is plug them in and wait a few seconds for them to detect each other. If there’s a problem, you just have to press the buttons on each of them simultaneously for a few seconds until they pair again. Both need to be powered with the included USB cables – you can plug it into a USB port on the attached device, or use a 5v outlet adapter and plug it into a wall outlet (outlet adapter not included). When the receiver is plugged in but doesn’t detect the transmitter, it displays connection instructions on the screen. This comes in handy since you always have the instructions with you.It comes with a receiver, a transmitter, two USB to USB-C power cables, a six-inch HDMI extension cable, an HDMI mini adapter, an HDMI micro adapter, and an instruction pamphlet. The instructions say that you can cast your phone or tablet screen with them as well, but it involves downloading an app (Rscreen) and connecting to a WLAN. I was able to download the app, but every time I opened it, it automatically closed after a few seconds. Also, the Rscreen signal showed up in my list of wifi networks, but nothing happened when I connected to it. I couldn’t get this feature to work, but I wasn’t too worried – there’s easier ways available to cast to devices these days.I also used it to connect my PS4 to my projector and it worked great. There was a small amount of lag, but barely noticeable for casual gamers.Overall, this is a great wireless solution.

Works Well With Proper Setup
I’ve been waiting years for a wireless HDMI solution. I had been using a HDMI system that used a long ethernet cable. This is much better! At first I thought it wasn’t working. I was only trying to transmit about 10 feet through 1 wall. Then I realized I needed to deploy the small 5GHZ antennas on each device. The just flip up, but when I first tried they wouldn’t budge, so I left them down. The signal didn’t get through. Finally, after using a screwdriver to pry the antennas up (feeling like I was breaking them) the signal go through, crystal clear.I’m glad it included one HDMI extender cord, but it could use two, and perhaps longer cords. To get the signal through it helps to reposition the devices, but with the short pigtail cables, that’s not easy or possible. Also, each device needs USB power supplies, but specifically 1 amp, 5 watt power supplies. If they are so specific about the power requirements, they should include the power bricks. They are not included.Pros:-Easy to set up.-Clear picture and sound.Cons:-Cables are too short.-Specific power output power bricks not included.-Antenna is hard to deploy, but required for good signal.

Remove extra wiring
This is amazing I am able to remove so many wires around my desk. This device you have have 1 transmitter and up to 4 receivers (mirroring). There is ZERO lag from transmitter to receiver. This is great if you only have 1 device and want to share on multiple screens or monitors. i.e. teaching kids at home or watching tv in your office and or the living room, without having to unplug and plug everything back in.**Rule of thumb with transmitters and receivers** the number of transmitters (number of HDMI, USB, or Video connections) is the number of monitors you can have extended view on.So for example, I have 1 transmitter and 2 receivers. I use my laptop to teach two of my kids at home. So my laptop monitor can view one screen, while my kids can free the same second screen. All devices need to be hooked up to power of some kind. i.e. portable power pack, wall outlet or usb port.

Easy and flexible
There are many ways to mirror video from a computer, phone, tablet, or other source device (like digital camera) to an external monitor, projector, or TV: cable, Chromecast, Apple TV, and Miracast (built-in support or external receiver like ScreenBeam) come to mind. Some work with Android, some Apple, some Windows; some need an app; all need some sort of settings tweaking. This transmitter/receiver pair is easier: just plug receiver into external display/projector and plug transmitter into your content source. Retract the tiny antennas, and go. You get adapters in case you need mini or micro HDMI instead of standard-sized. Long range, low latency, no need for Wi-Fi (but it’s an option). Transmitter can work with up to 4 receivers at once, though since I only have one of each I didn’t test that claim. Or you can use the RScreen app (Android or iOS) to receive content. Transmitter and receiver look similar but are marked TX and RX. Includes USB power cable for receiver.

Workable wireless HDMI transmitter set by Yaomaisi, but only up to 1080p and static video
The wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver set by Yaomaisi is made in PRC (china). I have used this set up in a 1 transmitter to 1 receiver configuration. I needed a way to share hdmi via a tablet to a conference room system with multiple HDMI inputs. I tried resolutions higher than 1080p, but it did not work well, so I say that 1080p is the highest operable resolution for the Yaomaisi setup. I had about 70 ft and there was a cabinet and was able to maintain a clean enough signal for my presentation (animated powerpoint slides). I am not sure I would try to watch television with this setup, as there is a lag at 70 ft with an obstruction. This set was easy to pair once both were powered on and plugged into hdmi ports. There is no power supply included, and both TX and RX unit need a minimum of 10 watts of power. The $120 price tag gets you a functioning screen, but live video at 1080p was laggy with a 70ft distance between. This set works, it’s simple, but not my choice for live video.4 stars

No setup, so easy
I have been using an HDMI cable to connect my iPad to my TV. This wireless transmitter and receiver replaces that. Both the transmitter and receiver need to be plugged into a 5V power outlet. I plugged the receiver into the TV. I plugged my iPad into the transmitter. The video on my IPad was quickly shown on my TV.. It was quick, easy and it did not require a setup. It also worked with my husband’s iPhone. However, I need to purchase a HDMI/C adapter to see if it will work with my Android phone. This unit does what it says it will do and even a technically challenged individual, such as I, can get it to work.

good way to stream video without loss
I have an LG laptop and 86″ TV, so I can directly stream between them, as they are both connected to my router via WiFi. But, when I do that, it sometimes stutters because they are all crowding the same router bandwidth (I have 68 devices active on a mesh network). So, I got this to relieve that crowding. It would be better if I could use this for 4K, as I had hoped to be able to use the setup to work from home (no video streaming, just the static monitor for coding windows). But, for 1080p video, this works very well. You can tell it is ready to go when you hook up just the receiver and it shows the complex blue help menu on the receiving screen. That tells you it is ready and working. Then, when I connected the transmitter and it paired, the screen worked fine. There was no stuttering and the video transmission was perfect.I should note this is also a great way to have video transmission to an older TV that is not connected to WiFi. I also used it on a 13-year old 54″ plasma, connecting it to the HDMI input, and it works great for that as well.I like that it includes an HDMI extension cable (18″, I think), which I used to hook it up to my 86″, which is mounted on the wall. Using that, the receiver drops just below the bottom of the TV so that the metal and electronics of the TV do not interfere with the transmission (plus, it is easier to get to).At $130, the price is competitive with the other alternatives out there, and the unit works well, so I recommend it.

Simple installation
These instructions are simple and easy to read and each of the pieces are labeled and correlate to the instructions so you know what to put where. It also came with additional ports depending on the type of phone you have. Perfect for watching movies from your computer or streaming to your TV without an obnoxious cord!

An audio disaster
This HDMI transmitter/receiver neither transmits nor receives very well. I had to reset this device multiple times before doing one presentation.

Plug and play and good pic quality, just as it says
I have my TV mounted above the fireplace, I have the Apple TV mounted behind but that is not a possibility for the DVD player. If we wanted to watch DVDs I would have to rip them and put them on my Plex server, that is if I had the plex server up. Not anymore. I got the, and plugged the receiver end to my tv and the transmitter end to my dvd player and voila we can now watch DVD on our TV. It was as easy and plugging in the two, each gets powered via USB which my tv and my dvd player had so no worries. The picture and sound seem to be a good quality.

Worked really well
Works really well, especially within the same room. Once you go into another room through a couple of walls and doors, not so well, but didn’t expect it to.

GREAT range – wow – and no noticeable degradation
These long range HDMI transceivers are a great solution to some common projection problems. The range is amazing. We tested it through a wall, at 150 feet, and there was no loss in quality. There is a hair of lag. But that doesn’t really matter for any use case I can think of.Pairing them is super easy, too – the transmit and receive units are clearly marked. They DO need power – which they get via USB.

Works Great for 1080P Video
This works great for 1080P video. The transmitter is used on the device that you want to transmit. The receiver receives that transmission and projects it. It’s basically plug and play and there’s no notable lag while watching videos.

Really GOOD
There is only the barest hair of latency (delay) and it works great. The picture is good and I had no issues with it.
