Small and flexible, but temperamental and hard to fully use
This was actually my second one of these. They are light and portable, and the software gives many options… when it works. The first one was DOA.The second one booted up great but for some reason would not initially connect with my phone. Then I finally, somehow, got it working, but there was something odd… all of the “templates” being offered indicated that the font or artwork was too large for the printer’s tape and the image would be “clipped”.I could find no way to change the font size and nowhere to find templates with different-sized fonts. Very frustrating.BUT, if you can get it to work, and get it to connect, and find the right templet or how to adjust the size for the printer, it’s a neat small gadget.

Complex setup requires potentially insecure XEasyLabel App
This is a beautifully designed little thermal printer, but there is apparently no way to operate it without the XEasyLabel App from by Zhuhai Mobile Intelligence Co., Ltd. XEasyLabel requires that the user to accept their Privacy Policy, by which one must agree to submit personal information for unlimited access, without user notification, to the government of China (according Articles 36 and 40 of the “中华人民共和国个人信息保护法” (PIPL)). As my personal privacy policy is not to share my personal information with anyone without good reason (certainly not label printing), I installed XEasyLabel on a WiFi-only iPad and provided only an email alias by which to receive a verification code email (from starService@xprinter.net). Fortunately, that was all that was needed to use XEasyLabel and the printer, despite the app asking for other personal info (phone number, location, social media ids, file system access). I may have to provide file system access, so I don’t keep any private files on the iPad.The printer comes with a roll of white labels installed, but before use, you must open the cover as shown in “Paper roll installation” to draw out the green sticker at the end of the roll, or you’ll get an ‘out-of-paper’ warning. Until then the LED remains red, turning green when ready to print. After printing, the printer turns itself off after about 15 minutes. The XEasyLabel App requires some complex procedures to select label types and sizes, text font and orientation, languages, borders and a vast array of ‘sticker logos’ (icons), much of which is well described by in-app tutorials (but “Easy” does not spring to mind). The HP2 printer comes only with one roll of 160 white labels pre-installed, and prints only black on white. Fortunately, that’s all I need. Still, one should expect to spend about a half hour learning the app.In summary, if you need high quality 14 x 40 mm (0.55″ x 1.57″) pre-cut sticky labels, and are willing to spend some time learning the app, the Vretti HP2 label printer is a flexible choice.

It’s a Label Maker
I’m a little weirded out to give a company all access to my phone in order to use the app that doesn’t have any reviews in order to print the labels. But it’s a label maker and works well.

Basic but easy
I’ve wanted a label maker but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something I wasn’t sure I’d use often. Well, now that I have one, I find all kinds of ways to use it! The app is simple and the quality is good.

Easy to set up and works well but the App is hard to use
This was easy to set up. Scanned the barcode in the directions to get the app and it detected it easily. The labels print nicely and although the app has some potentially nice features it is very cumbersome to use (when I went to select a font they were all listed in Chinese). Once I was able to set up the print for the label the printer worked flawlessly.Since this requires the app to use I only gave it 3 stars due to the problems with the app. If the app had been easier to use I would have given it 5 stars.

What a handy and convenient printer!
When I saw this portable printer I was actually looking for small labels for small see containers. I was curious about how well it would work so I ordered it. When it arrived it came with a charging cord, which is actually a very nice cord, and quick instructions that consisted of scanning the QR code on the printer body to download and pair the unit with the controlling app.Once the pairing was complete creating the labels, which turned out to be the perfect size, was quite easy. There are a variety of templates for the labels in the app and since its arrival my husband and I have found so many uses for it. The battery life has been really good as well as having a quick charge time, which is done with the included USB-C cable.I’ve actually been quite impressed with this little printer. A lot more than I first expected to be, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs something small, compact and portable.

Nice basic label maker, sure portable
This is a neat little device that is super portable. It would easily fit into a briefcase or something of that nature for work, and is easy to use. It’s a thermal printer and does not have a keyboard or anything attached, as there is an app that you download for your phone There are no real instructions on the app, but it’s pretty simple to figure out basic printing. There are several options on the app for different text, fonts, borders etc. As it ships, a roll of pre-sized labels is included, and therefore your text can only be so long. If you want it to print something longer than the pre-sized label, you would have to buy a continuous rolls of label tape. The labels that came with the printer are about 10mm x 40 mm. The printing on these test labels is about 5mm, and I put a border around the printing. You might be able to make the text a little bigger, but you can see you won’t have much more room on the label. The Amazon ad shows labels on food containers, books etc. as being much larger than they actually are.All in all a nice little basic printer that is small enough to carry with you if you have that need.

Easy to use with the app, prints nice labels
Roll that comes with seems like enough to last a while, but i’m not sure where to buy replacements. The app is super easy to use and connecting it is super easy as well. Print quality is pretty goof for printing photos but it’s not the best. Printing text is where this is good though, easy to just type it in on your phone and just print. Overall pretty good buy but replacement labels are a question.

The download process is quite easy. However, adjusting the font, what it says, and how it appears takes some time to get used to. I struggled with spacing. However, once you get the hang of it, it’s quite easy.

Label everything!
I’ve been looking for a label maker that doesn’t require much maintenance and this is it! The labels are small – some of the pictures on Amazon are a bit misleading as far as the size so make sure you check the specs to ensure this will meet your needs. This unit is efficient and this doesn’t require ink, which is so helpful! The labels print well, with occasional spotty quality in some of the fonts, but the text is readable and does not rub off. The software was easy to download and follow, and there are so many cute templates to choose from within the app. So far I’ve been able to label all of my files, tabs in a few binders, some spice jars in my cabinet, and even the bottom of a dish that I took to a recent potluck. The labels adhere well to all of the surfaces I’ve tried so far. Looking forward to having the ability to label my kids’ items on-the-fly with customizable labels that are fast and fun!

Cute, compact, and easy to use
This printer is cute and lightweight. It was already charged when I took it out of the box, and I downloaded the app from the QR code provided in the manual. It was easy to register my account and set up the printer. There are several fonts available in different languages and I enjoyed using the different English fonts. It was easy to edit text and change the font. Frames, stickers, date and time stamps, images, QR and bar codes can also be added to labels. The only issue I had was that the label size in the app isn’t the same as the actual label, so my label wasn’t centered and the image size was a bit distorted. Overall, this is a fun product and I can’t wait to put more labels on things in my house.

Great tool for IT professionals
Reviewing the vretti Label Maker Machine with Tape, HP2 Portable Bluetooth Label Printer.BOTTOM LINE: Great tool for IT professionals. Not a fan of the app. 4/5 stars.BENEFITS and FEATURES:- Small and portable – easy to carry around labeling cables, ports, equipment in the Computer Room.- Charges fairly fast with standard USB charger (USB cable included, but not the charger).- Prints fast enough.- Prints good, readable labels.ISSUES and CONCERNS:- Not happy having to download and install Chinese (in English) app to make this work. Fortunately, don’t have to register on the app to use the printer – only to save previous labels, etc.

A nice label maker
I found this label maker easy to use and I thought it produced good results. Others complained about the app but I didn’t find it to be too terrible. I didn’t like that the app wanted me to sign in to be able to print my labels. It paired with my phone easily and didn’t lose connection like some other cheap Bluetooth devices. Printed labels look better than I thought they would, and you’re able to print a variety of images with it. Overall I’m happy with it and feel like it’s much better than the old label makers that printed using ink and only supported text. My only worry is what happens if the company disappears, hopefully the app will keep working.

This label maker works great and is almost like the Niimbot D110, but the app is just ok.
When I first saw this Vretti HP2 labeler, it reminded me of the Niimbot D110 label machine that I have and is one of my favorite label makers. The HP2 uses a roll of label tape and you use the XeasyLabel app to edit your labels. I find the app just OK. It works well, but some things seem a little more difficult to edit than they should be. When I first turned on the app and the printer, it immediately downloaded an update for the printer, so I was glad to see they were keeping it up to date with updates. I found it easy to type something up and make a label, but when I wanted to edit the text, or resize it, such as when I added the frame to my test print, this is what I feel like needs work and was hard for me to figure out. The printer is great, but it is slightly held back by the app. It’s still a good label machine though.

Small, portable, wireless little label maker.
It is a small little thermal label maker. It charges quite easily, connected to my phone without a glitch. Prints 14mm wide labels, and comes with a spool of 40mm long segmented labels.Downside and why it’s 4 stars and not 5? The phone app is not the best, and I think it requires an online account and cloud access to work. I have not done much digging to see if an always-on internet connection is required. I wish it was easier to scale and move things, but that’s really it.Press “Print” and away it goes, prints -fast- and quite quietly. Sounds as loud as any of the stand-alone label printers. For the price, quite nice, and should use any standard 14mm thermal label tape.I enjoy it. I’ve started labeling everything.

Very portable, great for short label
It took a little trial-and-error, but I figured out the app pretty quickly. The length of text is limited by the size of the fixed-length labels, so it’s not as flexible as a continuous labeler. But, it’s fine for labeling my file folders and various household containers. It’s very compact, so I’ll be able to easily use it in multiple locations.

Fun mini label maker – works fast, easy to use but sometimes a bit blurry
This is a pretty cool mini label maker. It’s quite easy to use and offers a good amount of customization. It prints super fast too! My only complaint is that sometimes the labels come out a bit blurry but for the most part I’m happy with the output.

Fun Label Maker
I had some ideas for a label maker and decided to go with this unit. It is Bluetooth and stands at a nice size. It was a little confusing at first as the instructions don’t really give you much details on how to use it. The labels included have a gap in between each label. After you download the app for the label maker, you can change the font, the size and among other things. It can be a little sensitive connecting to Bluetooth, as it would sometimes not connect to my phone but when I clicked it in the app, it would connect. All in all, this is a fun label maker and for the cost it isn’t too bad. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs a label maker.

Prints well, but app is a little tricky
I wanted a small label printer to mark toiletry bottles and small jars. This printer is perfect for that. It works from an app which bluetooths to the printer. The instructions weren’t very easy to figure out so I had a lot of trial and error. I’m still trying to figure out how to center on the label. It prints well but I wish the app was a little more user friendly.

Makes a nice label
This little label maker does the job. But it’s very rudimentary and the app is not very user-friendly. And it’s obviously geared toward the Chinese market. There is very little instruction on how to make it work, so you have to sort of figure it out yourself. But it makes a decent label once you have it figured out, and that’s what I wanted!

Great Little Machine with Some Customization, Not the Cheapest of All Options
Great little device that is easy to set up and use. It’s pretty small (about two cassette tapes stacked ontop of each other) and has an easy, intuitive design.Charging took about 2 hours, maybe a bit less, which matches how it’s advertised. The app doesn’t require any permissions that do not seem necessary – just need to allowing it to search for the nearby device via BlueTooth. The app provides several neat templates for labels that are all categorized in the app, and customizable, which can be really handy if you’re looking to label things with expiration dates, or other time-sensitive stuff. If you want to save a template that you customized, you need to create an account, which is kind of lame, but I don’t ever foresee the need to get really into the weeds with customization, especially if you’re not going to go crazy printing labels off every day. Several label templates do give a warning that they will get cut off due to the printing size, but you can then move/delete the text and/or icons to make it all fit. This does lead to a potential qualm that some might have – the labels are all of preset size, it’s not a continuous “label” that you just tear off as needed, there are “gaps” in between the labels on the roll, so you will have to align the label roll closely in the machine, and this limits the length of all labels – this is just the standard roll that comes with the product, so you can probably buy different types of rolls that alleviate this issue. The adhesive on the labels isn’t excellent, but serviceable, and will probably stick to a reasonably flat, dry surface for a very long time as long as you’re doing anything super active with what you’re labeling.Overall, a useful device with a few tricks up its sleeve. Given that there are less expensive options on the market with similar functionality, I will have to dock one star due to the price, as this may not be the most competitive option out there, but nonetheless, it is effective and does exactly as advertised.

Portable but there is limit on label length
I have a big label machine that I make use throughout the year to make labels for bottles, clothes, etc. I decided to replace it with this portable one since it is smaller and power operated. This label make is a little big larger than my hand and is very flat compared to my old one. I like that I can charge it and use for awhile without having to charge again or plug in to use. This one also has an app that makes it convenient to change the setting, although I have not use all of them except the basic ones. It’s great for a quick label to put on my kids’ school items. The downside to this machine is that there is a limit on the label size. They have preset sizes so you have to make sure that the wording fits inside the label. If you need larger or longer labels, this little gadget will not work for you. But other than that, it’s very convenient for small items.

Only for certain smartphones
I have an iPhone XS that has iOS 17 on it and when I tried to “Pair” this it was like saying “not supported.”I was able to successfully download the app that is associated with the label thermal printer, but the Bluetooth side wouldn’t connect automatically and I had to go through some extra steps to figure it out. After about 15-20 minutes i was able to successfully pair this to my phone using the application on the phone. It kept trying to “scan and locate” even if I had the thing powered on and trying to scan the barcode on the back. Eventually, it found itself and now connected to my iPhone.I am starting to wonder if Android users will have less difficulty than what I went through.I did like the fact it included a roll of paper with this and I got a charging cable along with the printer. After the set up, the app is very similar to my M0S printers app, but a little different.Easy to use, but the set up time was taking longer than needed. So, I mentioned above for my header that this is for certain iPhone/Androids. Not compatible with all phones on a Bluetooth perspective due to my challenge with my iPhone XS at the latest OS.

Works Well, But Aligning With Label…
I do like this label maker. You download the app called XeasyLabel (the QR code that gets you to the app is on the box and also inside the user guide.)If you want to create a plain label, simply select “Create a New Tag.” If you want a label from a pre-made template, select “Label Templates.” Then you just make sure you have your label maker on and connected to the app and press print. It will ask if you want to store the label you work on, if you say yes, it’ll want you to create an account so you can safe it. I just press cancel and it won’t force you to sign up.CON: I tool off one star because there is a size/dimension on the editing screen in which I can’t seem to change. I would change when I disconnected the label maker, but that’s not feasible. Hopefully that was just a fluke. I also didn’t like that there’s no good way to know if the label and print will align. Mine was off, not centered, even though the editing screen showed it was centered. And since they sent this with noncontinuous/gap labels vs continuous labels (no break in the entire roll, you just cut off your label when it’s done so you can create labels that are as long as you need), alignment is pretty important.Even with the few things I don’t like, I really do like this label maker. It’s easier to use than typical label maker since you do everything from an app.

Nice basic label maker
The is a small thermal printing label maker that prints on a roll of stickers. It includes one roll. The device uses USB-C to charge which is good since everything is going to USB-C and I can just use my phone charger to recharge it. The rechargeable battery only took an hour to charge. The directions included in the box are tiny and hard to see. Blinking green means it is charging and solid green means it is charged. The solid green light went out after it was charged so I missed it the first time. The labels are pretty basic and measure about 1.5 inches by .5 inches. No ink is needed. Not sure how long these labels would last in a hot environment but should be fine for home use.I downloaded the Android app from the Google Play store. The App is in English but the company name and other details are in Chinese. The App is nice looking with basic features. It is designed for a variety of printers and has lots of templates you can use, but some of them give a warning when you try to download them since they are the wrong size for this label maker. You can create your own labels with a basic editor in the app. One annoyance is you have to sign up for an account to save your items. They don’t seem to save locally.Overall this is a nice basic label maker. Hopefully they can improve the app and allow you to skip the account creation.

Easy setup. Neat and inexpensive labels.
Setup and connection to the device is super easy. The only thing I found a bit confusing was aligning the labels properly when loading the device. If you get it nearly aligned with the label edge, after printing the first label (which you will almost surely waste), the device somehow auto-aligns the next label so that it’s correct. Subsequent labels will then be ‘centered’ properly and any borders you add in the design phase seem to be properly positioned. At least that’s the way it seemed to work for me after I quit trying to overthink it and adjusting it manually. I wasted a few labels fighting the machine before I got it working by just letting it do it’s thing.Comes with a roll of blank labels. Refills seem to be reasonably priced at about 2 cents per label. The only thing I really didn’t like was that the XEasyLabel app doesn’t seem to work on my M1 Mac. Most IOS iPhone and iPad apps nowadays run fine on the newer Macs, this one didn’t.. at all. The Mac AppStore will let you find it, and will let you install it, but it’s very apparent when you launch the app that it just doesn’t play nice with MacOS.

Have no fear, organization is here
I absolutely love purple, which may or may not be the main reason I picked this Handy Dandy portable label printer.Set up with straightforward, all I had to do was install the included tape roll and make sure it was properly sent. After that, I scanned the qr code in the manual Which took me to the app which let me use this device. Only downside I found was the app wasn’t so straightforward in figuring out how to change different ratios for different tapes, but I did figure it out after a bit of looking around.

Sweet little printer with one gripe.
I picked up the vretti Label Maker because my old label maker has been lost to the ether. This little label maker is actually pretty great, it comes with one roll of tape in the box. You have to download an app, which I’m usually suspicious of so a great way to do this is to download it on an older device or tablet you rarely use. The app must connect through Bluetooth to the little printer, once found it’s easy to print. Within the app there are quite a few settings you can play with to make the text bigger, smaller, wider, etc.Overall, it’s a great little label maker, my biggest gripe would have to be the cost of new thermal rolls being $10+ ea.

Is Purposeful
This is an interesting tool. I didn’t really know what to expect. I’d not really considered one of these before. It is easy to set up as long as you have the directions nearby. You have to download a mobile app to design the label. I just typed testing. The app gave an option to print on a “continuous” roll of tape or on the individual label on the roll of tape. I chose “label,” and it reverted to “continuous” on its own. Why ask me? The word “testing” I’d typed was printed off-center on the label.I usually just write on paper stickers to label things, but I do see the benefits of this. This is good on the fly. The labels do not peel as easily as paper stickers. Plus, I won’t have to keep looking for my writing utensil, as I usually do when writing on labels. These labels are small, so I see this as a labeling system for small items, perhaps. My main issue, besides the gremlin that changed my label choice, is just how easy or difficult it will be to replace these when the roll empties.

A little hard to line up but otherwise great
The label printer works great, though it’s a little tricky to use at first. Downloading the app is kind of a pain since it’s mostly in another language and the translation isn’t solid. The hard part is getting the separated label paper to line up right so that whatever you’re printing doesn’t get cut off. I had to basically trash the first four that I printed until I got it lined up right, but after that it was no problem to use and I ended up liking the little things you can add to the label inside the app. The print function works great, it’s all solid lines with no interruptions, and the serrated cutting blade on the end is easy to use. I was surprised by how light this is despite its solid size, which makes it great for travel, and it seems to hold a charge pretty well. I wish the charging cord was a little longer, but it works. Overall, I’m happy with the printer.

I love this label maker. The app is a little lacking, but there are a ton of things you can do with your labels. You can change to special fonts, add borders/frames, quickly put the date on them, etc. I love using labels a lot, so this is a nice-to-have item for me. It’s wireless and connects to your phone directly through the app as well. My only issue is that I wish it had come with an extra roll of labels possibly since there really isn’t many on the one roll it comes with.

Makes labels
Works well enough. The app is junk but works. Printed off some low res pictures with it to test, don’t look as good as it advertises, but you could actually tell what the pictures were. Wish it came with a roll of continuous stickers instead of these precut ones. App said they were 14x40mm each, so won’t work with long labels like whole sentences. App works without making an account, at least, but I wish there was a generic app that would work with these devices.

One of my favorite label printers … and least favorite apps
I’d give this label printer five stars and the app two. Maybe less. The app is okay if you want to do straight printing of a simple text label, but anything else is totally counterintuitive. That, and if you want to save a template, you have to give them your email and personal info. I have tried several of these label makers, and I wish I could use this one with the app of another.I have trouble recommending a good piece of hardware tied to a terrible app, but it is what it is. Maybe they can improve the app to match the quality of the printer. One thumb up from me.

Great for labeling
I’m actually quite impressed with this little machine. It labels files, organization, it’s pretty easy to set up, the only problem that I had was using the app it took a while to get it right, but it works great. It’s a little smaller than I had hoped but it’s definitely worth the cost. It makes organization in my home a lot easier

OK for what it is, I suppose.
Print quality is OK. Not happy about the app. I wonder what information is being leeched from my phone, so I use an old phone with no “real” information on it. I mainly use it to label freezer items. For that, it’s fine. Don’t expect it to take the place of your Dymo.

Good enough!
The initial set up with this one is a little tricky and I don’t love the app that you design the labels with but it does have tons of font and icon options and a lot of flexibility with what you can design. The labels themselves come out nice and they adhered well to my cleaning bins.

Good not great
I had been searching for a little printer like this one for months and was so excited when I found this one. It is really handy but it’s also pretty cheap quality. You have to download a specific app to hook up to the printer which is pretty straightforward and easy. I was never able to figure out how to get good spacing on each sticker so some labels show the border and others only show the border on one side or not at all. The actual printing itself is decent but also is pretty splotchy and not even throughout, as well as being kind of squished together in some cases. I’m not overly pleased with this product and I would likely not recommend it. Perhaps with more detailed instructions it would be easier to use.

I love this little guy
Ever since I got this label printer, I’m coming up with all kinds of excuses to print labels for things. I DO use it for a lot of really useful, important stuff, such as labeling cables where it’s not obvious what capacity the cable has. This is especially useful with USB, HDMI and DisplayPort cables that can be vastly different in speed and power ratings but quite often have on indication on the cable of their capabilities. Adding a label helps you pick a cable correctly instead of later finding out you connected that external HDD with a USB-C USB 2 cable, or tried to charge your phone with a 3W max USB cable, or tried to run 4K 144Hz with an HDMI 1.2 cable. I’ve also used it for a lot of fun stuff. The printer is battery powered and charges over USB-C. I’ve yet to run it out, but I have charged it a couple of times. This combination is awesome, you can carry it around and print labels on the go, and charge it with the same cable you use for your phone. The App that pairs with it is simple to use, and is available directly on the Google Play app store – no dodgy third party download sites to install unknown apps from. The app is quite flexible in it’s choices of fonts and border styles. It can also take images and print them directly. The printer handles lots of different sizes of labels, as well as both continuous and separated labels.

Versatile on the go label printer
I had a simple need: putting labels on the boxes of cables and power blocks I’ve collected over the years. I wanted something easy to use and affordable. The vretti met both needs very nicely. The printer was lightweight and small enough to carry in one hand. Like many electronic devices these days, it used a built-in rechargeable battery and included the requisite USB cable. The lack of a power block meant I had to use one of the many spares in one of the boxes I wanted to label. It also charged nicely when plugged into my laptop. The labels came on a roll that dropped into the top of the printer. Setup was as easy as pulling the first label into position and closing the lid.The label maker uses a phone app (iOS or Android) to create and print the labels. The app is free and easy to setup. After pairing the printer to the phone, one selects the label size and the type of label you want to print. For me, that’s a simple text label, though you can add pictures if you wish. After choosing the font, size and spacing, I was able to print labels quickly and easily. After labeling the containers I wanted, I came up with a solution to one of my ongoing challenges: distinguishing USB charging cables from data cables. The solution was simple: print a label saying “Charging Cable” and attaching it to the charging cables.Overall, it’s a handy device that doesn’t require ink and can be carried in a bag or coat pocket for use wherever you need it. At the price, this is an easy 5 star review.

makes good labels but one issue
SO with this label maker you download an app to control it and design your labels then send the image from your phone to the label maker via bluetooth. It does a good job except that when you start of the label maker app for the first time it asks what size labels the maker is using and the packaging on the label maker is rather vague on that point. If you put the wrong size into the app I have not found a way to switch that setting besides deleting and reinstalling the app. Because of that I give it 3 stars. Its a good product but not fantastic. If they would improve the documentation in the label maker and make it easier to switch label sizes in the app I would bump the review up to 5 stars.
