Works Perfectly Right Out Of The Box!
I had one of the previous versions of this TV, same size, still in great condition btw, but the Internet connectivity was always an issue, frequently freezing and dropping in the middle of streaming; although on the plus side, that one still gets updates. I was so frustrated with the performance of my last one, I wasn’t going to get another of this brand, but decided to give this updated model a try. I just got it today. Like the other, setup was fast. Improved: it connected to the Internet immediately without connection errors. I also like the new remote design, where the whole back of the remote doesn’t come off just for the batteries! I’m waiting for it to complete the updates and hopefully I will be set up and ready to watch my Netflix and play my video games.Update: After a few days of use, I have some feedback. This TV volume doesn’t get very loud at all. It’s in my bedroom, so it’s not in a large space where the sound gets absorbed. Sometimes movies are hard to hear, seems like the actors whispered through the whole show, so I’m pressing the volume button, but it’s still sounds too low, no matter how high it goes! My older Vizio has stronger volume than this one, and doesn’t even go up to 100 like this new one! Even raised to 40, this doesn’t do a lot. At 60-90+ you would expect to be blown away! However this just doesn’t kick and needs a stereo system.

The updated version of the first smart tv I bought and by far, the best.
I am replacing an older Vizio 32 inch tv with this one. The older tv was used almost exclusively on an antenna and after four years of service when we tried to connect it to the household network it worked fine but because it was an older model, all functions were slow and awkward. Finally I couldn’t stand it and bought this new version of the same TV and what a remarkable difference. It just sort of leaped out and grabbed the household wifi and from then on most of the set up was automatic. Also once installation was finished, the use of the control for changing programs or modes was so much faster and easier than the earlier model I wish I had made the change sooner. Usual high quality Vizio video quality and the sound is excellent and in our use there is no need for added volume as this is mounted in the kitchen. I really like Vizio and the way this television operates. We will be using this strictly with Internet streaming and will discontinue the old antenna entirely as we live in a fringe area for over the air tv and there is no cable service here at all. For our purposes and I suspect for most people’s needs in a basic sized tv, this Vizio 32 inch is highly recommended.

Wow what a improvement!
My old Vizio had become outdated. Slow to stream and picture dark at times, but it was purchased about 10 years ago. Love Love Love my new one hubby got me for Christmas. The bad part is I’m watching way too many movies now…

Total DUD; avoid this model at all costs!
I had to try three different 32 inch Vizio tv’s and none of them worked. Instead of the company sending me a box to return the latest one, I have to give them proof that this tv is crap. I had great success before with other Vizio’s but now I will NEVER buy from them again. I am out $158.00 and that is a lot of money. I am on a fixed income and still cannot believe this company pulls this on their customers.

inexpensive but not impressive
I needed an inexpensive small TV for the garage and chose the Vizio 32″, So far, two issues: (1) image brightness is uneven across the screen. There are three bright spots in the upper middle part of the screen and my eyes seem to focus on them. No playing with the controls changes this problem. (2) the TV was assembled with a defect; the plastic border surrounding the image area was glued on at the op (slightly curved framework) without being fully pressed down. So the bright backup light shines through a narrow gap, maybe 1/16 inch wide in the top middle of the TV. I covered it with black electrical tape to hide the defect and stop the light from showing. Not very impressive, even for the modest cost. But it does work, so it is not a total loss.

You Get What You Pay For
The remote control is designed badly. Channels are way at the bottom and not easily entered with one hand. The button for returning to the previous channel is under the button that takes you out of the mode you’re in so constantly having to change the mode back to TV. Every once in awhile the whole think just goes blank. No sound no picture and the only way to fix it is to unplug it.

Great TV
Bought this for my teenage son and he absolutely loves it. He is your typical gamer, therefore most of the TV’s I’ve bought he turns them into gaming monitors. (Go figure) This one he loved so much, that he has kept it in his bedroom as an actual television.

Major bugs
Worked great for the first two months I had it. Was simple to use and set up but has some major bugs. After two months it is constantly turning itself on and off and restarting itself over and over. I searched the web saw this was a common issue and tried all the tricks to fix this but nothing has helped. Its such a waste to just get rid of a new tv but I don’t even know what to do anymore. Such a major inconvenience. I got to enjoy it for such a short period of time

Good for first month
Tv started out good. Just needed something for a spare room . Now I constantly have to unplug and re plug to get it to work and even then it’s a gamble. Occasionally it won’t stay internet connected (even though everything else does) and it’s constantly resetting itself and I have ti log back in to every app again. Last 4 days I’ve had to log back into Hulu everyday for what? It also constantly freezes up. It’s a cheap price but I’m not even sure it’s worth the trouble really.

Box distroyed
Received tv box was destroyed terribly, looked as though that has kicked it all over the truck. We did pull the the TV out and check it. No damage seen hope it works since it a Christmas present.

Better than I was expecting
Beautiful picture, great looking tv. Being a refurbished tv I was expecting some cosmetic flaws and I was pleasently surprised when there were none. The only thing wrong is the sound has to be way up to be heard but than again that could be just me.

“New” picture tube failed in less than one week of use.
Less than one week after installing a brand new “VIZIO 32 inch D-Series HD 720p Smart TV”, the picture began to deteriorate so much that it appeared as if I was watching a very faint picture through a snowstorm! A TV repairman tried adjusting the picture controls, etc. but then said the problem was probably a defective picture tube. Aren’t TVs bench tested before leaving the factory anymore?

Great for two days.
We just bought a house and got this tv so I would fall asleep in the bedroom. I used it two times and now it’s got a blank screen. Powers on and screen stays blank. Just the tv nothing hooked up to it. I know electronics can fail but this is a hassle. Lemon Alert.

Junk open box
This product was received in original packaging but obvious open box. Damage to all the Styrofoam on the inside and one of the stand the legs was missing. Remote had finger prints and dirt on it. Speakers sound like they are blown out. Sound quality is terrible.

We bought this TV November 2021 and it has now decided to stop connecting to the internet and keeps signing out of streaming services and freezing while playing. I may be in the minority, but I expect electronics to last over a year at least, not 9 months…

Get what you pay for
First the driver left this clear electronic device on my porch in the rain when I wasn’t home. The setup was ok but after a few days the screen went green and had to reset the set and then a week later the screen went gray and went through another annoying process trying to fix that. Never again

Do not BUY unless you want to purchase another TV
For the 720p quality I expected the picture not to be so great but the TV stopped working a month later and only can turn on after unplugging the tv and now it won’t turn on DO NOT BUY because you can not return it. Save time and money…
