Checks all the boxes!
We needed a smart TV to fit on the kitchen counter under the cabinets. All the 32″ TVs were just a little too big. Our new Vizio was easy to setup and came with all the apps we normally use. There was nothing to download. The only drawback is the picture appears faded when looking at it from an angle. It’s fine for 1 or 2 people viewing it straight on but won’t work for an small group where some would have to view at an angle. In every other way we are happy with this set.

Great Quality picture
This is the first 32-inch TV, I have purchased for a bedroom. The TV has secure, attachable feet and the entire TV is almost weightless. It sits perfectly on top of my dresser and is easy to move around for cleaning & dusting.

Good buy for the price
Bought this to replace a Vizio purchased in 2009. Picture quality controls are a bit wonky, still trying to get a clearer and color balanced picture. The auto options aren’t great. Hoping the ‘net will reveal some tricks. Otherwise, delivery was spot on, TV well packaged and easy to install on my existing wall mount.

It’s really nice.
Easy to use, in my workout room for me and my treadmill. Quality entertainment. Need internet for functioning. I love it. I don’t want some great big thing. This works perfectly for me. My exercise room isn’t very big so I don’t want a mega picture. I have it on a pullout shelf. No need for wall mount. Picture and sound and features are excellent.

Why the heck does it update continually….
This item would update and not start after three 15 minute updates (yes I was stupidly patient) I gave up and tried texting the number for customer service. A text came back they had closed but then another text came up and apologized for my problems – still no response to how to fix it – so then a link came up – I read it and no help. So guess what? Boxed it back up after having it no more than 4 hours and it’s going back – maybe it is just the 24 inch that is the issue – there is a piece of paper to show set up but nothing like a small manual came with the TV. Come on Vizio – you can do better than this!!

No instructions, hard to figure out how to operate.
Picture is great, sound varies a lot from one channel to another. The remote doesn’t have numbers so have to go though each channel to get to the one wanted.

The Best 1080p TV You Can Buy
Vizio got their hands on some fantastic panels, and they didn’t screw it up! This is truly an amazing picture quality, especially for this price. This panel is the pinnacle of 1080p screens, with such a remarkably crisp picture. The Full Array LED even allows for the most impressive HDR I’ve seen outside of an OLED screen. If you want it any bigger than this you’re going to want 4K.If you’re good with the size, this is such an amazing deal!

Code improvements are making a difference
The processor is not something publicized in the USA. Europe states the processor in TV’s in some models. This thing is SLOW in every aspect of use. Menus/Remote every aspect of is slow. I purchased the latest and greatest. There are MULTIPLE models and no published list. I have the 2023 model. Spend a little money on a processor and memory and get in the 21st century. Stop pushing out cheap TV’s and make a small TV that works. I went away this summer I wish I had of returned this. I have an older LG in my living room 60 inch and it works as advertised.I spent 3 months looking for a faster smaller TV for my bedroom. Oh and when I mounted it to a “Standards based” small wall TV mount you could not get to the HDMI ports. Guess they want you to purchase their mount? Bad buy. I rarely get caught. This time I failed myself. UPDATE: October 12th, 2023. A new code update has helped changing channels for over the air TV. This was my main issue with the TV. Wi-Fi works fine I have good Wifi in my home. I will test for a few weeks before I change my opinion.

VIZIO 32-inch D-Series Full HD 1080p TV is a great Buy!
We replaced a 22-inch TV that was not a smart TV with this VIZIO 32-inch TV. This is wall-mounted in the bedroom and allows us to watch the news and weather before we get out of bed in the morning. We have used it at nights too. We recommend this TV for the size, weight and price.

Great TV for dorm!
This was a great TV for a dorm. We were able to put it on the dorm network without any issues. The TV picked up a few stations with rabbit ears. Plugged in a Roku and it displayed the apps just fine. Not going to win any awards or anything but for the cost it does the job.

Fine Except STB REFSW Keeps Blacking Local Out
This is my 2nd Vizio – my first one was wonderful. This one has all the things I never watch on it and I mainly just want my local cable channels where my favortie channels are. My cable company has all the bells and whistles that come with this tv. It is very temperamental and sometimes work fine turning on and off and other times I have to go back and forth between cable remote and Vizio remote to get it to come on and have to pressing different on buttons. Today however, the STB REFSW will not open up my local channels. It’s an extremely frustrating tv. I’m thinking I’ll have to buy another and it won’t be a Vizio. I stay with my cable company for my local channels and my nearly free cell service.

Almost makes it BUT
The picture is very sharp BUT the controls allow only a very narrow band of actual adjustments and there is no way to blank the screen so only the audio is active. There are a large number of apps loaded BUT you can’t arrange or remove them. And the remote has pre assigned buttons that can not be reprogrammed nor are there extras you could program with your favorites. It has an instant on option BUT exiting one app and selecting another is very time consuming as you get a blank screen for an unusually long time. There are free apps BUT they are supported by commercials inserted very regularly. And while it is strictly a personal preference, the main buttons on the remote are located in the lower half instead of the top where most other remotes configure theirs.

Great quality for the price
This television is great. Purchased it for my second bedroom. The size was perfect for the room. It is table mounted. I purchased a Roku stick with the television. I finally cut the cord and have been very happy with my decision. The Smart TV made setup very easy. Once you get the TV on your home wi-fi you are ready to watch. The process of setting the streaming services took about 20 minutes (passwords and such). The resolution is excellent. I had an earlier Vizio which was grainy.

Excellant little tv!
The perfect tv for the space, it was simple to set up and came ready with all the apps we’re used to on a Vizio! The legs looked sketchy but it handles being wobbled by a stray butt bump very well. Big recommendation of you want a simple smart tv!

Great TV! But…
Got my tv in perfect condition and set up was quick and easy. All the apps worked, but the free tv channels…I don’t know if it was my Wi-Fi, but it lagged so hard that I didn’t have patience to use it, so I stick to Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, Spotify on/and Chromecast or whatever app/else like the free movies.Do not buy for the free tv channels unless you have super speed Wi-Fi that can accommodate it, haha. But… The speakers on the TV aren’t that great, very quiet or too loud, no boom very basic. I bought an EDUPLINK M8 speaker and connected for better quality sound, keep it on my bed. Glitched a bit, had to re-plug it a few times, now it’s okay.

Good picture, but has a lag
The picture is good and setup was easy, but there is a pretty long lag between when we hit the power button and when the tv turns on. There is also a lesser lag when trying to scroll the menu, but not as bad as turning it on.

Beyond expectations
We bought a 32″ Vizio due to space limitations in my bedroom. Installation on wall rack, wifi connection and other hookup features were handy and and user friendly. We pay monthly a monthly subscription for Amazon and Netflix and together with all the free channels available on this set we have all the channels we can use. The remote and smart features flow smoothly from one app to another. Picture and sound quality are great — much better than the Samsung that we used to have. Small disadvantage: my wife and I are 75, so there was a learning curve for us with channel selection as the remote does not have a numbers pad; however, after using it for about a week, it was easy to figure out. We have had this tv for a month and have had nothing but a superb experience. I do not know about longevity — our Samsung lasted for 10 years before some of the pixels went out and we could no longer watch it. I hope this tv lasts as long. Choosing this tv, you cannot beat the price so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Ira Karet from NC.

Picture is good. User interface so-so
The picture is great. Full HD was worth it over cheaper 720p options. I found the Vizio user interface to be not great. A little challenging to navigate and very cluttered. It’s also buggy and apps would crash. The fix? An AppleTV box. So I basically turned this into a “dumb-tv” (disconnected the wifi) and plugged in the Apple box and now it’s perfect.

Solid value
The TV has a great picture. The sound is horrible. It reminds me of when we were children and played telephone with two cans and a piece of string. Overall, it’s a great TV, but you NEED an external set of speakers.

Disappointed
This TV was purchased to replace a non-smart TV in the kitchen. The sound was disappointing so I added a small sound bar which made it tolerable. The other problem is that, because it’s in the kitchen, and I’m viewing from different angles, the picture faded unless you’re looking head-on. Rather than returning it, it was sent to the guest room to replace a non-smart TV. I then purchased an LG which advertises a wide viewing angle. The sound was better (I’m still using the sound bar), but the best thing is that the viewing angle is great. So – if you’re not into great sound and you’re viewing straight on then this Vizio would work for you.

Vizio 24 inch with bluetooth
Well what do I like first Picture quality. That’s about it. Software I hate, it’s glitchy, guide is glitchy seems to update every minute or so. Always asking to connect to internet I disabled it because default when turning it on is Smartcast. Loading the installed apps is very slow. My previous 24′ 2007 Vizio apps loaded slow also, no improvement there. Channel selection can only be accessed from on-screen display no numbers on remote. Once you select your channel it seems to lock up and I have to push volume button to continue with anything. Bluetooth connects easily but all audio functions are disabled except for volume control I may be doing something wrong I’m not sure. It is stereo. It does have a decent tuner digital channels are stable. Once channel scanning starts there’s no stopping it. Will I return it? I don’t know yet. Hooked up to Firecube and OTA it serving its purpose. For $139 and free shipping. OK

Great TV for the price (with a couple provisos)
Is exactly what it claims to be and does a good job being a bedroom tv. Has tons of apps. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars ⭐️ is…1) It absolutely needs a sound bar. The sound from the tv is way too low even on 100 in my tiny bedroom. As soon as my AC kicks on I’m missing half of what is being said on screen (my AC is not THAT loud and my previous not smart Vizio tv had no trouble being loud enough). 2) When you switch from one app to another or switch to just about anything it is way too laggy. My 2010 computer moves faster 😆. That being said, I still find it an excellent buy and it perfectly does what I needed it to do. Now I am off to find a decent sound bar 😁.

Don’t buy it to watch free TV
Picked this up to replace a broken TV. My use of it is Airplay for PhiGolf, and a Nintendo Switch.Picture is good. I have it hooked up to a sound system and am very happy with it.Tried out the TV channels, free and apps and the experience was horrible. Hit Free Live TV and it put me into a show that I had no interest in and I was unable to find a program guide. Eventually I found it but I have no idea how. It was very laggy. Reminds me of my cable box when you press up or down on the guide and it takes a full second to respond. Very frustrating to try to navigate so I’ll stay away from there and just use it for gaming and maybe hook my cable box directly to it. The built in stuff is just too slow.

Acceptable for the money, but not really good.
I was looking for a second TV/monitor for my desk since my main display only uses Thunderbolt and won’t work with the HDMI on my switch and Apple TV. My only goals were really 1080p(max Switch output) and built in speakers to reduce desk clutter. Yes, this has both of those, but neither are really good. The display looks acceptable straight on. The colors and contrast are a little off but a majority of people won’t notice that. Look at the TV from any angle other than straight, and the screen instantly becomes washed out and quite the unpleasant sight. Also, the resolution means some text may look fuzzy. I knew this when I bought the TV, but keep it in mind, especially if you’ll be sitting close to the TV.The speakers sound like tin cans. I seriously can’t say anything good about them. The bass is incredibly lacking, the treble is weak, the volume likely won’t fill your room, and the whole thing sounds mono. Unless you’re watching the weather channel all day or something, just get a soundbar or other external speaker. While I had no intention of using the built in operating system, I tried it out for a bit for the sake of the review. Most apps you’ll want are there, and ready to download. VIZIO also loads their own Free TV service to use as well, which works well. Navigating the UI could be easy, but man it’s super laggy and slow. Everything is placed well and easy to find, but watching the cursor move once every few seconds is a pain.If you need a 24 inch TV this works, and is probably your best option, but you might want to consider bumping up to at least 32 inches so you can have access to higher end options.

Works well as monitor and basic streaming.
Used for: 2 months.PRO: Pricepoint.Remote has voice recognition that is quite useful for navigation.Chromecast works.Streams youtube and peacock well.CONS: Viewing angle is a bit narrow. No built in browser. No support for external input devices such as mouse.Navigation via remote unit is awkward and requires too many clicks. Built in voice control helps.Does not return to last source streamed. If turned off while using youtube the unit returns to the streaming mode when turned on but not to the source you were streaming.Stand does not swivel or tilt.

Great TV with ChromeCast and ApplePlay built in
Thirds times a charm. I have ordered three tvs now from Amazon. The first wouldn’t connect to the internet, the second had glitches in the screen, plus UPS charged me to send it back in the box it came in. Need to take that up with Amazon I guess. But this TV is really lovely. Very sleek looking and feels like quality. The TCL I tried felt like chinzy plastic crap. This Vizio was easy to set up and get my Prime Video hooked in no problem. Also worked using Chromecast from my PC and Apple Play from my phone. I wanted to be able to play exercise videos from my Silversneakers account. This is also the perfect size for my guesthouse. Plus it has a great picture. Sound could be louder. But I will try pairing my Sonos speaker with it. I am super pleased with this purchase.

Great For Truck Drivers!
I bought this tv because my 2024 Freightliner Cascadia came with a tv mount and cable antenna, and this tv fits perfectly on the stock bracket! I bought tv mounting screws separately, and it has survived being on the road very well. It’s also really nice that this tv has an A/V Antenna port so I can use the truck’s antenna to watch cable tv. Otherwise, this tv is perfect for streaming from a phone’s personal hotspot, using an HDMI adapter to connect your phone directly, stream from a laptop, or play video games. This tv is very energy efficient as well, which is very important for being in a truck and powering it off the truck’s battery’s.The picture quality is also really good, and even though it’s 1080P it still has crystal clear quality. The tv also comes with a ton of apps that you can access, and it has Vizio Watch Free+.I would highly recommend this tv to other truck drivers due to it being light weight (about 6 lbs.), cable hookup, energy efficiency, and good quality. This also applies to RV’s as well.

Great TV for the $$$
Great TV for the $$$ -Bought this for spare room where I have a shop. Picture is good, sound is OK, (may add a sound bar) supports lots of streaming apps and has lots of channel content. The only shortcoming – it will not connect to a network share like my Samsung TVs. It’s not a deal breaker, but if I’d thought this Smart TV would not – I probably would have kept shopping. Still, for the money, it’s a very good TV.

I have to fess the clarity and color even defeats my 4 year old, $2K, Sony 50″ in my living room! Very impressive, set it up on my Comcast Network in just a few minutes and the Smart TV did its job! So far, so good
I was looking for a Smart TV to fit a small opening in my kitchen. Found this TV during Prime Day and this 24” fits perfectly. You will need an HDMI cord to connect to certain devices. I had extras so it wasn’t a problem for me, but definitely add that to your cart if needed. Some complained about the volume being low. After fiddling with the volume settings, I found that if the audio isn’t already set to Virtual X surround sound and volume leveling is set to off, turn it on and the volume increases significantly. The TV has great color under the bright setting. The best part is the microphone on the remote. Makes using the Smart system a breeze.Great value for the money.

Diamond in the Rough
These features at this price, we are at a very good point for technology. Great picture, decent sound (when Volume Leveling is enabled in the sound settings). And, it actually IS an HDR TV! (However), i tried multiple things to enable HDR on my PC, adding a registry setting to enable HDR, something that can happen when upgrading to Win10, look it up for more info. Going through the TVs settings. Nothing seemed to work.. but then i had a thought, try a different HDMI cable. DING DING! Even though i was using a Vizio branded HDMI cable which should have allowed HDR, switching cables immediately allowed HDR to be selectable. If you have trouble with HDR your HDMI cable may be the cause. (HDR works with the Vizio branded HDMI btw after initially being enabled by switching cables)Regarding picture and HDR.Firstly, you SHOULD lower the Backlight to at least 50%, between 50 and 75% will do. Mostly because its way too bright, but also because lowering it will lengthen the lifespan of the LEDs compared to always being at 100%. And yes, BACKLIGHT, Not the Normal Brightness, that should be left alone and kept at 50, so only lower the Backlight.Secondly, HDR. When its turned on using a PC things can get EXTREMELYYYY BRIGHTTTT! Especially White! As my 1st experience with HDR i had no idea what to expect, So you will definitely want to lower its effect either through Windows HDR settings or through the TVs specific HDR setting, which i suggest doing.Games look AMAZING on this TV (picture settings should be changed to suit your needs), but everything looks great including Netflix etc. But games along with HDR and the TVs Game Mode and Low Latency mode is where it truly shines i think. And thats about it.. The only thing i dont like about this TV is it doesnt have an ethernet port, but WIFI 5 does just fine, but being able to use 1 or the other as a backup would have been nice.. Obviously a decent Router/Connection will help with this.Last Update: Regarding what i said about Sound still applies WITH Sound Leveling enabled, BUT as the TV allows connecting to Bluetooth Headphones AND Speakers that is the definitive way to go if you require better sound quality. The headphone jack also allows you to use an Aux cable with a bluetooth speaker which i highly recommend, WIRED audio quality will ALWAYS be better than Wireless/Bluetooth and its actually what i use when i gave both a try.Another Last update: Alexa usage, I grouped the TV with my office lighting so that when i say office on both the tv and the light turn on, same for saying office off, when im going out or going to bed they both turn off at the same time. I find this very handy instead of having to use the remote to do so, especially if in a hurry. And a bit of advice that EVERYONE can use whether buying this tv or not. As with most electronics it is BEST and recommended to use a decent Surge Protector to protect your electronics. Protecting our expensive toys is always a good thing to do.Another Update: Power usage, Normal PC/Built in Smart App usage you are looking at about 20watts, with the TV off (depending on settings, i.e Alexa control enabled etc, its around 10watts, you can turn those settings off to further reduce draw while Off if you so choose. So its very capable when it comes to using it with backup power or even a 150w Inverter and a 20V battery (Craftsman) for example as i tested earlier to gauge power usage.Latest update: Now using a 120W 2.0 Sound Bar with an Optical cable connected to the TVs optical port, cant beat a $40 ONN Walmart sound bar on clearance for $17, bought 2 as i knew they would sell quickly :). Definitely better than using an Aux splitter to connect 2 Bluetooth speakers for “stereo” sound, though they did do the job very nicely. Anything is better than the TVs speakers though, but even the TVs speakers can sound decent if set up the way i previously mentioned, this probably applies to similar Vizio TVs as well assuming they have the same sound settings.Hope this helps <3

Terrible panel in this model, color is off even if adjusted.
Pros:Sound is adequate.Works with ROKU.Other that that NONE.Cons:No mater how I adjust the color settings, including calibrating, the colors are way off, gray is light purple, white is even lighter purple, when set to warm everything is orange and green. Calibration is a royal pain the posterior, and is useless anyway as it only makes the colors worse. The picture for video is grainy and blurred at the same time, cloudy looking like having cataracts in your eyes, even with a ROKU.The remote is sparse, and the only shortcut buttons are for PAID services, also the home button takes you to a page of PAID movies and services not to the apps you chose to install which are buried in a side menu only accessible by pressing the left side of the D-Pad/Navigation Ring. The GUI is nothing but ads for PAID services at the top of everything making getting to the content you want tedious and messy.I tried all settings and calibrations to no avail all colors remained incorrect! The screen also looks washed out, blurred, and foggy, as well as being pixilated and grainy like a bad CRT TV from the 1980s.Absolutely useless as a PC monitor all text is illegible no matter what settings are in use.Whatever panel Vizio is using in these models it is totally inferior to the older models. I have an older model: D24F-F1 and it has a far superior panel in it than this new model, color is also correct and all text is just as good as it is on my monitor.Vizio also changed the location of the VESA mounting holes moving them 2 inches higher towards the top of the screen making it a mismatch on a dual screen stand, a major deal breaker for me.The selection of so called FREE viewing is pathetic and most of the apps available in the GUI are paid subscriptions only. Conclusion:This is the third brand of newer TV I’ve purchased in a months time, and all have been thoroughly disappointing! I will be returning this one as well and will probably go with a decent monitor of the same size and use an HDMI Hub to switch between a ROKU and a PC.

Awesome TV
Can’t be beat, I mean a price more like $120 would’ve been nice. This thing brings the FREE TV packed inwas watching their animal channel and it’s pretty goodThe TV looks great, and modern, wish it were thinner.Roku built in so I can get spectrum and get rid of cable box.The remote is nice, Vizio makes some nice stuffIssues I’ve experienced: LAGis freezes, lags in the menus, the free tv doesn’t keep record of what your watchingno come back to watch on that even if on demand, fast forward n you’ll be in commercialsso make sure to watch the whole movie in that sit in or your screwed, but not bad selection of movies. Not sure what makes it freeze or lag the way it does, but thats just in the menus, not watching tv

If only it had a speaker
This came with no instructions at all. Trying to read the pdf manual online for each little problem soon caused me to have an attack of “Old Man Nerves”. It was lucky that at the moment I was going to box this TV up and return it that I discovered a whole community of users and was able to get info needed to set up.. I stole a HDMI cable from my PS3 and found the port on my cable box. As I turned the TV on for the too manyth time My favorite sport and my nearby team was playing. Aside from the lack of info on set up the only problem seems to be a speaker that belongs in an old boom box. The sound is very faint and tinny I am still not sure if four or three stars is more honest but give them the benefit. 4 stars

Kitchen Counter TV
There are not a lot of options for a kitchen counter TVs 24 inches or less. This is a good TV, and I think the best of the lot. However, it is not a great TV — not as good as a new 55 inch QLED Samsung for example. I just received this TV and set it up on my kitchen counter. Here are some hints from that experience. The set went through a lengthy software update and registration process. Be patient. I reduced the backlight to 50% as one other commenter recommended. I did not notice any diminishment of picture quality. The sound quality is poor, so I was able to connect a bluetooth speaker by going to “Settings” in the bottom left hand corner of the menu, clicking on “Bluetooth Headphones” and pairing with my speaker. The voice and picture don’t sync perfectly, so I am going to trying to find another speaker with a phono plug to attach through the headphones jack to see if that is better. It took me a while to figure out how to organize the streaming apps. Go the “Extras” — below “Settings” — click on “Apps + Inputs Row” then on “Re-Sort App Icons” and this will allow you to organize (and delete) apps for easier use. All the apps I use were easily installed in the setup process. My last kitchen counter TV lasted more than 20 years, and still works, but it was time for a change. I do not expect this TV to last that long. I hope I will. Time will tell.
