Neat device
I like this, but not totally in love with it. The light isn’t super bright, so it doesn’t make a big impact unless you’re in a dark place. It does connect to BT easily which is good. It’s just an interesting unit, I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use this compared to a clip light and a stand

Camera Grip Enhanced Selfies, Affordable Value
The PH-14 Smartphone Camera Shutter Handle Grip is a handy tool for capturing selfies and photos with ease. While the included clicker is a nice touch, it was disappointing that it didn’t come with a tripod as expected. Nonetheless, the grip feels comfortable to hold and enhances photo quality. Holds my phone pretty well also. For the price its a good.

Great grip, OK light.
The UURIG PH-14 Smartphone Handle Grip went right to work as soon as I opened it.Even before charging and pairing the Bluetooth shutter release I used the grip to hold my cellphone for some awkward angle photos. The grip holds the phone securely and while not a perfect size for larger hands it expands the usefulness of the phone camera greatly. For my Android phone I changed the bottom buttons to swipe function to avoid accidentally touching with my thumb and palm. iOS phone was fine as is.Once charged (USB C!) the shutter paired very easily to both my android and iOS phones. I really like the magnetic hold of the shutter button. Using off camera is great for selfie group shots or any remote placement shots. Response time is good although any Bluetooth device will have a potential slight delay. There is no on/off button, it just goes to standby and gets reconnected by pressing and holding a few times. The fill light button is on the main grip housing at the top near the shutter release button. As mentioned the grip size is not very large but allows for fitment into a cargo pocket or bag.The fill light is just that, fill. Any sized hand will partially obstruct the light but on a tripod or table top 1/4″20 mount it will do a decent job at close proximity. The cold shoe is very handy and the grip overall provides a stable means to hold a mid size microphone for instance. This grip has a good feel to it material wise, doesn’t feel cheap in spite of it’s price.Bottom line: I love this grip and find myself using it almost daily when I don’t need my larger Small Rig gear.

Very Nice Product with Real Camera like Functionality
This review is for the UURIG PH-14 Phone Tripod Mount with Adjustable Fill Light, Smartphone Camera Grip Handle. This product will add a camera grip to your phone so you can take better photos. The product has a fill light adjustable from 30% to 100%. It also includes a shutter button similar to a real camera position. The shutter is removable, being held on by a strong magnet. It has a cold shoe, and a standard tripod 1/4 ” mount. The first photo renders the contents of the package. The second photo is a shot without fill light in the dark with only my computer monitor on. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and it practically can take pictures in the dark. Notice the shadow! The next photo is with 30% fill light on. It looks very good. I took two more photos, but the fill light was too harsh and overly bright that close. It would be better if taking a portrait at a proper distance.I have to say I struggled a bit until I found the proper camera settings in my app. At first, pressing the shutter button just made my camera zoom. Setting the app to use volume buttons solved this and now the shutter button will snap a photo properly. Pairs to Bluetooth with no problems.Over all I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it. It will add some heft to your phone, but not as heavy as a real camera would be. It fit my Galaxy S9+ with a case on it with no problems. It may or may not fit some of these newer mega phones out there. Read the specs and make sure before purchasing.Works as advertised, Meets my expectations. Useful product for photography with a cell phone. 5 STARS

Novice to semi-pro, it does it all!
Whether you are just a novice figuring out how to get a good selfie, progressing to an experienced photographer/videographer learning how to set-up different shots. This is FOR you! The grip is ev-er-y-thang! It makes holding large phones (iPhone 14) so much easier; heck it can even be used as a stand itself, and the remote control? Perfect. Seamlessly paired with my iPhone and comes in handy when you want to effortlessly capture shot(s) with the aid of a tripod using the screw fitting located on the bottom. The best thing though? The cold shoe mount. Here is where you go from novice to semi-pro. You can attach lighting/audio accessories which makes this such a great tool! This will be one of my most used items in my kit from now on. The only con I would give would be the light–which even though it has 3 different settings, I would say it’s a bit harsh (my opinion) and only should be used as a flashlight really. I did NOT subtract a star though because my opinion on lighting is subjective and of course if you use filters or already alter photos this would then be a non-issue. Plus, the cold shoe mount more than makes up for what would be my only dissatisfaction (I plan to attach my own ring light).

This is a GAMECHANGER if you want to do ONE-HANDED SHOOTING
I shoot a lot on my phone. I’ve also always been a minimalist with any phone accessories – I never use any. And, I always grumble and curse every time I take several bad shots in a row because I’m holding the phone one-handed, trying to stretch my thumb over to hit the on screen shutter button, and miss or shake or tap a setting instead. If any of this sounds like you, get this thing.PROS:Easy to hold AND shoot one-handedVery strong clamping grip to secure phoneNice rubberized padding to protect phoneMulti-brightness light is very handyRemote paired instantly, worked instantlyCONS:My only complaint is that you can’t do a single plug in to device to charge both the fill light and the remote control. Each has its own usb-c port for charging. If you ever have them separated indefinitely, I guess it’s nice to be able to charge the remote by itself. But it would be preferred to have some sort of electronic power management to have them both receive a charge with a single cable. To be clear, this is a very minor issue.VERDICT:It’s real good, I like it a lot.

Does NOT make clear it does NOT include tripod for which I bought it. Works well but …
Can’t use this as it was specifically bought for tripod. It was NOT clear from advertising that TRIPOD was NOT included. Can’t use it without one. So off to get that. I did however put it together and try it with my iPhone and it works well. Light works well – press hard on, then press brightens, press again brightens a third time. I note that you can’t tell from pictures on the box if the detachable Bluetooth remote is included but it is and it works well. Tldr; good device, bad advertising. Holds iPhone nice and tight and feels solidly made.

Excellent Smartphone Camera Grip with Light
This is a very cool smartphone camera grip with a pretty good light. The liggt has 3 levels of intensity and I was really quite surprised how well it works to add soft diffused light to your shot. The part that grips onto your phone is very soft rubber and the whole back of it is rubber as well to make sure your phone dosnt get scuffed. Another cool feature of this camera grip is that the shutter button is detachable so you can mount your phone and the grip on the tripod and hold the shutter button in your hand for remote shots. I’m very happy with the build quality and features of this grip. You won’t go wrong with this unit.

Worth the price for the light and tripod mount alone.
If you do any work for social media and need a compact easy to use light this one will work great. It clamps to your phone and provides a grip handle reminiscent of an DSLR camera. It has three brightness levels and clamps firmly to my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Add that to the ability to link this to your phone by Bluetooth and push the button on the light to take pictures is great. You can also mount this to a tripod for additional flexibility.

Handy Photo Grip
I used this on a recent vacation to take selfies – it’s a lot easier than if you’re just holding your phone! The remote shutter worked great, although there was a learning curve to get it set up properly. Based upon the description and photos, I thought it came with a tripod, but it did not. The light isn’t very bright so I don’t think it’s a feature I will use.

Excellent photography tool
This is fantastic for my big shaky hands. This makes holding the phone and taking pictures into a much more enjoyable experience. My Galaxy S10 has one of those really silly curved-edge screens which makes it extremely awkward to hold while taking pictures, even with a regular Bluetooth button. This one has a Bluetooth button built in, right where the shutter button would be on a real professional camera. It’s such a great idea. The light is really bright, but really harsh, so I’m not sure I would use it for a lot of photography, but it makes an excellent flashlight. Overall, this would make a great gift, or just to have for yourself. Highly recommended.

Neat little phone add on for photography and video projects
If you’re a photo or video buff this is a very cool addition to the phone type shooting setup.Personally used with a iPhone 13 Pro with a thin clear case, fits fine no issues there.I do have a popsocket on my phone, even removing the actual socket the holder still causes the phone to be at a weird angle, however shouldn’t affect phones without a popsocket.Fill light is a nice touch, never know when you might need some more light on a shot. Will be keeping this in the camera bag.

Product shots are so much easier now…….
I do a lot of product pics and this handle grip is perfect.Holding the phone in one hand and trying to take a decent picture is way easier now.I especially like that it will mount to my tripod. The shutter control can detach and be used remotely from the grip. Very nice.Love this handy new tool…..

Great upgrade for my ring light
My mom gave me her ring light about a year ago, and the phone holder on it was very flimsy and actually launched my phone a few times. This one is sturdy and grips my whole phone while screwing in securely to the light. I am starting to experiment with filming cooking content, so this has upgraded my hands free filming options.

Absolutely amazing!! Love it!!
The media could not be loaded.
This grip / light / remote is amazing, and absolutely does it all! The grip is so comfortable, especially if you are used to holding a bridge or DSLR camera. It works on a spring/tension grip, similar to a lot of phone tripod mounts, and the grip fits my whole family’s phones with their cases! It has a cold shoe attachment/mount, so you can add another light or maybe even a mic. It also has a screw hole on bottom to attach it to most tripods. The light feature has three brightness settings, and is a white light, so a cooler shade and probably around a 5700k.The shutter button is a Bluetooth remote shutter, and it can be removed from the grip so you can use it for tripod mounted selfies. The Bluetooth also connects easily and stays connected/automatically connects to your phone, so it’s not like you have to go and reconnect it every time.I love this, and would highly recommend it and buy again!

It’s okay-ish for what it is
Do not be confused! This product does NOT include a small tripod for your phone and if you have a case or popsocket on your phone it’s not likely to fit well. I definitely wouldn’t trust using it to hold my iPhone 12 max unless I took the phone out of the case. The grip itself is okay but for me, it felt clunkier holding the phone with it than not having it at all.It does have a place to mount a tripod if you happen to have one already, but this is not a product I would ever use by itself or give as a gift unless I was certain the person had a tripod already. I honestly didn’t even try the adjustable fill light and remote control on the camera because, without the tripod, those things are just not necessary (for my intended purpose).

Believe the hype
I’ve become addicted to this lil gimbal-type thingy. It really does make my phone shots look better, believe it or not. And, when I’m taking video it makes it considerably less shaky. This is by no means a “snake oil” product. There’s real value here and I can attest to that.

Good grip for your phone
I recently ordered some lenses for my iphone so I wanted to have a more comfortable grip on my phone when taking pictures. This grip feels good in the hand and I do feel like it’ll help take better pictures. It holds the phone well and doesn’t feel like it would fall out, so it’s secure. The light is super bright, probably brighter than my future, but i don’t see myself using it much. Nice addition though, i’m sure someone will get use out of it. I noticed that there is a PH-10 grip as well that has 2 extra button for zooming in and our but that didn’t seem to work according to video reviews i saw. This grip only has the shutter button and the light button. The shutter feels good and there’s no lag when pressing it, always good in my opinion. It does have a thread for a tripod, no where does it say it is a tripod like another reviewer mentioned. It also has a cold shoe if you wanted to add a mic or another light to the grip. Oh and it doubles as a stand too! whether it’s horizontally or vertically, it hold your phone well without shaking or moving. Very happy with the grip and being able to charge the detachable shutter is awesome! No need to buy batteries and replace them. Would recommend!

Hoping It Helps To Start My Video Channel
Got this through the Vine Program to test and review. As I am trying to start a woodworking channel it was a a convenient way to test this phone holder and to improve the quality of my videos. Because of other items that I need to add to my phone to record better I had to remove the case I had on my phone but when I first got this holder I was able to fit it over my heavy case without much difficulty, and I have a Galaxy S22+ so its a big phone. Made from pretty decent feeling materials and feels pretty solid in your hand. It is made of plastic and a rubber feeling material but doesn’t feel cheap. It seems to hold a charge pretty well though I am not sure what the battery life will be in total. It does a good job brightening up my video shots and I’ll be using it for as long as I am using my phone for video or it wears out. Also the Bluetooth remote works very well.Good Product

Fun. A conversation starter. Functional.
This one is fun. Does what it is supposed to do and is a bit of a conversation starter in the process. Not a gimbal or anything fancy, just a way to hold it more like a camera and take multiple pictures in the most non awkward of ways.Big fan. Using it a lot.

It works
I went on a 2 week trip and planned to take a lot of pictures with my iPhone 12 pro. Normally I just use my pop socket to brace my phone in my hand but thought it would be nice to have a more ergonomic grip to hopefully have a more steady hand. Overall, this does the job and does hold my phone securely (with the popsocket removed). I never really worried about my phone falling out as the rubber padded grips do grip really well. The remote does work after you pair it to bluetooth and it did actually make it easier/smoother to take multiple pictures in rapid succession. However, my biggest complaint is that it disconnects from bluetooth very quickly. I guess it’s for battery saving purposes, but my goodness, it was a real pain to deal with ESPECIALLY when there’s something you want to capture quickly. It seems like it disconnects from bluetooth within 1-2 minutes of locking your phone. When you unlock, it takes entirely too long to re-establish a bluetooth connection. It got to the point where I honestly stopped using it all together because it became very annoying to deal with. Like I said, it DOES work well when you have an established connection so for intermittent photos, it’s a good buy. But if you’re planning to be taking pictures all day, it can get quite frustrating. As far as the light goes, it’s a nice feature on paper but in practice it’s just “meh.” You can at least adjust the brightness, but there’s only one color temperature which is not very helpful. There is a cold shoe mount available so you could add your own fill light, but I can’t really comment on that feature as I haven’t used it yet.Overall, it works and does what it says. I will probably still use it, but not as much as I had hoped given the bluetooth connectivity issue.

INGENIOUS LITTLE THING…
So I’m in need of a remote operated camera that doesn’t require me to get up and down 100 times for 10 seconds of footage. Think stop motion. I was going to splurge and get some dedicated setup with professional equipment, but after thinking about the quality of phone cameras these days I started doing some research on options. And here we are. Firstly, this rig is MANY MANY times less expensive, and tucks away nicely, even thoughtfully including a small tripod for stability and contiguous shots. It looks GREAT, and I haven’t had a single “dud” shot, fingers crossed but this thing is looking VERY reliable. It holds my camera, even with its fatter than usual case, nice and snug without risking any damage. Included, and this is key for me, is a DETACHABLE MAGNETIC TRIGGER. You can station your tripod setup to your hearts content and not have to walk over again and again to readjust. Just push the button and your phone will snap what it’s aiming at, ready and waiting for the next shot. I’ve heard some complaints about the magnetic button coming off, but that’s EXACTLY the point, and what makes it so perfect for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Works as advertised, but doesn’t add much
This product does what it says it will do. However, smartphone cameras have gotten so advanced in the last few years that it really isn’t necessary. Adding extra light and steadiness doesn’t do anything for the picture that the iPhone wouldn’t already do itself. I actually only ordered this product because it looked like the tripod came with it in some of the advertisement pictures. This product does not include a tripod or camera stand. It’s just a camera grip. Not terribly useful to me overall, despite being a functional product.

Not Thrilled with the Light but Love the Rest of It
This UURIG PH-14 phone mount holds my cell phone very securely. The ergonomic grip is comfortable. The remote was quick and easy to sync up with my phone. The comfortable grip combined with the remote shutter button makes this a huge improvement in taking one handed photos versus just holding the phone alone. I give this feature 5 stars. The light only gets 2 stars. It is not very bright. If you think you could use this at night to take arm length selfies you would be mistaken. It does not put out enough light for that. It is only good for illuminating objects that are close to the camera. It works okay for that. I took a couple of pictures, one with the light off and one with it on, of a fishing lure that is backlit by a sunrise. You can see the lure colors do pop a little better when the light is on. There is a cold shoe mount if you want to add another light (or microphone). The grip on this phone mount is designed for right-handed people. You could use it in your left hand, but the remote button and cold shoe mount would be on the bottom.
