Awesome Mug for a Busy Mom!

This mug is a mom’s dream come true! it looks like a regular mug but keeps your coffee warm which is basically impossible with two boys running around my house. Here are my thoughts after my first couple of uses:The Mug: At first, it seemed a tiny bit heavy coming out of the box, but I love how comfortable it is when I am drinking my coffee. The color is gorgeous, and it feels very high quality. Quick heads up, It’s a hand wash deal, but trust me, that extra minute is totally worth it.Set-Up: The manual that comes with the mug was helpful, but really the mug is simple to use. You press one button to control everything. I love the little icons on the mug that show you what temperature you’re drinking at.Heating: I was sold the moment this thing took room temperature coffee and brought it back to deliciously warm. It works super well, and I like that on the coaster it keeps your coffee warm however long you’re drinking it. It also turns itself off automatically, which is necessary in my household. If you’re a busy mom who is desperate for a hot cup of coffee, get yourself a Thermacup ASAP!

    Thermacup is the Real MVP!

Alright, listen up, my easily-distracted pals—this mug is a total game-changer. Just hit a button, and boom! Your drink stays perfectly warm, no matter how sidetracked you get. I no longer need to microwave my coffee a million times to finish it. Seriously though, the mug is easy to use, and the battery life is legit. I’ve used it both on its charging coaster and off, with zero issues and perfectly warmed coffee.

3.75 Stars – Like but would love with some tweaks

I want to give this four stars (which I technically did I guess), but I can’t get over the fact that the charging base is not waterproof. Really the cup should be too. I understand that the cup can’t be put in the dishwasher or microwave, but at the very least the base should be splash proof. Ideally you want to keep it in the kitchen and/or in a drink area. After dropping $100, you don’t want to have to worry about the charger getting splashed and have to obsessively check the bottom of your cup before putting it on the base every time. Most likely, you will have to constantly charge the cup after every use – at least every time you have a cup of something you want to keep hot over the course of, say, an hour. That means, back to the base every time – or if you’re not fully charged, during the drinking of your cup. This may be a nitpick to some, but I expect a lot from a hundred dollar+ cup. At first I thought the cup was plastic, but it is some kind of very tight-pored ceramic, probably with a coating. Call me paranoid, but I’m suspicious of coatings (health-wise). There’s no info about that either way. It seems to attract stains or any solids in the liquid like a magnet, so I find myself wiping it down more than a regular cup. Will have to see how that goes over time. Now for the positives: At first, I was disappointed when I saw how shallow the cup was. It turns out it’s big enough for a full cup plus a good amount of cream/milk, so no complaints there – especially since this is the small version. Do I think they should make their large the small and make a bigger large? For the price, definitely. As for the ability to keep a drink warm/hot, i.e., the main reason anyone would think of dropping this much on a cup, I’ve been impressed so far. It kept my coffee very hot for about an hour (that’s with going from high, to medium over the course of the hour) without the lid, after which the lowest battery indicator blinked to an end. If it didn’t work without a lid, I would just use my thermos, as there would be very little functional difference, but it did. I did think it would last much longer on a full charge though. Again, for the price, they should put more powerful batteries in these. Speaking of batteries, it appears there is no way to change the batteries, so I assume once this starts losing juice, that’s the beginning of the end. All things being equal, it should last many years, but who knows..? We’re asked to take the same jump into the unknown with headphones and many other consumer electronics, so we either demand more replaceable batteries, or accept the planned obsolescence, as we seem to be doing. Stepping down from the soapbox, all in all, it’s a cute, relatively useful device that should have been invented a long time ago. Funnily enough, right before I saw this listing, I had just watched the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry has someone build this very thing for his “spite” coffee shop. In the final analysis, I can live with the negatives as long as nothing degrades quickly or fails prematurely. If the former or the latter happens, I will update this review. – Cheers

👋 So long, mug warmer & Yeti mug! This thing is a game-changer! ⭐️

Got this mug as an early Christmas gift to myself, and I’m officially obsessed. It far surpasses what I was expecting! It keeps my coffee (not just the bottom) fully warm for the morning while I work, without having to use the lid (which seems really well made). This is a game-changer for me because, while I love my Yeti mug, I don’t love the feeling of the lid while I’m drinking. I’ve also had a mug warmer in the past, but it didn’t warm my drink uniformly like the Thermacup does. This is WAY better. Also used it for tea last night, and the medium heat setting was perfect for me.I did my initial charge-up when I got the mug, and it seems to hold a charge well. I used it mostly on its coaster since I’m typically sitting in one spot while using. The whole mug feels high quality. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend. Will update if anything changes!

Game changer for this coffee / tea drinker

While not a frequent reviewer, I felt compelled to share my experience with the Thermacup. When I am busy in the morning, my coffee or tea would go cold before I finished them. Thermacup exceeded expectations, maintaining a warm temperature the entire time I was drinking. It’s been a long while since I have enjoyed the last sip of my drink as much as the first.-Setting up the cup was so easy. I scanned the QR code on the manual as I despise reading directions. Per the recommendation, I did a charge for about an hour, and then tried out the mug immediately. Actual use, and the settings are very intuitive.-It comes with warnings not to dishwash or microwave it, so it needs to be handwashed, but that isn’t terribly hard.-The mug has a solid feel and is comfortable to hold. My battery lasted well over the 60 min mark on the medium setting. If that isn’t long enough, the coaster is an easy solution.I’m 100% satisfied. One of my best recent purchases. Highly recommended.

    Modern hot plate

In the box you’ll find the cup, a charging base, power adapter/cord, lid, an extra lid seal, and a user guide (the white silicon band is part of the protective packaging and should be discarded). The first thing that stood-out to me was the weight of the mug. The battery, heat element and other electronics add a substantial amount of weight compared to a regular coffee mug. For that reason, it’s not ideal for someone elderly or arthritic, etc…Thermacup has essentially taken the old-school hot plate and moved it into the cup itself. The bottom inch (+/-) of the cup contains the tech (battery, heat element, etc…), and a 14oz container sits above. The mug looks like it could easily accommodate 20oz’s, but it only holds about 12oz (14oz if you fill it to the rim). It is easy to operate. A single button powers it on/off and changes the temperature setting (low/med/high). Four green LED’s above the multi-function button indicate the battery level and charging status, while 3 white LED’s below the logo indicate the temperature setting. The overall quality is good. It appears well made and the fit and finish is excellent. I’m not sure what type of material it is made from, but it appears to be some type of high quality composite material (maybe a type of plastic). The battery is slow to charge and it’s life expectancy will very depending on the temp setting and whether you are using the lid or not, but it’s not very long, 2-3 hours at most on a full charge. This is certainly not a travel mug as the battery life is too short and it won’t fit a vehicle cup holder. The ideal use case for this mug is an office environment, where it can be kept on it’s charger between sips/drinks, but will still keep your beverage hot when you’re away from your desk for a while (meetings, etc..). It does a good job keeping a hot beverage hot, but still drinkable (not scolding hot). That said, a simple vacuum insulated mug (like a Yeti), can also keep a beverage hot for hours and it costs a fraction of what this mug costs. So while this is a quality product that does what it say’s it will do, it’s difficult to recommend to the masses.I do think this would make a great gift for someone who “has everything”, works in an office environment, and drinks coffee (that’s me). I would never buy this for myself, which is why it makes a good gift. I do enjoy using it in that particular environment, but it will likely never leave my office.

    At long last

I’ve been mulling getting a self-heating mug for myself for a while now and am so glad that I did! FINALLY, I can finish my coffee without it going cold (yuck). The mug is very intuitive to use — everything from power to temperature is just one button. I’ve found the battery life to be perfectly adequate for the time I would drinking it off the charger. On the coaster it truly stays warm forever. I know because I accidentally forgot my coffee for 4 hours the other day…

    It’s great!

I had a similar mug but found it a bit annoying having to use an app to change the temperature. I sold the other on Facebook Marketplace and was ready to try something new. This mug seems much simpler, with one button to change up the temp, and has comparable features across the board. When I saw my favorite color available, I knew it was meant to be! Really excited to have my coffee and tea stay warm again!

    Love this mug!

I got this mug for when I work remote in my office and absolutely love it. It keeps my coffee and tea hot all day – especially when I get sidetracked by some other tasks around the house. I’ll come back to my coffee and it’s still just as hot and fresh as when I first poured it. So cozy for the colder months, can’t believe I didn’t get one sooner!

    Perfect Gift for My Wife

I bought this mug as a gift for my wife who can be a little tough to shop for. She loves her coffee, and works from home most of the time, so this felt like an ideal option for her home office. When I was researching, this option also comes with a lid included, which is great in a household with kids constantly throwing things around. Looking forward to having a great gift for Christmas!

Color is great, heating is AWESOME

I love this product! I am always having to re-heat my coffee in the microwave. It is SO much easier and way less time-consuming using this mug. The only downfall is that it’s a little on the heavy side, and doesn’t hold as much coffee as my normal cup does. Still easy to work with, after you have gotten used to using it that is. Wonderful product.

    Good plugged in….

I’m not sure this cup is much better than an insulated cup in keeping your coffee hot. The best usage scenario for this cup isn’t running on the battery, but on the power source, the coaster that charges the battery inside the base of the cup. On the coaster, this cup keeps coffee warm indefinitely.Off the coaster, this powered-but-uninsulated cup doesn’t really seem a whole lot better than a good insulated cup. Actually, it is better, but only with the cap on. With the cap on, the cup keeps coffee drinkably hot longer than a simple insulated cup, but not as much longer as you might think. The other thing to realize is that the cup holds significantly less liquid than it looks like it should from the outside because of the space consumed by the battery and heating element at the bottom. My 10 oz. cup seems like it should hold fourteen ounces, but almost half the interior of the cup is used up by the battery and heating element residing in its bottom. On its charging pad this thing remains hot for as long as you want it to.There are heat level controls on the cup (three heat levels) and a battery indicator on the back.Overall, I would rate this more a gadget than a need. But it works and it may do the trick for you.

Works, But Not All That I Had Hoped (4- Stars)

I’m one of those people who gets distracted midway through my second (and last) cup of coffee and ends up sticking my coffee into the microwave one or more times to keep it hot. I thought this Thermacup would be perfect for me, especially since I detest lukewarm coffee. Unfortunately, a full charge keeps my coffee at the highest heat level for only about an hour. If I want to heat it from lukewarm, I have to wait 20 or so minutes of that hour for it to get there. This Thermacup is best when activated as soon as I pour coffee into it and if I use the lid to retain heat. But I don’t like drinking through the lid.The mug must be charged fully after every use, but once that’s done, you are free to roam your home without connecting to a power cable. As far as I know, only one other brand allows you that freedom. You can choose from three different levels of heat, and the highest level, while not quite as hot as I get right from the pot, is pretty good. Not surprisingly given the rechargeable battery and interior heating element, the mug is heavy. It is not dishwasher- or microwave-safe. I have no problem handwashing it after use since it requires little effort. The mug comes with a charging base, a power pack and cable, a silicone band to protect the mug during travel, a plastic lid, and a spare rubber gasket. The whole thing seems solidly built. If only this Thermacup had longer-lasting heat, I would probably give it five stars. I just can’t get over my disappointment at finding that my coffee has gone cold and that I have to pour it into another mug to microwave. Give us another hour, Thermacup!– Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Only regulates heat while sitting on the coaster

I love that this mug gives a few heating options rather than having one preset/default heat setting. The only way to get this cup to stay warm and have temperature regulation is if it’s sitting on the coaster. So, great for lounging at home or at a desk, as it’s designed more for stationary/sedentary settings vs being active.Still maintains heat for a reasonable amount of time, so you can still use it while out and about however once it cools down it can’t be reheated until it’s back on the coaster.

Doesn’t hold a charge for long

Nice design, a little heavy but that’s to be expected. It charges quickly but doesn’t seem to hold the charge for long, you have to keep it on the charging station as much as possible. It’s nice to drink from and does keep the beverage warm

    Great for Home Office!

The media could not be loaded.

I really love this unique coffee cup!First of all, it’s not like the others where you have to keep it on the charger or hot plate all the time. I work from home and I can charge it in my home office and then take my cup to the living room or bedroom and it’s still remains hot! So far I use it on the lowest level, because the other two levels keep it a little too hot for my taste. And on that low level, it keeps my coffee hot for about an hour. If I want it to heat back up, I just put it back on the charger.I also like the weight of the cup and the feel of the cup. It feels like a regular coffee mug and it’s still warms my hands when I hold the cup.I do wish it was a little bigger though – I can only put in 8oz of coffee in order to leave enough room for my creamer, or whipped cream if I’m having hot chocolate. One thing I realized is that once you’re finished drinking , don’t forget to turn off the cup if you return it empty to the charger! Otherwise it will just continue to heat an empty coffee cup.So far cleaning has not been an issue for me, I’m just very careful not to get the bottom of the mug wet while handwashing it.

    Love these kind of cups

I have an ember in my office that I absolutely love so when I saw this I figured I would pick it up for the kitchen so I have one no matter where I am. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out you get the cup, the lid, the charger, and the charging pad. I got it set up and let it charge overnight. Waking up in the morning I poured my coffee in here and gave it a whirl. On the ember you can fine-tune the temperature but here you get 140,145, and 150 so that’s a bit of a let down but still works. I kept it on 140 as that was the temp I was most comfortable with. It held a pretty consistent temp with the lid on for about an hour with all the distractions in my house. Cleaning it is pretty easy but you must clean it by hand. All in all, if you are looking for a self-heated mug this is a solid option that will serve you well.

    Okay

I take my time drinking a cup of coffee and I drink it all day long so I am always looking for a way to keep my coffee hot. This cup holds a decent amount of coffee and I don’t need anything higher than the lowest setting as its the perfect drinking temperature for me. My biggest complaint is the battery only last about 2 hours on the lowest setting before it needs charging and it takes it 5+ hours to charge to full, so I nearly have to keep it on the charger if I want to keep hot coffee all day.

    Gamechanger!

I drink a lot of coffee throughout the day and it never fails that I get busy and end up with a cold cup of coffee. This mug is a gamechanger for that. Not only will it keep a cup warm but it will also bring a cold cup back to piping hot! This isn’t your typical warmer coaster setup. And if you’re reading this you most likely already realize that the coaster is only a charger for your mug. The mug actually has the batteries and heater in it.All the internals are very well sealed and I have washed this (by hand) many times and never had any issues. I got the 10oz one and while it’s nice, I do wish I had got the 12oz instead. However, that wasn’t an option for me.I think there are only 2 downsides for me. #1 is the price and #2 is the battery life on the cup.The Price: I did get this mug in exchange for an unbiased review, but honestly, I would have a hard time paying the price for one. Mostly because I don’t like spending money, but also, I feel like $110 for a coffee mug is a bit much, even though it is really cool! But I do wish they had cheaper options.Battery Life: While I wasn’t sure what to expect from the battery life, I do feel it drains pretty quick. Typically get about 2ish hours out of a full charge. Which hopefully I finish the coffee by then but not always. So it’s not unbearable and you can keep it on the charger while you’re drinking too if you want. So not too big of a complaint.Overall, I LOVE this mug! I just would have a hard time justifying over $100 for a mug.

Fantastic heated mug and would make a perfect gift!

This heated mug exceeds my expectations! It’s a beautiful blue color and has a seamless drinking cup, making it very easy and safe to clean. It does a great job keeping my tea at the perfect temperature for up to 3 hours on the coolest setting! The lowest setting is on the cooler end of my preferred drinking temperature and the highest setting is at the upper limit of what I’d consider a comfortable drinking temperature, so the middle setting is just right for me. Note- if you like your beverages to be on the scorching hot side, this might not keep it all the way up there. In any case, I was very impressed with getting 3 hours of hot beverage out of it on the lowest setting! I am very happy with this heated mug and it would make a PERFECT GIFT for someone on your list who enjoys coffee or tea! Here are a few other notes about it:It is REALLY heavy for a coffee mug due to the batteries, which could be a con, but I choose to see it as an added arm workout every time I take a sip. I got the 14oz variety and I don’t think I would recommend getting anything smaller. It may look tall, but the bottom 2″ is where the batteries and electronics are, so it really seems like it barely holds 14oz.The lid actually holds liquid in! I threw this in my backpack drink holder to see what would happen and pulled it out completely dry, once I reached my destination! I haven’t turned it upside down, but I bet it would hold your drink perfectly even in that case.It comes with a spare seal for the lid and for the battery compartment. We noted that the battery compartment seal does have some residue that will need to be cleaned off if ever used, but that’s a problem for another day (or maybe never).

Keeps tea/coffee warm, looks good, and is easy to use

I love this battery-operated heated mug! It has two components:(1) The mug itself has a clean, aesthetically pleasing design and it is comfortable to grab with your hand. Lots of capacity (I chose the 14-ounce version of the mug). You operate the mug with just one button: (1) one long click for low heat, (2) one short click for medium heat, (2) another short click for high heat, (4) one long click to turn the heater off. Even at low heat the mug keeps my tea quite hot for drinking–more would be overkill for me, though my wife likes her coffee/tea hotter, so setting 2 or 3 may be best for her (I’m not loaning her my mug anyway). The mug has two led indicators, one for battery level, and a second one for heat level. The mug can be washed by hand (not in a dishwasher). Note that both the heater and the internal battery are integrated in the mug, and the mug is charged by placing it on a base.(2) The base/coaster is separate from the mug and should NOT be in contact with water. The base is fed by a transformer and long-enough cable (both included). The mug gets charged pretty fast, and each charge lasts a few uses (2-4, depending on how long you keep the heater on before you finish your tea/coffee).I really like this self-heating mug, and it has replaced the electric coaster I previously used in my office. It is expensive. Whether it is worth or not will eventually depend on how many uses I can get out of the battery.

Hot coffee on demand. More specifically 140 degree’s Fahrenheit!

The media could not be loaded.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift for my wife, which of course she received early. She works in the banking industry and on many days she can not get away from her desk. This heated mug will allow her to nurse a cup in the morning without having to make several trips to the microwave to warm it up.I uploaded a video giving details about the mugs temperature along with a few other import facts. This coffee mug will run for hours on a full charge! She took it off the base when it was fully charged and turned it on low once it was filled with hot coffee. I had her keep it off the charging base she we could see how long the battery would go before needing charged.According to the manufacturer it will last 60 plus minutes on a full charge. At two and a half hours she still had three of the four bars on the mugs battery indicator. At this point I put the laser thermometer on the coffee and it read just shy of 140 degrees Fahrenheit, but it was getting low so she added some coffee that was in the fridge. She figured the heated mug would warm up the coffee, which is exactly what it did. But, this caused the thermostat on the mug to stay on which quickly drained the battery. Within ten minutes she was down to one bar on the battery indicator. Most likely this mug will go for many hours when it has hot coffee in it and the lid is securely fastened. This mug is amazing and if cared for properly should last for many years. The only complaint I have with it is its weight, this mug is heavy for such a small mug.My wife likes it and it makes her happy! At the time of this review the THERMACUP Premium Self-Heating Coffee Mug with Lid was selling for $119.95 which seems a bit high for a 10 ounce mug. But that being said, it does a fantastic job and it is probably the best heated coffee mug on the market.

This mug is replacing a similar item I had from a different manufacturer that stopped working. So far, the Thermacup mug has performed to my expectation. I made sure to follow the manufacturers instructions exactly to avoid any operator error. I fully charged it before first use, hand washed it, avoiding dishwasher and microwave, made sure it was powered off before charging it, and let it charge completely before first use. It performed exactly as the manufacturer described. Because these types of mugs can sometimes fail for unknown reasons, I wanted to be sure if it did fail, it wasn’t due to any action I did.The mug has 4 lights to indicate what stage of charging it is in. I assume each light indicates 25 percent of a full charge. (I.E. 2 lights equals half a charge) it is completely charged when all 4 lights are lit up green. The charging process took between 1 and 2 hours for a full charge. On high heat, it held a charge for slightly over an hour, performing exactly as the manufacturer claimed. It kept a cup of forgotten hot chocolate at the perfect temperature over an hour after it was poured with milk added. Even after the cup lost the charge after use, the hot chocolate still stayed warm until I finished drinking it. It is a little heavier than my other similar mug, but it’s not a big deal to me. It’s still comfortable to use and has a good size capacity. I give this product 5 stars for ease of use, durability and performance. It’s comparable to similar items and in the price range I would expect to pay for this type of item.

Exponentially better than a mug warmer. Perfect for my wife!

This is a very sleek and sturdy mug, and I love the color options. After having used ineffective mug warmers in the past it’s so nice to have found a mug that keeps drinks at a set temperature for an extended period of time. This mug is perfect for my wife because she’s someone who takes longer to finish her hot drinks because she likes to savor every sip. The auto shut off feature is great in case you get busy with work or have to step away from your drink when you’re taking care of a crying child for example. This happens to my wife all the time and then she’d end up microwaving her mug repeatedly. As far as the performance of the mug your drink truly stays at a consistent temperature for 60 minutes off of the charging base or mug warmer. However as soon as the 60 minutes is up you definitely notice your drink immediately going cold. The mug itself looks and feels great in your hands, the handle is easy to hold, and the outside of it doesn’t get too hot to the touch even if you have the drink on the max heat setting. It is also convenient that the mug comes with a spill proof lid – making it easy to take with you on the go!This is going to be my wife’s go-to mug for all of the cold winter months.I will say though I wish the drink was able to stay hot longer than 60 minutes – maybe 90 ? And it is a bummer that this is not dishwasher safe but it makes sense to need to hand-wash a product like this.It also is not microwave safe but there really should be no need to microwave of course.

    Heated Mug

I have a previous version of this mug and I love it. I got this one for my husband and really like the updated features. First the heating time seems to last longer than my original one. I am not sure if this is because of the repeateed charging and natural life cycle of the battery or that this one has an updated battery. The size is nice and it is not too heavy. The app on your phone is somewhat of a novelty once you get the temperature set like you want it. I really don’t have to open the app anymore because the mug remembers how you like your coffee. Cleanup is easy. I simply rinse them out and dry with a soft cloth and put it back on the charger. It doesn’t have to be used every day and charges until full and waits to be of service. Always ready to keep your coffee hot. It does have a indicator light and you can set the color and it has flashing reminders for different settings and battery life. Overall I was really impressed with the mug. It is a little bit of an investment but I feel is worth it to drink hot coffee anytime of the day. I gave this 5 Stars. Get one for the coffee lover in your life.

Easy to use, keeps your drink warm

I have the “name brand” version of this mug, and they are very very similar. The other one I have is smaller, but both appear to be made from the same smooth ceramic material. The handle on this is a big bigger but it’s easier to hold. The coasters are similar, charging prongs are similar, charging cords are similar. The big pro to this one is that you do not need to download any apps to use it. It has 3 temperature settings which you select between from hitting the power button. Then once you select it, it will stay at that temperature. The coaster isn’t meant to deal with moisture so I would keep the mug off of it while you are using it. Just put it on there when it’s empty so it can charge. The charge amount is indicated by a set of little lights above the power button which is a nice visual cue. Also, there is no voice or noise at all when you push the buttons. The other brand doesn’t do that either, but sometimes companies like to add that in for some reason. So don’t worry! This doesn’t have that! All in all this is a really great mug. It would be perfect to use at your desk at work. If you’re looking for a nice teacher gift that is not apple themed, this is a winner! Parents you need one of these too. It’s straightforward to set up, came very nicely packaged, and works exactly as described.

Not only keeps it warm, but keeps it warmer

It was nice and cold the other day, so we had Hot Chocolate. I have a couple of heating mugs. This is the first self heating mug. My other mugs will help keep my coffee or Coco warm, but this mug actually made it warmer.Granted, this mug is larger than my other mugs, but the others need to be sitting on the powered base to activate the heating element. This mug has all of that built in. I like that there’s 3 heat levels in case you don’t want/need it to be too hot.My other mugs mostly just keep the coffee from cooling off too fast. This mug prevents it from even cooling off.You can buy other self heating mugs with more features, but do you really need an app controlled mug? I love tech, and have nearly everything in my house linked to some smart hub of some sort, but I don’t really need my phone telling me what temp my coffee is set at.There’s also a rubber base to the coffee mug to keep it from dinging your counter or coffee table if you just happen to set it down when not on a coaster which is a plus.

    Super Premium Temperature Controlled Mug

I love my coffee in the morning and tend not to gulp it all down quickly. As a result, my coffee often gets cold quickly. Step in Thermacup. Thermacup is the solution I’ve been looking for that I didn’t know I needed. It lets me adjust my coffee to the temperature I prefer and most importantly, it keeps the temperature there the whole time I’m drinking my coffee. This is a super high quality product. You can see it in everything from the packaging to the product itself. It looks really nice and works super well. It’s very easy to use and set up. You simply charge it using the included charger and set it to the temperature that you wish. You will need to wash by hand so no dishwasher because of the electronics and connections in the mug.The mug itself is hefty and has good weight to it, but it’s balanced well so I think it would be comfortable for anyone to use. I can see this being a perfect Christmas, birthday, or general gift for anyone who likes to drink warm liquids while keeping them warm. A great solution in a nice high tech solution. This looks like a product that Apple would make, it’s that nice.Super happy with this purchase and absolutely a strong recommendation from me.

Great warming mug, not stuck in one spot!

This is a great cup for having your morning coffee! The three heat settings work well, and I like my coffee hot so I use level 3 which works great. It is not too hot, yet still much hotter than a couple minutes of a regular cup sitting around. This is great for on the go as well because you are not stuck in one spot with a coaster. I find that the battery, on level 3 with a lid on, lasts over 2 ½ hours. This is a huge improvement from the 60+ minutes listed on the front of the box, though right in line with the chart they have indicating battery life on various settings with or without the lid. This cup is a great addition, and I might end up with another one for backup when this is dirty and I’m feeling too lazy to hand wash it.One additional note, there are a lot of notes about the size being too small. The listed size, 12oz in my case, is accurate for what the cup will hold. Even though there is a good portion of the bottom taken up with a battery, the liquid held in the cup is as advertised as well, so buy the cup size that is right for your needs! 12oz is perfect for my morning Nespresso Mocha’s.

Legit coffee mug. Been using it for Oolong, works well.

My wife saw this mug and pretty much snagged it from me and use it for her own nowadays. She says it’s perfect keeping her Oolong fresh and flavorfully enhanced for a long time. I didn’t know a mug like this can have such impact. I literally used it for a week for coffee, despite the pink exterior but I use it at home so no one can really judge. However, when my wife caught a glimpse of this mug around the house, she’s schemed well to finally claim this mug as her own. So yes, naturally, I regard this mug as a highly recommendable mug for anyone who’s looking to gift something meaningful and practical. This mug does well in keeping the temperature, and even for all different sorts of tea, the aroma of tea or coffee is fully contained and it’s just wonderful. I didn’t read the instructions, but there’s only just one button to operate it and looking at those LED indicators, it’s not that hard to toggle through the different modes and figure out what it all does. Anyway, highly recommend this mug for its functionality, the serene looks, and superb quality in workmanship.

Brilliant invention for slow coffee drinkers

I drink my coffee very quickly. Honestly, it doesn’t have time to get cool before it is gone. However, this is not the case for my wife, who will drink extremely slowly, and then find herself with cold coffee. Inevitably, she doesn’t finish it, and the cup goes to waste. If only there was a way to keep the coffee warm while she sits at her work desk? Wait – there is a solution! This Thermacup is a great option for her. We tried it out for the first time yesterday, and she LOVES it. You can keep the cup on the warming coaster to ensure the mug stays indefinitely warm, or press a button on the mug (with three different temperatures) and the mug will stay warm on the go!This is such a unique product, for yourself or as a gift.*** OH SO! ***Mug stays warm, even on the goSet the mug on the coaster for consistent warmthHefty feel – helps protect from accidental spills

Adequately comparable to name brand thermal mug

I’m already a thermal cup user, so this was just a comparison mug. These mugs are intended for people who don’t sit in one spot very long but like their mug drinks hot as they move around. If you can sit in one spot for awhile for the duration of a hot drink, then a warming mug coaster would be a better option pricewise. This mug is heavy but not hard to get used to. The general shape and feel is comfortable. Using the mug lid to prolong the heating ability just doesn’t seem practical to me though. Since the heating unit only lasts 80 min without the lid and double that with the lid, I would rather just spend 1/4 the amount on a quality thermos cup to keep my coffee hot for 8 hours if I wanted to drink through a lid. I’m giving it a 5 star based on comparison with other thermal mugs.I like that I don’t need an app for this mug. I’m tired of apps. All the options and indicators necessary are on the mug itself.

    Expensive but works well

So like all the other people who are reviewing this this product is a slam dunk in terms of functionality, I drink a lot of tea throughout the day and this cup keeps it at the perfect temperature for me which was level 2. You get 3 temp levels in total so you got some flexibility to how hot you want it.Charging is easy as you just put it on its base when you need to charge it and if you are just keeping this by your desk and have the base near by then battery life will never be a problem. For me I have gone several without charging and its been fine. The quality of the mug is really good and it’s a smooth texture. This is good because you can’t submerge it in water or use harsh abrasives, but it cleans super easy with just a wet towel. You’re paying a lot for this product but it works as advertised and is slightly cheaper than other mugs that do this same thing so while not a cheap product for those who like an always hot drink this product is perfect

one of my favorite heated mugs

I got this mug as a gift for my mother, and she absolutely loves it. She is a huge hot tea drinker and can’t stand when her tea gets cold. This mug makes her day easier, allowing her to drink her tea fully without having to constantly remake or heat it up.The mug has three different heat settings: low, medium, and high. I have yet to try the high setting since both the low and the medium are sufficient to keep my tea hot but not burn my lips and tongue. The mug is a little heavy, but that is to be expected since some electronics are crammed into its base. The inner volume is perfect for a cup of tea.Overall, I love this heated mug and use it almost daily in the office.

    Keeps drinks hot, hot, hot!

I ordered this self-heating mug because I drink a cup of coffee over the course of the morning & it inevitably gets cold before I am done with it. This mug does exactly what it advertises! The instructions are simple & intuitive, and the charging coaster is non-obtrusive enough to sit on my counter without taking up much space. This mug is a good size & fits well in my hand. The outside of the mug does get warm, but just enough to give the comfort you get from holding a warm mug. The heating element is powerful! It has 3 settings and I started off on the highest but it was WAY too hot. I now drink on the lowest setting, which still keeps my coffee steaming for hours. If I had to be critical, I’d appreciate another lower setting that was slightly cooler… but that’s just personal preference. The test will be to see how long the mug stays charged, & whether this works in the long-term. But for now, I am very pleased!

Thermacup Self-Heating Temperature Control Coffee Mug

I’ve recently been enjoying using the Thermacup Premium Self-Heating Coffee Mug. It’s equipped with a convenient sliding secure sipping lid, that stops spills, keeping my hot beverages safe and contained. When the mug arrived, I charged it overnight on the included charging base and when I checked it was ready to go.With a single press of the power button, the 4 green lights indicate the charged status, and another press allowed me to set my desired heat preference between 140°-150°F. Thanks to its one-button operation, using the cup is simple and easy. The cup maintains the hot temperature of my favorite brews throughout the entire morning. The auto shut-off feature, related to motion detection, conserves energy and extends the battery life. It’s been over three hours in my 14 oz cup and my hot cocoa is still piping hot!The mug is comfortable to hold and the outside becomes warm making for a cozy hand warmer! It’s balanced so that it doesn’t easily tip over.I love this mug – it works really well and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient and convenient mug warmer that really works!

    In love with this mug!

Amazing self-warming mug. I have a heated plate for coffee mugs, but that warms the bottom. It helps, but nothing like this. The entire mug warms my drink. It seems the heat sources are spread out more inside of the mug, so it provides a more thorough process of keeping my coffee warm. The coaster is the charger. Super easy to set down and charge. It also has various heat settings which make it more customizable if you don’t want it too hot. The lower setting I found was too low, I prefer the medium to high so it has that fresh brewed feel every time. The outside doesn’t get unnecessarily hot it was about the same as a regular coffee mug. The lid fits nicely and works well if you use them (I don’t).For washing, you have to be careful. It is not meant to be submerged since it is electronic. A rinse out works good if you do it right after finishing your drink. Be aware, you have to carefully hand wash it. Definitely not dishwasher safe. Not a big deal for me considering what you get and how well it works. The packaging is incredibly nice. Comes with instructions and in a sealed box.

Can heat up a cup of water

So I got this cup because it would be nice to keep my tea warm at my office. It’s nice because I can charge the cup and then bring it with me to another area and it will stay around the 140°. I did a trial run and it heated cool water all the way up to 140 degrees just by being on the charging plate and having the lid on the cup.The cup is rather heavy but that doesn’t bother me. It does come with 2 extra gaskets.I would actually buy the bigger cup because this one only holds about 8 ounces. I’m sure that the length of the battery is proportional to the size of the cup. This is definitely a nice gift for someone who loves warm beverages but doesn’t have time to sit and drink it all.

    Good But Pricey

Other than the price, there’s a lot to like about this cup. It’s easy to charge, just set the cup on the base and plug it in. Didn’t take long at all to fully charge. There’s an on/off button towards the bottom of the cup. Use the same button to change between the three temperature settings, low/medium/high. As expected, the higher your temp setting the shorter your batter life. After a few uses we timed how long the battery lasted and it seems to be a bit less than advertised. But again, other than the high price this is a pretty good mug.

    Nice product

It does seem a little small for a 10oz cup but it does hold what it says it does. It feels a little heavy since there are components in the bottom. It heated up the water that I put in it pretty quickly, about 20 minutes, and kept it warm for a little bit after that but I did have to make sure it was put back on the coaster since it only has a charge that will last about an hour on high. The handle feels nice and smooth. I do feel like this is an expensive product however. It is a nice thing to have but I don’t know that I would want to spend this much for more than one so hopefully this one will last a long time. It is hard to gauge the durability of it since it seems like a fairly new type of design and is hand wash only.

Great coffee warmer, but not dishwashable

This coffee warmer is great. It is large enough to hold my morning super dose. It seems to have quality construction. It is easy to use. Scan the QR code, or use the manual for easy setup. There are several settings, but they are very intuitive. The downsides are no microwaving (makes sense!) and hand wash only. If it could go in the dishwasher I would give it 5 stars because it would be perfect.

Great idea–wish battery lasted longer and were lighter

This warming cup is a great idea, but it could be better. I like making a pot of tea and drinking a cup at a time throughout the day. But the tea doesn’t keep warm in the pot for very long. I pour it into this cup, and the tea maintains its temperature. I can also brew a cup of tea by pouring boiling water into the cup. The cup does not get hot enough to boil the water by itself. I have to be careful to make sure that the heat in the cup is off when I brew the tea, otherwise the water could continue to boil while the tea bag is in–making horrible tasting tea. That’s not a big problem. There is a button on the cup that allows you to choose 3 heat settings or to turn off the heat entirely. The cup charges by sitting on a base that is plugged into a socket. There is a battery in the base that allows the cup to continue to heat its contents for up to another. That’s obviously not long enough for me to enjoy my tea all day. I still need to leave the cup on the plugged in base, but I don’t have to worry about the tea’s cooling when I remove the cup temporarily. The battery in the base makes the cup heavier than you’d expect. It’s not going to break your arm but it weighs on me. Wish the battery were lighter and lasted longer.

Excellent for keeping your hot beverage hot!

This mig does a great job keeping beverages hot and the nice thing is it will keep them hot wherever you go. Our previous tool was more like a hot plate that only heated the mug while it was placed on the plate. This mug is much more versatile with the heating element built in so its still heating while you hold it and even if you are moving around. The only thing that would make it better is having more capacity as we are use to 16oz so 12oz does not feel like enough. The mug charges quickly and if you just create a habit to store it on the charger when not in use, then it is always ready to go!

    useful, but small

The color is beautiful, and the mug looks high quality. It warms up coffee and tea throughout and not just at the bottom. The mug is not light; you get a good, solid feeling when holding it. I don’t care much for the lid, and unless you transport the mug or you’re prone to spilling your cups, there’s not much point to using it. The downside is that the battery and control mechanism take quite a bit of space, and on a 10oz mug, it really limits the volume, so I need refills. This is also a hand wash-only mug, but you wouldn’t want to run something with a battery in it through the dishwasher. Overall, I really like it.

    Hot Coffee! No more microwave

This cup is perfect for the coffee drinker that likes to keep their coffee warm without having to heat it up in the microwave. It’s sleek with it’s design and white color and I love that it’s easy to use with multiple options for heat. I like hot coffee and the lowest setting was good for me. I was surprised that it was as hot as it was for low. While you have the cup on, you can place it on the charging coaster to keep your coffee hot indefinitely. If you take it off the coaster, the built-in battery will keep your coffee hot for about an hour (depending on what heat setting you have). This doesn’t mean it will be cold in an hour, but that’s when the heating element will run out of battery and then your coffee will start to cool naturally. One advantage though is that it comes with a lid that looks just like any other travel mug lid that you can slide open the spout or keep it closed. It even comes with a spare rubber gasket for the lid. If you use the lid as well, I’m sure your coffee will stay warm for even longer after the battery runs out. For me, this is fine as I just have to remember to place it on the coaster every now and then. You can charge your cup without it on too which is good. The only downside of this cup, and it should come as no surprise, is that it is hand wash only. You can’t put it in the dishwasher as that will ruin the built in battery. Another thing to get used to is the cup is a little bottom heavy since that’s where the battery lives. Not a huge deal, but just something to take note of.I will have to stay up on keeping it clean with the white, but I think it shouldn’t be a problem. So far, been really enjoying not having to zap-fry my coffee every 30 min, and I think you will too.

    Good Idea, Needs Larger Capacity!

This a fantastic heated mug! A bit heavy, but it functions quite well.I’ve used heated coasters, heated mug combo sets, and even a keep-warm mug, but this is my first experience with a heated mug that can stand alone while it actually heats up your beverage. Unfortunately though, the bottom of the mug is dedicated a lot to the battery and charger itself. The base of the “cup” sits a few inches from the actual bottom of the cup, so you aren’t able to fill up the cup to the brim from the bottom as an FYI. With the heating functionality, it’s a pretty heavy mug even by itself without liquid. This was a win for me, but could be a consideration for those whom mugs tend to get heavy when filled. The heated mug ranges from 140-150 degrees from settings low to high, and it’s as easy to use as pressing a button. The charger can stay plugged in, and it’s a low enough profile that it stays out of the way too. While you unfortunately CAN’T run the cup through the dishwasher, it’s easy enough to wash by hand before you ensure it’s fully dry before popping it back on the charging port before using it again the next morning. It’s a nice mug, I just wish there was a bit more capacity inside!

    Nice self-heating cup…

Every day at work, I drink a cup of coffee. And depending on how busy I get, determines how quickly or not I get to finish my coffee. I’ve seen regular coffee warmers that just warm the bottom of the cup to slowly warm the coffee inside. This warmer warms the entire cup. And I appreciate it being a 14 oz cup, as I normally brew a 12 oz K-cup & like to have a little room for cream & sugar. I like that this warms the entire cup, so you don’t get lukewarm spots, but $140 is a lot for someone who normally puts their cooled down coffee back in the microwave.

    Nice for already warm drinks

Instructions were clear, and charging is easy enough. A good portion of the bottom is the battery so the cup looks bigger than it actually is. I did an experiment with a fully charged cup & glass of milk from the fridge to see if I could make hot chocolate directly from the cup. The battery lasted for about 40 minutes trying to heat the milk to the highest setting before the battery died. The milk went from fridge cold to lukewarm/slightly warmed during that time. But the mug is not meant to heat stuff but to keep it warm only. It loses a star because of the deception in size.

    An upgrade for mugs!

The media could not be loaded.

The Thermacup is actually a life saver for my busy mornings. It keeps my coffee hot all morning while I work, and no spills on my laptop because it comes with a lid, which is great quality too. (I also have an Ember but it didn’t come with a lid and the battery life wasn’t very long, so I was looking for something else. Battery life on my Thermacup is a lot longer than my Ember!) It feels substantial but isn’t heavy, just overall really high quality. Definitely worth the purchase!

Great Design, Quality Components, and Performs as Advertised

This product is nicely designed. The packaging is looks good, and the hardware is very nice. The cup is made in China, but this seems to be a UK company. It has that European design sensibility. The ceramic cup feels very nice in your hand. It’s a bit heavy because of the battery and heating elements, but it’s not too heavy. The bottom section is plastic with a silicone anti slip ring at the bottom. The power button is clicky and has battery indicators above it. There are 3 levels of heat to choose from, and 3 LED indicators. When you charge the battery, the cup and charging pad barely gets warm. That tells me that the components are very efficient. The charging pad has 2 little pins that make contact with the bottom of the cup. It’s not magnetic, so the cup has metal contact points on the bottom. It takes about 4 hours to charge from empty. The AC power adapter feels solid and heavy. Just like the other components, it barely gets warm.THE TEST:As a simple test, I boiled some water, then filled the Thermacup and a normal coffee cup. They both started at around 170 degrees F. The Thermacup was set to medium. After 30 minutes, I checked the temps. The normal cup was 101 degrees, and the Thermacup was 144 degrees. According to the manual, the medium setting should keep the beverage at 145 degrees, so this passed with flying colors. Also, the battery level dropped to 2 bars, so it lost about half its capacity. They claim the battery should last about 1 hour, so that confirms their claim. The whole time, the outside of the Thermacup felt slightly warm, and the plastic bottom felt cool. By comparison, the regular mug felt a little hot. The Thermacup has much better insulation, even though the walls are thinner. I’m impressed. After emptying the cup of water, the LED light turned off after a few minutes. It seems to know when the cup is empty. I’m doubly impressed.CONCLUSION:It’s an expensive coffee cup, but everything feels like it’s made from quality components. It also performs as advertised, so I think it deserves 5 stars. I ordered this for my dad who is forgetful, and leaves the mug warmer on all night, even when the cup is empty. Since this has an auto off feature, I don’t have to worry about fire hazards. That’s a very important feature, and I think it adds a lot to the value to the product. If you’re looking for a really nice gift for someone who loves to sip on hot beverages throughout the day, then this is a great choice.

Very nice mug but get the big one.

What I like:Charges via power cable. In places that don’t allow usb chargers this is big deal. But conversely if you were trying to keep this warm in a vehicle that didn’t have that, well then that would be an issue.3 heat modes. I like my drinks warm to hot but not so hot that I can barely sip them. Nice to have options.I successfully brewed tea from cold water with it. But it drained the battery incredibly fast. If you think about that though, that means the cup has a temperature sensor and isn’t time based. Care was taken in the development of this. For me its ok that it drained the battery fast, Im at my desk, the charger is easily accessible. What I didn’t like:Truth be told keeping drinks hot or warm isn’t an issue for me. I drink fairly quickly and unless I’m really locked into my work, my coffee/tea won’t get cold. And if it does, I’m drinking it anyway. So with that being said, when you consider the one I received being only 10oz, the chances of me needing to reheat anything is low. If you decide this is something you need or want, get the big one. It’s better to have the room for more and not need it. Suggest at least the 12oz.I don’t think this is fitting in a vehicle cup holder.Heavy for a mug. With the weight of the cup and the 10 oz’s of liquid, its still heavy enough that when you grip it by the handle you need to have a firm grip, otherwise it wants to nosedive. If you walk the office with your coffee, your forearm might get tired.Other things to think about:Since you’re not supposed to use this if the base is wet, charging it while you drink it, could cause problems should you accidentally spill your drink.

    Slow sipper? Keep your brew toasty to the last sip;

__I have a habit of SLOWLY consuming a cup of coffee, often setting it aside as I perform some small task. I come back to a barely warm or stone cold cuppa…but not today! I set this puppy on the lowest heat setting and had heated coffee down to the last sip. I did not use the 2 higher settings–I don’t like it THAT hot.__The empty cup is heavy: There is about an inch-and-a-half of the bottom of this cup that is devoted to the heating element/electronics, so my 10 oz cup looks like a 16 oz mug. It also means the cup is very bottom weighted. That’s good to reduce accidental tip overs, just don’t be surprised by it.__The ceramic coating on this is quite slick/almost slippery, so if you have damp hands you’ll want to be careful as you pick this up.__The cup will heat your drink as long as the battery IN the cup lasts, and when you carefully set it on the charging coaster, the battery will also recharge. So if you take a walk with this cup it will keep on actively heating until the battery eventually runs down. Logically the battery will drain faster on the higher settings, but I had hot coffee through out my usual rather extended coffee time frame–so nice!__There is the standard travel cup lid with this–that will also keep the cup warmer regardless of the battery status.__There is a replacement gasket for the travel cup lid in the box. That’s a nice touch.__The charging occurs at the bottom of the mug, so this is a hand wash only, being careful to keep the underside of the mug with the opening out of the water.__This came partially charged, so I had to wait before testing, but I am loving this!__The box was colorful and this is DEFINITELY suitable for gifting.__4.6 stars: Just wish the outside material was not so slick, and the care needed to keep the bottom dry while washing could be improved.NOTE TO MANUFACTURER:(1) Would be nice if there were a “plug” that you could put on the cup bottom that would seal the bottom from water while being washed. Even better if the plug could be attached to the charging cradle when not in use.(2) Would be nice if the handle had a little texture to make it harder to drop when washing/handling. This is an expensive mug, and dropping it would be a real loss. Just a little texture (outside only) would help, IMHO.

    LOVE this cup

I’m a slow coffee drinker and I hate how it gets cold so quickly. This cup has solved my problems! It does an excellent job heating and maintaining a temperature and it feels really nice in your hands. I worried that the heating element would make it hot in your hands but there’s very little heat transference to the outside surface. It is solid with a bit of heft to it but a perfect shape so it doesn’t feel too heavy. The color is lovely too. It sits on its charger nicely and charges relatively fast. Two complaints: I was hoping to sometimes use this as a travel mug but the battery life and size makes that not practical. Away from its charging pad, it seems to die pretty quickly and isn’t well insulated like a vacuum travel mug so things get cold quickly when it dies. But it doesn’t hold a ton of liquid so you have probably drunk it already. Which brings me to my second complaint: it doesn’t hold much but it also doesn’t fit in a regular cup holder. It’s still perfect for enjoying coffee or tea while working at my desk though. It just needs to be near its charging base.

    Mug is Small

The plate is to charge the mug’s battery and 1/2 of the mug’s space is dedicated to the battery area, so the actual liquid area is similar to a small expresso, not going to have much coffee or tea in it. By the time it would take me to drink the liquid quantity it can contain, I would finish my beverage before it would need to be heated. The limited liquid space kind of defeats the purpose of this item. A plate mug warmer is better for larger ceramic cups & cheaper. I do not recommend for the cost of this item.

Plan on pouring 2 oz less than the stated capacity.

My ten ounce mug only comfortably held eight ounces, and I still splashed a little when stirring in my creamer. The shape of it feels nice in my hands, but the outside stays pretty cool, so if a whole lot of your hot beverage enjoyment experience is warming your hands on your mug, you’ll be missing that, as I do.The positives: it works great and it’s sleek in appearance (though it’s weird to stick in a spoon and it doesn’t go anywhere near where the bottom looks like it ought to be due to the heating element and battery built into the bottom.) I like the lid in concept for both heat retention and spill prevention, but it’s a little weird to drink from— it’s a small opening and it seems to be more recessed than all my travel mugs’ lids— it feels like you’re drinking off of the top of the lid more than drinking *through* the lid. This is a wonderful luxury item and any coffee lover would love it. I’d recommend sizing up unless it’s for a diehard espresso drinker. I’m totally pleased with everything about it except for the smallish capacity and the lid I haven’t adapted to yet.

    Really nice mug!

I have a cup of tea every morning, but I drink it slowly. This mug is aaaalmost everything I could have wanted to keep it from getting cold on me. It feels very solid, quality, but it’s not too heavy. I like the material, how it feels in my hand, and I like the handle! It takes about an hour to fully charge, and then once you remove the mug from the charger, the battery lasts about an hour. I use it at the hottest setting, and it’s the perfect temperature for me, without being TOO hot. If I don’t finish my tea, I can just set the mug back on the charger and go off and do whatever. When I come back, I just turn the mug back on, and it heats the tea back up! It’s great. The only negative to me is that it doesn’t hold much. The mug is normal size, but the bottom almost half is taken up by the battery and such. So the mug only holds liquid in about the top half. My cup of tea requires two mug fulls. But it’s nice in another way because it’s like a built-in coaster. The bottom doesn’t get hot. Actually, none of the mug feels hot to the touch. My tea is sitting there, steaming away, and my cold fingers reach out for it, but they don’t get any warmth from holding the mug. Overall, I’m a big fan. I just wish the mug was a little taller to hold a proper mug’s worth of liquid.

    Keep your tea hot!

Great heated mug for sippers…. if you don’t drink all of your coffee or tea at once and you’re tired of reheating, this is the mug for you! Self heated mug keeps your drink warmer than just a mug sitting on a warming tray – this whole mug gets warm! You can adjust the temperature to 3 different settings right on the base of the mug, so no more cold coffee or un-hot chocolate. Slick design, but hand washing is the way to go here. If I could make one suggestion it would be to make it a 12 or 14-oz size, but as it is, rally great to have on hand to keep your drinks just the way they should be!

    So hot

At first I was surprised to see that a huge amount of space is taken up by the base/ battery. So it really holds more like 8 ounces than 14. It holds a charge for 1 hour off the charger. I keep it on the charger in my office, though. It keeps drinks PIPING hot. I actually kind of wish there was an even lower setting because even at the lowest one it’s almost too hot to drink. I do really like it. I enjoy having a hot cup of tea throughout the day, and this works so much better than a mug heater.
