Super picture, amazing price
I upgraded from a 10 year old 60″ Sharp 1080p that had a great picture but did not have smart features. I wasn’t sure the picture would be an upgrade, but I was tired of having to switch between the firestick for smart features and the tv remote for antenna and HDMI functions.This did not disappoint. The footprint of this 65″ is not much bigger than the old 60″ because of the edge to edge picture. The sound is much better as well, I had to use a soundbar with the sharp because of the thin sounding speakers. The picture is outstanding, I’m just using the factory settings-mainly standard but occasionally switching to Movie and Dynamic. I haven’t set any Custom pictures up yet, but will in the future. It’s lighter as well and I was able to use the same slim mount as my older tv. Lighter is definitely more manageable. The power and inputs are easy enough to access even with it being mounted close to the wall.This is really a great tv with a ton of features for the money-It’s quite a bit cheaper than what I paid for the smaller 60″ tv 10 years ago–not many things are better and cheaper than they were 10 years ago.

Overall great value
The first time I ordered it arrived cracked, but the return process was fast and decently easy. I re-ordered the second time with free setup so they could ensure it was okay and worked, and recieved my replacement in under a week. This is my first large smart tv, and I was actually very impressed with the picture and sound quality. Setup is pretty easy and straightforward.

Sticker placed on screen of TV…
I can’t imagine why anyone would think it is a good idea to put a barcode sticker on the bare screen of a brand new TV. This is how my TV arrived. I spent a half hour trying to carefully remove the sticker without the use of chemicals or anything that would damage the screen. This could have been easily avoided by just placing the sticker on the side or the back of the tv on its plastic frame. Anywhere would be fine EXCEPT the screen. This caused me so much frustration and the situation could have been so easily avoided if the person applying the barcode sticker to the screen considered how frustrating that would be to remove and the time involved for the customer to safely remove it after the sticker began to tear and leave a rectangular shape of adhesive still stuck to the screen after removing the sticker. I’ll never purchase a TCL television again because of this.

So Far So Good
Received the TV on a Saturday and it was a pretty smooth delivery. The TV appears to be decent quality build but i would highly recommend getting an extended warranty as this is not a Major brand. The front display has NO border so make sure you are grabbing the TV from the side and back of frame.The sound of this TV is not Premium so consider getting a sound bar and you will enjoy it more.The picture is surprisingly well despite the brand but you will have to go in and play with the display settings. I would suggest you scroll all the way down the display menu to the advanced settings and adjust the Super HDR and Resolution settings and you will be amazed at the picture.

My last tv I had for over 10 years and it was barely functional. THIS TV?!?! This tv is insane! Quality is great, not too heavy for it’s size, comes with legs and remote. Super easy to set up! This is just the best upgrade ever!

65″ TV At a Fantastic Price
We bought this TV during the Big Deal Days. It was a little scary ordering a 65″ TV via Amazon and having it shipped to us, I imagined all sorts of things going wrong. It arrived in perfect shape. I wasn’t too thrilled with the delivery guys and their attitudes, but that’s not Amazon’s fault. The TV has beautiful color and it as clear as clear could be. I would buy a TV from Amazon again if needed.

Not easy
Not very easy to set up. Controls like those in the for video quality are not all on the same menu, nor do some of them hold the setting once the TV is turned off.Input labels can not be customized, and various other things that I would have expected to be easier on a new smart TV.I found the picture quality was good, and the voice remote helps.

Great picture quality for the price
This TV is a great value. The picture quality is really good. Brightness is great not too dim. Went with the fire tv version because of my past experiences with fire TV’s being so good. You’ll most likely want to wall mount this TV because the factory legs are spread very far apart. Too large to fit on any normal size shelf or fireplace. My one complaint will be the TV remote. You should be able to change the 4 pre programed buttons to apps you actually use. Other than that it’s a great TV.

Won’t connect to Wi-Fi
I had a terrible time with this tv, I tried connecting it to Wi-Fi since delivery. I kept getting an error saying that the tv couldn’t be updated and to unplug and try again. I reached out for support in multiple occasions, then telling me I need to restart my router, then saying I may need to connect an eithernet cord. I’ve never had to do that with a tv, not a Samsung, LG, Hisense. This is the only tv that I’ve ever had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. You can only get the local channels since it won’t connect I can’t get any apps. At this point I just want my money back, so I can go by another tv that isn’t such a hassle.

Tv stuck on loading screen
Turned tv on for the first time and it updating various apps and things then just froze on the loading screen. Left it for hours to see if it would work but came home 5 hours later and still on the same screen. The remote wouldnt do anything. Unplugged and plugged tv back in and would turn on and just stay on the same screen. Tried this multiple times over a few days and was done… returning item and waiting a month for a return. Pretty sweet experience lol you get what you pay for don’t buy it. This same problem has happened to multiple people on here

Screen arrived broken
We were looking forward to our new TV! As we pulled the protective film away from the screen, we noticed some large bubbles at the top. We hoped it wasn’t, but as we turned it on, those bubbles turned into gray splotches and we noticed a crack inside the screen. The screen feels very flimsy, so i guess im glad the issue happened out of the box, when i still could return it.

Waste of your TIME & likely SCAM
Received the package fine. Set it up and plugged it in… ONLY the initial screen with logos displays. Spent an hour troubleshooting AND contacted the TV company support. They determined that TV is defective and should be returned. Awaiting UPS pickup now and pending refund from Amazon.11 days AFTER they have received the item and I am STILL AWAITING REFUND. SAYS within 30 days will refund??? Why so long— they make money off YOUR MONEY!! – SCAM!!!

Excellent Purchase
This is my first experience with this brand of tv and I am very impressed. Since I already linked it to my Amazon account, set up was super easy! The 65” is a perfect size for my living room. We haven’t set it up on the wall mount yet, but it looks great even just sitting on the stand. The colors are vibrant and the sound is pretty good. I have a soundbar I linked to it, but often I find myself not even using the soundbar because the tv volume is loud enough on its own. I bought this during the Black Friday sale, but even at full price this is a great value for this tv in my opinion. The quality is fantastic and the apps work much faster than my last smart tv I had.

Opened the box, set up the tv, connected to the internet, and after the software update the TV never came out of stand by. TCL and Amazon CS were great, they just said return the TV.

Game Mode causes micro stutters
Fine for watching TV, if you want to game on this good luck, game mode causes stutters every 5 to 10 seconds and with game mode off the input lag is unbearable, TCL claims it’s not an issue with they tv, apparently both my PS5’s, and Nintendo switch are the issue.

I almost didn’t purchase this. There were only 2 reviews but I took a chance and I am SO glad I did. Such rich colors, vivid even in my very bright room with a large double window just to the side of it. This magnificently bright, beautiful and crisp unit, from the packaging onward, far exceeded my expectations. Everyone who has seen it loves it. The sound is great and distortion free, even at very high volumes. No need for sound bar!. Highest value TV on the market IMHO. I scratch my head over the $400-ish price range. You can spend more for a TV but you won’t get more than this one. Total perfection.

Don’t buy the Fire Version for Gaming
The fire version doesn’t support VRR or MEMC. I mistakenly bought this one over the Google version, but thought it would still have the same features. I realized it was the same when I plugged in my Xbox and proceeded to calibrate the TV. Probably fine for non-gamers, but go with the 55Q650G for gaming.

Great product!
Beautiful picture. The Fire TV was easy to set up, and works great. I’ve been using fire TV sticks and cubes for years, and this fire TV is faster and more responsive then my current cube. I disconnected it and I’m using the TV instead.This TV was exactly what I hoped for when I purchased it. I can’t recommend it enough!
