Make my work easy!
TCL Google TV with the excellent picture quality on my desk. I always like TCL TV because it provides the best quality products at a reasonable price, compared with other brands in the industry. A long time ago, I bought a 65-inch TCL TV in the living room, this time for work as a PC monitor. In addition, it’s easy to connect, set up, and connect your laptop. I love the sound quality of the internal speaker.

Buil quality not so great
Build quality is not the best. Light leaking aroid the border. Seems quite flimsy. Sound is another disappointment. Seems very tinny. must have very small speakers. Picture quality is OK. Google smart features are OK.

Great Purchase & received TV on same day. TCL 32-inch GTV is perfect for its intended use, nice size, clear picture, sound quality is great & loud. Quality?
It’s a cheap AF TV with barely passable picture quality. Had to crank up all picture adjustments to get just a ok picture.I am replacing a Coby TV that died. I swear the 720 Coby was better than this thing.I do not understand the higher reviews.

Much better than previous model
Much nicer bezel than the previous model. Barely a noticeable bezel really and it’s only about 1/4″ at most (didn’t measure). Setup was a breeze using my Google info via my phone & QR code. You won’t be disappointed.

TV color is dull
I guess since it is only 1080p, the quality of picture is not that great. I have tried several differ et settings and played around with the picture settings but it does not have a very good quality for shows or movies.

Great features for a small TV
I had not heard of TCL prior to receiving this 32″ Google TV. (I’ve since seen them everywhere) I was a network engineer for years, and I can tell you the integration with Google Assistant is seemless. Some notable features are; a built-in chromecast adapter which saved me $40, when you connect a Bluetooth speaker, and select both the Internal and BT speakers, the volume control let’s you control them Individually, and adjust the timing to sync them. It also has a simple menu, and gives you the ability to simply enjoy the defaults, or tweak the display and sound almost professionally. Picture is adequate, not spectacular, but the price and features make it a great small bedroom or kitchen Display. It’s like a 32″ Google Hub (really) Max. Only downside I found was that you can’t rename the chromcast device. It’s name is a long number that might get confusing if you had more than one.

I needed a decent tv at an affordable price. This one is great. The picture is clear and easily adjustable. It is a little light at the edges, but not enough to bother. There are fewer features than the big Vizio in the family room, but I never use those features anyway. My favorite thing is being able to control the external speakers with the remote. $20 speakers that connect through the headphone jack are a more economic option to an expensive sound bar. The Google feature allows access to a wide variety of apps.

Extremely Fragile. Original Order returned due to damage.
Nice low price for a 2nd HD Smart TV in my library, but the TV is very light weight construction and fragile, and I shattered the thin unprotected digital screen just handling it to install the screw-in feet stand. It needs a strong polycarbonate front screen or glass to protect it from life’s bumps and bruises. Thankful Amazon’s return policy quickly provided me a prepaid return UPS Shipping Label and and Replacement TV arrived the next day. So save all the origal packagung just in case.You will need access to an Email and iPhone /Computer to set up all the Smart TV’s WiFi account Apps for Google, YouTube, Netflix, etc. The replacement TV is working fine.

Very poor controls
I wanted a monitor for my computer that was full HD, 1920×1080 and this TV has that resolution which is just fine and it satisfies that. It doesn’t have any hardware controls as some of the others do and it can only be controlled from the remote which is very bad. The design has been thought out by halfwits and some of the controls don’t work unless they are pressed several times in a row. That remote control of theirs is the worst one I have ever used.

Pretty good
Just wanted a dirt cheap TV for RV. The performance is much better than older TV. Marking down mainly due to Google TV. Google messed up and took Android TV changed name and found more ways to throws ads in your face on the main screen. You have to scroll to get recommendations and continue watching. The main first line only shows stuff to buy such as YouTube TV.

Missing items
I got my TV a day later than expected. Opened thr box to find just a TV and a plastic bag over it. The remote, manual, batteries, TV stand all were missing. I had to call TCL which had pretty quick response times and friendly reps. They are getting my accessories mailed to me.

At least one dead pixel & I’d love it if I could find ONE smart TV without ads…
Overall, for a TV that’s going to sit on my kitchen table, it’s adequate. I prefer the Google TV experience over the Fire TV experience, but not by much. The interface is fast enough and the sound quality was better than expected. I’m stuck with some applications on the device that I cannot delete even though I don’t use – like HBO Max. Don’t hurt anything, it’s just annoying.

Does Not Work With Spectrum TV
The tv itself is okay. The sound is a little hollow, but is functional. My biggest surprise and disappointment is that the Spectrum app that allows you to watch Spectrum TV is not available. You’ll need an additional device like Roku/etc.Very disappointing since that was going to be my primary programming source.

Very thin and lightweight!
When I first picked up the unopened box, I was thinking there must be some mistake. Never handled a TV that light. I’m guessing between five and 10 lbs. Had no problems connecting to my router. Quick and easy. Also has the regular cable antenna hook up. It’s for my bedroom and very well worth the money.

Major issues with the remote communicating with the tv, the sound only working on streaming videos
“TCL 32″ Class 3-Series Full HD 1080p Smart Google TV – 32S356 TCL 32″ Class 3-Series Full HD 1080p Smart Google TV – 32S356. The tv seems to be frozen at times. The only way to temporarily fix it is to unplug it at the wall. Now, the problem is there is no SOUND on the HDMI setting. If I’m watching a streaming video, there is sound. But, there is no sound on live tv. The cable tv can only be watched on the HDMI setting. I am not happy with the frequent problems that this tv presents.” This tv is only 3 months old at the time of this writing.

Apps won’t launch
Difficulty with getting the apps to launch after setupThis TV has a glitch with the Peacock app, and it defaults to descriptive audio for the sight impaired.. every single episode, no matter what. I don’t watch Peacock anymore because having to change the audio settings every single episode is obnoxious. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend this TV.

Junk do not buy
I have this TV for approximately four months. It is the worst TV I ever bought. I use it to stream. It will not hold settings .every day. I have to unplug it to reboot it. It constantly freezes Requiring a reboot the problems all started after about a month of use, which made it too late to return, I’m about ready to put it to the curb because it’s useless to me.

I loved this tv while it worked… but it lasted me about two months.
I loved this tv the first few weeks I got it.. nice bedroom tele. but shortly after I had issues.. the bluetooth started acting up disconnecting constantly. then just this week (which is about two months since my purchase) it completely died. it looks like its going to turn on for about a second or two then just fades off. I didnt pay for the insurance because its pretty safe in my bedroom. I didn’t expect it to die on its own two months in which is too late for the return.. had to toss it. very disappointed.

This is just a terrible TV
This TV has a terrible picture. No amount of adjustment seems to help. The sound is terrible, but at least I have a nice sound bar. I don’t use the “smart” part of the TV so I can’t comment on that. Other than it seems to adjust the picture for me which makes it worse.

Power cord bad after only a few days of use
After a long setup time and downloads, after three days of use the power cord went bad and the TV will only power on if you wiggle it just right. This cord is stationary in the back of the TV so I’m sending the thing back. Never again

Good value for money
Bought it as a gift, not our first choice, mainly because the size fits well in the current space.Surprisingly it turned out well, with quality sound and picture. Just the smart features and remote control takes time to get hold of them – the remote is not the standard look commonly used.Overall experience is pretty good and they like it so much!

Ideal for bedroom use
I was in the market for a 32 inch television for my bedroom and discovered that TCL had two full HD tvs, a Roku and a google tv set. As I already had a Roku Streambar, which I was going to continue to use as a soundbar, It made sense to go for the Google TV. Adding weight to the decision, the Google set comes with an ethernet port and the Roku doesn’t.How does the TCL 32S356 perform?Picture – The 32S356 comes with a full HD panel and the picture is sharp, clear and bright, I am very pleased with it. The tv is best viewed straight on as the colors are less bright at an angle. The tv also picked up when accessing an HDR10 source and informs you that it is running HDR.Digital Tuner – Although this carries less weight on my part as I am using the tv for streaming, the digital tuner appears to be excellent. It picked up all the major channels and more subchannels than I was aware existed.Streaming – I’m familiar with the Google TV service, my downstairs television has a Chromecast with Google TV streaming device. I knew that the TV would access every streaming channel I use. I find the TCL tv to be very responsive. Initial setup takes a while as you will have to download the current software and download any apps that you’re installing. Once set up, the tv starts quickly and apps load very quickly.Sound – As I had mentioned at the top, I was planning to use the Roku Streambar as a sound bar. Using the HDMI ARC port, setup was painless. The TV immediately sensed that it was connected to the Streambar. I then disabled the soundbar to try the internal speakers. It’s here that the tv falls short. That said, the internal speakers are adequate, with sufficient volume and clear audio. The frequency response is where the speakers fall short, with no bottom end, the speakers sound a bit tinny. Without a soundbar, the tv would still be adequate for viewing, but the tv really benefits from an external soundbar.Overall, I am very pleased with my TCL television. It does everything well and is the perfect fit for a bedroom.

Decent TV
Seems to be a decent TV for the price. Good picture. I’m only using an antenna so I can’t speak for the smart features. I can hear it just fine with the volume on just the 20 setting. All controls and features are on the remote so take care of it. Good for small apartments or dorms.

Works fine for what it is
Primary use as a monitor for computer. Sound system is terrible so the value of the Google TV portion is lost as we stream through the computer (Bose Sound system) if we want to watch something. Remote won’t pair with the TV so Google assistant is a major flop too.

Great TV
This is the third TCL TV I have purchased, my first Google, the other 2 are both Roku. This is NOT a 4k set but it still has a pretty good picture. TCL products for the money are a great value. I do own a 43″ 4k TV and the picture quality is excellent.I also own a TCL smartphone and tablet and I’ve had zero problems with any of them.

So So Picture, but buggy interface is the worst
The media could not be loaded.
Was very impressed with a relative’s 65″ TCL 4K Google TV, so I bought a 32″ TCL Google TV. Night and Day difference – the 32″ picture, while crisp, is somewhat washed out no matter how I fine tune the settings. But the worst part is the interface is so buggy it’s too much of a pain to deal with. Of course, didn’t find this out until a week after the Amazon return period ended. TV is only 5 weeks old so will attempt to deal with TCL warranty center.Update: Amazon actually replaced the TV outside of the warranty period so kudos for that. Unfortunately, this series of TVs are the worst TVs in the history of TVs. Interface is amazingly buggy and slow. If you really want to watch something you better start warming up the TV an hour in advance. I don’t think I can get another replacement so I’ll probably take this to the dump and see how far I can throw it. Will never buy another TCL.

Sound is poor
I guess they compromised on the sound quality to get it to 1080p. It was difficult to find a 32″ tv greater than 720p. I’d have paid more to get better sound. We hooked it up to other speakers so we could hear.

Just right for the purpose intended
Read the reviews, accepted them as good, ordered this (for a computer monitor & perhaps some other features..Primary reason, however, was for a nice large monitor for a laptop…delighted! Have ordered/purchased another and every neighbor who sees this little jewel is off to try to get one for the same and various other reasons (child’s room, man cave TV, etc)..Noted that Sam’s Club has these now in stock (slightly higher price)…could not, in good conscience, imagine driving there to get an item that is handed to us at our front door…ease of purchase/guarantee/quality of product is all we could have hoped for…may order yet another as a gift for neice…Thank you, regards…linda and carl brown
