Excellent buy for compactness and good video colors!
After reading the manual and inserting a vintage 2011 Blu-ray disc it didn’t play. I tried a regular DVD and had no issues. So I went out and got a newer video on Blu-ray and put it in the player and worked like a champ. I contacted the support and Cathy and I thought maybe the issue was in the player, but it’s NOT! SO if your library contains old Blu-ray discs, you may want to make sure when you but this player that you use the oldest Blu-ray you have. The video quality was excellent and since I never saw a Blu-ray video since all my library is standard DVD. Kudo’s to the support I got from the vendor, she was very patient! I recommend if your looking to get a Blu-Ray player, you can’t go wrong!

An Amazing Blu-ray Player!!
This Blu-Ray/DVD player is amazing! Lightweight and tiny, it takes up no space but the output is outstanding. It plays my regular DVD’s but it’s the Blu-Rays that it really shines with. Don’t get me wrong, the DVD’s look great but with the Blu-Rays, I finally know what the fuss is all about. The crispness of the picture, the sharpness, the sound – it’s fantastic! I had a Blu-Ray/DVD combo before, which went kaput and was the reason I bought this one, but between the two types of discs, I couldn’t really tell a difference. I’m really excited about this player and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for one for their home entertainment system! It was easy to set up, the cords you need come with it, and you’re ready to go!

Average Player
Don’t expect this to be a long term purchase if you buy this player. Guess at this price these things are now disposable. Purchased it in 2021 (now Jan 2023) and it worked very well the first few months, not so much since. Picture quality is good … when it actually will play the discs. Main issues slow to load, noisy & randomly wouldn’t load some dvds. Started watching Game of Thrones again last month and it won’t recognize some of the discs, skipping/freezing on other discs. Discs are fine cause they play in our very old dvd player. This thing is going in the trash and looking for a new one. Don’t think I will buy again.

Works when mounted vertically on the wall!
I looked forever for a player that can be mounted on the wall behind my TV… so glad I found this one!Although it does not come with mounting option – I had to get creative. Used strong velcro and a thin piece of a plastic sheet. Also added some L brackets for extra support.Quality a good. Controls are basic… but it works and that’s all that counts.

Nice Compact Size! Plays Audio CDs & Burned DVDS
The media could not be loaded.
PROS: The small size is awesome, it will be perfect for using on my camper or boat, as it doesn’t take up much space. What is also nice, is that it plays Blu-ray DVDs, and the video quality is excellent! It operates rather quiet, you definitely cannot hear it over the movie playing. And as I held the remote, it has this little ergonomical finger rest notch in the back that I thought was so comfortable and neat, I just love that little feature! Heck, the DVD player plays audio music CDs, and even a burned DVD movie! Great versatile compact player :)CONS: The only negative remark I could say is that the quality of the plastic and the cords are a bit thin & cheap (you could always upgrade your cords if you really wanted), but it does do the job perfectly as is! Also, I did notice that you have to point the remote pretty directly aimed at the player for it to work, no pointing it to the side or the floor bc it won’t work.

Compact but excellent video quality
I bought this item to replace another Amazon buy of a cheap Chinese made DVD player. Immediately I saw the difference in image quality. It doesn’t take up much space but more importantly, it is made of a simple construction. Push the button, the lid pops up, put dvd in place, close lid and enjoy. Sometimes the best things are the simplest. This is one of them.

Works well in a variety of locations
Plays every disc I have put in it and the discs ‘click’ in, meaning the disc is stable even if you need to place the machine vertically. Only drawback is the remote receiver sensor is on the side of the machine, so if you happen to have that side facing the wall, the remote won’t work so well. Otherwise a great, inexpensive player when you don’t want or have room for a larger ‘blinking lights’ machine.

Cute and awesome
I bought this because my old blu-ray player stopped playing all my blu-ray disks but continued playing my dvds. This is amazing. Small size fits perfectly for sliding under TV. Top opening keeps from having the issue of the disk getting stuck in the player because it doesn’t want to open. The picture is awesome. It gives the best quality possible almost like it’s trying to make everything 4k view. I love this little player I’m contemplating getting another just incase this one ever breaks.

Second Time Around…
I had to return the first Disc player because the sound was intermittent. I thought I’d give it a second try, hoping that it was just one faulty machine…so far, the second one is better, but there are still places where the sound drops out. Really?? What happened to quality workmanship?? At least the remote control is easy to use.

Perfect for a RV
I purchased a RV a few weeks ago and noticed that the entertainment system does not have DVD or blu-ray options. I wanted to add a blu ray player, but the cabinet size was not large enough to put in a full-size player. I found DiDar Blu-ray player on amazon and seen good reviews. I ordered it and it came within a few days. It was very easy to install and came with everything I needed. I was amazed of the quality of the picture that comes from such a small unit. I’m extremely satisfied with the DiDar Blu-ray player and recommend it to anyone that wants something small but has the quality of the high- end ones.

These are hard to find
I mounted mine vertically on a wall near the TV in our RV and this unit is perfect for that. The disc locks in place (like older CD players). Close the lid and you’re in business.

Big performance in tiny package.
I was admittedly skeptical at first, but this player exceeded anything I could imagine. For such a small thing, it delivers big performance. One thing I wasn’t sure about was that you lift the lid and put in the disc. But upon using, I like that without a sliding tray to jam up up and malfunction this should really make the player last a long time.Also, since it’s 12v (via the included adapter) I can use it in my RV.I liked that included the HDMI cable which looks like a better quality one than I sometimes get with a product.The remote could use some improvement in the button layout design, but that’s a minor nag.I’m amazed that they can pull this off for such a low price. ( Ha- I paid over $1,500 in the late 70s for a Sony Betamax DVR. YIKES!)

Great little Blu-Ray Player!
I knew I kept my DVDs and Blu Rays for a reason! I wanted to watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” but Apple TV was the only place to see it. I hate all things Apple so I did not want to subscribe and I knew I had it on DVD. This little unit plugs into our big TV over the mantle and only takes up a small amount of space. I can hide it behind a picture. Great picture quality and no skipping. I would highly recommend. We are watching DVDs we haven’t seen in ages and if I want it out of sight – it take 2 seconds to unplug and put it away.

Tiny but works like any of the big machines
The media could not be loaded.
This was perfect for the tiny TV we wanted to use it with. It came with everything we needed, except for batteries for the remote. It’s no bigger than the spread of my hand, yet totally functional. We can easily take it in our Trailer camping, or move from room to room with the little TV for our grandkids. I totally recommend if for anyone, even if they are needing a tiny blu-ray – it does the job of the big machines – but takes up so much less space. It does have both type of cable hook ups -for those who have older TV and those with the newer HDMI hookups.

Does not play newer movies, anime or off brand DVDs
Was surprisingly pleased at first. It played all my classic dvds and blu rays, the picture was now 4k, but still pretty great and the remote mostly worked! Then I tried to play John Wick 2 and ever few minutes I got an error and the sound cut out and shortly after the image cut out. I tried to play a few other new movies and the same happened. I tried to play Red Line and a few other anime and off brand DVD discs and the player just refused to read the disc. While I did not pay a lot for this thing, I expect it to, I dunno, read DVDs? The remote is pretty good, but since you can only use less than a quarter of the buttons, one would think it would be smaller and less complicated. If you only want to watch older movies and mainstream distributor movies, this is a great buy! But is you want to watch new movies and less mainstream DVDs I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Good, but the remote is a nightmare
Easy set up, works great, picture quality is amazing! My remote is the only issue. The buttons are either unresponsive, or do the incorrect function. For example, using the right aarow to skip ahead turns off my TV completely, using the directional aarows to navigate a main menu brings up a settings menu, and my stop and okay/pause buttons control the volume.

I had to replace an older regular sized blu-ray player. I like the style of disc loading(popping the lid open, inserting the disc firmly, then closing the top). The player is very compact. It can’t be any smaller. The remote works great. All I need, nothing more, to watch DVDs and Blu-ray.

The first DVD/Blue Ray player didn’t work..the replacement worked for 3 months..I left a scathing review. I recently heard from the company , unsolicited, and they have refunded my money . Shocked, Shocked at How Good this Is!
I was mainly looking for a decent, easily portable DVD player. As we have many Blue Ray discs, I was interested in that capability as well, so I checked out this Super Mini Blu-ray Disc Player. We have an expensive Panasonic unit and an older VHS-DVD recorder that cost more than this unit years ago. Well, this unit delivers in droves. Compact, user-friendly, high quality performance – what more could one ask for?

Bad product good customer service Updating with additional information
Total junk don’t waste your money. Worked for a few months then the motor completely died and quit working. It was great while it worked but did not get my money’s worthI stand by my original review, however, I’m updating to add 2 stars for customer service. I can’t justify adding more since the product itself is still a dud. After posting my original review the merchant contacted me and offered a full refund without having to return the player or a replacement. They made good on my bad experience with the product and that was above and beyond since it broke outside the return window

This Drive Plays Anything!
This unit out shines all the DVD Sony players I have. It plays DVD, DVD-R, DVD-DL, Blu-Ray and from a USB drive is plays MP4, MP3 and VOB files from DVD movies. It also plays DVDs sold in England. I can also play media files from an internal hard drive using a USB adapter unit that I use on my PC for for accessing data on old computer hard drives. It is not a fancy drive but under the hood she purrs like a kitten. I must make one point: It accesses USB 2.0 and 3.0 thumb drives BUT the largest capacity drive I was able to use was a SanDisk 32MB. I hope the player continues working for years. Also, the remote does not come with batteries and it is not the best built remote I have seen. You also have to point it directly at the unit for it to work. Great Player!

A Compact Blur-ray Disc Player That Plays MP4 Files
My older media player has trouble playing MP4 files. I read that some blu-ray players do play MP4s so thought I’d give this a try. I do not own any blu-ray discs so couldn’t test with them.This player does play MP4 files as well as DVDs fine. I put in an 1080p MP4 file, navigated to the file and during playback, the picture quality was fine. I tried a DVD and the picture looks fine too. I test if the player can resume after power off. With a DVD, while playing, then stopping and powering down. Then powering up, there is a popup screen that asks if I wish to resume from last position or start from beginning. When trying the same with an MP4 file, the player doesn’t resume from last position after power up (but does remember if file was playing, then stop button pressed, then playing again without power off).The player includes a remote control, a 33 page instruction booklet, an RCA cable, HDMI cable and the power adapter. The player is about 7 inches wide, 7 inches long and 1 inches tall. Putting in and removing a disc is all manual with a button that flips up the lid then you use your hand to place in or remove the disc. There is a USB port on the side to play MP4 media files.Overall, the instruction booklet is understandable, but there are some spelling mistakes and other errors. The primary reason I got this player is the play MP4 video files. I tried first by not using a manual but didn’t so how. So I referred to the instructions. One part said to press the USB button on the remote. But there is no button labeled USB. Another part or the instructions said to press the media center button which is the correct button.I found the remote control responsive to my presses. Thought the remote seems a bit overwhelming with about 30 tiny buttons. Simple
I am super lazy and it took me too long to use this. This blue ray player is super easy and simple to use. Like I don’t know much about electronics and I got it set up in less than five minutes. The disc loads through a pop top so that’s the hardest thing I have to remember about it. It’s not very expensive and I have been able to play all of my discs on it so far. The red light is bright but that’s no big deal. So far so good. It’s worth it imo.

Small Unit, Works Well
Compact player that doesn’t require any set-up. One just hooks it up to the TV and plugs it in. The picture and sound are good. It plays my US and English DVDs, my home recorded DVDs, CDs and US region Blu-ray discs. DVDs can be played using an RCA hook-up. To play Blu-rays, you need to connect it to an HDMI port. The RCA cord has the 3 plugs on one end, but the other end is a single plug that goes in a port on the side of the unit. Don’t know if this is easy to replace. It has a top loader for the discs with a button on the unit. You can’t open it with the remote. When you open it, the disc is still spinning. I have it on a shelf under the TV, and it is small enough that I can open the top without pulling the unit out. I don’t like that one has to push the disc down onto a hub, and then pull it off. My front tray loader doesn’t require that. The display shows the title length, but doesn’t show the time remaining on the title & the scene like my other player. It seems to turn itself off too quickly. When you need to pause the play to leave the room and come back it will be off. So far, it remembers where the DVD was stopped when you turn it back on. With the Blu-ray, the stop button completely stopped the video and when I used play it started it over from the beginning. I had to go back to the scene list and guess where I had left off. The remote has small buttons. The manual could use more instructions; there are some buttons that have unclear functions. They should have an on-line manual with more instructions. Cord has a transformer which may block other outlets depending on your set up. I have not tried the USB connection.

Good media player.
Purchased this for our 2021 sienna. The vehicle came with a rear entertainment screen but no media player. We chose this player as it could play blu ray, dvds and had a slot for usb. Although it says it can only take up to 128gb usb drive, I was able to connect my crucial x6 2tb hard drive to it. From what I have tested, it will only play mp4 format videos. MKV did not work. Remote has a cheap feeling to it and to load videos from your usb, you will need to hit the “media center” button. Manual says to hit the “usb” button that does not exist. Overall I’m fairly happy as it’s perfect for family for camping and road trips. It doesn’t have a luxurious feel to it, but it works well and dvds don’t skip on bumps. Would recommend to others.

Worked as described.
Purchased this to use in an RV so was looking primarily for the following features. 1) capable of vertical wall mount. 2) snap style hold mechanism of blue ray media. 3) small form factor.Pros. Ran the system for 8 hours on multiple DVD and Blue Ray discs with no issues. Did a side by side comparison against entry level Sony blue ray player and the picture quality looked the same. The remote did communicate with the player when it was mounted vertical. It is line of site so I needed to hold it out at an angle but definitely usable.Cons: internal motor is louder than other blue ray players and I noticed this in the heads up comparison to the Sony I mentioned earlier. That said, when more that 4 feet away from the player it was not noticeable and did not interfere with viewing experience.

Simple, no nonsense blu-ray player.
Great little player for the money, and what I love most about it is the small size. The remote it comes with is a little flimsy, but works fine, just be gentle with it. This will only play normal blu-ray movies, it does not play UHD/4k discs, which is fine for the price/size, but please be aware so you are not disappointed after you purchase it.The only issue that keeps it from being 5 stars is that it can be a bit loud. Usually after 10-15 minutes of playback it will calm down, but during that time you will hear an audible burring noise. It’s not the worst, but you might need to crank the movie up at first to drown it out. I have also noticed that this is dependent per movie, as some I have watched have had very little to no burring, while others it seems to go on for a long time.

Great mightymite Unit
For such a little guy it does things larger units can’t do it’s a very good multiplayer.

REMOTE IS AWFUL!
Blu ray player works good. Not the best but not the worst. But the remote is awful! Have to stand 3ft from player and still doesn’t work half the time. Too late to return so looking for universal remote and hope that will fix.

Working well and fits my needs well.
Size is good, seems to play anything I have put in it without issue so far and has a decent set of options for video and audio setup it seems to be working well with how I was intending to use it.I would have liked to have more options on setup. Example: would be nice to set the timeout/power down longer as I often need a bit more time when I pause it than it gives before shutting down.In the end its a minor nit pick but its just enough to give it a 4 star for me but I doubt most would have any issues with it.

Confusing remote
I purchased this player to use in my travel trailer, so I needed a small footprint model. Setup out of the box was simple and the player worked as expected. The remote has strange button labels that will take me a while to get familiar with. Like most remotes now days it is rather small, but does perform the basic functions. One note – when you push the stop button and then hit the play button the movie starts from the beginning of the disk, so use the pause button if you want to stop and then restart the movie.

Small and portable
We take a tv with us when we stay in cabins or condos and bring dvd’s. The internal dvd player in the tv broke so this unit replaced it and works well

Perfect and Portable! Small size makes this perfect for my needs.
I purchased this Mini Blu-ray Disc Player and I’m extremely satisfied with its portability and performance. The video quality is what you would expect and the compact size is perfect for small spaces or portable use. The remote control is easy to use and the HDMI AV cable make the connection easy enough. It’s perfect for a projector I have to use almost anywhere I want. The absolute best part is how small it is, I can use it, and put it away in a drawer when I’m done. Highly recommended! 5 stars!
