Great compatibility with devices
This is the best ANC I’ve ever had, I’ve come from airpods pro they cannot compete, these headphones are the best sound quality I’ve ever heard, the app works great with apple or android. I am really happy with my pitches

Great product but not for small heads lol
I really enjoyed the sound quality and that you can adjust the settings in the app to your equalizer-preferences. I also thought these were pretty comfortable when I put them on… however they do run a little wide so if you are a small person or have a small head they might not be for you … maybe if you wear a hat while you wear them? Lol

Good
Works great. But sometimes my ears are hurting. Not because of the sound but of the ear cover. It doesn’t seem covering my ears properly. Other than that, a very good product.

Bass heavy, noise cancellation not as much.
Sound quality of the headphones is decent but not the best. Although for the bass, even when set to normal it is still very bass heavy but it’s not a very big issue. Build quality feels as good as the flagship models but the controls are something you will need to get used to overtime. Overall, you get what you pay for so don’t expect much.

Just buy them you’ll be glad ya did
Bought these and was concerned with the thought of you get what you pay for.. but once I got these I was pleasantly surprised.. I use them when I’m mowing grass or weed whipping and let me say they sound great and they do get rid of a lot of outside noise.. will buy another pair when and if I need to

Fantastic
This is my fifth set of headphones. I’ve finally found a pair that checks all the boxes for me. They’re very comfortable, sound excellent, really like the controls, and the app is easy to use with the right amount of choices so that I don’t get paralysis by analysis. It’s got a nice case also.

100% Real Review
I really like these. I’ve owned the Sony XM5s and the Bose Q45s, not counting the Skull Crushers, Marshall’s, Beats Solos, and Soundcore Q35s, because none of those compare to the first two. I will keep it real here, these are not the 5s or 45s in sound, or design quality, but they shouldn’t be. I paid over $300 for those two and paid a 3rd of the price for these. I got these used for like $86.The Sound Quality on these Sonys are very good not great for the music I listen to. I listen to mostly Hip-hop, then r&b, Soul, and Gospel when in the mood. These for sure bump. The bass on these are clean, crisp, and just bang. The bass is actually better than any of the headphones listed above. I consider myself an audiophile, I’ve always been into music and quality sound. Searching for the best sound I can find. The mids and highs on these don’t compare to the 5s or 45s at all but they also aren’t bad. For the price, build quality, and battery life, you can’t go wrong. If you love strictly vocals these don’t super shine in that category. If you love bass and want a nice clean sharp sounding headphones, that should last a while, these are amazing for what I paid for them. If these go up to original price in the mid $200s I would just spend a little more for the 5s because those are the best headphones I’ve ever heard from the ones I’ve listened to. For sub $100, for the music I listen to, these can’t be beat. My one and only complaint, which has been mentioned in the comments, is they don’t get as loud as I’d like, which is sad because they for sure can handle it. At full blast they will give you a great experience and the noise canceling is very good. Again the 5s and 45s are better at noise canceling by a small margin, see a theme here? But on a plane, I zone out, and am in my own world.Bottom line you won’t be disappointed unless you want to lose your hearing at a young or old age I guess, and need honestly speaking, too much volume. I wish I had more volume but not by much. These work just fine, and it’s probably a good thing they don’t get louder because I’d listen to them as loud as they would go, that’s just me.

I waited a couple months to write this review
Headphones are my life! Let me explain…. I’ve always loved Headphones from a young age. A Walkman was with me from birth it feels like. I Dj’d in the early 2000s and Headphones became more somehow. I’m a full time detailer and music is very important to me and helps me work. I’ve been through hundreds of Headphones from old plug in to Bluetooth and I’ve hit so many brands. I was earbuds for years until a coworker turned me on to over the ear 3 years ago. I took a chance on a no name brand and was pleasantly surprised. Cheap $20 headphones lasted 2 1/2 years and were great. Then I got a new job ,started making more money and had to work in a very loud shop. My $20 headphones didn’t sound the same. I knew I was due for an upgrade and battery life was starting to go on My cheapies. I was put into a place like most that I had to upgrade and thought it would be easy and cheap but I was very wrong. I spent a week researching and reading reviews for every headphones. When I Dj’d my favorite headphones were my Sony Mdr-v700dj and paired with my Sony erricson Walkman phone in 2008 were a very sweet setup. I knew I didn’t want to spend crazy money on headphones because wearing while you work definitely risk breaking them. So I ordered these with the idea I’ll just return if I don’t like. I hated them the first day! Sound was horrible, fit was tight, connection was horrible and I couldn’t figure out controls. Went home that night ready to return and remembered reading a review about a Sony app for them. I downloaded it and it fixed all sound problems! Extra bass now worked! Connecting through the app made weird crackling go away. Still unsure of returning I brought to work again. I don’t read instructions I grab and learn. I didn’t realize it had a noise canceling button and just thought it always had it on. In this moment every sound was pushed out and the music was just clear and perfect. Extra bass makes it sound like a little subwoofer is in there lol. Waited 3 months to write a review so I could see if they are tough and they hold up well to my work environment. Happy to report I’ve figured out and really love the touch controls. When I was searching I didn’t think I needed this but it’s awesome and I’m not sure how I lived without it. Phone calls too…. my old headphones calls sounded horrible on both ends. These sound creepy good 👍🏻 like they are in the same room

Incredible performance, and a great included case, but underwhelming build quality
The performance of the headphones, as well as the noise cancellation are superb. These are the absolute best you can get for the price. They’re comfortable, the app support is nice, and the connection is stable. The noise cancellation is incredible. It outperforms headphones 3x as expensive. I was able to use these side by side with airpods max and these are extremely comparable, if not outright superior. I particularly like the wind noise reduction feature. You can have noise cancellation while sitting next to a fan or while walking in windy weather and it doesn’t make that noise that all other noise cancelling headphones do.The build quality is sub par though. The headphones feel nice in the hand but you can tell that it wouldn’t take much force at all to snap one of the earcups clean off. I genuinely think that these headphones wouldn’t survive a fall from waist height let alone from head height. If you plan on taking these headphones with you anywhere outside of your room you should use the very nice included case. The case is firm on the outside and very plush and cushioned on the inside. Similar to the case included with the Steam Deck, for the sake of comparison. If you discard the case and throw these headphones in a bag with a laptop, I really don’t think they’d survive. They’re that fragile.

Took a bit to set up
These are stellar headphones. I got them on sale at a great price as I was looking for wireless headphones to use with my PC.I will note, make sure, even if you intend them for PC use, that you first pair them to the app on the phone. There is a setting to set it up on 2 devices. It will make your life much easier and you don’t need to touch the app again if you don’t want to. But that is where you can adjust the settings in the EQ also.I had issues connecting it to my PC, with audio stutter. Turns out I didn’t realize my new PC came with bluetooth on it and the dongle I had for my old PC was causing issues. Once I uninstalled that, it worked perfectly.I’ve never used the mic on it, as I have an external mic, so I cannot verify that part. The Noise cancelling in my office has been perfect. There was a lot of moving around I pulled these out and couldn’t hear that or the calls people were making in meetings.I’ve not used the touch controls very much, but it seems when you want to adjust sound/skip/go back you need to hold your finger in the center for a moment before swiping in the direction.Worth it if you can grab these on sale without wanting to spent $300+ on headphones or aren’t an audiophile.

Great Sound Quality!
My favorite feature from these headphones is the ambient sound. I like to be aware of sounds around me while I have these headphones on and I love it. The noise cancellation feature is also great for moments when I want total focus and concentration, it blocks out most noise around me.I have a wide head and these headphones fit comfortably! It’s snug, but not too tight. I also love that it has its own app so you can adjust the sounds to your liking. Overall, I recommend these headphones! They feel high quality. I got these when they were discounted so they were more affordable.

REVIEW FOR NON-AUDIOPHILE MUSIC ENJOYERS
This review is written to be as accessible as possible. Things will be explained in parenthesis ( ), feel free to skip them if you already know the meaning of the term. Important notes will be in ALL CAPS, to allow for easier skimming. I WILL NOT BE COVERING THE APP EXPERIENCE AND TOUCH CONTROLS, as I felt they were all fairly STANDARD FOR THE PRICE.Audio quality: Definitely BASS HEAVY (bass being the low sounds, like bass drum, bass guitar, or a particularly deep synth), bordering on muddy (refers to so much thick, unrefined bass that it drowns out other parts of the music), but they manage to stay NOT MUDDY due to the CLARITY of the bass. IF YOU CRAVE BASS BUT HAVE SOME STANDARDS, these will be EXCELLENT for you. The MIDS (sounds like piano, the human voice, horns) are DROWNED OUT BY THE BASS, with specifically ELECTRIC GUITAR tending to LOSE DEPTH, but MOST HUMAN VOICES ARE STILL CLEAR WITH SLIGHT DEVELOPMENT (clear, present, and a slight bump to depth), WITH FEMALE VOICES HAVING A PLEASANT EXTRA SPARKLE (A little bit of extra sharpness and presence, with particular regard to high pitched sounds). The TREBLE (higher sounds, cymbals tend to fall here, high strings, etc) generally has a slight SPARKLE, but is overall INCONSISTENT. If you listen to 2 songs from different groups, the cymbals will be varying volumes between them. This is because drummers do not (usually) tune to set notes, and instead tune to a “feel”. Having such variance in sound quality in an area that already has so much variance between songs can be very DISTRACTING, and can make some songs feel completely different than intended. They have NARROW SOUNDSTAGE (soundstage is the “wideness” of the sound, does it feel like the band are playing in a closet with you in the middle, or does it feel like you are in the studio, and they are all spaced out around you?), with the extra bass particularly feeling like it resides right in the center of your skull. They have MEDIOCRE IMAGING (imaging is the specific directionality of the sound. with good imaging on a good recording, you should be able to point to exactly where each band member is around you), leaving the non-tonal audio quality metrics as LACK LUSTER FOR THE PRICE TAG.Comfort: The EAR PADS are PLUSH, with the fake(?) leather feeling NON-PLASTICY. The HEAD BAND PADDING is SUB-PAR, feeling little better than no padding at all. The CLAMPING FORCE (how tightly the ear cups press on your head) is SLIGHTLY OVERDONE, so these WILL NOT FALL OFF, but can be UNCOMFORTABLE FOR LONG PERIODS OF USE.General Build Quality: They are almost entirely PLASTIC and pleather, but both feel like they are implemented with the consumer in mind, with the PLEATHER being COMFORTABLE ON SKIN, and the plastic being SMOOTH, with only 1 notable SHARP SEEM where the cups are pieced together on the LEFT SIDE, but NOT SO SHARP AS TO BE A DOWNSIDE. They seem DURABLE ENOUGH, I wouldn’t slam them against the wall, but they feel like THEY WILL SURVIVE REGULAR USE LONG ENOUGH FOR THE BATTERIES TO GET FULL LIFE EXPECTENCY.The Bluetooth Problem: Bluetooth headphones are NOT A LIFE-LONG PURCHASE. They have a life expectancy of about 1-3 YEARS due to battery degradation. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A PAIR OF HEADPHONES THAT WILL LAST, BUY WIRED.Closing Remarks: While the heavy bass is undeniably FUN, these would be very GRATING FOR LONG TERM USAGE. I would recommend purchasing if you can check at least 2 of these boxes:- The hardest of hard bass heads- A lifestyle headphone that doubles well for gaming (the bass punch makes gunshots sound very clear, something entertaining for gaming)- Getting high (if legal where you are) and listening to the spaciest of spacing out music- Have the expendable income for a pair of exclusively “Fun gimmick” headphonesWith the caveat that:-They are terrible for movies or anything primarily spoken word-They have enough bass to kill a stable of horses-Seriously, don’t give these to your horses-You can get nicer sound quality for the price(Audio impressions were taken mostly from my favorite analyzing song, Cygnus X-1 Book 2: Hemispheres, by Rush. Your impressions may vary. Have your own opinions. If you LOVE how these sound, I am so happy that you could find what you wanted in these headphones.)

Overall an excellent pair of headphones (if bought on sale)
Pros- great sound and bass (however, it came out of the box sounding muddy – had to mess around with EQ)- comfort, clamping force is just right- decent noise cancellation- battery charges very fast and lasts long- a good case is includedCons- the headphone band protrudes out near your ear instead of curving along your head all the way (it looks super goofy)- crappy mobile app with no desktop supportBuy these when they go on sale. Frequently seen below $150 and even near $100. These pros/cons are appropriate for this price range, otherwise buy the XM4/5.

Amazing Product.
If you are Hip-hop, Rap, R&B and Rock listener don’t hesitate getting this product as from its name “EXTRA BASS” you can expect the quality of base you be getting. Sound quality is awesome (as you will expect from Sony’s).Now when it comes to the noise cancelling these are not a top teir they are good so don’t expect a noise cancelling as perfect as the Sony’s M4/M5 or the Apple AirPods Max Pro cause these are top teirs when it comes to noise cancelling. Moreover, you will need to play with the equilizer from the app a lil bit in order to get the better version of your headphone (my recommendations are shown in the pictures). Custom 1 is my go to when am listening to R&B and Custom 2 is my Rap/Hip-Hop settings. In addition to that, it’s a light weight headphones so they are suitable for the gym but the only down side is they might be lil bit uncomfortable during certain workouts such as dumbbells shoulder press as your arms might touch the headphones ears. Finally, this review is my opinion and opinion only and for the type of music I listen too they are more than perfect (hip-hop, rap and R&B).P.S: got these on a 50% discount so for the price I paid they are MORE THAN PERFECT.

Lots of bass
Great head phones for the price. I didn’t know you could get such clean sounding bass in a headphone. But I will say that if you don’t like hearing a lot of low end in your music then I’d get some that you can adjust the bass boost. These are all bass all the time. I happen to love the low frequencies but I do find myself adjusting the EQ on my phone for a little less of it.The noise cancelling is amazing though. Especially on airplanes. All the screaming babies just disappear!

Not worth $250
I bought these on sale for $120. If you can find them at that price snap them up. I wish they were a little bit louder out of the box. But I use them with my computer and I just bump up the preamp. And with a digital EQ these can sound just as good as the XM5s if not better because of the extra bass.

Way too much bass and the headband hurts my head
I can’t reccomend these, even on sale for half price the hurt my head and create a huge and unwelcome amount of bass which on some songs can be equalized to tame the low end, but on some songs it’s impossible to bring down the extereme bass thump. But even if they didn’t hurt to wear them, who wants to be fiddling with the eq app every song, only to find that on some albums there is no way to make them sound tolerable. I’m now using a much cheaper popular brand which has no need for eq to sound ok. Yes I have listened to the top of the line Sony headphones and they are very good sounding, these are not like those.

Does everything advertised.
– Aesthetics is not the best. Looks very wide in your head. But I don’t care about the aesthetics.- I like the hard case. Simple and good to keep the product safe from damage.- The noise cancellation is very effective. I don’t have anything else to compare it to, but I feel like it does a great job.- Very useful with 2 devices connected at the same time. For me is my working PC and phone. The only downside is trying to set up the audio the way you really like…out of the box it was weird for me. But, everyone is different.

Great for travel and/or daily use compared to Razer/SteelSeries
Bought these for a long flight and to use at my computer daily. They work well. Sound great. The bass is good and noise cancelling is also good. They are fairly comfortable compared to my Razer or SteelSeries which I’ve also used heavily. My one complaint is that they feel tighter than my other headsets even though the ear cushion is a little more comfortable. So, I find myself switching to Sony earbuds sometimes.

Great headphones, but sold refurbished instead of new.
The headphones are GREAT but do not trust this seller to sell you a brand new pair, as they have listed here. I found out that these are refurbished when I was paying for brand new. I just connected to the application that I am supposed to use for the headphones and found out that they had been connected to someone elses devices, and I am very much skeeved that I paid a higher price for something someone else used. If you did not pay for refurbished, DEFINITELY check to make sure it wasn’t resold as refurbished. The headphones are the best headphones I’ve had, ever. They are very comfortable to wear, very lightweight and can wear them literally all day long. which is great for my neck ( I have a crushed c4 so I can’t stand much of any weight). My favourite part about them is the fact that I use them nearly 13-14 hours straight and my battery drops from 100% to 70%. I could probably easily get two days back to back with them, on a 15 minute charge each day. The headphones have been a huge quality of life upgrade for me and my set up.

Almost too much bass?
After several years of my Skullcandy Venue ANCs, they finally gave out and left me searching through the wilds of the ANC offerings.I’ve always preferred over the ear cans to earbuds. I was traveling a lot pre-pandemic, and would also wear them when doing the yard, so over the ear just worked better for me. This helped reduce the options, but there a still a lot out there.I quickly narrowed it down to these or the Ankers, and on reviews and ratings went this direction. It also helped they were half price. And overall, I’m pretty happy with them. I’ll start with the complaints first, so you can decide if they’re deal breakers for you.The app is pointless, save for changing the EQ settings. And why do I want my headphones knowing when I’m home and changing settings accordingly? Ugh. Not a feature I need at all.And now, the bass. It’s a lot when turned up in the settings, you that point you will get distortion on some songs (think a 95 Camry with factory speakers). I have pretty broad tastes, but it wasn’t genre specific. You’ll want to set it around +6 for best results. It is an upgrade over the lack of bass in my Venues, just be ready to tweak it.As for positives: The battery is nuts. I use it every day, and charge it once every two weeks. I thought my Venues had great life, but these are another level. If you plan on leaving these in a gym bag, that’s a good thing. These are incredibly comfortable. Both the ear pads and the band pad are soft but supportive, and the shape and geometry are excellent. The overall sound quality is pretty good, but I suspect if you’re an audiophile you’ll find the mids lacking. Probably a compromise in getting better lows, but unless hearing everything clearly is a must, these are good enough.Get these when they’re on sale, generally enjoy them, and don’t feel too bad when they eventually pass on and you’re back searching for your next pair.

Great sound, great NC
The extra bass feature is a huge advantage to me, I like bass but I don’t like having to increase volume to deafening levels to get the bass I love, with these, I can get great bass sound even at lower volumes. This is a highly subjective POV, people have different ears and hearing, for me these are perfect

Touch Features are smooooth
If you’ve never owned a pair of over the ear headphones and don’t wanna go out and try a bunch, just buy these. They have great control features and smart technology. I’m not one to judge actual sound quality, I’m not really an audiophile, but I can definitely they do have a greater bass performance. I got these on prime day for cheap and definitely a glad I made the purchase. Previously about 7 years ago I bought Bose QC 25 for prime day for about the same price and was totally let down. These are great. Would recommend. I let friends try them to and they were bumpin to the music. Would be a cheaper option than the higher end models and again the touch features make them feel super premium. Just overall happy with the purchase I made.

Volume and fit
Really liked the headphones look I also liked that the headphones were adjustable in a few spots and very comfortable. So I was excited about these. I really liked the case and feel of these.. At this point I was giving it a 5 star. Then I synced them up to my device and for a couple of minutes I could hear okay. Then the sound started to go in and out. It started to go out in my bad ear so thought it was me. So adjusted a few things and did noise cancelling. Then it was the other ear acting up. Even when the sound was there it was still hard to clearly hear what they were saying on my podcast. Even though these were on sale they were still a lot of money and couldn’t justify spending that much if I couldn’t hear. After a couple days of messing around with them I returned these based on the hearing. So for sound and clarity I give these a 2 star. I am hard of hearing in one ear and a couple of years ago had bought a pair of beats and used them till I wore them out. Beats aren’t the most comfortable things. So was a little sad about that. But bought a new pair of Beats and now I can hear great again. Which is the reason for headphones.

These headphones have great sound and excellent noise canceling. The bass sounds great which is important to me. They were also easy to connect with my phone. I got them for half off and I’m very happybwith my purchase.

good audio, good ANC, good value when on sale.
I had been using the previous gen 900n’s for a while so I was waiting for them to go on sale again, this was worth the few days that it took to ship and are much better than I was expecting for the price.just wait for the things to go on sale and then they will be the best mid range NC headphones you could get for the price.

Excellent quality audio, but lack of physical buttons makes it harder to use.
The actual audio in these headphones are amazing, the sound for music or speech (think audiobooks and podcasts) is super crisp and well-balanced. The fit is really good that so that even without noise cancelling you don’t hear ambient noise. The noise cancellation is fantastic and doesn’t drain the battery. The battery life is great too, definitely the 30 hours as advertised. The primary downside is that the control panel is touch only on a smooth surface. It takes a little bit of practice to get the muscle memory for where exactly to scroll up/down or left/right. The one thing I haven’t been able to consistently do on my own is find the right spot for the stop/start button. I’m going to have to find it and physically mark it with polish or something.Otherwise, I highly recommend these headphones as they work beautifully and are worth the price.

Excellent headphones that do not hurt
So I wanted to upgrade my headphones from earbuds and knew that Sony was an obvious choice. I am so incredibly happy with these headphones. I did knock them down to 4 star on noise cancellation because though they do a great job, it is less noise cancellation than it would be for in ear buds. The battery does seem to last a pretty long time and the case that comes with is pretty nice protection for the headphones.

Worth every penny
Ive tracked almost 50 hours (47 hours and 58 minutes) with these headphones using the app. The battery hasnt gone below 50% in the month and a half I’ve had them, and I only charged them out of the box when I opened them for the first time.I also can’t hear anything other than the sound coming out of the headphones. I’ve never had true noise canceling headphones before and these are amazing.

Don’t believe the hype
It’s okay for sound….you still can hear things around you , which is not good. I wouldn’t encourage to buy. It sounds like an off brand product. I’m really shocked, Sony normally is good for a good sound and bass. But not this headset👎🏽😿

Just great
These ear phones are amazing. Put them on, listen to your favorite music and you are carried toprivate peacefulness. Totally noise locking and as I said before excellent product. I have a pair for myself and purchased a second one as a gift.

My favorite Sonys after the XB900’s
If you like bass for music and movies then these should be on your short list. The discontinued XB900’s are better with their abundance of codecs and even more bass but these are good too. Got them for $118 which is a decent price for these.

Amzing product but….
This product is very nice sThe sound quality is amazing and the noice canceling is perfect also, the only flaw is the cheap plastic its made from. I dropped them once from about a foot and a half off my bed to the floor and a huge piece of them broke off and now just for them to be usable I have to duct tape them and makes me look like a fool.

Solid headphones
These Sony WH-XB910N headphones have good sound, work well with Teams and Zoom, are comfortable to wear. The charge time is a bit long for me, and the touch controls are not the best. I use these with my phone and computer and use those devices mainly to change volume and other inputs. So overall they work fine for my application. Hard case is nice for storage in my computer bag.
