Not bad!
Pretty good overall. After the first time underwater, the section that holds the camera lost its glue (or something) so it would just spin and spin rather than unlock the extension mechanism. So I had to glue that.. but other than that great!

Feature Rich Product
Versatile as a selfie stick but also as a stand alone tripod stand. I purchased this for use with a recording device so the tripod aspect was more important than the selfie features. I figured for the price I would get both but I also wanted something I could tuck into a backpack to bring to recording sessions and gigs easily. It succeeds on all these fronts. What would make this a dream come true is if it had one more telescoping tier so it could extend maybe a foot higher in a tripod state. Otherwise, it stands about waist height which I find a hair too low.

Very Stable and easy to use and transport
This product worked like a charm. It was easy to set up, use, and it was stable!!!! Some selfie sticks/tripods have a fragile base and are subject to lean and fall. But not with this one. I place it beside a traditional tripod this morning, and it was just as equal to the old school tripod. I carried it in my backpack, and I didn’t even know it was in there.

I love this Tripod!!!
I have a GoPro Hero 7 white and wanted a tripod I could get steady video and pictures with while also having a “selfie stick”. I love how the tripod feet screw on to the bottom so I don’t always have to have then attached. I take this tripod everywhere with me. I would recommend this to anyone when I bought it I was reading the comments and asked myself is this really want? And it was exactly it and more. If you are thinking about getting this tripod, I suggest just buying it! It’s 100% worth it!

Exactly what I was looking for.
I use this to film myself riding my onewheel. The length of the stick is long enough to get good shots of the board and the trail I’m riding. One thing to note is sometimes the inner extension pieces do not lock — just make sure to check them before you use it at its full length.Seems very sturdy overall and convenient to be able to store in a small backpack on longer expeditions.

You can’t really own a GoPro without this important accessory
I like how small this tripod folds up into. It even fits in a ladies purse. A sturdy and compact accessory for your GoPro. Recommended!

Weak GoPro Mount
I loved the versatility and quality feel of the entire unit. I used it on two occasions after a year of ownership and it’s worked great. My main problem is that the plastic mold where the GoPro attaches broke (so can’t use it anymore) after those two uses. It is not as strong as the GoPro bases that come with the camera. I’ve been looking to replace the top piece but can’t find the piece on seller site. Now I just have to get a new stick

Great quality , made from aluminum no complaints !!!
I’ve had my smatree for a little over two weeks now and love it . I was super skeptical at first due to the cost but I can’t be more pleased with it . It’s built from aluminum , easy to use , zero fitment issues , the tripod is aluminum as well and works GREAT !!! If I had one complaint it would be the cell phone holder quality is kind of poor , however I didn’t buy it for that so it is a minor complaint for me . I also really like the compact size of it when it’s collapsed.

Very simple device once you configure the screw in the head to hold the GoPro
Very versatile, sturdy and easy to use. It adds just the right amount of weight to smooth out camera vibration and shake when I’m walking with the GoPro and it’s collapsible tripod legs are great when I want to plant the GoPro somewhere and shoot a time-lapse.

Very cool little stand
Very cool little stand. Pretty stable for its size. I took a long exposure with a small DSLR camera with a slight breeze and it didn’t wobble. I did use this underwater and it held up. (With that said we were prepared to have it rust) multi uses under water will probably rust it out. The downside is it is a little short. We did read the dimensions so this wasn’t a surprise.

Absolutely Blown away by the quality for price!!! Buy It NOW!!!
Ok where to begin? The Smatree tripod/selfie stick is awesome. I wasn’t expecting much for the $, but lo and behold I’m shocked at the quality. I’ve got a couple of the el’cheapo selfie sticks that when extended bend like a fly-rod with any weight on the mount. This thing fully extended is rock-solid, perfectly straight. Twist locks on each section are positive and stay locked. The ball mount 1/4×20 thread is aluminum and feels solid. The detachable tri-leg short section is heavy duty aluminum with rubber tips on feet ends keep it from sliding. It also has a 1/4×20 threaded top of aluminum. The rubber handle section on selfie-stick portion is nice and grippy, doesn’t feel cheap seems to be well attached. This does have a wrist lanyard, but it is useless if you plan on using the tripod legs as a extension in your hand. I kind of wish they had coated the tripod legs in a rubber coating, as the aluminum is nice but slick if your hands are wet/dusty.Specs:Length of selfie stick portion collapsed is 12″, the tripod leg length collapsed is 7″. Diameter of legs extended is around 12″. Combined length collapsed is 19″. Tripod deployed with selfie stick collapsed total height 14″. Total height fully extended 38.5″ +/- .5″Combined weight is right around 1.5 lbs. If you’re looking for ultralight, this isn’t for you. If you need a quality Tripod/Selfie stick with stability and adaptability BUY THIS NOW!!!

Good light weight selfie stick smart phone tripod
I needed a small light weight stand that would hold my smart phone when I went on hikes, camping trips, family gatherings, etc. I have a regular camera tripod which is sturdy and provides a good solid camera platform, but it is big and bulky. I came across this tripod/selfie stick and it had all the features I was looking for. When fully extended with the folding stand attached it is just under 4 feet long. Fully collapsed with the legs removed it is about 14 inches long. It has a ball mount on the end that allows the mounting platform to swivel 360 degrees in a horizontal plane and fold down 90 degrees in the vertical plane. I was mainly concerned with durability and the tripod is very sturdy and made out of strong (but light) aluminum. I wanted a sturdy stand to get good photos (no blurred photos from an unsteady stand) and this item includes a strong well made three leg stand that can be detached for storage. It comes with a typical expandable bracket that holds most smart phones (it was tight but I was able to fit my iPhone 6 plus with a thick Otter case). I gave it 4 stars only because I would have preferred a more sophisticated ball mount with maybe a short adjustment arm with a bubble gauge and some markings to get the camera relatively level instead of having to eyeball it, but for the price the ball mount it comes with does the job.

***(UPDATED REVIEW)*** Sturdy, Well-Made, and Great Extension
I purchased this selfie stick to use with my GoPro Hero5 and Hero7. This is really an excellent tripod.Good: The tripod legs are very sturdy and broad. This allows the tripod to be very stable in windy conditions or on sand etc.. The telescoping aspects of the selfie stick are excellent. They work easily whether you’re wearing gloves or not. A simple counter-clockwise turn of the stick then extend to the length you’ll use and a half turn clockwise to tighten. There are 3 extension sections on the stick so it can be about 3′ long when fully extended. This was a very nice feature this weekend when my son wanted to film a water snake up close. Also the ball and socket joint where the camera attaches provides some nice flexibility in how you’d want to set up your shot.Bad: Not much here. It is a bit heavy and even when fully compacted is longer than I’d like. It is not something that you can put in a pocket and take out when you’re ready for it, so I often carry it in a backpack. After several trips with the tripod, the legs of the tripod have gotten very loose. This creates a problem for me when I’m one-handed. When the product was new, I could open the tripod legs then set it down one-handed. Now that the legs are floppy it takes 2 hands to set it up. This may not impact most people, but is a hassle for me.What could be better: NOTE: this is very specific to me. Having some attachment or flexibility (beyond the ball and socket joint) at the top that would allow me to position my camera in different positions. One way that I use this selfie stick is for my kids’ baseball games or tennis matches. I want to set the tripod up near a chain link fence and get my camera looking through a hole so you can’t see the fence and I can record my kids batting or serving. Because the tripod legs are so long (remember this is a good thing) I can’t get my GoPro close enough to the fence. So some sort of flexible top where I could get the GoPro right against the fence would make this the perfect selfie stick for me.Overall, I’m very pleased with this selfie stick and would recommend it to anyone.*** UPDATE *** The way the telescoping arm works is you extend then twist to tighten. The neck collar of the selfie stick has stripped and will no longer hold the camera in the correct position. The extension stays locked in, but the camera itself spins in circles. This means that when you try to hold it out, the weight of the camera causes it to swivel and drop. This makes the selfie stick useless when being held by hand. It still works fine as a tripod. I lowered this from a 5 ***** rated product to a 2 ** rated product as it didn’t last long enough.

Easy to use but would have preferred it to be at least 5’5″ tall.
Good product but to short for creating 360 walk through images. The camera needs to be eye level for a good perspective.

Generally, a good buy
Only issue I’ve had is that it’s a little difficult to get a cell phone in and out of the cell phone holder. The spring is tight, which means the phone won’t fall out once in the holder but it’s difficult to grab to pull it apart.

It gets the job done
I like this item. It gets the job done, but it definitely feels a bit weird when trying to open and close it. It kinda feels as though you may break it with how hard you have to twist to get it to unlock to close it back up. It is pretty sturdy so it doesn’t feel cheap, bit just seems to get stuck sometimes. Overall it works nicey for taking 360 photos, which is what we use it for. When we opened the package, we got a card that said we won first prize with a scratch off and a link to claim. The link doesn’t work haha. Just FYI if anyone else is pulling their hair out trying to claim the prize also.

Great product but a little tricky (iPhone max)
So this is a solid product. It feels solid. The base is metal and it won’t just fall over. One issue is that the segments twist lock in place. When I got it I was thinking it looked a little shorter then expected. I looked st the pics online and said “wow they sent a wrong unit or it’s different!” The pictures online showed more segments. After some twisting and an unusually hard pull whammo it completely extended! I read some people complaining it was shorter then stated and this is why. You need to extend and then twist and make sure any other segments aren’t locked down. Once that was done it was a breeze. It goes down unlocked and opened and then I twist it locked in place. One note. I decided to keep the base attached to the stick. This makes it a little long about 16-18 inches if you do this. May look like a weapon. For me it’s easier to tie to my backpack and well … if I need to hit a pickpocket I’m ready! I’m using this with an iPhone Max and it works. The holder is a little tight but seems fine. Better then other sticks. So far this is the best stick I’ve had and the best with a tripod

Backcountry snowboarding approved!
I own two of these. Very convenient and easy to use. I like how it breaks down just shy of 13” with out the tripod attachment. Fully extended is about 37 1/2” which is just over 3ft without tripod attachment. You can also screw on additional selfie sticks. As I mentioned before I own 2. I can adjust both all the way up to 6’ 2” to bottom of camera fully extended. As for the phone holder. It can hold my iPhone XS Max protection case fairly tight. Bottom screw hole or back/flat screw hole on holder. Can attach different kinds of cameras. Has a GoPro style hinge & screw style included at tip of stick. Can be removed. Adjustable ball & socket that can Bend up to 90 degrees with lock lever. Screw hole at bottom of selfie handle too. Rubber handle with textured grip. I don’t like how it can twist and move with a little play but not a big deal to me. Has a nifty wrist strap. Tripod Aluminum base nice and sturdy. Full setup light weight. I easily store or stash these in any of my backpacks to go cycling or backcountry snowboarding & ski tours. I also use this with a Rylo 360 camera fully extended out of my backpacks. It gives me a very tight hovering drone looking footage. With that camera the stick is completely invisible except shadows in video footage. Even with rough bumps this stick doesn’t collapse during activities. Operates fine in very cold temperatures. I highly recommend this product and at that price it’s money well spent. Hope this helps you out and gets you great shots!

Awesome for my point and shoot camera, Works well with my Sony RX-100 II!!
**Note: this review is for pairing the selfie stick/tripod with a point and shoot camera**I absolutely love this! It’s sturdy, compact, looks good, and super practical. The quality of both the stick and tripod is fantastic, and feels comfortable to hold with the rubber grip. I use this for my compact/ point and shoot camera (Sony RX-100 II) and it fits the screw of the selfie stick. So far, I’ve have this for about 4 months and have brought this with me on vacations, to hikes, arboretums, and beaches, and with the tripod attachment I am finally able to take full-body family pictures and pictures with friends without needing to bug a passerby to hold the camera for us. My camera is heavier than most cell phones, but in tripod configuration and at its full extension, I didn’t have much issues with the stability of having a top heavy camera being supported with a small tripod at the bottom. However, I do take care to make sure its on leveled ground and try to place this on top of grass just in case it does tips over. On selfie stick mode, it does get a little uncomfortable/tiring at times when holding it for long periods of time and at half-extended length (center of gravity becomes pretty off so you really have to grip it) but I can forgive this since I don’t keep it at that extension often. I’d also would like to point out that this doesn’t extend very far, that even as a tripod fully extended, the shots would be taken at a pretty low elevation (about hip-level?) which might be a con if you’re looking to have something that can do eye-level shots. But otherwise if you’re okay with this, I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a great quality, portable, and stylish selfie stick that also functions like a tripod.

Works great with the Insta360 One camera – still able to go invisible.
Got this to go with my Insta360 One – 360 Camera and was having issues with it at first due to the black knob on the side that loosens and tightens the tripod head. The issue – it was showing up in my 360 videos/photos since it was so close to the camera. But I figured out that if I just rotate it to the side just a little bit – like my picture shows – then it becomes invisible just like it’s supposed to be! Perfection from just a little adjustment. So I thought I’d share that in case anyone else has that issue.Overall, I like the selfie stick and how you turn it to extend it and to lock it in. I love the tripod feet at the bottom. That part seems really well made and is really the reason I bought the whole setup. I wish that they made it so you could remove the tripod head and that there was just a 1/4 screw mount at the top. I really don’t need the tripod head – tho I like having the option for my gopro mount. It should definitely be removable. Then I would have had zero issues with it from the start!

A Quality Product!
I am totally pleased with this product. It is excellent value for the price and does everything that I hoped for! Though I’m not likely to use for ‘selfies’in the pop sense, I am very happy with the ease of setting it up as a small/compact/light weight tripod for use with my GoPro video camera or my Android. I’m using it to hold either device (GoPro or Android) for recording some of my classical guitar practice sessions. Set up is a snap! I love the attachment that grips my Android – so simple to use – which I then can screw onto the tripod with either a vertical or horizontal orientation – both are possible. The coupling attachment for use with GoPro is made with the GoPro mating foot in mind and so its a snap to secure the camera to the tripod as well. I have a heavier duty tripod that I purchased years ago for use with a 35mm camera. It is large and bulky and since my practice room is on the smaller side, I wanted something smaller that wouldn’t take up too much space. Although I had in mind a smaller table top tripod – this item in it most compact setup still sits too high for the tabletop viewing angle I had in mind. When fully extended it sits stably on the floor supported by its 3 legs which look designed to be spread to the full horizontal position as opposed to 45deg or so angles. This brings the camera to about eye level (I’m 6ft tall) as I sit in a chair to play guitar. The camera/android holder sits on a swivel head to permit variable angulation of the device. This tripod occupies a small footprint and sports a sleek black appearance sitting unobtrusively in my music room. I am impressed with its sturdiness and quality craftsmanship. Totally pleased with the purchase. Probably will order another as a last minute Christmas ‘stocking stuffer’ for my daughter who also plays classical guitar so we can share selfie videos.

Great for using phone as a webcam!
Perfect if you’re looking to use your cellphone as a webcam behind your monitor for a more flattering video! I didn’t want to spend $100+ on a tripod setup that I wasn’t sure about so I went looking for a cheaper alternative and I am very happy I found this product! It’s stable, compact enough for my desk with a hutch and it’s extendable/adjustable height pole works very well! The included cellphone attachment holds my Pixel 6 Pro (163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm (6.45 x 2.99 x 0.35 in)) and I don’t have to take it out of its protective case! As far as a selfie stick – I would feel perfectly confident using this product in a calm/controlled/studio environment but I would not recommend using the included cellphone accessory if you’re looking for something you can be physical with such as running, climbing, or jumping as I think the phone could slip out if enticed somehow.I highly recommend this product to any streamer or individual that’s interested in using their cellphone as a webcam. Your cellphone camera is way better than any webcam and nearly matches the quality of a DSLR so consider this option instead of spending way more money on something especially if you have an old cellphone sitting in a drawer that you could use as a webcam!

High Quality
I was looking for a selfie stick, and the tripod stand was a plus, but most reviews of cheaper items left you thinking that they were junk. Smatree is a brand that I have used before for a GoPro stick and the quality was excellent, but that was too bulky. This one is slimmed down and is still of great quality. Holds the phone securely. It cost more than those other brands, but you get what you pay for.Recommend

acceptable for price point
Not a bad selfie stick, but not something I would attach a $1000 phone. I’m using it for a GoPro. Stick “telescopes” by twisting to unlock. This process is not very smooth, but works and when “locked” seem sturdy enough. The “lock” for the ball head locks up which leave potential danger of it being accidently knocked down (unlocked). The rubber on stick itself will “rotate” when twisting to extend/retract rod – annoying but something I can live with. While the “leg” section is a bit heavier, I would be scared to attach anything but a GoPro with it standing by itself – if you absolutely need this feature, get a tripod or a monopod with “legs”. As a selfie stick, this product works fine.

Much better than I anticipated
I read the reviews here and decided to buy this selfie-stick mostly for a trip I have coming up and I’ll be using my Go Pro and I-phone to take pictures. It’s much sturdier than I thought – especially for the cost. I’m very impressed! Very well built and feels solid in my hands. I only post reviews of items I think are worthy of others knowing that the manufacturer went above and beyond designing something. This is one of them.

Ball head is why I get
I use underwater for diving video with my gopro, the pole has a hole to screw in connector to attach a retractor, best is it has a ball head to rotate camera easily. I get several dive trips out of them before the salt water does its thing, all of them eventually stop locking, or the head gets loose, but tradeoff is lightweight, not that expensive the ball head and it reaches out pretty well.

Works, 29″ selfie stick, 36″ with tripod
I haven’t used it yet–it seems like it will do what I need. I like the add-on tripod.Main reason I’m posting this review is to correct any issues with the length. The stick has 3 sections, the base, and two extensions for a total length of 29″. The tripod can add up 7 additional inches for a total length of 36″.The review saying it was only 21″ appears to have failed to fully extend the stick. Possibly the extension was stuck. It has a twist lock/unlock feature.

Lasted a whole summer roadtrip and more
This product comes with everything you need to make use of a go pro. While I was not a fan of the selfie stick attachment for the phone because it doesn’t allow for much movement of the phone to get a good selfie, the attachment for the go pro is very handy. I have now taken it on a month long road trip during which I swam with it in rivers many times. I did not need to take extra care to dry it and it still looks like new. The tripod attachment is also light and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product!

It’s just too cool!!
I love this thing!!! I bought it for our new Akaso v50 elite and I love the versatility. This thing feels great and seems well built. Had no problem unlocking the sections and they lock right back up nice and tight. I like the action camera holder much better than the one that came with the v50E! The nut can fall off the v50’s and the one that came with this stick stays in place. The cell phone holder is pretty good and has two mounting points to hold the phone sideways or up and down. It’s tight like others have said but it does hold my 8 pulse with an otter box defender style case just fine. I can’t say enough about the tripod. It’s well built holds the stick with my phone or v50 rock solid. The thing is just too cool! Take it off and mount the v50 right to it and it will hold it and any height you set it to and it’s nice to carry the cameras just on the tripod for better control. For the price it can’t be beat!

For the price this thing is great!
Remember. This is not a $100 stick. So be gentle with it and I’m sure you’ll get your money’s worth. The stick extending is sort of weird. You have to twist to extend then twist to lock it. I can see this being a problem breaking real easy so I’m going to take it easy and see how long this $25 stick lasts.I hope they improve the sturdiness of this stick. I would pay more for it to be built a little better. But over all I’m happy.

Overall good but issues creeped up.
Bought Feb 2019. Last week was probably 15-20th time using. I use snowboarding almost exclusively. Very sleek and low profile to slide into packs. Love that. Twist feature is fast to use. Love that. However, now the entire ballhead portion has “broke free” from handle(. I mean it now spins freely and no way to keep from spinning now. I think there was glue or adhesive that failed inside. Prior to that failing, I was starting to have some issues with one segment not coming out as I twisted to unlock and extend it. Got progressively worse in matter days. But again I use it in snow so I’m sure water/ice had gotten in so I cannot fully fault product as I’m guessing it’s not advertised as fully weatherproof. I’ll probably switch to flip tab lock style since I think in snow use, twist will fail sooner.

Good little stick and tripod for a light video camera like Canon Vixia HF R800.
It took me a little bit to get used to the clamp where the camera mounts, but after a few days I was fluid enough with it not to get mad. The tripod was stable enough the stick on the shortest setting to do time lapse in 5-10 mph winds with a light camera. I used it with a Canon Vixia HF R800. The stick was very stable at full extension and I didn’t have an excessive wobble with selfie style video shots. I few times when I was walking on rough terrain I would fully extend the stick and tripod and hold it close to the camera like a pistol grip and this would reduce a lot of the side to side swing of the walking motion. It was short enough compressed that I could easily fit it in my shoulder bag with the camera attached. I figured it was sturdy enough for self defense if had ever felt the need.

selfie stick with good extension and stand
This selfie stick has good extension length and includes a tripod stand. I setup my DJI Osmo Action on the tripod at the driving range to analyze my swing. The unit also comes with a cell phone holder mount which is nice. My only grip is the swivel lock tends to come loose occasionally. I wish the lock was a little bit more sturdy. All in all, I like the product and the quality is good. I do recommend this product.

Satisfactory.
For the price, I think it’s worth it. I will say, that you should use your own camera screw rather than the one this comes with. The rotating ring combined with the lock part, to keep the camera in place can be annoying. I don’t think it’s good for tricks or stunts, unless you can mod it for that. It’s still satisfactory. Also, to extend the stick, don’t twist hard. Just do a soft-right to loosen, & soft-left to lock.

Works pretty well so far. The turn to extend and turn to lock in place could potentially be problematic after a lot of uses, but I’m optimistic so far. The included tripod is very nice!

PORTABLE ENOUGH TO CARRY ON A BIKE RIDE
I wanted to get a tripod that is portable enough to carry with me on my bike rides. This was perfect, I can use my Garmin Virb XE camera, my mobile phone as well as my mirror less camera. I have used it on the mobile phone and my POV camera and it’s stable. I’m careful to set it on grassy areas in case it falls over. I have not tried it on my mirror less camera so can’t comment on that. One thing I’m not sure is, the promo pictures shows a person using it while swimming. There was no mention on it being water proof. I’m not sure if this can be used in beaches or in pools. I need to know because will be traveling overseas and planing on going to lots of beaches. Still a good selfie stick with tripod option.

I liked how easily and flat the legs open up but with a max height of 36” this isn’t going to make the cut.

Nice but could be taller
This is nice for performing 360 panos but it does have 2 small issues.1. I would prefer it to be taller. I also have the one from Ricoh for their Z1 and while it is expensive it take 360’s from my height.2. The tripod legs are very big. It isn’t a big deal but it means for work to remove the tripod legs from the image. However for the price this is not a bad deal. It doesn’t shake much and the legs detach so it can fit in a small case.

Excellent construction, so many possible uses!
In a sea of cheaply manufactured photo accessories, this product is an island of solid construction and apparent durability (haven’t used it in the field yet, but I am very optimistic). Every component is well-made and well-fitting, especially the base collapsible triple-support. The three-armed base is far better than a small tripod for supporting anything up to a substantial DSLR on a relatively flat surface, and is impossible to tip over by itself. With an adjustable ballhead (like the SIOTI Tripod Mini Ball Head Tripod Mount), and it is ready for work! With the collapsed extension, it is still far more steady than many tripods. At full extension, a compact or GoPro will still sit solid. I shoot a LOT of outdoors and backcountry, and this is just what is was looking for. Highly recommend!

Feels great. Works great. Looks Great.
I wasn’t expecting much from a < 25$ monopod + tripod and this has by *far* exceeded expectations. The build quality is much better than I was expecting and the functionality has been fantastic. I've used this with a Ricoh Theta V spherical cameras as well as with a GoPro Hero 5. I love placing the cameras directly on the tripod base if I need it on a desk/table and adding the telescoping monopod for some height. Probably won't be using this as a selfie stick anytime soon but I will be trying it with a full size DSLR to stabilize shots where I may be kneeling or otherwise low to the ground.Only improvement I could think of would be a higher quality ball head, as it's more difficult to level the camera than it should be, though that would likely raise the price significantly. 15 people found this helpful

For the doubters…
See too many reviews on this thing where people are saying it’s not as advertised. The picture will give you a measurement. Works great, it’s sturdy, lightweight, comes with the phone and GoPro attachment, and has a wrist strap as well as being a great stand. No complaints here.

Useful
I got this as an arm extender for placing my Action below water line, and as a tripod. Works well as a tripod. My only complaint is that the sturdiest Action holder only works one side up, which means it’s upside down when I extend it downwards. That one holds the Action from all four sides and is very secure. The clamp that I think would hold it either side up grabs the Action from the two sides and seems like it might slip off. Anyway, telescopes nicely and is generally sturdy. Glad I bought it.

I’m impressed
I got this as an experiment to see if I could rig something up to try and use it to hold the crystal ball for photos. It worked out better then expected and I really like the attachable feet. I’m strongly considering ordering another one to replace my mono pod that I normally keep in my car for my DSLR as the attachment will give better stability than the mono pod with out the bulk of a tri pod.Photo 1 shows the setup I used to take photo 2And photo 3 you can see a little bit of the selfie stick on the bottom and then photo 4 is the ending result

Does the Job, but Annoying to Use
I like how compact it can be, but the folding process is kind of irritating.

Definitely worth the money!
This is a great product. Its easy to extend to exactly the height you want and its pretty stable. The first one I ordered malfunctioned – I reached out to the company and they had a replacement at my door in 2 days. I don’t think this is the absolute best tripod on the market, due to the fact that you cant manually lock the tripod feet in place and easily get a level image, but you can adjust the device attachment to level-out, it can just be a little frustrating that way. However, if you are looking for a low cost-point tripod I think this is a great buy, and I will buy it again if i break this one. Also there’s one review stating that it doesn’t extend fully and that person is just dumb and didn’t know how to use it – he/she only had one extension activated – there’s another one.

Smatree selfie stick, phone holder, tripod
The selfie stick has a twist – extend ALL FOUR sections – twist to lock all four sections. FABULOUS!The spring loaded clamp in the phone holder is very high force. I ordered a screw clamp phone holder for $7.The tripod is clean, elegant, and not at all versatile. The UltraPod tripod, $24, has a fully adjustable swivel head and can lock to provide the same base function as the Smatree tripod, and is 120 grams vesus the 160 grams of the Smatree tripod. While I abandoned the phone holder and the tripod, for me the selfie stick is SO COOL, I am happy with the $22 for that alone. And the matching holder and tripod will work well enough for most situations. I’m just fussy, and ready to spend the extra money for more functionality and ease of operation.

Easy to use
I just got a Gopro and I am using this stick for it.It is easy to set up—just turn the sections and they lock in place. The tripod part is easy to attach as well. Can’t wait to take it on my trip in 2 weeks!

Great for the price
From light testing so far, feels very sturdy and quality, plenty far reach full extended, and invisible in 360 camera view(except for the tripod legs obviously. The only issue I’ve currently found is that the locking mechanism which keeps the camera either upright or rotates 90 degrees, while a great feature, is subpar for heavier action cameras (I used a GoPro Fusion 360). Overall, fantastic price to performance (quality) ratio.

Can’t beat it for the price
The stick is sturdy and light, very easy to grip. I have another brand that is slightly more compact and sturdier but, it has metal sections that rust and corrode even in damp situation. This one is all plastics and fiber except for the screw hardware so, no worries. Give it a good rinse after and it should be good for a long time. It’s just the right size and the wide detachable tripod legs are very sturdy – gives you a very stable platform. The twist to lock and unlock the extensions is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Really liking this one especially at this price point.

Cannot wait to use this!
I tested this out when it arrived. The phone clip fits my iphone 7 Plus WITH a case on it which is perfect. It arrived in an appropriately sized box with the tripod attachment separate. This is well made and looks like it will serve its purpose while also having a long life. It’s incredible how long this telescopes out. You can use it as just the selfie stick, or attach the tripod to take nice still shots or, record a tropical sunset, or even record yourself for a Vlog or nice video. The tripod attachment can be used on it’s own (as pictured) and set up with a phone or GoPro. It is very sturdy. I’m very happy with the purchase and i believe was worth the $23. Can’t wait to use it soon!

Nice quality, portable.
This is a nice item. Small and portable, not as tall as a “real” tripod but that would not be so portable. The metal looks and feels high quality. Also, the seller was very nice with a question. The box has a picture on it that shows just the selfie monopod, so I thought I was sent the wrong item, but actually there is a tripod base inside, even though it is not described on the outside of the box. It was packed very well. There are stickers on the selfie stick that instruct how to open/close it but they were in reverse to how it actually works. Also, the spring on the cell phone holder is very strong/tight and I was worried it would damage a cell phone (and/or its case), so I stretched/loosened it by stretching it for a few days over a wooden raining that was the right size for that.

Well built and material is great
Well built selfie stick. Aluminum material perfect. Very light to carry.
