Great starter monitor
This is my everyday monitor and it’s been doing a great job! The picture quality is good and the colors are very vibrant. I wouldn’t suggest using the built-in speaker though and would recommend either using headphones or attaching speakers to either your pc or the monitor itself. I comfortably video games using the monitor, but please make sure to remember to manually change the hertz or picture quality through the settings of your computer.

MONITOR THIS!
Replaced a nonworking ASUS with the monitor and couldnt be happier. I dont use it for gaming though. Its my middle mounted one in my office. I have my laptop, a 42 inch TV with an adapter this monitor and the 24 inch sceptre for my vertically mounted right side monitor. Colors are brite, refreshes fast, and turns on and off quickly! Highly recommend!

Easy on the eyes
I have enjoyed this monitor since its purchase a few weeks ago. It’s well made and packaged to avoid the unforeseen. I paired it with a monitor desk mount so that I can adjust the distance, orientation, etc. as it needs to change with my stand-up desk. What a powerful combination!The colors are good for my graphic design and photo editing work. Most importantly, it’s easy on the eyes with the blue light feature, especially after 12 hours staring at details on the screen. The speaker inside the monitor is clear, but I really don’t use it since I have a full-blown audio system.

Works Great with Two Laptops
Needed a full size display to use with two laptops. With two HDMI inputs, this fits the bill. Very impressed with the display, but it took some creativity to get set up exactly as I want (see mounting issues below).For office work, this monitor exceeds expectations. I absolutely love the display and the ease of switching from one laptop display source to the other. I’m not impressed with the speakers, but they’re functional enough for my needs.Mounting Issues: I did not care for the stand at all, not the right height or angle for me and doesn’t seem very stable. I used a generic monitor arm, but it’s worth mentioning that the input panel on this monitor is positioned in such a way that a mounting plate will cover the input ports! I was able to cut my mounting plate with an angle grinder and make it work.

Nice and affordable monitor
I bought this monitor as a TV to have in my room. I connected it to my Apple TV and the image quality is really good. I don’t like how the speakers sound though, so I had to connect my Amazon Echo Dot as well. I can also use it as a second display for my MacBook Air, either through AirPlay (Apple TV) or by connecting it through HDMI (this way the image quality is better). Also, the monitor does tilt as indicated in the description, but I had to push a little bit harder than I’d like to. It should also be better explained. I haven’t used it for playing games.

Exactly as described
Got this to replace a breaking old dell screen and it’s perfect. Arrived fine and was able to set it up easily. Don’t bother with the onboard audio. It’s rather low and is more or less a last resort.

Defective in less than a year’s use
I bought two of these monitors and just before I hit the year mark (February of this year), one of them started booting up incorrectly when waking my PC back up. I tried turning it off and back on again quite a few times, including actually unplugging the monitor. Each time it would display incorrectly but give different problems. Sometimes I would get horrible lines, sometimes I got image retention (not screen burn because when turning off the monitor and turning it back on again it would display incorrectly without the image retention). I called their customer service which put me in touch with their IT department to get this issue fixed. After consulting with them, they were to send me a box to ship the monitor back to them. Long story short, I never received a box. I contacted them again multiple times to send out a box. Every time I got excuses of the previous IT person “lied” and never sent a box. Run around over and over again and 6 months later I still have a broken monitor. Cherry on top, every time I called and spoke with a new person I had to “reprove” my monitor wasn’t working properly. I sent lots of pictures as proof and explained everything as best I could and it still seems like they weren’t taking me seriously.I work with a lot of Sceptre equipment with a corporation I work with and thought this was a good, reliable company to buy from. But, buyer beware, if you end up with a defective purchase, good luck getting a replacement.

Good monitor for the money, not high quality though
We bought this monitor so that we can expand the number of work stations at home since everyone is working from home and kids are distancing learning.The first thing I noticed when we turned it on is that the screen is not very clear. It has a glare free covering in it which is fine but when my daughter brings up pictures for her photo editing, it’s clearly not very clear for graphics. Yes, this is listed as a business monitor but I was thinking maybe that meant the refresh rate is not like a gaming monitor. But when my wife used it for work she noticed right away that it isn’t very clear. The glare free screen kind of takes away the brightness too. One thing I was kind of disappointed in is that there are only HDMI ports. I would think at this point in our technology world all monitors would come with HDMI and DisplayPort. But again, maybe because this isn’t supposed to be a graphics intensive monitor.The last negative I would say about this monitor is that it has a pedestal stand so there is only one leg in the middle. This monitor is big so with one leg, the monitor rocks constantly. Every bump of the table, high intensity clicks of the keyboard, a lot of mouse movement, it made the monitor rock and sway a lot. It just seemed cheap and on the verge of falling down. If you will use a mount then that would solve the problem but it’s just not as good of a monitor that I was hoping for.

I’m using this on a multicamera security system. It’s been running 24×7 for a couple months with no issues.My office has no windows and I use it a surrogate. Color, brightness, and clarity are all great. For me, it does one job very well.

Great entry level monitor for photo editing!
I’m getting more serious about my photography and part of that is needing to have a monitor that can run a full-color gamut and properly display colors – the problem is, most of these monitors are hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Yikes!!Enter Sceptre: This frameless monitor works great and has a beautiful image, printing very true to what I see on screen. It looks sleek and high-end, even if it does feel a little lightweight and “cheap”. The base particularly feels cheap, but still looks great. It has mounting holes for wall mounting which is super cool, and it works great right out of the box. I made some minor adjustments to the color, but nothing major – the out-of-the-box image was perfectly workable.The other thing I love about this monitor is that at this price point, I didn’t expect to see a 75hz monitor and didn’t realize how impactful it was in video gaming. It really makes a huge difference in fluidity and makes everything feel snappier and crisper, especially in games like Skyrim or Overwatch 2.All in all, I love this monitor and would recommend it to anyone. It’s a great entry-level cheap monitor that works well and gives high-end features at a low-end price point.Don’t sleep on this monitor!

Great, thin, wide monitors with nice display
These monitors really helped with my working from home productivity and I highly recommend them. The price was good for what I got but I did get two of these on Prime Day for a discount. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro and it works with these perfectly via cables that plug into my Thunderbolt ports (purchased the cable separately). Assembly does take a few minutes in terms of putting together the stand, but overall it is easy to do, and pretty much plug and play – just make sure you have the right cables. These monitors would honestly make a great TV replacement if you want to play movies on your computer, because they’re pretty much the size of a small TV and they look great – as someone who has watched Netflix on them occasionally. I will say they are a bit flimsy and wobbly if you bump them, so put them somewhere you won’t bump them around too much to be safe. Also, measure your desk because they are wide! No complaints here though – the screen real estate that these provide is excellent. I have used these for coding and Web browsing but I’m not a gamer, so I can’t speak to their gaming performance.

Decent monitor with 2 personal downsides
It’s a great monitor display wise. It is pretty wobbly like others have said and my desk gets bumped alot and the stand just seems pretty weak but I don’t think it’d break unless it was jostled pretty hard. The built in speakers which I look for in monitors was pretty disappointing. Very poor quality speakers. I expected more since I use to own a different Asus monitor with great speakers but these were lacking hard. They work but very poor quality.Overall I’m not disappointed for the price.

Nice monitor!
I really like the dimensions of the screen. It is a bit wider than I expected, which is great! The resolution and clarity are pretty solid, especially for $140 (at time of purchase – June 2023). I specifically purchased this monitor because of the sound driver built in. I simply wanted a decent screen that has audio out to plug into external speakers. It’s hard to find a low cost television that is 27″. I am using it for my home gym (in my garage). I mounted the monitor with a movable/adjustable wall mount at a height and position to watch TV while running on a treadmill because I hate exercise and need to have something else to do to take my mind off the suck. Anyways, I’m super happy with this screen and works perfectly for what I needed. I plug a fire stick into the HDMI. The speakers built in absolutely suck, but that’s okay because I use the audio out (aux) to run to better speakers.I haven’t used the screen for gaming, but movies look great! Also the monitor frame is super thin and looks great! Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional OOTB
Knocked my other monitor right off the desk – busted. This one was orders and showed up in record same PM timing – 4 hours! I’m highly impressed. Comparison: Right next to my acer monitor – this monitor has mostly pros with just a few cons. Overall this is an very exceptional value for both business-office use and video/streaming users. Pros: The color is vivid and crisp with very useable settings and slight to strong blue light % drop options. Monitor is sharper in the correct way, but colors are not as wide/more colors. So definitely newer LEDs but not necessarily better than higher/more expensive competitors. Unit wights hardly nothing, but packs a performance punch that matches and exceeds rivals processing-wise. Appearance looks bigger than my other 27″, because of the semi-edgeless’ design – not full/close edgeless, which is good enough for me. Cons: The menu function is only 5 buttons with no directional button, which takes getting used to, but it works fine and easy. Top button is enter, bottom button is power on/off. Button up from bottom is exit. Middle two are up/down:left/right. I’m glad I chose this one! Only time and video side:by:side comparison will tell with as close to similar settings as possible, but don’t need to wait when you need it asap. Thanks!

Great for the price
The price for a 27 inch monitor was hard to pass up. I bought two for a dual screen setup. I picked this one because it was on a limited time deal and it said it was 99% sRGB. I replaced two Dell 23 inch IPS monitors with two of these and the size makes a huge difference, but going from the IPS panels to these, the Sceptre just looks very dull and washed out compared to the Dell IPS. I was going from just a plan old LCD these would probably look brilliant, but going from an IPS panel where everything was crisp, sharp and colors just popped, these are a bit of a let down.If you are coming a higher end monitor, this will not look as vivid… if you are used to basic LCD then this will look great.

It’s a cheap monitor
I needed a monitor. I wanted big and cheap. This fit that bill. But it is what it is. It’s not a super dynamic range display. Picture is crisp after you adjust it. Coming from a 2007 LCD it’s a step up. Compared to some of the super-high end monitors; well…just remember it doesn’t cost that much.It did develop 3 stuck sub-pixels in a week. One pixel isn’t stuck as much as it is operating inverted. I can tell it’s a problem with the column too because it’s behavior depends on on the pixels above it.

Great for the price
Excellent product for the price. Nice build. My only issues: I have it set up on a standing desk – tends to shake a little bit when I raise the desk up. I think that’s more a result of my not-perfectly-level apartment floor. I’m not a gamer, but I’m using this monitor for heavy photo/graphic/video editing. Very strong display, great for all of my work.ONE LAST THING: Hadn’t seen anybody else mention it in a review, so I felt like I should – I was hoping to run audio from computer HDMI to monitor HDMI speakers, but then have my external speakers plugged into the Auxillary port on the monitor. Sadly, the volume levels were very poor when wired this way, so instead I’m running my speakers’ RCA>3.5mm straight into my computer. Not a huge problem, but thought anybody out there should know in case they were hoping for a similar setup.

I am very pleased with this monitor. I only gave 4 stars because of the speakers. I love the larger screen and everything about the monitor except for the speakers. My regret is that I gave away a good set of speakers. I know the speakers are there, but barely. Speech is gibberish and extremely hard to hear.

Bright, crisp display
I bought one of these because I was tired of trying to read blueprints on a small monitor. I immediately was impressed with both the quality of the monitor and the brightness. The text is crisp on stream and video is smooth. The monitor is also extremely light weight and the arms on my display mounts have no issue holding them in place. My only complaint is that I had to buy a Display Port to HDMI cable as the monitor has no Display Port on it. The sound isn’t great, but I don’t use the monitor for sound.Overall, great monitor. Would recommend.

vibrant colors but not exactly bright.
Purchased to replace a 6 yr old asus 21.5″ led monitor (nothing wrong with the old monitor, just wanted a bigger screen).Currently connected via hdmi -> hdmi. Just ordered a DP -> hdmi to test with. Will update if it affects the review. Let’s get to the Pros:* Interior packing seem to cushion the screen well (no visible damage to screen)* Assembly was quick (2 screws to the arm to the back of the screen, and rotate to lock base in place)* Screw cover and screw driver included* Power cable nice and long (i only needed 3 ft, plenty to keep coiled up)* No profile frame is very pretty (so thin)* Colors are very vibrant (kids play a lot of roblox, lots of color variants and looks wonderful)Now onto the cons:* A little dim. No where as bright as the old led monitor (especial during the day)* Video inputs are back facing* Control buttons are on the back of the monitor* Stand is flimsy and rocks a little when using the control buttons to turn on/off the monitorAll in all, the kids are enjoying the bigger monitor, but i am concerned about the brightness and the wobbly stand. I’m about 50/50 on buy another one. We do need another monitor for the 2nd school computer, but I’m not certain this is the one.Edit: The sound is terrible. I usually use headphones but had to use the built in speaker on a pinch. Even @ 100% it is bare audible. Dropping my review by 1 star.

Awesome monitors!!
I was very skeptical of these monitors, but I think they give better picture quality than my 400$ dell gaming monitor!!😜 the picture quality is awesome, the speakers could get you by, but I would recommend a different long-term plan.I bought 3 for my work setup and live them, I’m very happy!!

Decent monitor
The screen quality is pretty good, can’t complain for this price point. I wouldn’t recommend this monitor for the built in speaker, though. The sound quality is not great but it gets the job done if you’re ok setting the speaker volume at 90+

The display is fragile. The stand sucks. The warranty is meaningless.
I had a set up of two matching 27″ Sceptre monitors purchased about a year apart. I am an attorney and work almost exclusively from my home office unless I’m in court. So, monitors are very important for my productivity. The quality of the image is fine for office tasks for the price range, though not the best. But the real problem is how fragile these are and the lack of assistance even when you handle it properly. I had both set up via a swiveling double mount, which worked fine for keeping at the viewing height. In the process of moving last month, just 6 months after purchasing, I needed to move my work set up to a different room of the house while our furniture was packed up. I carefully removed both monitors from the mount and put them on a bed. I then moved to a folding table in another room as my temporary set up, and I opted to use the manufacturer’s cheap stands. The screws had stripped from the first time I used them, and I could barely get them secure (don’t use their screws if you buy this). When i finally got my monitors set up, however, the newest one appeared to have damage across the bottom half of the screen rendering it unusable. When I touched the area of the screen, it moved like liquid. I have purchased at least 4 Sceptre monitors in the past few years due to the warranty, even buying an extra 24″ baseline Sceptre to use at my parents’ house so I had an external monitor for work. Given it was past 30 days for an Amazon refund, I completed Sceptre’s warranty form feeling lucky I was within a year of purchase, and awaited a response. Several days later, they emailed me asking for pictures and video of the malfunction. I explained how I handled the monitor carefully and nothing significant happened in the moving process, and included pictures. Given that it should not be so fragile that moving it to another room and attaching the included stand causes it to malfunction, I expected a refund or replacement. After sending the email, CS responded that they do not replace or refund monitors when there is “physical damage” and their techs determined that I must have done something to it. They refused to do anything and suggested I contact Amazon, which of course is a meaningless suggestion, given the known purchase date. I have now purchased another larger display by a different brand with a better warranty and reputation for standing behind it. If my remaining Sceptre survives it, I am converting it into a wall mounted static Dakboard display and I will never purchase another Sceptre monitor given this experience. They are so delicate and fragile, they can’t survive being moved or the installation of their own manufacturer’s mount. That would be acceptable if the screen quality was worth it and Sceptre stood behind the warranty when it malfunctioned. But that isn’t the case here. You get the runaround and then a response that they don’t actually do what they claim they will do. It is a finicky product and didn’t even last me a year.

Ok, speakers are really quiet
Good price, Speakers are pretty quiet in the back so might want to attach your own. Also, it’s a pain to change the brightness on the monitor. You have to go deep into the setting of the screen and choose a USER option to dim it. Otherwise the screen is WAY too bright

I bought one for my classroom. I liked it so much I bought another for my home. It’s a great price and neither has given me any issues. I’ve never noticed any screen tearing when playing games. I felt compelled to write a review for this monitor after seeing a lot of negative reviews recently.First off, my old 27″ Dell monitor that I’ve been using to work from home with died after 8 years of use. You just can’t go back to working on a 14″ laptop screen all day when you are used to 27″.This Sceptre was the cheapest 27″ monitor available on Amazon today and was available with Same. Day. Shipping. I was floored. Read through the reviews and the recent ones weren’t that flattering, but seeing how I had to work today, I needed a monitor and pulled the trigger.True to their word, received the monitor today, just after 2pm. Packaged well. No damage to the monitor or screen upon unpacking. Very simple to put together, just twist the stand onto the base, attach the stand to the back of the monitor and screw in 2 screws. They even included a screw driver so I didn’t have to hunt for one.The screen is perfectly fine for at home work crunching data in Excel spreadsheets, designing Power BI dashboards or working on Word documents. I don’t plan on Gaming with this monitor, so it meets all my expectations for a business monitor, as it is labeled and sold as. Another user complained of it being wobbly but I have not found that to be the case. Perhaps they did not screw in the 2 screws tight enough.TL;DR – Perfectly fine business monitor for work. Don’t be put off by negative reviews.

good for the price.
I do not waste my time gaming So I just bought this for it’s cheap price And it is a cheap large screen. with a decent picture. and it does that fine. the picture is clear and good and worth the price I paid for this screen. It has a hdmi input which I used My computer does not output sound both from the green output and hdmi. But I tested the speakers and they are very small and you should go with a separate speaker set up like mine,. I have klipsch computer speakers and a sub that is part of them NIce sound, If you use the tiny speakers in this tv you only have yourself to blame. So good for it’s priceline for sure picture wise. As others have stated the stand is flimsy but not a problem if it’s sitting on your desk unless a earthquake happens or a russian attack or something extreme comes around. So it will do the job , it’s gotta a decent picture and good size. that’s enough , right?

Just what I needed!
First let me say that this is a computer monitor, not a sound system. I’ve never depended on a monitor for good sound since the old days of video monitors. If you want great sound you had to buy a sound card and some speakers. These days all you have to do is buy some speakers and plug them into your computer and get reasonably good sound. So, I’m not reviewing the sound. This is a computer monitorI bought this monitor because my ten year old computer died and I thought it would be a good idea to buy a new one instead of a new drive for the old one. Great move, new computer had an SSD drive and boots so much faster. However, it didn’t work well with my old thirty-five inch flat screen TV, lots of overscan and no possible way to adjust it, either in the TV or the computer. So it was time for a new monitor.Granted twenty-seven inch is a step down from thirty-five inch, but this monitor worked perfectly right out of the box. Plugged in the power, plugged in the HDMI, turned it on and my Windows desktop was shown in full, no more overscan!I was upset that the angle of the stand had the computer tilted toward me at about a five degree angle. But I’m an idiot, it’s been a tough week. After re-reading the description I grabbed the sides of the monitor and tilted it up to the perfect viewing angle. I’d completely forgot that one of the selling points on this monitor was the adjustable stand. SO HAPPY NOW!For less than $150 this is a great monitor. Sharp and clear, easy to read, and nice colors.

Exelente para Colombia
La verdad siempre te dan dudas del tema envío desde tan lejos, pensé sinceramente que iba a llegar hecho pedazos pero todo muy bien, te envían la caja original, es decir sin nada de Amazon que lo cubra porque es bastante grande la caja, pero muy bien protegido el monitor internamente con el embalaje de parte de la marca. Tengo un monitor Samsung de 24 75mhz también, que por casi el mismo precio de este pues te funciona lo mismo. Al inicio lo ví mal, muy amarillo o mucho contraste tal vez, pero le vas moviendo ajustes de colores y temperatura, etc., y te anda francamente bien, por el precio me parece muy bueno, en ese rango de características aquí en Colombia el costo casi que se duplica. Aclaro lo conseguí en BF pero aún a precio de hoy es más económico que uno aquí en el país. Tiene buena conectividad, al menos a mí me sirve que tenga dos HDMI. El sonido si es muy malo, muy bajo, te diría que no lo compres por eso, pero a alguien seguramente le parecerá útil, por ejemplo como extensión del micrófono está perfecto para trabajar.

Great for home office
Great for working from home, I picked up two of these and the both work fine. I wouldn’t use for gaming. Fine for normal, everyday, online stuff.

Volume control
Just received and hooked up this monitor. It’s a very nice moonitor for the price. Just a couple of things. The monitor will wobble at the slightest touch or if you bump into the table it’s on. Almost like a bobble head. The bigger issue is the volume control. You can only accerss it from the buttons on the back panel and by pressing the buttons to scroll through the options to get to the volume. Once there, then you can increase or decrease the volume. You have to repeat this each time you want to adjust the volume. Not the most convenient. Maybe if it had two independent volume buttons that were easily reachable would be a lot better instead of scrolling through the options to get to the volume. The built in speakers don’t seem ty get that loud even on 100%. I’m using my older speakers.

Again, Totally Impressed with Another Refurbished Product!
This also looked brand new, as did the PC I ordered with this monitor. This looks like an expensive monitor. The picture was crystal clear and the screen quality was flawless. Highly recommend!

It’s good
The monitor it’s really good and really easy to use but the speakers are really bad and low volume, if you try to connect speakers they will sound bad too with a weird noise but without audio or using a Bluetooth speaker it is perfect
