Best option when comparing quality vs price!!
I’m not a gamer but my 9 year old son is so I try to be a supportive father and get him all the things he needs for gaming. I did my homework and found this amazing deal that honestly I would have gladly paid more money for. I’ll be ordering him a 2nd one soon because he’s getting a PC for Christmas. This is what cool Dad’s do so don’t hesitate get one while you can!!

Best features and performance to price sub-$300 gaming monitor on Amazon!
Was shopping online with my son for his first gaming PC (which we decided upon an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU with Nvidia RTX 2060 Super GPU model) and I quickly realized handing him down my old Samsung 27″ 1080p 60hz LCD monitor as was the original plan would have been a total waste of his new computer! So having saved a couple hundred bucks buying a pre-built instead of building our own with the same specs (as PC components are experiencing shortages cause of COVID-19 and have gone up drastically in price), I told my son he could pick out any monitor on Amazon he wanted on a budget of $300, and he picked out this one.I could instantly see why he chose this model which at 30″ was bigger than most other gaming monitors with decent specs at this price range and it was an ultrawide, which made me proud (like him being a chip off the old block) as I game on a 49″ super ultrawide monitor myself. But the real “wow factor” of this model, of course, is the 200hz refresh rate which is a rarity in itself especially for ultrawides but almost unheard of at this price range. The only thing I wasn’t sure about was I wasn’t familiar with the Sceptre brand. Generally as a rule I’ve stayed away from buying displays from lesser-known manufacturers as with panels you often get what you pay for and “cheap” usually turns out more “expensive” in the long run, if not just “frustrating” and “disappointing”.But this was my son’s computer and his pick for the monitor and I was proud that he did all his own research so I wanted to support him. So Sceptre it was!Well I’m glad I didn’t say anything cause this monitor rocks! The colors looked great straight out of the box and I haven’t felt the need to do any calibration of any sort. Contrast and blacks are above average on this display and well beyond my expectations for a sub-$300 model. Even though there’s no HDR and I believe it’s rated at just 250 nits, it looks much brighter than that, possibly because of its high native contrast. But what both my son and I were most looking forward to see, of course, was how it performed at 200hz. So I fired up 3DMark and ran a few benchmark tests and…WOW!The motion on all frame rates was buttery smooth. On some tests we were reaching fps of over 600 so we knew we hit the monitor’s 200 frames per second limit and it looked incredible! No tearing or ghosting or any sign of distortion whatsoever. My own 49″ super ultrawide only goes up to 144hz and I could see a discernible difference in frame rate running identical tests on our PCs both of which were pushing frames well beyond the limits of our monitors. This monitor’s 200hz refresh rate is legit!Another great feature of this monitor is its support of AMD Freesync. It worked flawlessly with my son’s RTX 2060 Super both in fullscreen and windowed mode, even though the Nvidia Control Panel said the monitor wasn’t “validated as G-SYNC Compatible”. I’ve actually had problems in the past getting this compatibility feature to work on other Freesync monitors so was really relieved to find it working perfectly on the Sceptre.Overall this is a fantastic gaming monitor that performs well in all its highlighted and advertised features, and phenomenally when you also factor in its price. Highly recommended and most importantly for me is my son couldn’t be happier!

Great monitor but by no means the best!
Let’s start off with the positives, shall we? I got this monitor when it was on a discount at around half the price! It has 200hz refresh rate so you will almost never have to worry about bad framerate. I personally like the feature to be able to switch between all inputs. I have my PC and consoles hooked up through HDMI all accessible through a small menu. It also had HDR which depending on the games, it may look good or bad, but I can’t say anything bad about it. The monitor also has AMD FreeSync which is pretty cool because I use AMD hardware. Now time for the downsides… By the “From the manufacturer” heading when you scroll down on the page, it mentions an “edgeless design.” I can say more than certain that it has quite the edge that is very noticeable. The pictures show it with smaller edges too! Some other downsides that the RGB is only red or none. Another design feature I dislike is the stand for it. I cannot stand that the stand takes up a lot of space. The angled feet make it really easy for it so slide off something it is close to the edge of a desk. For me, the stand and rear design tried too hard to look gamer-ish.The downsides are not enough to knock off more than one star. This is a monitor I DO RECOMMEND.

I wish I could still return it
IT expert here three months later. This monitor looks great. But its firmware is so poorly designed that I wouldn’t even gift it to my worst enemies. I really wish I just returned it when I first plugged it in. It’s caused nothing but headaches. Beware. The physical buttons to control monitor settings are more like suggestions than commands to the monitor. The best way to describe this piece of scrap is it’s a formula one car with the body duct taped together. Save yourself. Don’t buy it.

Great Product
Perfect size for my setup , really easy to setup for someone who’s never setup or had a monitor before , straight forward manual with step by step guide on how to use the menu to get the right settings for what you’ll be using the monitor for , the curved screen design is perfect for me as I’m using it for gaming so it makes seeing everything all at once that much easier all while having great color display and various options within the menu. Overall great product !!

DISCLAIMER – Several things to cover here!
Eleven days of owning and no issues, but after reading the reviews and seeing all of this crap said about DisplayPort ports dying, non-mountable, not powering on, Sceptre isn’t a brand name.I’m left to ask a serious question. Are any of you taking into mind what comes with the monitor, taking advantage of it, and using the right equipment.I’m gonna cover a lot of this in this review.’Sceptre is not a brand name’___________________________What? Sceptre is a relatively big brand and a decent one at that. Though they’ve always been on the budget friendlier side of the equation, and there’s tons of research you can do on it to reinforce my claims.’DisplayPort dying within a month’________________________________If this ever happens, there are several things that need to be considered.1. Was this during a graphics driver update? If so, unplug the DisplayPort cable, connect an HDMI, DDU your drivers, and install again with the cable in fresh.2. What kind of DisplayPort cable are you using? I don’t care if the monitor came with one. I don’t care if you have a DisplayPort cable laying around.Purchase a VESA Certified cable and ONLY use VESA Certified cables like this one – https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CD1FB3A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Cables can kill a DisplayPort rendering it entirely useless. Stop being cheap and making up excuses for your monitors port dying out.’How do I mount the monitor?’____________________________There’s a VESA Certified mounting plate that comes with this monitor. You need to already have a mount setup and ready to use, and be ready to make sure the mount supports the monitors weight. After that, attach the mounting plate to the monitor, and then screw it in with the screw provided for the stand. After that, you want to mount this to your VESA mount, yes it will flex the plate, but at least it’s keeping the monitor stable. Continue to mount until tightened. All mounts should be compatible. Please stop coming to Amazon ready to complain about something you may have caused on your own.Sceptre doesn’t deserve to be strung out all over the place because of human error. If you encounter any sort of issue on opening, you need to be in their Amazon messages issuing a return or RMA, not writing asinine reviews and giving the company a bad rep.Onto my opinions! This is a budget monitor, it has BUDGET MONITOR ISSUES.The monitor looks great, sure. Though I will say, this monitor doesn’t exactly achieve the whole ultrawide appeal to the fullest extreme. Yes, it’s great. Though I feel wider would’ve been a little more genuine to the ultrawide claim. So far, I love it. Though I have noticed, if you don’t mess with the settings properly, there is ghosting, dull looking image, and so on.NVIDIA users should completely avoid this monitor. There’s been countless reports of this monitor flat out not achieving 144Hz+ 100FPS+ goals on this panel. A lot of it seems to lean to this monitor being tied to FreeSync and not cross compatible.I use an RX 5600 XT and have hardly any issue. All of these things need to be taken completely into account before you buy this.I can recommend this monitor to responsible people who are actually going to verify issues, and obtain the proper equipment before purchasing, as you should.I like it, I will likely be upgrading though. This is likely going to be a media monitor for me in the near future, just because I think I’d like stacked ultrawide panels and a different panel.Gaming works fine on here, though there’s a reported issue of ghosting at 200Hz. I can’t test this myself, though I’m sure it’s something that can be fixed.Hopefully everything I covered was at least of some use to people, thank you for reading.

Worth the money
One thing I would like to say is that it can be hard to plug stuff into the ports. Other than that, it’s an amazing monitor. Works great, came undamaged, and it has tons of cool settings. I like how you can change the color of the lights on the back. The one downside is that you cannot change the height, but at least you can tilt it up/down.

Surprisingly good for a budget monitor
I got this monitor because my desk space wouldn’t properly fit two 1080p 24″ monitors, and it’s easier to stay focused when everything is all on one screen. I was surprised and skeptical when I found this monitor because it’s a 30″ ultrawide with good reviews, but a lesser known brand. I had a Sceptre monitor back in the CRT display era, so I decided to give it a shot, since the monitor I had back then worked perfectly fine throughout its use.Pros:- Surprisingly bright, I had to turn it down to 50% for white background windows/browser pages.- Very clear for colors and detail, it seems noticeably better than the monitors I had previously. I can’t speak to professional color schemes, since I primarily use it for programming work and gaming.- Buttery smooth. I didn’t think I would notice much difference between 144hz and 200hz, but it does seem even smoother. Competitive games like CS:GO will definitely show a difference.- PIP and PBP capability, which is fantastic for when I actually need two monitors. I can use the same source (main PC HDMI and DP) for both monitors also.- 4 ports allows me to have two setups with dual monitors, one for work laptop and one for main PC.- Supports standard 1920x1080p resolution, although the desktop will stretch and games/applications might have the “black bar” effect, which doesn’t really bother me much.- 1 DP and 3 HDMI (the DP can support up to 200hz, HDMI 1 can support up to 165hz, and HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 can support up to 85hz)- OSD is extremely intuitive, and the buttons at the bottom make sense. I didn’t even need the manual.- Costs the same as two budget 24″ 1080p monitors.- I appreciate the blue light reduction settings, makes it easy on the eyes.- Has speakers and doesn’t require headphones to use them. They have pretty decent quality for a monitor.- The screen is about as tall as a standard 1080p 24″ monitor (which is what I’m used to), the screen size itself is 27.8″W x 16.1″H (30″ diagonally)Cons:- PBP for dual monitors stretches the displays to fit, making both look compressed, kind of annoying but not much can be done without changing both desktop resolutions. PIP mode can work well for fixing this too if you don’t mind sacrificing part of your main screen.- “Black bar” effect on applications that don’t support 2560x1080p, expected with an ultrawide monitor though.- The stand that comes with it is kind of short, raising the screen maybe 6″ above the desk. Tilt works to fix this a bit.- Backlight is dim and only glows red, but it can be turned off.- FreeSync works, but I’ve had some trouble getting it to work properly (never had much luck with FreeSync anything though).I will update if I encounter any problems, but I’m very impressed so far.Updates after a few days of use:- The monitor is VESA mountable with an included bracket (75×75 pattern) designed to go on the back of the monitor (in place of the stand). The monitor is about 12.15lbs, fairly light for a monitor of this size, so it should fit most VESA mounts. If you have a VESA mount larger than 100×100, you might want to consider using longer screws and standoffs, since there is a small overhang on the back of the monitor that might block larger VESA mounts from laying flush when screwing into the included bracket.- Some of my previous monitors had about 1ms response time, and this monitor has 5ms response time. I don’t think it is hugely noticeable, but in fast paced competitive games, you might see mild ghosting if you’re used to faster response times. Like most curved monitors, it’s a VA panel, so the slower response times are somewhat expected.

older tech, but a good value
Got one for my son a while back, and he liked it better than the flat 32″ I wanted to give to an elderly friend. This Christmas came early (with $600 off of his new gaming machine, so his letter to Santa including specs worked out). Happily, this same model of monitor was still available, so he has a semi-wrap-around experience.Sceptre isn’t the best, but they are far from the worst. Works well for him, and we hooked up one of my flat-screen LGs next to it, and could not tell any difference in picture quality.

Great Monitor with Glaring Caveats
First, I’d like to point out that I upgraded to this from an LG 29 inch IPS Ultra Wide from 2017 that died on me. Coming from a nice IPS display to this, I can see the clear difference between a VA and an IPS panel, as the colors have less pop, but that’s to be expected. Moving on…The construction is really nice and the features are all great. Even though this isn’t much bigger than the LG monitor I came from, iot feels like a much larger screen. Maybe that’s the effect of it being a curved display? It’s very interesting to me. The 200hz refresh rate is great and I can clearly notice the difference when playing games like Overwatch, Quake Champions, and Warframe at these high refresh rates. Freesync, as always is also great. I do not experience any real motion blurring that people have mentioned can happen with VA panels with this high of a refresh rate. For reference, the PC I paired this with is with a Ryzen 7 1700 at 3.9ghz and a Radeon RX 580 8GB.I want to point out that, unlike the LG monitor I had, this supports true Picture-in-Picture. I love this feature, as I have my PS4 hooked up to this monitor via HDMI as well, and love that there is a spare HDMI connection to go. PIP is such a big feature for monitors like this, so I am happy to see that here. Now, for probably the biggest caveats of the display, which makes it a bit frustrating to use.1.) I have this screen mounted to a vertical stand. The included VESA wall mount adapter works fine, but as I saw another reviewer mentioned, it does not give proper clearance for the screw that some of these VESA wallmounts use. Though it will flex against that middle screw, I only have this partically screwed in at the four corners. I don’t think this will cause the display to fall, as it is light (and really, it is 4 industrial screws, this thing does not have enough leverage to snap those), but it would be nice if the adapter had a built in indent to compensate for that screw.2.) This one is the most important. When Freesync is enabled, the display will stretch any connection to the full size of the monitor over HDMI. I was really scratching my head trying to figure out why my PS4, no matter the display setting I chose, kept stretching the PS4’s output to fill the screen. I was only able to correct this by disabling Freesync in the OSD. This is cumbersome, as I like to switch between both displays. I am sure this is something that can easily be corrected via a firmware update, so if someone from Sceptre is reading these, please put in the time to correct this. Otherwise, this monitor is fantastic, and I am very happy with it.I hope this review is found to be helpful, as this is a brand new monitor on the market. I took the risk, as Sceptre was one of the first screen manufacturers to make a 1080P budget HDTV back in 2008, which was my first HDTV. I really loved that TV, and the friend I gave it to still uses it to this day with no issues. So far, this display is great, outside of the cumbersome Freesync glitch.

**Design and Build Quality (4.5/5):**The Sceptre 30-inch Curved Gaming Monitor is a true beauty in terms of design. The curved display adds a level of immersion that’s hard to match, and the slim bezels contribute to a sleek and modern aesthetic. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy stand and premium finish that exudes durability.**Visual Experience (5/5):**Gaming on this monitor is an absolute joy. The 2560×1080 resolution and the refresh rate deliver stunning visuals and incredibly smooth gameplay. The curved design wraps the screen around your field of vision, enhancing immersion and making you feel like you’re right in the action. Colors are vibrant, and blacks are deep, thanks to the monitor’s excellent contrast ratio.**Performance (5/5):**This monitor is a powerhouse for gaming. The high refresh rate and quick response time eliminate motion blur and ghosting, ensuring every frame is crisp and sharp. Whether you’re into fast-paced shooters or immersive RPGs, this monitor handles them with ease. FreeSync technology further enhances the gaming experience by reducing tearing and stuttering.**Connectivity (4.5/5):**The variety of ports on this monitor is impressive. You’ll find HDMI, DisplayPort, and even a USB hub, which is incredibly convenient for connecting peripherals. The inclusion of audio-out ports means you can easily connect external speakers or headphones.**Ergonomics (4/5):**While the stand is solid, it offers limited adjustability with only tilt functionality. Some users might prefer additional options like height adjustment or swivel, but the curve of the screen partially compensates for this limitation.**Value for Money (5/5):**Considering the features and performance it offers, the Sceptre 30-inch Curved Gaming Monitor provides exceptional value for its price point. You’re getting a high-quality gaming experience without breaking the bank, making it an excellent investment for both casual and competitive gamers.**Overall (4.5/5):**The Sceptre 30-inch Curved Gaming Monitor is a fantastic addition to any gaming setup. Fast super fast refresh rate, and quality is crazy high. Up to 5k with Upscaling
This monitor is a beast, 5k at 40-70 FPS, 4k at 70-90 FPS, and 2k at 90-190 FPS. Do I need to say more? It is colour-perfect as well but needed a small tweak to make it even more so. Settings are easy, and the white balance is easy on the eyes at night. FreeSync makes it awesome with AMD 20GB 7900XT. Ray tracing looks awesome on it, and I can’t sing its praises enough. I also have a 1080p version on my son’s PC at 180HZ, but this one is a sweet 200HZ. I uncapped a game and got up 250FPS, so it can scale high.

Great Gaming Monitor
I had to figure out how to change my resolution on the Xbox series S. The resolution is to low on the Xbox You have to manually change the resolution in the settings and your monitor will be clear for gaming. It took me 3 days to figure it out with a lot of YouTube videos and friends help. Love the monitor.

Everything you could dream of!
My wife and I are gamers. I was gaming off a different monitor that got the job done and she gamed off a TV. As an early Christmas present, she wanted l to upgrade me to a new monitor, something bigger and better and what not. We did lots of research, and read reviews and specs of this monitor. It seemed to have all I wanted and needed, so we purchased it!Let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations I had! The graphics are amazing, the refresh rate is incredible, the brightness is a big plus for me. It’s very sturdy, and I love the wide-curve display. The price point is great, and it’s well worth the money spent. As soon as I started playing on it, my wife got super jealous and wanted one too! So I bought her one too, and it’ll be here in two days! Lol!

Designed for gaming with the right PC Hardware. Not designed as a MAC Gamer.
One drawback is when it comes to PC’s and Monitors, you won’t know for sure until you try it out for yourself. You can ask the seller questions, but sometimes the question you should have asked isn’t obvious until the thing is sitting on your desk. It may boil down to something very specific to your application/environment/ergonomics that the seller, or even the manufacturer can’t give you a definitive answer because of the subjective nature of sitting in front of a screen for hours at a time. A big help for me in determining which to order is to download the user manual and quick set-up guides from the Manufacturer Website. By carefully reading the specs and going through the OSD Menu entries I am sure that what I’m ordering, at least on paper, has the right specs. This way, the monitors should have all the right comparable specs and you should end up with what you really want. Still, as was it was in my case you may have to try it out before you can finalize the purchase. I need a widescreen curved monitor such as this 30″ Scepter with PBP (split screen) so as to be able to work on documents from two different inputs, i.e. two PC’s. So I am reviewing this from more of a business angle, not from a Gaming criteria. Basically, it is a simple, single-purpose gaming PC Monitor. If used just for gaming on an Nvidia Graphics PC, it works as advertised. You’ve got to match video cards, max res, number and type of inputs, hdmi 1.4, 2.0? Is Displayport 1.2 enough? I finally narrowed down to a 30-32 inch 21:9 ultrawide, curved, (gaming) monitor though I would only use it for business. I need a split screen with quick and easy transition from one input to another. To change inputs from one PC to another on this monitor requires 11 button pushes and the dual split-screens are squished horizontally as determined by the screen width and 2560hz horizontal resolution. Nothing really wrong with the monitor itself. My opinion is that this monitor should be best acknowledged as a single input Gaming monitor. It was not quite suitable for my application. Better would be a wider monitor with higher horizontal frequency. The Wall Plate though not it’s intended use can be attaching it to a standard 4 hole Vesa mounting arm plate. It comes with a 75mm 4 hole Adapter, so it can be done. Two little bolts attach one side to the monitor, the other side can be fastened to a regular Monitor mounting plate (75mm hole pattern) on the extended arm of your vesa desktop stand mounted to your desk . You will have to obtain an additional four M4 x 20mm bolts, with washers and nuts to bolt (fasten) Wall Mount to the Vesa plate of your stand. Easily accomplished except for obtaining your own hardware. No wall plate screws are supplied as there are different types of wall mounts. At this price point, as I’ve mentioned, this monitor is designed to work best with a PC having an Nvidia Video Card using GSync. They tell you up front how it’s designed to work. With the right hardware you can get the 160 – 200 hz frequency for high-end gaming. With Displayport 1.2 I was able to get 120hz picture that was good enough for ordinary Windows 10 desktop, but I can’t comment how it would work for gaming. Need Displayport 1.4, or Hdmi 2.0 to obtain 160-200hz. The Nvidia drivers must be up to date and can be downloaded from Nvidia Website. The driver page lists a long paragraph of Nvidia cards compatible with that driver. It may work well enough with other PC video cards as well, but I was using an old GT 620. No problem with the latest driver but not suitable for intensive gaming. Using with a Mac, (I have a Macbook Pro) is a crapshoot. Older Macs are designed to work with older Mac compatible hardware. This monitor, as is the case with the majority of OEM generic monitors, is directed at the Windows PC Market. If it works with your Mac, well and good, but don’t count on it, not for serious gaming for sure. My 2011 Macbook Pro has early thunderbolt – backwards compatible with mini-displayport. I used a mini-displayport cable with short mini-displayport to Displayport adapter. Macbook has a 2560×1440 spec video output. It connected with the monitor but full-screen picture was a little vertically flattened, (i.e.horizontall stretched); not acceptable. Mac System Preferences Display Icon showed 1080p. That is correct, but the Macbook is designed for 4:3 ratio. My Macbook was never intended to handle 21:9 aspect ratio; not the fault of the monitor. Works perfect though with my 21.5 inch Acer screen. Newer macs with thunderbolt 3, a.k.a. USB-C should be compatible with USB-C input monitors. In order to avoid the hassle of a return, my advice is to ask the seller – better yet, download the manual, especially with third-party sellers as return shipping is pretty expensive. Be aware of the intended use and specs and consider that in order to get a monitor with better options, you might have to spend another $100.00 or more. What I could determine is that used as intended and properly set up, it will do what is advertised at 160hz For business, with dual inputs, maybe not, but the manufacturer does not advertise it as anything but designed for gaming so I really can’t complain. I had to try it to find out.Walter O.

I purchased two of these for my son. The first one was purchased two years ago and he wanted a second monitor, so we got the second one a little over a month ago. It’s a great monitor and he’s had no issues with either of them. He uses them all day long. Great picture, great quality! We were missing a wall mounting part and when I contacted the company they immediately shipped it out to us, so their customer service is incredible and fast, even during this busy holiday season. I would highly recommend this monitor and this company.

Monitor is great for gaming, Died in almost 4 years.
January 16, 2020=November 24 2023R.I.PYou been a really good monitor, So happy that I ended up getting another monitor. This monitor is very good with the quality and gaming but the pixels aren’t the best but its close to perfect. Sucks that this died when I recently plugged in a second monitor. Was playing Lethal Company then all of the sudden I got green and purple stuff of my screen and then later on turned black then the 1st monitor went to my 2nd.I don’t know If it died because of that or just died for being old. 🤷♂️

Get it
While I know there’s better picture quality out there, this was definitely the best pick for my price point. Its what my set up was missing. my gameplay even improved a bit thanks to the curve and picture quality. if your not trying to buy a $600+ monitor this is the one to use

Better than I Expected
For the price you cannot go wrong. I am not a gamer and use this as a center of a three monitor setup using two 27” monitors on each side – all the same brand. The HDMI has a tendency to overtake your default audio settings. Worth the purchase in my application.

Definitely a bang for your buck
This monitor is amazing! Not only is it big and powerful, it’s also very quick with a 200 hz refresh rate that’ll improve your gaming easily! Definitely recommend getting it!

A budget monitor
I was searching for an affordable curved monitor that I could use for work and my switch. I played Zelda TOR and had no issues. The only con I have for now is that I can not adjust the height; I might buy a monitor stand. For now, I am satisfied.

Great monitor for the price.
Definitely a good monitor to purchase if on a budget. Clear and crisp picture quality. Only reason for the 4 star is because the built in speakers don’t sound very good, definitely recommend buying a set of speakers to go with it. Overall nice product.

I didn’t know I needed this so badly…
Yes. I love it. I didn’t get this for gaming, I got it for work. I unpackaged it, attached the stand, plugged it into my laptop and boom, I have a massive amount more work room. I absolutely love that I can actually get 3 windows across the screen and actually be able to work in them without any issues. Videos are sharp, usability is outstanding, enough that I’m going to order a second one. I’m really happy with the purchase.

Impressive monitors for the price!! The wide screen is super nice!!!
Ok, I bought a mini pc replacing a much older gaming pc. I had dual 23″ monitors, one was only few years old the other was gawd how old, early HDMI days.. The older monitor didnt want to work well with the mini pc’s integrated graphic card. So I started doing my research for a new monitor. I am not one to spend alot on electronics but I wanted a decent monitor that was larger then my 23″. I went to several websites over the course of a few days and made a list of the ones that were commonly on them with good critic reviews. Sceptre C30 was on that list. I game alittle but work from home and I zoom call few times a month. With Windows 11 easy split screen it was like having 3 monitors. It was so nice!!! I had 3 full windows up and easy to read with the ultra wide screens. So after few weeks of using the Speptre C30 it was actually getting annoying how much better the picture quality was on the Sceptre verses the other monitor….. To be fair and transparent both monitors have the same picture resolution specs and were on the same settings. The 1 ms response time works well for gaming also. For what I paid, $220ish for ea it was so worth it. I just showed a few pictures to a friend who spent over twice for one monitor, 40″, and he was amazed at how much viewing screen I got for what $440…. And he was here the other day showing me how to play a character in a game. He said the picture on this monitor was amazing especially for the price!!! Now nothing is perfect!!! A big pitfall for me was the monitors have a very low profile and the height can’t be adjusted!! I am a pretty tall guy so this was a big problem. I had to spend $38 on monitor stands. But the reality is I found so much value in this monitor I bought a second one. And as I was writing this I had 4 windows going and it was like having 4 monitors. I am not an expert or pretend to be on computers but I am liking this set up alot. And the total price of everything was under $1000. new PC, 2x cables, 2x monitor stands, usb hub and a really nice keyboard and mouse. I paid more for just the gaming PC I replaced with alot worse monitors and keyboard. This monitor is a great buy!! Really gave me alot for very little money!!!

You get what you pay for
I mean it’s a great starter monitor. If you’re on a budget. I think it is too long for what I actually needed/wanted. The sound system isn’t the best but it’s better than no sound. I did like that it came with it so that I didn’t have to worry about getting speakers. I don’t like that you would need to mess around with settings to get it to what it should look like or wanted to look like. But then once you change the game or program, you might need to mess with it again. It’s not bad and it’s not great. It’s okay 👍

Good quality for the price!

The graphic quality is prefect especially with the built in HDR. It also has free sync not too sure what that is just yet. But overall I love it shipping was fast and I received the monitor in good condition. I was on the fence about if I wanted the 27 inch versus the 30 inch, so I went ahead with the 30 inch curved. Let me tell it’s prefect for Call Of Duty or even Fortnite.

Careful, two different C30 models being sold.
Apparently Sceptre changed their C30 model.First C30 model I ordered has 2 display ports and 2 HDMI ports. That model supports HDR and is far more vibrant in color and movies look amazing! Picture is bright and sharp. HDR is detected by Windows 10. Box art has an aircraft on it and says HDR 400 ready. My only gripe is it has a bad pixel but I got it on sale.I decided to order another. The second C30 model I ordered has 3 HDMI ports and 1 display port. That model does not support HDR and the colors are dull and the monitor is no where near as bright. They removed HDR and seemed to have reduced the nits and even the sharpness. HDR is no longer detected by Windows 10. Not worth it to me after having then better model. The first C30 model looks like a high end monitor compared to this mode C30. You can tell this version by the box art. The box no longer says HDR 400 Ready and looks different with two robots on the front. Very disappointed and will send it back.

first gaming monitor.
ive had this monitor for over a year now. i bought it when i got my pc. i dont have any complaints about it. i cant 100% say how good it is in comparison to other screens, but i can say it wont disappoint! the colors are nice, a little pixelated but if you dont sit two inches from it you wont tell. i recommend this product, it still works perfectly after over a year. if you have it in your amazon cart, just go ahead and click order. 🤌🏻

Dirty box
The display for the amount of money I paid is fantastic. My only complaint is when I received the shipping box on my porch it was covered in dirt. It looked like gardening dirt or something. The box the monitor was in was not damaged or dirty. No problems with the monitor so far. Very happy.

I like the monitors a lot, Sceptre’s tech support not as much.
I purchased two monitors in July 2022 during “Amazon Days” they were a great price. I like the curve with the extra large display. I got one for my wife and the other for myself. Both my wife and I use them with Mac Book Pros, and we both like the extra wide screens. I don’t notice the curve of the screen when I’m working on the computer it just seems to be a natural feel and operation of the monitor.Unfortunately, after a few months one of the monitors had a problem with the back light. Half the display was dark. The monitor was still under warranty so got in touch with Sceptre’s Tech Support via Email. Tech support was a slow in responding to me. On their web site I had to filled out the form for support twice. The first time I got no response, the second time I got a response asking for more information and pictures of the problem. At one point of emailing back and forth it took them almost a week to answer me back and only after I sent multiple replays to their Emails. Finally they replied and I received the RMA# and said I would receive a pre-paid label to return the monitor. I did have to follow up with another email, to get the Label. My experience with tech support was not great but after all said and done, they did replace the monitor and the replacement monitor is working well.Final thought, I do like the monitors even though one had to be replaced after a few months of use. Sceptre’s Tech Support needs to be more responsive. I was starting to get frustrated with them, fortunately they did come through and took care of the problem under warranty. The monitors are good, and I would recommend them. If you need tech support just be ready to email the several times.

It’s free real estate
Have to start and say that I got this monitor on sale for a pretty good price of $169. The box was pretty easy to open, and the monitor was easy to get out as well. If you have a second hand to help you, it’s probably a good idea to get them. You can do it by yourself, but it’s just better to save yourself the sanity of setting it up by yourself. The monitor is nice, even though it’s only shooting out 2560×1080. I have the frame rate set to “200hz” right now and I don’t seem to be experiencing any problems yet, though I haven’t dug down to deep into it just yet.Overall I’m pretty impressed with the monitor otherwise and everyone seems to be enjoying it as well. One thing to recommend though is to get your own mount for this, as the one that comes with it is -not- adjustable other than slight tilting.

Came damaged but looked nice
Item came damaged with burst on left side of screen. Easy to set up and nice size unfortunately i lost a client due to terrible Amazon customer service as this was a urgent need and no assistance was given to rectify the matter when it was no cause of mine. Extremely frustrated and irritated

Love It For Most Part
The item arrived undamaged which is great considered the box it came packaged in was very lose. I could hear the box containing the monitor inside sliding. The material inside the monitor’s box is what saved it. My only issue with the monitor itself is my games do not like the ultrawide resolution as far as cut scenes. The cutscenes for several games show up only partially and small on screen. I am sure a few tweaks will fix that. The quality of the picture is great and the Hz has improved my gaming significantly (I play competitive games and this helped a lot). The quality of the sound I personally cannot tell you as I only had it on for a few seconds as I have a sound system for my PC but it did sound low at the time but I didn’t mess with volume settings on it so there you go. The speakers are not forward facing so does sound a bit off, that I can definitely tell you. All in all though I am happy with this purchase and use this as my main monitor while my other is set up for streams.

Pretty cool
First monitor arrived shattered. Amazons customer service stepped up and shipped me a new one. The monitor is very nice, I will say the pixels are very noticeable I expected a more defined picture. Overall using it for work it’s fine, the picture quality could be better in my opinion but it’s bright, the curve is great, I’m still comfortable giving it 4 stars because I know I’m overly picky, spoiled by a LG 4k curved OLED for my main tv.Another way Amazon stepped up is shortly after, the monitor went on sale for Black Friday, and Amazon credited my account for the difference.

Great value
Iv had the bottom monitor for a while now, and decided to get another because of how long the other has lasted. Great picture, long lasting, easy to set up, and light weight, I love these things, I might get a third to be honest.

Incredible Screen for Gaming & Productivity! And Great Value!
I have only had this screen for a couple of days so I can’t give that much of a detailed review. However, from the short time that I’ve had it, I can already say that this is such a great addition to my Home Office/Gaming room. Also, this is my first 30-inch screen ever. So basically, I am a programmer and a student and I can do all of my programming/homework on the same screen! Being able to have many tabs open and work on multiple tasks at once without having to minimize/close tabs to open new ones, is such a life savior! I can’t believe i didn’t buy a screen like this sooner. Also, I am very happy that I was able to find such a high quality screen at a budget price. Searching for monitors on amazon can be very stressful, since there are so many brands with varying sizes and of course, prices.. But I believe that for this scepter monitor at its current price is a great value in todays market. So in conclusion, I don’t know the longevity of this monitor as i just bought it. However, it is clearly a very high quality screen with great picture quality. So, unless you want a 4k ready screen then i believe this is the right screen for you, at least until the other more High-quality & more expensive screens become more affordable. I will try and update this review if anything changes.

Heavy Hitter In It’s Class
There are monitors that do everything better out there. And you will pay for that extra performance. All in all this monitor is all I personally need and then some, though.I will say sound quality is somewhat lackluster, but that won’t matter to enthusiasts. Monitors are for video, speakers or sound bars handle audio better than any monitor on the market. So the lack of volume or sound quality is irrelevant. My two complaints, and the reason for four stars rather than five are down to the mounting situation. My monitor came without the VESA adaptor mounting bracket, and this monitor has something of a proprietary situation in that arena, lacking the common four screw holes in the housing itself. This adaptor normally comes with the monitor, but not with mine. I reached out, and there were hoops to jump through that were less desirable than a quick search on Ebay and $17.53 with shipping and handling included.Second, the weight of the thing is a bit much, and is close enough to twenty pounds to require a middle class desk clamp arm to get your desk space back.So other than the almost twenty bucks to fix my misfortune, and the eighty for the impending desk arm, it’s a five star product.
