Good sound, horrible BT
I use them for creating videos, and the sound is pretty good for $70 speakers. But the Bluetooth connectivity is awful, and all settings are lost every time Win 11 has another update. And… how to reconnect it? Who knows? Is it the red lights? The blue lights? Green? Flashing or not flashing? The manual only seems to be available from places that charge for manuals (It should really be available for free on the Sanyun website). Engineers should never be allowed near a UI. ;)Hook it up with a wire, you’re good.

Great once tunned
Love the speakers, I use the USB to PC settings and volume control works great. My only thing is once turned on with Bass | Treble at “0” the sound is not the best. I found Bass +1 | Treble -1 gives the best normalized sound, at least for me.

For the price, it’s a fantastic option
These speakers are sleek looking. I currently have mine laying down for the current set up that I have going right now. The only real complaint that I have is that when I am changing the volume on the dials, it does tend to be a little jumpy. I do have to fidget with it for a bit to get it to a volume that I like. I’ve just turned down the volume slightly on my computer to deal with that. Other than that I am very impressed with the quality of these speakers and am very happy with the purchase.

Works Good
I was looking for Bluetooth speakers with Auxiliary inputs. And these look really cool . I tested them out and they work good . I like that it has a Bass turning button and a treble turning button. I mainly just use the bass button. I don’t use the treble button. But the buttons do work. I can’t say anything about the treble button because I don’t use that button on my music. But overall is a great speaker. I definitely recommend to anyone.

Very Good!
I had a pair of Creative Gigaworks TA20’s which a certain person in my household destroyed by pushing the right speaker too close to the wall. Eventually, this caused the pin to break off inside the RCA jack rendering he right speaker useless. A similar thing happened with my Bose speakers several years back. The Sanyun speakers are designed differently, better actually than the TA20’s and Bose. I also find the Sanyun speakers to be louder than the TA20’s. I hope they will hold up over time, but as of now I am quite happy with them. At the Black Friday price, I’d say they are a good buy and would recommend them.

Nice little speakers
Sound Quality:For their size, the speakers sound good. There is some bass, but don’t expect a lot. You won’t be feeling it in your chest. I’ll be doing more listening and may update this in the future.Build Quality:The speakers are nicely built. The left speaker has no exposed screws, not even on the drivers themselves. The left speaker is attached to the right by a permanently attached cable that terminates in a RCA connection. I wish the cable wasn’t permanently attached. This would allow for easier replacement if needed in the future, as well as the ability to replace it with a longer cable if needed. The plate amp is simple enough. The only downside is that it uses a micro USB connection to connect to a PC. This is an outdated connection, and there is room to use a USB-C connection instead. Not a big deal really.Controls:The controls on the side are recessed, but the knobs stick out a bit. This makes the right speaker a little wider overall than the left. For my use, this isn’t a big deal, but I thought I’d mention it. Speaking about the controls, there are two types of volume control when it comes to Bluetooth. The first is where the device’s (speaker) volume is separate from the Bluetooth (phone) volume. The second is where they control each other and are not separate. These speakers are in the second group. If you turn up or down the volume on the speakers you will see the volume change on your phone.Overall:Overall, I like these speakers. I got them on sale, and they’re a good value for the price. In the future, I might buy the larger ones, which I’m sure will have more bass.Pros:Good sound quality for the sizeNicely builtSimple plate ampVolume control linked to Bluetooth deviceCons:Permanently attached cableMicro USB connectionControls on the side stick out a bitOverall:I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a good pair of small bookshelf speakers for a reasonable price. They’re not the biggest or the most powerful speakers, but they sound good for their size.I hope this is helpful!

This is a great upgrade for my laptop!
After extensive research, I found these and think they are great for my laptop. I still have older speakers that work. While the connection cuts out via USB, thankfully it is brief. Gaming and music is great. The quality is almost top-notch. An equalizer will be needed for PC connection.

I like them but don’t expect the sound quality to blow you away. It’s great for listening to youtube videos and some podcasts. Not that great for music and gaming but it is listenable.

Great speakers for the price
These speakers sound great. They have a good base and good highs. I only have a few little issues but nothing game breaking.First of all there are no kind of mounting brackets so unless you have them on a desk or a shelf you’ll have a little trouble putting them where you want. But I guess that’s why there called Bookshelf Speakers. The second issue is to switch modes you have to hold down the volume buttons for a few seconds. Being that one of the connections is USBC it would have been nice for a PC hotkey for switching modes or a dedicated button on the speakers. The sound knobs works great but the base and treble button don’t seem to do anything but that’s fine I normally control that through the audio source device.Over all they are very nice speakers. They have a great sound great volume and great base. I would definitely recommend these to someone that is looking to replace some old desktop speakers.Build quality feel very high.

exceeded my expectations
if you’re wondering if these will be an upgrade from those $25 Wal-Mart speakers you picked up when you first got your PC… the answer is YES! plain as day. huge difference in the bass quality, the volume, and the clarity in sound. for under 100 bucks i am extremely satisfied. better than these would be to pony up and pay around $150 for something with a dedicated bass like a 2.1 system. overall i would recommend these. and the fact they come in white when options are so limited, i’m so glad!

Good quality
Great speakers to have for your desktop PC. Although if you turn the bass up to much you get a wobbly affect. Most likely having to do with the sub and mid range being the same speaker. Overall they look fantastic and sound nice.

Not for audiophiles
A few things keep these speakers from getting 5 stars.Pros: They are a good size, the drivers and tweeters look nice and get loud enough for what I need. The white aesthetic looks incredible, they are a decent weight and feel like they were made well. Definitely going to keep them for my desk setup. I like them!Con’s: They aren’t super crisp, dialogue in some games and videos doesn’t always come out the best so I’m going to try an equalizer to level that out.Does not come with a subwoofer (which is a dealbreaker for some) or a remote control. You also have to adjust the volume on the speaker itself, so no controlling the volume via the software on your computer. That’s the big one. Once you change the volume on the speaker your system volume will show you the % it’s set to. The PC connection is USB 2.0 with a micro usb (this tells me the tech is old). If you don’t mind those few things, these are a decent set! I got mine for maybe $100 so I wasn’t expecting anything that good.

A great option for those not wanting to spend over $100
These lil’ speakers have truly surprised me and blown all my needs and expectations out of the water.I needed something for my new PC that wasn’t going to cost me over 100 bucks. I managed to get them during Prime Day so I’ve had them for a while. And so far very little to complain about. The Bluetooth is delayed slightly. So using BT for gaming isn’t recommended. Perfect for music. However, I did notice a slight degradation of sound quality but I’m not sure if it’s my phone or the speakers. (I seldomly use BT so it doesn’t matter to me much)Using them for my PC has been delightful. My overall decision for these speakers other than price was being able to control bass and treble with their own dedicated knobs. So hitting the perfect mix is achievable. My two dislikes are that the power switch is located on the back and the volume knob doesn’t have a fixed position. Moving it feels clicky. I, personally, would’ve preferred a min/max limit and an indicator on the volume knob (just like on the bass/treble knobs).

Not bad at all
Easy to install and barely weighs anything. The sound is great for the money. The low ends are discernible and punchy, and the high ends are crisp and clear. although at some frequencies they do tend to vibrate and become muddy. Sound projection isn’t too great either as soon as you step to the side. But as an affordable alternative I’d gladly recommend these if you need a pair of audio monitors to complete your desktop build.

Buy them.
I had these sitting in my list for months and I decided to pull the trigger on prime day. Best bank for your buck and they get pretty loud. I’m not an expert on sound but they are up to par especially for my desk set up. Literally the best “budget” speakers that look like the other $500 ones out there. These are underrated and I’m glad I didn’t purchase the big name brand ones because these look and perform just as well.

Louder than I thought
I got these speakers a couple of weeks ago and I wasn’t very impressed with how loud the speakers were able to get. Just now, I realized there is a volume knob on the side of the speaker that I saw when I unboxed them, but then completely forgot about. So I guess the volume was only up halfway. -_- Now that I know they can get super loud when I need them to, it’s def a 5-star product.

Nice Little Speakers For Computer
I didn’t have big expectations for these little speakers, but I was surprised with their build quality and their actual appearance. They are somewhat substantial in weight and their design is pleasing. Everything arrived in a cushioned box and there was no damage.I liked the fact that they connected by Bluetooth, USB, or with a standard audio cable. I connected with Bluetooth and had no issues setting them up.I was, however, a little disappointed in the sound volume. For them to be 60 watts (30×2) they didn’t seem to be as loud as I would want them to be. And my volume control was turned to the max.Overall, I have decided to keep them, so hopefully they will continue to function properly.

The sounds quality and space it needs
I would like to say that is a very good monitor speaker come with three different modes. It has everything that your monitor or your Bluetooth needs and even comes with a 3.5 jack to plug into the monitor. But I would also like to say that the sound quality is a 10 out of 10 without the bass all the way up but with the base about halfway, it sound really good. The vocals, I would turn the treble up more than the bass but when you have the volume all the way up it is a very good sounding speaker , the space it takes up is quite a lot because it is a bigger monitor speaker but with the kind of sound it produces I think it’s just right, but I will make sure that you have ample space to fit both of the speakers and the distance that you can put them away from each other is not great by any means, but it’s doable. I would still give this product 5 starts.

Really nice speakers
These speakers work really well. I don’t use the Bluetooth or other functions, although they’re a great add on! I have them plugged in to my PC via usb. They work well every time, the dials and build quality feel great. They’re compact, but not too small, and they sound awesome. Not sure about max volume since I never have it up past 70% but they’re loud enough! Especially if you’re just sitting in front of the computer or in the room.Good desk space, build quality, aesthetics, and sound !

Great speakers with shortcomings
These do sound and looking good. 2 things are a bummer:1. DAC in these is 16bit 48000hz not Built-in 24bit DAC listed. My LG monitor has 24 bit DAC so I’m connecting these with headphone jack.2. If you connect these with USB cable you will get 16bit 48000hz (someone already posted picture to prove so I’m not going to repost it) and you will also lose volume control from within Windows. Turning volume knob on the speaker will change Windows volume but Windows volume control does nothing to change the volume of the speakers. If you are willing to overlook these two shortcomings these are great. Personally I’m still a bit undecided as I feel a bit cheated. Not sure if I want to send these back or not.*******several days later:Contacted the seller (SunWin), the seller was very communicative and responded right away, offered to work with me to resolve the issue. As I mentioned these are great sounding speakers, after burning them in for a couple of days they sound even better, there are better sounding speakers out there for sure but you will be spending a lot more for those.

If you EQ them for the room, they sound pretty amazing.
I mix music. I wanted some small, secondary, “center console” speakers to test mixes on. I use IK multimedia’s ARC 3 software for room correction. After applying the correct EQ curve for the room these little speakers really shined. Very happy with these.

These look very good, were very to setup to connect using Bluetooth. I use them with my Mac Mini. The sound is not very ‘clean’ nor is their much bass, but for the money. they work. The volume. treble and bass controls work well. Press the volume knob and hold, the pairing process begins. The Mac OS does the rest.

Cheap wires and connection, wasn’t loud to begin with but now the entire speaker is quiet on full volume. I have already checked the sound on my computer, 3 different wires for audio, and on bluetooth. Nothing worked to solve the sound issue. Better off playing music off your phone

Decent Speakers for a good price.
I want to start off saying that Sanyun is the first company to actually reach out to me here on Amazon, the seller, Andy, asked genuine concerns for their product. This is what I gave to them directly in Direct Messages:”1) The Packaging was in very good condition!2) The Packaging image did not match what was inside the package (The Package showed the Black Speakers, and not the White Speakers), however, I still received what I ordered which is good!(Andy answered this concern with me, said that the reason for this is because: “… we need to explain about the packaging. Because our version has two colors, both black and white are printed on the packaging.”)3) The Contents were in very good condition and was easy to setup!4) The Product is good quality! The speakers can get pretty loud, which is a surprise for their size! The Bass on the speakers aren’t the strongest, BUT, is decent and works well with the size of the speakers!5) Finally, the Price Point was actually very acceptable. $70 was not too expensive, and the quality I’m getting out of these are a bit better than the Klipsch speakers I had which were priced at $149.00.Overall, I’m surprised and honestly happy with these speakers. They are a rather good pair of speakers and I’m quite happy to have these, so, hopefully they last much longer than the Klipsch speakers I had!”This is what I responded with to Andy, and I will say that it’s been about 7 days since I’ve had the speakers and I’m still pretty happy with them.

These speakers are stylish, adds a nice accent to your work area. Kind of reminds me of the KRK rokit’s, which I own a pair but the sound is not comparable, but for some $100 speakers, they sound pretty damn good. Don’t expect super loud highs or extreme low bass, but they will work fine.

Impressive sound from small noname monitors (4 inch – black)
Originally got this as a secondary set of speakers for my desk with the intent to hopefully make music with them. At first glance they were a little flatter than desired and missing some mids. A little tuning with a proper EQ and these things shine like I couldn’t believe. Highly recommended if you’re a beginner trying to start out and need decent sound. The USB function is nice, albeit not the highest quality, but totally fine to start off on. You can also use a higher resolution sound interface through the TRS channels on these, which sound even better.Great product, decent quality design, awesome sound quality once you tune it right and overall recommended.

Quirky Little Gem
I’ve been using the speakers from my monitors, which didn’t sound all that bad, but I wanted better. I needed something that would be USB connected and not Bluetooth, because I’ve heard that the Apple M1 Mac Mini can be a bit sketchy. So USB or something wired was essential. I found quite a few that used TRS connections for balanced studio monitoring, but I didn’t want to buy more cables. My needs were simple. I just wanted to stream YouTube and movies occasionally. I also wanted the price to be under $100. That’s when I came across this little gem. They were smaller than I thought, but for near field speakers, power wasn’t an issue. Separate controls for bass and treble was nice and everything seemed to work to my liking, but there were a few quirks and one niggle I’d like to mention. My speakers were an open box item and some of these may be due to this fact aloneYMMVFirst, when you first power on the speakers and even though I have USB selected, it may once in a while switch to Bluetooth. I can tell right away because the sound quality and power level drops. Plus, there’s a blue light indicating the speakers are using BluetoothAfter switching back to USB, the volume level gets a little wonky. By that I mean it’s a little loud and I have to turn it down. No problem. However, the adjustment steps don’t seem to correspond to the amount I turn it down by. It gets a little too soft and then I find myself turning it back to where it was loud, but this time it’s sounds just rightThat was all the quirks that I found, so that leaves me with the niggleMicro USBYeah

Great Little Speakers
I was a musician and amateur audio engineer for over a decade so I’m fairly picky when it comes to speakers. I honestly bought these more for the way they would look with my new desk setup and the price, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sound. These obviously won’t compete with top of the line speakers but they are more than good enough for watching youtube and casual music listening while at your desk. They definitely punch above their weight.

These speakers are excellent. They sound great, they don’t take up much space, they’re just easy to control the volume, and they look good as well. All around a solid product and would recommend to anyone in need of PC speakers.

Absolute heaven to my ears!
I had a set of Redragon speakers that just wasn’t giving me the sound that I was looking for. I have a background in music, and I like solid Bass in my music and movies. First, the look and feel of these speakers is quality! They are solid, clean and just all around NICE! Hooking them up is simple, and they provide different ways to hook them up via USB or your standard speaker jack. The sound is very even on the high and mid sides, and it comes with a Bass adjustment knob below the volume knob to adjust the Bass to your liking. For me, I turned it all the way up on the Bass and it absolutely pounds! I didn’t get to turn it up all the way due to my German Shepard freaking out when I got to about 75% volume. If you’re not wanting to spend a fortune on really good speakers, these are the ones for you! I HIGHLY recommend these speakers!

Works great and as expected, with one caveat…
Though I have not used them much yet, I will say that I’m very happy with the ease of set up and my initial testing of these speakers (I use them for PC speakers and gaming). They were exactly what I was looking for and right at my price point – they’re well made and sound great too.The caveat though, which I think some may not realize, is that after connecting these to your PC, it is important to configure this device using Windows via Control Panel sound settings. Before I did this I noticed that something didn’t quite sound right – the highs were too high and the lows were too low – it didn’t sound properly calibrated or equalized. After going to the sound settings and configuring the speakers using the “Enhancements” tab for the device, and applying the features (Bass Localization, Virtual Sound, etc.), it resulted in a day/night improvement in sound quality. This is important for any future users to do on the initial set up.Further, the bass and treble of these speakers do as good a job as you would expect from not having a dedicated subwoofer, while of course there are better audio systems out there, for this price point and what these speakers are, and their compatibilities, this made them a very appealing purchase and so far I am quite happy with it. Will update down the line if something changes.

Decent Bookshelf Speakers
The sound of the speakers are good. I use them with my computer to play video games. I do listen to music with them also. They are well rounded for the cost and what I use them for. However I do wish they had a little more bass to the sound. They have some but not a whole lot. The unit does come with a bass knob. However when adjust the bass they do not seem to make a difference. They also included a treble knob too and the same applies, they don’t seem to make a notable difference. The volume on the unit does get pretty loud. Surprised me on how much volume you can get out of these speakers. The volume knob has little clicks in it while turning so you can get a feel for how much you are affecting the volume. The unit feels well made, especially the knobs do. If your listening to music, watching YouTube and playing video games. These are the ticket. The overall look of the speakers are incredible. I got my set in white to match my PC and overall pleased with the purchase.

Great upgrade to native sound system
If you use a home and work laptop setup and want to upgrade from the built-in speakers, then these are a great option to get a profound sound enhancement without breaking the bank. Setup was easy – I hardwired in using the audio jack from my dock directly to the speakers; I never tested BlueTooth or USB as I didn’t need it, so can’t really rate those. The “startup” tone when powering them on is rather loud no matter how low the volume is set, but I can control the volume easily from the PC controls and will probably just leave them on. Despite not having a subwoofer, the bass tones are present though not window-shaking; perfect for my small office environment where I listen to music between calls and meetings. The bass and treble knobs must be there purely for aesthetics and may not even be wired into anything – as others have noted, they don’t seem to do anything. Time will tell how the speakers work in the long term, but as of day one I’m very happy with them.

volume knob doesn’t work, inadequate documentation, USB mode is extremely flaky
These are total bargain-bin speakers, poorly engineered, with design defects and no useful documentation. The biggest engineering bug is that the volume knob doesn’t work when you use it with USB. This problem is no documented anywhere on the Amazon page. It does seem to be discussed in the printed booklet that comes with the speakers, but the English is so bad that it’s hard to tell what they intended to say: “Note: When using Bluetooth mode and USB cable connection mode, the speaker volume may share the same volume with the device, so the main volume knob is not set with the highest and lowest volume scales.” If you can understand that sentence, then good for you. I’m guessing it came straight out of Google Translate. The speakers can be used in three modes, but the printed booklet that comes with the speakers doesn’t mention how to set the the mode. For this information, you need to carefully look through the Amazon page, where they have this note: “Long press 2 seconds to change the mode, green is audio mode, red is USB connection mode, blue is Bluetooth mode. ” I assume “audio mode” is intended to mean using it with a phono jack. “Long press” refers to pressing and holding the volume knob for a couple of second. This is really bad engineering. For usability, all they needed to do was make the thing detect when it’s connected to USB. (Hey, it’s not that hard for a USB device to detect that!) As it is, you get the thing out of the box and plug it in through the USB cable, and you have absolutely no idea why it isn’t working. The micro-USB cable they supply does not mate nicely with the port on the back of the speaker. It’s hard to tell whether you’re pushing it in hard enough or not. Low-quality parts, cheap engineering. One speaker has all the connectors sticking out of the back. The power cable sticks out about 6 cm. This is awkward when you’re trying to fit the speaker into a confined space, e.g., it wouldn’t fit on my windowsill. So if you’re buying these because they look compact, keep this in mind. The only good things I will say about these speakers are that they do have pretty decent bass response, and they were certainly cheap.[EDIT] I spent an afternoon doing some coding while playing sound through the speakers, and I experienced even more problems. The biggest hassle is that the USB input worked fine for a few hours and then abruptly stopped working in the middle of playing something. I tried power cycling the speakers, but that didn’t help. I had to shut down my computer and reboot to get the speakers working again, but then the USB input stopped working again after a couple of minutes. As a last resort, I plugged the speakers in via the analog phono-plug cable (which luckily I’d saved). This fixed it, but it eliminated one of my main reasons for having bought this particular model of speakers, which was that I wanted something with USB input.A second thing I noticed is that the broken behavior of the volume knob is not even consistent. What I originally observed was that the knob seemed to have no effect when I was in USB mode, and I assumed that this was what was being documented in the tortured English of the documentation, as quoted above. But I later noticed that turning the knob while in USB could actually have three different effects: (1) sometimes it has no effect; (2) sometimes it works; (3) sometimes it deactivates the speakers and the only way to recover is by power cycling. So basically it looks like whoever made the USB interface was just totally incompetent and/or didn’t do any testing. The USB interface is just completely unusable my experience.A final issue is that when I was in USB mode, I found that for some material (e.g., the PBS News Hour’s streaming programs on their web site), the sound output was extremely low — e.g., too low to be easily audible when there was background noise such as a fan. This seemingly can’t be fixed in software, because even when I max out my operating system’s volume control, I just can’t get a level through the USB interface that is loud enough. Of course, if the volume knob worked while in USB mode, then you would have a way to convince the speakers to give some more gain — but as described above, that’s a disaster.

Top-notch Speakers for the Home Office (and the Home)
I use these speakers for everything from meetings to study music to amateur sound editing. I live in a place with fairly thin walls, so being able to adjust the level particularly for the bass is a godsend. You can get that kick when you feel like dancing, and these speakers are definitely loud enough for a party, but if you need to turn it down to avoid noise complaints you have that option too.I also love the functionality. I keep my older computer plugged in all the time with an aux cable, and then if I want to play something real quick on my phone I can leave it all plugged in and just switch it to Bluetooth. And with my newer laptop I can actually control the volume directly on the screen when it’s set to Bluetooth.Plus, with the optic out and the other inputs you can also set it up with TVs and consoles. Sometimes on weekends I’ll hook them up to my PS4 and oh boy, do I have fun playing War Thunder with that sound. It’s also a cool little feature that you can take the mesh off; I tend to leave it on to keep the dust out but it definitely makes a slight tonal difference if you remove it.I didn’t know I could be this happy with a set of speakers, but they’re literally perfect for my setup. Probably pretty good for yours too.

Not what i thought at all!
I bought these with the thought they would have a decent high end and at least a smooth and vibrant low end but no the “speakers” at the top do not appear nor feel like any tweeter i have ever come across. seems to just be a small fabric with foam providing no real sound purpose and has choppy sound. with a little tune here and there and using an audio software with a 5 band comp they are decent. at best. top end needs help badly. mid and low end are tolerable. with a center speaker they are half decent at providing clear audio but on there own just plain suck. will not be buying these ever again.

A little confused.
I have owned these speakers for the better part of the year and while I do like them I have found some rather odd things. Let’s start with the audio connection side, these speakers have 3 audio modes, USB which uses a 24Bit DAC to help decode audio, making it sound better. It also features Bluetooth and Aux. Now what I find rather weird is when I connect VIA Aux, windows allows me to manually set the bit rate to 24Bit 192k Hz which is nice, but now we look at USB. It caps at 16Bit 42000 Hz and I honestly think It sounds worse, not by much almost unnoticeable but It’s there. Now what I’m wondering is when using USB, does windows not detect the DAC and the speakers up scale the audio externally cause if so mystery solved. Now I do have a nicer motherboard with a built in DAC so maybe it’s higher end not sure but either way I can’t tell If I’m just bias cause I see bigger number with Aux and think It’s better, might be the caseEither or these are definity good speakers outside of my “issue”

– 1 star for rattling. With some EQ’ing they sound great, just lacking some bass
These have decent sound for music, movies and games in a small, gamer-fied package. They can use some EQ’ing, placement near a wall helps the bass, and my left speaker has a rattle during lower frequencies. The pros: I think Sanyun nailed the look of these. The RGB is tasteful and not overdone, and the angular shape, visible tweeter and woven fiber woofer look sharp. Sound quality is nice and has some punch, but not enough for gaming. The addition of a tweeter really brings clarity and sparkle to music. Bluetooth is a good touch too. IMPORTANT: Make sure to aim these up towards your ears or raise them up to ear level or they sound pretty bad. I tested the frequency response of these, and in my room EQ’ing them with the following adjustments brought the sound closer to neutral, though this will vary depending on your room and speaker placement.62Hz: +3db125Hz: -4.5db250Hz: -4.5db4kHz: +2.3db8kHz: +3.4db16kHz: +4dbThe cons: These guys are small, like 5″ high, so you’re not getting rumbling bass from them. If you like to game with speakers and want the rumble, either get a separate powered subwoofer if your desktop has a subwoofer out jack, go for larger powered speakers, or get a set with a subwoofer included. My left speaker has a rattle at lower frequencies, which shows some weaknesses in the plastic construction. If you have no way of EQ’ing these, they sound a bit hollow and lack sparkle. Also, Game Mode is the only mode that sounded good to me. The others sounded less natural.Alternatives: For around $80, you could get a powered set of bookshelf speakers that will have more bass and improved sound quality, but they’re going to lack RGB and the gamer aesthetic. You could also find a 2.1 desktop set if you want a subwoofer, but it may not have RGB or the same sound quality. These offer convenient size and easy setup, RGB (but not ARGB, so just one color at a time), and a sharp aesthetic. If you want good sound in a very tight space and don’t need lots of bass, these would fit the bill. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be hanging onto these because of the rattling during low frequencies, which brought my review from 4 stars down to 3.
