Galaxy S22 is redefining the epic standard – both for what a smartphone can do with video and for what you can communicate, create, and experience with it. In other words, if you’ve got something to say, Galaxy S22 makes it possible to say anything you want with video, at any time-even in the darkness of night.

Better than iPhone
I like how customizable the screen is,Samsung phones from what I can tell seem to have a lot more features that apple does not. This is coming from a long time Apple user, I’ve been using Apple phones since they first came out and I finally just got tired of paying such a high price for the exact same phone. They never change anything really. No matter how much they hype it, all they do is change is the chip. So to the important things with Samsung. You have the edge bar which I use a lot. Your phone is 100% more customizable. The battery seems to be the same on all cell phones. the camera however, is way better. I know this because my boss mentioned that the photos I sent him look spectacular, far better than any photos I’ve been sending him with the iPhone. So this is pretty good for a refurbished used phone from Samsung. I just ordered the Samsung S23 Ultra, brand new. So we’ll see how that phone is. I’m thinking it’s gonna be 10 times better than what this is. its a great phone to start with if you want to switch over. Get out of the apple ecosystem. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because there’s certain apps. I can’t download that I had before. And that’s because the shady frs at apple have exclusive rights to certain app so, not samsung’s fault. Still disappointing that I can’t use apps that I was using regularly with apple on samsung.

No problems with the refurb. S22 camera great, battery and fingerprint sensor are disappointments
It’s a real step up from my S9, especially the camera, especially 3x wide mode for close ups of small things. But the battery time between recharges and also the fingerprint sensor is a major step down. Needs a charge in the afternoon if I’ve used it heavily that day. So I got a power pack and that helps, but it’s a shame I needed to do that.As for the fingerprint sensor, it just doesn’t work half the time. S22 locks you out if you try repeatedly, and then you have to wait a while before it lets you try again. It came in almost-like-new condition but not in original packaging, no clear plastic protecting the glass, and without the quick start guide, which is downloadable (and I didn’t need it). What I needed was the Samsung Smart Switch app, which sync’d my S9 apps, though not my app data. For example my voice-recorder data is still stuck on the old phone, not sure how to get that moved.Another minus was I couldn’t get real accident insurance from Samsung or my carrier so I would have to go with 3rd party. Too much fine print for me to believe it’s any good, so I’m `self-insured’. if I break the screen, it’s never going to have any trade-in value and then I’ll be looking for another refurb in the $400 price range. Better than paying like $200 for insurance and possibly deductibles for the next few years.

Excellent screen, great S Pen experience, just OK battery life and fit and finish issues
Works great on T-Mobile. Excellent, class-leading screen great for everything from reading to watching video to taking notes using the also-excellent S Pen. The S Pen experience is much better than it was on my old Note10, which is a much smaller phone. Zero complaints about sluggishness in the OS (which is updated to OneUI 5.1). 5G-enabled but I keep it off because I don’t need those speeds. Excellent camera experience as you’d expect. Just know that the phone is very heavy at 230 g.The battery life is just OK, even on LTE (vs. 5G). This is disappointing for a phone with such a big battery.Worse is the fit and finish issue. The design is quite beautiful (phantom black is underrated) but it feels like the back panel hasn’t been glued on 100% snugly. You won’t notice it if you use a case, but it’s a bit worrying and disappointing all the same. I expect more from Samsung, especially their top-of-the-line phone of 2022. But perhaps this is a refurb issue.

Not US version
The phone I received was in mint condition with great battery life but continuously disconnected from my carrier for no reason. I thought maybe something was wrong on my carrier end so I tried a different carrier. Still same issue, after days back and forth between carrier support and Samsung support no luck. I was told to send the phone back that it could be a hardware issue. Sent phone back, seller issued a refund and then I bought an iPhone all is good now.

Did I get a new phone and a refurbished price?
This phone was a fantastic buy! I didn’t want to get into a long expensive contract with my carrier and am not interested in overpriced phones as soon as they are released. So, when I was shopping for a replacement for my Galaxy 20+ (which I bought renewed directly from Samsung), I turned to Amazon’s refurbished listings. It took a while to find what phone I wanted and then what seller I trusted. I knew I wanted an “excellent” phone, and the few dollars difference didn’t matter and neither did the color. I finally found this phone from a reputable seller and took the dive and ordered it. It shipped in a very secure box, in its original phone box, with the protective tape on the front as well! This phone was like new. It doesn’t look like anybody ever used it. I used my Samsung switch program, switched sim cards, and voila! (Well, not really, Verizon gave me a couple issues but I got it working!) I love this phone and for the money you can’t beat it. And this seller is great! If I need anything else I will check to see if they have it first.Side note: The S pen: I keep forgetting I have it and it was not the prime reason I bought this phone. I’m sure I’ll start using it more as time goes on. I do keep getting errors that it won’t connect and may need to replace it. It is impossible to tell if it is the original pen or a knockoff.

One of the best
Purchased this for my stepmom who switched from IOS to Android. I recommended this phone to her because of the camera, she does a lot of media stuff and she loves it! The S22 runs really smooth and is eloquently stylish. Didn’t recommend the S23 because of the price but the S22 is just as good if you’re not obsessed with always having the latest technology.

The phone is great! Can’t tell it was renewed.
When I first saw the phone on my porch, I was excited to open it. Once I inspected the phone, I found no scratches or anything like that. The seller definitely out here delivering on promises. The only gripe is that the charger that came with the phone does not adequately charge the phone. My other phones, I have been able to use the phone while it’s charging. With this one, I have had it on the charger for the past hour and it’s been stuck on 15%.Overall…great phone and fast delivery when expedited shipping is paid for. The charger left me slightly disappointed because I have to buy another one. Thanks yall

Phone truly was unlocked and I would’ve thought it was new if I didn’t know that I bought it as a Reman. Works great so far! However the fingerprint reader leaves something to be desired.

Almost sent it back
Phone wouldn’t read SIM, tried everything the manufacturer and service provider recommended but nothing worked. Checked IMEI, it was clean but reported that it was still registered as a Verizon phone, not factory unlocked. Thought the phone must have still been locked into a plan or something, asked for a refund and the seller was super quick to respond and accept the refund. Fast forward over a month and I haven’t had a chance to send it back but I read on a forum that Verizon automatically unlocks it’s phones after 2 months, so I try again. Same issue. So I look at the IMEI again and I see that it brings up a different model number than the phone does. Checked into it and it turns out the seller flashed the factory unlocked OS onto the phone so thought the OS may be corrupted and not reading the SIM. I was planning to use Metro by T-mobile anyway so I flashed the Metro OS onto the phone. Still same issue. So at this point the only thing it could be is a hardware not software issue. Start looking into what it takes to test or replace the SIM reader hardware and while browsing images I notice that the Sim tray for the S22 online is different from what I have in my phone. Mine has the SIM tray for the S21. So I ordered a new SIM tray, came the next day and other than Sim orientation it is identical to the one I have. Tiny little mistake by the seller caused this huge headache, but I’m glad I did send it back because I have an awesome S22 at a great price from these guys. But please, check the little details guys.

Samsung Galaxy S22: A Top-Notch Smartphone with Impressive Camera, Display, and Performance
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S22 Smartphone in Phantom White (Renewed) and I am thoroughly impressed with this device. The phone is factory unlocked, which gives me the flexibility to use it with any carrier, and the 128GB storage capacity is more than enough to store all of my photos, videos, and apps. The camera on this phone is nothing short of amazing. The 8K camera and video capabilities allow me to capture stunning, high-quality footage and the resulting images are incredibly clear and detailed. I love the fact that I can take professional-level photos and videos with just my phone. The display on the Samsung Galaxy S22 is also fantastic. It is incredibly bright and vivid, making it easy to see even in direct sunlight. The long battery life ensures that I can use my phone throughout the day without worrying about it dying on me.The fast 4nm processor is another standout feature of this phone. It runs very smoothly and quickly, which makes multitasking a breeze. I can switch between apps and tasks without any lag or delay.Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S22 Smartphone to anyone in the market for a high-quality Android cell phone. The renewed version is an excellent value and performs just as well as a brand new device. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase!

Excellent device, no software updates
I’ll get straight to the point. The price is amazing. The phone is in near perfect condition, being a esthetically next to flawless, save for a couple miniscule scuffs on the aluminum railing. The S22+ itself is very fast, reliable and lives up to what is stated on the product page. The one big red flag here is the “unlocked” part. The phone will accept any carrier, such as my T-mobile SIM card, and function as advertised. However, this phone is currently running on Android 12, which is not up to date, and many different attempts at updating manually have been complete failures. The device was originally a Verizon locked phone before becoming unlocked, which means the IMEI is still registered to said carrier. After speaking with various tech support people, I’ve been told this: Amazon says the issue is with Samsung or Verizon. Samsung says the issue is with Verizon. Verizon says the issue is with Samsung. No one was able to provide me with a software update, which means this device I bought has no future software update support whatsoever. To summarize my review: If you don’t mind having a device without the possibility of future updates, then this phone is perfect and works as advertised in every other way.

Good value
Came with Verizon lock, but customer service helped me to get it unlocked. The unlock worked, which makes this phone carrier unlocked (not the same as a factory unlocked device). So regardless of what sim card you insert, the current carrier will automatically load their junk softwares on the phone that are impossible to remove.I was unaware of it as I’m an iPhone user and never had this. Looks like it’s an android/samsung thing.I guess it’s a fair trade for the price

My new favorite phone, replaced my Note9
My only real issue with this phone is the color. I ordered Red, and I guess in someone’s imagination Salmon is Red. I put a Red cover on it so it is actually red now, but the salmon color shows around the camera. Other than that, this is a great phone. After having a few Notes in the past, a stylus is a must for me, thanks Samsung for bringing it back. For all intents and purposes the Ultra is a Note, just note called that anymore.

This phone is awesome I love it. Little overheating issue out the box. Phone got wiped and changed somethings around I love it. My issue is how you guys send me a type b charger for a type c phone I’m currently looking to see if I can get them to send me the correct charger but who knows. Still love the phone tho 4 stars people 4 stars. (UPDATE) changing their review to 5 stars after a few weeks phone handles beautifully and I contacted the seller because they sent me the wrong charging cord. They sent me a basic one and a super charger along with a pop socket and I didn’t have to wait an eternity for a response or a replacement charger now they get 5 STARS PEOPLE!! 5 STARS!!!

Where is the Charger?
Where is the Charger? Charging cable and SIM tool were in the box. The phone itself is in excellet condition and it was unlocked as described. Luckily I had a charger I wasn’t using but would have liked one since it sounded like it would be included. Too early to tell on battery life. It arrived full drained. Using the phone has been easy but it did have several hours of updates since it is an older model even though only a year removed from being new. Seems pretty quick and responsive so far.

Nice phone, but overheats and shuts down often
This is a nice phone, and the camera takes outstanding pictures. The phone arrived in excellent condition, as advertised. However, this phone, and probably many in its generation have a design/fabrication issue where the phone will overheat and shut down often, and for no clear reason. Once it shuts down the phone will be not be usable for 30min to an hour until it cools down, and it can then be restarted. Although this happens more often on a hot summer day, I would still expect the manufacturer to design and test phones for warm weather operation.I would not fault the seller for this issue, as the phone arrived in excellent condition. I will try to return, and get a replacement which will hopefully work better. But buyers may want to be aware of this potential problem.

Good phone, good price
Like the other reviews, my only gripe is that the battery drains fast. However that seems to be an issue with this phone in general, not because it’s renewed. For a renewed phone I only noticed small scratches on the screen. The phone came with a screen protector too, but it was crap so I replaced it. The camera looks good and the phone functions well. My SIM card tray came was the right one for this phone so thankfully I didn’t need to replace it. Overall happy with this phone. Will update if need be.

battery does not hold a charge
Having had an S10e, I really like the S22. However, this battery did not hold a charge. I left the house at 9am with 70% battery and made 2 1-hour calls during the day. By 5pm the battery was at 10-15%. I charged it fully before going to bed and then had to re-charge again the next morning. I will be ordering another S22 replacement.

Spam calls
Great phone with feature you won’t see in a pixel. Conversely, it lacks native features you come to expect unless you use an additional app. I do’ like that. The less apps th better IMO.Phone arrived in fantastic condition, unlocked with developer mode enabled. Which they used to unlock the original AT&T phone. This phone is not “factory unlocked” as AT&T does not sell unlocked phones.Once I simmed it and started using the phone my robo calls more than doubled. Common sense tells me the phone itself is at fault somehow was it was manipulated by the seller? Anyway when It gets damaged beyond repair (I do this every several months or so) I’ll buy a new phone straight from google. I get the best results that way.In conclusion the S-22 was top of the line phone a couple years ago and a great daily driver for the price despite all the samsung crap. Despite this I grant only three stars for the robocalls annoyance!

Great Phone! Sent with Wrong Sim Tray
Much like what happened to another reviewer, I had the troubles of getting this phone and having it shipped with the wrong SIM tray. Unfortunately this meant I needed to buy a second hand SIM tray for the phone on top of the price I already paid for this phone. The phone itself seems to be in “excellent” condition as was advertised, but please know that if you purchase this, you may need to inspect the SIM tray to make sure you have the correct one, or else the phone wont read your SIM card 🙁 Once I bought the correct SIM tray for this S22, my phone immediately read the card and seems to function as it should. I think I will like this phone, but I wish that it had been sent with the correct part to begin with!!

Apps force close and screen shuts off when it shouldn’t.
Quite a few of my apps occasionally stop responding or force close (phone & apps are up to date). Also, when I use the voice text feature the screen shuts off while I’m still talking. Battery does not last as long as one of the refurbished s22s that I tried before buying this (supposedly) brand new one. Actually, this has all of the exact same issues as the refurbished one I bought for $400. If I could still return this one I would and buy another refurbished model. I thought all of these issues kn the last one were a result of being refurbished.

Mint condition, fast delivery.
Received the product within 24 hours of placing my order. After ordering I read a few reviews with concerns relating to the unlocked status of the phone and minor scratches/cosmetic damages that surpassed the “like new” condition description. To my relief, the phone arrived unlocked (for any carrier), and with absolutely zero cosmetic flaws to note. The screen was perfectly smooth, with a protective cover placed over it, and there edges of the phone were also covered in a plastic shield.All-in-all, the phone could have passed off as brand new apart from the non-OEM packaging.

So far so good with “renewed”
I realize these are returned for some reason or another, but I am happy to report that mine was “like new”. There is a small nick/scratch on the plastic side grip, but since I use a phone case, I don’t notice it. The front and rear are totally blemish free.I’m coming from a Galaxy S8+, which is almost 5 years old at this point, so the S22+ is sooo fast. Swiping screens, launching applications, etc…it just seems so fast and effortless for the CPU. The boot-up process seems to take a little longer, but for how often I reboot, it is not a bother. And who can’t wait another 10-15 seconds?I can’t speak to the 5G speeds, as I am usually connected to wifi, and those speeds are going to be region and carrier dependent. So far, I am very happy to have bought a renewed version of the latest phone (at the time of this writing), because it was almost 1/2 the price of a new one. And this “renewed” one seems to be perfectly fine so far (almost 2.5 days of use).On that topic (2.5 days of use)…granted I am not on my phone a lot, but I do check it frequently. I charged it full before using it, and I am starting my 3rd day with 44% of battery life. That is pretty impressive. My old phone (S8+) would be roughly 15% before the end of 2 days, but it was 5 years old, so I have to factor age into that comparison. Regardless, I felt I should comment on battery life since that is a common complaint. I realize I am not a power user, in any sense of the word, but am still impressed to be at 44% after 2+ days.

Phone came good
Regarding the state of the phone, everything looks good, all according to the description. Unlocked, good condition (few scratches up and there, just small details) only issue is that the S-pen came in red? I mean, I don’t really mind that much but still something to point out. Regarding the shipment, just a generic box without a fragile sticker or tag??? That can be dangerous.Anyways, I am happy it came good as advertised. After 2 months of use the phone is phenomenal, upgrading to 4 stars.

Samsung phones seem to be better build quality than the rest of the electronics they sell. So if you have a junky TV, refrigerator or washing machine from them , it is not the same.

I’m dissapointed
NOT FACTORY UNLOCKED! I didn’t realize this immediately because it is not specifically sim-locked, and data and calling worked fine. Fast forward 6 months, I get an email from work telling me I’ll be kicked off the MDM policy (work email on personal phone) unless I update my OS. Evidently it was a Verizon phone, which can only receive software updates if you have Verizon SIM card. I have spent days trying to get support from Samsung, Verizon, AT&T, Amazon, and the Amazon seller only to be told to pound sand >:[It would seem my only option now is to take a risk with leaked / pirated firmware flashing, which I’m worried will trip the Knox security (which is the only reason I bought the phone in the first place, as Knox security was required by my employer). The phone itself is also disappointing. I started with a OnePlus 5t, which I was very happy with. When I was required to get a Samsung, I went to an A52 5g. The fingerprint sensor and face recognition were both so bad that unlocking the phone was a massive chore (something I do dozens of times a day). I suffered through this for a little while before upgrading to the S22. I very much resent the trend of under-display sensors which do not perform as well as their more visible counterparts. The S22 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is vastly better than the optical one on the A52, but it still is inferior compared to a sensor on the back of the phone like on my older OnePlus. Heck, even my old galaxy S5 had a better fingerprint sensor. The face detection is a little better than the A52, but not as good as the OnePlus 5t. It really struggles in low light, and must be directly in front of your face. Nobody does face detection as well as Apple, but that’s probably due to patent limitations (and I refuse to go back to iphone until they allow sideloading). One notable issue both the A52 and S22 suffer is an inability to detect they are in my pocket. I must deliberately place the phone with the screen facing outwards or else the fingerprint reader will constantly register false attempts against my leg (which will lock you out of using biometrics)Battery life is not impressive. Once again the 5t was better. This may not be entirely fair b/c I do use the always-on display, but on the other hand the processor should be much more efficient for how much newer it is. I mostly believe this is similar to the issue of constantly waking up in my pocket. A proper proximity sensor could have solved this rather than just using the selfie camera, which is again another example of form over function (It also seems like samsung doesn’t even attempt to detect being in you pocket in order to reduce battery / ignore touch screen).

Good as a brand new one, better price.
Worked perfectly out of the box. Transfered old files using suggested app. Up and running in an hour. Quality phone!

Satisfied
So I wanted to wait a while before I wrote a review and see how the phone performed. I’ve always bought my phones new but with the prices of phones getting expensive I thought I’d take a shot on a used one. I always take care of my phones and actually hold on to them as long as possible. Well, my Samsung S7 Edge just couldn’t keep up with technology. YES! I’ve had a Samsung S7 in 2023. It was/is in near perfect condition even to this day. It was sad to let it go, but it was getting too slow on some apps.I bought this S22 and it’s in perfect condition except for a small scratch on the glass. Only noticable during the day if you’re really looking for it. Looking at the rest of the phone, you would think it was new. I have TMobile for service and I had no problem swapping out the SIM and transferring data. Since then it has performed flawlessly.

So far so good… sort of
There are a couple of things that I just cannot get to work. One of them is to take a screenshot by swiping the edge of my palm across the page. Other than that, it’s a pretty solid phone.
