Sent it Back
Stock camera app wouldn’t work at all. When I opened it I got an error message saying something like the camera couldn’t be found. BUT I was able to return no problem with the Amazon renewed guarantee so I was able to get a different phone once I sent this one back. I gave 3 stars because the rest of the phone (from what I could tell in a day) worked fine and because the return was so easy peezy.

Growing tired of my Moto G Stylus 2021 I wanted something better but affordable. Going after a flagship phone that’s a few years old was a perfect option. This phone upon arrival blew me away. It arrived super fast and clean! No marks what so ever. I was however disappointed upon turning it on that it had 0% battery. I charged it up. Put in my carriers sim and set it up. I’ve had this phone for 15 days now and so far and I’m blown away. Cameras are incredible. The operation of day to day functions are flawless. The battery life is excellent. I purchased an LK 2 Pack Screen Protector kit which was easy to apply and an Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Case, Rugged Protective Cover. Very happy with my purchase. Fingers crossed that I am still feeling this way after the 90 days.

Great after a week
Delivered a day early, well packaged and in great condition.Only issue was with Tello (my carrier) about texting but the issue seems resolved after a update and reset.So overall very pleased with the S20 Ultra and the Amazon Renewed experience.

Worked great but faulty camera
This phone came in perfect condition but the camera did not work. I tried a factory reset and calling samsung but it just never worked. I did tell them and I was able to send it in within 30 days but never end up sending it in due to circumstances and needing a phone connected. Big headache for a year now not having a functioning camera. You would think they verify essential functions operate.

Expensive for dated tech and without correct accessories
The phone is fine. It has a few more small nicks than I would have liked, but it works otherwise. The big issue for me is the accessories. The Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with a 25w fast charger and special usbc headphones, since there is no 3.5mm headset jack. This came with a generic 10w and no special headset. So, had to purchase Bluetooth buds to even use it. And the cheap 10w generic charger doesn’t cut it, so had to buy a 25w.Be careful with these companies that repackage refurbished phones for Amazon. They often include subpar accessories or none at all. You’re already buying an outdated phone that they make money on. The least they could do is include comparable accessories. Some sellers are better than others for the refurbished. I won’t use this seller again.

Very happy
I was a little nervous purchasing this item. I received the phone and noticed it was Verizon. I put my sim card in from my Motorola One Zoom with MetroPCS. Wouldn’t simply just work. I got even more nervous. Then, I decided to call MetroPCS and only got their automated system that worked for me. I just told it my new IMEI number from the phone and it worked within seconds. The only issues (doesn’t really bother me) is when I restart, Verizon logo pops up and once started, it will tell you your sim isn’t a Verizon sim. There was only one quarter inch crack on the back glass at very bottom. Other than that, the phone was perfect. For a still relevant flagship phone, the price was great.

It works.
The first thing I noticed is that it was mostly clean and shiny with no scratches. The second thing I noticed was the rattling sound from something loose inside of it. The third thing was the glued seam was opening slightly. As I charged it and turned it on, the battery life was something that would last all day, at least. The screen was bright and everything seemed to work alright. The charger cable (USB-C) was a little bent where it connected to the phone, but still delivered a power punch to the phone. The reason why I got this particular phone was for the photo quality and video quality as well as the ability to expand the space with an SD card.Conclusion: I mustn’t take this out in water, or it’ll be toast. Get a case asap (ordered). Don’t get too attached to the phone. Take lots of photos and videos.I’m happy to have it so far, except it almost has a mind of it’s own. As long as it does what phones are supposed to do, splendid. Sometimes bells, sensors and whistles that are more for collecting thoughts and feelings than for being a truly useful tool for the user is less than beneficial. I’m fairly certain I’m not the only one who feels this way, though I’m not yet going to go so far as to get the Light Phone, better for those who just want something that rings.

Excellent phone for the 2023 and beyond !
The Samsung S20 Ultra (renewed) has been a great purchase. The seller sent it in a box (not original) but in immaculate condition. The battery (one of the most important things, believe me) holds the charge perfectly after three months of intensive daily use. I can easily use 6 hours of screen and 18 hrs to 26 hrs of standby and it still gives you a remainder of about 25%. The charger that it includes is very bad, but luckily I had one of the fast-charging LG V60 that is magnificent and works very well with the Samsung S20. I always use it with 120hz refresh, the battery is excellent and is not affected. What’s the point of buying hundreds of dollars and using it with 60Hz? that the image is laggy continuously? Always use it at 120hz, excellent screen. The camera is excellent! The ‘steady cam’ that it brings is smooth and very good, but you can’t use it in 4K, you can only use the normal stabilizer in 4K, but if you don’t mind using 1080p. use the super-steady which is magnificent. The 100X Zoom is excellent for distant objects, you don’t necessarily have to use it at 100X, you can increase it little by little, at 60X it takes very acceptable photos (don’t move). The ‘panorama’ option is excellent for landscapes, very very good photos. The video and the portrait option is magnificent, very high quality (don’t forget that it’s a phone, not a professional camera!) I’ve removed many applications that it comes with by default and everything works great. The one I bought came ‘unlocked’ and I connected it to ‘straightalk’ and it works on 5G excellently. The quality of the audio ‘DAC’ is wonderful and I bought the USB-C adapter to listen with portable headphones and it sounds great (adapter on Amazon $6). The sound of the phone audio is perfect, with an emphasis on the midrange, so don’t expect to hear ‘bass’ sounds like you have a subwoofer here. The microphones are excellent. Buy him a protector and take care of him from falls, he is not unbreakable! The protective plastic of the three cameras is very durable and does not scratch, excellent. I recommend it, if you can buy it do not hesitate! Excellent Samsung S20 Ultra 5G, amazing phone!

Works like a dream!
For a fraction of the original $1399-$1599 pricing, this is a fantastic find. My S20 Ultra shipped quickly from Tampa to Phoenix, arrived in very solid packaging, looks perfect, and works as expected.You should probably look up the specs and compare with the phone you have, or compare against other models you’re considering. This is a BIG device, a heavy one too. For reference, I added my Phone Arena size comparison screenshot to show just how large the S20 Ultra is versus my old S10 that it replaced.I have one odd thing to add, I definitely ordered Gray (because it was ~$30 less than Black at the time) and received Black. Not a negative, it lives in a case so I’ll never see the back anyway.

PRODUCT AS EXPECTED
There are many features of the phone that I need to learn to use. This phone is reburbished so if it last with me for 24 months (without abuse on my part), I will be very happy. I tried the camera by taking a picture of a flower in my wall calendar and I am impressed with the colors.I would encourage everyone to buy refurbished electronic products from Amazon because they have a 90 day warranty. The price I paid for this phone is really worth the money.

The Second Hand Rose Works Great

Although, after a return of the first phone and somewhat quick return of a replacement I am very satisfied. 2nd phone is as described, in like new condition. No scratches, screen burn or weak battery. Very good value for the money. Will buy again when needed.

I am not a tech person nor tech savvy but this phone is all I wanted and more. It did not give me any trouble to activate. It’s so sleek and new. Everything is working great except for the battery that is quick to go down but then ,that might be my fault. The delivery was fast and the phone for now is all I prayed for and more. Buy it if you are still pondering on it: you will not regret it. One of the best purchse I have made yet on Amazon. kuddos to the sellers!! Almost perfect condition
upgraded from my 2018 razer phone 2 for the price this model samsung outright beats a lot of the flagships in 2023 not only a good bang for the buck when it comes to price to performance it also has expandable storage which unfortunately alot of newer flagships don’t come with I hate the idea of paying more for less so I stuck to getting a few gens older s20 ultra

Perfect for Verizon Unlocked phone.
Fingerprint works as long as you set it up with the case on. If it was already set up before the case then you will have to remove fingerprint and start over. Hotspot was not working until I called Verizon to activate phone. Even though it was working fine with my Verizon SIMs card you still need to advise Verizon to activate. Phone looks immaculate no scratches or dents.

Camera had lots of scratches. Everything else ok
Phone is beautiful till you get to that part on the cameras. Not sure how it falls under excellent condition when it’s all scratched up. Will try the cameras and see it affects performance in any way before I decide to return or not Update-camera seems to work just fine even with all the scratches it captures amazing video and takes great photos. You can compare this to Apples videos and pictures if that’s what your going for. Battery seems to last a full day and with some heavy usage. Screen is so good I sometimes end up watching 4K videos just to see the quality. Fingerprint is fine some days and annoying some others. Overall 9 out 10!

Avant solutions rated this product as like new, but I would have rated it acceptable at best.
The first thing I noticed when unboxing this phone, reconditioned by Avant Solutions, was no charging cable in box and wear marks on phone, already dropping it from like new to good condition. It turned on without difficulty, and connected to my internet, seeming to work as expected, but then it was time to insert and activate a sim card. There was no sim card insertion tray in phone or in the box, just a hole in the phone for one, so I sent a message to Avant Solutions requesting a charge cable and sim card tray and sim removal tool, supposed to be with phone. As I proceeded to set up and test other features, I soon found that the finger print sensor would not record my finger print, no matter what I tried. Password and numeric code would unlock phone, but finger print would not, nor would it record my face for facial recognition to unlock. There was no screen protector on phone to interfere and screen was clean. Online trouble shooter from Samsung showed that finger print sensor and screen proximity sensor were not working at all. At that point I sent a message to Seller, Avant Solutions, through Amazon, requesting return for refund on this Item. While Amazon approved the return, Avant Solutions sent a message wanting me to go through several proceedures to increase screen sensititity, which I had already tried through samsung trouble shooter. Avant Solutions was sent a third message informing them of this, and reiterating the missing item. They did not respond at all to my first or third message, so item was returned with Amazon Authorization and refunded. never got an opportunity to test phone or text functions.

Buen celular renovado. Pero un gran pero en las cámaras.
He tenido 2 semanas el celular. Y solo lo he usado en total unos 5 horas. Y en ese pco trayecto he visto que todo el sistema está muy bien. PERO, en el sistema de cámaras se evidencia un fallo grande en el sistema de enfoque y corrección de color, pareciera que se le ha cambiado las partes del lente o lentes, que ocasiona que no pueda hacer enfoques y tomas como lo haría uno nuevo.

Great Phone, Display, Speed. Bad Battery Life.
I received the SM-G988UI UNLOCKED 5G from Chubbiestech. I ordered refurbished GOOD and the phone I received had no visible scratches on the screen. Very very minor scuffs on the sides. Overall in much better condition than I expected. One concern is a very small screen burn/ghost image that is only visible in high brightness settings or on certain bright colors and whites. It has not gotten worse though in the month that I’ve had it, in fact nobody I have shown it to can really see it. Overall great condition. Will purchase from Chubbiestech again! Thank you Chubbiestech!On to the phone itself… It was a huge upgrade from my Motorola G Power. I have never used an unlocked phone before but, I had no issues getting this phone to work with my Cricket Sim card. Just popped it in and all was good. Getting good 5G speeds on a $30 a month plan. The display is fantastic. Great Speed. Great upgrade for myself as I usually just go with a $100 phone, or upgrade.It has about a 24 hour battery life though…

Phone came in good condition
Someone was completely dead when it came so in the following weeks. If the battery ends up being bad. I will update the review.The screen looked amazing when I got it out of the box. Only complaint is that the battery was completely dead. The back glass is not sealed properly. I can take my finger now and print it under the screen when these are repaired, they’re supposed to be put through a press that ensures they’re on properly. If it’s not unproperly, it is not dust or water resistant so you may need to get it repaired at a Samsung authorized shop. Like youbreakifix Besides the backglass being in proper. The phone was in perfect condition. There was scratches on the back glass camera that does not affect the pictures.

Not unlocked, charger isn’t rated for this phone, 80% battery is sus
When I plug in the included charger, it says to check the connection and that it will take 7 hours to charge fully. It takes 2 with a decent charger, so the bundles one is basically useless (or it’s the cable, but I shouldn’t be arsed to play debugger to find out what works, that was the seller’s job).This phone still reports that it is locked to T-Mobile. Luckily I have T-Mobile but it is supposed to be unlocked.After installing my apps, and then letting some go to deep sleep and disabling unlimited battery use for some bad offenders, I still only get 2 days out of the battery with minimal usage. Any significant usage and I’m below 50% between waking up and going to bed and have to charge it again. The S20 Ultra is supposed to have significant battery life compared to the other S20 phones, so I’m finding this 80% health claim to be dubious although I don’t know what testing method was used.

Great phone Storage fills too easily.
good phone Just few issues pre installed storage folders & apps need option to be backed up onto SD card or dont add it to internal storage limit. I keep getting notifications that my storage is close to full. Only had phone 1mth. Never had that issue with my Huawei(Love that Phone). Second the power button why did u change thats too annoying to pull down screen hit button 3 times when trying to hurry same with opening the screen, go back to the side button Please! 3rd. finger print does not respond correctly most of the time especiallywith screen protector, my pocket randomly makes calls & orders has even called 911 8 times!. 4th phone Sound ehhh. Keyboard on phone needs 2023 upgrade Along with text messaging. Bring back music ring tones Capable with Spotify or other apps we pay for mthly. Good Camera quality is great. I also Love the FREE Samsung TV app included.

It’s legit.
I was expecting it to be a knock off version of a galaxy but I was like hey if it is I can return it. It turned out to be a genuine galaxy. From the little details to the bigger ones. The glass is the biggest give away, it’s not that cheap glass knock offs have. Although the charger it came with didn’t really work and it doesnt come in the well know galaxy box with the Sim card pick and the fast charger. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Overall I’m very happy with my new phone. 😊😊 Amazon has delivered yet again.

Works fine
I just received my phone today. Needed a little cleaning and there is small screen burnt/screen imprinting from the phone being on for long periods of time throughout the shipping or in general, but its very faint. So far its working just fine and have yet to find anything else! All I suggest is better shipment. Thank you so much!

Would not normally buy renewed but the one I got was like new.
Edit: the Samsung S23 Ultra is now out. After comparing to this one I decided that, for me, the S20 Ultra is a better phone than the S23 Ultra. The S23 is a bit faster, and has a slightly better charging system, but the phone shares the drawbacks initiated with the S21 and S22.This is a PHENOMENAL phone. It took me a week of research, looking at hundreds of phones, before finally settling on this one.I care about the following in a phone1. Replaceable battery and ability to use battery case2. Removable storage that supports AT LEAST 1TB3. Bluetooth 5.0 or greater4. Ability to interface with lots of other devices through multiple interfaces5. Processing power, and ability to reduce to save battery6. Battery life7. It has A camera8. Sufficient internal memory to handle many apps simultaneously9. Support for numerous transmission bandsNo phone out there checks all the boxes as far as I could tell. I would not want most of them if they were free. This one has all but a replaceable battery, and there are aftermarket battery cases that make it a non issue for at least a few years.One might think the S22 would be a better choice because it is newer, but it does not support adding a micro SD card, so that disqualified it from consideration. With phones, newer is newer, but often not better. Verizon is trying to get me to trade in my S20 for an S22. It is a good offer, but I do not want the S22. Maybe the S23 if Samsung engineers put back the card slot, but they probably won’t. This phone is plenty fast with latest Android, so good for 4-5 years.

Great Product, Bad Service
Service: Firstly, I’m going to have to start with the poor service I had gotten from “GreenTech Refurbished”. I bought this phone refurbished from them in, supposedly, excellent condition. Basically meaning that it wouldn’t have any scratches on the back of the phone or on the screen. Unfortunately, the phone had very clear signs of image burn-in. This was disheartening, seeing as to how I paid for a higher amount to get a product in better condition. It wasn’t even advertised anywhere on the listing that it would potentially have display issues, much less actual burn-in. I had contacted them on the issue, and apparently they’re not able to offer replacements, they gave me a choice of returning in for a full refund or keeping for a small partial refund equal to the difference of their excellent condition and good condition phones. I ended up going with the partial refund, because fortunately, it doesn’t get in the way of any of my use with it. I would not recommend buying from them.Product: Now for those who want to know about the product itself and whether or not to buy it. The display is incredible, even in 2023’s standards. I use the phone at 120hz with the lower resolution because I don’t watch much media on it and mainly use it for social and gaming. It supports 120hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution and 60hz at 1440p. The display itself is another great part of the phone, the colors you get with it are just amazing. It is an AMOLED display with HDR10, which really helps with contrast between your blacks and whites and entire color spectrum.The phone comes equipped with 12gb of ram, allowing for not only a stutter-less gaming experience, but also quick multi-tasking with apps. I’ve really enjoyed the phone for the time I’ve had it, it’s quick with any task I try to use it for, not once have I had an app lag or slow down. The crisp screen and smooth motion gives the premium experience you’d want with a more expensive phone. The only real downsides I could even think of saying about this device is that it is an older phone, so software support won’t last too much longer as of the time of writing this review; and this display doesn’t have some of the more modern feature that the newer Galaxy phones have, such as Dynamic Refresh Rate, which basically optimizes the phone’s use of the 120hz refresh rate.Overall, I’d recommend getting this phone over newer ones at the same price point and even older flagships, it’s a great price for all that you get with it, premium user experience, feel, and the camera is amazing even with it being a few years old.Though, if you’re buying it refurbished like I did, I don’t recommend buying it from “GreenTech Refurbished”.

Sent me defective product
The company sent me a defective S20 Ultra. Claimed they checked the phone before they send it out. Phone will not power on at all. Now I have to wait until the phone gets back to them, so my amazon credit to go through, so I can order another phone, which is going to cost me more time. 3 stars because the phone did come a day early but it was a dead phone.

Get your expectations right…
I saw so many reviews saying phone was in bad condition, scratched, details etc. But what do you expect out of a renewed phone? I bought mine in good condition from BHHT Deals and it’s amazing! It obviously has some scratches on the screen and some wear on the charging port but for $250? I really couldn’t ask for anything else considering the specs, screen, quality etc. It is incredibly worth for the price everything working properly, looking great!I’ll definitely be buying another one for my girlfriend’s birthday!

OMG I must have bought this half asleep because i was looking for a note 20 Ultra 6.9″ And I found this for a GREAT price!I’m keeping this phone, even though i clearly didn’t want it initially. I would have given it 5 stars if Samsung would have given the 20 ultras and 19:5:9 aspect ratio like the notes series received. After all the note series was replaced with the ultra series. sold It and bought the 10 plus again.

I was surprised how clean and “new” it looked
I am very surprised how clean and almost new looking this phone is. I can’t see a single scratch on the glass or the back. I’m assuming for the ones that put bad reviews (but this is just my assumption and I could be wrong) is when they bought the the phones it tells you the condition so if you buy an excellent one, I’m assuming it’s almost new but if you buy an okay condition then you’re going to get what you paid for. This is my second used phone I buy and so far the quality of the phones has been great.

At the moment I am using it as my personal device, the equipment has several problems.The screen has marks from the game call of duty.The charging port does not fully enter the cable.The sound of the device is low although the two speakers do work.Aesthetically it looks old 7/10 it has several scratches and damage to the casing and camera.I have to do additional tests like wireless charging and power test, video editing.

Great Phone, so far
I have had all sorts of phones, from Motorola, Nokia, LG, Samsung and iPhone. I am GC and am very hard on my phone. They get dropped, coffee spills, water spills, paint, all sorts of crazy things get on it. Now with the danty style of today’s newer phones with the gorilla glass and high tech this and that, I need a bullet proof phone. I need one that can get dropped, with out breaking, works when I do and as hard as I do. I have always had mediocre luck with Samsung phones (my last one was a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge so a significant upgrade since then, what’s that been 6 or 7 years? My last phone was an iPhone XR) so I have high expectations that this phone will last a long time. After reading reviews after reviews I think I made a wise decision. The only problem that I have found so far and it’s no fault of the phone, but the screen protectors, front and back, they are absolute trash. They don’t sit on the phone well at all, the fingerprint scanner doesn’t work with with the sub par screen protectors. I will have to keep looking, if any one knows a good one shoot me a message.

Renewed/Refurbished is Great
I bought this phone for my 16 year old. Due to her screen went black on her A53. This S20 Ultra 5G renewed is cheaper than a new A53 so I bought it. Only took 2 days to get here plugged her Sim card in it and registered her Samsung account to the phone and it works Great. So if you are on the wall about getting one. Get off the wall. It’s a great phone And it looks very new. Now the charger they sent in the box with the phone is junk. ( only .5 Amp chargers) lol but the phone is perfect. Good thing I have a bunch of 65W Charges around to be able to use the super fast charging that the phone uses. Your phone may take 2 hours to charge from 0% this one only takes 30 to 45 mins with my chargers. I don’t have a photo of the phone because my daughter was excited to get it. Lol and started using it. She loves it.

Renewed, but with some quirks
This is my second venture with a “renewed” phone. I bought one from another retailer outside of Amazon that was supposed to be ‘fully unlocked’ but when I booted it up, it turned out to be locked to AT&T, so after some issues with that seller, I returned it.After that ordeal, I was hesitant about the whole “renewed” experience, but I found this one here on Amazon and decided to try it based upon other reviews. I needed to replace a broken phone and was not prepared to pay for a new S series phone. While this was a better experience, it had some quirks. It says “fully unlocked” in the description and maybe I misunderstood what that means vs. “factory unlocked,” I don’t know. When I went to put my T-Mobile SIM card in it, there was already and AT&T SIM card in it. (guess the seller forgot to pull it) I was a little concerned this would be an issue, but no, my T-Mo SIM worked and connected to the 5G network with no issues. There did seem to be some bloatware/game apps that I deleted after checking. Being 3 years old, it did need Android updates and Samsung updates. The updates took awhile, but it did update to Android 13 and Samsung One UI version 5.1. It seemed to get stuck on that last Samsung update, but after clearing the cache and using the repair feature in the boot menu it is operating just fine.When I accessed my Samsung account, it is listed as Xfinity Mobile so it is not a “factory unlocked” phone like my S22 Ultra I bought directly from Samsung.As far as cosmetics of the phone, it has one flaw that I can see. The weird bubble on the back camera glass as shown in the photo. Don’t know what it is or why, but it is not affecting the photo, video, or flash. I found no scratches, dents, or dings. That I’m happy with and feel meets the product description for a “renewed” phone.As I was able to do what I needed to do for updates, apps, etc., so I didn’t feel the need to contact the seller.Overall, because of the mystery SIM card, the Xfinity Mobile description, the weird bubble on the back, and the “fully unlocked” description, I’m not thrilled with my purchase experience so I don’t feel it worthy of more than 3 stars. I think it was a ‘fair’ experience and thus 3 stars is fair. I will keep and use the phone especially since it’s the last of the micro SD card flagship phones from Samsung.If you haven’t bought a “renewed” product yet, I’d say give it a try, but be openminded about it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone!
I wanted a phone that was affordable, took great photos, and could add memory to. This phone does all that! It has been the best phone I have owned to date, and has always be reliable. Battery life is great, phots are great, plenty of storage, what’s not to like? Would buy again, and highly recommend it.

Camera is dead and the phones battery drains very fast
So The camera had a popup “Warning: Camera Failure”. Took it to a Samsung dealer and they said it’s happened to tons of older Samsung phones (mine being the Galaxy S20 Ultra) and there is nothing they can do. The tech said he tried to help the first 30 out of 100 people who came to him with the problem, after that he’s just told them it’s software or hardware issue that is on the motherboard and can not be repaired (something to do with the Android 12 update killing them).Seller did (kinda) offer a partial refund to cover the costs of repairing the device with the second option to just return it for a refund. The Samsung tech said “short of replacing the whole motherboard, its not going to work, and it would be less expensive to just buy a brand new phone.”Seller did not have the option to replace the phone. Because of this I had to order another phone from a different vendor. This also means that I had to pay ANOTHER $30 connection fee with my phone carrier to switch my sim over to another phone!Update: just to be fair, The second phone I ordered from Joygoods CR would not stay connected to the network. Back to the Samsung tech for another diagnosis. This time he was not sure, but it looked like the unlocked phone was still sim network locked? I am waiting to hear back from Joygoods to see if they can fix the issue… Maybe don’t buy refurbished!If I had not already 2x connection fees and dropped $40 into the custom Otterbox case for the Galaxy s20 Ultra I probably would have just returned it by now and gone in to pick up a more basic phone off the shelf. With a warranty, and less problems. Whee! spending more and more on a dead horse.

Best new budget phone by far!
I was looking to pickup a budget phone around 3-400 dollars. When I started doing some research, I noticed this deal, where I could get a top-of-the-line phone from 2 years ago for less than half price. Spec-wise, this device is equivalent to the s22 ultra with very minor exceptions (EXTREMELY minor, like camera and variable refresh rate).Comparing this device to all the current budget phones from Google, Apple, Samsung, Nord, Moto, TCL, etc., this device seems to be the best value for the price. Between the refresh rate, battery, AMOLED HDR display (boasting 1400 nits of brightness) , stereo speaker audio, 12gb ram, security/software updates (for at least another couple of years at the time of writing), this phone is absolutely killer.The refurbished part scared me at first, as I normally buy all my devices new, but I have no complaints here. My device genuinely feels brand new.My only complaints about this phone are mostly personal problems rather than the phone being faulty. For example, I kind of hate how clear the front-facing camera is. I may need to get new glasses or something, but the picture is more detailed than looking in the mirror. When I take a selfie, I see all the disgusting blemishes in high detail (I’ll work on being less ugly, but regardless, it maybe something to note if you take a lot of selfies, you may need some software to blend the photos a little better).Another complaint is the jarring effect of the main camera trying to switch focus. I don’t take very many pictures, but if you’re trying to take a fast picture, that might be an issue.The display does not allow for 144hz and 1440p at the same time. It’s kind of a bummer, but I’m just excited to finally leave my 60hz life behind.Opening a couple of games, this phone performs extremely well, but I did find it odd that it did not allow for higher graphics options on games like Genshin Impact or Diablo Immortal, since it defaulted these games to high graphics rather than highest (not that I play waifu simulator or Diablo Immoral, but I did need to benchmark my credit card somewhere).Lastly, this may be just my shipment, but the cord did not work for transferring data from my old Note 8 to the S20. Fortunately, you can transfer everything wirelessly, and the cord I got works for fast charging. It’s just an odd issue worth noting.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this device. I don’t normally write reviews, but here I am writing a book on my experience with it, so maybe that’s a testimony in itself. Hopefully this helps someone on-the-fence about picking this one up.Edit: this was purchased from Edge Cellular

Not Unlocked, Issues Unlocking
I got the refurbished one. The phone arrived on July 16, 2023. It’s supposed to be unlocked, but upon inserting our SIM Card (T-Mobile), it says “Insert an AT&T SIM Card.” I contacted Amazon support and told them the issue. I was told to call Samsung Support. When I called Samsung Support, I was told Verizon has a lock on the phone (per their records). There was no online unlocking option for Verizon but AT&T did, so I filed a request with AT&T. On the 17th, I called Verizon Support, and I was told that the phone was locked with Verizon under a different person’s name. I told them it’s refurbished phone. Anyway, they said that the phone was unlocked after a few months it was registered and should no longer be locked. On the 19th, I got a reply from AT&T saying they require further research about the phone, and that they will get back with me as soon as they can. It’s now August 1 (13 days since last email from them). I started a return, and ordered another one. I will update my review when the replacement arrives and working.Edit: The replacement came in, and it has been working great, so I upped this to three stars (from one). I did finally receive an AT&T message saying the device is not an AT&T device, so they couldn’t unlock it. Not sure why the device is displaying a message to put in an AT&T SIM Card. Seller needs to verify the device is unlocked before sending it over. I’m glad the new one works, but I wasted time trying to troubleshoot this.
