The phone would simply not work. Even after hours on the phone with the company that provides the on line connectivity.I purchased another model of phone and it worked beautifully

Does what I needed from my Galaxy S phone
This is a replacement for the Galaxy S8+ I destroyed recently. It has the same size screen, same amount of RAM, same storage and just as fast processing if not faster. The fingerprint reader on the screen is touchy and doesn’t work with my screen protector. Best of all it was 1/4 the cost!!

Misleading Description – Good Phone Though
Only used the phone for a few minutes, seemed to work well and was in excellent condition. The problem I have with it is the description of the product is “Works with most major US carriers”. As a CDMA/GSM unlocked phone I’d expect it to work with Verizon, or to state that it does not work with Verizon. They are a major carrier after all. Nope. It does not.

Disappointed
Really wanted to like this phone… but I don’t like it. The speed is too slow. Whenever I try to access social media, it takes a while for the screen to appear. I bought this phone after seeing reviews, but it’s so slow and bad. And so many apps have issues. Normal browsing and then I click back and the app freezes. Then I have to close all the apps to fix it. And It is unlocked and work with T-mobile, that’s the only good things…

Nothe made for the USA
Unfortunately, due to the fact that my carrier (ATT) stated the phone I purchased is only operational in Korea, I am unable to review the quality and technical aspects of the Samsung Galaxy A50. It states phone is USA version when it’s actually Korean version.

Great phone!
I’ve had this song for a few days now. I’m very pleasantly surprised with the build quality and functionality of the fold. It doesn’t feel like a mid range phone. There wasn’t a scratch on it. It was in all new packaging didn’t even have the plastic wrap taken off yet. The screen is beautiful the battery life is incredible. It worked as soon as I put my SIM card in, so it really is unlocked. If you need a new android phone, I highly recommend this one!

Unlocked? Annoying was set up as Tracfone
I had previously ordered a Renewed & Unlocked Samsung A10e from a different Amazon supplier when my original cracked. I was totally happy with that – truly unlocked and no nonsense when dropping in my existing SIM card. I got this one as a backup and didn’t set it up until later, assuming it would be the same. When finally doing so, it was a very disappointing surprise (too late to return). It has Trackfone splash startup and shutdown splash screens, as well as other Tracfone bloatware, including some that can’t be uninstalled. VERY ANNOYING. If I wanted that kind of unpredictability I could have ordered one for 1/3 of the price off eBay. Amazon should be more strict with their “Renewed” providers.

NOT COMPATIBLE with CRICKET’S new changes!
I can’t comment on battery life or anything for that matter. It works fine, but the issue is, due to Cricket’s new changes, they aren’t adding any new phones, to services, that aren’t running 4G or higher. This phone runs on 3G and is not compatible with my network. This would have been most helpful information had it said “3G” in product description. Now I have to return it and find my daughter something reasonably priced, that is compatible!

Low quality aftermarket LCD screen
Phone arrived in good condition but immediately I could tell that the screen was a non-OEM aftermarket LCD (vs OLED) screen with a thicker bezel, but more importantly faded, washed out colors. The screen also did not have an oleophobic coating which wasn’t a big deal but just something to note. The dead area around the front-facing camera was also noticeably larger and of different shape. The fingerprint sensor did seem to work perfectly however, which from the reviews I’ve seen on aftermarket screen replacements on amazon, is uncommon.I will be returning this phone.

I received the item from the onset with a faulty battery from the onset.
I received the item with a faulty battery as the phone from the onset was unable to hold its charge and was not turning on. I gave the supplier the opportunity to correct but my issue has remained unresolved to date. Giving the item was delivered to my skybox as I reside in Trinidad, I paid out of pocket for the phone to be returned to the address advised by the supplier, it came back today Aug 30, 2023 (after all this time) as undelivered unable to contact business.

Sprint software!!!
The phone came with a lot of Samsung and Sprint software that does not allow you to uninstall or disable. It also came with gambling apps and TikTok. It was quite disappointing because the unlocked description meant my expectations were at least no proprietary carrier software to have to mess with. We are on the Verizon network.

Decent and gets the job done.
My previous phone had a Crack in the screen so I bought this since it was identical to my old phone. Overall a great deal for the price but given my experience in the future I would spring for the better phone because there are a lot of bugs and delays in speed like the phone is slow and the battery dies like twice a day.

beautiful not compatible with Cricket 🙁
I purchased the phone and I fell in love with it once I opened the box, very very minor defects mainly on the headphone jack and one corner, that was the worst but still light scratches. The screen was impecable and I loved it but unfortunatly it didn’t work on my cricket plan so I have to return it so depressing. but great phone other than that.

Like new and perfect
I have Q Link and his phone works great I had no problem with syncing from my old account, took my new sim after resetting thenetworks, of course……at start it up it says u.s. cellular but so does my other clear Samsung with T-Mobile. The imei is all good. I guess because they did own it at one point, it has the them downloaded in somewhere but I don’t care enough to worry about removing it. Plus, it came very fast. It has the smallest line starch, that I only saw because I was trying to see the Imei or I would never noticed. It’s that little. idc what they say about this shop…ur ok in by me. I will edit if that changes. lol.Update: it’s been weeks and I wouldnt know this phone isn’t my orginal tmobile bought one. Except the us cellular start up…works better actually because orginal was a hand-me-down

Dont wirk on wifi
I purchased this as a replacement for my other phone but my other phone started working again so I just now got this out of the case and tried using it. It will not work on any Wi-Fi you have to scan a barcode and even then it has trouble connecting it will not see any other connections I don’t know what’s wrong with this phone but I feel like I wasted money on it. It’s pretty much a paperweight

i’ve had better
Within 30 days I had issues with the phone freezing up. The features weren’t that great, when I am on a call and after I’m done the phone would not allow me to hang up. After 90 days I dropped the phone. I was bending over and from knee length (I’m 5′ 5) and the phone cracked and would not turn back on. The screen went totally black. it was not a hard drop and was less than 2 feet from the ground. I have had other Samsung phones that dropped harder and within a good height and nothing happened. It was just a bad day all around for me that day.

good phone
I had the Galaxy 6 and finally upgraded to AS50. I like the bigger size. Good camera with a few different tricks. I need to get used to when the ph is asleep and dark screen as the automatic recognition home screen lights up. I always had to click a button to light up screen. Anyway, I dislike where the volume buttons and power button is located. I keep grabbing the phone at that area and its annoying when I press the buttons inadvertently. Really really like the battery life. Otherwise good phone.

Good value for money
The phone works well overall, wasn’t sure what to expect with a refurbished phone but cosmetically it was good and functions well overall. The touch screen is not as sensitive as the center around the edges, that is the only issue noticed. The phone feature are good for the price. Things like signal, gps, etc. all work well, and the speed of the phone for internet and browsing is good.

Be sure to check. May not be usable now that 3G is turning off
I liked the phone. However despite the ad it is not fully unlocked. It was a former Sprint phone and per Samsung support based on the IMEI number it is carrier locked to Sprint and 3G was not enabled on this device.3G networks are being shut down nation wide and T_Mobile just discontinued in my area. Actually had a crane by local tower removing 3G antennas to replace with 5G. At that time I lost most ability to use data and could not use VoLTE any more.

Unlocked phone
Came unlocked but was not able to connect to our home wifi. It took a while to get it connected. Then I was not able to download PayPal, or any bank apps. So took the phone to a phone company. They poked around but was able to figure out why. Even tried various SIM cards. Traveled aboard the phone just came alive. Every app that didn’t work in USA worked like a charm. I used a local SIM to be able to communicate with friends & family. Worked well in Singapore, Turkey etc. (Not a paid customer)

Minor issues
Being a renewed product I’d understand some issues but the issues were very minor. Biggest flaw I had was that messages and calls were very delayed. Like I’d call my fiancé (she’s the one who I got the phone for) and it would not ring on her end until like 45 seconds afterwards and I get sent directly to her voicemail.

The One I Received Was Carrier Unlocked Not Factory Unlocked
The phone I received was not a factory unlocked phone. It was a Verizon phone that had been carrier unlocked. It had the preinstalled Verizon apps that cannot be uninstallled. The phone itself looked to be in good shape and seemed to work fine but I plan to return it since it isn’t factory unlocked. It was well packaged in generic packaging with a generic charger and cable as expected with a renewed item. For someone okay with a carrier unlocked phone instead of a factory unlocked one I think it would be a good purchase considering the price difference.

Poor quality screen
It came with a cheap aftermarket screen. The fingerprint sensor never worked with it and always gave an error that it needed calibration. After about a week of use, the screen cracked while in its case in my pocket, something that has never happened to any of my previous phones, including other Galaxy A50. Contacted seller about fingerprint sensor issues and only received “we’ll look into it” type responses, but with no actual solution. Also, the camera cutout on the screen was considerably bigger than on other A50 screens. See pictures for examples.Aside from the screen issues, the phone functioned properly and came with all of the expected parts.

Amazing for the price
Needed a newer phone as my phone was too old to support my phone plan anymore. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on useless features. This phone is new enough to be fast and has just the right amount of features for the price. The camera is better than my old one. Fingerprint scanner doesn’t always read the first time, although I’ve heard that’s an issue with more expensive models as well. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase overall.

The phone was packaged very secure. It came with a regular charger. The phone worked well. It looked great, I would have loved to have kept it! Samsung’s the Best
Received this phone as a Christmas gift and I have to say I am very happy with it. Samsung’s have always had the best phones in my opinion but I’d had a Motorola for a while and was simply unhappy with it. So having a Samsung again is great.

Does not keep charge
Fingerprint reader takes a few attempts to recognize me, sometimes i juat put in the code to get in faster. Most annoying is that the battery dies not last as long as i would like it to. If im at 100% at 7 am by 5 pm my battery is showing red. My A11 battery lasted a full work day into the night.

Ok for the price
The battery life is very good. Charges very quickly. The phone is no frills no thrills. I’ve never even tried to use the fingerprint feature. I don’t like that I’m forced to key in a pin every time I have a small lapse of not using it. The camera pictures & videos are pretty clear. I went from a J7 to this A50. not too much difference.NOTE: the company that distributed this phone – the box it came it was all beat up, like they went to the trash to find something to mail the phone in. Very, very tacky

Activated with no problems
I went to Sprint’s website and figured out what SIM card I needed for this model which I ordered a the same time (cost about 2$). When the phone arrived it was in like-new condition. I set it up, put in my SIM card, and Sprint was able to get me activated over their web chat in about 15 minutes (the first person I got there said I had to go to a store, so I reconnected and got someone who said it was no problem). Battery life is great- I’m not a heavy phone user so it lasts about two days. When I do recharge it only takes about 30 minutes. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a phone that still does everything, this is a great choice.
