    Great TV while it lasted

Great television while it lasted. We connected our TIVIO into HDMI 1 port and our Roku into HDMI 2. The TIVIO gave us our local station via an HD antenna and the Roku all our Internet services. Life was good as we could easily navigate between the two HDMI ports. Most of the Internet services like Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc. were available via the Samsung apps on the television but we were used to our Roku. Anyway, all was great for 10 months and then the television stopped switching between sources. I’d hit the Home button on the remote, which used to bring up the menu to switch between sources, and nothing would come up. I tried everything to fix the issue from replacing batteries in the remote, to resetting the remote, unplugging the television for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in, was on the phone with customer support for over an hour and even did a factory reset of the television. Nothing worked. I could go into the settings and choose to setup sources and while doing that switch between TIVO and Roku, but that is a huge pain to do every time you want to switch sources. When next I decide to invest in a new “Smart TV” I’ll think twice before going with a Samsung.

    Super Samsung

This an amazing 50 inch led television. The sound quality is great and picture viewing is beautiful. All programs and movies looks crystal clear. The built quality is sleek, modern, and very lite weight. All television features (Wi-fi , app attahments, etc ..) are simple to operate with excellent voice commands. This is the best value for this price point.

Good Quality Picture for Budget TV!

I purchased this 50 inch version to replace my Smaller 43 inch TV in my living room. I gave my daughter the 43 for her new bedroom setup and that TV still performs and looks great from 2019. The 2022 version has some different eco settings that severely hamper the picture quality but once I made my own picture setting adjustments I was able to achieve the same desired picture quality like my smaller TV. The newer version just takes a bit more figuring out in the picture setting modes but overall I’m satisfied with it so far. I recommend to anyone looking at this model it is a good buy. Just turn off all of the worthless eco friendly settings and enjoy your good quality picture!

    Great picture, great value.

We love this Samsung picture quality, features and sound. And it didn’t break the bank. Noticibly better than our Toshiba and Hisense. Haven’t figured out how to just play the sound without the picture, but have a feeling that’s me, not the TV. 🙁

    Great Value for QLED

So this review is after two weeks of regular use of the tv with the bundled soundbar we were very pleased. We use YouTubeTV, Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Things in 4k with appropriate sound signal are simply amazing. Will add that it took a day to get the settings just right for our home and light situation. Glare is minimal and not noticeable. TV is mounted on the southern wall of the house which gets a lot of natural light with windows facing east and west. One thing that needs to be noted is signals sent in 720 can be grainy and needs adjusting. Also if able to hard wire Ethernet to the tv I recommend it.

    Great Purchase

I was unsure about ordering this tv after reading some of the negative reviews, but then realized every tv out there has negative reviews and if a decision was made soley on that aspect, I would never buy one. Based upon previous purchases, I consider Samsung a high quality brand and finally decided to order this one for my living room for non-gaming use. The setup was very easy, the sound and picture quality is fantastic and so far I am extremely pleased with the purchase. Additionally, the tv was delivered quickly and very well packaged without any damage or missing pieces. I would most certainly recommend this product to others.

    Cables and user interface

It has a satisfactory picture for the price point rather than stunning or eye popping performance. II knocked off a star for two items.1) The old Samsungs had an external box (replacing one whose LEDs failed after 4 years) that allowed all the connections to be grouped into one cable that climbed the wall into the TV. There is no such box here. If you’ve 3 or 4 inputs, that will be 3 or 4 cables climbing the wall.2) The user interface is clunky and not intuitive, especially in regards to input device types and the universal remote. The setup assumes an OEM world of cable and blue ray boxes … with more modern streaming devices lumped in an OTT (on the top category). All the engineering effort seems to have been concentrated into edge use cases like tying to own brand DEX and webcams.

served my purpose for larger screen for me to see as an elderly person

I had a terrible time learning how to use the Smart portions and barely use ANY. I purchased a new 40 mile antenna in order to get “local live TV”. I am generally annoyed by the term “live”, “now” that many of the streaming taped shows, annoyed that Alexa which I’ve never used in my home and do not want in my home doesn’t know what PBS Passport is and I still don’t know how or where to put access to it without using my old Firestick. Totally ridiculous. I am now able to see most of the shows and channels I’m used to using on a daily basis. I’m already paying for Netflix and Hulu and not sure if I stopped paying them separately if I would still have access. The remote was tricky to learn, my 51 yr old Daugher helped me.

    Incredible picture

I replaced a 55” HDTV with this and the upgrade in picture quality is stunningSetup was straightforward. Do need a Samsung account Most apps I need were already present. The smart tv functions work well Apps load faster than on my Roku or Fire TVs. Wi-Fi works well. An unexpected benefit is that this TV does a way better job streaming than either my Roku or Fire TV.TV sound is a weak I’m running the sound through my existing sound bar instead.I also don’t love the remote. SmartThings provides one for your phone which is better. Better ones are available through the App Store but all I’ve found require a subscription

    HDMI Port dont work properly

I’ve purchased several Samsung TV’s and I am very disappointed with this purchase.I’ve had my TV 3 weeks and I’m returning.Out of the box, the picture looked good, but had issues connecting my Apple TV 4K.In short, I’ve replaced the Apple TV for a new one, replaced 3 HDMI cables and tried various ports.Sometimes my Apple TV works, sometimes the image blinks on and off and sometimes the picture if full of static. The remote sucks too.UPDATE:I had decided to return this TV. The night before my scheduled return I reset the TV. Once I completed the reset everything worked perfectly.I cancelled my return and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ve gotten used the the remote. It isn’t that bad. There are some cool features such as Samsung TV and the gaming feature.

Great tv. They even sent me the 2023 model when I ordered the 20222 model. And the 2023 is better for gaming. So gold star for Amazon. It a great tv. With a Samsung sound bar it rocks the house gaming and tv shows. Pick a winner again.

    Remote control is not great

Overall, the TV picture is good, sound quality minimal….you really need a sound bar! But the remote control is bad…I’m not able to adjust the volume with the remote, have to ask Alexa to increase the volume and the response time for her is slow. When asking Alexa for a particular program, typically the wrong program comes up, so the voice command isn’t recognizing my wording….I’ve read other people have this same issue. Fortunately one can replace the remote with a better one, but Samsung needs to up their game on this!!

    No Volume

This is the second time that I have had no Volume. Only purchased on March 21,2023Had to unplug and wait 20 seconds. Plug it back in and Volume works. Only 8 months old and I have to do this? Very disappointed. Sometimes I believe that they sent me a refurbished TV at a new TV price. Last time I purchase a TV from Amazon.

    Good TV upgrade

I like the picture quality on my new Samsung TV. It was easier to set up than I expected, however I find it hard to select the input sources. Thery are now named as they are on the imputs on the back of the TV.I had a problem with delivery. When I begin the order, the site showed only one possible delivery date. This date was the only impossible date in a two months period. I chatted with Amazon, and I was assured that the item would be delivered before that date. I rechatted again, and received absolute assurance. However, I received notification that it would be delivered on the impossible date. I contacted the delivery company twice, and they assured me that it would not be delivered on the impossible date, and that I would receive notification 36-48 hours before the actual delivery. However, on the impossible date, I got a call saying that it would be delivered in 20 minutes. Apparently agents with both Amazon and delivery can not be believed

    Outstanding

This QLED Samsung 65 inch TV is amazing, from start to finish. Packaged beautifully, best engineered mounting legs I have best seen. Didn’t have to read instructions. Simple walkthrough on screen.Really easy menus, easy and quick to adjust picture settings. Here’s a tip; get a close shot of a person or head shots of a group of people and pause the shot to adjust picture settings.I did not receive any gratuity for this review, it’s straight up honest. Go to a place like Costco to see the TV’s side by side and you will see the difference in color and detail. You will go with the higher priced models for the picture colors and details. I did not want to drop a thousand plus, so this TV was the best purchase for the size and money. The only downside of this and any sound that comes built in with any TV is that you have to have a sound bar for the complete TV experience. Amazon carry’s a lovely sound bar, a Sony that is just under a hundred bucks.

An All Around Solid TV, A Few Tweaks Would Be Nice

We’ve had this TV for about 1 month now and so far it’s a pretty good TV. The images are sharp and vibrant, sound quality is what you’d expect of TV speakers- clear enough, gets loud enough. One complaint on this is that some of the smart features are not excellent. For example, on the remote, there are several buttons to open up Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc. but there’s no way to change where those buttons lead. So for someone like me, who uses Hulu more often than anything else, the only other direct option is to use the microphone, which frequently misunderstands me- as most voice activated things do. I also wish I could use the voice commands to go directly to one show (ie “open X FIles on Hulu” vs. “Open Hulu”…*Opens Hulu*… *type in name of show/scroll*)We even connected it to our Google Home, but even still, the voice commands are limited in what they can do and it’s usually just faster to do it manually.Still though, I really can’t complain. it’s pretty decent overall and once I start playing my shows, it’s usually smooth sailing.

    Great Product

Trying to bypass Samsung permissions on the tv for privacy concerns is difficult on all samsung models & the tvs have issues a but with the remotes syncing. Eventually, it will work- be patient. I now own 5 Samsung QLED tvs & i have the larger sizes as well as the smaller & midsize ones. I have a background in film & i find the picture quality nice.

    TV for Bedroom

Needed a TV for the bedroom and I already had a larger Samsung for the living room. This one is doing well, and while some folks don’t think the sound is all that great, its fine for us. I suppose putting an affordable sound bar up there would up the quality of the sound, but we watch it for a short bit when we hit the sheets, and I don’t have any complaints. The picture quality is good, and set up was pretty easy. It’s WiFi’d into my home WiFi with no problem, and our iPhones will airplay on there with no problem. I use an amazon fire stick to aid in my shows.

Very good value for the price

The picture is excellent! I’m not as enamored with the sound and volume, though I suspect that may have more to do with my cable interface than with the TV itself. Getting used to the Samsung Smart TV interface was a small challenge. Too much “Samsung TV” and huge ads in the “choosing” area – and less non-verbal control than I like – but I’ve adjusted. The remote needs a volume up and down button, but is otherwise well designed. All in all this TV is a great buy.

The remote needed to be paired manually to insure proper functioning. The picture quality is very good. As other reviews indicated there is some blurring on quick motions. Using the smart remote will require a bit of work since on screen menu must be used frequently.

One thing to know about this

Love this tv but, it has some pretty nasty light bleed in any dark scene or if the stander letterbox is anywhere corners will always bleed through. Be sure to see my photo. That said, I knew what I was buying, if I wanted true blacks with no light bleed I would have bought an oled but that’s a bit out of my price range. I can live with this although at times a bit frustrating for super dark scenes.I own the 75” version of this tv

    Beautiful Screen!

I love almost everything about it. I have zero idea what to do with the remote – hardly anything is labeled and there are no instructions. How do I get printed instructions for the remote? Like, MUTE, STOP a video, PAUSE a video, and so many more. Also, the volume control is difficult to operate – just the TV volume control from my cable box is very poor. If something is playing thru streaming, it can be very loud. What gives? I need help from Samsung. Will it ever be sent to me?

It’s cheap for 70”, but you get what you pay for in picture quality

I may have been spoiled by my Panasonic Vierra Plasma for all these years. I finally jumped up to the 4k tech, but with this TV, it’s just not a great quality picture. Specifically, it’s not bright enough, has poor black levels, and the “clouding” affect of LEDs, which I was unaware of, really is a major detractor with my unit. You basically can’t watch the TV unless the room is completely dark. Even then, the “clouding” affect on mine even makes dark-room viewing mediocre. Plasmas also aren’t good for non-dark viewing, but they’re (at least the one I have) far better than this, even as a long defunct 1080p tech.If you can afford it, make the extra investment in an OLED. This purchase was very disappointing.

Great value at a reasonable price

Last TV I purchased was a Panasonic Plasma in 2005. This one is Light Years ahead in almost every aspect. Very good picture, good sound and about 1/4 the weight of my old tv. Set up was extremely easy and connected with my Wi-Fi without trouble. The TV has 3 HDMI ports for easy connection of Satt/cable boxes or DVD players and the included remote has a USB C style rechargeable battery port (but does Not include a charging cable). The included stand for the TV are a pair of removable plastic “L” type brackets – they work well in stabilizing the unit. Samsung has a good rep with TV’s so hopefully it will have long term durability. The short while I have had this unit I’ve been very impressed with the quality and features for a very reasonable price.

    The software is shockingly bad.

This was my family’s first venture into having a smart TV. We’ve always had dumb TVs, we hooked them up to the DVD player and to a computer for streaming services. Well, we decided to get with the times and try a smart TV, and wow, I wish we hadn’t.The software on this TV is way more buggy than it should be allowed to be. On top of that, the UI is baffling. I’m generally very tech literate, and I find the UI almost unusable. Settings seem to be laid out in the most nonsensical way possible. I constantly laughing in utter disbelief at this TV, I can’t believe that a QA tester somewhere used this TV and decided it was good enough to roll out. I’m about to move out and I’m scared what’s going to happen when I leave this TV with my Gen X/boomer parents. I don’t think they’re going to have the patience and intuition to figure out how to do even basic things on this ridiculous TV.The search feature is absolutely awful. It must be biased towards certain streaming services, because for half the titles you search, you get terribly optimized results. Often, you’ll only get things like the sing-along version and a YouTube clipshowas you type in the title. It’s only once you’ve typed in the entire title perfectly and completely (using the arrow keys on the remote!) that the search feature begrudgingly shows you the movie you want to watch. Now, maybe this is just me being behind the times, but I was shocked when this TV showed up without analog audio output. It didn’t even occur to me that someone would make a TV without that. They really want you to get their Bluetooth speaker, I guess. No thanks, I’ve got a whole audio setup already. We had to get a digital-to-analog adapter, and the audio is kinda buggy when I put it through that setup. Might be the fault of the adapter, but still, how ridiculous that the TV wouldn’t have analog output.I also just kind of assumed that it would be easy to hook the TV up to a computer and switch to HDMI input for a nice, simple monitor. Nope. You have to navigate the awful smart TV UI in order to open an app that shows the HDMI input. Tried to watch something from my computer last night, and it just wouldn’t work. Took something like 20 minutes and a weird workaround to actually get both video and audio playing. At this point, this review is just a screed against smart TVs, but dear God, if we’re going to keep doing this smart TV thing, can we at least make them work well?

    Faulty remote

We have had this TV since Christmas 2022. I feel bad not writing this sooner but life has been eventful and my memory has been bad 😕.The remote has been a pain since day one. Most of the time it keeps going when I press any key once. It will turn the volume all the way up or all the way down with one touch of the button. It will cycle through all shows in an app with one touch. It goes completely around selections many times before you can get it on the target volume, app, or show. It’s so frustrating. It also does not have enough HDMI outlets. It only has two so if you want to set up more than one gaming system and a dvd player, you have to get a splitter. It doesn’t have any audio video outlets to easily accommodate an 10 year old surround sound system. Other than that, the TV is great.

Excellent Tv color clarity of picture

Love the color and clarity of picture, perfect images and beautiful to watch. I bought a sound bar to enhance bass volume for a perfect bedroom TV. My daughter first bought through Amazon, in small bedroom sound wasn’t issue and I fell in love with the tv, it’s the best out of three TVs I purchased at local stores, two returned. I searched long and decided to give Amazon second chance to send a TV of this size it’s amazing the quality job they did getting it delivered. Would recommend to anyone this is the best TV out there in my opinion

    Good Tv

The media could not be loaded.

Pros This tv is nice the picture is great and the sound is good and it is thin still packs some weight being it’s a 75in. Cons for some Dumb reason Samsung decided to put the optical cable port on the back of the tv so when I plugged the optical cord in it got bent and made the tv Polk out slightly which I said forget the surround sound I’ll rather have my tv flushed to the wall please Samsung fix this.

    Very good picture

This is a significant improvement over my older Samsung. The picture is excellent – I can see facial pores, not that I want to 😂. Requested solar remote replacement because it wouldn’t hold a solar charge and don’t want to charge y usb because I don’t have that adaptor. Also one leg is higher than the other and can’t adjust. Or at least I don’t know how. Will ask Samsung to replace these as well. Otherwise I’m very happy with this tv and especially liked the price

Highly intuitive state of the art smart TV

Woke up this morning at 7am and saw that package was sitting outside my front door in Florida, within one day of order placement. Amazing Amazon. Opened up the package, hooked up the HDMI from my Dell desktop PC and DVD Player within minutes. Started up the setup procedure. The Samsung 43″Q60B picked up my network, the PC, all my Samsung TV Plus settings from my 75″Q80A in the living room; the DVD Player; as well as my Samsung account settings automatically as it showed up in the main menu listing. It’s as if this TV read my mind. Need I say more folks?Excellent picture quality out of the box as well as the sound. For the PC, I set the picture to Warm2. Desktop will show up automatically every time I turn the TV on. Other settings remain the same as in my 75″. This highly intuitive TV is appropriate for this day and age, but perhaps not for everyone. And thank you Amazon for the 5-installment payment method. This is a game changer for suppliers.

    Great TV

I have had this TV for a few months now and I have no major complaints. The image quality is beautiful, the size is perfect for my living room space, and it’s easy to use. A couple times the Netflix app has crashed on start up, but I fixed the issue by deleting the app and redownloading it. It’s annoying when it happens, but has only happened twice. Hopefully it doesn’t happen often. The sound quality is nice as well. I am considering buying this TV agin for my bedroom.

    Devoted Samsung Fan – DISAPPOINTED!!!!

So…I bought the 43″ QLED Q60B. Also bought the Samsung 9200S soundbar with wireless sub, and then bought their wireless rear speakers. That part is awesome, but will be a separate review.1- Despite checking answers and even asking the Samsung Specialist about Hands Free Alexa (ie. don’t press the MIC button), the 2022 version DOES NOT have this feature, which of course, after buying it, installing it 10ft up in the corner of the bedroom, and trying to make it work…. had to call Samsung directly to troubleshoot, who said it is not available after 2021. Even Bixby, which I can’t stand, is grayed out.2- Not-so-Smart. I have had a ROKU on all my other Samsung TVs because they were older. So I became accustomed to much more variety it seems. Other than the big ones, the variety is disappointing, even in the music section.3- I do not buy a TV outright only to have the manufacturer decide what I CAN’T remove. The first damn option in your “customizing” short cut bar, is SAMSUNG’S forced-on-you advertising slot, that cannot be moved out of the or removed, and I have no interest in it! There are a few others that can’t be dropped, but can be moved.4- Despite trying to follow the trend to smaller remotes, they missed the mark. People want quick access to things. Mute should ALWAYS have it’s own button, not remembering to press and hold a specific button to mute it. Your Settings access is NOT intuitive. I trying to make it easier, you somehow over-complicated it. Some items are ambiguous (maybe it’s under this one?), and I find myself searching for things and when I finally find them, the controls are often limited. It’s 2022, I just bought a quality TV from a previously adored and promoted-by-me brand, and I’m super pissed. My buddy’s LG is much better, and I’m now going to add a fricking Roku to a TV that is state of the art. And for a 43″ I could have gotten an off-name brand with awesome pic and Roku built in, for half the price!!!! Lesson Learned!Boo to Samsung on this. And don’t send me to your useless Facebook help page when you already dropped the ball!

    BEST TV EVER!!!

Excellent tv. It arrived really fast. WOW!!! Best picture, it is so LIVE! Set up was easy&fast. FYI I don’t have cable service, just internet. The remote, I confess, takes a bit to get used to, but in two days I was good using it. And I already know that, It will take a while discovering new features and no matter how much I find out, I’ll barely be scratching the surface of what one can get from this tv! Gee, there are so many features to explore. I can’t get over it.To stream all my movies I have an array of free movie sites and a ton of other sites one can subscribe to. I can also download any site if not already in the enormous list of movie channels. Samsung offers “News Channels” to keep you updated with the world daily news. But you can always download TubiTv-for free movies and free “Live News”– it wasn’t in the “apps home list”, but I downloaded it. As well as I downloaded the “BritBox” I subscribe to. WOW! Watching “Shetland”, “Vera”or “Midsomer Murders” etc… on this tv is like have yourself going for a walk in the movie set of those British countryside scene. It’s soooo live, the image pops out of the screen at you.I can also go to the internet browser, (after connecting a keyboard to this tv) and shop, research, write emails or do my fiction book writing and save it all to my email “drafts” file.Ah, you can also connect your phone to the tv and answer it when ringing if you use a wireless pair of ear pod (a Bluetooth I paid only $23+tx online, have owned it and gifted several throughout the last 3yrs), just as I use with my computer, no tv noise from lowd music or movies to the neighbors! I don’t know what else can I ask for, we’ll, I am still discovering new functions in this incredible tv! I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS TV!So happy I got it, and for a senior like me on a low SS pension, the 5pmts installments from Amazon suit my budget perfectly, in fact, it made all possible to buy this tv and other things for my new housing studio apt I recently moved to! That’s why I always come back to Amazon for all my purchase needs! Thanks once again, Amazon!

    Amazing clarity

This is the first QLED 4K that I bought and the first 65″. The picture clarity is amazing. It set up easily with my universal remote because I previously had a Samsung. I don’t need the smart features or the their apps since my service provider has most of them in their menu. This is a 2021 model at a reduced price. The only complaint is that it came across the country from an Amazon supplier and it took them ten days to get it here. My ‘old’ 55″ LED 2014 model went to another house and the really old 2008 55″ Samsung in that house went to another house. All still working.

    Nice Picture, But Some Shortcomings

I used this TV to replace a 10 year old Samsung LCD TV whose picture had deteriorated greatly (mainly brightness). This TV is night and day better when it comes to picture quality. And surprisingly, the color adjustments are all fairly good right out of the box–I’m using the Movie settings. So overall I’m happy since I’m not using the internal speakers or the Smart TV functions. Here are a few of the “shortcomings,” all of which I’d describe as minor. Overall this was a good purchase.1. There are no provided bolts for using a TV Mount.2. The remote does not have replaceable batteries, but instead recharges by either solar or USB. Given I have no intent on using the remote on a daily basis I have concerns this will last if I do need it for changing a setting 10 years from now. I’d rather just remove the batteries and put it in a drawer for future use.3. Skipping the Smart TV setup is somewhat problematic and unnecessarily difficult, but perhaps that was just due to a learning curve.4. Speaking of learning, it doesn’t come with a full printed manual, but that’s okay because the version you can download off the Internet is pretty useless. The manual that came with my 10 year old Samsung was better and shorter.5. If you set an external device, such as a Fire Cube to change the refresh rate to the material content rate the screen does go blank for probably 2 seconds, which is apparently long compared to some TVs. I don’t really notice judder, so I just leave that off.6. One of the HDMI ports and the optical port point out straight back. That interferes with my mounting bracket.7. Not certain on this device, but another recent model Samsung where I did setup the Smart TV functions there wasn’t an app for Apple+, so that means I’m required to use a browser on that device. Again, I use a Fire Cube, so not an issue on this device. On a positive note, it does offer good viewing from an angle and display properly with a Fire Cube set to HDR Always On. Apparently many TVs don’t like that setting turned on. I haven’t determined yet whether that is better to leave on. Also there is a setting for adaptive brightness, which I will believe will prove useful for watching day and night. Unfortunately the setting is not in the display settings, but instead energy settings, as if you’d use that to save a few pennies on your power bill. Finally, so far reflections do appear to be nominal compared to my prior TV, but it’s too early to tell for certain.

Great TV for the money, but watch for a pink screen

This 70-inch Samsung Tv so far (a few days) meets may expectations regarding its picture and (somehow) its sound quality. I spent considerable time on adjusting tv settings to meet my expectations and I have achieved my goal, for you can control/adjust basically all aspects of the Tv picture, motion, sound, etc. However, this TV remote/pilot is quite annoying. It has minimum options to control, and it is difficult to use in a dark room (its buttons are not lit). Also, the Tv software/program annoyingly wants you to go on the internet and purchase/join some networks/providers. For my, using the cable provider, Spectrum, it is unnecessary policy of the Samsung. In essence, every time you turn on this TV it start with the Samsung Tv Plus, with icons of all these Netfixes, Hulus, Amazons, etc, plus your provider. However, there is a way to disable this defaulted preference and start your TV with the picture of the location where you have been when turned off TV. After a two more weeks:A problem with the so called “pink screen” developed. Basically, from time to time, when my TV was turned on it displayed just a pink screen with no picture nor any sound. I contacted a Samsung support which is overseas, of course. They made a record of my TV issue and accepted my photo of its pink screen. They said, it was due to the weak or disrupted/corrupted video signal, HDMI connection between the source and TV. However, upon plugin it in and out and in again, apparently, my HDMI cable was not causing this problem. After researching the internet I decided to call my Spectrum cable provider. To my surprise, the technician was quite familiar with this issue, and remotely tuned my cable box (HDR). Upon his tuning, my TV screen turned to have WAY better picture quality (!) and he promised me that the pink screen will never show on my screen again. So, now I have a way better picture, practically ideal quality. Also, I keep my fingers crossed that this pink screen will never pay me a visit. Also, I wonder, why this TV was not packed at its factory with a decent manual brochure clearly explaining all these issues to the clients.

    Happy with it

This TV is feature packed. Has a good load speed for the built in apps. Better then expected sound quality from the built in speakers. It has a nice detailed picture. The solar powered remote has been great so far even though we hardly ever see the sunshine here in my state. I use the TV mostly with a Fire TV cube and it integrates very well. No need to program the remote to work with the Fire TV, it just set itself up. I have the TV set up with the Xbox Ultimate game pass free trial paired with a Logitech wireless controller. The set up works pretty well, though the controller connection can be a bit fussy. I do not know if that is due to the TV or the controller itself however. Gameplay has been good with decent load times considering it is cloud gaming. Overall I’d say this is a darn nice TV. 🙂

Want To Waste Your Time? Buy A Samsung!

Bought this TV on Black Friday, it arrived Monday 11/28. Set it up, no picture. Did troubleshooting, contacted help online, did more troubleshooting, they said I would need a technician to come out from Samsung Care. Appointment set for Friday 12/2.Upon arriving, technician told me it was probably going to be 1 of 3 possible issues, but he was only provided with 2 of those 3 solutions at his disposal. He said, “Let’s hope it is one of these 2 things.” It wasn’t. It was the third thing. He didn’t have the part needed. So, I made another appointment with him. He booked me for Tuesday 12/6. On Monday afternoon, I asked about my appointment, which I was then told it wasn’t Tuesday anymore, it was Thursday 12/8. On the morning of Thursday 12/8, I was notified that the part had not yet arrived, so my appointment was being cancelled and would need to later be rescheduled. That was 3 TIMES I made arrangements to not be working, to be home for WHATEVER time they’re going to come over (don’t set times beforehand) and they couldn’t fix the issue. At the writing of this review, I am awaiting my 4th appointment which should fix the issue. They informed me they will have the part this time. They had no answer as to why they made appointments beforehand without having the part available and had no explanation as to why they would do that and then cancel.I was informed by Samsung Care, that Samsung is taking a very long time to deliver the part needed. Apparently, there might be some backlog, lots of orders for this part. Meaning, a lot of TV’s are going out with the same issue that I had and all need the part replaced.I cannot even review the picture quality because 2 1/2 weeks later, and 3 appointments later, I still have not gotten my TV working due to a combination of Samsung delivering me a fraction of a TV, their slowness in delivering a part to Samsung Care, and Samsung Care setting up appointments and not even having everything they need for an appointment. In all honesty, when the TV is working, I am sure it will look good. I don’t think it’s blowing any of the competition out of the water. I am sure if you get any other brand of Smart TV, it will look just as good. They’ll all be about the same in terms of quality. So, do yourself a favor, don’t waste your time with Samsung sending broken TV’s and with Samsung Care who does not Care if they make you take 4 days off of work and reschedule your life around appointments in which they cancel, reschedule, or just are not able to complete the task. This is by far, the WORST service I’ve ever received. This is probably one of the WORST products I’ve bought in recent memory. It’s a brand new TV, it should show up working, or it should be fixed at a FIRST appointment. Not a FOURTH (That is, if the fourth one actually does the trick.)Seriously, stays away from Samsung. There are no positives here that you can’t get from another brand. And it’s too much of a gamble buying these fractional products.I will say, technicians and customer service at Samsung Care are nice… it’s just that their company is horrendous.

    Nice TV but….

The amount of times we have to unplug the tv to reset it is more than it should be for a tv of this caliber. It constantly drops connection (often in the middle of streaming live sports), while my other (much cheaper) TVs don’t. The picture quality is great and I appreciate Samsung’s Smart user interface, but if I didn’t have to unplug it every week, I’d give it 5 stars.

    Annoying remote

The tv is fine for the price. You can tell it’s a budget option, but it works for our family. The remote is so annoyingly finicky that I took off two stars. You have to perform couch Pilates just to get the remote to find the eye on the tv, and believe me: it has to be an exact aim, and even then there’s often a delay. I truly hate it! I have remotes that work around the corner and in my pocket. Why is this Samsung remote so technically deficient? It’s cool that the remote is rechargeable, I guess, but the solar charging feature is useless in my house, for various reasons. That’s not Samsung’s fault, but the remote puts me in a bad mood so I thought I would complain about that.Customer service deserves a slashed star. When our dog bit the already dumb remote, it seemed broken, we called and were promised a replacement, but that it would take 10 weeks for a then brand new tv! That remote never came. It was never shipped. They just forgot. To be clear, this is Samsung CS, to which we were directed by Amazon. Luckily, I was able to fix the remote myself. It works just as crappily as it did before the dog bit it.
