    Not so smart….

There are 3 issues. (1) This “smart” TV gets confused so easily. I selected Alexa for the voice commands because I have Amazon Fire TV. I use a digital antenna and I also subscribe to a number of streaming services. A few of those services are available through Samsung but not all so I do have to switch to Fire TV for those. When I am using the digital antenna and request a channel number, I can see that it heard the command but it usually does nothing (once in a while it works). I have to manually enter the channel to change to. It also often gets confused when I try to select an app to stream from. I have a smaller older Samsung smart TV and voice commands work incredibly well switching from antenna to Samsung Plus to apps installed through Samsung and Fire TV apps. I am so disappointed in this particular TV.(2) The picture is always too dark. I have tried everything but it is simply not bright enough.(3) The TV speaker sound has far too much bass and I cannot adjust it. At the time I purchased this TV, there was no sound bar available; now the cost for that has skyrocketed and I am not about to buy one.

    Great Alexa Enabled TV

Longtime Samsung TV customer. Needed a TV to replace a 10 year old Sony but had to fit inside an armour for our bedroom. We use with TiVo and no longer need the Roku for the streamer apps. TV is thin, stylish and has much better sound than I expected. I use Samsung SmartThings and now my wife can turn on/off the TV from anywhere in the house (without having to go upstairs to our bedroom) to shut off. Picture is decent from the front. Angled off center viewing is not the best but good enough to get caught up on the news if not lying in bed straight on.

    An honest review

Well, an upgrade for me to QLED. I use this as a PC monitor (with the brightness turned way down), for my 4K Blu ray player and use a digital antenna. No cable for me.The picture is good. I notice just the SLIGHTEST bit of pixelization when I’m up close. This MAY fade as the screen breaks in. (Samsung claims no break in period)Colors are really good with HDR, 4K Discs look FANTASTIC.The form factor is super slim. keep in mind that there is barely any bezel around the edge so there is almost nothing to grab onto to move the screen. If you have an extendable wall mount you WILL get smudges when you grab it.The feet are nicely shaped and slim, and the adjustable height is nice. However, the feet are not tightly locked into the screen, and there is a good amount of front to back wobble when sitting on a surface that moves slightly. I have this on a desk with a mic boom attached, and whenever I move the mic, the tv rocks back and forth. I REALLY wish manufacturers would put more effort into the feet of these expensive sets. The adjustable legs only do 2 positions, and should really be attached more firmly. The remote is super sexy slim and minimalist. The software and GUI is where this set really gets annoying. It takes NINE button presses to get to the bloody SETTINGS screen. This is BEYOND stupid and frustrating!Want to switch to game mode? FOURTEEN button presses. So obnoxious I want to speak to the interface designer.Anyway, that’s first impressions. Will add review of software functions once I feel like pressing the remote buttons 8406 times.

Fantastic team at video and audio center.

I got the best tv on the market. It wasA 2021 model; but I decided to upgrade to a2023 Samsung model. The owner was gracious about the return and helped me with the return. These are the nicest and fairest people to deal with. I highly recommend them for all of your tv needs.

“Black screen of death” after 4 months of use – unable to be repaired

For the first 4 months of use, this TV was great. The smart features were excellent, it paired nicely with the sound bar, and with the Samsung flat mount, it looked great on the wall in our living room. However, the TV recently had the “black screen of death” that many Samsung owners have encountered. The screen suddenly had no picture, but the sound continued as if everything was operating normally. Some owners have been able to fix this by unplugging the TV for a time and letting it fully “reset”, but this did not correct my issue. I have called Samsung to have this repaired under warranty, and will update my review/rating with the results of the repair… but this is definitely not what I expected from Samsung for a brand new television.Update #1:Samsung Care+ attempted repairs, twice. The first time, they attempted to change out the two main circuit boards, reseat all internal cabling, and eventually decided to replace the entire screen assembly. When they opened the replacement screen box, they found that it was damaged and had to reschedule with new parts. The second attempt, they again replaced all major components, including the screen, and were still unable to repair the television. Whatever is broken was not in those components. The company completing the repair for Samsung did not follow up when they said they would. I called them, and they told me I needed to call Samsung tech support, as it was “back with them”.Samsung tech support was less than helpful, and took several attempts to get them to understand what had been done. Samsung claims the tech hasn’t filed a report with them in order to get a replacement, and the tech company claims they have. It has been frustrating beyond belief in dealing with these companies. At this point, I’m 3 1/2 weeks into trying to get this TV replaced, and I am seriously questioning if I will be purchasing Samsung TV’s going forward. I will continue to update my review as the matter is (hopefully) resolved.Update #2:After going back and forth between the local Samsung repair company and Samsung, I finally was able to get this escalated to case management, and I uploaded the “missing” work order that the local techs seemed unable to provide to Samsung. Case Management was able to process a full refund credit to be applied on Samsung’s website. The original TV will be picked up and returned before the credit is “active”. However, I will not be using the credit for this same model of TV – I’m leery that the Q60A model line may all suffer from this issue, and will try a different 65″ model.I’m still leaving this as a 1 star review – the quality issues with this TV, as well as the “back and forth” between Samsung and their local tech support provider, has made this an extremely unpleasant experience and shows the poor quality of this TV model.

    Set up

Received and had professionally mounted.Remote won’t work and it conveniently comes without a charger cable. There is a solar cell charger attached on back of remote but that is not working. Manual start….good luck finding the “on/off” button….watch videos online and then get a flashlight and magnifying glass….good luck. Found something underneath that turned a tiny red light on. Still can’t see it or feel it but the light came on.….still nothing. The tiny red light comes on but that’s it. Still can’t turn on. Now I will spend more money hiring someone that has the patience and knowledge to turn this thing on. SAMSUNG…two thoughts:- the on/ off button should be visible and identifiable. Maybe a blaze orange sticker that says “power”- if I am going to pay $800 for a tv, I will have no problem paying an additional $15 for the cable necessary to charge the remoteAbsolutely baffled.

Great video resolution and audio; BAD “Tizen” OS for streaming

The good: Small screen 32″ 4K resolution TV, with SUPERB AUDIO! Current market very hard to find small screen size 4K TVs, especially with decent audio output. The VERY bad: Uses Samsung Tizen OS (operating system), NOT Android OS. Means you are LIMITED to streaming apps provided by Samsung. Means you can’t install .APK sideload apps. Took forever to figure this out, as most web searches give info on how to sideload apps on Samsung “smart TVs”, no explanation that Tizen smart TVs are different than all other Samsung Android smart TVs. This would have been a deal breaker if I had known before purchasing this TV, as there are a number of apps I use, including NYRA horse racing app, not available via the LIMITED Samsung app library of 20 or so apps offered. REALLY BAD Samsung decision to use “TIZEN” OS, to save $ I assume! If you want to use streaming apps primarily without need for HDMI source, I recommend you AVOID!

Samsung makes the best middle range televisions

Once again a great Samsung television. Excellent image and minimal physical design. Replacing a 2017 Samsung smart TV (which still works great just doesn’t have direct access to certain streaming channels like MHZ), the improvements are measurable.Like all new TVs, you might find the factory defaults a little over the top as I do. First thing was to stop motion smoothing so classic movies don’t look like 1950’s TV shows. Turned off dynamic contrast and was good to go.The automatic integration with other manufacturers’ equipment was a surprise when the TV recognized the cable box, the sound bar and the BluRay player during setup without my input. If the provided remote, was a little more complex it could easily have been a universal remote for all the equipment including the cable box.The Smart TV menu is a bit more cluttered now and when I tried to customize it, it wouldn’t take unlike the 2017 model. Don’t know why, maybe I’m missing a step. But I have all the streaming channels I want now. YouTube integration is simple. Linking to my iPhone, iPad and computer was simple. My older iPadPro has connection dropouts but my newer phone and computer is flawless over WiFi.Worth the extra dollars over cheaper flatscreens.

Fantastic picture quality – horrific sound quality

Right out of the box and on the wall, I loved the picture quality. Sharp, beautiful colors, deep blacks. A real joy to watch programs on. But, to cut to the chase, the sound quality from the built-in speakers is absolutely horrific. There’s almost no bass – it’s all very tinny treble, and no amount of adjusting the settings can pump up the bass so that there’s a natural sound coming out of those speakers. Yes, I’ve tried everything recommended in online Samsung forums, as this issue seems to be common, but nothing works. Obviously, I could bypass this issue with a sound bar, but there’s no place for one in the small space that we have for this TV in our kitchen. I do use Apple HomePod Minis for when I switch to Apple tv streaming, and the sound out of those is great (and they’re easy to place on the kitchen counter below the TV), but they can’t be used with regular (non-streamed) television viewing. This is such a shame, as our old LG TV had superb sound from its speakers – deep, rich bass and easy to use settings. I’ve contacted Samsung about this issue, but received standard replies about how to use the settings to change the sound output. Yes, I know how to do that, even though the controls aren’t very intuitive and buried somewhat deep. I’m always amazed at a company that does something so right – like the wonderful picture quality of this TV – and then just falls so short in other areas. Anyway, if you get this TV, you take your chances. I give the picture quality high marks, and the speakers a mere 1 star, so the whole thing averages out to 3 stars. I’m so disappointed.

    Issues out of the box

Well could not get Netflix & Amazon to work. Firmware was up to date, I checked. Had to call tech support, remove power, wait a minute then retry then it worked. You would not expect glitches out of the box, not a good first impression. I bought as was the only one I could find this small. Use occassionally in bedroom with stand mount I bought where? Yes Amazon. Had over 3 months so far no more issues. Oh & the great surprise!! It supports bluetooth headset (built in), a must in the bedroom.

    Nice TV.

I’ve read a lot of reviews and I have to agree with the ones that mention the sound and the remote as the not great parts of this TV.The sound: it’s ok and plenty loud but doesn’t sound as good or as “full” as my old 52” Samsung LCD that I bought in 09. It sounds a little more digital or tinny but it’s not as bad as some reviews say. Not sure how good of speakers they can squeeze into a TV that is an inch thick so if you want better sound I say look for a sound bar.Remote: since it doesn’t take batteries I suggest you take it out of the box and charge it while you are getting the TV up on the wall or set up wherever you are putting it so it has juice. Find a youtube video on the remote because the instructions that are in the box are garbage. Once you pair the remote with the TV, learn what and how the buttons work it’s not that bad but it would be so much easier if it was already paired with the TV. I found that my old Samsung TV remote with all the buttons worked perfectly with it so if you have one and want to use it it works just fine.

A multitude of issues – And this is NOT for gaming

Right off the bat, the whole “scan QR to setup” thing is FUBAR. That gave me pause from the very start. I went ahead and set up manually and it wasn’t too hard. I honestly don’t want or need all that “smart” stuff on my TV. I use a desktop PC as my media base. I have owned other TVs in the past. So this isn’t something I’m new at. Here is a list of some of my issues with this TV:I could not get the blue tooth option to work properly. It was either “both TV and bluetooth” or TV only. My BOSE blue tooth speaker relies 100% on the casting device for volume, and the TV wouldn’t control the blue tooth volume. So that was a no-go.The sound from the actual TV is probably the worst I have ever heard. People’s reviews said “low volume.” I’m saying the sound and quality is worse than TVs from the 70s. Low quality. Thin. Unbelievably bad. Samsung you should be ashamed. As for the reviews stating the dark state of the screen, that part is really weird. One minute it looks good. The next minute DARK AF! Forget about gaming on this TV. You get gorgeous one minute – near blackness the next. And as for the “game mode” or whatever, I guess that’s console only? Typical of most “smart” TVs, this model is stupid dumb. If there is some hidden game mode, it isn’t easy to find, it is intuitive. It isn’t smart. So, yes, I also encountered the weird dark, dank, dingy, blackness of this TV. It isn’t a fluke. It’s part of the “smartness” of the engineering. No thank you.Screen tearing. Bad. Bad. Bad. Even old games at 1080p tear the screen. This TV WAS NOT intended for gaming, regardless of what Samsung says. They lied. They gonna get this one back. DO NOT buy this TV for any sort of gaming. DO NOT!As for picture quality I guess it’s okay. It really is bright. HOWEVER! The screen color/hue differs from one side of the screen to the next. It isn’t even, not even when sitting directly in front, dead center. Maybe I got a bad TV. Also, the side edges are noticeably darker than the center. And again, that’s sitting dead center in front of the TV.I couldn’t create a return fast enough for this one. I am terrible disappointed. I’ve paid less money TEN YEARS AGO for a better TV – with a larger screen. This model is a reject and I am 100% sorry I ordered it. My bottom line: DO NOT BUY!I’m going to Walmart. No more buying jacked up TVs online and shipping them back. No more!

The sound sucks or I’m getting that old.

The sound is for a four star review. It’s funny you never know you need a new TV until you walk into someone else’s living room. Then you think, wow is my TV really that old? I guess mine was, the picture on this is really good. I am no tech guru so that what you get “It’s really great”. Oh it has enough connectors too.

    Superb Picture Quality

I bought this 32 inch QLED TV to replace an older Samsung TV in my guestroom based on the mainly positive reviews from other Amazon users. The picture quality, after going through the entire menu of available “expert” adjustments, is indeed outstanding. At 100% sharpness, for example, every single hair on a person’s head and every single blemish is discernible, but that is not necessarily the ideal adjustment, of course. Similarly, the other optional picture settings all produce the expected results … a superb, pixel-free image. Sound is a different matter. After pairing this TV with a Samsung soundbar, and having been unable to control the sound volume with the soundbar remote, I tried the remote provided with this TV. It, too, would not adjust the sound volume. I finally solved the problem by using a universal remote from an older Samsung TV. The sound produced by this TV (without the soundbar) is fair, but probably still better than most I’ve had experience with; with the soundbar it’s good. If anyone has been able to adjust sound volume with the remote provided with this TV, please comment. Thanks!

    Got scammed

I was setting up my tv and there was a number to call. The person on the line had me go through all these steps then told my I had a fraudulent account from Amazon but that he could fix it. Well 3 hours later and I gave him access to my accounts and I ended up with over 1000.00 dollars on some bogus gift card. Beware even when you think its safe to call a number from Samsung on your tv it’s not!!! But I love the television

    FAIURE in human engineering

Dear Samsung,The remote control for this TV is A COMPLETE FAILURE IN HUMAN ENGINEERING. There are too few useful buttons and too many MYSTERY FUNCTIONS, icons, and inexplicable actions, making this “smart” remote very user unfriendly. I handed the remote to 5 people and asked them to do something simple like “change the channel”. They had to futz and futz. My guests don’t want to wade thru a bunch of mysterious menus to do something simple. You can’t simply undo incorrect actions because the remote simultaneously controls our Direct TV box and and you almost never get the expected result.I can only imagine what would happen if a hotel tried to use this remote in their rooms. They’d be flooded with calls. This remote just has too few buttons to be useful, and too many things are buried in menus that require lots of button presses and navigating to accomplish. But Netflix and Amazon and Samsung TV must’ve paid to have their buttons on the remote, GOOD GRIEF.Technology should make things simpler, not more difficult. By trying to automate too much, you’re failing to take into account what happens when button presses do the unexpected and you can’t easily reverse course. It should be obvious how to work the remote control. If I’ve got to open a manual, it’s a failure in human engineering. It shouldn’t require a research project to figure out simple things like changing channels or inputs or picture setup. Give us a button. Don’t make me wade thru 400 menus just so you can make a remote with fewer buttons. If I have to spend time online and in forums to figure out how to do something simple it is badly designed BY DEFINITION.The setup process was hardly flawless, either. Numerous times the app would hang and give me a whirlygig forever. And I’ve got a Galaxy Note 8, so Samsung can’t blame the phone. If you’re going to automate the setup process, it should frankly be flawless and glitch free. When I get to a point in the setup where the “continue” button is grayed out, it leaves me no choice but to start over in frustration. The picture on this TV looks great, but I will NOT be buying more Samsung TVs. I want to watch the TV, not make a career out of how to control it. This remote would be useless to my guests without me giving them a full tutorial. On top of that, I don’t want to be forced to do multiple button presses and navigating around the screen to do something simple like changing the TV input source. On my older Samsung, one button press is all that was required. Now you’ve got to launch the Smart Hub, Navigate to the Source icon, Navigate to the specific input you want and then hit enter. Lots of button presses. I will be returning this one shortly.BTW, I won’t buy a car without a mechanical fan button on the dash, either. I want to reach for a knob without taking my eyes off the road. If I’ve got to bring up a climate screen, find and select the fan icon, then poke at the up and down buttons on-screen, especially in bright sunlight, it is badly designed, IMHO.

Perfect size, great picture. Amazon delivery horrible

We wanted to wall mount a tv but didnt want to overwhelm the space & make the room look like it was all tv. 60” was the perfect size but hard to find! Tons of 55” and 60” (& bigger) but not what we needed. Given the limited choices, this was by far the best & we’re very happy with it. Frankly was worried about buying from this vendor (didn’t seem like an electronics driven company) but item arrived quickly, is new, and works well. Amazon driver on the other hand, left this giant item, clearly marked as a smart tv, just leaning against our garage – didn’t even bring to the porch or ring our bell to let us know. If we hadn’t been home, it could’ve been out for hours, and prob nabbed by someone or had damage from being in the cold for an extended period.

    Not for Me

Remote was next to impossible to figure out for volume and channel change. I’m not normally technology stupid, but apparently my IQ was non existent with this piece. I finally broke down and went to You Tube to get instructions only to find many others with the same issue after viewing them! I finally figured it out but I was so angry and stressed by then that I no longer was excited to have this tv. Also, there’s something about the show scenes that look abnormal. They all look like the old soap operas…like the camera is right on top of them in a little room. It just looks abnormal, at least compared to what I’m used to viewing. I thought it was just me but both my daughters confirmed it. One more thing…you’d think that with technology evolved enough to make a smaller frame for the screen size that a larger screen would be the next step. The space that houses my tv would easily hold up to a 40” frame but this tv jumps from 32” to 42”, nothing in between. This tv looks so very small in its space, more so than it’s predecessor, that the screen actually looks smaller. I guess it’s just as well since I’m returning it. Now on to research mode again!

Poor back-light quality, comes through on regular use.

I expected my dream TV, 75″ QLED. But the uneven backlighting behind the screen is horrible. So uneven it comes through into the picture. Notice how I don’t say dark screen, doesn’t need to be dark to see this. I’ve tried leveling out any tilt, tried all the settings, did everything I can find or think of. It’s horrible. On a bright scene, you don’t see this. If you like shows w darker backgrounds, you are going to see the uneven backlights come through in the movie. Can you get used to it? IDK, maybe. But I just get more aggravated over time. For that price, you shouldn’t need to ‘get used to it’.I have leveled out any vertical tilt, used the proper screws, proper torque levels; everything. If I showed you a bright and lively 4K test image, it would be beautiful. If you see the LG 4k demo image on this TV -uses solid black background- I don’t think anyone you would choose this one. If you watch anything with a dark setting, the poor backlighting shows through. It’s deeply disappointing. I assure you, it’s not a ‘setting’. I’ve got it doing the best it can. In fact, the economy setting creates an almost unusable picture.Don’t buy this unless you get to see what it looks like in a setting that’s lit like your tv viewing area. If you only get to see this displaying a bright picture in a bright lit-up room, you have no idea what you are going to see in a late evening viewing. Unless of course you like watching in a brightly lit-up room, you are in for a very unpleasant surprise. These are real pics from my Samsung galaxy 21 phone. It really is this bad.IDK if it’s overpriced, but I do know I could have done much better for that money.I give it 3 start because it looks good during the daytime, the electronics are excellent, menus are fast.

Still not sure I’m keeping the 43” Q60A for reasons I’ll explain but while I have it, here are my impressions.Sound is HORRIBLE. Near total garbage. I know why – the ludicrous goal of ever thinner units takes out the space for the electronics to drive decent speakers. Plus, knowing most people will be unhappy w/ the crappy sound, consumers will buy a sound bar. Because of how awful the sound is, Samsung is the last company whose sound bar i would consider buying. They should be ashamed. The positive aspect is the picture quality. It’s very good. All I need anyway. Menu navigation is fairly easy and intuitive. Navigating the menus is done by the remote (or I guess could be done by phone) and the remote is pretty good for that part. But besides that, the remote is nothing to be proud of. Weirdly, uncomfortably small and not backlit. Unnecessarily “sleek”. Remotes are tactile devices, the buttons on this are far too flush to the surface. All in all, because picture is most important to me, I’m reasonably happy w/ it but there are other negatives that make it impossible for me to recommend to anyone.Have a sound bar on the way and it that has issues, I’m returning all of it.

TV hardware can’t handle their pre-loaded bloatware

I bought this TV at the same time as a Sony Bravia 4k 43″ and a HiSense 1080p 32″. The Samsung lags the most out of all three – menu lag, switching between apps, etc. I have used Samsung support twice to reset it, and it works fine until I start adding other apps or logging into my existing apps. And there is so much bloatware pre-installed that can’t be removed, as well as all sorts of niche Samsung or Alexa or Bixby crap, and none of it works. It’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to connect this thing to any other device. Perhaps if I had an Amazon Alexa household already set up, it would be fine, but this TV barely wants to talk to my Android mobile (which is a SAMSUNG) or my PC. Even when you stream PC to TV, it won’t go completely fullscreen and has this annoying unmovable icon in the lower right hand side. And there’s a noticeable delay, even though everything is wired for Ethernet instead of wireless.I would say quality is good, but the 4k Sony looks considerably better. And the menu on the Sony is intuitive and seamless – no lag, no BS bloatware. The HiSense also has menu lag because of their terrible bloatware but was so cheap it doesn’t matter, and yet at $80 it is still faster than this Samsung.

Awesome colors! Especially the blacks, being actually black. Random shut off.

I wanted an OLED monitor, but it was twice the price as this. So, I went ahead and got this one as I have a Samsung QLED TV in the living room with amazing colors, and this one is almost as good. Although, it had the brightness lower by default on this TV.These SmartTVs are getting too smart. It’s almost a full fledged PC, and weighs a bit more than I expected.I love the Legs on the TV. Very stable. The only drawback, like all tvs seem to have, you can’t wake them from sleep by PC. So, I have to keep my remote nearby so I can tuen it on easily.Oh, and the remote not only has rechargeable batteries (Type-C), but it has a solar panel on the back side to charge it by light. Well, maybe by light bulb if you have an LED super bright one. Or set it on the window sill to charge. The TV has been having randomly shutting off while using the computer. I don’t even use the Smart TV functionality. It does it just from using the TV as a monitor.

    Beautiful TV

This Samsung TV is really nice. We replaced a smaller set after getting rid of a cabinet that restricted the size. The smart features have taken some time to get used to. I’m not too excited about the Samsung TV channels that come up when you are switching between smart features and cable but that may just be me. If I didn’t have cable in my HOA prepaid I might use the Samsung TV features. I would like it, if TV manufactures could come up with a way to search without typing in the letters on the screen. The Alexa Voice search works for some of that and I do use that more and more. I’m not sure why some of the other Apps were not all ready built in but they are relatively easy to download and add. I have an older Samsung smart TV. Samsung has worked hard to improve the Smart hub.I wasn’t to sure about the remote, but quickly got used to it. I wish I could have made my Meadiacom remote work with this remote also but was not able to. I still need two different remotes. The solar feature is really cool. NO more batteries to replace in the remote.

    Really happy with this television

I have this television set up in my travel trailer, and it’s perfect for it. It would probably also make a great bedroom television. I’m still getting used to the voice remote. It doesn’t want to recognize when I name any of the Samsung smart channels, and instead thinks I’m trying to go to a cable or satellite channel, neither of which the travel trailer has. The picture quality is excellent. Others have commented about the sound, but it actually has better sound quality than similar televisions I have owned by other companies. I still got a sound bar for it, because I wanted even better sound quality, but even before I received my sound bar I enjoyed rich sound through the television. I have the 32 inch version, which is the biggest the travel trailer can really handle in the television space.

    Good

First one Amazon shipped had been walked on (boot prints visible) and had a hole in front of box that went right through to scratch the screen. Replacement arrived fine. We have an open layout with living room, kitchen, and dining room, and got a Sonos sound bar to go with tv. Definitely was necessary. Tv picture quality has that soap opera effect to it, though I just learned that can be turned off. Family agrees that the Apple TV remote and design are way more user friendly than what Samsung has going on. In some apps, the pause/play button doesn’t do anything at all, and instead you have to use the center button to play… Also somewhat difficult navigating between apps, and they can be slow to open, at times encountering errors. Never have issues with the Apple TV on our 39” on same network on the other hand. I’m sure we’ll get used to it. One great thing is the solar charging remote.

    Awesome TV

Love it, honestly no cons! On my other samsung tv which was a 65″ LED, i had a firestick and need multiple remotes. This TV I was able to do away with the firestick do to the incredible smart features of it and im a techie. Also it detected my yamaha sound bar and made it so the TV remote controls the sound bar as well. The picture quality is fantastic. I have it set to detect what input I’m using and it adjusts the picture on the fly, changes settings automatically for my Xbox Series X, cable box and apps. Of course you have to set up what you want for each once then it’s auto. Sound isn’t bad either but I prefer my yamaha sound bar. My old TV I had to change each input manually for my sound bar, this TV does it on its own. You will be very happy with this TV. I upgraded from a 65″ Samsung LED. The QLED is worth it!

Allow update time, pre-connect all feeds

Bought this to replace an older master bedroom smart TV that would not support Paramount+. This new TV does. Recommend charging the remote ahead of time, especially if solar charging via light sorce. When physically setting up this TV, connect everything that will be used (HDMI, Cat5/6, etc) as upon turn-on, it checks for all connections thus avoiding any hassle adding things afterwards. Initial update may take about an hour. Saw no note ref removing the protective plastic strip, but do so. Was concerned from earlier comments ref the sound: it is okay for a bedroom but music lovers probably need a sound bar or at least better external speakers. As per earlier comments, the video will probably need some adjustments, and does appear faded when viewed at too much of an angle. Remote is powerful but takes getting used to, for those having used remotes with numerical buttons for many years. Overall a very good TV at a decent price.

    More hassle than it’s worth

I bought this for myself to upgrade my current TV. Never got past the screen in the picture. This one is going back. Thank you Samsung for wasting my time.UPDATE:Props to Amazon for a quick replacement. The first TV was definitely a dud. I didn’t have the same problem with the replacement but – after about 4 hours of troubleshooting – I have given up on making this TV work for me. First, I never could get the YouTube TV app on the tool bar. It was downloaded and accessible through a lengthy series of button pushing, but even then I could not access the channel guide. Within the app I could only scroll up and down, individually checking every channel. To see the guide I had to exit the app and re-enter (the beginning screen is the channel guide). All of that was over wifi so I tried with HDMI, running through Apple TV (which I had been doing previously). That fixed the guide problem but shrunk the picture down to just 1/4 of the screen. I played with the settings for an hour, reset everything and started over, and then gave up.I am giving it 3 stars because it did have a nice picture. Unfortunately its too fancy in ways that should be simple. If you are planning on using it for cable or dish it might be a good TV. If you plan on using YouTube TV or any other apps that are not pre-loaded, I would look elsewhere.

Worst TV I’ve Ever Owned – Regrettable Purchase

I thought Samsung would be making millions of these TV’s and would have their act together on it. I thought that a TV like this would be at least halfway decent. I thought it would be reliable. I was wrong. Very, very wrong.I bought this TV for our bedroom and we’ve had it for three months. It has been a disappointment since day one. It started off with a problem with the brightness. When first turned on, it is sometimes super bright (washed out). We simply turn it off and turn it on again and it seems to be fine. That is annoying but we kept the TV anyhow. Then it started having no sound at start up. The only fix we’ve found so far is to unplug the TV and plug it back in again. Other times, the TV will power up and the volume will be loud and the remote will not lower it. When this happens, it takes about ten seconds for the TV to finally show the volume control graphic. It seems like it has to load that software every time it is turned on and sometimes that software lags. But again, sometimes it has no sound at all and the only way to fix it is to unplug the TV. And when the speakers do work, some shows – like sitcoms – sound distant and muffled.I’ve tried various settings and I’ve updated the TV’s software more than once by WIFI. Nothing has helped. This TV is just plain garbage. So whenever we prepare to turn off the TV, we first have to turn down the volume. And when we turn the TV on, we have to keep our fingers crossed that the screen won’t be washed out or that the volume will be inoperable. For the last 25 years, we have had only Sony TV’s which were always rock-solid and sounded great. I regret switching to Samsung and I should have stuck with what worked. I’m so glad I didn’t buy this TV for a relative who is bed-ridden because it would be useless. Most nights, either I or my spouse have to get out of bed to reset the whole TV before we can watch anything. Life used to be so simple… push the power button on the remote and enjoy the TV. With this Samsung TV, most evenings begin with frustration and regret.Update: 3/20/22Amazon agreed to replace the TV with an identical unit. Not surprisingly, the replacement has similar problems. Now, in order to watch TV each night, we have to turn it on and then get up, go to the back of the TV, unplug the HDMI cable, plug in back in again, and wait about 2 minutes for the TV to start working. I’m selling this unit on Craigslist now. What a waste of money.

    I love this TV

I love this TV. The picture quality is outstanding. The blacks are black and the contrast is excellent. The TV apparently has all kinds of intelligence designed to make the picture excellent. I don’t really care how it fits it, but it is excellent. I issued the TV with the Polk Audio S4 sounds bar and subwoofer and it’s phenomenal. Dolby Atmos is passed through on the eArc HDMI from my Roku Ultra on another HDMI on the TV to the S4 sound bar. The result is very impressive video and audio. The Smart features of the TV are not as intuitive as I would like but they function well enough. I have not used the TV for gaming.

    Best bedroom, smart TV ever👍

This is a fantastic television. It’s a smart TV. I find the sound to be fantastic. I bought the 32 inch because it was the distance from the bed to the TV and it’s perfect. The picture is great. It easily connects with other speakers in the room when I want the sound next to me. The color is wonderful and be a smart TV, it does everything I need to do. The quality of the TV is reflected in the price. It might be a little pricier than other TVs the size, but I find it to be well worth the money. A great investment that I feel will last for years.

    An Honest Review

Where to begin? After spending several weeks researching options to upgrade our old 42″ Vizio (model E422VLE) I decided on the Q60A 55″ and was very excited to surprise my wife with the upgrade. To keep things neat and tidy, let’s break it down.Delivery:Amazon did a great job here. I scheduled it for the earliest available slot (6:30 AM to 9:30 AM) it arrived right around 6:45 AM. Box was in perfect condition, and the delivery driver helped carry the unit into the house.Unboxing:Samsung really thought this through as well. After cutting the straps, you can open the top of the box for the accessories, and then simply slide off the main/upper portion of the box to get to the television. Instructions were clear and easy to read, and the feet easy to install and adjust without tools.Design:The overall design of this TV is fantastic. I honestly like it more than many higher end options. The top and side bezels are not only nice and thin, but also a nice matte finish. So you don’t have to worry about any strange glare or reflections along the borders (my biggest gripe with the Vizio, which had monstrous, glossy bezels). The offset logo is also a nice touch in reducing potential distractions, and it has a downward firing red light when powered off, which shouldn’t cause any sleeping issues if this unit is in a bedroom. Oh, and thin! This TV is beautifully thin.As a side note: ATTENTIONAL ALL INDUSTRIAL DESIGNERS! Please, PLEASE stop using gloss black on the front-facing surround of screens. It makes no sense and is needlessly distracting. Yes, I know it’s supposed to look and feel “premium”, but it just attracts glare, dust, and toddler fingerprints. Have some fun with matte finishes, different tones of gray, frosted glass or other materials, whatever. But no more gloss on the front, OK?Setup:I didn’t have a Samsung account yet, so I went ahead and got that going. The authentication text messages seemed to have quite a bit of lag, but once the account was authorized it was pretty simple to to get the TV setup with my cell phone and the SmartThings app.Interface:In general, I liked the interface. It was simple, easy to navigate, and nice and snappy. No lag whatsoever. I did notice some ads for service like HBO Max but this doesn’t really bother me since the vast majority of our TV use is through a 4K Apple TV.Picture:Wow. Just… WOW! Coming from the 1080p Vizio (which was honestly a fine TV for being 10 years old, just not 4K) I’m sure most 4K TV’s would have been impressive. Even so, I feel like I can honestly say the straight-out-of-the-box picture was gorgeous. I didn’t fiddle with any picture settings. The colors popped without being overly saturated, and the blacks felt plenty dark. All in all it just looked great. I did notice there was some small, lightly darker spots in both lower corners, and when looking again at the display units at Best Buy noticed it was on their unit as well. It’s not terrible, and on any movies with even minimal letterboxing (like Luca) you won’t even notice it. But on bright backgrounds without a lot of detail it may distract a bit.Sound:Sadly, the sound is where things really started falling apart. I’d read some reviews that the sound was like “a cell phone in the 90’s” and thought to myself there’s no way that could be true. And while it isn’t quite that bad, in “Normal” mode (the default setting) it certainly sounded severely week and hollow. To the point I couldn’t imagine trying to ever listen to anything in that mode. The middle option, “Adaptive” was sufficient, though the bass still felt lacking. The new iMac – which is significantly smaller and thinner – has significantly more bass and much, much better audio quality than the Q60A, which is disappointing. But it gets worse…When using a 4K Apple TV the audio randomly, and frequently cuts out. Sometimes when the next show in a series started to stream, sometimes in the middle of a movie. Stranger still was that the sound in general still worked – if you pushed the back button to browse again you’d hear the navigation effects and chimes without problem – but go back into the movie/show and there wasn’t any audio. I tried adjusting audio settings, switching to AirPlay speakers (which would work fine) then back to the TV (still no sound), resetting the TV, and searched the Samsung support forums for answers. Unfortunately it seems like this is a potential issue with this model, and possibly Samsung TV’s in general. What’s more, once while in the middle of a movie, the sound muted by itself (the remote was on the stand) for no reason at all. The mute icon just popped up on the screen and stayed that way until I adjusted the volume with the remote. Not an encouraging sign.I didn’t expect spectacular sound, but the combination of what I would call “just barely adequate sound” at this price point, combined with the frustration of sound dropping randomly means I’ll be sending this unit back. If I decide to try a replacement of the same model I’ll be sure to update my review, but for now I can’t see giving any more than 2 stars.Summary:Amazingly colorful, crisp picture with some very subtle clouding in the lower corners, beautiful and thoughtful industrial design, and a clean, snappy interface. But disappointingly poor sound and unacceptable sound dropping issues. I would highly advise looking & listening to this model in a store first if at all possible.

    Only 4k 32″ I could find

As per others here the viewing angle is very limited, but when you are within it, it is an outstanding picture. The HDR,HDR+ etc, doesn’t truly work, mostly because the backlight isn’t zoned, and the fact that it doesn’t have the dual led backlight. Sound is fine, especially if you have on stand with a hard surface underneath. The speakers down fire so if hung on wall bet they would be extremely tinny. I have it set to film maker mode for all, works fine. Colors are bright and no evidence of banding. The 4k upscaling works really well even with sd format. For our usage this TV fits the space constraints very well, small apartment living room. The built in software is fine, but slower than our connected roku 4k stick, so we use it instead of the built in smart tv apps. No doubt it would be fine if only thing available, but roku is definitely faster. Since we had it set up with what we needed it was easier just to keep it running. BTW roku remote will control on/off and volume and mute of this tv. Unless we need to change underlying tv settings we don’t us the nifty cool solar cell remote, 😀 The tv does have a higher power usb port which allows the roku to be powered by tv, no wall wart needed. Spectrum app, allowed us to save $8 a month in cable fees, since i could return rented cable box.All in all,Pros Picture Quality Smart TV features only 4k 32″ we could find Thin profile and extremely lightCons Bit pricey, but did get it while on sale so took out some of the sting HDR could be better Viewing angle is limited. Bezel could be thinner, but not obnoxiously thick. Don’t turn on the auto audio feature, causes lag between pic and sound sync. For what we needed this was a good, but pricey purchase. If it lasts as long as the 20+ year old Sanyo lcd tv, it will be worth it.

Keep on discovering new things about this tv.

I have had this 76 inch tv for 4 months and I use it for everything. It is especially good for gaming. It looks fine with the default settings but I keep on discovering new things about it.When the color temperature is set to standard instead of using a single temperature it combines bot warm and cool, which gives you a more complete light spectrum which not only improves the color, it also makes the screen more brilliant and easier to see.You can use both the internal speaker(which is pretty good btw) and external speakers at the same time, which greatly enhance sound quality, particularly stereo since it gives you a left, right and center like 3 speaker surround sound. The Samsung smart OS is pretty good and supports nearly every app I use except for The CW and PlutoTV, and Samsung TV has an incredible selection of channels and is almost like having cable tv.Game Mode for pc gaming is awesome even though I don’t use it myself I can definitely see the advantage to being able to play games in 20/9 or 4/3 aspect ratios. There is no HDR but the color is excellent and you can turn the color all the way up in settings and instead of looking like it is oversaturated it will look just like HDR is suppose to look. All in all I am very happy with this tv and consider it one of the best investments I have ever made.

    Crapy Remote

Great TV but why does samsung supply such a crapy remote for this price-point… get ready to constantly look for your remote and use your phone to figure out what buttons you need to push in the dark. There’s not even a pro remote to purchase. My other FireTv has a lit-up pro remote and also a remote finder…. you would think spending this much money on a TV Samsung would put a little more effort into there remote features. Guess I’ll have to buy a better universal remote to finally see the buttons again. Samsung internet browser using the remote is not that great either…. Almost sent the entire TV back because of this very poor feature, but I already hung the darn thing up! TV is 5 stars and very impressive, they just failed with how your able to interact with the TV with a dollar store remote. SAD 😔

    Good value for the money

I’ve had this for a short while now it does everything it supposed to. Easy setup. Easy selection. The ribbon for selecting your apps is great and the last selection shows up in a window below the ribbon for a ready to go if that is what you want. Otherwise select the ribbon and move to the app you want and select. This was easy to navigate including your menu for setup. The colors are spot on and even the speakers are decent if you don’t have a Home theater setup. (Depends on the room size too.) Just select a Name brand soundbar or home theater system. It will work with just about any of them just if you want to do some extra device connecting you might want to stick the name brands. I recommend this.

Don’t buy big ticket items from Amazon

The only thing wrong with the tv is the Amazon app. We pay a monthly fee in order to receive free shipping and the Amazon prime app with movies, tv shows, etc. The app doesn’t work on this tv. We went through the hoops with Samsung checking all connections and features. Final conclusion was to call Amazon. I did. Many times. All reps tried their best to resolve our problem. All except one who bluntly told me to just accept the fact that the app doesn’t work because Amazon will do nothing to fix it. He was right. Samsung rep said our tv was warranted until May. Amazon rep said too late for returns. Didn’t want to return. Maybe send us a Firestick? Anyway, Amazon won’t care but I’m canceling our Prime membership. That will make us feel a little better. Lesson learned: Buy big ticket items from reputable local stores who stand behind products.

    Ultra thin and excellent picture.

I purchased this Samsung to upgrade our small family room’s media setup. The value for the price is excellent.I have read several reviews for TV with a wide variety of opinions on it. Seems like a lot of them are by customers looking for elite quality products at lower end price and are disappointed that it didn’t meet expectations. In my opinion this is a quality product.First let’s talk about the TV itself. The manufacturers box was delivered with minimal denting to the box. Obviously with a 50 inch flat panel it’s difficult to find a shipping box for it so I was prepared for any normal shipping bumps and bruises. The package itself was light enough that my 8 yr old could bring it in with zero issues. Removing the TV from the box and accompanying Styrofoam, I was shocked by how thin it was. You could mount this on the wall and it would be on par with hanging pucture frames. The initial setup was fast and easy. Plug in the power, use the three HDMI spots to hook up your devices and let the setup search for channels. I chose to hardwire mine to my home network using an unmanaged switch because we have a lot of wifi devices running in the house and the demand on the network isn’t getting any lower. I don’t typically gush over remotes but I will this time. It’s small light weight and features a rechargeable battery using solar power or charging port. That’s right I said solar, flip this thing over in the light and let it do its thing. It also can be used to control other devices with no problem. There is a bit of a learning curve on using it but it can be quickly mastered. The picture quality is insane. I bought a couple of 4k HDMI cables to try out just how clear the picture could be. During football season I watched a few games on high definition channels and the quality was almost to good and when they switched to high-def cameras during the broadcast it seemed like I was playing a game. I streamed several NHL hockey games and it was like attending a game. I haven’t purchased a 4K UHD bluray player yet so I used my Xbox one to try out how it works as 4k player. I had ordered each Star Wars movie in 4k to try them out. The quality was so good it began to approach the level of looking fake. The sharpness and detail during space scenes made it look like models in a special effects shot. In close ups you can actually see the slightest scar or blemish on an actors face. Almost makes you want to lower the quality just to suspend disbelief for a movie. As far as using it for gaming again it just shines. Switching from a 10 year old flat panel to the Samsung 50 inch was like the difference between the original NES and Playstation 5. Playing my sports game was almost like a real broadcast. My kids played Call of Duty WWII and the storming of Omaha Beach was like watching Saving Private Ryan’s opening sequence. Almost no lag and the backgrounds were excellent. It’s a great gaming experience.Odds and ends: I paired a soundbar with it via Bluetooth and had no problems and great sound. The remote even automatically programed itself to control the speaker. There are some different settings that work with to change your viewing experience but I haven’t dived into them fully. The smart TV apps seem to work flawlessly when linked to my Netflix and Amazon prime accounts but I use another device for those as well so haven’t tested them fully. All in all if you are looking for a mid-teir TV this fits the bill in every way. If you are a serious videophile or audiophile than this will probably be solid but not what you are looking for. For your 2nd, third, or even fourth setup in your home it will do the job nicely.

    2nd Purchase only Bigger!

This TV is amazing, AMAZING!First I purchased the Samsung 65” 4K QLED for my bedroom, several months ago and absolutely love it so, I just bought the Same Samsung 4K QLED but, in 75”, for my LivingRoom. This TV is not only HUGE but, the picture is just so incredible that I would have to say,Mind Blown, Mic Drop.Who thought we’d own TV’s of this size in our homes when, growing up, if you had a 26” Sony, you were the coolest family on the block.I can’t believe how truly affordable these are, yes, I caught both on sale plus, I have 2 Samsung Sound Bars with Subs for each and I’m truly in heaven, again Mind Blowing Picture Size and Unreal 4K Quality in QLED and the Sound with the Soundbar with Sub is just a wonderful, movie theater-ish experience that is a “must have” in today’s world of true Home Theater.Just a side note, since this is turning into. Novel, I plan to upgrade both my Soundbars and Subs to the Klipsch 600 w/surround speakers as soon as I catch a sale (never listen to these speakers at a store as it will make you so unhappy when you listen to what you already have or anything else and honestly, I was so super happy with the sound from my Samsung Soundbar setup).Damn Klipsch for being the Best Sound and the Big Electronics Store for allowing me to hear them, even though I specifically went to that store with the sole intention of hearing the Klipsch system before I would buy them from Amazon. There’s a Huge Difference, I mean Huge Difference from UHD (which I had in the 65” and replaced with a 65” QLED) and QLED, which you see immediately and if you can spend the extra bucks to get QLED, you’ll never regret it, I still can’t believe the difference as I had both a 65” UHD & 65” QLED in my home at the same time and it drove me crazy so, I had to get another QLED ergo this 75” QLED.I bought the 3 year warranty and before you call me a fool/sucker, I will tell you exactly why it’s so very much worth it.What no one tells you (yet you can easily find out if you do a little research) all these Flat Screen TV are considered “Disposable”, to be replaced every 5-7 years as there’s little to near nothing that is fixable or worth the money to fix, that’s a biggie.I actually sold TV’s and other electronics a very long time ago and back then it was mostly a total scam but, not now.I’ve had 2 Flat Screens go out on me in the last 6 years and prices back then were much much higher. My 65” 1080P highest HiDef TV at the time (only $3,000.00 for a 42” LED), well it blew out, died, had a seizure, something or other and it was just out of warranty by only 3 months (of course).I tried everything, called everyone, started off really nice, tried bribing people and eventually went to yelling, cursing hey, Im a New Yorker (that’s a Nu Yawka who lived On Lawn Guyland okay😎lol) and got nowhere, nothing Fougeddabouddit. Finally I was offering to pay a repairman out of pocket but, he told me it just wasn’t worth it.My High Definition LCD Flat Screen went out with the trash (you don’t want to tell the wife that story because you know she was against it, never needed or wanted a big TV in “Her House! we’ll get back to “Her House” later”.I replaced that TV with a 65” 4K UHD TV but, this time I bought the 3 year warranty and wouldn’t you know it, at the very beginning of the second year(isn’t it funny how everything always works great until 12 seconds after the warranty runs out), the screen started to really mess up, there were streaks of light, bright dots and stars, it was just too annoying to watch, especially since our TV’s are now a major part of the home decor. In today’s living room, it’s become the key focal point and the main attraction for which the TV is front and center, then we adjust all the furniture around it.Of course I called the Extended Warranty Company btw & fyi a little heads up so it’ll make sense or not, I’m a New Yorker so, I was already for a fight before anything started, it’s always going to be something and then an argument.I explained the problem bla bla bla and the service rep explained that I was out of the manufacturer’s warranty so, I was correct to contact them but, this was a problem that they were already very familiar with and unfortunately it’s not a fixable problem.Okay, Here we go, my blood pressure is already rising as I’m waiting to find out how I was scammed.First the Service Rep apologized for it not being a repairable problem and immediately asked when the could Schedule the appointment to pick up my broken TV and bring me a Brand New One, a time that would be convenient for me.Wait, did I hear that correctly, what’s the catch?I asked he to repeat what he said and also to let me know how much out of pocket it was going to cost me for a New TV, that I think he just said, they are bringing me to replace my 2 years old broken TV?Long story short, they delivered a Newer Model as mine was discontinued, they apologized again (poor me they upgraded my broken TV for a newer model, I think I’ll live) and it cost me absolutely zip, zero, zilc, nada, NOTHING!!!I couldn’t wait to tell the Wife this story as I am going to exaggerate, embellish and make up a story of how I had to fight them to get this Newer Model and I wasn’t going to pay them a penny (come on, every guy does this, we all want to be the hero in our wives eyes). It didn’t matter because during this whole fiasco, it turned out the wife was defective too and like she said, the TV was my idea so, I got the New Newer TV for free all for myself and she didn’t get it (of course she got the House, Cars, the Dogs, basically everything but, the TV and Almost All Of My Money for the next too many years, that’s a divorce in New York, it’s all about the ladies and I’m okay with that but, this is about a TV & the Extended Warranty and I got both!!!).The Moral of this Looong Story,The Samsung QLED is a wonderful thing to have in your house, just incredible, nothing comes close (there’s the 8K, it’s better but, if you had the big bucks that 8K TV’s go for, why would you still be reading this?) plus, if you add a Soundbar and Sub, now or later, Chances are you are going to love watching movies at home more than going out, driving to the theater, looking for parking, waiting online to pay ridiculous ticket prices just before you get robbed at the snack bar and don’t forget the super large cup of ice with a splash of soda and your $6.00 stale candy bar , garbage pail of the saltiest popcorn that’s guaranteed to get you the new high score on the free CVS Blood Pressure Machine, don’t forget your “Fake Butter Flavoring”, now you’re already to sit with a bunch noisy nosey of strangers, trying to calculate how the bill for the overpriced snacks were more than the overpriced tickets yet, still unable to stop thinking about why your feet are stuck to those gross floors.Hey, some people just love that theater experience,I think a nice bright 4K QLED in my own hone with a nice sound system, my couch, my new future ex at my side, our own fresh junk food, no strangers annoying us and the best part,Pause for a quick bathroom break plus,Rewind anything you didn’t hear or want to see it again.I will pick Home Theater with my75” Samsung QLED every time (okay some movies should be seen in a theater but, that’s for you to decide, I’m staying home!)Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️2 Thumbs up 👍 👍and a whole bunch ofSmileys 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Best TV I Have Ever Owned, Incredible Picture Quality!!

The media could not be loaded.

First off, I want to dispell any bad reviews you may read about this TV. The people who wrote them simply don’t know how to do an “Expert Setup” on their TV. They obviously think it’s “Plug n’ Play” and that is NOT the case with any TV, not just this one.All TV’s are setup at the factory and are set at neutral settings across the board throughout the TV’s range. You MUST know how to properly adjust each individual setting to optimize the picture quality!!These settings are located under >Settings>Picture>Expert Settings, on the TV’s menu. Don’t be afraid to make some mistakes, this is how I learned! You can always hit factory reset and yes, start all over again!!I know how to do this, I’m very experienced on tweaking TV’s. Not to scare anyone, but this one took me the better part of 4 days to fine tune, but man, was it time well spent!!I scanned different channels, waited patiently for facial close-ups, making adjustments, and basically got a good sampling of all types of TV viewing. Doing this, eliminates the need to make minor adjustments with certain programs occasionally.I’m very discerning and picky when it comes to a TV’s picture quality. Remember, this is only a one-time fine tuning!! Getting this picky only happens once, it won’t be a constant hassle during your TV’s lifespan. I have dialed in this TV so well, it’s like looking out my picture window at real life action, live. In some scenes the people look lifesize!! Wild!!To the average viewer, you may not want to go as far as I did fine tuning your TV, but if you really want to experience the extreme level of excellence that this TV is most definitely capable of, you will find the time to take my advice and just do it!!I bought the 75 inch screen and mounted it on my living room wall like the masterpiece it is! I’m a firm Samsung believer, their quality and technology is top-notch and world-class!!I bought a full-motion wall mount for my installation. It’s rated for TV’s up to 130lbs. With a full-motion mount, it makes connecting cables very easy. Just pull it out from the wall and turn it to the left, that’s where the USB/HDMI ports are. You can easily get behind the TV by doing this.If you need more USB/HDMI ports than are provided, there are 3, you can buy splitter hubs to turn one port into 2, 3 or more. Just be sure they are 4K splitters.Additionally, I recommend using a Bi-Directional splitter. It allows to either “input one” port, in to “2 output ports,” or reverse it to “2 input ports,” to “one output port.”. (Depending on your specific needs.) These types of splitters are used for connecting other components to your TV. A button on top of the splitter allows you to switch between TV mode, to Blu-ray player or DVR etc.Note: If you’re going to mount your TV on a wall, be sure to use a stud-finder to locate the wall studs. DO NOT mount your TV onto just drywall or paneling alone. My wall is thick pine paneling, drywall, and concrete block behind that.I used a 8″ concrete drill bit and lag-bolted the mount with lead concrete anchors, directly into solid concrete. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon!!I also bought a wireless keyboard and mouse so I can easily access the TV’s internet capabilities. With Alexa included, I just say into the voice remote, “Alexa, open the internet.” And she opens it to my home page. This is just one example of what Alexa can do, the list is seemingly endless. If you have other smart devices in your home, they can be programmed into this TV and controlled by using Alexa as well.As I write this review I am watching my big-screen as you would a computer monitor or smartphone screen and I have the Pandora music app pumping my favorite music thru my home stereo in the background. For me, this online multi-combination is great for reading/writing emails, playing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc, paying bills, shopping or just browsing the web.And I would be remiss if I forgot to mention the voice remote!! No more batteries to change out! This remote has an indoor solar panel on the back! Bout time someone thought of that! It also has USB charging if you prefer. Its slim design is simple to use and easy to learn.I am simply blown away with this TV! I have it wired into my 1,000 watt per channel home stereo and I’m so glad I live in a cinder block house, not a glass one!! I’m waiting for the day I accidently blowout my picture window!!The combination of the big-screen and my sound system is like sitting front and center at the movie theater. Extremely impressive! For the price, (It was $1497 at the time I purchased this 2021 model,) this TV is an amazing deal if you can’t afford the upper class models, such as the Q70’s, Q80’s or Q90’s.One hint for the not so tech savvy. You MUST upgrade your cable box/satellite service to 4K. This TV won’t give you a 4K picture thru a cable or satellite box unless you do. Then check your cable box settings to make sure it configures correctly at boot-up and is set to 4K resolution. This upgrade should include using 4K HDR HDMI cables, NOT standard HDMI cables. So consult your cable or satellite service for what you will need to receive a true 4K (3840X2160) UHD picture. One other hint: Double-check your cable box video setting to be sure it configures correctly! Some boxes, even though 4K, will default to standard HD (1080P) or even 720P. If this is the case with yours, scroll to the 2160P setting and lock your picture into 4K. I have deep, rich blacks and bright, vivid colors that explode off the screen and come to life with true to life flesh tones as well. This is the result of the HDR (High Dynamic Range.) Simply put, it enhances brightness, contrast and color levels significantly.I can actually tell the difference between a person in a black suit and a person in a very dark blue one! This tells me my brightness, contrast and color levels are set perfectly. Please don’t judge this TV’s picture quality by my cellphone pictures and short video! They truly don’t do this TV justice. You have to see it in person, and just take my word for it that it’s just absolutely incredible! All in all, I am extremely happy with this purchase, and I am sure if you know what you’re doing, you can set it up perfectly to your liking. Or if you can’t, ask a techie friend you may have, we all know one or two!!Just a quick note: I noticed that it appears that this comment page lists posts from owners with a wide range of TV models and sizes. For the record, I am experiencing outstanding results as I just described with the SAMSUNG 75-Inch Class QLED Q60A Series – 4K UHD Dual LED Quantum HDR Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN75Q60AAFXZA, 2021 Model)I can’t speak to any other models. I hope your choice is as good as mine was!!Good luck!Jeff StearnsWhitehall, MI.

Battle of the 32″ inches – TV (Samsung QN32Q60A) or Monitor (LG 32UL500-W) for mixed use?

This review is for the 32″ model QN32Q60AAFXZA. I was looking for a 32″ screen with HDR for mixed use as a PC monitor and TV in my garage while exercising on my elliptical trainer. I wasn’t sure if getting a TV or 4K HDR monitor was the way to go since TVs tend to render text poorly, while monitors render HDR poorly. I have a PC and a Amazon FireTV stick hooked to a HDMI switcher connected to the screen and so I did not care for smart features.I tried out both the QN32Q60AAFXZA and the LG 32UL500-W 32″ HDR 4K monitor (which is actually better than its successor LG 32UN500-W model). I have an LG OLED and so deeper blacks is something I am sensitive to and care deeply about. TL;DR, the Samsung won with distinctly darker blacks and punchier contrast, while maintaining very good text clarity for PC and so I ended up ponying $200 more for the Samsung over the LG.Comparing the rtings reviews of both of these, the Samsung has 50% more contrast ratio (Samsung’s 4,653:1 vs. LG’s 2,883:1) and ~200 nits higher brightness (HDR Real Scene: Samsung’s 468 cd/m2 vs. LG’s 242 cd/m2) which shows. However, Samsung’s 32″ screen size differs from other sizes in that it doesn’t come with dual LED. This appears to reduce both color accuracy and brightness by 5~10% compared to other models from what I read online. What was surprising was that rtings stated better viewing angles on the LG (6.6 avg score vs. 5.7 score of the samsung’s) but it was the reverse in my experience. The LG’s screen felt more washed out as I moved around even small amounts that I did not experience with the Samsung. I do not do color sensitive work, and so I did not evaluate color accuracy where the LG might have a lead. As far as PC use is concerned, it is good. The HDR performance on the Samsung is still subpar, with content needing high brightness (like metallic objects) unable to really standout (e.g. like the coronation scene in “Gods of Egypt”, and the golden threads in the circus scenes in the “The Greatest Showman”). rtings stated as much and apparently you need 600+ nits of brightness to get that. But for normally lit scenes, everything looks fantastic. However, to keep things in perspective, even my Vizio 40″ (V405-H9) which costs nearly half the Samsung has a higher contrast ratio and looks better in HDR in my darker room. Goes on to emphasize that if you are flexible and can go with larger TV sizes (esp. 55″) then far better options really open up.The Samsung is noticeably more compact in size (perhaps 1/2″ smaller in all directions) and the power supply is built into the TV (with a paltry 4 foot power cord), while the LG has a bulky external power supply. I use a 3rd party 100mm VESA mount and so I didn’t try out the stands. Samsung requires registration to do anything useful with it, but if you simply need to use a HDMI input, you can actually do that with just the basic setup – no need to put it on the internet or sign up for a Samsung account. Also you can use your smart phone as a remote and skip the included remote which has a weird solar based charging and non-intuitive buttons. Its best to skip Samsung’s ecosystem entirely and invest in a Fire TV 4K stick, Google TV, or a Roku 4K stick.I like a touch of vivid (i.e., not color accurate) without it being too obnoxious like in the Dynamic picture mode – these are the settings that I preferred on the Samsung. Once I set these, I then tweaked the color settings in windows to improve the PC contrast and colors without affecting TV watching – unfortunately there are no user saved profiles that you can save and switch easily:Picture Mode = FILMMAKER MODEExpert settings:Brightness = 50Contrast = 50Sharpness = 5Color = 35Tint = 0Picture Clarity Settings = OffContrast Enhancer = OffColor Tone = StandardGamma > ST.2084 = 3Shadow Detail = -2 (minus 2 for darker blacks; adjust this higher to -1 or 0 if you want to trade off darker black levels for more shadow detail instead – tweak this setting along with the Gamma > ST.2084 value to suit your tastes)Color Space Settings = NativeGeneral > Power and Energy Saving > Brightness Optimization = OffGeneral > Power and Energy Saving > Brightness Reduction = OffGeneral > Power and Energy Saving > Motion Lighting = Off

Great TV. Great protection. Has payment plan.

I did extensive research to find a good gaming TV for my next generation Xbox. This television is the best hands down for the price. Not only is it great for gaming but the picture quality for movie and shows is great too. Had great audio but after a couple years my TV started having audio issues and started getting dead pixels. I was going to return it because the audio would randomly not work at all on occasion. Luckily I bought the protection plan [ do it, you’d be crazy not to] and they actually credited the 597$ to my Amazon account and let me keep my TV. I was honestly impressed by the protection plan coverage. I expected maybe I’d get it repaired or they’d send me a replacement. Overall the best TV I’ve ever had. I love everything about it. Even the remote is dope. Great for gaming. Just don’t leave it on when it’s not being used. I think I payed it off with no interest monthly which was amazing. I had enough to pay for it but it would of hurt my bank account. Being able to pay monthly on this thing was a no Brainerd. Absolutely loved the entire experience with this television.

    Excellent! Love my new TV!!!

I can’t say enough about this tv! I bought a 65 inch from Amazon that had been “renewed” but was “like new”. I knew I was taking a chance, but was encouraged by Amazon’s product guarantee, return policy and terrific price! I ended up saving about 100 bucks for essentially a new product-it even came in the original packaging with everything inside!I’ve had my tv for about 3 days and have been testing it and learning the different features. Everything works perfectly and it took me about 20 minutes to set up by myself after taking it out of the packaging. If I’d had help, I probably could’ve had it set up in half the time. You should have your internet service connected and a smart phone handy to get through the quick set up steps efficiently. With those 2 things in place, I found the set very easy to do. If you are a gamer or need to connect equipment to the tv ( like a game consul or a DVD player), make sure you have hdmi cords that can handle 4 k high speed connections, to maximize the screen and viewer experience. It does make a difference! The screen picture is pristine, and the color is vibrant and crisp. It really is amazing to see how much tech has improved from even 5 years ago! I appreciate also that the main streaming platform apps are already downloaded to the Home Screen, and for those apps that aren’t, you can likely download from the App Store on there. The one thing I wish were better is the remote. It’s easy to use, but it also very limited. You actually allow light to recharge it, rather than using batteries. I hate this because the tv is in my basement family room that doesn’t get much natural light. I suppose I’ll have to leave a light on now to let it charge. So inconvenient. It’s also very slim and small. For a person with large hands, it gets annoying.

    Awesome 32″ QLED TV

Love everything about this 32″ TV. For me the gaming feature is my favorite . I am able to get a 1440 resolution on my XBOX S console. The picture quality is so much improved over the 1080 . I can set the expert picture settings the way I like just for gaming and they will stay that way when the gaming mode for the TV is on. So you have your normal TV settings and your Gaming settings. There is a menu setting that automaticly sets the gaming setting on when you turn on your console. I do not have cable just a Nvidea Shield android box and it pairs perfectly. The picture is fantastic. The audio very good you have 3 bass and 2 trebble adjustment bars sort of an equalizer. I increased the Bass all the way and it is fine. I did hook up my sound bar but rarely do I need it. I have bluetooth wirless headphones so that is my go to for music. The remote very slim and can be charged solarly or with a C type USB charger. The TV stand is very sturdy and the feet are nonslip. It has 3 HDMI ports which is great my old TV only had 1. With my Shield box on the TV on uses 30 Watts pretty amazing. I have not used the smart TV funtions but is has a ton of free movies and TV programing and it comes with Samsung gaming Hub which I have not tried since I have the console. In conclusion I am way happy with my purchase well worth the $ 427.00.

    Great TV!

Purchased: the 32″ 1080 dp model. The picture is fantastic—it’s so clear, it verges on 3D. Easy to use, and setting up and connecting to various streaming services is fairly intuitive. I bought this to replace a comparable Vizio purchased in 2020 that I didn’t expect to replace so soon. Connecting to streaming services on the Vizio was hit or miss; half the time I had to smartcast from my phone or tablet. The picture quality was decent, but nothing like the Samsung. And often I’d have to unplug and replug the Vizio to fix an audio issue (the volume would fall out of sync with the picture and it sounded “underwater”). When I moved, I didn’t take that set with me even though I knew I’d need a tv. I’ve only had the Samsung for a few days but I’m thrilled with it. The Smart TV Plus channels are a nice bonus; found a Dateline channel which will get a lot of play. 🙂 I’m an Apple guy, but I can appreciate the care and craftsmanship of Samsung’s products, especially this one. Only two minor beefs: the price of the unit is higher than expected, though, if it continues to work like this, it’ll be well worth it. Also, in trying to streamline the remote, they made it a bit too minimalist and, to me, not very intuitive. It took me a little time to get it to do everything I wanted it to do. (Admittedly, I didn’t read any instructions.)

There are better tvs but you’ll be spending and arm and a leg to beat this.

So first of i apologize for this long read, but if youre here to contemplate buying a cheap vizeo or and even more exoensive higher end tv like I was, then i hope this can give u some persoective in making your decision, if you’ve done any shopping around for samaung tvs, you know that this is more of the entry way into the nicer samsung displays. With that being said, after having it for a few months, streaming, casting, listening to music, and playing ps4 and switch. I must say, it’s an incredible TV. I chose to go samsung as I’ve always been a samsung fan, but also because even though you can get a much cheaper large display 4k vizio/tlc/hisence. The problem with those, as I’ve experienced in the past is that they highly cheapest on the processor as the user interface is frustrating slow. Apps fail to load, Netflix finally starts up by the time your nexfl8x and xhill girl needs to go home, internet connection is crap, pixels die in a few months if they didnt already arrive dead, tv freezes as youre trying to put on your favorite streaming app and videos consistently buffer, and the color accurancy is ok at best, and it’s a shot in the dark whether or not you’re going to recieve a bad apple that will break down in a few months. What I love about this TV is that everything seems quite snappy and quick. Setup was simple through the samsung smart things phone app. Internet seems fast, you can use your phone as a keyboard and remote through the smart things app as well as lunch apps and project your phone and pc screen wirelessly. The picture quality is great even though it’s using the lite Quantum upscale 4k processor unlike the bigger bothers of the line, however even when watching a 1080p movie, the upscaling does seem to make it much more detailed and higj res. The TV seems smart enough to always know what input I want it in as I turn on different entertainment systems. The user interface in my opinion is pretty straight forward, and you get free access to samsung tv + which provides a whole bunch of free channels, and for someone who hasn’t had cable TV in the last decade or so, it’s a nice touch. You also get access to all the typical smart TV apps like Netflix, Disney, hulu, prime, funimation, HBO, youtube, crackle, tubi, apple tv, plex, pandora, AMC, spotify, news apps and a browser and a bunchnof others ive yet to install. But bear in mind this is not a full fledged android tv, so apps are plentiful but limited for sure. However I’m surprised that even with the inclusion of Google assistant, I’m unable to cast whatever I want to the TV, besides YouTube and Netflix and other apps that are already included with casting capabilities on the tv, so I had to get a chrome cast to cast my own things…. or maybe im just dumb and iverlooked something. One cool thing though is if u have an android (not sure about iphone), you can control almost everything from the smart things app and project your phone onto the screen and even have multiple things on the screen at a time including your ohine screen as you watch netflix to the other side. For ios users apple airplay is built in. And the integrated alexa/Google assistant/smartthings can be used to control any smart devices u have in your home – smartt lights, robot vaccums, nest thermostats, smart switches and all other alexa/google assistant stuff which is great. As well as getting your phone notifications to show on the tv. And if u have other smart speakers, those can be used control the tv as well. Now unfortunately for some of the bad. First of all is it’s not as pixel clear and bright as it’s more expensive order brothers. The viewing radius is good but not great, But by setting the display to dynamic or vivid and the brightness slightly up, it’s honestly plenty bright and colorful and clear for me. Second is the built in speakers are okay…. I mean they’re not horrible, and can definitely be enjoyable in a smaller area, but there’s next to no bass, and voices are a little more pitchy than they should be, so a decent sound bar with a sub will go a long way. Personally i got the samsung HW-650 with DTS virtual x and the included sub woofer for not that much money and it basically as close to a home movie theatre experience now. My least favorite things though is that it only has 3 hdmi inputs, 1 of which is an hdmi eARC port that I use for my sound bar, which leaves me with just 2 hdmi ports. Perhaps thats more than enough for you, but with a few gaming systems and a sound bar ive already ran through all of them, however you can find high quality cheap hdmi port splitters right here on Amazon so no big deal but still, and luckily my Samsung soundbar has an extra hdmi port that can be accessed through the TV. My last and final gripe I should say is the remote. At first I actually really liked how small and simple and compact it is, it even can charge through solar or USB c. But overtime youll realize that sometimes having more buttons is better as you just end up having to click more buttons to get things done, like changing the input source, opening the settings, finding your apps, and typing in channel numbers. though the alexa/Google assistant functionality does fill in some gaps for sure.Overall I’m thrilled I went with this model despite being able to afford the higher end ones. Sure go for it if you wish, but i would say this will surely suffice you, and you might save enough money to get an even larger tv or better sound system, maybe even a second tv for your room or something.Last thing, I saw some comments about the refresh rate of this tv being just 60hz, however according to the official samsung listing of this exact model, it should be 120hz. I’ve yet to plug in my how powered gaming pc to test this limit for myself, but just food for thought

This was a great step up for us! Extremely pleased and excited! (Edit added at bottom) + NEW EDIT!

We were planning on getting a new TV last year for Christmas but put it off and when I saw this on sale this year I was not going to let the opportunity slide by to get it. My older parents (70s) have one and every time we were over to visit we saw the beautiful picture on this. (I would like to add that if my parents can work this TV okay it shouldn’t be a issue for older people.)The setup was pretty easy with my phone and QR code. Took about 2 minutes maybe total and we were up and going. At first my receiver didn’t want to play the sound but it was a easy fix of snugging the HDMI cord in back. With multiple devices running into the receiver I was very happy to see that each one fired up great. Xbox and PS looked crisp, laptop with RDR2 looked beautiful – almost photo realistic.I can’t comment too much on the native sound from it besides from being at the parents. It does seem to have a nice quality to it over there. They have a large living room and while it isn’t hooked to a sound bar it does a good job (my dad is a little hard of hearing so he turns it up sometimes).I have noticed with my Yamaha receiver that the sound quality seems better (the wife agrees). We have Polk tower speakers and a sub in the living room and with this TV it just feels better to listen too.The legs with it are pretty sturdy. We have it on them temporarily until I have someone assist mounting it to the stand. The location of the connections in the back is convenient and the power plug connection is opposite side of the back. Not much to say there – should be easy enough to keep them hidden if you want the neat look (I do lol). The remote has a solar panel on the back! This is genius! Absolutely a very cool feature! No batteries to replace is great! It came preloaded with some apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and a few more along those lines. I do not think it will let me delete the ones we won’t use that were preloaded. Searching for and installing apps is easy and the TV has a lot of space to install them on.Very, very nice TV – this is a step up from our 3 year old TCL Roku TV. Price was right when we got it on sale. And it got here in time for the Big-10 Championship on Saturday! Sorry Buckeye fans you’ll have to sit this one out. (Sorry I had to add that lol)EDIT: If you plan on mounting this to a stand or wall make sure you get the proper bolts for it. My understanding is M8 from what I have read. Imagine my surprise to find out the same bolts I have used for years (at least 6 years and 2 TVs, different brands, both fit like a glove) with the same standing mount and then finding out they will not fit. I would recommend when you go to hardware store to get a size smaller and a size up just in case. The holes on the TV are decently deep so compensate with the bolt length and if your using spacers also don’t forget extra for those also.Lastly, the picture is really amazing! We have watched Forest Gump (the darks are beautiful, everything was so crisp), Terrifier 2 (again the colors were amazing, looks great for a low budget horror film), and a few episodes of Planet Earth (this by far was almost mind blowing how amazing it looks).General watching of TV is near perfect. Who would have guessed Wheel of Fortune could look so good lol.EDIT 2: (06.01.23) The remote is ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS! I misplaced my Fire TV dongle remote and had been using my smartphone as a remote for it. UNTIL 2 MINUTES AGO! The remote works with the Fire dongle!!! Absolutely spanking fantastic! I have not messed with the multi screen view yet but when I finally do I will be back to rant about that probably. On a side note I had the pleasure of watching Operation Wolf Hunting on the tv – it just makes everything look so amazing! Mad Max: Fury Road (black and white version) – crisp and sharp as a chef’s knife. The Villainess, Kung Fu Killer, literally every action kung fu movie looks so vivid – even the older Jackie Chan flicks like Police Story and Fantasy Mission Force (which is actually VHS and yes I do have a combo player hooked up and no issues at all) – everything is solid. I love this TV. If I was not married already I might have married this TV.
