The P16 is a pair of 6” 2-way full-range speakers rated at 55 watts RMS and designed for audio fanatics needing a quality factory replacement. The P16 offers a Flex Fit basket to ensure compatibility with odd shaped factory speaker locations and an ICC (Integrated Concealed Crossover), eliminating the need to mount any black boxes. The PEI dome tweeter provides accurate frequency reproduction as well as high volume output. The P16 is exactly what you need to replace your OEM factory speakers with, impressive sounding speakers built with high quality materials in an easy to install package.

Flex Fit Basket Design
The slot mounted frame pattern of the Flex Fit basket utilizes slots instead of single screw sized holes. This allows for a slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted for a better fit.
Injection Molded Cone
Our high strength injection molded polypropylene cone is rigid and lightweight to minimize any cone flex during use, improving the speakers overall sound quality while reducing potential distortion
Integrated Crossover
The Integrated Concealed Crossover hides the crosssover inside the basket, creating a cleaner look and easier installation. It also ensures the right frequencies are sent to the proper driver for the best quality sound with maximum protection.

Excellent bass and sounds great as single speaker
Mounted in 1961 Cadillac convertible in original rear center seat location (using original grill). 6″ size fits on back side of mounting plate with plenty of clearance. 6.5″ size might fit as well, but I went with the 6″ to be safe. Very pleased. This is mounted as a single rear channel speaker, as that’s the way it was originally rigged in this car. Paired with a Hertz-Dieci dual-voice dash speaker up front (also excellent). Fader set to favor rear speaker (4 out of 10), the systems sounds great with new head unit and no external amplifier. This Rockford-Fosgate pumps a decent amount of bass and rounds out the system with no installation fuss. Well built and great sounding speaker all around. Only thing that could be better is option to buy just one speaker instead of a pair. Now I have an extra, which I’ll hopefully never need to use.

A lot of punch for a small speaker
I recently restored a Fiat convertible. Being the car is so small I was limited on the size of speaker I could fit. I figured I wouldn’t have much bass and that was the trade off of driving a 50 year old convertible. I was also able to run only 25 WPC because of the car’s older electrical system. I originally bought the Alpine and no matter how much I EQd them the sound was flat with no bottom end. I then got the RF. I didn’t expect that much bottom end from such a small speaker. I would recommend paying a little more to anyone to get these speakers.

Nice speakers. Will not fit in 2002 Rav4.
Sound great. Have very good bass. Arrived fast. But, they do not fit in a 2002 Rav4. You will have to do major panel modification and speaker mount adaptation as I did, to get these to clear your windows on the inner door. So if you’re prepared, and have a Dremel, they are a great bet.

Great product.
In short, they ar wan obvious upgrade over the OE speakers that They replaced. Much lower lows. Crisper highs and better volume all around. When paired with my Pioneer MVX560BT that I upgraded my factory head unit with they really came alive.I installed the pair in the front doors of my 1992 Honda Accord EX wagon. The installation took a bit longer than I had anticipated for two reasons:1. I decided to solder the wire directly to the speaker instead of using crimp style fittings2. The speakers were slightly deeper than the factory speakers and requires a small amount of shimming to be done in order to fit correctly.All in all I would recommend to anyone that is looking for some thump without wanting to run wires for a sub and amp.

Excellent sound quality. No distortion when turned up
Great upgrade.. But looking at my stocks anything can be huh….I purchased these for the rear and (much more money) Rockford Fosgate T1650 Power 6.5″ for the front…To be honest these have more bass than the T1650″s. One of the T”s didn’t sound right. Bad static and all. Sounds like the tweeter is out. So I’m sending them back and buying a pair of these in 6.5 because they have excellent sound quality. No distortion when turned up either!

The “little” big speaker.
Amazon’s “what fits your car” is lacking at times. These speakers DO fit the front doors of 2nd generation Ford Escort/ Mercury Tracer Wagons. Shallow enough for the standard installation behind stock door panels and the windows won’t hit. Used one stock screw hole and drilled 3 more. With the Metra speaker harness installation was a snap.Usually the 5×7’s in the back have more punch than the front speakers. However, in this case these 6″ speakers are louder, clearer, and have more punch.Only distort at ridiculous volume.

Great product
Great sound on my factory Subaru radio. Not a direct fit as advertised. Does’nt mount in place of speakers mounted with three screws. Had to drill two new mounting holes. Other than that, great product.

Perfect Sound!!!
Replaced the rear speakers in my 06 Scion XB. These speakers are everything they say they are… I researched and read all the reviews I could for 3 weeks before I finally made a purchase and these are well worth it for the money. Perfect crisp clear sound and used dyna-mat on the install and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and the great sound! Thanks Rockford Fosgate for a great speaker!

Outstanding!
Made these fit in the very rear of my 98 Suburban. The factory 4x10s blew a while ago and I replaced them with some RF 4x6s. They never really gave me the sound I wanted. These do. Hind sight 20/20, I should have gone this route first. I love the sound output I’m getting now.

Great Sound, for the price!
I really was not expecting much, even though they were purchased for 100.00 bucks. I was really surprised and pleased at the amount of bass and clarity. They are loud in my 2008 Silverado, louder than I will ever play them. Now, if you want thumping bass, need to look somewhere else. But they have great bass for normal speakers. I also used my original speaker mounts, which of course had to be modified, the ones that came with the speakers were flimsy at best.

Amazon DOES NOT provide the correct brackets
I recently purchased these speakers after extensive research into options for the rear panel of my 2006 Scion XB and found that both amazon and Crutchfield said the 6″ speakers would fit however neither mentioned that a specialized bracket was necessary as the size of the speaker casing is much larger than the hole in the car from the previous speaker. Mainly just writing this so amazon can correct their listing and advise customers that either EXTREME body modification is necessary, OR you can purchase the Scosche SASCN656 Speaker mounting bracket and that will allow you to install without working too hard. Overall the speakers are amazing but I am extremely annoyed with amazon for not indicating separate brackets were necessary or including them with the purchase as I had my vehicle input into the search.

Absolutely not worth it
Before I bought this speaker I read the reviews and I thought maybe it’s good speakers but I was wrong, The sound of the speakers is very weak with less bass I don’t really like it.

Direct replacement on my Jeep Cherokee
I installed these as rear speakers in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and am very happy. Although the stock speakers I replaced were 5.25 inch, these 6 inch fit perfectly with no modifications necessary. I also bought the wiring harness (Metra 72-6512 2 Pin Rectangular Speaker Connector) from Amazon so I didn’t need to cut the factory speaker wires. I did however need to replace the female spades on the aftermarket wiring to fit the larger male spades on the speakers. In the end, these are high quality units from a trusted company known for quality.

Terrific!
Installed these in the doors of my vintage ’72 Dodge pickup. They replaced the old ones that were shot. The 5″ holes (for 6″ speakers) which were already there for the old ones fit the new speakers perfectly but I did have to drill new 1/8″ holes for mounting the new speakers with their grilles, which was no problem. The speaker wires had blade connectors for the old speakers which went right on the new leads without any modification — so installation couldn’t have been easier. I’m very happy with the sound quality. It’s just for my AM/FM radio but that’s all I want and it sounds excellent and loud and clear over my noisy old truck.

Don’t settle for the cheapies!
Absolutely satisfied with these speakers in my o3 wrx! They replaced the stock speakers and sound extraordinarily crisp and clear. They didn’t come with speaker wire is the only thing that stood out to me… The back side of the mounting ring has like rubber foam so as to not cause rattling! I got the Kenwood the same size and they sounded terrible and rattled so much my soul is still shaking! If you are getting these for A GD WRX get the front speaker adapter for the love of god! It will save time $ and effort headache and a whole lot of swearing!! You’re welcome!

OUT OF THIS WORLD Quality
Good God, these are incredible. I didn’t have the budget to factor in a subwoofer and amplifier as well as go through the hassle of wiring it all up so I decided to splurge on the speakers a little bit to make up for the lack of bass. And WOW am I impressed. These sound as good as my sound system at home WITH a subwoofer. The range, sound, and depth are outstanding. There are a great alternative if you don’t necessarily have a sub. THE BASS oh my god the bass. When I turn these all the way up the trim panels on my Tacoma start vibrating and thrashing like never before.These are great speakers for a great price with no compromises.
