Works well and resolved a storage issue
I needed more storage for frozen food because my bottom freezer shelves had limited storage space. The only issue was with the delivery. UPS will not bring it in the house. I had to push it into the garage and unpack it, which was challenging. There should be better delivery options.

Fantastic Freezer

Good for the price, but don’t expect perfection
My chest freezer arrived very promptly, several days ahead of the estimated delivery window, which was great. While the instructions labeled on the freezer and those in the manual were *not* identical (for example, one says to let the freezer sit for 6 hours before plugging in the first time, the other says 4 hours), it was easy enough to figure out. The freezer has since been plugged in and seems to be keeping temp. And, as advertised, it is very quiet.I have only had this freezer for a few days, but I can say I am very hesitant about how it will hold up. The box it was delivered in was in great shape and, overall, there are no dents or dings that other customers have mentioned. However, there are clearly signs of damage or poor manufacturing from the warehouse or earlier. Part of the acrylic wrap, which seems like it is integral to the freezer and not intended to be removed, is all ripped up on the back of the freezer. This seems more aesthetic than a functional concern, and it may be possible to stick back together using a hairdryer. Other elements were more concerning. Pieces of the frame seemed slightly warped, something which the company clearly identified before shipping out — weird pieces of foam and aluminum tape were used to plug gaps. I happened to remove much of these as I was following the instructions to “ensure the bottom of the freezer is clear of styrofoam” and there doesn’t seem to have been any issues yet…but I’m not confident. Similarly, I can’t tell if the lid is closing properly. It seems like a tight fit, but there is minor icing already on either side of the lid opening.Finally, my biggest concern is how often the compressor seems to be running. It appears to be clicking on for 3.5 minutes every 8-9 minutes, which isn’t significant (about 30% of every hour running) but seems more often than my large fridge in the kitchen. The compressor ran more frequently, of course, after I had the door open — but even loading the empty unit with some frozen goods hasn’t had an impact one way or the other. Could be normal and seems functional, but no idea if this is in line with specifications as the manual provides very little detail on operations!Overall, if you’re looking for something easy on the budget that will give you some extra storage space, this is a good bet — as long as you are okay taking the risk that there’s probably a higher chance the thing randomly goes kaput and loses your frozen goods.

Perfect for kitchenette

Excellent Customer Service
I received the product (freezer) and performed all of the necessary prep such as allowing it to sit upright for 24 hours prior to powering it up. However the unit would not chill at all and as soon as I would power it up I could hear the unit shut off after about 5 seconds and it would not restart. The seller was very good about responding and offering a full refund including the shipping cost that I had paid. So my review and rating is based on the customer support that I received and not on the unit itself. Excellent customer support – thank you!

Worth every penny.
This Freezer got here fast via Fed Ex. 2 days! Box is a little bulky but needs to be for protection.Me and my wife remove it from the box in 2 min.We carried up a flight and a half of stairs, brought it to the room we are keeping it. Removed the tapeplugged it in, put it on the proper setting (4) recommended for first time. We let it run 24hrs.~PerFeCTo~ not a scratch dent or anything got it in black. We love it. It’s very quiet, barely a hum and occasionally I can here it start when the house is silent. It’s worth every penny.

Freezer for camper.
The product is a great size for our camper but it came in damaged on the bottom front really badly. Didn’t know how to send it back I couldn’t get it back in the box. Hope it doesn’t compromise the way it works.

It serves its purpose
I actually really like this freezer. It fits perfectly between the wall and my bar and it’s discreet enough where it’s not in the middle of the way and it’s very deep and it freezes very very well. I save all my breastmilk in there and extra food if it doesn’t fit in the freezer.

My product was damaged
My product was damaged but I couldn’t put back in box because the size. I didn’t want the problem of trying to pack it up. So, I just kept it. It works good but the dent is noticeable.

We’ll crap!
I was so excited about this deep freezer. It was gonna be like a little focal point in the kitchen to go against the wall. Although now I think I’m gonna hide in the garage because it looks like crap because it is dented and not one but two places. Looking at the reviews I should’ve checked because I noticed a lot of other ones are also damage so I would say this is a 6040 you might get a good freezer. I don’t even know if it works yet, but I will update the review after the next three hours.

Perfect size
This freezer is the perfect size for my needs. It’s reasonably priced and so far, works really well. I was amazed at how much it actually holds. It is NOT frost free so you do have to remove the frost yourself. It’s really simple and takes about an hour to thaw. I’m very happy with this purchase. Also, it is very energy efficient and surprisingly quiet.

I love it. It was a little something I needed to fit a certain size in my kitchen. The chest freezer is perfect and perfectly fit in the spot I could find. Not too big not too small. It works great. It’s energy efficient and compact. We are a big family so some of our food does not fit in the big refrigerator. Just needed an extra little more space. Especially when my grandaughters fly down from MN to stay for the Summer with their dad (my son). We have to stock separately food for then as well. Thank you!

Arrived damaged
Just unboxed the item and it is damaged on different parts. It is not static proof unlike a standard home appliance. The foot is metal and is not adjustable to level. It is devastatingly low standard before I even tried it

Stopped Working/Poor Customer Service: UPDATE
After many messages back and forth on the Amazon order page, I was sent a pre-paid return label for the freezer. Once I had confirmation of delivery, I contacted the seller, who confirmed that the unit had been received. I was awarded a refund within a few days.it took some work and patience, but I did receive the refund.The unit started off great. After a brief power outage, the freezer simply would not start again. I lost everything in the freezer.Emails with customer service began on Oct. 7; situation still not resolved 3 weeks later. I’ve been shuttled between agents and companies. Both asked for a video of the non-functioning freezer for their engineers to analyze. I started out hoping for a replacement and now just want a refund.

It has been on for a couple of days and works as it should. I thought the price was fantastic. The manufacture gets the best rating I can give for packaging. Energy label also stated that it uses $26.00 a year in electricity. It fits nicely in a small space. Plenty of room inside for what I need.
