    It works

It does work but you get what you pay for , it’s not good quality but I didn’t want to spend 200 or more for something that had speaker and a subwoofer outputs , blue tooth works but not as loud as radio . It’s loud enough for my work shop but would like to upgrade sometime

I wanted sooo much to like this…

I mean, first off… the price! Just for that alone I wanted this to meet our needs. I’m looking to replace a receiver in a room that’s seldom used where my previous receiver has quit working.Second… it plays USB files and/or Bluetooth (though other reviews state the BT range is rather poor).Third… as I said previously, it’s for a room seldom used so I don’t need super top-end stuff.Unfortunately, while the room is seldom used I *do* want whatever I put in there to be mildly functional. Sadly, this device really isn’t. To wit:1) As others have stated, the remote control… egads. I’ve seen bigger postage stamps. It *does* work, but so can a 1976 Ford Pinto. Doesn’t mean I want one.2) The volume. This is the best part. Unless the actual knob volume is turned mostly all the way up, the remote control’s volume is pointless. If you have the master volume at, let’s say, 2… using the remote control to turn the volume up does nothing to make it louder. If you turn the master volume ALL the way up, then using the remote to turn it down works. So what, big deal you say, right? Just turn the master volume all the way up and leave it there! But… once you turn the device off, it resets so the next time you turn it on it’s full-blast and hopefully your speakers (and ears) can handle it. haha3) Speaking of remotes, the power off button isn’t really “off.” It’s just stand-by, you have to physically flip the switch on the receiver to truly turn it off. Which, trust me, you’ll want to do… because when you have to turn the volume all the way up on it to make the remote’s volume functional… there’s a HUMMMMMM from your speakers that would wake the dead.4) As I stated earlier, I wanted this for a seldom used room and to play USB files. So I copied all 13,935 MP3 files I have onto a thumb drive. And I can state that *this* feature on the receiver works just fine.I put the thumb drive in and after a few moments it started playing. I selected “random” and it did that, too. Only one problem. The back button also randoms what the next song is going to be. hahaha…Let’s say you have as many songs as I do, and one in particular plays that you just LOVE and want to hear it again. Nope, not gonna happen. If you hit “back” on either the remote OR the receiver itself, it just randomly picks a new song. When this bad boy says “random” it ain’t kidding around, brother. haha5) All of my experiences I’m describing above happened within the span of about 15 minutes, and by that point I was already sighing and thinking that I’d probably be sending this thing back. And, unfortunately, that’s exactly what I intend to do. Between the volume wonkiness, horrible remote, hummmm in the speakers, and not even a simple “back” repeats the song when on random… I figured as seldom used as the room is, this thing would be even MORE seldom used. hahaNow… I don’t wanna end on a negative note, so one caveat: If you just want something to play music and is cheap, don’t plan on using it in a very complex manner… this thing would most likely get the job done. Say… some kind of background new-age music for your art gallery or something where you didn’t mind physically adjusting the volume once and then leaving it there all day while your snooty customers cross their arms and say the painting “speaks to them.”For that kind of application, I’d say you’re in business with this thing. Who knows, you may end up with the one I’m about to send back. haha

    Remote doesn’t control master volume

Love the sound, but the remote won’t affect the master volume, which makes it pretty worthless! Why even bother to have a remote if it can’t do the simplest thing? Their customer service responded this way: “The remote control only works for USB, RADIO, and MP3, not for Master Volume. You need to use the volume knob” Returning it

    Worth it!!!

Does satisfy all the needs I bought it for. Had never bought a receiver in my life. I got it for my garage and my brother Gibb 6 me sum pioneer speakers the prior tenant did leave 2 vintage speakers that are actually worth money but I wouldn’t selln them. They’re liquid cooled morantz (I think is the name I’ll try to add pics) they go so well with the pioneers my bro give me. I’ve only used Bluetooth on it but it’ll rock your world if you have any firepower speaker wise. Surprised me!!!! I walk my dog after work and I tested the distance one day. I was at least 2 blocks away from the garage and I could still hear it. Good enough for me I think it’s a great value!!!!!!!!!!

    Great Budget Unit!

This is a very effective and cheap solution for my surround sound system. I needed a receiver for my speakers and didn’t want to spend over $100. I could’ve gone with a used one but I thought I would give this one a chance, and am I glad I did! An amazing deal for the price! There is a great amount of adjustment to fine tune to your liking with this system! I do however have a few issues with the product, but none that are ground breaking. The first is, is that the inserts for the surround sound speakers on the back of the unit. The tabs that are supposed to keep the wires into the unit will spring out and are difficult to put back in. I was able to get it back together though. And a really minor thing, the usage of the remote. There are quite a few buttons on the remote that look like they should function, but they will not. For example, I cannot turn off the unit with the power button on the remote. It does nothing. Those issues aside, I really think this is a heck of a bang for your buck! If you don’t want to spend alot and yet get a really good sounding unit, go with this one! I highly recommend!

    Works good

This was an emergency purchase to replace an Onkyo amp that was serving as a pre amp to several powered speakers. I realize that isnt the intended purpose for this, (and wasnt the intended purpose for the Onkyo). This actually replaced 2 amplifiers, one for the speakers, and one for the subs, since this has separate controls for each.My only gripe is that at 0 volume, there is a bit of 60Hz hum from the speakers. The hum doesnt increase with volume, and could just turn down the speakers, but then wouldnt get full volume out of them.Other than the hum at low/no volume, the speakers sound VERY good when Pyles output is turned up.

An inexpensive receiver lacking in features

I decided to give this unit a try as a low cost alternative to the mainstream receiver brands. I also considered receivers from Sony, Pioneer and Marantz ranging in cost from $200 to $800. I could live without HDMI as long as I could get audio to the receiver using bluetooth. When I paired the receiver with my LG TV, the bluetooth profile only supported mono. I don’t know if this was Pyle’s doing or LG’s doing but it meant this receiver would not work for me. I tried scanning for FM stations and the unit found some, though I did not do a thorough job of checking how well it did because I was distracted with other issues. There is loud fan noise even when the receiver is in standby mode, and the only way to silence it is to turn off the main power pushbutton switch. When I the unit back on using the pushbutton switch, it comes on with a poorly tuned FM station at near full volume, having forgot all about my last source and volume settings. I found that the volume knob on the front of the unit only controls the front channels. Even if I was standing next to the unit, I had to dig for the remote to actually control the volume. There are separate knobs for center and surround volume levels but that means finding and changing three volume settings to get the thing under control. The sound quality was decent with a properly tuned station, but listening to TV was mono because of this unit’s apparent bluetooth limitations. When I reached out to Pyle about the issues I was having, they did apologize that I was having trouble, but the questions they asked were all about proof of purchase and they did not offer any clarification as to why I was experiencing these issues. The last thing I wanted was to wait for a replacement unit with the same limitations, so I returned the unit and resigned myself to spending more to get something I could actually live with.Pyle has a bit of work to do to make this unit a credible alternative to the more expensive options out there. For one thing, if you include a volume knob that is 5 times larger than all the other knobs, it ought to be master volume, not just two of five channels.

    Perfect for Home Entertainment System

You only need to connect your speakers to this amplifier to use it. There are many amazing features included with the amplifier. We chose this amplifier as a replacement after our old one broke. I can’t wait to start using it because it is so much more modern. You can play music from any method you like with this device because it supports Bluetooth and can be connected via USB, SD cards, an auxiliary cable, and other means as well. Also, the device has an antenna and an FM radio tuner built in because local radio stations are still in operation. The audio quality was flawless and in pristine condition. With the remote control, you may customize the amplifier’s volume, treble, and bass settings to suit your tastes. This is a terrific addition to your home entertainment system, reasonably priced, and well-made.

    Fantastic!

The media could not be loaded.

We needed a replacement receiver at work because our old one kept overheating. The same one would’ve been close to $400 so I decided to give this one a try and I’m so glad I did! I think it actually sounds better than it did before. It did take me a min and some googling to get the speaker wires attached but once I figured it out it was super easy. Definitely recon if you need a new receiver!

    Adequate Amp until it isn’t

Amp provides decent quality sound to all channels. With proper tuning only true audiophile would know it’s not a higher priced item.Although after a few months of use the left channel on my unit malfunctioned and when using volume knob I lose power to thst side and have to toggle the knob to regain sound through left channel. Pyle customer service responded quickly to my request, however to have the unit repaired it was estimated that I would be without the unit for 4 to 6 weeks. Instead of returning unit and having a new or even refurbed one shipped within a few days. 4 to 6 weeks is a long time to be without my tunes, not to mention having to remove then reinstall it. Bottom line unit is ok but warranty service not very consumer oriented.

    Nice little unit

This unit appears to be everything I needed. However, I do have one complaint. Every time you turn the amp on it comes on at a loud volume, regardless of where you had it set previously. Obviously, this is a major problem, and I can find no way of adjusting this. Customer service had no information for me.The only thing I’ve been able to do is to turn the unit on and adjust the volume BEFORE turning on any input device, like a TV, etc. This is a real pain.

Good value unit for the features provided

Limited channels left on my mixer, this has additional inputs RCA that give me a few more inputs. The sound quality is decent for FM, the antenna worked ok in my area, i purchased another antenna to get better reception.Bluetooth works fine, I am usually near the unit when using bluetooth. The 1/8″ input in the front worked out great to connect my laptop when I need to hear things from it. The LCD screen is easy to read. The FM station selection is a little annoying, you cannot punch in a station, it does a scan and saves any frequency it can lock into, including some that are not radio stations, just a lock on the frequency. You cannot punch in a station, hit scan fwd or back to get to the station you are looking for, if it has not locked into memory before, you need to move the antenna around and try to get it to lock. Instructions don’t give to much info. That said, the price for a 1u receiver is great. It handles a lot of my needs at a reasonable price. The speaker outs are banana plugs so I had to purchase an adapter for 1/4.” Has Bass and Treble adjustments plus two 1/4″ microphone inputs with individual gains. Great to talk over music, a presentation, etc. a very versatile unit. The volume knob works fine to me, no sudden jumps, as you move up or down you can feel a little click at each interval. There is a cool blue light around the front of the volume knob which I like but if computer power adapters that light up when plugged in annoys you, this may do the same. You can always put black tape to cover it if it bothers you that much.I recommend the unit, works for me to listen to FM station and have a convenient volume control + BT, additional inputs and SD Card and USB at this price, a solid unit.PS, purchased a used unit previously and it was missing parts and didn’t work as advertised, so there may be some quality control issues.

    Not what I expected

My main complaint about this receiver is the sub works off a separate dial independent of the volume dial. So when you adjust the volume if you want more or less bass you have to walk to the reciever and do it by hand as there is no button on the remote to adjust it. Making the remote volume control pretty much unless. Had I of known that before purchasing I wouldn’t have bought the unit. I am using it for a surround sound system in my garage for when I am working on stuff or watching a game or a race out there so I don’t really adjust it much but if I ordered this for my house I would have been extremely upset with it. The remote is pretty much worthless as far as I can tell, I have no idea what the power button is suppose to do cuz it doesn’t turn on or off when pressed. The sound quality and power of it seem good for the money. If you aren’t planning on using a sub with it you will prob be happy with it, but if you are I would recommend something else…

It’s has its limits, but it will meet my needs

My 25 year plus Pioneer surround sound stereo receiver/tuner finally died. Probably fuse related but I wasn’t about to diagnose. This Pyle unit had similar surround sound speaker wire inputs and the necessary RCA jacks to duplicate the 3 components I had for inputs: 1) CD player, 2) TV sound, and 3) an Alexa dot I use to stream music. The pros: I basically unplugged the speaker wires from the old unit (R, L, center channel, R rear and L rear) plugged them into the same ports on the new one and everything works. Did the same with the CD, TV and Alexa into the RCA jacks.Cons: you can’t adjust individual surround speaker volume, and there will be no “Dolby” surround. Basically the unit will just push the sound from the TV into all 5 speakers equally, so more like “a stereo” mode. Programming the FM tuner is not explained in the instructions. You can’t manually program a station; you can only scan and if it picks up a station it will save it. You can move the tuner manually using the CH+ and CH- on the remote. Once it programs the available channels after you scan, you can move through the channels using the >>| and |<< buttons on the remote.I got it to scan for channels using the >|| button on the unit which is to the right of the “Mode” button. All said, this will suit my needs. It got everything working again, with a few limitations, but it also didn’t break the bank. Most of the time I really only use this stereo to stream music on Pandora through the Alexa dot. But if I do want to play a CD or need louder sound when watching TV or a movie, this unit will work just fine.

The sound is good however I had read in the reveiw that someone had a problem with one of the chanels not working.I had the same problem on the unit I got,the left speaker is very low.It was several days before I noticed though because my surrond system made it difficult to notice since i was using it mostly for tv.However when i played my music i noticed the difference .

I bought two of them. One for my garage and one for at work. They both work great. If using Bluetooth you need to stay within 60 to 70 feet which is not really an issue.

Good amps for a home theater setup.

strait forward, simple setup into racked configuration.I bought 2 for a 2.1 setupone of these is used as a dedicated sub amp, the other is for the front channels. wont be using the bt feature as ive also purchased a pyle mixer PYD1964B.5 to be delivered at a later date. my current yamaha mixer presents an issue with signal strength to the sub amp. considering PLXR8 crossover as an additional solution.this is for a home recording and mixing setupthe amps were packed well and look great in my rig.**follow up**after a few months of ownership one of the amps burned out. Pyle sent me a label for a repair ticket and I shipped it off. Pyle offered an exchange unit which I thought was very cool. The big issue arose when I moved to another state after giving them the new address. The exchange unit delivered to my old address so I called them again. They suggested I have a friend or old neighbor go to the old address to intercept it which was not possible.Pyle then volunteered to send me another unit, the new one shipped right but was an amp 2 generations older.Pyle then notified me the repair was done and they were shipping it out. It had the old address too. I reached out to UPS for address change and intercept. UPS charged me for this change. TBD whether the repair did the job as Im waiting for it by the carrier.Overall Im still giving them a great rating as they really tried to take care of me. It seems like the departments I dealt with didnt communicate with each other and this caused issues.

    Good but not great

I’ve used a small Fosi amplifier for years and decided to switch to this Pyle unit to be able to control de balance. This unit worked to achieve control over the balance but every other aspetos inferior to the Fosi. This is a rack size while the equivalent Fosi is the size of a sandwich. Also the quality of the sound and amplification is significantly inferior to what I had before. The cherry of the cake is the bluetooth antena, very week and gives 10-15 less range to the Fosi I had before. In summary, I got the balance control I wanted but lost in sound quality, amplification, size, and Bluetooth range.

Bang for your buck if you set it and forget it

Quality sound and compact for the price. I use it to power two 100W Sony three way bookshelf speakers and the sub out goes to a 250W powered sub. I thought 200W was going to be moderate, but I was happily wrong. It can get really loud, but still comes through clear. The volume control can be frustrating. The main volume nob doesn’t control the sub out, so you have to manage that nob separately. One doesn’t effect the other. I work around this by setting both nobs to 25% and use the volume controls on my computer. I only use it with my computer, so this would probably be an issue for most. I don’t use the remote.I mounted it to a slanted server rack, and added a power supply, flat rack, and graphic equalizer. I got those items from Amazon too; minus the equalizer. I modified the rack so it could fit under my monitors. The compact size really helped with the limited space I’m working with.Overall it exceeded my expectations for what I planned on using it for.

Great sound, perfect for a simple 5.1 set-uo

I have recently being becoming more and more impress with Pyles. This is my second purchase with this brand and it hasn’t disappointed. I used this to connect and older Bose sound sound system and it works great.I think some of the issues people might experience is the same you would for any receiver of any kind. Always make sure you speakers match the output of the receiver. As long as your speakers match this output of this, it will have a nice sound.Don’t expect all of the surround sound setting you would get with a pioneer or Yamaha. But if your looking for a simple boost for your sound this is it.I used this and the Bose set up as computer speakers and it’s awesome!

    Great receiver for the money

This is a great receiver for the price. We’ve had ours for 3 years now and it hasn’t missed a beat. We use it outside in our patio by our pool. Have it hooked up to Alexa and stream music through it. People that are complaining should realize this isn’t a high end unit. What more do they want for $ 80?

    Great Budget Option

Ok, so I purchased this unit not expecting much. My ten year old Denon reciever got moved to the garage, and I planned on purchasing a new Denon reciever for the living room. I was looking around on Amazon and bought this unit just to see what $70 gets you, thinking its a waist of time and money. Not so! I was surprised how good it sounds paired with my Polk RTi A3 bookshelf speakers. Having said that I’m only using the reciever to Bluetooth stream HD audio. Power is more than enough to fill the room with quality music. Even at high volume im getting no distortion. I’ll still buy a new Denon reciever sometime, but after two months I’m enjoying music with this reciever.

Don’t let the cheap price frighten you.

So far am extremely pleasantly surprised with my PDA7BU Bluetooth Receiver. Actually I wasn’t expecting a lot for the price. But the PDA7BU so far has blown away my expectations. I have Polk Rti6 bookshelf speakers connected and the sound is totally awesome. I got the 5 channel 2.1 unit because I meant to add a powered subwoofer later. But the sound my Polk RTi6 bookshelf speakers are delivering connected to the PDA7BU Pyle Receiver is way to much for my bedroom so it’s gonna be hard to justify adding a subwoofer. I can’t crank it but about 1/4 before my ears starts being effected. Now I’m thinking like is too good to be true. I had given up on trying to repurpose my Polk Book shelf speakers speakers I originally had in a 5.1 surround sound setup. I couldn’t find a reasonable price surround sound receiver so I opted for a Polk 2.1 sound bar in my game room AV setup. This $70.00 dollar Pyle PDA7BU Receiver in my bedroom setup seems almost too good to be true so it’s scary. I added the additional insurance and I’m still under $100 dollars.I have brought new life back into my bookshelf Polk bookshelf speakers. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

    Perfect for what I needed

I wanted to hook up a Chromecast Audio so that I could use wired speakers on my deck, but not have to Bluetooth pair each time. This ended up being exactly what I needed. Sound is good, but I’m not being super picky for low volume outdoor music. I haven’t tried any of the other inputs yet, so I can only speak to the power and sound. The rack mount option is great too, as I’m slowly trying to organize our utility room.

    Very loud cooling fan

It does a very good with the amplification of all genres of music. The stereo is good. There is clarity with no noticeable distortion. It was very easy to set up.The cooling fan is VERY loud and obliterates and detracts greatly from quieter sounds and music. The Bluetooth comes on with a frighteningly loud noise. The remote does not turn the unit completely off. You have to manually adjust the master volume. The constant flashing on the screen is very annoying. There is no discernible difference with the EQ button. Wish there were a way to dim the screen. And there is no sleep functionality. Overall a very mediocre unit but it is cheap. Time will tell on durability.

    Not worth extra money

I already had the lower grade version so I figured what’s a few more dollars for an upgrade? Not worth it. Has a fan that runs all the time and it’s not quiet. Most annoying is when it connects to Bluetooth. Holy smokes is that tone loud and unnecessary! You cannot adjust the volume of the subwoofer separately than the other speakers.Just buy the lower grade version and you will be happy!I would return it but I have to have that particular sub output and the lower grade version does not have it.

    Great amp for the price

I was looking for a budget amp with decent sound. The sound on this amp has exceeded my expectations. At first I thought it sounded a little flat and the highs were harsh, but once it warmed up it started sounding much better, with a rounded, clear definition and no distortion at high volumes. I bought this amp to use for meditation sessions so the sound has to be clear. I’m happy with it. I use it with a pair of vintage Bose 301’s and for the money I paid it sounds great. I had no intention of using the Bluetooth, but now that I have it, I’m playing songs off my phone and desktop daily. The BT connection is easy with consistent connectivity, no random drops like you see on many budget sound products. I can switch between my phone and computer easily with no issues. So far I’m happy with this amp.

A Great Receiver for A Great Price

(second review) For the price, this amazing product is well worth the purchase. I like Pyle. I used a 5-disk changer for years; when it went out, I got this receiver to play songs in a continuous fashion. With the remote, a person can keep mp3 files in folders and change from folder to folder, leaving a single folder or all songs on repeat, and the remote has a pause button that works well. ‘If’ you are into singing with songs, especially with someone else, it may be a lot of fun for you. I never used the mic inputs, and the mp3 playback abilities took me a few days to figure, yet it worked great. I am into audio and song recording and usually will leave a folder of new tracks on repeat to consider what may be best to do with them or future experimental tracks. The bluetooth does connect well and there are other inputs, as seen in the product description. I did not take the time to register the item the first time I bought it six months ago and ‘mistakingly’ wired a four-speaker circuit that burned out a resistor and a capacitor within the receiver. My mistake and I do not recommend someone opening the enclosure without at least an intermediate knowledge of electronics – capacitors that store over 24 volts are potentially lethal and a life risk should not be taken lightly. That being said, the receiver worked so well during its first time around that I ordered the same product and am joyous that it was still available. If it had a record to mp3 function I would consider the PDA7BU even more impossible to surpass with what I could find on the market, especially with the dual mic inputs that have an echo knob. I also recommend the Dual speakers that are usually showed at the bottom of the Amazon product page along with the banana plugs and thick-gauge speaker wire. It is fun to assemble – the larger of the two options of the dual speakers present a deep boom totally worth the money, even when turned down low. I did not opt for the subwoofer and was not tempted too; if you get the Dual speakers, notice the ‘label’ on the front can be adjusted to vertical or horizontal, they can be laid on a shelf or mounted well in otherwise fashion. I totally appreciate a product with that much ability for its cost and simplicity. Do not let it frustrate that the flashdrive will only play mp3s from a drive and is not a ‘decoder,’ if the term is close. As in, if you have a pedometer that plays mp3s and can communicate with a usb cable the receiver will not play mp3s by selection of the songs from a player. The inputs can receive audio as described in the product description – it worked fine with a 5-disk changer input into female rca ports. If you plan to hook up more than two speakers with it, which I really see no point in, be sure to contact Pyle and confirm the manner of installation before hand for safety and durability reasons. It is a sleek receiver, thin and able to be mounted in a sturdy fashion with the metal brackets that come with the device. There are many receivers; I chose this one twice. 🙂 Thank you to Pyle, and get one if you can to else. The one drawback, short not being able to record or having a headphone/aux out is the bright display not being able to be dimmed. Do not look at it for long amounts of time within under six feet or so – there is nothing wrong with using ‘matte’ tape (the ‘dull, not see-through-shiny-Christmas-wrapping-tape-yet-still-see-through-and-common-tape’) on the front of the led screen (as one can do with a common led bulb) to have a less detrimental display. There is also nothing wrong with painting a spot on the top of the remote with white-out and putting a piece of tape on top of it in order to see the orientation of the remote quickly within dim lighting (worked well for me). If you purchase this product, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did; I had to make do without it for a few weeks. With one flash drive, I can select from at least 500 songs; there is not much of a reason to get a flash drive with more than 8 or 16 gigs. I recommend ScanDisk flash drives Only; Do not format the flash drive if you opt for that route. Over all, the PDA7BU is my favorite home audio receiver.(first review)Shopping to replace a 5-disk changer took me months. I found a 3-disk changer and it went out in 40 days, so I got a 5-disk that was the changer only (no speakers). Of course, I would also need an amp and speakers, so I shopped on Amazon extensively for a good deal on a good one and found what I was looking for. It is great for hooking up a CD player, Bluetooth, and rca in/TV; I use it mostly for playing mp3s. It does well to play from a flash drive with mp3s in folders and can be left on repeat. For the price, I simply cannot complain and wonder if anything else could have compared. The speakers I got with it hit hard enough,(Dual Electronics: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NX5U/)even though I keep it turned down. The remote has pause, volume, and other controls for radio and mp3. This is an awesome product and I have appreciated its abilities. Thank you Pyle and Amazon.

Good value for the price, would be great with a few more features

Overall, the product does what I want from it, which is to serve as a rackmount amplifier for music and movies in my office separate from my main studio monitors. Overall, it functions completely adequately for the price, and the sound is very good with my existing bookshelf speakers and subwoofer. The remote is ok, but not all buttons appear to have a use (e.g., the red button does not actually power down the unit, which has a hard switch on the front). Nonetheless, it does give you a volume override to the main knob, and the ability to cycle through radio stations and switch modes to bluetooth. I don’t really use the remote, but I’m generally sitting at arm’s reach from the unit.I have two main quibbles: 1) the lack of an optical input. Given that many products these days no longer bother to include RCA outs, this a potentially huge inconvenience. 2) the subwoofer volume is totally independent, rather than set as a relative setting to main volume. This means that you must always adjust two volumes. This is especially annoying because of the lack of a quick override mute feature, which would at least give a quick cut of all sound. Instead, I roll down the main volume when I get a phone call and then just have loud rumbling. I’ll get used to this and can live with it, but my last amplifier rolled SW along with main volume, which makes more sense, since I also have a volume control on the subwoofer itself.Neither of these issues is annoying enough for me to return this, and I haven’t found another rackmount product that serves my purpose. I definitely value the space saved over finding something that doesn’t have those two issues, and getting something for under $100 was a definite bargain. I haven’t tried using the SD or USB inputs, which are not particularly useful for me. Nor have I tried the microphone inputs, which are not particularly necessary for me, but may be nice for some individuals that want an karaoke setup on the cheap. One other note: the included FM antenna is just a thin wire. It was totally acceptable, but for under $10 you can add a much better antenna and get far superior sound. I really wasn’t looking for an FM tuner when I was searching for this product, but it’s actually been a nice additional benefit in my office to use, so I’m pleased with that feature.

    Great Bluetooth amp.

My old receiver in my shop died and it did not have Bluetooth anyway. This Pyle amp fit the bill perfectly as I have a 12” powered sub out there and once getting the correct cord to hook it up is now rocking. I have seen some complaints about the sub volume being separate but that has not been an issue with me as I am standing right there anyway when I turn it on and setting the sub separately is no big deal. Besides, sometimes I just want some background noise without the bass drops and having a separate volume for the sub makes that easy. I did have to get some new bookshelf speakers though as the ones I were using just could not handle the power of this Pyle and were ancient anyway. Now it’s rocking out there for less than $150.00 bucks for this amp and new speakers, sub not included. The Bluetooth connects instantly with my I phone. The remote is the weak link in the package as mine just plain ol doesn’t work but I don’t care. The Mica MB42 speakers are perfect with this amp and sound amazing for a shop.

    Great value

Just got this for my room upstairs to listen to my collection of classical symphony records. Was a good price point for me and it has connections for four speakers. Was not sure if I would have to buy a turntable pre amp because it does not have a ground connection, but it sounds great without one but depending on your setup it would be advisable to get one.

Very poor quality control ! would not recommend!

I would just like to say to start this off that I have purchased many pile products in the past which have had absolutely no problems whatsoever sound quality was great the actual quality was great and it wasn’t as people say a piece of crap or a pile of crap. My experience this time was not so good. Upon arrival the package was completely fine I opened it up and the RCA connector for one of the inputs was completely hanging out of the device not that this is a deal-breaker so I went and hooked it all up to my machine used a different input and found that the subwoofer port did not work at all. After testing subwoofer on a different system it works fine so that told me that the port was no good once everything was all set up all speakers were hooked up and in place I tested it out and if this is 200 Watts I’ll donate my kidneys there is no way this is 200 Watts I have had 50 watt amplifiers that have more power than this furthermore the signal-to-noise ratio was very high as there was a clear hum in the unit after I noticed this I unhooked everything completely put it back in the packaging and is being sent back for a total refund. Keep in mind this is not actual surround sound even though it does have rear end center speaker separately this is nothing more then a poor attempt at making a surround sound receiver. Although it cost a lot more than this one did I will more than likely be purchasing a Bose unit because of the quality factor and it goes through rigorous testing prior to release this did not have any quality control stamps on it anywhere it looked like 1980s quality. I would not recommend buying this as you will be dissatisfied now if this is used as a karaoke head without amplification this may actually work pretty decently for you but keep in mind you will need an amplifier to use this device. Now as for the positive factors of it the Bluetooth work really really well very easy to set up however when you turn the main power switch off you had to reset up the Bluetooth. The FM stereo in it worked absolutely fine without any issues it did have equalization functions built into it I believe there was 7 some of them sound okay some of them not. Overall I’m giving this a 2-star rating because primarily due to the quality and lack of quality control on this actual unit had there been more quality control or any quality control they would have caught the simplest of problems with this unit and not wasted my time. I hope this review helps clarify any misinformation that may be out there in regards to this actual unit.

    Cooling fan is really loud

The other reviews were accurate in describing the amp so I won’t repeat the same comments.Amp worked well for my application, with 2 issues:The cooling fan is LOUD. it turns on after a few minutes and stays running continuously afterwards. It is distracting unless you have the volume cranked way up.In addition, if you use the remote to turn the amp off, the fan continues running.Second issue is with the line out . It’s level is controlled with the volume knob instead of being fixed. This works well if you are controlling another amp with it, but is useless if you are trying to hook it up to a recording device or an amp which has it’s own volume control.

Amp up your music with audio amplifier

The media could not be loaded.

I recently purchased this Pyle amplifier and I’m absolutely loving it! The setup was incredibly simple – all I had to do was connect my home speakers, and I was ready to go.The amplifier has an impressive range of features, which make it great value for money. It is compatible with Bluetooth devices and can also be connected via AUX, USB, and SD cards. This makes it super easy to stream music from any device. Additionally, there’s a built-in FM radio tuner with an antenna for access to local radio stations. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a 1/4″ audio/microphone input for connecting microphones or other instruments. The sound quality is fantastic – loud and clear with no distortion. The sound is adjustable using the bass, treble, and volume controls on the amplifier itself or with the included remote control. It really brings out the best sound my music collection has to offer!BONUS – Whether you’re streaming from your smartphone or listening to your favorite radio station, the Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Audio Amplifier will take your listening experience to the next level!

Great for playing MP3s on old speakers.

I needed something to play my MP3 collection through my old stereo speakers and after some research I opted for this. I mostly found that lower priced products don’t support playing MP3 files in shuffle (random) mode and so with that in mind, I chose this economical solution for my use. I figured I could always just use an app to “randomize” the order of my music files to achieve my desires. I was pleasantly surprised for several reasons:First, this was really solid and well built. It was easy to just plug in my old Polk Audio speakers and start playing. The music coming out of these speakers is just great.Secondly, the input for both a USB and SD drive worked out great for me because I could put my collection of classical music on one, and my Rock/Pop music on the other. I just toggle the mode to get from one to the other.Third, I was pleased to see that I could indeed play my music in “random” mode. Once you select an MP3 input mode (USB for SD), you can toggle options on the LCD display to choose how you want the songs to be played (e.g., in order, random, repeat, etc.). The remote is simple, but works fine.I haven’t and don’t plan to use the other features, but I assume that they work pretty well too. I’m really happy that I’m getting use out of my 40+ year old speakers and that they still sound great.
