liquid heavy smoothies

pretty intuitive features, but there is an included led light display that affirms certain actions. turning it on, the green light comes on, double press for a yellow light and now the device is in pulse mode. this is a thoughtful feature on a device this size. and while this prefers a liquid rich smoothie, it did pulse through my first stocked cup of various fruits and almond milk. i *did* have to turn it sideways a couple times for it to work through the density of that fruit. that was more on me than the machine, but just a head’s up, if you enjoy a really thick smoothie, this may not be for you. however! i really do enjoy a well bodied liquid dense smoothie, i just miscalculated and felt like there was no turning back now. which…. is maybe because of how the cup sits on the base, may be because the ingredients were gonna be crazy to tend to outside of the cup, or may have just been the trial by fire i was intending all along. either way, it did eventually work! and now i’m better aware of the boundaries of its function. it’s a pretty nifty machine. i did end up taking it off the charger from impatience, so the battery life is still debatable, but i think under the right conditions it will perform exactly as it’s intended to. it will blink red when needing to be charged. it’s not hard to clean, but given the base cannot be submersed in water, make sure to inspect the blade rim after running the cup with soap and water. the way the cup screws into the base makes the rim vulnerable to lodged particles. didn’t expect the lights, i must have missed that in the ad, but i can’t say i’m totally mad about it either. so far, so good

Easy to use
We used frozen strawberries, for a smoothie, in this and it pulverized them just fine. Cleaning by swishing water in it worked well–it cleaned the blades perfectly fine. There are so many options to be able to charge this, including using a portable battery. Charging was very quick. It’s easy to see it charging as it lights up around the base and when they are all lit up green, it is fully charged. If the container is not correctly in the base, it doesn’t light up, so this helps you see visually that you’ve done it correctly.

Hmmm
I like it enough, but don’t love it and don’t expect it to last. It’s definitely sensitive to making sure the bottom is on completely tight and if it isn’t, then you get red lights flashing and it won’t blend. It makes sense, but I consider it a design flaw. The bottom should be permanent and everything should be added from the top so there won’t be any leaks. It’s really weird. It’s made the exact opposite of most standard blenders. When you’re detaching the blade, you have to turn it upside down and attach another flat bottom to enjoy your beverage. It’s basically a cylinder with openings on both ends. One to attach the bottom, and another to attach the mouthpiece. Finally, the charging base is attached to the blade. They say it can get wet, but isn’t immersible. Because of this, you can’t let anything dry on that blade or you’re going to have a really hard time getting it off. I think the continuous introduction of water from washing will eventually lead to the unit becoming inoperable. I wouldn’t purchase this blender again.

Really cool little blender that converts to a drink cup
You can throw your fruits and veggies into this little blender and whip up a smoothie in just seconds, then simply screw the blender part off the bottom, screw on a cap instead and voila, it’s a drink cup with a sealing pop up lid. Pretty good idea. The USB recharge feature is also a huge plus because you can take it camping or on a picnic etc and still have a fresh smoothie or shake, even without electricity. When the power button is pressed colored LED lights come on around the base of the cup which look pretty and also tells you that it’s ready to go. The carry strap is very heavy made and can be used for securing to a belt or even a bicycle for easy carry.

Good Little Portable Blender
This is a good, little portable blender that I keep at my desk. I like to use it to blend berries and other fruit for a quick little pick me up. Also good when you add any powder into the mix, to make sure it’s thoroughly mixed. Just be careful with the blades when cleaning.

Small and compact
This is a nice small and compact blender and the power is good – great for travel EXCEPT that the motor is connected to the cup which means you can’t throw it in the dishwasher and requires hand washing. That’s the biggest drawback for me.

Pros: 20 oz size, affordable, convenient, light indicators show when fully charged, lights indicate when base is being removed, lights indicate when blended, safety latches on top to prevent spills and leaks, easy to hold with diamond pattern textured sides, easy to charge with USB.Cons: The lid latch is under spout so it’s under lip when drinking – would prefer it be on other side of lid, the spout cover does not fold back flat so it can bump forehead when drinking from spout. Both these things can be avoided with a long straw. Lastly, there is an attached wrist strap which I think is unnecessary, I did discover just as I wrote this that it can be removed.For the price and convenience and features, I would recommend this mixer.

My main complaint is that the seal requires a good bit of strength unless you wanna have a slow steady leak.It is strong enough to chop frozen berries. It makes a nice smoothie. It cleans easy, it charges easy.

This is a great product if you do a couple of things when blending.1. Don’t add too much ice… it bogs down and won’t blend2. Don’t add too much frozen fruits/foods… bogs down won’t blend3. Don’t skimp on the liquid.If you use chipped ice with plenty of liquid and fresh not frozen fruit, it work’s fantastic.I would have liked it better if it could’ve handled more ice, but once adjustments were made it does the job.

Works better than I thought it would
I drink a lot of smoothies and this little machine works great for that and its easy for you to take on the go. The one thing to notice is that the picture shows two containers and it only comes with one. It comes with a usb cable to charge and it didnt take too long to charge and so far I have gotten 4 smoothies out of it and the battery is still full. I wouldnt put anything really thick or hard in this but for your standard protein shakes and smoothies, this is perfect!

Works great for smoothies
This has worked well for us making fruit smoothies from fresh and frozen fruit. Clean up is not too bad. The power of the blender is not as high as my plug in blender but it’s plenty for everything we have tried it on so far. Being portable is a nice feature but probably wouldn’t use it much where it was helpful.It would be great to make mixed frozen drinks at the beach but we haven’t tried that yet.

Very weak battery
It’s small and portable. Blends well enough.I didn’t mind the small cup size. The problem is the battery. I got maybe one clean/rinse cycle and two smoothies to a charge. I’m not even blending fruit. Just milk and iso whey powder. It’s advertised as 15-20 uses per charge. There’s no way that’s happening. If you plug it in after every use it might be alright. Just save your money and buy a better unit. Pass on this.

Worked great-until it didnt
This was great for my basic protein shakes. Mixed up nice and wasnt too strong to turn my shakes into undrinkable foam. If ya know….BUT! After less than a month it stopped taking a full charge and wouldn’t turn on at all when liquid was poured in.Thank god Amazon took it back and I got a refund. I do not recommend this at all!

Blends Whatever You Put In
This little blender packs quite a decent amount of power in such a small package. I have been using this to make my daily breakfast before work. Usually have a banana, milk, protein powder and peanut butter all packed into the cup. I blend it the night before, put it in the fridge, pull it out the next morning (it gets thick overnight) and blend it again. Everything is completely blended every time! The only thing I would like to see is for the cup to be a little bit bigger but other than that, this blender is great! I would recommend this blender to anyone who wants a personal blender.

Great for on the go!
This is mobile, easy to clean and great for quick blended drinks! I like that is rechargeable and has a decent amount of power, just don’t go crazy with the ice. The blades are very sharp and it does not turn on if it is not completely sealed. I like this blender for when I am on the go and need to prepare a quick smoothie.

The Little Blender That Couldn’t
The idea for this appliance was exciting, but sadly it doesn’t live up to any expectations I had for it. I made a few smoothies with it using light produce (peeled and pre-sliced rockit apples for one and peeled/separated tangerine slices with the other) that had some yogurt, milk, and honey inside – very light type of smoothies which you would expect to easily be blended. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.The fruit was in hefty, barely touched chunks. The liquids blended easily, but I could’ve done that with a spoon. I would expect a blender to…well…BLEND. It’s MADE for smoothies and shakes and it literally couldn’t even slice up a soft, pre-peeled apple or the tender flesh of tangerine slices. I would prefer to drink my smoothies rather than have to chew the large cubes/blobs left over of the fruit. I might as well have just eaten the fruit whole by itself!Worse is the charge. No matter whether you charge it for the minimum time or far beyond the full charge it has only barely enough battery for one, MAYBE two blend cycles. If you’re lucky, you can use the cleaning cycle (if it holds enough charge). The cleaning cycle also doesn’t do as advertised. It swishes the water around but everything along the edges and rubber inside still gets coated with fruit smoothie water and still needs to be very tenderly wiped to avoid getting yourself cut. Might as well not try using the water blending at all since it can’t even clean it.And putting everything in upside down, twisting it on, and turning it right side up just makes all the ingredients tend to stick to the top of the device. With stickier ingredients, gravity will certainly NOT be your friend.Honestly, I’m very dissatisfied with this product. A cheap larger blender would do the job of this and more every time.

Not convenient.
Pros: Very powerful, great little blender. Great cup size for most anything you would need this for. Do like that you can activate it, sit it down and do other prep and it will automatically time out and shut off at what seems like just the right amount of time.Cons: Difficult to clean. Inconvenient at best to get adequately cleaned. If you were to use this and not clean it immediately then you’ll struggle even more. I will say the instructions tell you to fill the cup and attach it to clean the blades, which works but you still can’t clean the rubber seal very well without risking cuts. You obviously cannot risk getting the base wet under the faucet or in a dishwasher. Also, once clean it is awkward to turn upside down to let drain/dry to keep threads and gasket clean.For a blender this size I would like convenience and ease of use – the cleaning cancelled the positives.

Blender is true to the item description plus pictures are right on for size and colors.Perfect size, it can fit into almost any bag & purse except for the really tiny hand bags/purses.Works great! Battery life: mine hasn’t died yet and it’s been almost a month. If you use it everyday, 1-3 times a day then you’ll have to charge it about every day or so. Easy to push button for on/off control, the blades are sharp and will slush any sized ice that fits. The pulse function works pretty good for slushing ice!

This little blender is good when you don’t have a lot to blend, it’s just great for making smoothies for my husband and myself. It’s strong enough to crush ice and frozen fruit. Clean up is very simple just add a few drops of dish detergent and some water and turn it on then rinse it out. Good buy.

Incredible Power
Great blending in a portable unit with lots of features and a cute LED lighting effect. The flip top locks into position with a safety latch so you can unscrew the upper and attach a provided bottom to turn it into a portable drinking vessel. That’s the thing on the left side of the product pic and they show the drinking mode configuration on the right. A USB C port is on the side for charging and my unit came charged so I put it to the test right away with a Strawberry Shortcake smoothie. Thumbs up!

Confusing..
OK after I read all the instructions it says to align the little magnet on the cup with the switch on the base…I had to take off and put back on the jar or cup at least 12 times to get them to align otherwise it won’t start. I don’t know if there is a trick to this that I’m missing But there is no marking on the cup on where to place it on the base to start the twisting process to end up with that magnet line with the switch on the base! Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that you need to match these up in order for to start. On the cup there is this tiny little sticker that tells you the info !! After Getting frustrated After a few tries I finally got it..When it was running with the stuff inside to blend there was a lot of power with it. A blended frozen strawberries and milk very well and very quick. I will try again to see if I can get it to align, So I can make another treat…and if it gets frustrating again I’m gonna throw it out the window !

It has no problem blending powder, water, milk, and soft fruit like strawberries.I only have two problems:First, the container size is small. It holds 420mL (14.2 oz), which is just shy of the 16 or 20 oz sizes that many drinks come in. Even if this held 500ml (16.9 oz) that would be better. Right now, my drinks come up to the very top of the container. It still blends well, so I don’t think the extra size would impact the operation.Second, the way the container screws into the blender base means it’s smaller in diameter at the top, rather than wider like a cup or glass. There is a corner under the lip (I assume to maximize space in the jar) but that means it’s hard to drink or pour the last few sips out of the bottom of the container.On the other hand, it charges quickly with the included USB cord, blends well, and it portable. Overall a very nice little blender, even if it’s not quite as large as I would like.

Great little blender
I got this blender to try some powdered protein powder with my daughter as a supplement as she sometimes has problems eating and needs some extra food options. Sometimes the powdered supplements don’t mix properly. I do not know if the protein border mixed good or not. It looked fine to me but she did not like it. I did however try the blender in some other ways and I find it very convenient and will continue to use it and am sure I will find other ways to use it as time goes on. Just not the way I meant to use it in the first place. I love crushed I and though I assume this blender is not meant to blend I decided to try it. So I put some water in the cup and added some fridge crushed ice (and for those of us who like crushed ice know it’s not true crushed ice). I then blended. I had to shake the bender when it got stuck here and there. When it looked done I poured it into a cup ( I am not using the “cup” portion of the blender- it leaves the blades exposed and in my opinion is not safe. I only leave the blades exposed when the blender is drying and then I cover it loosely with the cap for safety). Most of the ice and water created a slush. It was delicious. There were some larger pieces of ice mixed in that did not blend but for a small blender that I did not think would blend ice at all it did a fairly good job. Next trial I did was to blend bread. Yes bread. I make meatloaf and we tear up 4 to 6 slices of bread for meatloaf. My kids are usually my go to for this but I have discovered that blenders do this nicely. With a full size blender it requires a bit of finagling and you have to turn off the blender and use a spoon to push the bread back down into the blades a couple of times. With this little blender took a slice of bread a time and broke it into 4 parts and place it into the blender. Turned on the blender and then gave a gentle shake any time the bread got stuck. Or just shook gently as it blended the whole time. Either/or. It worked great. I’ll find many other uses for this blender as time goes on. Being able to just pick it up and use it makes it so convenient.
