A REAL REVIEW
Most reviews tell you about packaging and not truly tell you about the product. This kettle is a very good investment. It comes with a filter that attaches on the inside near the spout. It has various options to choose for specific teas; for example, green, white, oolong, black and herbal. Once the temperature reaches boiling (212 F), it knocks off. There is an option to hold the temp if you are not ready yet to pour up a cup. It takes only a few minutes for the temp to reach boiling. I clean by mixing water and vinegar by heating. You can’t place tea bags on the inside of the kettle.

I have always loved tea, but recently started drinking a lot more black and herbal teas. The temperature settings really do make a difference to the flavor. Never mind the cutesy kettles out there, this one has all the features of a good product.

Love it
I LOVE this kettle, and use it so much more than I thought. It makes warming water for baby formula simple – and was the main reason I bought it. Turns out having a kettle you can set to a specific temperature is really convenient and I use for coffee, tea, as well as baking bread, where the water needs to be around 100 degrees. We rely on it so much we now take it with us when we travel to visit family.

To put it simply…it’s the best!
I drink hot tea every single day…NOW! I do t know what I ever did without this. I love this Ninja pot!! It brings the water to the perfect temperature for me to make black Chai tea! It also boils water very quickly! I even use it to boil water for pasta, becz it’s quicker than waiting on the water to boil on the stove top! This thing is awesome!

Thanks to Ninja I have hot water down to a T!
My last kettle died last spring. I have been searching, researching and price comparing for months. I am glad I waited to purchase this Ninja kettle. My boys are huge fans of tea and I love this has temperature control to allow them to enjoy their tea at the optimal temperature. With the weather turning cooler, it has temperature just right for hot chocolate and coffee. And for when we need to quick start some noodles? A boil setting. Simple with just enough flexibility to make everyone happy.

Love this thing
We bought this for the different varieties of tea we drink, and it has not disappointed. It’s also stunning to look at, and is extremely easy to clean when needed. The temperature reaches its set point very quickly and has the option to hold that temp for 30 minutes. Overall it’s very recommended.

Why did I wait so long to go electric?
Seems that every stove top kettle rusts unless you spend $200+ on one. So, after trying to find a reasonably priced, aesthetically pleasing one that doesn’t have issues or rust, I gave up. The reviews for this kettle were great so, I pulled the trigger. I couldn’t be happier that I did. It is super easy to set up, boils consistently, looks great and it’s easy to clean. I like that I’ve opened up more space on my stove because I can set this kettle on a table in the kitchen nook. I like this kettle so much, I bought one for my Dad for his birthday. The only thing I don’t get is why the BLUE one is more expensive than the GREY one. They are the same thing but different color.

Great. Heats water, as advertised. Only downside is that it beeps when you start it or when it’s done. If you’re trying to heat water early in the morning for your coffee addiction while your spouse and baby sleep that may be an issue for you. Still works great. Maybe I’ll find the speaker and break it.

Great electric kettle, but frustrating precision temp mechanism
This thing is almost perfect, but it has one glaring flaw. When you set it to any temperature besides boiling, the unit keeps shutting off power around 10-5 degrees before it hits it and just keeps slowly turning off and on as it tries to edge just barely to the desired temperature. I get that it’s trying to prevent it from blowing past the desired temp, but it makes it take sooo much longer and it’s sooo frustrating watching it inch closer and closer to the desired temp. I’ve had other units that shut off when it reaches the temp, and then it usually only warms up 1-2 degrees past that, and that’s FINE!

Amazing Electric Kettle
My wife is an avid tea and coffee drinker, so this only made sense. Nice temperature settings
Love this kettle! I drink matcha just about every day and it boils the water to the perfect temperature each time. It also has a little beep, which signals when the water is to temperature.I like the fact that there is a temperature sensor which tells you what temperature the water is that is in the kettle.

Works really fast, watch the sides when it’s done heating
I really like all the different presets this pot has. My old one didn’t have that many. I just made 2 pots of French Press coffee and it was wonderful! I haven’t had it long, so this may need updated in the future. I’m not seeing any leaks, electronics are working as they should. The only thing you might want to watch out for is the side of the pot when it’s done heading. I had a pot with a plastic cover and insulation underneath, that was cool enough to touch. I can touch the side of the Ninja, but it’s definitely a lot hotter than my old pot. I have Psoriatic Arthritis in my hands and I used to use both hands to pick the pot up. I’ll just have to use a pot holder or towel to assist if needed. Great so far!

OUTSTANDING KETTLE
Fill the kettle and place on stand, push two buttons and you will have boiling water BEFORE you measure out your tea or coffee! It’s fast, it’s beautiful,it has great features. There is nothing I’ve found to complain of. I’ve read all the negative reviews and find most ridiculous-like the lady who got burnt? Imagine that, a kettle full of boiling water that is hot? And one of rust? rust on stainless steel? I don’t think so. It is expensive, but I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. And I will be giving a couple for Christmas presents. Would also make a wonderful wedding present. It is also very attractive I’m leaving mine out on the counter. The presets are also nice features=10 degree increments from 175 to boiling and then it will hold any of those temps for a halfhour. I’ve been happy with every Ninja product I’ve had and this kettle is no exception.

It’s comfortable and easy on the wrist to pick up and pourWater heats smoothly and quickly without bellowing out a stream of vapor into the air! Did not know that possibility existed!It holds the temperature selected for 30 minutes.It’s nice to have the digital selections on the heating element in a row instead of pressing repeatedly to scroll through a menu on a handle like my last kettle.Having a lighted water level window is genius!I really am enjoying using this and I think a few people are getting one for Christmas!Buy it! You will appreciate this super functional appliance.

Best kettle ever
Tons of preset temperatures plus the ability to manually adjust the temperature makes this my favorite electric kettle. It heats quickly, and since it can hold the water’s temp for a half hour, I don’t have to be right there or risk water that’s too cool. The only downside is that it’s difficult to empty ut completely because there’s a lip, so a little water stays in it after you’re done.

Love my new electric kettle
I debated about getting an electric kettle because I’m a big tea drinker, and I almost purchased the Cuisinart kettle because of the good reviews, but then I stumbled upon the Ninja. I love it! It looks very stylish, heats the water up fast, is easy to handle and pour, and the sides aren’t hot to the touch. I also like the lighted water level gauge on the kettle. I did notice it takes a few seconds for the water level gauge to register the water as it’s going into the kettle. So you may end up with a little more water in the kettle than you anticipated since there is a slight lag. It looks cool but it’s not something I really use. I measure the water level in the kettle the way mama and my grandma and my great grandma did- I look inside the kettle. One of the negative review points about the Cuisinart kettle was that the labeling on the kettle wears off. Since everything is labeled on the base plate, I don’t think it will be an issue with this kettle. I do also like the preset heating functions depending on the type of tea you are making. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the hold temp function only works if I shut the base plate off after heating my water and then turn it back on. Then it will hold the temp for 30 min if you press the hold temp button. I am happy with my purchase!

Dedicated Hot Water Kettle – Works Great. Must Be Hand Wiped Down To Clean.
This is a great product by Ninja. Be sure, however, that you know what you’re ordering.This is a dedicated hot water kettle and base. Neither the kettle nor the base can be used independently. They must be used together and are useless apart from one another. This is NOT an induction base and kettle – the kettle has a socket that must be seated in the base.What we really like :- The ease of picking a temperature and just letting the kettle and base do the work.- We love that we can choose the tea type and get the perfect temperature for that specific style of tea.- Using the boil setting, this is great for heating water for cup-a-soup or instant oatmeal- It has a button to hold the temperature, so you can have water at the ready for multiple cups of tea.- We like that we can manually set a temperature if we need too. Or, should we like our tea a little hotter than the accepted/pre-programmed standard, it’s very easy to change.- It has an auto shut off after 5 minutes.- The power cord wraps and stores perfectly under the heating base.- Like any other kettle, this one gets hot on the outside. We love that the lid has a “stay cool” area for closing the lid and a button for popping the lid openWhat we didn’t like :- This kettle and base can be used for nothing else. You cannot use the kettle on the stove top. The base cannot be used for warming anything else.- The kettle has a socket on the bottom that fits into the base, that socket should be kept DRY. Not an easy task. No washing at the sink or in a dishwasher.- The instructions for cleaning the kettle are to simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. This feels insufficient.- The lid pops open but cannot be completely removed.A few things to note:- This kettle can ONLY BE USED FOR WATER. Do not use to heat any other liquid. Do not use to steep your tea, or re-heat anything.- It has seven pre-set temperatures ( coffee (for instant coffee or pour over, do not make coffee in this kettle ), boil, green, white, oolong, black and herbal )- Modifying the temperature is very easy, just a matter of hitting a plus or minus button.- Ease of use is great. Awesome product!
This kettle works perfectly. It takes about 6 minutes to heat a full pot of room temp water to boiling. Because it’s insulated the water stays hot and heats up quicker the next time. Just the push of one button boils water and it shuts off automatically. I researched a while before settling on this one an I am so happy with my choice. Worth every penny!

Doesn’t Get Any Better Than Ninja
I have come to completely trust Ninja when it comes to kitchen products. Not only is this electric kettle less expensive than the previous one I had it has much better temperature control, I can see the water level from outside and it looks better. Now the kettle does get hot to the touch so if that is something to consider. That doesn’t bother me. It is also incredible easy to clean. The only slight negative? When you open the top sometimes condensation will slide down to the base. Not always. Minor. For the price it is incredible.

Works great but HOT
I did so much research looking for a kettle. I was looking for one that was metal but not hot to the touch. I must’ve gotten mixed up in my search, because this one is incredibly hot to the touch when in use. You might not think that’s a big deal, but I almost burned my thumb just from holding the handle the wrong way and resting my thumb on the kettle. And you definitely can’t hold the front of the kettle to steady your pour—not classy tea ceremony approved for sure.It heats up very fast. So far it works very good. I appreciate that it has multiple preset temperature settings, but it is annoying that they are presented as names of different drinks instead of the temperatures. I’m not really sure that the temperatures actually match the drinks either— some of them seem too hot for tea. You can manually adjust, thankfully. I like that the beep is not loud and that you can have it hold the temperature for 30 minutes. It’s great if you go to heat up the water but then get distracted, when you come back it’s just waiting for you.Overall, I like the features of this kettle. Even with my mistake regarding it being hot to the touch, I still like it enough to not bother returning it. Maybe if I did my research all over again I would find a better one, but it’s not worth it for me.

Love this kettle!!!
So I have had this Ninja electric kettle now for about a month or so and I absolutely LOVE this thing!! I had previously purchased a Hamilton Beach one that I really liked but it started smelling like burnt plastic and I discovered that the base was actually melting! I unplugged and threw it away bc I saw smoke coming up from the base. So I decided to try another brand and came across the Ninja. I had no idea they started making electric kettles..but owning several different Ninja products and really liking the quality and longevity of them (waffle maker and blender) I decided to purchase this and try it. I do agree with previous reviewers that the water level indicator is a little harder to see bc it’s located under the handle but other than that..this lil gem is spot on in the temp department. I tested it with my Thermapen just to see the accuracy of each temp choice and it is true to what the digital readings on it says it is!! I love that it really does heat up so fast as well. I don’t think you will regret your choice with this one if you buy it. Will have to see on longevity but as far as performance goes… I am extremely happy I spent a little more money and bought this kettle!! So in my limited amount of time as an owner of this one..I would definitely Recommend it!

If .
4 Stars only because the lid sticks, right after I opened it and then by the third time I used it it wouldn’t open at all. Needed a thin screw driver to help release it when pushing the button. Blue stainless color is beautiful! Love it. Customer service was great and sent a replacement in about a week’s time, but very disappointed that they sent plain stainless steel, not blue! It is nice but not as stunning. May try to contact them again about this. But the lid seems to open and close proprely..When I was using the original, everything else worked great. A little noisy as it comes to a boil but no more so than on the stove top and much faster. I do wish the keep warm feature would stay on for an hour or two instead of only a half hour. When you’re enjoying your tea by the cup or the pot you don’t drink it that quickly. I just start it over again so not a big deal., I guess.Pours nicely without dripping. I can see the water gauge just fine and like that it shows cup measurements as well as liters. I like the auto shut off because I get busy at work and would hate to leave it boiling dry. Highly recommend.

Love the stainless steel and the finish, less worry about breaking glass.f. Controls are on the base unit, less chance of water damage.Wish list- a programmable button for custom temperature setting.- water level LED turns on when the jar is replaced or when a button is pressed. Maybe a motion activated LED would be very helpful to see the water level.

Excellent kettle
Boils water in a jiffy. Your water will be boiling before you can get the ramen noodles out of the package. No kidding – a minute or less. And it does get superheated like water in the microwave which is very dangerous. You can also set it for lower temperatures – no guess work. Presets for various types of tea!

I love it, it quickly heats up water that matches your choice of tea, coffee, and oatmeal. The kettle makes a beautiful display on your kitchen countertop. I love the color and how thick and durable the material is. It quickly makes tea and coffee when you are in a rush in the morning because it automatically shuts off when it’s done. I love how the water is still hot in the kettle with in the 30 minutes period.

So far, we love it. The size, quickness to heat to exact temp, -hold the temp! and the subtle purr when heating is soothing in my opinion and the blue color is the perfect shade. I read that someone didn’t love the way their hand blocked the water level, I guess I can understand but my hand doesn’t block it, my husbands either and he is 6ft, I prefer to put it down and let it fill anyway, we have a filter on our sink. perfecto, go for it.

Well made and functional
Great price. I’ve been making tea for years. Primarily sencha , green and white tea. I would boil water and use a temperature gauge too get it right for each variety of tea. The Ninja tea kettle is great with the variety of set temperatures and also total variable control up until boiling at 212 degrees. Only had it for one day but so far very impressed. Durable stainless designed kettle and easy to see through water level.

Excellent , except why put the water meter on the inside of the handle?
Great. Replaced a Breville that we got as a gift ten years ago that finally died. My only complaint is that the Breville showed water on the side, half way away from the handle, and this is right next to where your hand grabs the handle. When you’re filling directly from a fridge water filter system it’s impossible to know if you’ve got only 2 cups of water due to the tilt. Was never an issue with the Breville. I just count to 12 and call it a day, currently.

Perfect
I’ve been avoiding getting one for a while with the mindset I can just boil a pot of water but this kettle is next level. Similar to using a Keurig to boil water it really motivates me to make tea daily. Main complaint would be cleaning the inside because you can’t air dry it to where the liquid drains out but otherwise everything from weight to size is fine by me.Also opt for the blue one because it is not nearly as blue as in the pictures.

Works but does NOT hold temp
Works and is pretty fast at heating up 2-3 cups at a time but takes significant time to do a full pot. The second it hits the temp you set it to, it immediately starts losing heat… fast. Ill have a pot hit 200 degrees and within 5 minutes of being hitting temp, it will now read 165. 35 degree difference in 5 minutes is insane temp loss. On top of that it does NOT hold temp at all. The light will turn on but it will NOT hold temps no matter what.

Light for fill quit working.
The light for the fill quit working so I can’t see how full it is very well and the temperature gauge now jumps from 206 to full boil. This happened a month after I got it. I wish the handle was higher in a curve as it is heavy when full and unwieldy.

Quiet, fast, broke
This had easy presets for different heats, heated very quickly and very quetly (much queiter than my old excellent Breville). Unfortunately the lid stopped opening (was getting stuck and obviously a manufacturing issue) so I returned it.

If you’re like me, you’re probably researching every single electric kettle on Amazon. I’ll save you a few hours and say, this is a perfect kettle. According to Amazon I viewed over 130+ electric kettles during my research. Each time I thought I found the right one, I’d read a comment about it rusting, or inconsistent water temperatures.At one point I discovered this Ninja kettle and despite the (somewhat) higher price than competitors, I decided it seemed to have all the features we need for brewing the perfect tea and coffee. According to three digital thermometers, this kettle heats to the exact temperature you set it for.The pre-set temperature options for various teas and coffee are a huge time saver. Just push one button and you’ve got the exact heat you need for a perfect cup. I’ve been trying to learn how to brew a pour-over coffee and now I can’t use temperature as an excuse for why my coffee doesn’t taste right.In summary, I’m so glad I spent just a little more money to get the perfect electric kettle. In a world where there’s tech for simplifying everything, who knew you could actually get excited for a tea kettle?

New to Ninja, but wow!
I have been a longtime Cuisinart user, but decided to take a chance on this Ninja pot when the base of my other pot fell to the floor. The Ninja was on sale and it had a variable heat setting, as well as presets. The difference? Rather than the controls being on the pot itself, the base provides a sturdy foundation with easy access to temp options. The pot is very light, which was a little worrisome when I first took it out of the box. That worry was quickly dispelled, however, as a pot filled with hot water is even easier to handle now. I’ve had the pot for several months and have no complaints. Heats quickly, accurately, has a “hold temp” feature, and a safety shut-off. All the typical presets for tea are available — green, white, oolong, black, and herbal, as well as a setting for coffee and boil. I really do love the added option of being able to vary the temperature myself on this pot, though. Lastly, the color is a a beautiful metallic blue gray. I hope to enjoy this pot for a long time!
