The application is a bad design but the product is excellent
I’ve been trying department stores for expensive makeup samples. I tried this because of positive online reviews and I love it. The problem is the packaging. There’s an applicator you put on your face and right back into the bottle . Plus I can see I’m going to leave a lot of product behind. It needs to be in a wide mouth jar or in a tube to squeeze and a seal. But Neutrogena DO NOT change your great formula you have a winner!

Easy to use
This is just a tiny bit of a tint on my quite fair skin. I like it! It kind of evens things out, but if I had a blemish I would still need a cover up for it, or for my under eye area. But that’s not a negative, that’s what I was going for. It kind of doesn’t look like I’m wearing it. I usually use a cover up on spots and then put powder everywhere. With this I don’t look like I added a product, my skin just looks more even. Also, I think it’s easy to apply. I’m sure you could use an applicator of some kind, but I just got some, rubbed it between my hands and then rubbed it all over my face. I dig it! Will keep using.

Applicator doesn’t spread product very well
I bought the buff because it was on sale. It’s a little light for my skin but I can make it work. I add a few drops of hylauronic serum to the bottle and shake it well and the tint spreads like a dream. I have age spots and all the stuff that comes with mature skin and it works for me. I too it off with ABH blush and bronzer and my 83 year old face looks very natural.

Not a good match.
I really wanted to love this. It’s hydrating and feels great on my skin. However, I’m very pale. I ordered the lightest shade and it was way too dark. More color options are needed.

Awesome
The first time i have used this product – it is AWESOME. Wish i purchased it long ago. Am 75 years old and do NOT like to SEE makeup – a mirage is all that’s needed to perk us up!!! Even the luckiest of us has a few wrinkles by this time 🌸🤗. I am on the light-side of medium and bought “soft beige” – it is invisible with a beautiful soft finish. No sparkles, no shine – perfect! Blends effortlessly and nicely covers imperfections Am THRILLED🥰. Countless tinted moisturizers out there – look for this one in great tint selections. PS – i applied it over Neutrogena Triple Age Repair moisterizer with sunscreen (also excellent). I did not apply primer, which will make it even better! I submitted this review on my own to help others find reasonably priced amazing products 😊.

My #1
I keep trying other foundations, skin tints, tinted moisturizers, etc., and end up always, always always coming back to this one. I’ve spent a small fortune on all these products but could have saved myself if I could stop listening to those damned beauty influencers on TikTok and FB. Great build able coverage. It doesn’t settle into lines (crevices in my case) and it has a great finish. Easy color matching. Easy application with sponge or brush. Love it. Perfect for my 70+ skin.

Love It But I’ll Never Buy It Again
This is my new favorite foundation: light, sheer, easy to apply, long lasting. I wish it were more moisturizing.What I dislike is the glass bottle and dinky applicator. It’s impossible to use the last quarter of the product. How am I supposed to get it out of the glass bottle with a narrow opening? For this reason, I will not buy this foundation again.Listen up, Neutrogena: put this foundation in a tube or add a modern pump applicator.

Surprisingly Great
This purchase really surprised me. I’m fortunate enough to have decent skin and don’t really need a heavy foundation. I just like a lil something to even and enhance things, like a tinted moisturizer.I typically use bare minerals but it’s pricey so I tried this more affordable option and it covers better than my foundation does. I’m really surprised at how well this works for such an affordable product. Def my go to now.For reference, I’m wearing buff.

Good formula, odd container and applicator
I am liking the formula. It is smooth and lightweight. I have oily skin and this works well. The shade blends well too. The only downfall is the applicator- I much prefer how my previous product being in an airless pump bottle.

While the product itself is ok, the container it’s in is just terrible.
The tint is fine. The container/bottle is terrible. I hate how it has to come out with a spongy-ended stick. That’s just ridiculous. I really dislike that.

Wand idea is poor
This is about applying. This is a thicker foundation yet it seemed sheerer when applied. I purchased because I wanted the hyaluronic ingredient. I knew about the wand. The wand does not deliver much foundation so I question how it will get all the foundation out of the bottle. It adds time to applying. If you like spending time in your makeup you might find that ok. I do not. I also question if the color I chose is the same as the other Neutrogena foundation I’ve used in the past. I will return to that style.

Cool based colors. Nice coverage.
The doe foot applicator makes it hard to tell how much is in the bottle. I really like this for my dry skin. Do your skincare so your skin is prepped for foundation. Lasts all day. I use an Eco green beauty sponge to spread it out. No fragrance. Suppose to be hydrating, and it is. Try it.

Excellent Foundation
This product is an excellent lightweight, hydrating foundation.It provides a natural, dewy finish that looks fresh and radiant.The coverage is buildable, allowing me to achieve the level of coverage I desired without feeling heavy or cakey. It beautifully evened out my skin tone, concealing imperfections without looking like I was wearing a mask. Love this stuff
I normally buy Bare Minerals Pro. Sometimes I use a tinted moisturizer when not working. So I tried this. This turned out to be full coverage. Such good coverage that I am not going to bother spending the 40.00 on Bare Minerals. This gives a full cover on my 58 year old skin, and leaves a dewy finish. I would not recommend for someone in their 20s, as it might be heavy. I don’t think it is a light cover. Perfect for older women, who want coverage and glow.

Pleasantly surprised!
I tend to have large pores and oily skin in my “T-zone” (forehead/nose/chin). I used hydro boost gel cream as a moisturizer, followed by this Hydroboost tint (Color: Honey) and I immediately noticed smaller pores and more even skin tone. This controls oil without being overly matte. Really lovely medium coverage that is light on the skin. Honey seems maybe slightly too warm for my skin tone so I am trying a shade lighter to see which is best. But the formula is non-greasy and feels great in the skin.

Pretty good & comparable to Sephora brands
This blends well. Buildable. Can be used daily. For some reason when I’m in the sun I get some breakouts from it. I will try it for a week, and if it doesn’t improve I will return it. I don’t know what is causing the photosensitivity. Other than than, I’d highly recommend this for the espresso skinned people out here. My tone is similar to Viola Davis, Kevin Hart, Lupita N’yongo, Teyonna Parris. Thanks.

My Skin Loves This Product!
I use a moisturizer under this product, as I have dry skin. My skin is fair, and the nude shade is a great color on me. I tried the honey shade hoping for a hint of a tan, but on me it’s a little orangey. I am so impressed with the quality of this product and the way it looks and feels on my skin. I have been looking for quite sometime for something to replace a much more expensive product I was using that was discontinued by the manufacturer. I like that there is some coverage of flaws, but that it’s sheer, and therefore gives a much more natural look than a heavy foundation. I find the applicator to be easy to use. This is my new go-to tint/foundation.

Perfect!
I’ve never used this but wanted a tinted moisturizer for daily use. This stuff is great. I don’t know how I managed to get lucky enough to have picked the perfect shade, Caramel. It comes with a sponge applicator tip so I dot it on and then smooth it out. It’s not heavy, covers my uneven tone without looking cakey. It looks like my skin, very natural. Not shiny or matte, right in between. So glad I stumbled onto this.

As a faithful Clinique fan, this foundation is pretty impressive.
I have been using expensive foundations for years, including Clinique, Estee Lauder, and It, because everytime I’ve tried a cheaper drugstore brand I have been greatly disappointed in shade, longevity, coverage, and texture. This is the first one I’ve actually really liked. It is a much different shade then the go to Clinique Fit I’ve been using but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it and it matched my skin perfectly! It applied easy and feels moisturizing, which is not easy to find. I have dry skin so this is very important to me. Coverage is about the same although my other foundation seems to have a little bit better coverage and lasts a little bit longer but not enough for me to not want to use it. This one doesnt settle as much into my fine lines as the other one does either. My only major complaint is the shape of the bottle. I feel like I will end up wasting a ton but I guess time will tell. For reference, I have pale skin prone to acne, red spots, and dry skin patches and am lucky enough to always have under eye bags and fine lines under my eyes 🙃 This stuff does a good job concealing these flaws without looking or feeling cakey though and survives my 12 hour shifts pretty well.Overall I would recommend giving this foundation a try!

Fantastic for aging skin!!
I’m thrilled I finally found a foundation that covers beautifully, doesn’t settle in the ceases under my lips and looks like my second skin. I have fair skin that’s a bit on the “ruddy” side so 20 “natural” was my perfect shade. I use the wade to dab on my face then blend with a makeup sponge. It’s that simple. I also just completed a round of prescribed Fuorourocil or what I call the Cancer cream. It’s nasty stuff that really does a number on your face for a couple weeks. If you know, you know. Well, when I absolutely had to go out, I used this foundation and it covered the redness and blotchy spots perfectly. I truly can say enough about this foundation!

I liked it but…
It was a solid foundation for a light moisturizing coverage. It did seem to go 3 shades darker once it was set though. I started using it as a base for my light coverage days, with powder on top. The bottle shape sucks at longevity with product as well.

Favorite for mature skin
I tried this product after seeing reviews online, and now it is a favorite. It’s perfect for mature skin, as it goes on rather dewy, and also doesn’t sink down in wrinkles or accentuate flaws in your skin. I hope they don’t discontinue it.

Sticks to dry patches
This skin tint seems to stick on to my dry patches pretty badly, even with a lot of skin prep before application. On the less dry areas it looks very nice and lasts all day, but the dry areas just look terribly after an hour.

Moisture
It’s beautiful on the skin…. I’m very fair skinned and dry, and this gives me a glow. And I just don’t understand why it’s not talked about more on social media. It’s affordable and goes on so smooth and gives me the glow affect that I want. Just find the right shade for you and give it a try, I’m going back to it!!

Light coverage with good hydration
I don’t wear a lot of makeup so I wanted something that provided enough coverage to minimize my imperfections without giving me the plado-face look. This foundation provides a nice, light coverage and leave my skin plump and hydrated. I’m prone to adult acne and this did not make me break out.

Non-Irritating!!
I’ve been searching for a gentle, moisturizing foundation that can somewhat tone down redness for my sensitive dry skin, and I think this might be it! On first applying, it’s smooth and moisturizing, but not too oily. Just a nice natural look, not too shimmery like some I’ve tried. I had a bad breakout this morning, and it’s actually covering a good deal of the redness, although I don’t mind if it’s not full coverage, I prefer a natural look. Amazing job, Neutrogena, it’s no wonder this product is so highly rated!

NOT a moisturizer
I guess I was expecting more of a tinted moisturizer. I don’t feel that this is very moisturizing at all, and I have to rub in firmly to blend in. I find it works well to mix in with my other moisturizer. The nude color is a tad on the orange side, but gives me some color which helps in the morning.

Best for the price

Needs an Improved Applicator
This makeup looks really nice on the skin; however, I do not like the sponge applicator that you have to use to apply. It will also be impossible to use all of the product in the bottle which makes it not a good value. Though I like the product, I would not purchase it again for this reason alone.

Classic Ivory is darker than pictured
Classic Ivory is at least one shade darker than Bobbi Brown neutral porcelain. Unfortunately, Classic Ivory seems to be the lightest shade.
