Selling stolen phones, beware!
Device was reported as lost or stolen by previous owner so my carrier drops service every couple of hours. Great device but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.

For the flip phone fans!
EDIT(9/28/21): Ok, this may be IMPORTANT if you are on certain networks! I originally had this phone on AT&T and had zero problems getting a 5G signal. Now with Verizon I can only get 4G LTE even though it has been confirmed I’m in their 5G coverage area. After talking to their tech support, the UNLOCKED version of this phone is NOT approved for their 5G network(although the Verizon-branded version of the same phone is. Hmmm…). Just a heads-up!Bought this off Amazon Renewed Program due to the lower price and 90 day satisfaction guarantee. Always carried flip phones in the past and enjoy the ‘pocketability'(not a word…I know) they offer.I needed to get into the 21st century and start carrying a true smartphone, however. It was a pain to have to carry a separate GPS unit when traveling and sending text messages the old-fashioned way was a joke! Nothing caught my eye until I saw the new Motorola RAZR 5G on tv.Being a loyal flip phone guy, naturally I owned one of the original RAZRs back in the day. It was one of my favorites and back then you weren’t a ‘dinosaur’ carrying one. Since then I’ve mostly just had basic feature phones from Samsung, Nokia, etc.The newest Motorola RAZR 5G is nice! It’s heavy, but still small enough to fit in a front pocket(folded of course). The internal screen is a great size and even the smaller front screen is just big enough to take a quick glance at when you don’t want to open it up. On that note, I’ve never had trouble opening it one-handed or notice any kind of squeaks when doing so.It does get a little warm if you are using it a bunch. Also, the front screen can be a little sensitive at times. I’ve had to delete many blank pictures it has taken in my pocket. Finally- and perhaps the biggest issue- there’s no real decent case out there for it. The design makes it difficult to protect completely and it’s a pretty expensive phone! In summary, I LOVE this phone! Sure it’s got a few issues, but what doesn’t? You just have to make sure you’re careful handling it so I wouldn’t recommend it for children(or clumsy adults). It is a great phone, however, for people who want a true smartphone with a small form factor- and still get a LARGE screen. 4 out of 5 stars.Jae

I love this phone.
Got this phone and the screen size is as big as my previous phone, but since it folds it takes up half the space and easily fits in my pocket. At first I thought I didn’t need a case because the screen is protected when it’s folded, but damnit I cracked the front screen and it no longer works, so get a case to protect the front screen. To fix the front screen through Motorola they want a grand. So at that point you may as well get another phone. So removed 1 star for that. Other than that this is my favorite of all the phones I’ve owned

That product was not what I thought
I like the phone but the way they package the item was wrong and the phone has a lot of big scratches that you can see from far away and it was no instructions at all and no key to remove or install a sd card I mean for all most 700.00 dollars that I pay the item was in bad shape

Renewed but looks New!!! Sold by Renew Pros. Fabulous Vendor.
Had this for about two months. This phone works great. And the vendor Renew Pro’s is excellent with communicating and willing to take phone back without any issues. No I didn’t send it back. They were willing for me to return it because on Verizon network you only get 4g not 5g. The Motorola frequencies put on this phone have less 5G bands than their Motorola 5g Stylus. I know because I have one and the 5G works on Verizon. After checking the bands on the two phones, now I understand why the RAZR doesn’t work on Verizon 5G.But that doesn’t matter to me. For what I do 4g is fast enough. Everything else about this phone is excellent including the condition. Not a scratch, blemish or anything else on it.The 5G will work on AT&T networks. Probably T-Mobile will also work but I can’t say.The reason I wanted the RAZR is because I had the original back in the day. What sweet memories. This is loaded with features, front display does more than Samsung’s similar version and 256 memory. That’s enough memory to hold my entire music files (65,000 @320bps) and still have loads of room. Super Fast processor so everything works quickly. I am shocked that I haven’t heard much about Motorola Cell phones. Between Thanks Giving and Christmas and the sales now I have two of them and love them.Hope this review is found helpful. Just trying to note the important things about this phone.

Sad ending
Loved the phone initially. The phone shipped and was delivered really quick but only after having a few days noticed a small black dot blocking battery status. I ignored the problem for one day and now the dot formed a streak running down the right side. Very disappointed since I really wanted this phone. Maybe it’s just a small glitch.

Great refurbished phone
To my surprise, this phone seems to be working great so far. I was worried that it’d have issues like other reviews stated, but mine appears to be fine. My only issue is that it isn’t unlocked, which is a major issue to be fair, but unlocking it seems to be extremely easy with AT&T so I’m not going to dock it too hard for thatEdit: it is now almost exactly two years after I purchased this phone, and it had no problems! Unfortunately, I’m trading it in for the newest Razr, but I did love this phone.

Definitely Not What I Expected
I think this is my first review. I’ve bought stuff from Amazon over the years. I read a few negative reviews about this phone but thought meh, everything gets a little hate here and there. So I ordered the phone because it was what I thought was a good deal. Far from it. I received the phone on time (good thing). Everything after was far from it. Took my SIM card out, tray was broken. Didn’t think too much of it. Verizon wouldn’t take it, so I kept looking at it. It wasn’t unlocked. Only T-Mobile. Went to T-Mobile yesterday. They looked up everything and activated me. Ported me over. All was well until 24 hr later. The phone kept reverting back to old settings. None of it is compatible with what I need. But when I kept trying to unlock from T-Mobile (before I thought I must use them), I saw four different attempt (multiple attempts). I’ll never try to save a few dollars and get refurbished again.

Can’t do basic features without overheating
The phone usually runs above 100° which isn’t too bad, awkward to hold, but manageable. It often goes above 110° and a few times above 120° which is very uncomfortable to handle.I decided to stop using this phone when it heated up in my pocket while I was playing guitar on stage at church. I had to stop in the middle of a song to take it out because it was so uncomfortable.I tried everything I knew to fix the overheating issue. Taking case off. Completely resetting phone. Stopping most features from running in background and at startup. I even deleted all non essential apps to see if that helps and it did not.The phone is cool and a convenient size, but this one issue dominated every positive aspect. The battery isn’t the greatest, but that’s to be expected for a battery this size. I looked into my issue and it seems to be common, so it’s not just my phone.Hopefully the newest RAZR doesn’t have this issue, so I’ll wait and see before buying. Hope this helps if you’re thinking about spending $400-$600 on this phone.

Best eva no joke Amazing
Get this phone it’s truly incredible no bloatwear rlly fast. Small perfect size for pocket eye catcher and switch to retro mode for someone who owned or knew of the razr 📳 and boom 🤯. It’s an amazing pure android experience. Battery life is ok last me 3/4 the day on moderate use screen mid bright. The touch screen definitely feels different then normal glass and is super accurate. Getting this on a deal with a warranty on the screen (who knows yeah know?) Worth it love it so much!

Sand! Don’t let sand into the little gears on side…..
Um I’m a country boy, who operates heavy equipment. I’ve definitely put this phone threw it’s paces. Moisture, vibration currently on drop # 3 No case. The worst thing I’ve found for this phone is sand in the little gears that help fold and unfold. Other than that Good work Motorola

Great phone, no problems
Nice phone that resembles the old razor that Verizon took from me in 2007. This phone looked brand new when I received it and functions very well. The only con I had when I first got it, it was slippery to hold until I put a case on it.I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of phone.

Great Device lots of pit falls
Purchased this as Amazon renewed, originally seller indicated that it included a manufactures warranty, 3 weeks after having it the top section of the screen became none responsive or did what it wanted to do.Amazon and the seller refered to Motorola who stated Digital Age Usa was not an authorized seller or repair company.I myself can factory reset a phone and run test software to check if a phone is working correctly, yet that still did not fix this phone. The return process was horrible and the time without a phone was even worse almost 2 weeks to get my money back so i could buy another device.I would never look at Amazon Renewed or Digital Age USA again. If your interested in this phone pass until the new version releases

SKETCHY
The media could not be loaded.
The phone arrived without the SIM tray which is a HUGE hole in the phone so there’s no way you could not notice it was missing. The back touchscreen does not work. There were also scratches on the phone that I was not happy with either. The phone was also tied to T-Mobile so I saw forced to have their app and a McAfee app which everyone knows McAfee is trash. ElectroWireless sold this phone and I don’t understand how so many things can go wrong nobody noticed.

Motorola Razr 5G front display DOA
Phone arrived in OK condition, but front display is not working. You would think they would troubleshoot that before sending out as “fully functional”. Zero starts if I could. *** UPDATE *** just noticed hairline crack in front display. Not fully reconditioned.

A bad decision
An a total disappointment. The mobile showed substantial use and plenty of marks and scratches. I could live with it but for the fact the external screen was not working. Tried all suggested solutions with no success, and returned next day (due to local mail restrictions, had to pay almost U$150 for DHL to take it back). The promise of “renewed” was far from fulfilled.

Screen Defective
The screen has a single color line going down while on. According to Motorola the screen is defective and should be replaced. A replacement would cost around $600. The rebuilt cost $743!!!!!! I’m sending it back for a full refund as it’s being sent back in your time frame allowed.

Nice Retro phone
I switched from an iphone to this phone. I had to reload all of my apps and then setup the logins for each one. Not a big deal, I expected that. Been using the phone for two weeks now and i really like it. Battery live is great, goes all day. Heard reports about the cpu being slow but, I think it runs just fine. I use the phone for work, I don’t watch videos or game with it. Email, phone, text, and Waze work great. Overall, I really like it.

Best phone we’ve ever owned
My husband and I both bought the Motorola RAZR and we love it. We both wanted a folding phone that would slip easily into our pocket and this does just that. However we have found that the stability of this phone to be outstanding. With our Samsung phones, setting/ turning off the house security system was extremely hit or miss. It was so frustrating. Our RAZR’s never give us a problem. We love them!

This phone is ingenious! I love it!
I don’t know about these negative reviews, I love this phone! It’s amazing it’s a flip phone and a smart phone I love it! It is just as fast as my Galaxy Note 9 and a little better on spelling accuracy! The screen is colorful and clear! C’mon people it’s a flip phone, it has some bumps but you cannot see them when the screen is on! This phone is ingenious! As pertaining to battery life I played games all day and still had 40% left last night and when it got down to 26% I charged it in less than an hour that’s amazing too! I can’t think of anything wrong with this phone for what it is for! It does everything my regular smartphone does and more!

Excellent Motorola Razr 5G Flip Phone!
I was very surprised at the quality build of this phone. Everything works as advertised. Great size when folded and Excellent viewing when fully open. I really like the outer screen (gorilla glass) AND the fact you can read emails and view many apps with the phone folded (closed)! This is the second generation of the Moto Razr (5G version) and it’s the one to buy!
