Didn’t work with our apple device *updated review 9/6/22*
Would not work with our apple devices when mirroring. It would connect and project our home screens and the home screens of our streaming service but would freeze every time we attempted to play a video. While audio still worked. we tried both our I-phone 12 and I-pad pro.I am updating my review just to say that their customer service has been great! They responded quickly and offered all kinds of help.Apparently even though screen mirroring is available; due to copy right issues some streaming services don’t allow it and you have to have a streaming stick or box. We don’t have one so they company offered to buy us one.

Great for backyards or even room
I originally bought this item in November-December but was defective, got a replacement the quality and connection works wonderful comes with a screen or you can use it on the wall that has no frames etc for better experience is compatible with iPhone and Bluetooth audio is great, if you have kids it won’t disappoint

Wireless iOS mirroring doesn’t work

Update 9/3/22: i found out how to adjust the screensize. I don’t have to physically move it closer to adjust the size. Just wanted to mention/correct that part of my review.Overall, I like this projector. I really wanted to love it but the wireless ios screen mirror doesn’t work. I don’t have an android so wasn’t able to test that. It worked fine while wired but, as for wirelessly, only the sound went through, no picture/video and the sound was super staticky. I think I’m going to keep the projector anyway. I don’t want to go with a different brand and find that it has the same issue. Im kind of hoping/crossing my fingers that they have a firmware update that resolves this issue. I updated my phone to the latest software, made sure that the projector was updated to the latest firmware and even ordered a replacement to make sure I hadn’t received a defective projector but both had the same issue. Another con: you have to physically move the projector closer/farther to adjust the screen size. Picture quality was fine, i like that it included a screen, hdmi worked fine, usb worked fine. I used my own speaker, wouldnt recommend relying on the projector’s internal speaker.

External speaker jack to big?
Plugging in my external speakers, which I plugged into other devices and the little 3.5 mm jack fits in snug, this jack on this thing is slightly bigger and doesn’t get a good connection so I have to use Bluetooth which gives me a delayed sound and doesn’t sync up with the Lips on TV. That’s very frustrating. Not sure why that is. Might need to look at a different brand.

Great value im a small, light package
This little magic box surprised me. Very user friendly, plug and play and it’s so light and portable im not worried about it being in the middle of the room. My other projector is very loud and has about the same picture quality and costs alot more, lately its just a stand for this little one.Wifi, Bluetooth works great. Very easy to setup and there’s 4k through the hdmi ports. Love this little projector, very glad I found it.

Pretty good projector and amazing support
Initially, I returned this item due to a hair in the optic system of a projector. Then support team contacted me and sent a new projector. Also, they did a great job helping me to overcome configuration obstacles. To buy a Roku USB stick was a good idea, in this case, you would be able to stream from Netflix etc. properly. Overall it’s a pretty decent projector. Special thanks to the tech support team.

Amazing product for the cost

The picture quality and brightness is truly amazing. Very impressive quality for the price. Highly recommend this product. The only less than stellar callouts are the speaker, while not horrible, takes away from the quality of the screen. (Using a sound bar via Bluetooth resolved this) The last fallout is the fan is a tad loud. Even still, I’d highly recommend this.

Almost perfect
We are so surprisingly please with this projector. The screen is large, the picture quality is amazing, you can see it absolutely perfect even with the light on, and the price wasn’t outrageous. The only thing I am not crazy about is when the volume is on 85 it’s still not very loud BUT you can connect BT speakers to it so I gave it a 3 instead of a 2 on sound. Over all very pleased with this purchase.

It works but…
No idea where they get the brightness claim. It is not a bright projector. There is a menu adjustment for brightness but it does nothing at all. Strickly for dark environments. Very limited keystone adjustment and that causes uneven focus in a big way. This projector must be close to level with the screen. For the price it’ll do…but just barely.

It’s just ok.If your looking for a high quality projector search for something else.Picture quality is decent enough to enjoy a movie but it needs to be real dark.Not great for presentations, words are not very clear even with adjustment.You get what you pay for, not terrible but not high quality.

No comprar no sirve el enfoque…
La calidad del sonido no es mala pero tampoco tan potente, se le pone una bocina mas grande y solucionado.En cuanto a la imagen se ve desenfocada, el botón keystone no funciona bien.Me parece que me tocó una unidad defectuosa.Sin embargo el personal de servicio al cliente me contactó y me sugirió como utilizarlo, seguí sus instrucciones pero el proyector seguía sin enfocar bien.Entonces me ofrecieron un reembolso completo debido a que yo vivo fuera de EEUU y no podían enviarme otra unidad de reemplazo.Estoy más que impresionado y satisfecho con el servicio al cliente.Gracias Cassie.Este proveedor vale la pena, es muy confiable y te da soluciones.

Washed out colors missing Red
The picture is clear, very easy to setup.The first projector we received showed washed out colors. Not able to show red color at all. Red is shown as orange.Tried different options but not able to get Red working..We contacted the seller.. their customer service is 5 star.. they were in touch with us .. provided us prompt replacement projectors. The one we received as replacement shows much better colors..Quality of picture is very good.Giving 4 star because it still doesn’t show a certain red (dark crimson red) properly but overall with price the quality of picture is very good..Best thing is contrast.. have to manually keep it very low means you can use It very easily in daytime as well..

Wifi that actually works

This projector overall is solid and the wifi actually works. See the photos, this comes with a screen and total setup time took me about 15 minutes. I then screen-casted my computer to the project to test the wifi out for my company’s presentations and it did connect. One con to this is that the wifi may not connect right away. If you find you are having issues, just turn the projector on and off and it should work right after once you try to screen cast again (it may need to clear a cache if it has a previous connection). I would recommend that you get speakers or an external speaker to hook this up to as the speakers arent the greatest quality but they do work decent if you don’t have anything else.I have not tested this with a bluetooth speaker set, but I believe that is one of the reasons this machine has a bluetooth option.Overall reaction: You will not be disappointed because the quality is good and I forgot to also mention the screen is brighter than all of my previous projectors. I am happy with this purchase and will also be using this on the go because the projector is small enough to take with me.

Worth the price and worked well for what I needed it for
I was looking for portable projector that is inexpensive to use it at home and potentially use it for future camping at night. This project was shipped very quick and well packaged. I have been using this projector several times in a couple of weeks and I am quite satisfied the results and believe the every penny worths spending on it.The user interface is very friendly and easy to navigate, my wife uses an android phone and I am using an Iphone, the projector accepts both for screen mirroring. It also comes with a IOS external cord to directly link the iphone to the projector do display, which is very helpful when the wireless connection is not available.The attached pictures show the good quality and contrast of this project using an iphone screen mirroring. We watch documentaries and panoramic pictures quite a lot. It works great so far on our apartment wall but have not been using it on the projection screen yet, since the projection screen is quite large and it would work better if we were to use the projector outdoors.After the connection of an external device, the built-in speaker would automatically work. We strongly suggest to use an external speaker to connect to the projector using the aux cable, it would makes the watching more enjoyable.

I first had a problem with connecting it but I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful. Customer service is absolutely awesome. The projector is awesome and light weight and easy to setup. It’s built in speakers are great as well. (Note if you have problem do not reach out to Amazon support as they will only offer a refund after return. You will have to reach out to contact@projectorcs.com they will help you. They even gave me a $8 refund as an apology for the inconvenience. (Note you will need a FireStick to be able to use Netflix, Hulu, ex but you can use YouTube no problem) definitely recommend it for that price.

It’s great for the price
For what I paid I’m happy! People don’t seem to think it’s loud enough but I think it’s great and don’t bother with my speaker. It’s not great in anything other then a dim room, it’s a nighttime thing for sure! I basically turn of most lights when using it. Overall I’m pretty happy and it’s cheaper/beats others I’ve tried.

What a surprised!

At last, found a clear and bright projector. My first try was disappointed image quality (different brand.) But this one so far so good in all. the sounds it’s okay. You need to connect a speaker for better sounds (i’m using sound bar connected to bluetooth.) for movies: fire stick it’s works great. Also USB is working as well. my kids are happy coz’ we can able to watch a movie at home if we don’t want to go out. we feel like we’re in the theater lol.

Outstanding Projector
Here goes my review of this bad little box, here. Let me start of with saying I have 6 projectors scattered around the house. I’m a meticulous gamer, the kind who spends about an hour adjusting TV settings.This little guy outperforms my mid $200s projectors, and it’s astonishing.It’s compact – the size you’d expect from a “meh” projector, but puts out a LOT of light. It’s a bit of a noisy boy, but let’s be honest , if you’re buying a projector, you’ve gotta expect sound, so I definitely recommend pairing it with some sort of sound system. It honestly sounds no different than pc fans, or even white noise.I’m so happy with this, I actually have begun the process to sell my other projectors, and repurchase this one a few times to scatter around.Extremely happy

Superb for price point

My living room is about 17.5ft away from the wall.I love it. I got a QLED TV 65” and then I decided to just go back to this one.What you might give up with razor sharpness makes up for me in the picture size and immersive experience.I suppose if I wanted it sharper I could put it closer, maybe shave off 3-4ft of that gap, but for what it is and what you can get for a TV it is WORTH it

It’s better than I had expected
Before i get started, a shout out to Cassie for her product knowledge and quick email response time.I got this little guy (and I do mean little) to replace my 6 year old bl-20 style projector and damn. It’s brighter, wider and cleaner than I had imagined. I don’t have to turn my light off to play games or watch movies and i have those super harsh, bright white bulbs. I haven’t used any of the wi-fi options yet but the bluetooth is great! No lag and crisp sound. The screen it comes with is delicate and snags easily on things (I don’t recommend it for outside use) but hangs quickly with the included hooks for movie night.

Impressive picture quality and brightness

The projector arrived well packaged. It includes everything needed including cables, remote and a 4×8 ft screen. I had no problem at all connecting the projector. The menus for the configuration is easy to navigate. This allows for configuring the picture settings , sound setting etc. I have connected to an iPad via the camera connection kit and also to an Amazon fire stick. I use an external powered speaker for the sound which is highly recommended over the built in speaker. Once connected let the fun begin! The picture quality is true LLC spectacular. We have had several movies nights and the experience is amazing! It really brings it to the level of a theater experience. I am very happy with this purchase. Recommended!

Love this new mini projector! It does the job if you are looking to do fun, casual viewing with it. Great picture quality! Sound is good for me. However, if you are particular about sound, you can easily pair a speaker. Super easy to set up! The biggest plus is customer support. To me that is just as important as the product when you make online purchases. If you need support, Cassie is amazing! She is timely with communicating from beginning to end. Not only did the product meet my needs and expectations, but responsive customer support makes it a win for me.

For the price, it a good little projector!
I can’t really complain. I only paid around $70 after coupons and gift cards. The fan is a little loud, but you get use to it and it is not super bothersome. It is best at night, but not bad for use during the day with my blinds down in the room. Has a little whitewash when using during the day, but doesn’t really bother me. Not bad for a first projector. I have been using my PS5 on it and the graphics are pretty good. It is doing 1080 at 60hz. Wish the hertz ratio was a little better, but what do you expect from a cheaper projector. I’m happy with it and it is way better than I expected to be.

Sound gave out but the company replaced the unit!
I initially gave the product a 2 star review because the sound on my unit stopped working after a couple months. The company contacted me and gave me a replacement, which I was not expecting. I have not had any problems with the replacement so I must have received a faulty unit the first time. I learned that customer service wants to help and make sure their customers are satisfied with the product so if you have any concerns about your unit, do not hesitate to contact them. They are very helpful.

Shows well in my Classroom

This mini projector has many cool features. I like that I was about to connect it wirelessly to my Android phone as well as my Windows 10 Laptop. As shown in the photos, it works better with lights off but is still visible even with all the lights on (as shown in the last picture).Brightness: I’m doubtful as to whether it is really 15000 lumens as the Yaber V6 which I previously owned was slightly brighter although it was only 13000 lumens.Quality: I did not use the included projector screen but the whiteboard in my classroom so it may not be fair to comment on the quality. I would have adjusted the picture settings to make it as bright as possible. There was slight blurriness when the keystone correction was used (typical of most budget models) but it focuses perfectly otherwise.Sound: In my experience, projectors generally do not have good enough sound loudness or quality for classroom use. This Projector is likewise barely audible. An external speaker is strongly recommended.Connectivity: I had no problems connecting this projector to Wifi on either the 2.4 or 5 GHz bands. I was able to easily connect it wirelessly to my old Sony Vaio (running Windows 10). The Bluetooth also connected easily to my Bluetooth speaker but there was a noticeable lag in playback as shown in the video.I would recommend this projector

Great Projector Terrible for Automation
I bought this projector as an upgrade from my bargain brand RCA projector and it’s definitely a step up image quality wise. What I don’t like about it is that has virtually no options for settings. I can forgive it not having CEC since that seems to be reserved for expensive projectors so I have no real issue with using an IR Blaster to control it since that’s what I had to do with my previous projector. I can even forgive having that extremely unneccesary power off confirmation prompt that my previous projector also had. The problem is the projector always launches to the home screen so in order for me to put it to the correct input I have to create a stupidly long and time consuming macro on the blaster to watch Chromecast. Why is there no option to just launch the previous input that it was set to? Why does it need to go to this home screen every time? Who thought that was a good idea? Most people probably have this connected to a single input. It doesn’t even have to auto detect the input I don’t care about that it should just remember the last input it was on and power on to that input. Even my incredibly garbage protector that I had before did this.I’m probably going to end up keeping this because image quality is worth it, but I don’t understand the decision to have it go to home screen every time.

Good Projector, Not-so good Accessories
The project itself has decent picture quality and a good brightness. Sound is okay, but it shouldn’t matter much as many will connect other speakers. Lightweight so I feel secure enough to place it high.Two things that pull off one star. First is the cord length, 2 feet shorter than the other projector I own. Total length is less than 5 feet (around 4′ 10”), which means it would have to be close enough to the plug, or you need need to swap for another longer cord. The second thing that bothers me a bit is the remote, the response is kind of slow. I had to point it right at the projector for it to pick up signal, which almost feels like I am giving it an interview…It also feels flimsy at hand and the battery cap is loose, but that doesn’t bother me too much.After swapping for the longer cord from my old projector (other brand), for 100 bucks I might still want to keep it. I used with fire stick and tried out the screen mirroring. Both worked fine, with the latter in lighter sound.

Ok projector for the price
Edit: Added one star due to great customer service. They reached out And offered a solution to my issues.Original review: It is just OK, not as bright as the claims. It has some degree of keystone but the picture gets blurry on top and bottom when you use it. Picture is very similar to my previous 720p, not too great as this is supposed to be a 1080p native. It can connect to wifi and Bluetooth without an issue. Giving it 3 stars (2.5 really) only for the price and the connectivity, also speaker is no terrible compared to others.

Great budget projector with outstanding customer support!
Wanted to get an inexpensive projector to use for Halloween decorations and maybe the occasional backyard movie night. After much searching, I decided on the Alvar RV500W – with discounts it was only $80.00. The initial setup was easy and it came with a 120″ screen that fit perfectly over my front window. I placed some Halloween videos on a USB thumb drive and plugged it into the projector – but nothing happened. I use Mac computers, so I reformatted the USB drive a couple of different ways, thinking that was the problem. Still nothing – so I went to the next option.Using the iOS Cast feature I was able to send videos from my iPhone to the projector. The image quality and brightness were decent. Easy enough – but I still wanted the USB functionality – so I contacted Amazon and their response was to send a replacement. Got it the next day – the same issue persisted. Then I noticed an informational card included with the projector that provided an email address for customer support. I shot an email off that night and early the next morning I had a response. I needed to reformat my thumb drive to MS-DOS (FAT) ONLY – not (FAT32) or any various MAC OS format.This did the trick – with one caveat. If using a Mac computer, when copying to an external drive – hidden files with a ._ prefix will be copied as well. This will confuse the projector – it won’t recognize that file format. There is an app called DotCleaner that can remove these unnecessary (hidden) files so the projector won’t attempt to play them.Bottom line, I’m happy with my purchase and pleased with the quick and helpful customer support!

A good little projector for an even littler price
The media could not be loaded.
The Projector:The projector is nice and small, and easy to place, though I feel the power cable is too short. In the box, along with the projector, you’ll find the power cable, an HDMI cable, a remote, and a silicone lens cap. The included screen is cloth and comes with hooks and quick-release adhesive to make it easy to find a place to hang it. I don’t really have a good place that is flush against the wall, so I had to get a bit creative.Inputs: It has two HDMI ports, 1 USB port, one 3mm RCA input, and one 3mm headphone jack.The projector also has a little adjustable foot at the front to allow you to change the angle a bit.Up by the lens are the focus adjust and keystone adjust rings. You can control most of the functions from the buttons on the top of the projector, but you can’t adjust the volume, so keep your remote handy.A minor gripe about the device is that the fans are a bit noisy, but if you have headphones on or a sound system I don’t think you will notice it.Functions:I don’t have any iOS devices and don’t use media via USB, so I can’t speak to those functions, but casting the screen from an Android projector is as easy as you would expect. I started the cast function on the projector and had no trouble finding it on my phone. I have my gaming computer hooked up to one input, and my PS4 connected to the other. Switching between HDMI ports is quick and easy, and the AV input option (cable not included) is great because I will be connecting my retro gaming consoles to the projector soon.The settings menu allows you to change screen rotation based on how you’ve mounted the projector, connect it to your WiFi, connect Bluetooth devices, change the display language, update firmware, and reset the projector to factory settings.I have two gripes about this device that should hopefully get fixed in a firmware update. Wifi settings and Bluetooth connections do not persist after the projector is powered off and on. Wifi isn’t really needed, so that’s not a big deal, but having to reconnect my headphones every time I turn the device on is annoying.Remote:The remote is a remote. Nothing crazy or fancy here. It’s small and lightweight, and it’s IR so you’ll need to point it in the general direction of the front of the projector.Picture Quality:The picture quality is great. It’s 1080p, which is just fine for what I need. I watch movies and play games in my office during my downtime, and I’ve had no issues with blur or screen tearing during games. It’s nice and responsive, and the colors look great.Sound Quality:The projector has a built-in speaker which works well enough, and I guess the sound quality is good enough for built-ins, but I would recommend using headphones or external speakers. The sound through my Bluetooth headphones is as good as it is from any other device I connect it to, and the audio stays in perfect sync with the action onscreen.Screen:It’s a big square piece of cloth with 6 eyelets to be used for hanging. The eyelets feel like they’re well supported, so I don’t need to worry about them tearing loose unless one of the kids decides to yell “Hey you guys!” before jumping and grabbing hold.Overall, I’m really happy with this unit and look forward to spending many much-needed breaks using it!

Excellent Projector at this Price
A projector with a) native 1080 support with the b) brightness it has and c) picture clarity with d) good colors e) at this price , you cannot go wrong. f) Blue tooth is excellent I say this because I connected it to my SONY SRS-XP500 and the sound quality is clear with mind blowing theater quality. Built in speaker is good too but did not get a chance to fully evaluate. The focus stays well and the angle adjustment. I cannot complain about any thing at this price. Any additional feature you ask for would increase the price I suppose. Came with free 100 inch screen. User interface is good for setup. What more can I say. Will sure recommend.

Great customer service
Update: This is an update to the review I previously posted. Although I had issues with the first projector that was sent out, the seller, “Nile Trading” without hesitation reached out to me in order to correct the situation, and they did so beyond my expectations. They sent out a new projector and I have to say I really like it.In retail sometimes things just simply go afoul once in a while but it’s how the retailer handles the situation that really matters and I have to say this seller handled it very well. I will in the future not hesitate to purchase any items listed by Nile Trading on Amazon as they seem to be a good retailer.————————————————————————————————————————–I was really excited to receive this but that excitement was short lived. I ordered a 4k Max Fire stick to complement this projector but soon realized that that upper level fire stick wouldn’t make a difference as the picture that this projector puts out isn’t up to par with the Fire Stick. I can adjust the focus of the projector to get a sharp image in the center but the outer portions of the image are very blurry to the point that if there is text in those areas it’s almost unreadable. I tried adjusting the projector distance and angle but nothing seems to help.As well as the focus issue the audio output jack fits very loose even after trying a few different cables. It’s so loose that the cable barely stays in and if the cable isn’t positioned on the table in a certain position it will just fall out. I prefer to use a cable and a external speaker because the speaker in the projector is just OK at best. I do not wish to use the Bluetooth feature to avoid audio lag.With these issues in mind I will probably send the unit back or just hand it off to a family member with kids as it will probably be OK for cartoons in the back yard but not much more.

It arrived well packaged. I don’t have any issue to set it up, all necessary cables included in the box, including a remote. Clear instruction. User friendly. It is simple to operate and has multiple inputs for various sources. It can be connected to iPhone, Android device or iPad via cable or screen mirroring.The speed of the projector’s 5G WiFi wireless projection screen was stable, and there was no stuttering. Bluetooth is easy to connect to stereo. The 1080P output is no problem. The picture quality is amazing, especially at night. the machine is very design sense, very sexy.What surprised me was the 120-inch projector screen. It was a surprise. Projecting on a white screen gives us very sharp and colorful entertainment for hours, also you can use with a fire stick, smartphone, IPTV, laptop or any device with hdmi.All in all I am very happy with this purchase, specially the quality of projection in view of price, when you compare with other name brand expensive projector, I recommend this who is looking for good quality projector for the best price, I don’t think you can go wrong with this projector at all. As this bluetooth projector is bright , sharp, mini size, portable design, and very easy to set-up, I am very satisfied with it.

Buyers Remorse
I thought I had done enough homework to know what I was really going to need, which was a lot different than what I wanted. It is a fair price if you don’t want anything anything above average quality, because this isn’t, in fact it’s got a bunch of features I was looking for, but I’m finding out how many descriptions are going to confuse you. This is what I’d say is budget minded, but I’m sure not blaming the manufacturer or the seller, I have what I feel I paid for. But it’s not going to be here for long, I have offered it to our granddaughter, and she is going to be in her own place in a few weeks, and it’s a little gift. Now I can get back to work looking for the same features, close anyway, but I’m going to be looking for a much better quality and smooth operation. I’m not sure I’ll have to pay a lot more, I think I can get what I want and I’ll just be more comfortable with the description, the reviews, and I will send them back until I find exactly what I want. The only thing I really need to complain about on this one is the focus on this is the first sign of my having a very low quality device here. It won’t hold a focus, light is certainly not the same as the listing, I guarantee you it isn’t. Lots of shortcuts, did some research on it after I got it and I have a few concerns about it and I don’t believe it’s even the unit that the features listed are going to match. I think it could be a very old model and the newer version of it is the same as the features listed.

We love our projector
It’s small and lightweight, we can use it by the pool or move it to the courtyard.Soooo easy to set up!Quality of picture is great.Sound is subpar, but we connect to our speaker and have GREAT sound.The fabric screen that’s included works well for us. I attach it to our backdrop stand and it fits well.

out of the box, image was clear, bright and seemed promising. I would not rely on the internal speakers because, although the sound worked, the cooling fan overpowered the speakers, even at full volume. I was able to connect a bluetooth speaker which I thought was cool. The reason I returned it was because I could never get a single streaming app to play video, only sound. I tried Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Prime. Not one of them would play video, only sound. Next I tried a flash drive plugged into the USB to play some home videos. I had both MP4 and MOV file and it would not recognize either. It wouldn’t even recognize there was anything plugged into the USB drive. Since this was meant to be for outdoor movies, the two methods of connecting did not work, at all. So sent it back. UPDATE-The company contacted me and asked me to give it another try, with their suggestions. I did and I am glad I did. Using my Roku stick I was able to log into all my accounts. The image quality is stunning and even the sound was good. We played an outdoor movie by the camper and used a bluetooth speaker to bump it up a bit, which connected nicely. I also used their suggestions to reformat my thumb drive and added some home videos from my iphone. Only thing here is that half played great, half said “unsupported format” even though it was all the same. And then a couple played videos upside down (I double and triple checked, they were saved correctly). All in all, it is a great projector for the money and I am glad I tried it again. This is our favorite addition to the camper!

*Update* Quality Until….
So far so good. The picture (in the dark) is pretty good especially for the price. But it doesn’t zoom in and out so if you’re looking for that then look around. Overall it’s worth the price on sale. *UPDATE* Finding a soundbar that will connect to this projector is incredibly difficult. It does not have an HDMI ARC Because of that, I ended up buying a soundbar that I can only connect using Bluetooth which makes the audio not match up correctly. Now I am stuck between. Do I want to return the projector are the soundbar. I would not recommend this projector without thorough research. And that is why I have to take a way a star. *Update* The company reached out to me and were extremely nice and helpful. Although I can’t attach a soundbar the way I originally intended to the sellers extended a partial refund which I was happy with! All in All This is still a good projector that could be great with some minor future upgrades.
