Very good thus far
I bought this to cut down into 3 runs at ~20′ each. Cutting into it there is an outside braided shield, and every pair is individually shielded. There is no dielectric separator but I do not see a need for it. The wire is copper, shield is aluminum. Very good thus far.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! Have it running from a Motorola MB-8600 DOCSIS 3.1 modem to a Asus GT-AC5300 router. Will buy more, to replace the junk I purchased from a competitor ( Van…….. ). Why? You were out of stock. I have little patience in waiting when I have all the other equipment.

Not worth the insane price. Get the Tera Grand instead.
This cable will not go past 750Mbps on speedtest, compared to my old Cat7 cable which get to 950Mbps on speedtest, I even bought 2 of these and both will not go past 750Mbps which means the cable is limiting the speed. Probably 99% of the reviews for this cable does not have fiber network with gigabit speed, I will not recommend this cable for gigabit speed. I only purchased this cable just because some said it lowered their ping – but it did not happen too.Not to mention that their customer service is horrible. They sold me two overpriced cables that does not even meet the Cat7 standard – and they refuse to help, they also wrote in the end of their message “This case is closed now” – Like they don’t even want to hear anything from me.Instead I purchased the Tera Grand for a cheaper price – And the performance are great !!! Reaches 950Mbps easy ! Works great with my fiber internet.

Solid shielded cable that works well.
Very solid cable. I used this cable to place wifi in ceiling thru plastic conduit. I wanted shielded cable since this is the primary WAP. I didnt need string to pull up conduit, was stiff enough to just push up thru other end. stiffness made lil dificult to plug into WAP but it did work.

A beast of a heavy duty Cat7
This Cat7 is everything you expect in a Cat7 and then some. THE best patch cable available. Not highly flexible but it’s rock solid reliability is worth dealing with a stiff patch cable.

CAT7 by MediaBridge is TOP TIER
Hands down the fastest and highest quality ethernet cable I’ve ever purchased. Lower pings, less interference, and a solid snap into my devices. Very little plastic odor, and great feel as well. All around great cable in a world of cheapness…

Looks great but not sure about quality
I bought these and realize there were stray wires on one end, I didn’t want to risk using them on the rest of my network, could have been just 1 defective cable but I didn’t want to take the chance

Connector on one end was defective
Next time I test the cable before I snip off one end (I had to do that to pull cable through the floor). After wiring a shielded RJ45 to the one side of the cable I tested and lead #4 was dead. I had to clip off the other end and connect a new RJ45 and then the cable worked okay. Aside from that, the cable kinked easily and the wire mesh inside the jacket was thin, although the wires were wrapped in foil in pairs. However only the solid leads were color coded – the leads that are normally striped were all white, necessitating using colored magic markers when wiring to the RJ45. Although this isn’t a problem If you intend to use this product be sure to test the connectivity first.

Quality cable, well shielded!
This is a very sturdy high quality cable. I bought it because I needed to run this next to my dryer power cable- which is very high amperage. I did, and no problems at all! I get max data rate to my modem. BTW- for those of you wondering, it uses the standard cat 5 / cat 6 connections on everything that’s out there- same plug.

Second one I purchased
This is the second cable from this brand that I have purchased. The reason was that it was a shorter length. Works great with my Fire TV. Cable is pretty firm although it does bend but maintains it’s form. Also, this was purchased from the Amazon Warehouse. Thanks

Amazon Outlet – damaged item
purchased as used (“very good” or “excellent”, i can’t recall) through Amazon Outlet – great price BUT the cable arrived significantly damaged. The casing is crushed/torn in one area… Amazon Outlet folks would have been blind to not notice the spots of bare wire. Appears to still work, but minus stars for poor inventory/quality control.

Awesome Cable!!!!!!!
Very nice Cable. Sturdy and easy to handle. I have read about complaints that the cable is difficult to plug and unplug. Not true at all. I tried this cable on my Desktop, Laptop, Smart TV, Wireless Routers and Roku and had no problem plugging or unplugging it. I have multiple routers and use this cable with one of my access point routers in my garage and it works great. I would recommend this cable. Plus I like the fact that it is Future proof. I am constantly upgrading my computers. This cable offers 10gps/1000mhz. Cable companies are starting to offer Gigabit internet speeds starting at 1Gps. Cable modems (3.1 DocSis) are starting to pop up at you favorite online electronic retailers. I know Amazon has them available on line.

Functional and quality cable. Do what he promises. Not fancy.
Excellent quality product. In terms of structure is very well done, the fitting of the RJ45 connector is very good and I found excellent the soft flex tab.The cable is not very flexible, but it is enough to have a good handle at the time of distribution (perhaps by the format in which it comes rolled up). With regard to the quality of the internet, I achieved stable speeds (without oscillations, practically a straight line) and with low ping. Very well met my expectations!

Solid enough to run through walls.
As a contractor I purchased this cable to bring a router from the basement gateway to the main level. The cable is stiff and tough. I ran it through a wall, down a plumbing chase, and across a drop ceiling. It runs with and crosses myriads of romex electrical wires. It even comes within a foot of the service cables on it’s journey. That said, it delivered 80+mbps with no drops or interference. While pulling the cable, it got kinked by the end of a pull stick and I thought it was a goner. No problems. I even wiggled it back and forth at the kink to check.

Future-proof yourself
This is a very well made cable. I did notice a bit of an increase in speed when doing a speed test but that didn’t translate into much else. My movies might load about 2 seconds faster. The best part is that I have future proofed myself for at least the next 3 years. The bandwidth it can handle far exceeds what my internet provider can even provide. And the signal going through this cable is rock solid. If there is any issue with lag or signal it is because of the internet itself.

Excellent for audio streaming
I upgraded a 25ft cable to my audio system and immediately noticed an immediate improvement in sound quality. Audio streaming has less error checking than conventional data transmission so a mechanically robust, well shielded cable with good connectors makes a difference. I was skeptical about the impact of digital cables on audio quality but this cable has brought new life to my music at a very reasonable price!

Perfect for any SOHO
I have had this product for a couple of weeks and so far, it has been great. Here are a few thoughts:Performance:I pay for 80mbps with comcast. After running a few speed tests, my download speed never dropped below 115mbps. Even when running a VPN, I would still reach no less than 100mbps.Design:It has a very minimalistic sleek design that is very appealing to me. Not only does it work great but it looks great which is always a bonus for me.Clips in easily and had no issues with installation. The cord is quite stiff at first but that is to be expected with a Cat7. So if you need a lot of flexibility you may just want to look into a 5e or a 6 but I still really don’t think this cable is an issue for any SOHO.

Amazing cables for the price
I am actually very impressed with these cables, I bought one at 100ft and another at 15ft, both are great, no interruption, no data loss on the 100 footer, I even ran it behind a TV, down a wall, absolutely impressive, I had a cat5e 100ft ethernet cable and I would lag like crazy, I’m an online gamer and having it hardwired in I shoulda been able to play lag free, I have 2 TVs downstairs and after I added these cat7’s I can stream 4k and game online completely lag free, I’d give em 6 stars if I could.

Works Perfectly!
I have bought several of these cables from 5ft to 25ft and all worked flawlessly. I have them connected to a 10Gbit switch and 10Gbit ports on my computers and NAS. I actually have achieved speeds greater than 10Gbit on these as high as 11-12 GBits which shows you how good they are. Yes they may be priced higher but I wanted high end true Cat 7 cables for maximum possible speed and these have not let me down. I strongly recommend these!

great buuuut…
I should have done more research before buying these as i wanted to boost my internet speed. My ISP said these are so powerful my newly switched modem was still to dumb for these cords and throttled my 460mbps internet speed to 80mbps. had to buy the multi colored 5 pack of 5ft Cat6 cables from mediabridge. Overall they look and feel very durable. So unless your running a series of networks or a company pushing multi gigs a second. These may be too good for what you need. just my opinion.

Improved my speed test ping
Improved my speedtest ping from 14 to 9 and on COD server latency from 43 to 36. when I replaced a 15ft UTP non shielded cat6 cable from my HP Omen laptop to my Asus RT-ACRH13 router. Improved my ping 1ms when I replaced a 75′ 10 year old cat5e with intermediate coupler to 15′ of cat6 to an oldschool 10/100 netgear switch that has another 150′ of utp cat 6 to my modem / other router.

Didnt solve my problem but didnt cause any either.
I thought my cat5 ethernet cable was getting crosstalk from other cables, so I got a cat7 to help shield it out. My download speed hasn’t increased and I havent see any changes in performance. But it does feel high quality and I can use this cable for pretty much the rest of my life because ice futureproofed my setup. So 4 stars.

Amazing quality and design
I originality had a no-name brand of cat6 non-shielded running from my basement, to the outside and up to my second story bedroom. At most I was getting 160 mbps down and approx. 8.12 mbps up. With the Mediabridge cat7 cables that are double shielded I saw 374 mbps and 11.73 mbps speeds. The average rates speed my cable provider offered are upto 400 mbps down and 12 mbps up. Perfect cables for fast internet speeds. Highly recommended.

It is perfect to snake in ceilings
This cable is as tough as the wire I use to use when I was an electrician. It is perfect to snake in ceilings. It would take a lot to hurt this cable.Like most cable that “has a good memory” this cable may be a bit difficult when run on a surface stapled in place.I am more than pleased with this cable that is made for internet broadband speeds yet to come. Some may say this cable is overkill but I think it is perfect for snaking between walls and ceilings.

Very Durable!
This cable is very well made and meets my expections 100%. With this cable, I was able to run directly from the Fios ONT box straight to my own personal router! Since this was a permanent cabling install, I wanted it to be something that would last and be future proof. The Cat7 meets the future-proofing and the cable is well made. Can’t bet better than that.

High quality shielded datacable
I received the product, on time, as promised. The product is well built and does a good in shielding for interferences. I was installing a Netgear Blackhawk access point in a location where the power cord for the access point and the data cable were side by side. This high quality cable provided the sheilding needed. I would recommend this cable to a friend.

Works as advertised – difficulty in getting the wire to lay flat.
It works as advertised and does indeed seem to be made of high quality components. The tight coil that its packed in, and the resiliency of the wire itself, made it very difficult to get the wire to lay flat on the floor so I could hide the wire.

They are very flexible and easy to work with
These are without a doubt the highest quality cables on the market and are competitively priced as well.I test every cable before putting it in service and they always meet or exceed specifications. They are very flexible and easy to work with. The connectors are high quality and I like the design for strain relief.I have found, thru many years, this to be true for every Mediabridge brand cable I have bought for business and personal use.

Simple, Just works!
I hate using wifi so using it for a Roku smart TV and works great so far. It’s hard to straighten out the coil which is a testament to the insulation/coating in the cable. Other than that all I can say is it does what it’s suppose to. I just want it to work and it does.

Wonderful Ethernet Cables from Mediabridge

Didn’t perform nearly what I expected, perhaps I received a bad cord
I’m really a fan of Mediabridge and have bought several products from them. Unfortunately, this one did not perform very well for me at all. I purchased this cable to be the main line from my modem to my router since I have Gigabit internet service and wanted a quality Cat7 for maximum speeds. After having the internet upgraded yesterday I was performing some speed tests using this cable and barely noticed a speed increase going from 400Mb to 1000Mb service with my ISP. After racking my brain trying to figure out the problem I decided to test the speed coming directly from the modem. Using this Mediabridge cable I was consistently getting only a 95Mb speed so I decided to switch to the CAT5e patch cable included with my modem (which SHOULD be much slower than this CAT7 but still capable of Gigabit speeds) and ran a speed test which yielded nearly 900Mb tests consistently.Again, maybe I received a bad cord but I certainly was a bit disappointed.

Love it!!!
As soon as we plugged in the cable and restarted the modem and router, the difference in streaming to multiple devices was obvious and amazing. So far, no spinning circle delays with all our devices up and streaming music or video. We didn’t expect that just replacing the cable would make that much of a difference.

Works great. I wanted a heavier gauge cable
Works great. I wanted a heavier gauge cable, this is 26AWG while most others are 30AWG or smaller. This cable feels substantial and well made. I also bought the double shielded Tera Grand, which is 27 AWG. They are very similar, I personally don’t notice much of a difference between the two besides the Tera Grand being slightly thinner.

To buffer or not to buffer, there is no question
We installed a wifi ready television in our bedroom. The wifi signal was strong but there was constant buffering. The Cat7 cable cured the buffering problem. IMO, wireless has a use but in my home, I would rather be secure that have all the bells and whistles.

Quality cable, verified Gigabit speeds.
Speedtest.net came back with Gigabit speeds so I am happy. I cannot test if this cable is capable of higher speeds, but it’s good enough for Gigabit. I did put a few kinks in the cable while running it through my house and it still works great. Would like to see it be a little stiffer to avoid kinking, but great quality otherwise.

5 feet, great cables indeed.
I got these cables, since I upgraded my Router to a NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 AC3200 and getting a upgrade to my ISP speed Wednesday, so why not take advantage with my speed with Cat7. The build quality is great, doesn’t feel cheap like the Cat6 cables I bought from Walmart. Even with the speeds I have for now, I notice the difference right away,
