Individually Sealed and good quality
I like that these are individually sealed, especially since you will probably be using them in areas that need to have a sterile tool. I bought these for using testing strips and they are easy to use, long enough for what I needed, good price for the money, and as far as I can tell, the quality is good (meaning I believe I have 100 units) and I am quite happy with them. (as happy as one can be about needing something like this).

These were great, just as expected
We had to use these for wound care. We used one end of the applicator to apply cream and the other non-cotton end to help positioned dressing in the wound. These are sturdy and their length make it easy to use without your hand blocking where you’re using them.

Convenience of use
With these I am not afraid of cross contaminating because they come each individually wrapped and you can take them anywhere. I use them to apply medicine on open wound and the long stem makes it easy to insert into the iodine solution without getting my hands in there.

Excellent Cosmetic Tool
I discovered that these long-handled swabs work far better than the usual metal tools for applying magnetic or glue-on lashes. Of course they are handy to keep on hand for other swab purposes as well. I rated this brand lower because the box containing the swabs was a broken mess when it arrived, with swabs strewn everywhere inside Amazon’s outer wrapping, which was perfectly appropriate — it was the product box that was flimsy.

Very good for appling betadine on a wound that needed to be keep clean.
Used these to apply betadine on my wife’s hip surgery wound. I was able to keep the would clean using these to apply betadine prior to placing a wound dressing to keep the wound clean.

Wonderful for wound care packing assistance. Durable and leaves no “lint” behind. Can use with Vasche wash for cleaning or dry without issues.Aside from this practical use…these little sticks would be GREAT for crafting/painting dot to dot pages with kiddos and so many other uses. Even opening the packages will be great fine motor practice. Just a note from an occupational therapist 🙂

Received the cotton tipped applicator swabstick,pros: Every swabstick was in a sterile individual packagecons: The swabstick breaks upon using it for applying cream, etc. They are not not durable at all. I have used similar swabstick applicators in the past, I believe they were made with bamboo, and held up very well.Need to make these swabsticks more durable, quality…….

Very pleased with the assurance of product sterility.
I am confident that each of these applicators are sterile as I use one daily to pack a wound. My previous supply, a different brand, came two per package. I couldn’t trust the second one to be sterile the following day, so I would discard it. With these McKesson applicators, each swab is individually wrapped for guaranteed sterility. Also, they are reasonably priced and delivered quickly.
