My Lipcolor !

One of the best lipsticks I have owned.
Was so happy to find the discontinued Maybelline color I really love. This is an excellent product. It stays on pretty well, the color is great and my lips do not dry out as with some other brands.

Just not my color
Nothing wrong with the lipstick except I took a chance on the shade and it did not work for auburn hair. With a name like ‘Rubylicious’ I should have known. I will give it to someone. I keep looking for something like my all time favorite lipstick, Mabelline F205 “Desert Sunset”. This was a light, neutral shade of red, not at all garish like so many reds. Why do cosmetic companies discontinue the perfect ones? This shade must have had a following, because I used to find it (discontinued) listed by sellers on Amazon at an outrageous price.

Divine Wine
I ordered this lipstick in Divine Wine. I drove to several different Targets where I found out they are discontinuing this color, not sure why or if accurate. But anyways, I am so glad I found it on Amazon! I am in love with the color. When you put it on, it is nice and creamy and has a nice matte finish. I love how dark the red it. It is a really deep red color, almost black. I also have this lipstick in Daringly Nude which is also a nice color.

This is MY color
Something about this color and no other just matches my skin. Alas, they discontinued it. I’ve been buying it up all over. I should have enough to last 20 years now, by which time I’ll be 83 and hopefully no longer feel the need to look pretty. How could they do this to me? Is this not my color??!! Great lipstick that goes with any color outfit.
I have used this lipstick for years. I like the quality and the color is right for me. I do not like to change lipsticks with every outfit, and this one goes with everything I wear. Hence, it is the only one I need.It has not be available in the stores for 2-3 years now, so I was delighted to find it on Amazon.

Perfect color, Hard To Find, Excellent Quality
Perfect color, has been very hard To Find, Excellent Quality, good price, super fast shipping. Very natural muted pink color with pale tan tones looks great and natural on middle age and older women. Creamy with a subtle shine, not frosted, not matte and very complimentary. Color does not last all day like some but a slight bit of color remains on the lips even after it wears off. No taste or odor, my new favorite!

Amazing lipstick!
I love this lipstick. I would describe it as a coraly pink(but more pink if that makes sense lol) I am a brown skinned girl so I already know that it’s hard for us to find the right pink to wear. This is a “no think pink” You can wear this without lining. I put this in my purse all the time because I can’t go wrong with you. I can line it or not, top it with a gloss or not. It’s amazing. I’ve heard that this is also a beautiful color of Indian skin tones.

very pigmented
This lipstick is very moisturizing on the lips BUT it’s very pigmented. The orange tint is very dominating. I experimented with some techniques to tone down the orange color: I dabbed any nude-neutral color lipstick on top of it, the outcome is pinkish mauve and its pretty. And also, I applied a foundation as a primer then this lipstick alone, it became pinkish and beautiful. My husband really likes how the color turned out on my lips. I thought I made a mistake of buying this, the color is way too bright and very orangey for my preference but with those techniques, No regrets.

Very good nude for cool-tone complexions: Pink Petal
Some of the most common, most engrossing discussions on various online beauty forums are regarding the “perfect nude” lipstick. Manymanymany beauty enthusiasts are continually in search of the next, great nude lipstick. After a few tries, I realized that “nude” to most people meant some sort of red/brown or pink/brown combination, usually indicating that the people in these discussions were of the warm-toned population. I am not. Their nudes tended to turn an unattractive orangey-brown on me. I’m the kind of cool-toned girl that can wear lilac-purple and look perfectly natural.Here is the first “nude” I’ve come across for my cool-toned complexion. It’s a cool/neutral, it’s moderately sheer and it doesn’t turn any sort of off-color on me; it just complements my complexion regardless of what kind of makeup I’m wearing. I don’t have to over-analyze what my blush or eyeshadow choices should be in order to make this color “work.” It is just the type of pleasant nude that I can swipe on my lips as I run out the door to make a quick trip to the drugstore. If you’re a cool-toned person, I encourage you to give this one a try. At the very least, it’s a drugstore brand and will not require a heavy monetary investment.

Bought for the color.
Love the color. I’ve repurchased this color from Maybelline a few times. I do apply it frequently through the day as there isn’t any lip staining properties that’s become more common.

Ruby Star doesn’t seem to be available in stores any more so I was thrilled to find it here. A perfect red for my fair- with red and blue undertoned skin. Most reds are &This is the PERFECT RED for my fair pink/blue undertoned skin. Have been wearing it for years and never have found a better red in any brand! There’s also a tiny bit of glitter in it that makes your lips shine. It’s getting harder to find…just wish Revlon realizes it has a loyal following and reissues it! I’m not sure about this product. None of the other Maybelline lipsticks I have bought in stores have been as dried out as this product was. So I don’t know if it is because this is an older lipstick or what. The color also looked completely different than the way it is shown. It looks orange in person. Would not buy again.

I really love this color. It would be even better in matte. I must say that it goes on like butter and is very… creamy guess you can say. I Waitress, so it lasts me all day….I’m not eating or anything thru the day so it doesn’t wear off. Beautiful deep brownish red. I have olive skin and green eyes, and it indeed looks great. Would also look great on women of color….. if you’re pale or very white it may be a little too dark.
