Great Foundation. Needs Better/Simpler Packaging
Very nice texture. Goes on smooth and has light-medium coverage. Buildable enough to cover hyperpigmentation. It dries and has a matte finish if your base layers are dry. It will be dewier if your base is more oily. Very natural and bare skin feel which is why I like this formula so much.Didn’t give this 5 stars because I think it can be improved. Would be nice if there was some SPF. And this product needs better packaging. Glass bottle with dropper, NO. The dropper is messy for a pigmented product that is kind of thick. And I don’t like that it can lead to contamination of product. Droppers are best for liquid serums, this is a foundation. This foundation would have been nicer in a bottle with a pump or a squeezable tube.

Great Foundation when paired with the right primer.
I have several different foundations. Some are very high end. This foundation is my favorite of them all. The first time I tried this, I used a silicone primer with it and it looked great at first but didn’t last all day. I then tried it with a non-silicone primer and it was perfect. The coverage was great and it did not break down. My primer that worked was the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer. I use a serum and moisturizer under my primer. It has worked perfectly with or without a finishing spray. Finishing powder has been optional as well. This serum foundation doesn’t break me out either. The Rosy Light is my perfect shade (I’m light with cool undertones). The only criticism is the dropper applicator. That was easily fixed with a pump applicator I also picked up here on Amazon. The pump applicator fit perfectly and made applying this serum foundation much easier and more hygienic. Highly recommend.

beautiful coverage, skin like finish
I’ve used this product before but the price is definitely better online than in store. was easy to color match myself. it has a lovely light to medium coverage and healthy radiant skin like finish. the only thing I can’t stand is the dropper applicator. I threw it out and put in a pump applicator from a different foundation bottle that fit on top. will definitely repurchase.

Lightweight, dewy, buildable coverage
Great tinted foundation product. Lots of compliments on my skin when I wear this. I have dry/combo skin, I don’t need to powder this product down much. A lighter dupe version of the Giorgio Armani Luminous foundation. Not very long lasting if you plan to wear for 10-12 hours, starts to found around nose/mouth first. Good for errands and WFH days. I will be repurchasing.

Does Not Perform As You’d Expect
To preface: I have combination skin (oily t-zone, but dry elsewhere), acne prone, and I am very, very, pale. Dare I say, pasty. I was excited to by this because of all the good reviews that advertise how hydrating it is and the buildable coverage- I was happy about both those things because 1) I’m young and I like full coverage for redness and long days 2) I LOVE skincare. It is never too early for preventative measures. That being said, this did not perform as I expected it to.First off, the shades are all off. I’d recommend ordering a shade lighter than you typically do if you want a perfect match. It’s not the biggest deal if it doesn’t match, as the formula ensures a seamless blend regardless. But, I found that the shade I needed was lighter than I typically go for- keep that in mind. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, it is sooooo liquidy. An absolute mess to work with. Second, I expected this to be a sheer light coverage, but it actually performs more like a medium to high, especially if you set with a powder like I do. That was a little unexpected for me as I usually prefer sheer to light coverage just for the sake of letting my skin aerate. Even so, this formula is very light feeling and breathable, and it feels like satin on the skin.Cons, however: I found this to be wildly drying? I’m not sure what the deal with that it. I feel like it dries out my skin like crazy and makes all my other products perform a lot worse, which is an absolute pain. I also had a huge breakout as soon as I started using this, but maybe that’s just a purging period. I’m going to give it time.All things considered, I’d recommend as much as any foundation. It’s fine. It performs okay, but definitely doesn’t work for the skin as much as you’d like it to, and certainly not the way they advertise it to.

Fabulous foundation!!
I wanted to see what the hype was all about with this foundation and I’m officially on the bandwagon! This foundation is amazing for my skin. I do see why a lot of reviews mention it has a yellow tint. I have pretty fair skin with a yellow undertone and this is just on the edge of where it could go overboard, but for me it gives my skin some color so it’s perfect.It doesn’t look great when I first apply it so the first time I was very underwhelmed by the look until I saw myself in the mirror a little later and was stunned by how good the foundation looks. So I learned that it takes a little while to set – maybe 10 minutes or so – and then my skin looks flawless! It also lasts the whole day for me so my face doesn’t look a mess later, and as long as I put setting spray on there are no weird creases and my makeup doesn’t look like it’s melting off in my t-zone. This kind of gives my face a soft angelic glow like a cherub lol. It takes years off my face and I can definitely see why everyone raves about it.I do also wish, as everyone has here, that there was a pump instead of a dropper. The dropper is messy and I’m always worried I’m going to drop or spill the contents of the bottle during application. If it had a pump dispenser, it would be absolutely perfect. But this is a minor issue for me, so it still gets 5 stars. This rivals my favorite Tom Ford foundation, which is saying a lot, and at this price point I’m going to give this one the edge. Foundation is tricky because everyone’s skin is different, but this 1,000% works for me and I hope it never gets discontinued!

Better Than Others I’ve Tried
I’m in my mid fifties with very fair, dry skin, and very few lines or wrinkles (thanks to genetics mostly). I initially picked this up in the shade 2-3 at my local Walgreens, but it was too dark for me (although it would probably be fine during summer when I’m a little tanned). So I came here and bought 0.5-2, which is a nearly perfect match for me right now (plus it was less expensive here).I don’t care for an overly “made up” look like many of the younger kids seem to enjoy these days – not for myself anyway because it feels too heavy on my skin making me constantly aware of it. Also, I’m nearly always in a hurry, so my application method is: 2 pumps of a gel moisturizer, 1 drop of tea tree oil, 1 drop of almond oil, and 1 pump of this foundation (yes, I bought a pump for this bottle because I hated the mess of the dropper), rub together in my hands then apply to my face like a tinted moisturizer. Apply a setting spray, add a tinted brow gel, lip balm, eyeshadow & waterproof mascara, re-spray and I’m done in 5 minutes tops. Applied this way, it looks natural…but better. It’s sheer enough to let my naturally rosy cheeks show through (no need for blush!) but evens out the tone of my skin a bit. My face feels moisturized and non-irritated, and my makeup stays put all day. It works for me!

better than the fancy brand that starts with an I
I ordered a similar product from another brand that also has a sunscreen in it and I didn’t like it. The sunscreen made the product all chalky and streaky and tough to apply so I was looking for alternates.I found several designer label brands and only one good drugstore brand. I went with the drugstore brand – L’Oreal.Compared to the other options this one is great! It layers well over my sunscreen and the color options are narrow but the sheerness allows for a lot of skintones and shades.This applies pretty well with a hybrid foundation brush but it DOES STREAK. So you’ll probably want to tap over the streaks with a damp sponge. I don’t recommend applying this product with a sponge because it is runny and the sponge will absorb a lot of product which will cost you more money.You can also apply with your fingers. I don’t but that’s only because I don’t like that method of application. But if you do like it – go with it. The product isn’t likely to streak from your fingers but it definitely will with a brush.The only thing I don’t like about this product is the packaging. It’s a disaster; a complete mess. So if you decide you like this foundation I recommend ordering a replacement pump for other foundations and using it on this product so you can avoid the mess that you’ll get when you try to insert the dropper back in the tube. You can find pumps here on amazon if you search for “true match” and “replacement pump.”

Love this makeup
I’m 60(f) and have smooth skin but I have some age spots on pale complexion. I am older and don’t want a heavy or cakey feel. I absolutely love the feel of this makeup, it’s light but still gives an even coverage. Blends easily. Read the reviews here and buy the little pumps for MAC bottles. It is absolutely necessary to replace the very messy dropper applicator.

Perfect color, easily spreadable
I wear foundation shades that are between fair and medium, usually about 2-3 shades up from the lightest. The name “rosy light” sounded like it would be too pink for my medium light neutral skin, but it doesn’t look pink. I wore the Almay TLC shade Naked for years, but needed to switch to something more suited to my skin that’s starting to get slightly drier. This Loreal rosy light color is a perfect match to what I was using and spreads easily without being oily. Coverage is pretty good and looks natural. For the problem areas (mild rosacea and dark under eye circles) that this foundation doesn’t entirely cover, I add a little Loreal True Match light concealer on top. This combination covers perfectly without settling into fine lines. No noticeable scent, which is also a big plus!

BETTER THAN HIGH END MAKEUP, if I were to pick one makeup product for the rest of my life THIS would be it. does not dry out and leave patchy areas on the face through out the day. I have been using this for almost a year, the only product that does not make me break out(I break out with every product) this is also lightweight. this is a MUST HAVE. I recommend using a beauty blender to apply this.

AMAZING
I love this product for everyday use. It is not too high coverage but definitely buildable and so moisturizing. I do not feel that typical dryness on my skin after removing it which I like a lot. As it is a sheer coverage product, it can get a little shiny with sweat and other factors during the day but nothing that can’t b fixed with powder. I also have very sensitive skin and this did not cause any dryness, discomfort, redness, or itch. I love it so much.

Featherlight beautifying foundation.
I saw this on Tiktok and wanted to give it a try. I’m 55 and I just needed medium coverage to even out my skintone and cover dark circles and such. This is just with this foundation no concealer. It feels like nothing on. I applied it with my foundation brush and wow. Just wow. I can wear this everyday just to like my reflection again. 😁

Be Careful With The Dropper
The “dropper” is horrible. It’s beyond me why they would have a dropper for makeup. It doesn’t work have the time. The consistency is thin/runny. The color is just a bit too dark, but it doesn’t look bad.. I got the lightest shade for reference. I wanted something that was oil free, that didn’t cause breakouts. My face tends to break out with certain products. This stuff is really light, goes on smooth. Only been using it for about a week. Suppose to be beneficial, so we shall see! 🙂

The makeup is good
L’Oreal has great makeup. I bought this to see if this would be less drying. Not much coverage goes one great the one thing I would change is get rid of the dropper it’s messy and you really don’t get much make in it. The makeup runs all over the side of the bottle horrible design

i absolutely love this product. its hydrating, buildable, and has a very natural finish. i have oily skin and don’t find that i need to set this with anything but a spray. it is a serum so the coverage isn’t entirely there, but it’s honestly pretty buildable and pairs well with concealer

Best way to feel young
I swear by this recipe it looks amazing on my skin even after all day use it actually looks better the longer I wear it. I highly recommend it and better than anything I’ve tried at high end stores. If you are going to wear foundation it should only be this kind- works for me l tell all my friends this is the good stuff.

I used a picture with direct sunlight to show you the wonders this does for my skin. I have acne prone skin that is pretty uneven, so I wear makeup everyday if leaving the house. This is easy and doesn’t make me break out at all! Blends so well and goes on smooth. It doesn’t cake up throughout the day or transfer really. It’s usually perfect for a natural smoothing look on its own… but if I want to add an extra touch, I’ll pat a little No Sebum by Etude House over it and it lasts alllll day. I love it!!!

I read the reviews and was hoping but boy was I more than rewarded. Wow. Love this makeup!!! It’s perfect for my older skin as there is no creasing/splotching/cakey look -it’s my skin just better. I do get a shine earlier in the day (I haven’t jumped on the “glow” bandwagon yet) but primer would probably take care of that. I’ve never had a L’Oréal foundation that has worked for me but this stuff is amazing!

I bought this in 3 colors so as I tan (and then tan fades) I can blend them and always look natural. These are sheer but still covers my dark spots!!! I will keep on buying these. Hope they don’t discontinue or change them!

Shade Light-Medium (2-3) is rather yellow
I agree with other reviews that say this sits on the skin like there’s no makeup there… but I add: almost. This is the color 2-3, Light. The color is just too yellow-toned, and also maybe a tad dark to be called “Light”. This is definitely not a neutral, at least to my eye, and I’m an artist. I know Loreal is not even saying these colors are neutral. But the foundation is called “Nude” and this color is not nude. Since the color range is minimal, and there isn’t a warm/cool/neutral choice within each level, I would think they would not skew the colors so yellow, since that only suits a small portion of users. Of course this will be true even if the color was not so yellow, since the range of colors is so minimal. The color shade 2-3 is correct for my winter skin when I don’t have a slight tan I get in the summer (without trying, and even with sunscreen!). However, this color on my skin, with the yellow tone, makes it look like I’m trying to pretend I have a little tan. That’s just from the yellow, not from the level of darkness. So maybe I have to resign myself to not being able to use this in winter, and get the 3-4 for summer use, when the yellow will be more appropriate.So I’m giving this product a generous 4 for the great texture, even though the color is wrong for me, at least for about half of the year. I do hope that Loreal will come out with more colors for this foundation.

Nice work on my face
I really like the texture of this foundation. The coverage is low but acceptable, and it didn’t dry out my skin, which is fantastic because I can’t find any other foundation could do that.The only downside is the packaging.

NEEDS A PUMP – I FOUND ONE
The makeup itself is fabulous. Lightweight, medium coverage, feels good on the skin – all exactly what I was looking for. HOWEVER, the “dropper” that is included is terrible. I purchased the “luecell 2pcs Replacement Foundation Pump for MAC and Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation” from Amazon and they fit PERFECTLY. Much better!!
