    Good upgrade

This large wall-mounted TV turned out to be a great purchase. Mounted easily to the wall, and pairs well with the Apple remote and auxiliary speakers. First experience with LG, and Life is Good!

Impressive image quality and motion processing

We were coming from a very nice Samsung KS8500 65″ which had 4K, HDR, and an 120hz panel. It was a very nice TV in 2016, but this B2 is on another level for picture quality and motion interpolation. 4K HDR content looks incredibly vivid and lifelike, and it runs great at 60hz with very natural motion smoothing. As with any TV, you will see some artifacts with the blur and judder reduction turned on, but it does a great job for being under $1,000. We use a Roku and take advantage of the HDMI ARC for our Yamaha home theater system. The TV communicated flawlessly out-of-the-box passing the signal through, turning on the system, and controlling the volume. We just use the Roku remote 95% of the time. Our Samsung was one of the brightest TV’s you could buy in 2016, but this TV appears even brighter to my eyes. We just let the TV choose its brightness levels and it works perfect in full brightness or full darkness. Very pleased!

    OLED Awesomeness

I purchased last year’s Hisense U8G for the 1500 nits peak brightness and 360 dimming zones. Awesome TV. But, I wanted to see what the OLED hype was all about. Although all of the so-called YouTube “experts” raved about the OLED picture quality, they all mention they are best in dark rooms and they are dim. I don’t live in a cave. I didn’t even take my Hisense off the wall, thinking I would end up returning the OLED because of that. There is nothing dim about the picture and great in my well-lit room. The color and clarity of the OLED is unbelievable! The remote and settings menus take some time to get used to. That is the only reason for the 4 star rating. OLED is the way to go and I’ll never own another LED TV. I bought the B2 over the C2 because there was a significant price drop and probably wouldn’t notice any difference between the two unless they were side-by-side.

    My first Oled tv ….

Just a quick review but since I don’t know what other oled tv’s look like you can take this for what it’s worth…I love this tv it makes everything feel like a real clear and crisp the last time I saw this good of a picture on my old cheep 4k lcd tv was a porno 🙄 but anyway this tv is a cheaper lg tv but it looks like the C2 version is just a lil brighter so why not save 300 or whatever it is now and get this one. Picture quality is amazing so I’m here to say it won’t disappoint.Gaming on it is just amazing i now have a high refresh rate tv and I’m so happy now to game at 1440p 120 fps is amazing I can do 4k 60 fps too but when I’m playing call of duty the extra frames help so much. My gpu won’t push anything higher than 4k 60 fps but it’s nice to know I have the ability.

    Amazing Oled tv

This tv is awesome. The picture quality is very good. The menus are easy to use. The built in sound was pretty good although I did opt to get a soundbar. Honestly not sure if the soundbar is adding quality or not haha. I don’t watch a ton of tv so I don’t have any burn in issues so far. Hopefully the tv lasts for years to come.

After a month I’m still impressed!

I did a lot of research online before I bought this TV. Specifically between this model and its slightly more powerful C2 model. When it was first released most of them were recommending the C2 because the price difference was pretty minimal, however when I bought it both models had been out for half a year and this model dropped more than just a couple hundred dollars. Combined with a Prime Day sale and I found myself looking at the best TV I’ve ever owned.I watch a lot of 4k streaming content, plus I play a lot of games on my Xbox Series X. The 4k streaming content looks amazing at 120hz, plus the motion smoothing isn’t as jarring as I’ve seen on a lot of other TVs. Xbox is only hindered by the lack of games that truly support Dolby Vision and 120hz support natively, but time will change that. The few games that I did play looked absolutely stunning for colors and depth (Ori and the Will of the Wisps especially). If you’re on the fence between this one and the C2, and the price difference is more than a couple hundred dollars, get this TV!

    Impressed

There was so much LG OLED hype. I didn’t want to believe it. I’m upgrading from a 2018 Sony which I loved and the LG is very nice. One thing I miss from the Sony is it’s Google TV UI. But what the LG makes up for in that category is the snappiness of the processor when navigating the menu and selecting media. Very good. I’m a convert.

Buggy software, bad design, bad remote, bad remote software, bad support, great picture.

There’s not much to dislike about the picture quality in low light conditions on the right source material. However everything is downhill from there. The remote is cumbersome. The LG smartphone app is an ad filled fumble fingered amateur half-try. The OS and applications regularly hang as a result of problems within the TV’s s/w (I have the latest equipment with a fast internet connection via ethernet, the problem is always in the OS). It will hang up at random in the middle of movies. This problem has gotten better with a few updates. It has no on/off switch, only a standby mode. When it hangs up, one has to unplug the TV and plug it back in. Then it looses its date and time and won’t load its crappy s/w, so the date and time have to be manually put in. And I’ve owned this for less than a year. LG support is miserable. Not a premium product anymore overall, not worth a premium price anymore. This is my third LG TV and by far the worst as far as s/w goes. I won’t be buying a fourth.

Amazing black levels and picture, AI upscaling is a game changer!!

I know there are much better Oled tvs out there. But coming from a Amazon 4k Fire tv that was 1 year old this tv is amazing! Of course the Oled picture looks fantastic compared to an led tv, but my favorite feature is the AI upscaling. Dvd’s look better and have much less artifacting than any previous 4k tv I have owned. The AI upscaling on most blu rays however is so good that it almost makes them look native 4k. The picture is richer and cleaner looking that I have started ordering blu rays instead of 4k UHD disc when the price difference is significant because of how good blu rays now look! And 4k UHD looks so good on this its almost obscene to me.There is screen glare if a light source is poorly placed in relation to the tv and the picture could be a bit brighter, but if your looking to own a fantastic tv and pay less than $1000 this tv is amazing. The image looks so good you will probably want a decent sound bar or speakers for the most immersive experience, but the tv sound is decent but lacking bass.I would never own another tv without AI upscaling. If you have more money buy an even better Oled tv otherwise I think at this time this is the most amazing sub $1000 experience at the time of writing this! FYI I paid $850 for this tv on Black Friday.Lastly I got free unpack from Amazon. They screwed in the stand and put it on my entertainment center and confirmed it worked. They were nice and respectful and made it so I didn’t need a second person to set it up.

First major TV purchase in 8 years.

Our family recently upgraded from our beloved Sony Bravia X850D 55-inch TV to the LG B2 OLED, and it has been a game changer. The picture quality is stunning, thanks to the self-lit OLED pixels that deliver perfect black levels and incredible contrast. We immediately noticed the difference when we watched the Insidious series on the B2. The dark scenes were truly black, with no light bleed or halo effect. This made the movie even more immersive and suspenseful. The colors on the B2 are also incredibly vibrant and accurate. The B2 is also packed with smart features; overall, we are incredibly happy with the LG B2 OLED TV. It is a significant upgrade from our previous TV and provides an amazing home theater experience.

    Great deal, good OLED tv

I bought it as Black Friday deal and it was the best deal for OLED tv out there. 120hz refresh rate, 4k – perfect for gaming (xbox series X confirmed). The only downside are: pretty bulky remote control and long set up process (u will need to accept like 10 terms and privacy agreements, set up and link multiple accounts), but after going through that video quality is amazing.

LG B2 is an excellent TV for gaming

The media could not be loaded.

I am extremely impressed with the LG B2 that I’m not sure where to start but I will try. I am upgrading from an old 2017 65 in TCL 4 Series TV that got the job done during the 8th generation of consoles with my old Xbox One X however, since we are 3 years into 9th generation of gaming it was time to upgrade and the LG B2 is a fantastic upgrade.First, games run smoothly on this console. It doesn’t matter if the game is 30, 60 or 120 fps with NVIDIA and AMD Freesync on game optimizer everything runs at a smooth framerate and games that used to cause screen tearing *cough*Assassin’sCreedValhalla*cough* is no longer causing an issue for me while gaming.Secondly, the TV is also very easy to use. My Xbox automatically recognized a lot during setting it up and calibrating the TV was didn’t take too much time as well. Same for my PS5 (although the Xbox has more advanced features that was built into the console for example Dolby Vision and AMD freesync only works natively on the XSX).Third, even during the day the brightness is NOT an issue. I read so many reviews about OLED TVs brightness but I have not experienced that at all. The TV looks great at all times of day but is especially terrific at night.Lastly, if you are debating between the LG B2 and C2 (or B3 and C3) I honestly think the B2 is great if you don’t want to break the bank. To put things into perspective, I paid approximately $1100 for this TV while at the time, the C2 was $1500 and I don’t think there’s a $400 difference in quality between the two TVs. If the C2 is $100 or even $200 more than the B2 at the time of purchase go ahead and get the C2. Otherwise, the B2 is a brilliant TV for gamers.

Best TV for the price on the market, hands down.

I recently purchased the LG B2 Series 65-Inch Class OLED Smart TV OLED65B2PUA, and I am incredibly impressed with its stunning picture quality and advanced features. With 8 million self-lit OLED pixels, this TV delivers a vivid viewing experience with infinite contrast, deep blacks, and over a billion colors, making everything I watch come to life in a way I’ve never seen before. The α7 Gen5 AI Processor 4K is engineered especially for LG, and the algorithmically adapts and adjusts picture and sound quality for a lifelike viewing experience with depth and rich color. Additionally, the impressive 120Hz refresh rate keeps up with the fast movement in sports, video games, and movies for a sharp picture with smooth motion from start to finish. One of my favorite features of this TV is the LG Game Optimizer mode, which includes NVIDIA G-SYNC, FreeSync Premium, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) to improve your gaming experience with fluid on-screen motion. Game Optimizer manages your game settings all in one place, making it easy to customize the TV for the best gaming experience. The built-in access to Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV app, Disney+, HBO Max, and over 300+ free LG Channels provides instant access to a vast selection of shows and movies. The TV also includes a Magic Remote, remote control batteries (AA), power cable, and quick start guide.Overall, I highly recommend the LG B2 Series 65-Inch Class OLED Smart TV OLED65B2PUA to anyone who wants a top-of-the-line TV with advanced features, stunning picture quality, and seamless connectivity. It’s worth every penny, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Five stars all around!

    Great TV so far

We have owned this TV for 3 weeks now. The 4K picture is excellent as is the picture from HD sources. Bright scenes and darker scenes are handled equally well on this LG OLED. A darker scene from a recent movie is attached. If you watch a lot of old black and white shows, the SD picture is just okay – nowhere near as good as on our 13-year-old Panasonic plasma. The sound from the speakers is very good. It even has a little bit of bass to it.The screen on this TV is extremely thin. Installing the base and moving the TV to the TV stand had me a little concerned. My assistant, aka my wife, was sweating bullets, worried that she might damage it helping me move it to the TV stand. I think this TV is not quite as fragile as its thin screen leads you to believe and we had no problems. The control is different from anything I’ve ever used. The selection arrow flies around on the screen as you wave the remote, and you select by pushing on the scroll wheel. I don’t think that is very intuitive. There are a HUGE number of options for customizing your picture and sound within the menu.I am experiencing one anomaly. Sometimes when powering on this TV, the screen is covered in colorful vertical stripes. I have attached a photo of that. Changing to a different input immediately corrects the problem. It could be related to the current version of the LG firmware for this model. Time (and a later software update) will tell. I am hoping this isn’t a sign of a problem developing. I took off one rating star for this issue.I do not use the TV’s built-in apps so I can’t speak to how well those work. I have a 4K Roku that I use to watch those services. The Roku works fine for me and the services are already set up.All in all, this LG OLED has a great picture and sound. Time will tell as to its reliability. Our Panny plasma is still going strong after 13 years. I hope this LG lasts that long!

    This is a great tv

The picture on this TV is awesome. With the OLED you can easily see the picture during anytime of day. Our living room gets direct afternoon sun and there’s no problem with the picture as there was with our past non-OLED TV. Even more pleasantly surprised by the speakers. Previously we had a sound bad, but opted not to use with after we set this up due to the great sound quality. The TV was light and easily compatible with a generic Mount to hang onto the wall. I highly recommend this TV

It’s light-incredible picture this OLED has amazing picture quality. For years a delayed upgrading I had a pioneer plasma and it has an incredible picture quality and movies look great but this thing is significantly better. The blacks are black it’s like a high quality computer monitor but it’s a Scream it’s incredible and LG did a very good job with this remote and the interface. I knew that my wife would HATE the Magic Remote. She doesn’t take change well.We upgraded from a 45″ HDTV to the LG 55″ OLED. The picture quality is wonderful. The free delivery & unpacking service (A Prime Days special) was great. It was a snap to set up.My wife uses the TV much more than I do. A couple of days after getting the TV my wife was so excited to show me how GREAT the Magic Remote was. She showed me how she changed the sound, color etc.A happy wife makes for a happy life.

    Is WiFi important to you?

Wifi is very important for me. The picture is great. It’s fantastic for video games. The audio is way better than anything I’ve heard on any television. But if you want to stream this is not the TV for you.I have done every trick in the book to keep this thing connected, to no avail. This is the only device in my house that has this problem, so it’s not my router or whatever else people have tried to blame. The only way to stream is to go through the PS5, which I don’t like doing. What year do they think it is where WiFi isn’t important?I will not be buying another LG TV.

    Absolutely incrediable

This is my 3rd LG OLED TV, I had the 55” LG B8, LG BX and now the 77” B2. I never could afford the C units and when it was time to buy the 77”, I could and almost purchased a 65” C2 and G2. But when it comes to OLED in my opinion go with the bigger screen first and then pick your model. The bigger screen 77” is absolutely amazing. 65” would have been to small, I put it in my bedroom and it takes up the entire wall, it reminds me off something from the future like some uninvented hybrid drywall oled screen. If you can afford the C2, go with it if the screen size is the same. I paid 1999 for the B2 and the C2 in 77 was 2799 plus tax I couldn’t and wouldn’t pay that. Having 3 B models there great. Works amazing with my XBOX SERIES X!

    Best TV We Have Purchased

We understand that TV technology continues to rapidly improve, but this TV is on another level. Simply stunning visuals, and better-than-expected TV sound when using without a sound-bar. The best aspect? It is incredibly thin. Way thinner than we expected and when paired with a thinner wall mount / support, you may not even notice it is there!

Coming from 1080p LED there is absolutely no comparison!

After agonizing over what TV I should get to replace an old 1080p set in my living room, I settled on the B2 over the C2 for a couple of reasons. 1) Lots of independent online sources that show picture quality/color reproduction are nearly identical on the 2 sets 2) $350 cheaperI have zero regrets, this is a fantastic TV and I love it. I am pleased I went with OLED despite the higher price point.

    Perfect Movie Room TV

I have owned this TV for about a month and absolutely love it! I have it mounted in my basement movie room. This TV is perfect for movie night! The blacks are so black, the colors pop, the viewing angle is very wide, and the anti glare coating is great. The automatic switch to Filmmaker Mode is great for movies. Streaming services with 4K are a must to get the best picture quality and look absolutely stunning. I added a LG soundbar with subwoofer that seamlessly operates with the TV remote. The standard TV speakers are decent, but the soundbar is a must for a movie theater experience. I purchased when the TV was on sale for $1996 and that is a bargain for the quality of TV. OLED is totally the way to go for movie night.

Got on a prime day sale. Great everything, apps, picture, input. It works with my over-the-air antenna, playing games from my PC (HDR and damn near zero input lag!) The PC is output is 4k HDR at 60hz and look fantastic. My only nitpick is slight lag when using an LG sound bar over Bluetooth. Bought an optical cable, problem solved. Could use more HDMI inputs as two is rather low, but that covers my PC and PlayStation so meh.

    WebOS is the only downside.

WebOS is the only downside. I’d heavily recommend getting an Nvidia Shield TV module if you plan to actually use Smart TV functions.Otherwise. This has been a fantastic TV.OLED should be an obvious winner for basically anything display. Movies and Games. Not much to say here since it’s a 4K@120Hz panel. It will function exactly as expected. Great colors, very good HDR experience, and zero latency gameplay. To go along with the display is a killer AI Upscaler for any content below native 4K. I’ve played my Nintendo Switch on this and if you told me it was Native 4K I would believe you. I was about to buy an mClassic adapter but there’s no need for that. And what surprised me the most is the audio quality. I don’t feel the need to buy an audio system with this display as long as you have AI Audio enabled.I compared it to a Bose Smart Soundbar 600 and it was easily way better than this $500 audio device. So I’ll be returning the Bose, happily knowing I don’t need it.However, it’s still a Stereo audio TV. Surround sound should be obvious that you need even better and more equipment. But it’s also lacking Bass audio. Not really a surprise as nobody should be expecting a TV to have any bass. But if you wanted to improve it and don’t care about surround, I’d look into getting a dedicated Subwoofer and see how that plays out.

    Picture is amazing

The media could not be loaded.

Picture quality is absolutely 10/10. Colors are accurate, blacks are completely black (reference when a black screen comes on, the TV appears to be off. This is what makes OLED what it is).The software is meh, an apple tv completely solves that. The wii remote style curse for navigating stock menus is cool though, but a bit annoying from bed.I’ve tried playing games via hdmi 2.1 to my PC (FTW3 3090 GPU), and some games play great, others don’t play well, haven’t figured out why yet. Also, the TV is always sending power to the hdmi, which is slightly annoying that my PC is extending my desktop to a TV that is powered off because of it. I have to manually disable it or disconnect the hdmi when not using it with my PC. Gaming via PS5 is perfect though.Another really cool gripe I have, is how thin this TV is. Normally I’d have no issues lifting a 65″ TV alone to hang it on the wall mount. Because it is so thin, it has too much flex to solo lift and feel confident I won’t Crack the screen. Most people won’t be listing this TV alone so not a big issue for most. I was trying to hang it solo at 3am after u boxing it face down on my bed to attach the bracket to the vesa mounting points. With that said, I had to call and wake up a friend to come help me get it off the bed and onto the wall so I could go to sleep.Overall 9.5/10 on this TV. My tiny gripes are easily solved, and the most important thing (picture quality) is beyond what I’d have ever expected.

    Bad Interface

The Image and audio quality are great and the audio software for choosing different listening modes is cool. The remote control works well but the pointer functionality is annoying when you’re trying to use the remote buttons and the LG channel pops up whenever you press the home button.

I couldn’t believe the picture. So sharp and clear. The sound could be better I think. The alexa app is worthless. I have a alexa for years no problem. The tv app must be on and then u have to use the microphone button on the remote to use..

    Dont reccomend due to remote

I dont reccomend buying this TV. The TV and picture are very nice, however the functionality remote you have to use is so awful you will hate using your TV because of it. On top of that, there is no way to turn off the bad features of the remote, it should at the very least be an option.Any time you move the remote a pointer will appear on your screen that is much more annoying to use than pressing up/down/left/right to navigate. On top of that the “enter/select” button its actually a scroll wheel you have to push in, which will lead you to accidently scrolling the wheel up or down and constantly selecting something on the screen you didnt want. To top that all off, there are buttons on the bottom of the remote and with one accidental press they will automatically open up applications on the TV that you never use. Totally interrupts what you are doing and the applications that you never wanted open to begin with are difficult to close.

    The picture is just “WOW”.

I went from a 50″ plasma to the OLED 77 inch. First 3 knocks that have nothing to do with the WOW factor. There’s only 1 small pamphlet telling you how to get started. For over 2000 bucks you should get an owners manual. I’m old school, for this level of technology I would have paid extra for the 3 manuals available. Second, the inputs and outputs are really lame. If you’re only going to stream fine. God help you if you need to make an input/output change. In fact, just splurge for the swiveling wall mounts. Thirdly, the remote is not designed for human hands. I’ve used Firestick for years and that helped with the transition to Smart TV. Fourthly, I know…. I said 3, the stand is a pain in the ass, definitely an after thought. Overall the picture quality over rides any of the bad things. I love this TV.

    Love it

Great TV, have a C2 in living room, bought this B2 for bedroom, great picture and sound. Works great with PS5. Would recommend to everyone. Apps are a little slow and laggy. I don’t use much since I have an Apple TV. Works fine otherwise. Don’t think that’s enough to knock out a star. For others it may….

    amazing picture

this the most amazing picture ive seen in my entire life of tv purchases. i cant tell a difference between the model above it. i was going to get a samsung mini led qled but did a lot of research and picked this one. i couldnt be happier. 4k 120 hertz for gaming with Ps5 is outstanding along with the HDR and VRR. got a new Denon with 8k capabilities to add to the treat of everything. if i can say anything that i disagree with the reviews is i have a pretty bright room and have a slider door next to my tv and the brightness is great. it doesnt have a crazy reflection or anything so im not sure why it would need to be any brighter. i dont need a tv that looks like i have a freaking lamp on. watching it in the dark is amazing too. especially ultra 4k blu rays. so if you have a bright room between the brightness of the tv and great anti reflection its fine. its also a beautiful eye piece. this tv in the dark looks like its off during black parts of movies. cant beat it. go for it…. you will not be dissapointed.

    Great TV, Great Delivery

I think if you buy this TV you know you’re getting. a great TV I was honestly worried about the delivery process, even though it was shipped by Amazon. But it came freight and needed a signature. The TV was well-packaged and works perfectly fine. Such a great process I ordered a 2nd through Amazon.

    Just Outstanding…

I’ve been wanting an OLED TV since I first saw the display technology. I bit the bullet and bought this LG B2 on Prime Day. I couldn’t be more delighted at the performance of the TV. Vibrant colors incredible contrast and detail that puts LED sets to shame. It’s like going from a Chevy to a Benz. The remote takes some time to get used to but once you do it’s more than okay. Set up was easy as the operating system already has most of your streaming services installed. I don’t find it to be laggy but then again I’m old enough to remember when color tv’s first appeared and you had to fiddle with rabbit ears. Unlike another reviewer states, it’s very easy and simple to disable the energy saving mode which substantially improves the picture. If you want the best for viewing spend the extra money for OLED.. You won’t regret it.I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Amazon customer service for resolving the delivery issues I had. They knocked it out of the park and made the experience great. Thank you Jamie!

    Beautiful Picture and Seamless Delivery

My husband was the one who selected the TV as that falls within his wheelhouse. As a video producer, he is often frustrated with picture quality and sound balance when we watch films or shows. He is VERY happy with this TV. We’ve had it for about 2 months now and he will still randomly say, “Look at how incredible that looks!” I, myself, was most worried about the delivery process as it’s an expensive and fragile product to be transported. However, Amazon did a wonderful job with communicating with us about expected delivery and upon arrival they did all of the heavy lifting. It was placed gently on the floor right next to the tv stand and after we unpackaged it, all was well and it was free of damage. All that to say, we had a great delivery experience and received a great product. 10/10 we recommend!

    Perfect picture!

I’m brand new to the OLED experience. All of my previous tvs have been the LED variety. This tv just continues to wow my senses! Every show no matter the medium looks fantastic! I’ve watched only black and white movies, color movies made in the 50s and 60s, modern 4k movies, and just standard 1080p movies and everything just looks gorgeous! You can see the details very clear. Blacks are BLACK and not just a muddied gray. There’s ZERO blooming. Watching Outlander is a pure treat. Yellowstone is amazing!I am gaming on this with a pc and my EVGA 3080 has no issues playing games like the new Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy on ultra everything. The colors of the games look superb. My wife can back all of this up. She was a huge skeptic and didn’t understand why i wanted us to upgrade to this tv. She didn’t understand that is until we watched our first movie on it and she was completely blown away. I don’t think we can ever leave the OLED experience now.I looked at other tvs before buying this product. I looked at Samsung’s QLED tvs and LGs QNED tvs and none of them compare to this. I don’t know what’s the difference in picture quality between the LG C2 line and the B2 lines other than price but I’m telling you for the price i paid here at Amazon I love my B2.Now I’ve only used the tv for a couple of weeks as this was a Christmas purchase. So far I love everything about the tv and what it can do. Even the sound from the tv is good. I’ll update this if anything changes but for now I’m super happy with this purchase.Update: it’s Super Bowl weekend and this TV is on sale. Grab it. I still love my LG B2 and nothing I said before this update has changed. It’s going to be great watching the Eagles and Chiefs go at it for the big prize.

    Delivery was poor!

TV was great, and working as designed, but a brand new 65 inch TV was left in the LOBBY of my building. Anyone could have came and stolen it. My buzzer was never rung, and I never received a phone call telling me my TV was delivered. Luckily building management contacted me and told me my TV was downstairs. How you leave a brand new TV in a very large box in the lobby of a building in beyond me. Completely unprofessional, and unacceptable.

fantastic TV but I wish I got a bigger size

Got what I considered a good deal and decided to order my dream tv, an OLED. My last tv was 3” bigger, diagonally, which I didn’t think would be too much of a step down. And after a month of use, I’ve gotten pretty used to it, but I should have gotten the 65”.Otherwise this tv is breathtaking. High refresh rate, easy to use UI, most vibrant colors you’ve ever seen, pitch black blacks. You’ll want 4k video streaming services and an internet connection fast enough to use them. If you get this on sale like I did, you’ll love it I’m sure

    Beautiful screen

I am not a big tech girl, as much as I wish I was. But this is an amazing tv. I bought it for my bf and I can tell that when he plays video games the screen is so crisp and the blacks are so black. I’m dumbing it down for everyone but you can immediately tell there’s a difference. I will say that the mouse portion on the remote is a little annoying but besides that it’s perfect

    Startlingly Good Picture

This is my first experience with OLED, and it still shocks me sometimes how lifelike it is. Motion is so fluid and blacks are perfect, even when surrounded by light colors. My previous screen had a dense LED backlight array and it still can not compare. Watching it in a dark room is ideal, but it still looks good in normal room lighting. If needed, the picture can be calibrated for a brightly lit environment. In terms of build quality, it is good so far. The top part is just a thin piece of glass, which is really cool to see with the perfect viewing angles, but the bottom is chunkier. The stand does look a bit cheap. For most people that are wall mounting, know that the mounting part is on the bottom. If you are replacing a traditional TV, this one will likely sit too high and the wall mount will have to be moved down. We had to figure that out. This is our first LG TV, so it was another operating system to learn. The WiFi signal is strong and it has the standard apps. For whatever reason, we had to delete the Disney+ app and reinstall it before a show would start streaming properly. If you find the motion controls annoying, they can be bypassed by using the arrow keys and scroll wheel. Overall, a bit clunky, but navigation is fast.In terms of picture quality modes, they are pretty interesting. Similar to the Nintendo Switch OLED, there are times when vivid settings that would be garish on a normal screen are ideal. They can “fix” shows that look overly dark on any screen and actually do a great job. HDR content looks startlingly lifelike, showing detail that was completely missing on our LED array TV. One area the software is pretty bad at is motion interpolation. If you decide to use it, it often leaves artifact trails behind moving objects on solid backgrounds. I’ve seen much better, and it is a feature perfectly suited to OLED.Overall, an incredible television that has spoiled me. I highly recommend it, even if there is room for improvement.

Every time it’s turned on the reaction is still wow!

This thing grows on you. From the first use, the deep blacks were stunning, much better than I’ve seen before. That’s what grips you at first. HD broadcast TV shows looks much better: the up-scaling is the best I’ve ever seen. And 4K blu rays are almost too good. You can see details, including, and uncomfortably, the grain inherent from most film transfers that weren’t there before. And the viewing angle is very wide. Every time it’s turned on the reaction is still wow! Two things; like all out of the box TV’s this needs to be calibrated correctly. The red push needs taming. Spend some time and research video settings. You may not find one setting that fits all situations. And it’s not going to be at it’s best in a bright room. The sound is better than anticipated and is adequate. But no one buys one of these for it’s sound.

    65” B2 Review

I had never owned a LG tv and heard that OLED is the best from everyone I spoke with. I also have multiple friends that love their LG OLED TVs so I decided to purchase this model. This TV isn’t heavy but definitely requires 2 people to setup since the screen is so bulky and thin besides for the panel of the TV. I had a friend assist me with setting it up.Product worked great when I first set it up. I checked out the picture/sound, it was all working properly. Since it working properly I threw out the box.About an hour after the set up, I went to watch a movie and noticed faint banding lines in the screen. After seeing the banding issues, I couldn’t unsee them. I was worried I would have to go through the return process and I didn’t have the box anymore.I did some research to discover it’s not uncommon for LG TVs to get banding issues. I followed the online troubleshooting instructions and ran the manual “pixel cleaning mode” and it did resolve the problem with the faint banding lines. The picture is back to normal now and I do enjoy the TV every much but I recommend getting the extended warranty for this product.I gave a 4 star rating based on my experience with the banding issue but would have given a 5 star rating had I not experienced that issue.

Amazing picture… even for the darkest movie moments!

I was tired of watching dark scenes and not able to. It took me only 1.5 hours by myself to set up the TV and my streaming channels. I tested the picture with Game of Thrones season 8.3… the notorious battle at night. It was amazing to be able to see the battle in detail! I don’t think anyone would regret choosing this TV.

    Beautiful picture

OLED is different and better than LED and deceptively similar in nomenclature QLED. With OLED, each pixel brings its light. The result is a light TV with a central base for ease of placement on a stand or table. LED and QLED TVs, in contrast, have thicker screens to hold their backlight arrays, requiring widely splayed stand legs. With TVs reaching 65″, a reasonably sized TV base is becoming all-important. And of course an OLED picture is far better than can be achieved without OLED.So OLED is better, but is it thousands of dollars better? Must we pay $3000 for OLED? With LG – especially on Amazon Prime Day – we don’t have to overpay. LG OLED brings a brilliant screen, attractive design, 2-foot base, and a solid smart TV and remote.Compatibility with streaming apps was my concern. I kept my old Fire Stick and Roku on hand. I shouldn’t have worried. LG’s Web OS runs all the apps, from Prime to Netflix to the all-important Paramount+.A 65″ OLED screen may be just a little bit excessive for the available space in the corner next to the fireplace. Too much of a good thing can be great. That’s what this LG OLED TV is. It’s great.

    A bang for the buck

I purchased this tv to replace a Samsung, which was weak on HDR and Dolby Vision. So far I am quite pleased with it. Setup is easy and straightforward.I’ve played around with picture settings for three days before settling on one I like. I have my Sonos sounbar going into e arc, and my Spectrum cable box to an HDMI input. I chose vivid and tweaked the color until it looked good.On the 4k Dolby Vision HDMI input, I hooked up the ROKU Ultra. Again, I chose Vivid and adjusted the color settings to get a good pic. CINEMA Mode is recommended for the Dolby Vision settings, but it was too dark for my liking. I also turned off all the AI settings. The TV has a large number of apps available, as well as channels via LG.Bottom line, this is an excellent TV but be prepared to spend some time tweaking the settings.
