Very Nice Wide Screen Monitor, Great for Artists!
I bought this monitor because I am a video editor and I wanted to ditch the multiple screen setup. Absolutely love this monitor so far, would like it to be a little brighter but it is currently maxed out.I personally think this might be too wide for gaming but that is just a preference i think. Besides, i’m not a serious gamer so i wouldn’t know.

Great work monitor
We don’t game with this one, but it is a really nice work monitor for the price. Big enough to have multiple documents on the screen while still being able to read everything. No disappointments with this purchase.

Really good monitor if you switch over to HDR mode in windows.
This monitor replaces an Acer monitor with the same specifications except that the Acer monitor was an IPS panel. When I was looking for a replacement for the Acer monitor that my cat destroyed, I thought I would try a VA panel. When I first connected this monitor, the image was pretty dull. I really wasn’t that happy but it was livable. One day shortly after getting this, I actually read the directions and it talked about going into settings in Windows 10 and turning on HDR mode. When I did that, this monitor came alive. The colors were better than the Acer monitor, and the blacks were darker. I really like this monitor and hope my cat doesn’t destroy it. It doesn’t have speakers, but it does have a headphone jack. One thing I do like about this monitor is the power supply is separate so the power cable running to the monitor is smaller than a standard power cord.

This screen is not worth the hassle from the unprofessional sellers.
I purchased this screen to enhance my gaming experiences. The experiences was lack lusted. The screen is to wide and stretches everything. The contract is blown out and everything does not look as crisp as you would get on a Samsung. The refund process was a hassle as the owner claimed I damage the screen and refused to refund me. Avoid the monitor and the terrible taste you’ll get from the sellers.

Very Disappointed
Buyer beware, if you plan on using an HDMI cable with this unit think again. Using an HDMI will cause the refresh rate to drop to 30. The only way to get anything better is to use the DVI cable which isn’t available on my laptop. Also, the refresh rate wasn’t the only thing affected, the picture clarity and brightness were much worse than the monitor I was replacing.

Excellent deal when it is on sale!
I got this on sale, so price per dollar at $300 is really good. The blacks are nice, and the screen is plenty bright despite some youtube reviewers. The colors are also excellent. This screen real-estate is great for both business and gaming with great response time.I do not have this mounted and am using the stand it came with, but I can see how it would be an issue to mount this given the power plug and video connection placement. So I wouldn’t recommend this one if mounting it. Otherwise if you catch the sale, it is a great monitor!

Washed out, faulty display
It appears the other reviews are correct, the bottom row of pixels are very dark, unusable area. I imagine the backlight simply isn’t aligned properly to light them up, I can see solid white pixels in that area, but they’re very dim, everything else is darkened to near black. It’s a shame, this display is the perfect size, but with that bottom row being unusable, it makes windows ui a bit awkward with the task bar being partially obscured.Better quality control would be nice. Never buying an LG monitor again.

Awesome contrast and color
Got this at a great price and am very happy with the picture quality and functionality. I’ve got it next to a similar IPS panel and as expected the blacks are richer on this one, the both have their pros and cons but you really can’t argue with this quality at price, I haven’t used it for gaming but it does seem responsive

NO BUILT IN SPEAKERS
I loved the quality of the screen but it does not have built in speakers…. Super disappointed and considered keeping it but I don’t want to be forced to always use headphones or external speakers.. a bit of waste of technology in my opinion. Great screen quality aside of that caveat.

Not meant for SIM Racing! Power & Video in poor location!
I had to cut 4 pieces of 1″ plywood, 4.5″x4.5″ and drill holes and go buy M4xM50 (~2″) screws to mount this on my GTR GT-F Simulator because of such POOR placement of power and video connection location for use with the simulator!

This is a junk monitor in my opinion.
This is junk. Blurry picture, dark picture, low low contrast, poor colors and horrendous ghosting!!!!Besides being sooo low in brightness and contrast even at max settings, the ghosting is horrendous.I have an AOC 49 super wide DQHD that blows this out of the water. This has to be the worst LG monitor I have ever come across. Even if it were 150.00 I would still not buy it. GHOSTING and picture quality is the worst I have come across in 2022. Ive seen an asus monitor at walmart FHD perform and display a picture better than this for 159.00 with 240HZ .

Dismissive Customer Service
After 3 months usage a bright flash was emitted from the screen and the screen went to black. Amazon had us try a new outlet, a new HDMI cable, a hard reset etc with no improvement except some dim light around the perimeter. Amazon directed us to LG Customer Service since we were outside of the return date but still within manufacturer warranty period. There, we went through the same protocol, and then, promptly (and i mean right away!) dismissed with a “Leaving this chat. LG hopes you have a great day!”

Great except for ghosting
Use this monitor for photo/video editing as well as gaming.Pros:I primarily use it for editing. Colors are good, though it is curved and a VA panel. You will get glare on your screen if not angled properly to avoid other light sources, and the colors aren’t the best but still are very respectable when looking at the monitor straight on. I color calibrated the monitor with a SpyderX and was impressed how close it matches my BenQ monitor that is made for color accuracy. Gets pretty bright if that matters to you (at least in my opinion).Cons:Gaming. Is it a widescreen with a good resolution, high framerate, and low latency? Yes. Is that nice for gaming? YES. Is there ghosting? … Yes and pretty bad at that. I tried turning on and off several different settings (Freesync/HDR/High framerate/Low Latency etc.). Even playing a lesser demanding game like minecraft, it’s really obvious when slowly panning the camera.Final thoughts:I would get this monitor again at the price I paid (about half off MSRP on a Prime day) but it does have its shortcomings. It is marketed at gamers, and it is pretty good in that regard, but I would make sure people are aware of the ghosting. For someone looking for a monitor to edit on or just to have a monitor, with the right tools this is a fantastic monitor for the right price if it’s on sale.

Solid purchase
Excellent monitor for the price. I don’t do a bunch of gaming on my PC, but I do a lot of graphic design, music editing, and IT work from home and I have had zero issues doing any of it over the last 3 weeks of use.I have 2 devices, my work laptop and my home desktop workstation) plugged into the monitor and am able to switch fairly quickly between the 2 devices with no issues. My only complaint is that the display port seems to revert all of my window sizes whenever I switch from the laptop or wake the monitor from sleep. It is definitely a minor thing, but annoying all the same. The On Screen Display menu is really self explanatory and easy to use. The recessed joystick that controls the OSD takes a little getting used to but once I adjusted its really intuitive.I wanted a good looking, large, curved monitor that didn’t disappoint in any way and this is definitely that. It replaced my 2 24″ monitor setup and I have no regrets whatsoever, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Best Bang for Your Buck
I bought the cheaper version because it’s the same monitor with a cheap stand; since I was mounting it on a flex arm the stand was not important. This is a very nice monitor for the money. It is a VA rather than IPS, so the colors are more vibrant, and the reduced viewing angle of VA monitors is not really noticeable unless you’re going to use it as an off-center secondary monitor.PRO’s- Very reasonably priced- A LOT of screen real estate, you can fit about 50 icons on your task bar.- High refresh rate, very smooth scrolling.- At a little over 12 lbs. it’s light enough to work well with flex arms and the VESA mount was easy to attach by myself.- I find the joystick settings control easier to use than the usual pushbutton array.CON’s- It does cut off the active application indicator bar on the task bar at the bottom of the screen; as you can see, my solution was to simply place the task bar on top. It took some getting used to, but it works.- If you’re using it with 1080p monitors the Windows text is a little small. Still readable just smaller than the other monitors. If it’s your only monitor you can always change the Windows settings- No G-Sync support, but I don’t do a lot of gaming and the Nvidia studio drivers work great.- You might need a bigger mouse pad, it’s long way from edge to edge :)BOTTOM LINEIf you’ve always wanted a widescreen but didn’t want to spend over $500 this is the way to go. It’s cheaper than the cost of two comparable 1080p monitors, has more screen space and with the curvature is an immersive pleasure to look at.

Very good Monitor – Updated 7/23/22
Note below that I have revised my review downward from four stars to one star because I have now received two monitors with the exact same defect. Also, in thinking about the overall picture quality, it is not as good as my two “cheap” 23″ A*** monitors this was supposed to replace. HDMI performance is poor and Display Port is a must. See additional comments below.Original Review:I have found that the overall quality of the monitor is very good. The hidden joystick control for display functions is very intuitive and is easy to manipulate. A far cry above the older “push one of the button to see what happens” approach of many of the standard monitors. Stand is NOT height adjustable but will tilt forward and backward. Stand is easy to attach without tools and is extremely sturdy and stable. Due to its shape it takes very little room on the desk. I found the height is about right for people 5′ 8″ or taller, which, sadly, I am not. Raising the seat is the only alternative. I would recommend moving up to the vertically adjustable stand.Sound was not tested for this review.Video card used was an AMD Radeon R9-380 with 16GB GDDR5. Video is HDMI, using a 1.5m Premium video cable. Although a Display Port is available, it was not used for this review, and could improve picture quality.Picture quality in native mode using HDMI is not great and I would not recommend it for fine line graphics work. It is a little “blurry” of fuzzy. This especially shows up in text work and mechanical drawings. Not noticeable as much in 3D renderings or video work. 5 ms. refresh rate is fine for such things as flight simulator and general photographic use. Not used for gaming. Examination of the pixels using a 10x magnifying loupe showed pixel bleeding – adjacent pixels that don’t turn fully on or off. Black level doesn’t seem to be adjustable and adjusting contrast and brightness doesn’t seem to help. Note that in native mode screen objects are extremely small unless Windows magnification is set to 125%.Update: Using a 1.5M Display Port cable in place of the 1.5m HDMI, improved the display quality immensely. All bleeding disappeared. When switched to the new cable, the display picked up the change immediately and switched to the Display Port input. Windows 10 switched the resolution correctly and the magnification back to 100%. Note that this monitor vertical height is the same as a 21″ 16:9 HD monitor. But with vertical resolution being 1440 instead of 1080, the pixels are smaller and so are the icons, text, etc. Using 110% magnification helps match the sizes but reduces the usefulness of the larger monitor.I have found that this monitor will work in other resolutions set by the video card, although the picture quality remains about the same and other magnifications may be needed to create a “normal” size on screen.Update 7/23/2022:Received my replacement monitor today and it has the same defect as the first: The last 5 rows of pixels at the bottom of the monitor are not there making the taskbar cut off at the bottom. That means any Windows 10 application that is active does not display the white underline and you cannot tell if the application is active. It also cuts off the bottom of the taskbar icon. According to LG Tech support: “Send the monitor back.” I will be returning the second monitor (an exchange), for a refund and looking elsewhere.

Wrong Dimension information, height is 14 inch
Just unbox this monitor, the item dimension stated on this page must be corrected. For an extra-wide monitor if the size is 32″ and extra wide, then it must be narrower at height. The 19-inch height is for a normal 32″ size, for this UltraWide monitor, the height is ONLY 14 inches.Hope the official statement on Amazon can be corrected.

Great value for the price
The quality of the image and colors is superb, I bought this for home office setup, and it works as expected.Besides the monitor itself, I would like to speak highly of the base/stand design, the curve makes it very stable and although my desk is a little big tight for two monitors ( this one and a 27-inch one) and I occasionally hit the monitor when walking in/out, it has been be very steady and worry free.Note that this monitor doesn’t come with Type-C port, luckily I have HDMI port on it with the M1 MBP.

Nice Screen, Weird Input Placement
The cables plug horizontally into the back of the monitor, so be mindful of that if you’re wanting to do a wall or arm-mount. This probably won’t work for your setup unless you use the stand provided and don’t have a wall directly behind the screen. Picture and build quality is nice. Uses a power block instead of internal power conversion, so you’ll need outlet space as well. Monitor weighs very little and has very thin bezeling.

Why 2 Stars for A Great Monitor….read on
If you are intending to use this model for your gaming experiences by all means, please do – it is amazing and well worth the price and the picture quality is amazing. Why the 2 star rating? LG support is a dumpster fire waiting to happen. This particular monitor (34WP60C) comes from Australia and has several issues with the Dual Monitor ‘software’ that you have to hunt for and find all the right manuals and set up steps to even get the initial software installed. I found that LG website has issue redirecting traffic from USA and AU (mixed up support downloads and manuals) and amazon defaulted to sell the cheaper AU models – no where did I select this specifically – switch n bait? I don’t know….DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MODEL ## as LG does not support their products the same. After you do install on both PCS you will come to find the software is not documented well after the initial ‘hook up’. You will have several videos to ‘choose from’ and all the videos are misleading.Digging deeper I did find the PnP mode is NOT supported on this model and without it you will NOT get the Dual Monitor feature to work and eventually you will buy a KVM switch. Total marketing switch n bait. Don’t be fooled like the many….check model #s and all the compatibility before you buy.

Great Monitor…
Great Monitor, didn’t realize that it was a 4k monitor, so I needed to buy a better Video Card. My old non-4k video card, made everything just a little blurry (not a lot though). Once I got my newer Video Card, everything is now perfect. Great Monitor.
