Perfect monitor for a student
I love this monitor. It is so convenient for me as a student. I have a lot of online classes and so there are lecture videos that I have to watch. The extra wide screen allows me to have a video playing while I’m doing assignments and homework. I think this is perfect for people who have to multitask and have multiple windows open to work. Great buy!!

Great deal
I do not use this for gaming. Web browsing as well as photo/video editing.The display is very nice. I downsized from a 43″ 4k TV for video editing and getting used to the smaller size took a while, but that was just me.After a couple months of use, the only issue I’ve had is the poor quality of the speakers. In settings, there is an option called max audio. I thought this would improve the sound. It is terrible and makes speech almost garbled. With the option off, the sound quality is still bad but speech is understandable.For action videos and music it isn’t as bad. Still not great but for just watching videos/youtube, it is acceptable. I have other LG monitors with much better speakers, but worse displays.

1 works, 1 is horrible
I ordered two of these monitors to have the ultimate home office setup. 1 of the monitors has been flawless the entire time, the other has been problematic after just months of unpacking and setup. The screen keeps going in and out of picture, and causing the opposite monitor to go out with it, since they are connected for a spilt screen. Now, after a year of use, the pixels on that same problematic screen are going out by the dozens, and getting worse on the daily. IT’S DRIVING ME BANANAS and destroying my productivity! I’ve called multiple times but without an extended warranty, I have no help. This sucks, because these weren’t too cheap, and I just don’t have it in me to order a replacement, without having to replace the 2nd monitor to match the setup that I have in order to keep things consistent on screen and file viewing size etc.. LG has always done me right but they failed this time and makes me question whether or not to trust them again with another product. It might be Samsung time for me, again! DANG IT!!!!

Poor Quality
I started seeing broken pixels after 2 months of usage. I have 2 broken pixels right in the middle of my screen now and I am too tired to deal with returning or asking for information about what to do. Just don’t buy this product !!!!!

Very crisp display
This was purchased to replace dual monitors for graphics and video work. It has been great so far. Waiting on delivery of HDMI KVM switch to finish the transition.I like the ability to split screen as if we’re two monitors because it let’s me use less expensive switch for single display.

Overall a good buy
This is a good monitor for the prices especially as it has inbuilt speakers. The only problem I have is that the screen cannot be adjusted for height or angle and thus can be uncomfortable given where you have it situated on your desk. But it’s not a huge drawback.

Great value
Base was easy to assemble. Plug and play into the computer was simple. Resolution, brightness, and contrast are very good. I would say that the description of such products should include the type of connection it uses. This one is HDMI. My desktop did not have an HDMI jack. Adapters don’t work when the source is not HDMI. So I was forced to buy a new computer to use this monitor. I needed one anyway, as it was not working with my work software very well. But it would have been nice to know that before buying.

Good monitor for the price, but Average
I purchased this product used from Amazon and saved $75. The product was in excellent condition and does what I need. I review multiple documents, and this gives me the space to accomplish that. If you are looking for an extremely sharp picture this is not it. I guess I’ve got too accustomed to 4K TV! One of the best features is its ability to adjust up and down and tilt and create split screens.

Clarity and function
What I dislike is the monitor will randomly turn off for five seconds. Nothing I’ve done has changed that. Any suggestions? If it didn’t do that, my overall rating would go up!

Not adjustable!
This is a great monitor, but it isn’t adjustable. The monitor tilts a bit, but does not swivel left to right or telescope up and down.I assumed all monitors were adjustable. I do wish I’d known to pay more attention to that detail.

Very nice ultrawide display
I bought this to use as a main display for work. I am an IT professional working from home due to Covid. I was working from a laptop and the lack of workspace was hampering me quite a bit. This display and it has been a major improvement to my work environment and productivity. Excellent color and brightness. Even the integrated speakers are not bad for a display. They are not as tinny sounding as some I have heard. It was easy to setup and has a nice stable base with adjustable height. The power/control button is dead center under the front edge of display which is an easy location to access.

blink off (1 second) then back on
For no reason, this monitor will turn off then back on about 10 times randomly through out the day. OFF/ON cycle takes about 2 seconds. Can I exchange this monitor?

Good for WFH with downside
Just got it today !1.Set up is very Easy .2. There is no control in the monitor . So you can’t change the brightness or for that matter any thing. This is a big downside .3. Due to this my eyes are giving me trouble .4. Benefits of large monitor are there .5. Was able to connect to my Laptop and Desktop as well.

Nice for office work or school
I received this monitor from my employer. It’s my first ultrawide and so far I like it. Plenty vibrant as the standard color gamut goes. the only weakness to the monitor is the resolution. At 34 inches, the ppi isn’t the greatest for 3d applications. Most ultrawides at this resolution are 29 inches for that reason. It isn’t as obvious when looking at 2d graphics so this ends up being appropriate for office work and school. Most people use programs to manage their windows and this may be an annoyance for some. The build quality is good. 21:9 media is really neat to see one one of these things

brightness flickers constantly, super annoying.
title says it all… this monitor flickers quite often, bright then dim, bright then dim. Something seemingly so small is actually quite annoying. Otherwise works as expected.

I’m not a gamer…
I’m not a gamer, but one of my two monitors bit the dust. I figured I would buy one large monitor to replace the two smaller ones. I’m glad I did. I’m able to have several files open at one time, and have them big enough to easily read them. It took a little getting used to, since the two monitors had been set at a slight angle, but I’m used to it now.

Screen blacking out at times
I came from a 27″ iMac and can see the differences in quality. Apple makes the best screens by far. I’ve also been having the screen blackout periodically for seconds. The screen goes black for 2-5 sec, then back on. I did some troubleshooting with Apple Care, and they thought it was a monitor issue since the Mac Mini tested fine. Has anyone else had this problem, or do you have any suggestions on how to remedy it?Thanks.

Monitor offers more space for multitasking.
It is easier on the eyes when using a larger screen. The width enables me to have two windows open and visible at once which is very handy when getting data from one page while entering data on a website.The setup is so simple even a 1st grader could hook it up in seconds.

Great Value
Excellent quality for the price. I can set up three browsers side-by-side with no issues. It’s great for the virtual training environment I have to work in. The refresh rate goes from 50hz – 74.99hz so the mouse/pointer has no lag time in it. This happens all the time when I use my TV as a monitor.

Great monitor but beware the cons
Great monitor overall.The adjustable stand is exceptional!Color accuracy is okay, but not perfect.Max brightness is okay, but also could be brighter.Main complaint: text clarity is horrible. Can’t read in-game text sometimes, like small user names, and text is especially illegible when watching gaming videos at 720p or less.

Dead pixels and flimsy LCD frame
I got a 29″ version of the same monitor and it was perfect for my home office. However, I felt the need for a slightly bigger display and ordered a 34″. The 34″ provides a better stand for adjusting the height and also a cable holder. However, the frame on the top that holds the LCD in place is not as firm as 29″, and this may be due to the larger screen width. Additionally, there were dead pixels in 34″ in my original order and my replacement order of the 34″ monitor. Hopefully, I get a monitor with no dead pixels as my second replacement and if it does not then I am ditching LG for good.

Great value
Bought 75hz 34WN650 for 250 dollars on Prime Day. It should be one of the cheapest options out there. At 109 dpi, the resolution is not as good as those 24” 1080p 16:9 monitors, but still not blurry at all.

Perfect for Work from home
Dear LG,These will be my second LG Ultrawide monitor. My first one was a 29” Ultrawide that I had since Oct 2020. I bought it to use for work as I work from home full-time. The reason I replaced it was because somehow there is a line going straight down the halfway mark on the monitor going from top-down. The rest of the monitor works perfectly but I am a Property and Casualty Chat sales rep so I stare at my screen 12+ hours per day and the line in the middle of my screen gives me a headache so I decided to upgrade to this monitor and I gave the old one to my wife. I don’t know how it developed the line but I had it almost 3yrs and my employer paid for it so it didn’t really bother me.I upgraded to this 34” monitor because my needs are pretty basic. I wanted something larger and slightly better than what I had before. This monitor is perfect for what I need it for. I do no gaming whatsoever so this monitor is for work only. I love the fact that it has a built in speaker and it works really well. I use a microphone for zoom meetings and I use the speakers from the monitor to hear people so this monitor is perfect for that. this monitor and my 29” LG monitor is almost exactly the same monitor but this one is larger by 5”’s and it’s nice. I have no complaints about the monitor whatsoever and it makes my job much easier for the most part because I don’t need to squint my eyes now. I do turn the monitor off when I’m not using it so that way it can prolong the life of the monitor. Good stuff.

Excellent desk top monitor
I replaced a television with this monitor. It is the perfect size to replace two monitors so long as you aren’t more than 3 feet from the screen. Setup was ridiculously easy. Picture is excellent. I intend to get another one. If I were to complain about anything it would be that there is no on-board camera for video calling, but that was a $100.00 fix. I can’t comment on the sound because I use a sound bar.

It worked really well, until…
I truly enjoyed using this monitor. It has a good picture, better sound than I was expecting, and served the purpose I needed for my work computer in my home office. Then, without warning, the monitor “fell on its face”. At first I thought I was fortunate to be in my office when it happened because I kept it from falling to the floor. When I reconnected my work laptop to it, I discovered the screen was damaged. This was very discouraging. After four months, I’m in the market for a new monitor again.Please understand, I worked in technology for 10 years, setting up computers almost everyday, and never had anything like this happen.

Home office must have
I got this simply to clean up my home office desk space, basically hoping to use it as two screens without needing a second monitor. I put it together in under a minute and it connected to my Lenovo laptop quickly and easily. Probably 5 minutes tops I was up and running including downloading the software. You can split it into up to 4 screens, which I have not tried, my main use being either the 2 screen split or the PIP. For example, keep an eye on a WebEx in the PIP while working on the the main screen. Side by side split screen works well for (say) creating a ppt, cutting and pasting from another source in the other window. My only complaint (and it’s a “nit”) is that if you are presenting on a WebEx and “share screen” it shares the whole monitor, not just one of the virtual “screens”. Easily overcome by sharing the app instead of the screen but that was a minor disappointment. Because of the real estate available you can have multiple apps open and move them around to see more than one thing at once. It did take a little getting used to, but I wouldn’t go back to two (or even three) monitors cluttering up my desk now. Highly recommend for the home office.

Fuzzy text
I went from an Ultra High Def screen to this HD screen and was shocked at how fuzzy the text looked. I tried a display port and an HDMI cable and neither produced text that was remotely crisp.

After months of working from home with a small 23 inch monitor I was looking for and upgrade in size and quality and am very pleased with the G 34WN650-W 34-Inch. The set up was extraordinarily quick and easy. I am even impressed with the stable stand for the unit too. Very pleased with the performance, price and value so far.

Not Good
I bought this monitor because I wanted to be able to fit more on a screen at one time. I currently use two 27 inch monitors and my MacBook pro screen to do software development. I figured this could replace one of the monitors and I wouldn’t need to use the MacBook screen anymore. I was wrong. Everything is just bigger. The screen is bigger and the content is bigger. Even at the highest resolution supported, you can’t fit any extra windows on the screen because your content is so huge that you need to keep your windows bigger. I checked and the resolution on this is about the same as my 27 inch monitors. The color is also horrible on this monitor and text is not crisp. Overall, very disappointed. There are plenty more options on Amazon at this size for the same price but with a much higher resolution.

Very good Brighness quality
I work on different tasks at a time. I need to open excel, email, calendar, pdf, sometimes zoom calls at the same time. this 34″ screen made it so easier for me to split the screen. Very happy!

Not for business, gaming, or anything serious.
The way this monitor is positioned that it’s “ultra wide for business and gaming” is 100% horsepoopies. This monitor is low resolution, lower quality, and not at all usable. They act like being “ultra wide” means you get massive space, but google sheets and normal websites are very low-res as it’s only 1080 tall. That’s basically a YouTube video and this monitor doesn’t even have the space of a current laptop. You can’t do anything with this unless you work in spreadsheets and reduce the size to like 50% in order to try to utilize the screen width, because it’s barely usable.If you’re at all serious about anything….look for other monitors.
