Love the Reader mode
I bought this to do a lot of writing and text-based stuff, and I was delighted to discover that it has a Reader mode that makes the whole thing lower contrastor something, not unlike a nice color ebook reader. You can still see the colors but it is for some reason a lot easier on the eyes. Great all around monitor, good viewing angles, I use it both vertical and horizontal since I have the right stand for that. And in my opinion 24 inches is a sort of sweet spot, at least for text-based things.

Died after 8 months.
Fixed my PC last year and had it plugged into my TV for the longest time. Then around Black Friday, I purchased this monitor. Served me well, and had it all plugged into a surge protector.Got home from work and decided to boot it up to work on some projects, and my Asus second monitor booted up but my LG main monitor did not. Tried other plugs. Nothing. Unplugged it all, then plugged it back in. Nothing! Though the power port did spark which is normal but been informed that is a common issue after 6 months that the monitor’s motherboard need repair. Was a good monitor to start out with, but isn’t worth the price for the short life span.

It’s NOT a TV, it’s a computer monitor making it much better
I’ve used 3 monitors for many years (maybe a decade) and 2 monitors 20 years ago. 32″ TV’s used for a monitor don’t go to sleep and wake up properly for computer monitor use. It’s nice to have it come up whenever i get out of sleep of boot up. I use a 40″ in center and a 32″ monitor on each side. 1080p is all you need for office use otherwise you will be turning up your font to read anything on 4K. I bought 2 and wished i had bought 4 because the price raised $50 each within a week. Only draw back is not being able to adjust the height to blend with 40″ well but some of my other setups set flat on top without stands and some are blocked up to proper heights for blending with 40″ monitor. Also, I have expensive self built computers that are fast and expensive/fast video cards and this monitor has a fast response time so i don’t see any blur moving windows to and from other monitors. 32″ standard monitors allow more vertical visual so you can see more of a document. I hate the wide and short monitors because all you do is scroll up and down to read a single printable page of any document.

Not bad but with some flaws
I bought 2 at a nice Xmas price… couldn’t resist. I upgraded to two monitors from my single 24″ samsung that’s from 2014 and was a nice monitor for a long time that still works. These monitors are fine with a couple flaws. The power cords are VERY short. They also have a massive verticle plug unit that takes up not one, not two, but three spots on a surge protector that is vertically orientated. So plug in 2 monitors on a 6 strip vertical surge protector…. you’re done. No more room. Luckily I had another surge handy with the plugs orientated down off the sides. The picture itself is fine, very adequate. Its not ultra crisp and appears just a touch dim for my taste…. but again, adequate. If you put your face up to images theres very faint odd lines or strips? These are super hard to see but my eyes catch them. So certainly a get what you paid for scenario. No serious complaints… Ill ride these out for a couple years and probably switch back to Samsung screens. The quality and finish is just not quite there but for the price im content with the trade off.

Absolutely Awesome!
This was a replacement monitor for my office. I was using an old 29″ Seiki TV as my monitor but I needed that for other things. I felt like I was going to love it and I did expect it to be good since it was made by LG. I have owned LG products over the years and they really have not let me down. I used to buy LG only for my home tv’s for the longest time until I purchased a Samsung TV. I can see that they are still a major player in the home electronics market and their products are still very well made.

Excellent Choice
Love my new monitor. My old monitor would not work with my new laptop and USB-C docking station so I did a lot of research and settled on this LG for a balance between features, size, and price. It makes working with my large spreadsheets very enjoyable. The ability with the free downloadable software to split the screen into various configurations is an outstanding bonus and adds to the functionality. Highly recommended.

Wall mount or buy another stand.
The stand for this is flimsy and allows the monitor to sag forward at the top. I recommend either wall mounting or buying an after market stand for it. Otherwise it is a great monitor particularly if you need the SVGA input as I did.

Why does the screen lean forward?
I’m not sure if it’s the installation that wasn’t done correctly, but the monitor leans forward. Im pretty sure the installation was done right, is it supposed to be a tilt from the bottom ?

Great value priced monitor
Exceeded my expectations for the price. I upgraded from an older 24″ model (5 years old or so) and the sharpness / text clarity is much improved. Nice, non-glare screen, really reasonable color presentation and controls, and the joystick control for setting parameters is a huge improvement over older, individual buttons.I don’t use this for gaming; documents, spreadsheets, email and it’s perfect for those tasks. As a test, I connected it to my Xbox and it looked great.Lastly, I use this with a MacBook Pro and there are 0 issues.

Nice Monitor
It was time to update my 6 year old monitor and found this after a couple of days of searching and reading reviews. I do web-sites, podcasts, a YouTube channel and post on social media. The reviews said if you do games, not so good, but for general internet stuff and business this should work just fine. I agree… clear, crisp text, photos and video. Build quality is great, and plenty of ways to finetune the screen to your liking. Happy with purchase.

Solid deal for a great monitor
I’m a guy that has 3 computers going at all times (work, personal, and media server) which resulted in way too many smaller monitors now I’m down to one. I grabbed a HDMI selector to switch between the different computers and a monitor arm so it’s easily adjusted when needed. Most of my old monitors we on the older side so this was a big step up for me.

I haven’t messed with the settings so this review doesn’t contain anything regarding picture quality
I previously bought this 24 inch monitor. I liked it. It has very important “anti glare” feature. My window is directly behind my back so antiglare was one of the main feature I need to look for.I wanted a second monitor and I could’ve got the 27 inch I guess, but at that time 32 inch was cheaper than the 27 in. WTH, so I bought it.Bad Bad Bad choice.Little did I know (my bad for not reading any reviews about this 32 inch model, thinking it would be exactly the same as the 24in model I have, only bigger), it is a completely different monitor.*32 inch model has a very THICK FRAME. I’m talking about more than half an inch all 4 sides of the screen.*32 inch model does NOT have the ANTIGLARE feature. It’s smooth and I can see my own face like a mirror.*32 inch model has a huge metal block sticks out on the back of the monitor. It didn’t really matter to my mounting method, but it’s a huge eyesore. That metal block thing is about 1.5″ * 1.5″ * 0.5″ and it sticks that 1.5 inch much out from the back of the monitor.* Although I said no comment on the picture quality, one obvious thing is that same resolution for much bigger size monitor means when placed side by side, the picture quality is quiet noticeable. It might not be an issue if you’re using only one.*Same issue as the 24 inch model, super short power cord. My desktop is at the end of my desk all the way opposite from the power outlet. I had to use an extension just for the monitors. It’s not a huge desk and my desktop power cord has no problem reaching the outlet.

Not great for gaming, but excellent for a second (or third) monitor
I already own an LG 32GN650-B Ultragear gaming monitor which features 1440p screen, 165hz refresh rate, great pixel response time, and pretty mediocre HDR. So my gaming monitor needs are covered there. I was however in search of a fairly cheap, 1080p monitor I could use as a second display, and this absolutely suits those needs. I have it set up in portrait mode and use it mainly for some web browsing (as vertical mode seems near perfect for such activities), as well as monitoring Discord chat, OBS, Twitch chat, etc.The 60hz screen is also an added bonus, and it gets decently bright enough for the aforementioned functions.

A decent panel marred by an egregious cost-cutting maneuver
This is a decent display overall with a fairly uniform IPS panel and minimal glow or bleed. The inclusion of a mini-joystick for navigating the OSD is a real plus at this price point as well. That’s really the only positive stand-out feature and unfortunately, the biggest talking point I have regarding this product is distinctly negative. It comes with the flimsiest, shortest, most absurdly out of place power cord I’ve ever seen packed with a monitor. A child could tear the cord in half without tools if they really wanted to. Moreover, it’s so short there’s a good possibility that you’ll need and extension cord in order to reach a power source. This becomes a certainty if you’re mounting it to a desk arm (e.g.. in a multi-monitor configuration) as the power cord will barely reach the base of the arm.On the surface, it seems like quite a bargain for the feature set — and it mostly is — but once you factor in the cost of a grounded extension cord, less so. Very disappointed in LG for such extreme penny pinching that ultimately saves them less than a dollar per unit but costs the consumer 10X that amount to compensate for and makes clean cable management a chore to boot.

This monitor is overkill for my needs
I have two monitors connected to my computer. I have a high quality 32 in monitor and this one. The resuscitation is excellent, the response time is awesome and my games look nice on it. I mostly use it for informational purposes though while I play most games on my bigger monitor. If you want this to be your main monitor though I do highly recommend it. When I hooked it up to Display port though the monitor did not automatically recognize the input signal, so I had to go into the monitor settings to put the input to DP.

Good Monitor for Regular Use
Overall, price-quality is what you get in this monitor. I use it for work and the big screen is what I was looking for. I don’t play games on it so I cant say how it works for gaming. The only thing I dont like much about the screen is that it has too much reflection. For 200 dollars its a great monitor, gets the job done for what you are paying. Not a high end monitor for people who use it for design, photography, etc.

Cable input location does not match pictures.
I had specifically purchased this monitor because the listing shows the power/video inputs as below the mounting point, but when it arrived, the inputs were on the right side of the mounting point instead. This is a problem since I had wanted to mount the monitor on a horizontal bar, which now covers the cable inputs. I was able to make do, but please be advised that if you’re mounting this monitor anywhere, the layout could cause you problems. Otherwise, the monitor performs quite nicely.

Solid Monitor for Price
Bought this monitor as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and I couldn’t have been happier with the way it looks. She loves the 27” screen which looks huge next to her surface pro. The contrast and brightness of the monitor are great as well. All of the ports are easily accessible in the back which made cable cleanup easier for me. No complaints here . Good, but not what I wanted
I definitely have some mixed feeling about this, but my impression is still positive. I got it at a smoking deal, and I’m pretty sure everyones favorite combo is affordable and stylish. But out of the box the display port does not register any input at all. Now I thought I was crazy, but it doesn’t work on either of the two monitors I bought. So I couldn’t do the setup I waa imagining, but I’m still pretty happy for the price I got them at.

A couple bad design choices mar an otherwise fine monitor
Nice image quality, and good price, but there are 2 reasons I would not buy these again.(1) The design of the power cord is such that when plugged into a normal power strip, it will block access to the 2 adjacent power outlets, even more if the outlets are positioned in line with the strip. Not a big deal if its only 1 monitor, but I am connecting 3 of these to a computer and now need to order a special strip that has enough space between the outlets to accommodate these cords.(2) A screwdriver is required to set up the base. Not a big deal either, but I’ve bought enough of these modern monitors to appreciate tool-less setups.

It’s worth it, but remember, it’s 1080p
It’s really quite good for what it is. It’s exactly as advertised and it has some pretty nice brightness and color. Definitely get what you paid for. I’d just caution that as a main display, you might want to try 1440p for more or less double the pixel amount. This would make an excellent secondary monitor, though, and it’s very lightweight. I could see this being easy to travel with and use for anything fitting the display cable options.

Practicality, or not
I haven’t even powered this unit on, so I’ll leave the comments about picture quality to others. Here are some practical considerations:1. On my unit (32″) the input jacks are to the right of the VESA mounting area, not below it. The configuration is the same as shown in the pictures, it’s just been turned vertical and moved over. May affect your mounting options. On the smaller units the input jacks are as shown in the photos. In both cases, the input jacks face straight back (not down). This is either good or bad depending on your preferences.2. The input jack panel is so close to the VESA mounting area that if the plate that attaches to the back of your TV is any bigger than 100x100mm it will block the imput jack panel. As in, completely cover up. One option to deal with this is by using spacers to offset the mount plate from the back of the TV to allow a little room for connectors. In this case you’ll be needing to get right-angle adapters for your input cables (see #1 above). Another option would be to not get this monitor.3. The power cord is truly bizarre – it’s a mere 5 feet long in total, with a barrel connector at one end for the TV and a 19VDC wall wart transformer at the other. It’s not long enough. The wall wart blocks other outlets. Why couldn’t they have used a standard power adapter with a normal C13 or C5 connector like every other monitor and TV? That way we could easily select the right length power cord for the desired location without a wasteful silly useless wall wart thing. Now I gotta buy a power supply with a cord that’s long enough.4. Even if you don’t use the stand and use VESA mounting, the attachment for the stand sticks out the back of the monitor 1.25″. For most normal VESA mounts this isn’t a problem unless you want to flush-mount the TV to the wall which you can’t do because of this thing sticking out. And you can only flush-mount this unit if you have a recessed inset behind it as the cables stick straight out.5. The instruction pamphlet is not great, but what did you expect. It shows cables being included that are not actually included (only a short HDMI cable is included), and includes no information at all about VESA mounting (the screws are spaced 100mm x 100mm). The back of the unit is flat but you’ll probably have to use spacers anyway (see #2 above). This thing was apparently designed in the days before wall mounts, as there is no thought given to how anything but a standard pedestal mount might be used.

Great monitor spoiled by a glossy finish
Joystick controls, much easier than the multi-button confusion of other designs. No dim border around the edge of the screen like some have. Black levels are great.Stand is good although obviously not height adjustable.Design is clean and understated with a non-glossy bezel. But they went and spoiled it all with mirror-like glossy surface. If you’re looking at anything other than a bright picture you will see yourself clearly and anything else nearby or light sources. It’s distracting in dark scenes of movies and ‘dark mode’ apps and websites. Unless you spend all day staring at white documents, I don’t see how you could tolerate it. Nowhere in the marketing or description even on the LG site does it say anything about being glossy.

Inputs don’t switch automatically
The quality of this monitor is fine, but I was disappointed with one thing – it doesn’t automatically switch inputs when you turn off one device. I typically use my monitors with a desktop computer and a laptop. With my old (Samsung) monitors, I would manually switch the inputs for the laptop, but when I turned the laptop off the monitor would automatically switch to the active input for my desktop (when it was on). I know it’s just a few button clicks, but my old monitors were over 10 years old… seems like a feature that should have been included with newer monitors.
