Not what is expected from LG product line
The monitor has hidden underneath a “wobble switch” it only goes to power and exit otherwise it goes into power save mode. The accompanying literature is only to put together, sell you a advance insurance for break down. The plastic is CHEAP and does not feel as a known nomenclature. It is aa shame that good products name has taken the road of cheap and worthless.I still have a monitor whose name will be hold that I bought 35 years ago, and it still works.

Very short power cord
I am giving this product 3 stars because it comes with a very short power cord. I have two much older flat screen monitors that I am replacing that are not mountable and their standard power cords are noticeably longer. These monitors are mountable which means they should be convenient for use with a standing desk, even if they are not mounted on adjustable arms. These monitors will require you to buy extension cords if you want to use them with a standing desk and barely offer enough extension if it is a sitting desk with mounting arms.

Good monitor. The stand may disappoint.
So far a great monitor and super light weight. A little disappointed the stand it comes with has absolutely no articulation or swivel to it so it has a downward angle and I needed to buy a separate stand. Thankfully, this has a VESA pattern on the back so finding a different stand is relatively easy and I can mount this screen virtually anywhere.

It gets the job done for the money and 60 Hertz, but…
I like the picture quality for everyday computing. If you’re into gaming and high-speed graphics, I’d look elsewhere since it runs at 60HZ, NOT 75 like the listing on Amazon says. The most annoying thing when it is turned off and back on again there appears this touch screen control panel right in the middle of the screen blocking the view for what seems like an eternity (actually about a minute). Why they put that there is unknown since the monitor is not a touch screen and one cannot use it! Other than that, it gets the job done.

Image was washed out
I connected this monitor up next to my other two monitors using both HDMI and Display Port connections and found the monitor paled in in comparison. The image was dull and washed out looking. I even tried using the display controls to enhance to no avail.

Not a good monitor choice for multiple monitors
When MS sleeps the monitors, this one actually goes off. Upon waking the monitors, everything has moved off this monitor to my other two. I have tried to adjust the power settings both in Windows and on the monitor with no success. I wouldn’t recommend this unit no matter how inexpensive it is.

Another great display
I bought the 27MP450-B last week. I was super impressed with the picture quality. I wanted two displays so this week I bought the smaller 24MP400-B (mainly because of desk size limits). I installed the 24 inch display with no problems. It comes with an HDMI cable. I’ve read people putting down the power supply that plugs into the power outlet. My solution was easy. I have Belkin 8 outlet power strip. Problem solved. The long power supplies can easily hang over the side of the Belkin. Now for the picture on the 24MP400, I told my computer to put the same background pictures on both the 27MP450 and the 24MP400. I then adjusted the picture quality and the colors to be same. It worked! I have great pictures on both screens. If you are trying to decide between the 27 and the 24, I think the picture on the 27 has just a little better resolution.

Doesn’t really tilt
I like the monitor. The description says “tilt”. I would think that means that you can tilt the monitor screen. However, in this case, it means that the base is elevated in the back. That is the only tilt provided.

Good picture, convenient controls, no malfunctions
I use this to watch videos from a laptop while in bed. The picture is sharp and clear, I see no flaws in the image. I use browsers and VLC and other software on this monitor and I like this one’s aspect ratio better for software than wider formats. If I were to watch nearly just videos, no software, no browsers, I’d want a wider format monitor so fewer movies have black bands at the top and bottom. I’d get an LG unless some company I’ve heard of drastically undercut them on price.

Great monitor for the money
I work a part-time remote sales job, and I’d been using a 22″ tv as my second monitor. While it wasn’t ideal, it got the job done. However, I needed something with a little better picture quality, response time, and brightness, and this monitor solved all of those problems. I also play video games from time to time, and the monitor works perfectly for that as well. My only complaint is that the base it comes with causes the monitor to have a natural downward tilt, but I was able to use a small book to prop it up & offset that with ease. It’s a very well-built product, and I would recommend to anyone who plays video games or does any computer work from home!

How do you talk about a monitor?
Well, a monitor is a pretty straight forward deal. It’s got the specs you’d expect to find on most average, every-day monitors. In layman terms, it’s got crisp, clear graphics. There’s no lag noticeable to the naked eye. And, it’s about as durable as your standard LG product. It can withstand the test of a houseful of children, if that says anything. Basically, at this price, it’s a pretty sweet deal – considering just like all LG products, you’re getting the same thing other companies charge double for, just for their name branded on it.. And this is built tougher, in my opinion. Good stuff.

Nice monitor for my Mac Mini
I purchased this 24MP400-B monitor to replace an older 19″ screen that was lower resolution. The LG’s larger 1080p display provides excellent resolution. It’s not actually “borderless on 3 sides” because there’s a 1/4″ border on 3 sides. A similar model, the 24MP450-B claims “virtually borderless” which is a more accurate description. When using 2 monitors side-by-side, it leaves 1/2″ between the two screens–better than most monitors in this class. The 24MP400-B connects with the computer using either HDMI (preferred) or the older VGA connector. The 24MP450-B adds a Display Port and earphone jack. Otherwise the two monitors are pretty much the same. The manual spec page indicates that the recommended resolution is 1920×1080 at 60 Hz. The LG website says that the monitor is capable of 75 Hz. Which is correct? Both, actually since it works at both frequencies. By default, the monitor connects with the Mac at 75Hz. In the 75Hz mode, sometimes when the monitor wakes up after a computer sleep mode, there’s a screen full of snow. This problem happens less in the 60Hz mode. I don’t know if it’s a monitor or computer issue. The monitor returns to normal after toggling the input. The power button/joystick is directly behind the LG logo on the front and easy to miss. The owner’s manual isn’t very clear on the location of the power button or its functions. In fact, the owner’s manual is quite poor as it’s written for 10 different models. Pressing the button quickly pulls up a menu that lets you adjust quick settings, the input (VGA or HDMI), picture settings and general information. There are lots of options for those who like to tweak their monitor. I have found that the default settings work very well. The plastic monitor base is very basic with a flat surface (to help reclaim some of the desktop space taken up) with a vertical tilt swivel on the monitor. For stand or wall mounting there is provision for VESA 75mm x 75mm mounts.Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. The LG’s virtually borderless screen gives the monitor a sleek, modern look that matches well with the minimalist look of my computer set-up.

Good monitor, easily installed, dual input options a plus. Rich set of screen adjustment options.
The monitor is very nice and easy to mount with its lightweight. Having both VGA (called D-SUB IN, why?) and HDMI inputs is a plus for use with another monitor, which is how I am using it. It took of fiddling to figure out how the “joystick” ON/OFF button works but once I did I really liked it. The monitor has a lot of options available, so it took a bit of experimentation to determine the best combination, but as I got use to how the switch worked it became easy. Recommended.

Extremely wobbly base
For the price, it’s fine. It’s great. Had for 8 months now without anything going wrong or any issue, no burned out diodes or unusual dimming.Took me several months before realizing that the base stand can be adjusted to tilt the screen up or down. Before that I was resting it against a book to tilt it upright. But main issue is that it wobbles very hard. I thought it was wobbly because it was leaning against the edge of a book, but even on setting it down on a solid surface, it wobbles a lot. My desk is naturally wobbly sometimes due to having only 2 legs instead of 4, but if I push my knees up under the edge, it will stop wobbling.Even doing that, the monitor will wobble a lot on its own. If you have a separate solid monitor stand, I would say to get this monitor and put it on that. Otherwise it would probably be more cost effective to buy a monitor with a more stable base if you cannot handle the wobble.

Good second monitor
This monitor is great for a second monitor. It’s 1080p, relatively cheap, pretty light and easy to attach to a monitor stand. I would not use this as your primary display though, because it’s only 60hz. But it works great for discord and games like cookie clicker!

Great size, great price!
I like my replacement monitor, I use it for work and the reason why I’m not giving any stars for gaming. the only one thing I did not care for is that it did not lift high enough for what I’m use to as I have I need to have it at eye level. I end keeping it and buying a glass support table to get the height I need it.

BEST MONITORS EVER
When I say I did a TON of research, I did probably 24-48 hours of research before landing on these. They are super simple to setup up, they don’t take a lot of space up and the picture quality is TERRIFIC.If anyone is looking for some good, inexpensive monitors, GO WITH THESE. You WON’T regret it.

cheaply made
So we got this monitor for work. It was a good price, considering i got some Dell units at the same time for someone else that was slightly more expensive. However, once we got it, I thought I ordered the wrong thing. Its very light, but very cheap feel to it. The plastic frame makes it resemble one of those prop monitors you can find in Ikea’s office setup instores. You also had to screw in the monitor to the stand and the base to the stand. All the other monitors, including other brands (Asus/Acer/HP) in this same price point had monitors that clicked into the stand, and the base with the twist knob on teh bottom. This monitor is ok, but I will NOT be getting it again.

Wow – loving these monitors.
Not too big. These were on sale so I decided to upgrade to two new, larger monitors. I was afraid they might be too big, but they’re just right. Really good picture quality. The power and settings are via one “joystick” button on the center underside of the monitor. And they’re super light weight, which makes moving them around on my desk so easy. Really loving my upgrade.

Great Monitor
This has a very small monitor bezel edge which is nice. My second LG monitor is also a 24 inch but has a thicker bezel. I use both as a dual monitor system and they work great. Both monitors using Windows 11 are color calibrated with a Spyder 5 Pro so I have good color for my photo manipulation projects. Even though my monitors are HDMI capable, I have connected both to a Zantec Video Card to achieve better color balance than what I got from having both connected via HDMI.

This was purchased as a temporary monitor while my LG 34″ Ultrawide is being repaired. I am not too eager to buy another high-end LG monitor but this one was less than $100 and is an IPS panel. I feels and looks rather cheap but should hold me over until my 34 is hopefully repaired
