Really smart
For our small room it’s loud and clear enough and with a good picture. Pleased in what a TV set should be for. On top of that for me it was a relief to set it up so easily. So kudos to LG on this. Comes pre-programed with plenty of applications to choose from. Some are free. Connection with Roku was easier than 1,2,3.

Good value
Great picture and sound quality. We are using it as a monitor for classroom instruction and it works very well for that. Our space is small but this works great places on a raised cabinet. Not using any of the streaming apps.

Beware if you think you getting all the features on this model you’re not!
Although I’m very impressed with the picture quality. The sound and the smart apps. I am very, very upset because I thought this was going to be available with the magic remote and I found out after I got it and after posting a note that this model did not come with magic remote. Apparently this model is no longer available in the US. My question would be is are going to be a firmware update so you can live up to your quality commitments and service?

It’s a great TV for the money.
I love this thing. Not sure if Amazon is still selling these, but I’m glad that I got one right before it was listed as Currently Unavailable. To keep it simple, I purchased one to use as a computer display and it works great. Great picture quality, nice interface, and it’s feature-laden, with all kinds of apps. I use it as a computer display, but it doubles as a TV. It’s a win-win.If I had a complaint, it would be that the remote isn’t backlit, or at least had glow in the dark buttons. There are a lot of buttons on the remote and in the dark, it can be hard to differentiate between what is what. Not a big deal for me because I’m not using it primarily as a TV, but it is something to note. Also, the app system that LG uses to control the TV through the app requires you to provide your location and leave your location services on, which I’m not very fond of. It’s for that very reason that I don’t use it.Other than that, it’s overall a great television and I’d definitely recommend it. If I had a need for another one, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it.

DO NOT BUY. Died after 6 weeks.
After only 6 weeks, this TV died. Although there is power (19 volts) coming out of the cord based on volt meter readings, the unit itself had no power. LG offered to repair the unit if I purchase a box and packaging materials to send it back to them. Their customer service on faulty products is unacceptable, and their product is abysmal.

Works as advertised
Not a 5 star because LG forces you to create an account.

Great TV but reviews misrepresented capability
The reviews I read prior to buying this said that Direct tV would work on this TV without another device. It does not.You cannot download the Direct TV app. I can on my Samsung Smart TV.

Great value with Smart TV features, vivid picture.
Put this in the kitchen atop a wine rack. The small footprint base was the determining factor, but he picture and features were a pleasant surprise. The sound is a little harsh, but manageable. I would buy this again.

Piture and sound very good, except for sudden changes
Sound is sometimes abrupt and annoyingly loud, Picture flashes. Maybe it’s the HD, but the TV can startle, especially when I doze.

Absolute Worst!!!
I bought my father this TV for Christmas and it stopped working after only 5 months. Countless phone calls and hours on hold with the WORST customer service and he was told to send it in for repair. After receiving the TV, they told him they would send a new one. This was two months ago and still nothing. No one is helping and we are SO sick of sitting on hold. I have been a faithful LG customer for years, but no more. I will tell everyone I know to avoid LG after this horrible experience. It’s too bad because I used to love their products.

Sound
Other reviewers mentioned the sound quality not as nice as they expected. I changed the sound settings to “cinema” and it sounds much better for movies. This tv replaced the monitor on my desk in the bedroom. I added a ROKU stick and it works great.
