Best 24 inch 1440p
I had switch from 1080p to 1440p and had to go 27inch monitor but always really liked a smaller monitor for gaming. Would recommend this to anyone that wants the 1440p on a smaller monitor.

Good performing monitor with an annoying flaw
The monitor performed well enough but has one issue that I sent it back over.If the monitor was by itself, it went to sleep just fine. In a dual monitor setup, the monitor would go dark, windows would make a redetecting new hardware sound, then just the backlight would come on and stay on. My second monitor would sleep properly with no problems. I am back to using the two monitor setup I had before getting this one and have zero issues with them sleeping properly.I contacted support to help resolve the issue. After several emails back and forth, their final bit of advice was to just press the power button. That was unacceptable since I wanted the convenience of it sleeping properly.

Amazing for the price
The image quality is amazing, and all the other specs are just as they specified. The only complain I have about this monitor is that the included stand is too weak causing the screen to move when I make big mouse movements or play games even in a sturdy desk. Even then, the rest of the product has been amazing, and this is just me being picky. Recommended.

Good monitor
Says adaptive sync haven’t really heard anything about that. So how to Google it’s it says it works on both Nvidia and free sink. I gave it a lower score in the beginning but had to change my review because it’s actually on the monitor settings and you have to turn it on the booklet they gave you doesn’t really tell you anything but I put a few photos up and hopefully other customers can turn it on

Excellent Gaming Monitor with a Displayport Issue
The KOORUI 24.5 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor is an excellent choice for gamers. The Full HD resolution and VA panel deliver vibrant and crisp visuals, making the gaming experience immersive and enjoyable. The 1ms response time ensures smooth and lag-free gameplay, while the FreeSync & G-Sync compatibility enhances the graphics quality. One thing to note is that I encountered an issue when connecting the monitor through the DisplayPort. Whenever the monitor went into sleep mode, it would occasionally restart upon waking up. To avoid this problem, I recommend using the HDMI port instead, as it doesn’t exhibit this behavior.Aside from that, the monitor’s features are impressive. The 144Hz refresh rate (via HDMI) and 170Hz refresh rate (via DisplayPort) provide smooth motion and reduce blur. The sRGB color gamut coverage of 99% ensures accurate and vibrant colors. The monitor is also VESA mount compatible and allows tilt adjustments for added convenience.Overall, despite the displayport issue, the KOORUI 24.5 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor offers a fantastic gaming experience with its high-quality visuals, fast response time, and advanced features.

great screen some downsides tho..
it’s a great monitor don’t get me wrong but it just has no speaker so you cant hear sound unless you have headphones or speakers to plug into it. It’s great for gaming or for work or anything overall and a good price for it it’s very stable and easy to install and put together

Great upgrade for the price
The brightness is a little low but if you are in a dark room, it’ll work perfectly. The SRGB mode feels a bit too warm sometimes but nothing some calibration can’t fix. The other modes seem quite underwhelming but the SRGB seems good enough. The ghosting is pretty limited, the overdrive can help but I wouldn’t recommend the extreme option as it causes the most overshooting in terms of ghosting, so normal or off will be fine.It feels pretty light but is very sturdy. The only problem I can say I have is that it heats up quite fast, but then again, this is my first high refresh rate monitor so I could be exaggerating. But yes, it can get hot quite easily, especially around the bottom of the screen.Overall, I have not a single regret!!

Pretty much your only option for 24-inch 1440p high refresh gaming currently
Better than expected considering the unknown Chinese brand. The colors are pretty yellowish out of the box but if you fiddle around in the settings they can get to an acceptable level for gaming and general media consumption. I also want to mention that I do not have the sleep issues that another reviewer mentioned and all my monitors sleep as one would expect. If you only do productivity or need to be very color accurate for work, I advise you to get a different monitor but for gaming this is a pretty good choice. Here are my settings for a base line:Brightness 75Contrast 50Red 50Green 47Blue 54HDR OffFreesync On (This is off by default)

Its a decent monitor but the stand ruins everything
I don’t know what’s with the trend of monitors coming with completely trash stands but this is definitely one of those. The monitor tilts way too far forward and you can’t really use it without buying a monitor arm or a 3rd party stand. Which is why I’m taking a star away. At first, I noticed the really smooth 240 hz but in the game, it felt like motion blur and everything looked kinda shitty. I adjusted the monitor response speed to fast, turned off freesync and everything looks pretty good and responsive now. Don’t expect everything to look good at first when you get this thing set up, you’re probably going to have to play around with the settings to get the desired result but this monitor has been performing stellar so far besides those other things.

No microphone
I recently purchased this monitor. I am very happy with the brightness and picture quality. However when I plugged my headphones in. It turned out that the audio jack doesn’t have a microphone. The sound quality is great but the fact that there is no microphone lowered my rating.

Ridiculous value for the price
After using another 27 inch gaming monitor that cost about 300, that was really good, I wanted to get a 2nd one to extend my screen. I bought this one after reading some reviews that said it was a great bang for the buck. And they were right. In gaming mode it’s really impressive. I have played Fortnite and Overwatch and the color and response time are amazing for a 210$ monitor. I would go so far to say it’s on par or better than my other more expensive gaming monitor.

Everything is perfect but they lied about the 165Hz its capped at 144Hz
The monitor is amazing with beautiful screen and has good color. The only issue is they lie about how many Hz the monitor is. I went into my settings to change it to 165Hz and the max i was aloud to set it to was 144Hz. I still think the monitor is worth buying but please dont lie about product details.

Extremely satisfying quality for $200, great refresh rate, decent brightness, comes with one of the best monitor stands at this price. Default color is a bit yellowish, would recommend tuning Red to 48 and Blue to 52 for a more balanced look.

More than pleased with the monitor !!!!
This review is for the 27″ QHD IPS 170hz monitor.PROS:-The price…200 bucks when i bought it a couple of moths ago.-The bightness : its so F bright that u gonna need glasses or your eyes gonna melt , seriously. Yes, it is a pro cause u can still adjust it to be lower.-Decent image Quality Overall. True QHD.-Pretty decent with blacks, and Ghosting is almost non-existant. (at least for me)-Using it with display port cable at 1440p 120hz sometimes 170hz , 0 problems.CONS: “These are stpid considering the price , seriously”-The back Joystick is horrendus, its like an old synchronous shift lever LOL.-Takes 3 LONG seconds pressing the joystick to turn OFF the monitor. (No, u cant change this at all ) I recomend you to just leave it on with a nice screensaver lol .-Color preset from factory is good enought, just get used to it trust me…there is no point trying to change it too much cause the options are not that impactful.CONCLUSION: Im looking to buy another one for my wife at the same price (200) , like I said before the CONS are far from being a dealbreaker for me.

Great value but do not expect the best quality
EDIT: Support has reached out and refunded me 10 USD for the bad DP cable. They seem very helpful.I ordered two 24 inch 1080p 165Hz IPS monitors for 101USD +tax each.Pure panel performance is great. Overdrive does not really help with ghosting, and there is no backlight strobe option. While it does trail the more expensive monitors, for the price it is understandable. The plastic stands are wobbly, but that’s only a problem if the table isn’t stable. You can always use the VESA mounts. The display comes with display port cables, but one of the two cables I received caused intermittent black screens.

Good with some issues
The overall quality of the monitor is good and the display looks amazing. I do however find issue that there is no way to turn off the power indicator light, when my computer goes to sleep this monitor does not turn off, and after 2 months, I have a dead pixel. Despite these issues I still like and use the monitor everyday.

Great quality
This screen is pretty amazing for the price. 165hz refresh rate is pretty awesome. Granted I am coming from a screen that had 75hz so the difference to me is phenomenal. The blacks are nice and dark and don’t look greyed out.I work from home and I use this screen for work as well. But when I have finished my tasks and there is nothing else for me to do, I use the button on the back to switch the input to my gaming PC.Speakingg of the button on the back, it’s real easy to use and I love how you can move it to make your selections instead of there being a bunch of other buttons to navigate. Although the button does feel like it would break easily if you’d get too rough with it.I’d recommend this screen to someone who wants a decent screen but doesn’t want to break the bank.

Lots of Ghosting
When I first got this monitor the screen was pretty dim until I manually adjusted the brightness myself. Once I did that I was able to see all the ghosting this monitor provided. I thought this was fine until I started playing Crisis core Reunion and it was very noticeable during the cutscenes and some in game scenes. Really wish I could’ve returned when I had the chance. Would not recommend for gaming.

Great budget display
The media could not be loaded.
I like this so much i bought two. One for my desktop and the other for my PS5. I had a previous non curved 27″ Koorui before that I like and still using. Because of that experience and more research, I found this as the best option for me. What I like are: overall design, sturdy, 1000R curvature, 360º tilt and up and down movement, HDR, ease of use joystick style display controller and obviously the 2k 165mhz 1ms. Cons: The DP to DP cable that came was useless as very few devices have a dp cable in the back. I had to invest in a thunder port to DP and HDMI to DP cables to get the 165 kHz. The HDMI ports are 2.0 so it does not support the higher refresh rates. During connection with the ps5 I had a scare when the monitor started flickering as shown but after a restart it went away. Other than that it is a great display.

Not bright enough, backlight issues, edge is 1/4″ wide
I am replacing two cheap, 10 year old, 24″, LG monitors with something that has better refresh rate and colors. The 165hz refresh rate works great and the colors are vibrant, but the brightness is just not enough even at 100%. Also, it seems like the reds are very strong, so I tried adjusting the colors separately, but I just can’t seem to get everything balanced correctly. White still doesn’t seem very white and the left side of the screen seems to have a slight darkening from a non-uniform backlight, but I only notice that when looking at something with a very light background, like a webpage, or when using it for work. I could probably get used to everything just fine, except for the lack of brightness. I do like that the connections face down to make it cleaner because the backs of my monitors are visible. The left, top and right edges have the frame, which is very thin, and then a border inside that, so the total distance from edge of the screen to the edge of the frame is 1/4 inch.

I don’t know of a single monitor at this price point better than this monitor
This monitor was amazing for the price point. I originally got it for nearly free by making an amazon visa card. The monitor is amazing with my gaming computer that has a gtx 3070. It is able to show very good contrast although it is an IPS display. The best thing about this display is that it is an IPS display. I currently have the monitor hooked up to a monitor arm. Because it has an IPS display, I am able to view the monitor from different angles and still see all the color without it turning white-ish.I was originally sceptic of the monitor because of its sketchy brand name but after a little research, they seem to be a supplier for a lot of more well-known brands. Take the leap of faith and buy the monitor! The only con I can think of while using the product for 2 months is that the menu navigation system feels cheap and I wish there was a button to change from HDMI 1 to DP 1 so I don’t have to go through the menu to change between my computer and my ps5.Overall, great product and I recommend it.

Good colors, fast panel, wake from sleep bug though
I was able to grab this monitor for $110 and decided to calibrate and try some games on it. I did not notice more than average IPS glow or any lag or ghosting. Color wise here are the settings I used.Brightness (120 nits): 70Contrast: 50Color -> ‘User’Red: 42Green: 44Blue: 50Everything else was left default. Using my Calibrite/X-rite ColorChecker colorimeter, I was able to get an avg deltaE of about 0.3 and 94% sRGB gamut coverage, 134% sRGB volume with my specific panel and ICC file. The only issue I have that when the display goes to sleep, it disconnects/reconnects on wake up. That means that my desktop has a slight delay before being responsive whenever my monitors turn off when idle. Other than that design flaw the monitor is great and well worth it for gaming and media creation on a budget.

A rebranded HKC MG24P1QS, or for those of you in US who can’t get the AOC Q24G2A/BK
Found this unicorn: 24″ QHD 165hz. Most monitors with these specs will be 27″. Glad I went with 24″ vs 27″, I did not lose much horizontal screen real estate compared to the 34″ – granted they were the same QHD resolution. I’m using a DP to USB-C adapter to a MBP 16″ with no scaling.I had been using an ultrawide setup for the past two years and then tried the OnScreen Display app to split my screen real estate for a month. It got annoying enough for me to downsize.- I hardly use most of the space and it’s easier to snap windows into a smaller display rather than using an app or the Mac’s “left/right side” positioning.- It’s great for having two Excel sheets side by side; for my use case, it still involved a lot of horizontal scrolling.- Sharing this screen over Zoom is easier without needing to scale display to 125%Text is crisper at 122 ppi vs 110 ppi, a definite upgrade over a 24″ 1080p at 92 ppi. For my use case, I work with a lot of text, numbers and sit relatively close (<24") to my display (even if they are mounted on monitor arms)I haven't gamed on this monitor yet, initial impressions are good with the thin 3-bezel look. Most users will probably not need this or have a USB hub or adapter, I'm lacking USB-A and USB-C PD on the display itself. An adapter with these attributes would cost $50-80. There are lower refresh rate 1440p monitors out there that have USB-A and USB-C ports. For the trifecta, you'd be spending double the cost of this display. For the price, the Koorui GP01 is a bargain.

Happy customer, completed my setup.
Had a 27 inch monitor before this, this is just insane now. This monitor is cheap, but quality. It’s worth spending an extra hundred dollars to get a bad ass monitor compared to getting a 28 or 32 thatll be slightly cheaper. My only mistake while setting it up, is I used the old hdmi cable from my old pc, instead of the cable that came in the box with it. And I couldn’t get it to 165hz refresh rate, but only 100hz untill I used the cable from the box then it automatically synced to 165hz. worth the $300. I’m gonna go game LFG

Great refresh Rate
This gaming monitor is a visual delight, offering vibrant colors and sharp details that enhance the gaming experience. The high refresh rate and low input lag ensure smooth gameplay, especially in fast-paced scenarios. The adjustable stand provides flexibility for finding the optimal viewing angle. While the price is slightly steep, the performance justifies the investment for serious gamers. The bezel-free design adds a modern touch, making it a visually appealing addition to any gaming setup. Overall, a top-tier choice for those prioritizing performance and immersive visuals in their gaming monitor.

DO NOT BUY. dead pixels or ghosting after barely a months use
i have used this monitor with my new pc setup for about two weeks. the monitor remained in the box for a while as i worked through technical difficulties with my new build. it was long enough for the return window to pass, unfortunately, and now that i’ve started using the monitor these lines have begun to develop on the screen. to be clear, this is not the result of burning onto the monitor. i don’t leave my computer running while i’m away, i put it to sleep every night and the display turns off automatically after a few minutes, and i have been sure to turn the pc entirely off once a week to preserve it. despite my efforts these lines have showed up completely out of nowhere, and are only getting worse. the first photo is yesterday and the second photo is today. the different color is irrelevant, don’t mind that, but you see what i mean. more lines have appeared. there are some in the center of the screen not pictured that there was one of yesterday and now there are two of today, and i can assume this will continue until the entire display has essentially become a sheet of paper. save your money for something better, because i am now out of a lot of money because of the seller’s complete lack of quality control.if you’re stubborn and still think you should buy it, allow me to give you a few more reasons not to;the strange shape of the monitor’s outline prevents you from putting any kind of cover around it in a consistent way.it has no brightness controls on it’s own. enjoy your eyes being constantly bombarded with blue light at max brightness!like i mentioned before, the display automatically turns off after a few minutes of inactivity. this would be a good feature if not for the fact it also forcibly disconnects random devices from your pc. i hear the little disconnect-reconnect sound with every mouse shake to revive it.in addition to that, it takes way too long to come back awake when that happens, and the pc is fully responsive too, leading you to click random stuff. which you will do, because it doesn’t wake up from mouse movement. it has to be a click.for those of you this did work for, all the power to you. i just can’t personally recover from the fact i am losing money for something that is entirely the fault of the seller.UPDATE 10/19/23i have contacted customer support for the company and they proceeded to ignore me after giving one reply. the lines shown in the photos have consumed my entire screen are impossible to ignore. do not buy this, they have no quality control and will not take responsibility for their flaws.

I bought this monitor to replace a dead Dell gaming monitor and man, what a find. For the price you pay, it is a great buy. Great Monitor, but its 144hz not 165.
So this monitor so far has actually looked really nice, however i am knocking off a star because its advertised as 165 hz refresh rate when i go into the monitors UI however it says 144hz, Not that big of a deal, but it is misadvertised, the 34 inch ultrawide 3440x1440p monitor is 144 hz not 165 hz. Colors however look great on this monitor i actually have a gigabyte 32 inch monitor already and the colors on the koorui monitor look better then the colors on the gigabyte monitor. In my testing on monitor calibration websites the color range of this monitor is basically perfect where my other gigabyte monitor starts blending colors together at extreme levels of ranges, this one there is still a slightly noticeable difference between every step in a color range, image quality is great, however the native sound on the monitor is absolutely horrible, but thats honestly to be expected i use a headset/speakers anyways as i expect most people do. If you are questioning buying this monitor cause the brand is unknown, like i initially was don’t its better then multiple large brand name monitors i have tried (MSI,Gigabyte, and ASUS)

Best bang for your buck!
I was honestly expecting to see nothing but cut corners with this monitor…I mean how could it not be, when it is hundreds cheaper than similar monitors in this feature range.Man, I can safely say I’ve yet to find a cut corner to complain about! Be it the 165hz, the stunning HDR, GSYNC working right out of the box, the mega curve and overall great picture quality… it all leaves me feeling as though I must have dropped at least 600-700$ on it instead of the 300$ I actually did!Truly, within this first month, the only “negative” I’ve found so far, is how thin and light the monitor is. While it’s good for moving or mounting it, but in a blind rub down test the plastic feels cheap and the weight is surprisingly hollow. That hasn’t effected my enjoyment of it at all, that’s just the only real thing I can find on it to remind me “oh yea, this was only 300$ and not 700$!
