Kickers are great (with a subwoofer)
You have to know going in that kickers work best with a subwoofer. The speakers work as a treble and midrange and a subwoofer gives you the bottom range.

Best Ever!
100% awesome. I got two sets of these for the front and back of my car. I added a new Sony high powered stereo (45w rms X4) and now these Kicker’s really sound amazing. If you like Bass you’ll love these Kicker’s. Even without 45 w rms these preform great. I got a third set for my truck and it’s stereo puts out 22w rms and they also sound awesome. I’ve tried other brands but none of them sounded as good as Kicker’s.

Waste of time. Go for quality!
First off, I’ve never liked kicker speakers. Speaking off subwoofers. Garbage brand if you ask me. I thought I’d give the door speakers a chance and it didnt change my mind the slightest. For mids and highs they work pretty good. Clear sound. No bass what so ever. The bass in my blown stock speakers sounded better than these. If you want quality go with something different. I reccomend Rockford fosgate. The only reason I got these kickers was to save 30 bucks. I ended up returning these and getting what I originally wanted, Rockford.Spend the lil extra and get quality. Dont waste your time.

Not a perfect fit, but they work.
They didn’t fit my rear doors in my ford ranger super cab perfectly the was a gap in one side but the holes lined up and they have pretty good bass just make sure to adjust your eq settings on your radio to make a difference

Great speakers
Great speakers look sweet in my truck great sound lots of bass down side the tweeters peak at 90% volume but I’m using a cheap head unit. I have matching 10″ subs and the sound is perfect and clear.

Dollar for dollar-nothing can touch these.
I have a rather large sound system in my work van, with four amps, three subs and four of these speakers-and these things are bright, clear and have amazing volume (they are powered by a JL Audio four channel amp). Dollar for dollar, they cannot be touched by anything else that I know of.

Not plug and play with factory head unit
These speakers look like they have great potential, but they sound terrible when connected to the factory head unit on a 2013 F-150 without an amplifier. The frustrating part is nowhere in the description does it say an amplifier is needed. I ended up replacing them with original Ford speakers which were about half the cost of these Kickers and the sound quality is great once again.

Very nice sound quality.
Bought these for my 2011 mustang and they fit perfectly. Easy to install just had to buy some adapter cables for the positive and negative connectors on the speaker. For the price point these are nice. They sound great and the bass is respectable. Very good buy.

Great wired to an amp but not so great with stock amp
Good brand and product but prefer the Fosgate P1683 to these. For $20 more you get much better bass non amplified. They had a weird hollow bass and the Fosgate just has more punch and full bodied sound.

Great bargain! But…
These speakers sound amazing. The mids and highs are clear, and they have just enough lows to give you a good kick. However, I strongly suggest that you pair them with an amp that can handle 50 to 65 watts per channel. I personally paired them with a KICKER 46CXA3604T amp since I purchased 4 (2 pairs) to replace the stock speakers on a 2005 F150. I used a very cheap unit that was rated at 25w per channel, and they sounded fair. However, the difference was day and night once I powered them by the Kicker amp. You can get a more powerful amp, but I’d say save the money on a bigger amp and invest in bringing in a sub and a 2nd amp if you want to go louder. I am a home audio expert (not car audio) and I stand by my claim that you can’t go louder than 50 watts without incorporating a dedicated subwoofer to handle the low frequency. Otherwise, you’ll just have a very unbalanced loud sound that becomes annoying to listen to after 100 watts of sound, which is what I did.

Best replacement for stock systems
The speakers are a nice addition to my truck. The speakers have cleaned up the mid and hi end sections of my truck’s audio system. The head unit is an aftermarket Kenwood unit, no amp or any other additional items. The head unit made a big difference although the Kicker speakers have upped the ante, raising the bar adding a larger surface area over the stock speakers. Help with the higher bass spectrum is evident. The added cone surface area allows clarity to the upper bass, mid-bass, mids and hi’s. The charity allows a separation of the various frequencies. The replacement speakers are a nice addition to the front doors of the vehicle. The trucks stock subwoofer has be come much more noticeable and for some reason it too seems to have cleared up. I am pleased with the new additions and now am thinking of the possibility of replacing the rear door speakers with a set of Kicker 6×9’s for additional depth to my humbled system. I listen to mainly heavy metal, classic rock, with various other styles of music. I enjoy a very thick but clear guitar crunch such as Heathen (Breaking the Silence), Anthrax (State of Euphoria/ Got the Time) to Melody Gardot (If I tell you I Love You), Caro Emerald (Liguid Lunch), among other styles.🤘🤓

Excellent replacement speakers for 2010 Mazda 3!
I bought 4 of these speakers as replacements for the original blown ones in my Mazda 3 and they sound excellent! Easy to install with a set of Mazda speaker wire adapters and 1/2 in spacers in my car. I have them hooked up to the stock stereo and the stock stereo can easily drive them.

Great value!
Fit the rear deck of my 2003 grand marquis very well. Had issues installing them in the front doors due to needing a spacer, but I managed to get it to work. You may want to get a rubber or foam part on the rear deck as it does vibrate the deck sometimes

Replaced factory speakers with these, love them!
These speakers replaced my OEM 2010 Escape’s front speakers, and I love them. They don’t bottom out or distort vocals when the low frequency sounds are playing, and I actually turned the bass down on my stereo because I’m afraid of blowing them out. They do use coaxial connections, so I had to snip the plug-type connections and splice the coax ones in, but that was an error on my part. Check your speaker connections before buying new speakers, because I didn’t.Either way, love the speakers, powerful, and clear.

Decent speakers
I purchased two sets and installed them in a 2004 Ford F350 work truck. The screws that came with them were junk and had to be replaced. I suggest something like foam tape be used to cut down on metal to metal vibrations. If your not installing them in a giant tin can of a truck like mine, I am sure your results will be a lot different from mineMy review probably doesnt really count as I have no way to push 75 watts RMS into these speakers. At 22 watts from my Kenwood head unit they were extremely disappointing. At closer to 45 watts (after adding an Alpine KTP-445U) they are more of a joy to listen to. Any song over bluetooth that is bass boosted sounds really good but most any song on FM radio sounds a bit bland. If your head unit has a loudness button and some bass boost options and an EQ that you can do lots of tweaking with, they will sound pretty good.

Just get these speakers
Got these for my 2013 F-150. Found a YouTube video on how to get to the speaker, and took me about 15 minutes for both doors. Make sure to order the easy adapter wires to connect it, otherwise it could take a little longer. Very simple and speakers are great.

About average.
Average speaker for the price. Bass is not tight and there is way to much bias towards highs. Would have preferred something more towards mid range. However, plays loud with minimal distortion. If your not too picky and need a solid speaker then this is an option.

Buzzing
One of the speakers was good, the other was buzzing straight out of the box. Tried putting it in different locations to see if it was the wiring, but it sounded bad in all 4 spots. The other sounded good in all 4 spots.

Sound just about as good as the pre expensive KS speaker
I bought a pair of these for the rear deck of my Mercury Grand Marquis and a set of the higher end KS for the front doors. While I love the sound of the soft dome tweeter in the KS speaker, these CS are really close for a little less money. If cost is more important that ultimate sound quality, the CS is the way to go.

They aren’t what I expected.
Installed in 05’ZX3 ford focus, (DD) it was hard to tell the difference between these and the stock, only when volume is at max was able to hear the diff. In the crunchy crispy tweeters. Maybe they need an amp to prove their performance, but I have a great deck, and if you’re thinking of buying these & you only have a deck, DON’T!! save your money. Stock sound 95% the same.UpDate 4/2022 one tweeter has blown.

Not very happy
I bought these after doing quite a bit of research on them. They seemed like nice replacements. I put them in and on of them makes a really weird high pitch squeal when playing music. Very annoying and I expected better. Other than that they are sub par.

These fit my 2007 Mazda 3s perfectly, and work well with the stock radio. Turned the radio up loud enough to hurt my ears and the speakers performed well with no noticeable distortion.
