I like this case for my Tamron 70-200mm f2.8

Nice case with a strap and it just about exactly fits my Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lens, no wasted space.

    Even better than expected!

This case came exactly as advertised, which in this world seems rare! It’s very well made, and cushy as can be. My Nikon Z 70-200 fits with room to spare. I haven’t (and hopefully won’t have to) tested it’s water resistance, but it looks as though it’s up to the task. Highly satisfied customer!!

    Great pouch for dry weather

I doubt it will protect from any rain, but otherwise, it’s a great pouch.

    This fits perfect

This fit my Sigma 100-400 lens. Padding is great with a compliment of straps and neck strap. But from watching videos the handy mesh pouch on the led is for holding small extra’s or lens cap.Why the zipper on the inside of the bottom of the pouch, this prevent me from wanting to place my lens in the pouch without the lens cap.

Perfect fit for Olympus 100-400mm lens

My new lens didn’t come with a pouch of any kind, so I am delighted that this bag fits it perfectly. I showed it to some camera club friends and they commented that it looked as if it would float, but I don’t intend to test that theory!

    Bought for a Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 G2 tight fit.

Bought for the Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 G2 lens this is the closest to fit measurement wise however is a tight fit by its length but next side up is to big. This is a great case for the lens and has many options for attaching to you or your gear when out on a job. Very good choice for a 70-200mm lens.

    Protection is great

The case is great. Good protection. I have several in different sizes after buying this one. All are of very good quality. Highly recommended but be sure to check the size of your lens. The exterior is larger than the interior due to the padding.

Excellent protection for my Nikon 200-500mm lens!

I love this thing. It’s very well padded and Iove that it has a zipper closure and not a string. I bought it specifically for my Nikon 200-500mm lens and it fits perfectly, including the lens cap and tripod mount bracket. Totally recommend this thing if you have the same lens.

Perfect fit for my Nikon 200-500 f5.6!

Holds everything (hood in reversed storage position), including with tripod foot. NOTE: lock your zoom in the 200MM position, else pulling out of the case may extend the lens.

    Good case for my lens

My Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens fits very nicely in this JJC DLP-7II case. The padding seems like it will protect the lens very well. The zipper, when closed is designed to hold a small lock. The shoulder strap is decent and has swivel clasps. I feel comfortable carrying my lens in this case when I travel.

Plenty of room, but the strap isn’t safe!

So the case is a little bulky, it feels sturdy and should do the trick. I needed it so that I could carry an extra lens around and quickly swap them without walking back to my camera bag. BUT….I highly recommend buying a different shoulder strap! The one it came with detached near the clip when I picked it up and there wasn’t even a lens in it. If I’m putting a $500-$1000 lens in this thing I want to know that it isn’t going to drop on the ground.

Just as if not even more comfortable than many “complementary” pouches that come with lenses > $1000

The value is very, very good.Just don’t expect it to be “waterproof”. Barring a dry bag or heavy duty rain sleeve, nothing will not get soaked after a time in a humid and/or rainy environment

    Convenient

Can’t speak to it’s water resistance, but it is a solid, relatively lightweight and inexpensive case for my 70-200 Nikon 2.8. I will often throw this lens and case in my back pack and don’t worry about whether the lens is protected. Would buy again.

    Great for Nikon 200-500mm

Works great for my Nikon 200mm-500mm lens. The lens is so massive it won’t fit in any bag that I’ve purchased. Using this bag as a secondary for my lens had made things much more manageable when swapping lenses on the go!

Also a portal to another dimension

This is a very functional case for my Nikon 200-500mm lens. Much to my suprise, this bag serves as a dimension to another portal!! I couldn’t resist the swirly blue lights at the bottom of the case and I jumped right in. I can’t tell you what’s on the other side, though. You’ll just have to buy one and find out for yourself!

    A little over the top

I was looking for a case to store my EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS ii USM lens. Along with the hood and mounting ring. I purchased those pouches and none would fit the hood or ring. So I found this. It is huge, it is oversized for what I need but it is wide enough to fit the accessories of the lens. There really isn’t a size in between that would work. This works great for storage between photo shoots. I feel confident in leaving my lens in this.

Perfect for my Nikon 200-500mm lens

I splurged and got myself a Nikon 200-500mm lens for bird photography recently and knew that it would come with a thin pouch that wasn’t supposed to be very protective. I wasn’t going to trust my new, expensive toy with that bag, so I ordered this one to keep it safe. It is perfect for my lens. I flip around the hood and the lens and hood fit just right in this case. The padding is nice and thick, so I feel like it will be safe in it. The strap is perfect for slinging over my shoulder to carry it with me. Overall very pleased with it!

Great Fit for my Nikkor 200-500

I needed a safe carrying bag for my new Nikkor 200-500, so upon reading the 1000s of reviews, I decided to order this bag. It was comfortable while on a 4 mile walk. Strap is adjustable, with option to carry on belt. (Which may be too heavy to do.)It has a small mesh pocket in top part of lid, which was perfect for the back end lens cap and a cleaning cloth. The zipper has an option to add a small lock as well. It is padded, but unsure how well it will protect glass when dropped. (Not going to try!) The front lens with cap slides in 1st, so I am cautious to not drop it. Overall, thus far item was as described and works for me now.For the price, it was a great deal for me.

    Greatlycarrier!

This is a great supersized lens carrier! I use this to carry my Nikon 200 to 500 beloved lens. I had to have a way to travel with that large lens without letting it roll around in the car. I was skeptical about how protective this case would be, but it is very sturdy, and of course, I haven’t tested it, but I think you could drop it and the lens wouldn’t break. I love the long handle that I can wear crossbody. It also has a velcro loop on the back that allows me to attach it to my rolling suitcase. The lens hood as well as the lens drawstring cover also fit inside the case with the lens. It is perfect! If you are looking for a way to carry your Nikon 200 to 500 lens, this is a great value!

Nikon 200-500 VR Lens – Will fit inside with the tripod mount installed

Very nice carrying case that protects my new Nikon 200-500 VR lens even with the tripod foot mounted to the lens. Definitely made with durable materials, even the zipper. Quite pleased with how well this will protect the lens. Carrying the lens with the shoulder strap is very nice, too. Only questionable part are the clips that attach from the shoulder strap to the case D-Rings. Plastic, that may not stand up to a lot of bouncing around should you have to run with the case carried using the shoulder strap.

    Fits the Nikon Z 400 mm f4.5

Got this for my new Nikon Z 400mm f4.5. I was worried about the diameter, but there is just enough room (hood a wee bit tight pulling the lens out, but easy enough and may loosen with time). Tight fit in both width and depth when both the hood and tripod mount are on in their normal shooting position. With the hood flipped in shortage position it is a very snug for both lens and my Zii body. So more than enough room for the lens by itself, including extra filters and the like in the top mesh pocket, and in fact it is perfect length for the lens with hood flipped and a 2x teleconverter attached…which I think will be my default use). In general do not like zippers on lens cases (always the first thing to go bad), but I am very happy with the case overall: Materials seem sturdy, padding seems adequate for storage inside other luggage or bumping around the car in the field, and there is a carry strap with multiple hooks and belt fold to attach this case to other backpacks or luggage. The price point for this case is excellent for what is delivered, and I am very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely perfect fit for the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F/5-6.3 IS Lens

This fits my Olympus lens perfectly and seems to be well made and well padded. I’m sure it will be fine in the long term and it’s nice to finally be able to keep a rather expensive lens in a well fitted sturdy case when it’s not being used.

    Fits Nikon 200-500mm Lens Perfectly!

I bought this for a Nikon 200-500mm lens and it fits perfectly (minus the hood), including the mounting bracket. The quality looks reasonable, except the clips for the shoulder strap, which are plastic. I can’t vouch for how it holds up to water. It has a canvas loop on top but I do wish it had a hand strap for carrying it in a horizontal orientation. Considering other available options I would buy it again.

This is a great lens and camera holder; I no longer need to carry my camera backpack when doing short wildlife hikes. It holds my Tamron 15-500mm and Sonya7ii. It has a shoulder strap with a pad and makes the carry easy. I ordered a smaller one for my Tamron 70-300 lens also.

Good Case for Panasonic Leica 100-400mm

The biggest pouch in the Amazon Basics 4-pouch set is a bit too small for my 100-400mm f/4.6-6.3 (I had to sew that one back together after its stitches started unraveling due to the lens-hood screw pulling at them during removal.) I refuse to keep my biggest, heaviest & most costly lens stored without extra protection, though, so I looked around & bought this one. Now I just leave the hood attached & pointing out, collapse the zoom, twist the lock ring, dunk the beastie inside, zip it up & go.The PanaLeica fits snugly lengthwise but loosely across this case & that situation works out just fine; I’ve tightened the straps around the outside so that the optic doesn’t wiggle. If I drop it, the hood can absorb extra front-impact energy while the touch of air space around the lens allows for its heavily padded fabric to squish & deform instead of immediately transferring force to the lens barrel. The few times this has fallen out of my bag have been from about 3 feet/1 meter in height, & during each it has simply plopped onto the floor with a reassuringly pillow-like sound & light bounce rather than the frightfully dull thud I witnessed when I bumped the Amazon pouch while merely sitting on a table & it lurched over onto its side from no height whatsoever. There’s a carrying strap here, too, so if I want to hike & shoot without a bag that’s no problem: I just pocket an extra battery & my memory cards, then stroll out with my camera on a strap & my zoom on my shoulder.Water resistance is a little lacking, but only because the kinda’ tight fit of the 100-400 makes the zipper prone to not quiiiiite closing entirely… A skinny carabiner through the zipper pulls’ lock holes would take care of that in no time, however. If you also have the PanaLeica 100-400 this is a decent quality, budget friendly carrier that protects its contents very well.

The pouch works great and with the JCC belt, often keeps me from having to carry two cameras.

I like the way this JJC pouch (bought sevral sizes) works with the JJC GB-1 Adjustable Photography Utility Belt which I also purchased. Instead of carrying a camera bag for a hike and two bodies with lenses on my shoulders, I put one pouch on the belt, selecting one based on the extra lens I want to carry and carry only one camera body most of the time (still using two bodies with lenses for events where a near and far zoom are needed, rapidly such as weddings and sporting events). I may select one pouch slightly larger than the lens to hold filters or spare batteries at the bottom of the pouch.I have used the pouches to carry a flash, camcorder, or ThinkWare Snap-G 4K Gimbal camera (mostly for video). Gimbaled cameras are a little difficult to carry around and I do not like the camera flopping around when not powered up, they do not lend themselves well to being carried by a neckstrap. This belt and pouch solution works well, and I place the gimbal camera, lens down so I just grab the base to remove it from the pouch.

Good quality third party lens case!

I recently purchased a secondhand Pentax SMC Takumar 6×7 400mm F4 lens which is quite large (almost a foot long and nearly six pounds). The case it came with back in the early 1980s was long gone, so I wanted to find an expensive third party option. I’m happy that the JJC DLP-7II fit the bill perfectly. The case seems like it was made for this lens. The padding looks like it’d suffice for a day out in the field, as long as you weren’t going to bang it into anything sharp. For what it is I am super happy with my purchase.

    Quality Case

This feels like a high quality case. It fits my Tamron 70-200 perfectly in length but has some room in the diameter. This might be a good thing though because you might be able to store the lens with the hood on (flipped backwards). I need to get a hood still so I wasn’t able to test that. This is the second case I’ve purchased like this. The first one, for another lens, was so nice I decided to get one for my other lens.

Nice value, but a little too small for the Nikkor 200-500mm with an ArcaSwiss plate on the foot.

This a nice case and a great value, but my Nikkor AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E barely fits in it. My lens has an Arca-Swiss type adapter attached to the lens’ tripod foot. This makes it a very tight fit. But, it’s already a tight fit for the lens with the lens hood mounted in its inverted position.I can’t just pull the lens out of the case, I have to carefully work it out. I also have to remember to lock the lens’ zoom setting at 200mm or it will extend when struggling to remove it from the case.If this case was about an inch larger in diameter, it would be a nice fit. It would also fit well if you were someone who removes the tripod foot for hand-held shooting and doesn’t use the lens hood.
