    We’re loving our new TV

We’ve had it for a couple months and it’s been great. I love the way it organizes all of your shows from each app right on the home screen. The picture quality is good for the budget price. It even has component inputs so I can hook up my old school gaming consoles.

    Perfect size and easy installation

This is our 2nd fire TV from Amazon! We like to watch different programs at the same time. Easy to operate with voice control and everything that you’d possibly like to watch. We all love it.Sharp picture and sound

Good HD TV for the money

If you pick one of these on sale it’s an excellent TV for the money. Easy to setup and the picture is great. Sound is pretty good too. Only complaint I have is the remote control is rather basic, hence 4 stars. But overall I’d say it’s a good value.

    Great for the Outdoors

We purchased this TV to be our patio TV and couldn’t be more pleased. Set-up and integration were seamless with my only complaint is that I can’t watch the TV after my wife goes to bed.

    We love this TV

The picture quality is excellent with little screen reflection (our previous TV screen showed reflections of many items in the room, especially lamps and windows). With one exception, it was very easy to setup. The exception was our need to play the sound through the TV speakers (for my wife) and headphones (for me as I am hard of hearing). The TV instructions specifically state that it is possible to play the sound through the audio jack and the TV speakers. Not true 🙁 We solved this problem by buying a TV Soundbar. If it wasn’t for this one defect, we would have rated it 5 stars.

    No Buyer’s Remorse

So far, there is nothing I don’t like about this TV. 50″ screen is good for my 14’x20′ front room. The picture quality is great. I enjoy the Alexa voice control feature. I can still use my ROKU system for my other TV. Amazon Insignia is very user friendly. Set up was easy peasy.

    Love my new tv

55’ for $200 is crazy but that’s what I got this for and let me tell u it’s a GREAT steal. When I tell y’all the picture is awesome and it came with an Amazon remote plus has direct tv (even tho I don’t have tht just streaming services) I thought that was super cool. Was easy to put together BUT the screw holes were misaligned so we had to work on one side for a bit to try and get the screws in. Alarmist thought we’d have to return it, other than that it’s perfect.

    Good for the price…but.

Not long after purchasing the remote started eating batteries every couple days didn’t think much off it just kept replacing them with rechargeable ones I have, but come to find out its a known problem and many have had their remote replaced at no cost. I have reached out to Best Buy several times about getting a new remote but they don’t seem to care even though it’s a known problem.

    Go-to TV option

We have several rentals and I have purchased various sizes of this TV for all of them. I was worried that the tvs would quit working after a few years, but these have stood the test of time. They are user-friendly (which is huge for me with guests rotating through the rental) and provide good image quality. We only provide streaming in our rentals and have not had a single complaint. I have been very happy with these TVs, especially for the price.

Surprised at How Good for the Price

We just set up and programmed this TV and I’m very pleased with everything about it – especially for the price. Once we connected it to the WiFi network, everything else was simple. It also was very easy to integrate the remote with a Bose soundbar. Picture quality is excellent and you have a 4K option if you want to improve upon it even more. Highly recommended.

    GREAT with Alexa

I love being able to turn the tv on by simply asking Alexa to do it. Great for waking up. Much easier than fumbling with the three remotes in the dark. Let there be light! Alexa can also go to any channel or show, adjust the volume, pause and so many other fantastic things. The greatest tv I’ve ever owned.

    Lightweight, great value

Arrived well packaged. No missing parts. I was amazed at how light it was. I’m 60 and I was able to lift it without help. Minutes to put the stand on the tv. The other one (we bought two) will be wall-mounted. Turned it on. It Updated itself. I have no problem using a smart TV, but my 80 year old mother is mystified and can’t do more than turn it on. That’s not the manufacturer’s fault, but it might be something to consider in future smart TV designs.

    A really great value!

This is better than a Black Friday sale. I didn’t have to act like a linebacker after the ball to get one! LOL. A great TV and monitor, but make sure it’s connected to a good antenna for live TV. It does give you access to Hulu and other streaming apps, but for live TV you will need a good antenna. I hope this helps.

    Incompatibility with some apps?

Overall I love my new tv!! Super quick and easy setup, my only complaint is that I tried downloading Hulu and it’s telling me that this app is incompatible so I cannot stream it from this tv. I’ve never had this issue on any of my fire sticks in the past so wasn’t expecting it to be an issue here. Has anyone else run into this? Or have a resolution? Other than that I think it’s great!

Beware – Fire TV’s force you to download an app to screen share Android devices

My biggest complaint is that BEWARE – Fire TV will NOT screen share an Android device without using their app. Why in the world do we need another app? An app for literally everything?? Ridiculous. No thanks.

    It hums

I took a chance on an Insignia TV…..Easy to set up great looking picture BUT it HUMs! There is an annoying low hum that comes from the TV. I bought this to replace a dying TV in our bedroom but it hums and was driving us nuts. So I moved it to another room where I usually wear headphones to watch movies. I would give it 5 stars if it didn’t hum and with this hum I would be very very hesitant to buy another one. I might pay extra for another maker that I e had before.

FireTV interface is cluttered with promotional junk. Mid-screen menu is clumsy and far inferior to Roku design in this area. Ability to customize this experience would be greatly appreciated.

Amazing tv for a great price

I saw this deal back in July and ended up buying two 55 inch tvs and one 50 inch. I gave this 4 stars because one of the 55 inches had backlight bleeding so I took it to best buy and ended up returning it and buying it from there with the geek squad protection and no other issues since. All three tvs work amazing and the 4k quality is outstanding. I still got the same price at best buy and the protection plan was a good price for 5 yrs so far happy with this purchase.

    Good value

Decent for the price. Color is not as well balanced as my old non-led 42in LG fhd. Very difficult to adjust for natural color balance, saturation (in particular) and black levels. Very garish color with drastically over-saturated colors as delivered. Also, the fire tv function is slower and glitchier than my 4k roku stick – the external hdmi-connected 4k roku never needs to drop resolution or pause for buffering while the built-in fireTV function needs to do both often enough to be annoying. For the price, it’s not exactly bad but it definitely isn’t great.

Picture quality is good, but navigating the menus is so slow and tedious. Home screen takes full minute or longer to populate apps and banners. Remote also feels like it will come apart any moment. It is a good price and the image is good all things considered.

Great TV for the price!. read for specs

The mount you will need requires a 6mm screw. Mine does not match so here, it is standing directly on the TV against the wall. Won’t be leaving it that way forever but it’s sturdy enough to work because my entertainment center is too heavy for the TV to push it out from the wall. Also the foot mounts are screw in and a bit fiddley – unfortunately their only placement is at each end of the TV so the entertainment center it’s placed on will need to match the horizontal width of the TV.The TV has a beautiful picture, wonderful sound quality and hdmi hook ups.it works with Alexa and pictured is the 55 inch. The light in the photo is from the sunset lamp on the desk, not the TV 🙂

    Huge TV upgrade

I saw the deal on prime day and couldn’t resist a 50 inch tv for $200. I had a 32 inch with a fire sick and I was good. I just couldn’t pass up the deal. So now I have new furniture to accommodate this giant tv. I wired it instead of wifi and I am loving the ease of use having the fire stick built in, It has a great picture and sound and is super fast. No buffering issues. The remote is small and easily misplace but a bright red cover fixed that. Totally worth the $$$

    Great tv for the price

First off, the TV is a great deal for the price. It has a very nice picture and good sound quality. I did have to tone down the back light a bit, I purchased it for a bedroom and it’s perfect for a second room TV. I tend to like a bigger high quality TV for my primary viewing. In regards to the Fire TV integration, it works well with some quirks. For instance, when ever I turn it on, the cursor position controls don’t work. Everything else kind of does. So I find I need to hit the prime video button to get full remote functionality. I believe this is a Fire TV software bug and will hopefully be resolved by an update in the future. Also, if you are familiar with the Fire Stick interface you will find this interface to be somewhat different. Some of the Fire Stick setting menus do not exist, so things like checking to see if an update of the software is available cannot be done. You can’t even determine when it last was updated. I guess you just have to trust the TV and Amazon to do those things in the background. It’s definitely a learning experience, and I have to admit, I like the FireStick menus better. (I have a FireSick MAX 4K by the way)Update: I rebooted the TV with a cold reboot (unplug AC, wait a bit, plugin) After the restart I had a current FireTV interface, and full function remote. So now I go with a full recommend.

A Smart TV running Fire TV

I have a TV with Fire Stick. I have a TV with Fire TV. I have a TV with Fire TV Cube. The TV with the Fire TV Cube is a Smart TV but the Smart TV features for someone who only uses streaming services over WiFi (No Antenna and No Cable) was not as good as Fire TV. I like Fire TV because I have all my streaming services, and more available, and a format that makes it easy to operate on any of my TVs. The Insignia 65″ FireTV is the best. The single remote, Alexa, “my watchlist” works better than any of the previous opetions. The internal operating system is much improved. This TV is in a remote resort location and operates on a 4g signal putting out between 1 mbps and 5 mbps and runs very smooth. I need only one of the 3 HDMI inputs to connect a DVD player. My sound bar connects with one skinny optical wire. Nothing else to do and it was on. Ok Boomer, I connected like a pro! The 4k picture is great. Bought this from Best Buy over Amazon on Prime Day and saved $100.

Great TV for the price! eARC issues were my own!

I ordered this TV and picked it up during the Prime Day event. It is the best bang for your buck when it comes to TVs. I also ordered a soundbar which gave me huge issues. At first it didn’t work – and then it the soundbar would cut out after a few minutes of having the TV on. Turns out I hadn’t bought an HDMI cable in the last five years or so – I was cycling through old, outdated cables and that was my issue. I bought a modern HDMI cable (they aren’t all the same) and it works like a dream. I smile when I turn the TV on now because the picture is so clear and I feel like I am actually watching a modern TV!

    Great for the price!

Sharp picture, easy to operate, good color and sound quality. Remote is only hold back since operationally some selections buttons are very stiff to press. All features work. Not using Alexa voice feature remote since I don’t own an Alexa . Use a Cable box, since signal very bad at my house. TV not mounted, but fine on a tabletop wide enough to fit a 50″‘ screen. I had an 42″ screen Insignia TV for many years without a single problem, but finally had to replace it cause it just got really old and decided to retire. 🙂

They say these models are on the lower end things. I wouldn’t know it though except for the price. The picture looks great and the tv looks good too. The built in fire-tv has a bit nicer interface than my old fire stick. Switches seamlessly between digital antenna and online content. I recommend.

The picture quality is great, and the price was great!

The picture quality on the Insignia 65″ Fire TV is fantastic. I had to change a lot of settings to get it the way I like it, but once I did that, it was amazing. I watched some 4K walking tour videos of different cities, and I felt like I was there.Out of the box, all the special enhancement features are enabled. The expert advice, and my own experience, is that the picture quality is usually better with all all of those special enhancement features disabled. I also tweaked the backlight, contrast, brightness, and color a little bit, to suit my viewing conditions and my eyes.I had some issues with the settings reverting on me, while I was dialing in the pictures, but that may have been because I didn’t exit the menu the correct way. Eventually I got it all set up the way i like it.I was not able to get the Television communicating with my Vizio soundbar over an HDMI cable. I went back to using the optical connection to connect the TV to the soundbar, and that worked immediately.I would like the television to turn on and switch to the HDMI input my Roku is on, when I power everything up, but I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. I still have to use the remote control to turn the TV on, every I turn on the power strip for my entertainment system. All in all I am VERY happy with the TV so far, after a week of using it.

    Awesome TV

This TV is so much more than expected at the low-end price point. I compared several models, and this 65-inch Insignia was truly half the price of some other TV models I was considering and was equal in picture quality, technology – especially with the Fire TV Edition, better in sound quality – bye, bye soundbar, and faster response time for streaming. With truly little tweaking of the color, tint, and brightness the picture rocked. So, without hesitation, I would recommend this TV.This TV replaced my 9-year-old, 52-inch Samsung plasma 3D TV, which I thought was awesome in picture quality. I had the 4K Fire Stick so selecting the Fire Edition Insignia was a plus but that was far from the only factor. As TV prices started to rise again, money did become a small factor, but I wanted a reasonably priced TV for less than $900. So, if you are considering a large screen TV, this model, I found the 65-inch Insignia exceeded my demanding expectations.

    Great TV.

So far the TV has performed exactly as expected. Installation was a breeze. Installed my wall bracket on the back, plugged in the power and various input and output cords and hung it up. Turned on power and let it go through the software update process and selected my subscriptions and everything came up with no issues. I did a little tweaking of the color and audio settings and everything is working perfectly. The Fire operating system in this tv is noticeably faster than the Fire Stick I was using in my old tv. Totally happy with this purchase.

Impressive FireTV! – couple of tiny bugs

This is an amazing TV, if you take the time to learn all of its features and set it up correctly. It recently received a software update to the new Home interface, and there seems to be small updates sent practically each week, so I commend the Amazon/Insignia team effort to keep improving it… With the new interface, Fire Apps aren’t limited to interlace mode anymore (thank goodness!) – they are progressive mode now! When I turn on the TV, it is smart, like it displays rows of shows or movies I might want to watch or continue watching where I left of (some of Amazon’s suggestions make sense, but others do not – you really have to train the TV by watching things). I really like how each of the inputs have their own individual settings. YouTube 360* 4K vids work well also… I was amazed! However, there are still glitches that I HOPE will get solved down the road in future updates… On the new home screen, when you “remove from watchlist”, it tries but fails to do it… Also, the Crunchyroll anime app does NOT work on this TV – at least until the lazy Crunchy team decides to issue a patch for their broken Fire app (the app has TONS of recent 1 star reviews). Serious anime fans will need to have a PS4/Roku hooked up also.

    A very Clear picture

I bought this tv after checking a lot of reviews and I rolled the dice any way. First of all the tv showed up on time and damage free, not to mention the easy installation. I preferred to use the tv stand because I’m old school like that, and it easier to move if need be. Once the tv was on and connected to the wifi, a few updates were to be expected. But they actually didn’t take to long. Maybe about 35 minutes. I bought this tv to use for my PS5 and nothing els. No cable boxes, no fire stick, no applications installed on the Home Screen. Trying to download apps on the tv was definitely a disappointment. You need to be logged into an Amazon prime account in order to download streaming apps and that may be a deal breaker for most people. The 4K picture is beautiful for my PS5 and I can easily just download my apps there.

WOW! I am amazed, I picked this 65 inch Insignia up for $400 on Prime Day Sale. Normally, it is $560. Still a a great deal. The darks are as you can expect a little less quality than say, a 1k dollar Samsung. But THIS Tv is for budget BLUE COLLAR families who just want a giant Tv for the living room. I am 100 percent satisfied. This is NOT a 65 inch for an enthusiast. This is a TV for working class families and its an AMAZING budget TV. Amazon built in, along with apps. Only thing I wish was included was an ethernet Port. If you are ethernet only, sadly this will not work for your setup. But again, this is an amazing BUDGET FAMILY giant Tv and I am very satisfied.

Bought 2 for family Gaming Room

What I wanted: the cheapest 4k TVs to play video games on. I was NOT looking for “Smart” features. I just want it to be smart enough to turn on. I dont want or need it to think. Just turn on, accept an HDMI cord from my Xbox and one from an Apple TV. And let me alone. What I got?Price: amazing pricePicture: for the price, it’s amazing. Not bad at all for gaming. Avid gamers will point out it’s only 60hz not 120hz. But for normies, kids, teenagers, etc…does the job nicely.SmartTV abilities:-Its…smart-It definitely has preferences-It wants to know everything about you-It feels “cluttered”. Like Times Square Cluttered. So cluttered I forget what I’m doing trying to find it. (We use all Apple products. I appreciate their simplicity). This TV feels like Androids Tv Cousin who suffers from ADHD.The tv is great, but if they would have offered it without the FireTV platform…I would have paid $20 more for that version.

    LOVE this Fire TV!

Seems to have decent picture quality, but I have not bought a new TV for over 10 years so this seems pretty amazing! I think our living room TV (Vizio from Costco) must be just a tad smaller than this, perhaps 50”, but the functions on this far surpass the older TV. Bought this for the master bedroom as we completely remodeled our bedroom, bathroom and walk in closet. Love that I don’t have to stream from my phone to TV. This has it built in and I don’t need to login to each app every time I turn on the TV. Now my kids and I are watching TV in the master bedroom more than in the living room! I think it is time to update the living room TV to this model as well!

    Great value for the money

This is our first fire stick TV and it’s great, until it turns itself off or errors out once in a while. What we didn’t know with smart TVs was when you get off of cable and you do subscriptions the shows don’t start at exactly the right time. They start whenever you turn it on, which is great if you’re missing a show but if you go out of the show to check what shows are on after and it’s outside of that time that the show was on, it’ll automatically go to the next show that’s playing, so you miss out on the rest of what you were watching. It also errors out once in a while, which is really weird. We don’t know if that’s the norm for the fire stick TV. But it’s just something to point out.

    Bang for the buck

For the money the 50″ 4k tv is great, had alot more contrast than my other 50″ 1080p insignia tv, way more depth than the model from 7 years ago, turned down sharpness all the way because some pixels look over lit and may be just a picture error and not an in game issue, been playing kingdom hearts 1.5 rmx in 4k and this looks so beautiful, im so glad i chose this gigantuin television as a desktop monitor. Im feel like im in the game now! I love the legs because they are flat and compared to the sony they have angeled legs and i was worried those would fall off my desk but i really like the insignia legs for my desktop better. Dynamic video setting is alot more colorful and clear,

    Better than I hoped for.

I purchased an Android TV last year that a cat knocked over earlier this year and have been looking for a replacement since, but wasn’t willing to compromise and get something lesser than what I already had. I purchased this 50″ and so far it has been a major relief. I feel like I was cheated out of a good TV experience with the constant freezing, failure to detect the existence of external ports, and just overall poor performance. This F30 had none of these issues and yet somehow the prices are still comparable. The only thing I don’t like so far about this particular TV is that it has several places that always prompt you to log in. While I have no problem logging into Amazon, for example, it’s really annoying to have to log into it multiple times across the platform.

    Good enough!

It’s a 4k internet ready monitor and TV that was only $169. Best performance is with Apple TV, but the Fire TV integration is still pretty decent. If you’re on a budget and looking for something that “will do” in this 4k world, then this is a good option. I have had a lot of TVs so I’m not impressed, especially after digging into the picture settings, but when I use it with HomeKit and play audio through my HomePods, which it does seamlessly in sync without any adjustment, I bump it to 4 stars for ease of setup and universality. Going to explore Alexa more now as well because this is my first Alexa device.
