Better than Fire TV Cube
Interface is faster with less lag than my previous fire tv cube. Easy setup in minutes, both physical and software. My tv stand is 36” wide and there’s only about an inch on either side of the feet…. A bit tight, especially if your a bull in a China shop like me, a little bump and only an inch to go to the ground…. I ordered a pedestal stand for $35 bucks that mounts on the back like a wall mount but has a large pedestal that sits on the tv stand. Much more secure that way.I ordered 2 of the new gen echo’s (not dots) with hopes to use as surround sound and pairs them as a L/R speaker pair, however tv will only connect to one or the other, not the pair, at a time so scratch that if you’re thinking of using echos as sound. Defiantly need a sound bar if you like good sound as internal speakers are average at best, far from cinematic audio.Remote is easy to use and very similar fo the Firestick/cube remote I’m used to so east to adapt.Picture quality and brightness are great, though I do get some glare in my living room which has a ton of window and natural light. Have to close the curtains to watch.I ordered this after researching the Amazon branded fire tv’s (Omni series) and read several 3rd party electronics review websites that suggested this as a better option. It does have way better specs for comparable or even cheaper. Very happy with it so far.

I hate everything but the price.
Let me preface this by saying I never go out of my way to write reviews on any products, but I hate this TV so much that I just had to.I wanted to upgrade from my old Roku TV and bought this during the Prime Day deal because it was one of the cheaper options among similar sizes. Well, now I know why it’s really cheap. Instead of going through the excessively large list of things that’s wrong with this tv, I’ll just go with the things that are good:It’s cheap. It works….and that’s about it.From the moment you turn on the TV they are constantly forcing ads down your throat, demand that you use Alexa at all times, the interfaces are terrible, the wi-fi card must be the cheapest one on the market (i.e. it’s awful), it’s nearly impossible to change any of the annoying built-in settings without a 15 minute Google search first (and some of them you’re not even allowed to change)……I’d go into deeper detail but I don’t feel like writing a 50 page book about why this TV sucks. Let’s just say that I’ve had it for about a month now and still manage to find new things that I hate about it on a daily basis.I will absolutely never buy a Fire TV again. I seriously question the intelligence of the people who were in charge of making this product (have any of them ever used a TV before???), as well as the people who tested it (did they even test it in a focus group first???). If I knew that it was going to be such an awful product, I would’ve just spent the extra $200 on something that wasn’t a giant piece of garbage.Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy this TV…unless you want to buy mine.

Better hope that the remote doesn’t give out
Well, I’ve had the TV for a while now and the remote died. Said the batteries were dying replace the batteries with brand new batteries and I can’t get my TV to come on. If the remote goes you’re screwed not even the remote app for your phone works because the TV Hass to be on.

Perfect to keep an old man happy
Bought for my father who is now in assisted living. Great price on Cyber Monday! He’s addicted to his western shows and he is loving this TV. My complaint is after setting up Amazon and other networks, the remote and set up is so confusing to just go back to regular TV. You have to go through about 6 steps to do so. My Roku TV is much easier. But, all in all, once you get used to the process, it has a great picture and sound. Worth the price if you are good with electronics and don’t mind a few extra clicks on the remote. Must have an Amazon account to add other channels!

great tv with one minor flaw
the picture quality is amazing for the price. I really like the fire tv environment better than ROKU (which is too basic for my liking). the only flaw is the spacing between the leg stands. it is under 34″. Most sound bars are longer than the space give. if they had either made them adjustable or given just 2 more inches, my sound bar would have fit. I had to buy a separate universal stand so that my soundbar would fit underneath. just keep that in mind. if you just leave the bar in front, it looks ugly because there is so much space between the feet and the sound bar in front. Just stupid not to give those 2 extra inches……

Shipping damage–replaced quickly
This TV, ordered January 3, 2023, arrived on January 24, 2023. The box labels indicated it had been shipped across the US in during 2022 from CA to FL to IL to TX. Who knows where the damage occurred, but the box was gouged in multiple places and bottom corner crushed from being dropped. The TV was well packed and protected, so we hoped for the best. We opened the box carefully following the instructions, set it up on its legs and plugged it in. Using the remote, the TV power came on and showed us crack lines throughout. Having purchased this as our first Smart TV we anxiously awaited setting it up and testing it within minutes of unpacking. Tearful disappointment. We immediately filed a replacement with Amazon and requested a UPS pickup. The replacement arrived. The box was in excellent condition. The Hisense TV was beautiful and easy to assemble and it went through its automatic setup and we entered our existing app signons. Wow! We were mesmerized by the picture and the Hisense sound bar delivered perfectly balanced sound. We had gotten off to a disappointing start, but I am totally impressed with this Hisense 58″ Quantum Dot, ULED. It was worth waiting for.

This took 4 different people to get setup. With multiple reaches out to tech support and a visit from the cable company. The instructions are not very helpful even after using the tech support which was not a great experience. For older generations especially who are used to more plug and play method I would not purchase this for them. To this day we are still unsure how the tv is to actually work with cable but we had to buy 2 different sets of cords and a sound bar. We were told that it Might be our cable box but no one can actually identify unless we take the tv to another home with a different cable box and provider. It was 2 weeks before cable could be watched after trying different connections, ordering yet more cables and waiting for them to arrive, and then having to buy a sound bar. If you intend to use the tv for streaming only, then it has amazing sound and picture quality. To flip over to cable, is and has been nothing short of a nightmare. In the middle of the night I heard voices and turned out the sound bar had not been shut off and since we were never able to get sound from the tv when viewing cable the bar is plugged directly into the cable box and was still working. After a month it was still a debate to possibly return it due to the difficulties but in the end we had already spent the extra money for the cables and bar so we kept it and we have a work around to watch cable.

Hands free w/echo but can’t turn tv on or off with voice
I was really excited to find this tv at a $350 price point. I have a fire TV cubes set up with all of my TVs in my home and I thought this was going to work exactly like the cube however, I was mistaken. I was able to link an existing echo device to the TV to control it with my voice for say opening Netflix or going to the home screen, but it does not turn the TV on or off with voice controls. This is very disappointing. I connected my fire TV cube to the TV and I am experiencing some sound issues where I have to turn the TV on and turn it back off again in order for those to resolve. I’m hoping that some point in the future the ability to turn the TV on or off with the links echo device becomes a reality. Picture quality is amazing. Aside from this I’m really happy with the TV. So it gets four stars.

Not a fan of the Amazon TV interface. Average TV
Thankfully I got this on sale. We bought this to replace an old mounted Samsung that we have had for about 7 years (device itself was about 9 years old). The Samsung had screen bleed-in along the edges that became noticeable. While the TV itself isn’t bad. I can’t say that I really notice much of a difference between it and our 13 year old LG flatscreen (Non-smart TV). The LG has some large bezels, so it’s nice to have thinner bezels for a better viewing experience, but the picture quality I really don’t notice a big change from. I also don’t really like the whole Amazon TV OS experience. I much prefer Roku.I really wish you could just get a flat screen TV with no OS on it. Just a TV with HDMI, cable, and audio inputs. I think I would like this more if it didn’t have that Amazon OS on it.

Do you value privacy?
I’ve owned this TV for about a year now. This is gotta be the single most intrusive electronic device I’ve ever owned. It is constantly listening to you even if you turn off all of the settings that are supposed to turn that off.Display: The display is constantly freezing and lagging. It is extremely frustrating when you are trying to get to a certain button and it just freezes, and you have to tap on the remote to get the cursor to move. It does this constantly in all apps.Audio: If you ever have to mute the tv there is a very good chance that the sound will not come back on. You will have to restart your tv to get the sound to start working again.Downloads: This thing is constantly downloading things in the background even when you turn off automatic updates in settings. I do not know what it is downloading but it keeps downloading things. I have a 50 gigabyte hotspot and it’s constantly using up my data. I have looked it up and turned off everything that I can find that could keep it from downloading things in the background. But there just seems to be no way to stop it. The latest update that Amazon has installed will automatically make the banner up top go full screen for a movie advertisement when you start the tv. You have to click the down arrow key to get out of that to go to where you want to go. Otherwise, It will go that movie on Amazon Prime or wherever it is.Back button: When you are on the YouTube app, or any app, when you hit the back button just once it will jump twice and then you will have to go forward again to get back to what you were looking at or what you wanted to get to. This is extremely frustrating when it happens over and over.In summary, I would never have bought this T. V. had I known what it really was. I’m trying to find a way to install different apps that I would like to have but, as of now, I cannot find a way to get them downloaded even with a third party download app. I cannot install firefox or any other web browser besides silk apparently.

Nice picture.
Picture is crisp and bright. I bout this on a whim when it was on sale for prime day at 350 dollars. Definitely worth that price. Took a minute to get all the setting how I wanted since it’s not as straightforward as I would like. You NEED external audio because the build in speakers are garbage.

Ok tv for the price
At first the picture wasn’t great when watching prime or Netflix. It was great on YouTube. Seems to be better now. The most annoying thing about this tv is it powers off way too quickly if you pause your show. For example: press pause to go check on dinner and maybe use the bathroom. You’re gone maybe 10 minutes. Come back and it’s powered off. You have to turn it back on and go back to whatever app you were on. I have found screensaver settings but no time settings to fix this. The screensaver only plays for maybe 3 minutes and then shuts off. Super annoying “feature”. My old tv I could pause and come back an hour later and it was still paused. Also the remote is small. And the rounded bottom ensures it falls off the arm of the couch. Light up buttons would be an awesome improvement as well.

CAN’T TURN OFF MOTION SMOOTHING WHICH RUINS THE PICTURE
I really wanted to like this TV and when I first set it up I loved it. You get a lot of features for the price, the Amazon TV interface works great, and the video picture really looks good. However, as soon as I watched filmed content on it (24 frames/sec), the amount of smoothing just looked disgusting. And after 2 weeks of research and testing, THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. The U6 line of TV’s normally has a setting you can change, but not on the Amazon Fire TV flavor. I don’t know why, but it’s a total dealbreaker.Fortunately I was able to return it and get a U7 with Filmmaker Mode on it, which theoretically senses 24p content and turns off smoothing, etc. It doesn’t seem to work very well in practice, but at least there’s a setting that I can manually turn off now. Unfortunately, the U7 is Google TV instead of Amazon Fire TV, and it’s not quite as good (but it’s fine). And the non-Fire TV is 55″ instead of 58″, which is fine. The picture is also a little better on the U7 than the U6.Incidentally, the return process couldn’t have been easier, so I’m thankful for that!Anyway, I never thought I would get a Hisense TV, but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised, once I got a unit that has an accessible Motion Smoothing setting.

Good Picture and Ads
The picture quality is good. It was too bright for me though. None of the presets looked good. Had to make a custom picture setting. When it is turned on it shows ads of products like cars, food and streaming services. So you need to use the remote to navigate away from that. I’m mostly watching my cable TV DVR box. But the TV wants to come up in the ad mode. So I have to wait for the ads to come up and then select a different input. My other TV remembered which input I selected and would come up there when I turned it on. This one always wants to go to the ad mode. Couldn’t find a way to set the the fault input. The ad mode is probably a feature of firetv.

UPDATED: Do not recommend ANY TV with the FIRE OS
Original review below, here an update on 4/6/2023Hisense TV’s overall are fantastic great bang for the buck TV’s as I have a few of them however, I would NOT recommend buying ANY TV with the FIRE OS. It’s just not developed enough and is missing too many options/controls to where its really a big headache. The BIGGEST problem is you cant ever really power it off. when you turn it off it goes more into sleep or suspended mode. There is not way to configure it so that it actually completely powers down. Its a problem because every few days it goes crazy, apps wont close or just pushing the left or right button somehow opens an open and you cant close it or back out. You either have to go to settings, device and RESTART the tv if you can even get to it and I have had a few times Ive had to physically unplug it. Its not a hisense thing, its fire os thing. I recommend Hisense tv’s 100% if they are Roku or Android. This fire os is just not far enough along yet. Buyer beware.—-Original Review—I love Hisense and have 4 of them, my oldest has the Hisense OS from years ago that they don’t offer anymore, one has the Google Android OS and one has the Roku OS. This one with Fire OS comes up a little short compared to both the Google Android and Roku models but it is cheaper and the U6 series of all 3 OS’s offer great bang for the buck in regards to picture quality and picture features like Full array local dimming and such. So in regards to picture quality you get more in the U6 models than you would from comparable priced models of other brands. Here’s my complaints with Fire OS model (which even though is a U6 model with the same Picture and other features of the U6 google and roku) comes up a little short in other areas.Pros:U6 series more Picture/Sound features than other brands at the price point so great bang for the buckFantastic Picture qualityVery responsive Fire OS compared to my Fire TV sticks that I had, snappy, no complaintsComes in an exclusive size of 58″ which just happens to work for my space as the 60″ (roku/google only) is just a hair too big for my mounting location.Cons:I seem to have to go to settings, device, restart device like once a week because it starts acting wonky and doing this remediates the issue. It clearly doesn’t turn off but more goes into like a sleep state and it just seems to have issues when you “power it on” aka “wake from sleep mode” every so often so the device restart became a necessary evil one which I think is possible to fix (whether they do or not is another question)Little options not available like the red LED cant be changed where on the other ones, I can set the front red led to be on or off depending on if the tv is powered on or off. I like the led off in my bedroom when the tv is off which I cant do, the other ones I have you can set it on or off based on whether the power is on or off. Not a huge deal (a little electrical tape over is my solution) but same series U6 and its not an option only on the Fire OS model. Also the remote is a Amazon Fire remote basically so its RF not IR so my universal controller is no good and I am back to 2 controllers. kind of annoyingI am not going to return it, I can deal with the little annoyances at the price point and picture quality for the price, but next time I will definitely buy the Roku or Google Android model even though they are a little more expensive for the same series.Hopefully a software update remediates the need to restart it regularly and they add control for the front red LED may somehow add a IR option.

Great! But, this tv won’t pair with DISH remotes
So far, we really like this tv. However, expect to use two remotes if you have Dish Network. There is no code for pairing this 58″ model. Contacting Dish tech services confirmed that we cannot use just one remote, period! So, this is what we need to do: turn on using the tv remote, then go to input settings, then choose HDMI1. After that, we use the Dish remote for the guide and channel selection. To adjust the volume, mute, or to turn it off, we use the tv remote. A true pain in the butt, but the tv was a good price. The 58″ fit perfect in our cabinet, so that was our main reason for purchasing this model. I did adjust the sound for less bass and dimmed the lighting a bit, which majorly improved the sound and picture. We have Dish satellite for both tv and internet due to living in the mountains. We have only had this for a few weeks, so I will come back and update in a few months. The set up was easy and connecting to internet was no problem; however, we do not have enough signal strength to stream anything because of our remote location. For now, we don’t mind not being able to use this tv to its fullest capacity, as the tv itself is a major improvement over our old tv. The multiple ports are easy to access. HDMI2 for our DVD and USB port for bluetooth wireless headphones for my hard-of-hearing husband are fabulous bonus points for us!

Love the image Quality and sound! 🤩🤯
The media could not be loaded.
TV arrived safely wrapped up in Styrofoam to protect it. No damage easy to install the stands, and I’ve always had a fire stick, but I love the fact that this is a fire TV! So many more features it seems…. The video/photo quality is out of this world (not sure if my video clip did it justice), and the sound is so good! I’m usually hard at hearing and have my TV volume up to 60, but this TV I keep it at about a 14-16 because the sound is that good! Well worth it so far!

Great TV For Movies
This TV has really good color accuracy with its Dolby Vision and It was quite the noticeable difference from my previous 4K TV. Not all 4K TVs are made the same and this TV makes that quite obvious. Although it is not OLED and will not have the absolute blacks that come with it, this tv gets impressively dark when it needs too and vice versa. If you are able to buy this while there’s a sale, it’s a MUST buy.

Good tv for the money
So far the TV has been great, i had the old Element fire tv, picture had a lot of blooming, no HDR and the picture was always kind of flat, but it did the job. this is like night and day. Picture settings can use a little tweaking but all in all it has a good quality picture out of the box, playing MW2 on my Playstation and the game looks amazing, response times are great, no noticeable lag on the screen, watching Hockey or basketball is good, clear crisp image. so far so good, have it set up to work with Alexa so you can have it turn on the tv, switch to cable, the playstation or open apps (make sure you pair it to your Echo device using the Alexa app). found that my old fire tv remote works with it without pairing so have to make sure the two TVs arent near each other or the remote will turn them both on, so thats the only really drawback. otherwise Hisense did a good job, now is it going to outperform a top line Sony, Samsung, Toshiba or even Hisense tv line… no, but if your ok with spending 3 or 4k on a tv that will be outdated in a few years then hey, go for it. otherwise get a decent tv at a great price (watch out for 3rd party sellers and not sold and shipped by Amazon, they mark up the TV to stupid prices.)

More than expected from Hisense, less than expected from Amazon.
Bought the TV from Amazon, in the ad it stated inside delivery and unboxing. And hulling the box away. Got inside way delivery not the unboxing. I’m disabled can’t do it myself. The reason I bought it from Amazon was for the unboxing and screwing on the legs. It never happened. I got two of my neighbors to come over and do it for me. Called Amazon , on hold with customer service for an hour they said someone will call me within 24 hours .well it’s been 48 hours,. Not a peep from Amazon. So far very Happy with the 75 inch U6 television, outstanding picture and sound . Bought a Sony sound bar but not hooked out yet. Can’t imagine how great it will be when coupled with the Hisense TV. Looking to buy 2 more TV’s for the home. Must say Best Buy is looking real good right now.

Decent budget TV
First thing you need to know. With Xfinity you must select “Amazon Fire TV” as the brand of TV to be able to use the X11 remote control. Other than that the picture is decent. the sound is okay. Matched it with a Hisense sound bar to improve the sound. The Setup is lengthy and somewhat annoying. You can’t just turn it on and start using it.

Great value
Great value for a big TV with built in Amazon Fire smart capabilities. We needed a bigger screen to better suit the room dimensions of our bedroom (my wife needs glasses to see far), but didn’t want to break the bank. This was affordable and does the job. Not the most incredible picture but certainly good enough for most media.

Don’t Buy this TV, it’s Garbage and a Waste of $$
Update: after having this TV for a little while now, I stick to what I said below, but I wanted to add that this is probably my worst purchase ever. The TV turns off randomly. Some of the apps won’t load and then the TV just shuts off. The sound quality is still awful, constantly turning the TV up and down to be able to hear or understand what’s going on, but then the sound is obnoxiously loud so you turn it back down. It’s a constant, annoying battle with this TV and I wish I never got it..We bought this just a week ago during the Prime Day sale. We got it a day early, which was awesome! But after just a week of having it, I already have some things to say about it. Overall, I’m not impressed.Pros:- It definitely has great picture quality. We had a nice Vizio Smart TV that this replaced, and the 4k is definitely more defined and better quality on this TV than our older one.- Gaming quality is great, especially if you just use headphones for the sound anywayCons:- The sound quality is absolute garbage. Shows we regularly have watched sound terrible now. Sometimes you can’t hear what they are saying so you turn it up, and then next thing you know you’re turning it down because it sounds way too loud, but yet it is still hard to understand speech on our shows that did not have this problem on our other TV. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a sound bar (which I have yet to do, but will be soon). The speakers appear to be on the bottom of the TV, so it projects sound right into the TV stand instead of the speakers being on the back (which was what our old TV had, and it projects better off of the wall than it does off of the top of the TV stand)…- We turned the TV off and it ended up being like a broken record and started repeating the opening of the show that was on when we turned it off, except it was delayed. So every 10 seconds the TV would say the beginning of the kids show and then stop, even though the screen was black. When I turned the TV back on to try and stop the issue, it was like the TV was frozen and it was stuck on a gray screen and the sound continued to do the same. So I had to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it.. That was annoying AF especially only one week of having it.Spend the few extra dollars and get a different brand I think, if I had known what I know now, I wouldn’t of gotten this TV….

We loved it…so we bought a second one!
We loved everything about our first Hisense 58” 4K ULED Smart Fire TV, so we bought a second one (and a second Hisense soundbar) for the other bedroom. The picture is bright, clear, color accurate, and sharp. The sound is very good but improved even more by the matching Hisense soundbar we have for each of them. The remote is intuitive, simple, and easy to use and having Alexa available at the push of a button makes finding what we want to watch super easy and fast. There’re a ton of apps available, too.The price is compelling enough but the VALUE is the best part!Buy this TV!

Great picture, good investment!
Very easy to set up and assign to your Prime account.Picture is superb (in my opinion). No issues so far with this TV and I’m something of a Binger so it’s definitely getting a lot of screen time.Connecting Bluetooth devices and other peripherals like a LUNA Wireless game controller was a breeze.I got this during PRIME DAY so it was practically a steal for me!Otherwise, as described!I recommend this product!

Awesome picture!
If you’re an everyday TV watcher as I am this is so nice for the every day guy! You don’t have to spend a ton of money on a TV! I was tempted to buy something more expensive but glad I didn’t! For $649 this is a steal! I realize it’s not a Sony or a Samsung or Lg. I was skeptical buying a Hisense to be honest. Chinese products have had a bad reputation on quality over the years for sure! I hope they have turned the corner with Hisense! So far I’m impressed!

So satisfied
mounted it to the wall with the anchor-free wall mount — and as a cord cut viewer — the built-in Fire Stick App is awesome. And my previous TV died during Prime Days this summer — so the deal was awesome…

GREAT ANTENNA ONLY TV (no wifi required)
Owned this TV over a year. I hesitated to buy a smart TV a long time. Was worried that I’d be forced to use wifi. During initial setup, the TV offered a wifi opt-out. Great! The TV Screen is Beautiful. The TV does not nag you to use wifi. This TV can pause or freeze-frame. You can even rewind a few minutes. One thing, you must have good antenna reception. If not, the channel with bad reception will just go to sleep. Channels with good reception do not go to sleep. Will update this review later.

This is the one
This TV has great resolution, came with no damages and was packaged safely. It was easy to set up and looks great! This is my first time having an Amazon TV, but I like how you can have different profiles so everybody can add their own accounts to programs. This TV has been great with gaming, movies, and we loved testing out the resolution with 4k nature videos on YouTube. I’m glad we went with this one!

good, BUT has issues?
still deciding whether to keep this or not. it has massive shimmering effects on certain images with dolby vision. it has an extremely bad processor for controlling the smart tv…your ARC components wont work well because the tvs processor is cr@p. i get a delay whenever i even turn the volume up or down. i cant stream dolby audio correctly like i did with my last samsung. i have to set it to dolby digital all the time where as before i would be able to choose ‘best option for sound’ and it would give me PCM until a dolby encoded show would come on then it would switch to dolby. with this cr@p tv that doesnt work anymore….the FIRE operating system in a TV IS A NIGHTMARE. wish i didnt have to get FIRE….like i said the TVs hardware is complete garbage. reminds me of my vizio ARC would be so intermittent. until i got a NAME BRAND tv LIKE SAMSUNG AND ZERO ISSUES WITH ARC OR THE TVS SETTINGS AND OPERATING SYSTEM. however the picture on this TV is stunning when not shimmering. its really amazing. granted you will want to chnage the pic settings a lot in the beginning. i really wish ARC and EARC would work correctly and the operating system wasnt so terrible. i absolutely hate FIRE OS. so annoying. BUT when the picture is good its AMAZING anf the price for a 58″ tv with amazing picture caNT BE BEAT….still undecided

Narrow frame – more screen
I like everything about this tv. Picture is more clear, colors are more vivid than my 55″ LG tv and the LG s good bt this Hisense is better.

Excellent value
Bought during the pre-prime day sale. 58″ 4k HDR for $350. Really good picture. I also have a high end LG CS2 I use as gaming monitor; the TV picture is not that far off from that. I was concerned with some of the negative reviews mentioning the motion features. Turns out, I didnt even notice. It picked up my sound bar with no configuring on my part. Its a good set. Recommended.

TV goes ON and OFF all by itself. Sometimes in middle of NIGHT.
I wanted to try a AMAZON fire built in TV. It started out OK. had some learning to do and Alexa can be a problem. Even when not talking to her, she hears something, and uses it to mess up TV. So tried to make sure blocked noises. but then new problem. The TV will turn off which is fine if not watching it for awhile . I always turn it off going to bed. Sometimes I am made awake by Tv coming on all by itself in the middle of the night. No one lives with me or near me. I am alone. No sounds at night. No reason for this to happen. VERY disappointed. If it was not mounted on wall where i need help to remove it, I woudl and replace it with VIZIO which I had before.

Easy setup, excellent picture
Very easy setup using existing Amazon user login and settings. Came preloaded with multiple streaming services and user friendly library search and for additional services was possible. Because of the existing Amazon user profile setup, security verification for preloaded and additional apps is streamlined/very easy/fast. I have a combo 2.4 and 5.0 GHz wifi router and the tv immediately located and paired with my home wifi and has had zero connectivity issues. The Home Screen takes some getting used to (I’ve had the tv for about 2 weeks and it appears to highlight Amazon prime streaming history vs. alternative streaming services that are used more frequently and recently. Previously I used a PS4 and smart tv for all streaming and I preferred the library view of all streaming services, games/activities and additional frequently used apps like music and fitness, rather than just those related to tv and movie viewing.Like that I can use the Peloton app in full membership access mode (doesn’t update on screen rpm/mileage/output metrics, etc. but allows for seamless stacked workouts to be streamed, edited and the leaderboard and timing are in real-time), app only access (great for boot camp classes) or simply to cast the bike or tread visual using the settings menu option. Also iFit compatible for NordicTrak equipment.

Better than expected
I’d have to say that the TV itself is better than I figured it would be. HDR the calibration was very fast and shows a great picture. The gaming on it which was its main intentions appear to be very smooth. For the cost considering it was a discount on cyber monday it turned out a good value for the brand.Looking at it now the price appears to be the same so discount yes… did they just say that to unload more for a newer 23 model…prob so. Would buy again either way for the use it was applied to. I wouldn’t supplement it for a everyday living room higher end LG or Samsung by no means but it was put in a childs room that plays games PS5 mostly so it worked out well and gave them this theater like view. Way easier on the eyes of a kid vs something small which was the whole idea.

Replacement Remote
If looking for a Replacement Remote Control for this TV. Look at remotes for Insignia fire tv, Toshiba fire tv .I bought remote listing “Replacement Remote Control for All Insignia fire tv Toshiba fire tv (Pack of 2 No Voice) Brand: Rupmmehon” and these work for this TV. (No Voice control but most everything else seems to work.)Bought this model remote after trying several other remotes labeled for use on 4k LED Hisense TV’s which did not work. The remote model EN2A27 Does NOT work on this Hisense TV.

Its okay but you can find better
Picture quality and sound are okay. I would not game on this and expect that all shows/movies’ sound will come out differently. This purchase was an extra tv in the spare bedroom, I’ve tested it in our living room for a few weeks and would not recommend it. NOT a quality-for-money product.

Hisense has high quality w fire tv
So I’m a tv snob- budget that is and when I saw this I looked at reviews, the specs, and I was sold. You will not find a better budget tv for the price I assure you. Fire tv software has stepped its game up this past year and it is flawless on the tv. I do wish there was more picture customization options for judder, smoother action and etc BUT I’ve not found I need it yet. I have had Visio tvs for years and although I love them they take hours of calibration – this was a breeze took me under 20 to calibrate for all scenarios. Movie, hdr movies, tv, and casual. If you’re interested but the “newness” of brand throws you off, bite the bullet you won’t be disappointed. Comes with a TWO YEAR warranty whoop whoop.

Picture flickers off and on after about 2-3 hrs being in use.
I’ve had this tv for 5 mths, and just 2 weeks ago my opinion based on the tv went from great tv and money well spent, to what a piece of junk. The picture flickers off and on, just after 2-3 hrs of being on. I can’t get through a movie or my shows w/o it flickering and flickering, and then completely going black after 2-3 hrs. I’m very upset and disappointed to know that I spent $ on something that doesn’t even function properly. Not a satisfied customer and in my opinion would not recommend!

Picture is great
At this price you’ll get a wonderful flat screen from Amazon. It’s a Fire TV. Very easy to use for streaming is a breeze. Obviously you can use it for cable and gaming. Quality is top notch. You cannot buy a high quality product like this by just buying a tv at a store.

A Helluva TV for the money.
This set is a great value for one. My expectations were low based solely on the price point of this particular TV. I was totally wrong the picture quality is very good and vibrant. Sound quality is ok, but hey there are always sound bars available. The Amazon interface is what it is unfortunately but overall this is a great TV, period.

TV Great….Iffy Sound and Remote
I am very happy with the remote. However, the sounds from built-in speakers is just noticeably off.Poorer than the prior TV it replaced (Run of the mill not High-End) and much poorer than my soundbar.Would Recommend having other speakers. The TV does not appear to be compatible with most Multi-Device Remotes.Meaning you need 2 devices to control everything…Bummer.Happy with the Picture and Selection of Apps….
