Impressive
I’ve been using this TV for a little over two months and we love it. It’s the best Roku TV we have ever had and the price was absolutely unbelievable. In the past our Roku TVs (usually TCL Roku TV’s) have been glitchy and it just gets annoying. They would have issues with sound and volume on certain apps, Hulu was the worst. We could have our old TV with the volume maxed and we could still barely hear our shows (but if an ad came on it blew our eardrums out.) With Disney+ it would crash constantly to the point we just didn’t use that app on our main floor TV. Fortunately this TV does not do that. The sound system is great, the display is great, and it works well with all of our streaming apps. It was also extremely simple to set up and add all of our streaming channels to it.

Teen is thrilled with his Christmas present
My kids have never had television in their rooms because I didn’t want them to be antisocial in the house but now that they’re older there seemed to be no reason to say no when my teen asked for one.I don’t know much about electronics anymore because the tech changes so fast. I relied heavily on the reviews and the price of this one and it worked out great for us.We had in-home delivery and setup a few days before Christmas. The delivery was perfectly easy and seamless. They showed up right on time, were quick, and left no mess. We stashed the tv in the basement and brought it up for Christmas Day and the kid was thrilled. I haven’t seen him yet today. I might not.The color is bright, the picture is clear, and it’s sturdy enough sitting on its feet until we get it mounted to the wall. Mounting it is necessary for us because the tv is lightweight and we have both a rambunctious teen and too-curious big housecat. The cat could easily tip the tv over if he went up on his back legs and put his front legs on the screen. It’s a great set at a great price with great delivery. Very happy with this purchase and most importantly, so is the kid.

Skip the tv protection plan
I want to be clear. This is probably one of the best televisions I have owned for under $300.The visuals are beautiful. It’s able to automatically set itself up for a lot of different video requirements. The sound leaves a little to be desired but it’s only $269.Now, I live in a household with young children and the screen was broken by them about two weeks after it got here. The TV protection told me immediately that they don’t cover that and only cover manufacturer defects and power surges, which are already covered by the manufacturer. If you live in household where a child or animal could possibly physically damage the television, then save yourself the $40 on the protection, you’re on your own if that happens.

Issues with DIRECTV universal remote
Nice tv, I bought it for my bedroom good picture and sound, if it would work with the DIRECTV universal remote I would give it 5 stars. Following the instructions to pair the tv to the remote, it works perfectly, however as soon as you try to watch tv other than streaming the volume and mute functions don’t work, you can turn the tv on and off with the DIRECTV universal remote.

Quality at a decent price.
After having to return a 65 inch Samsung to Walmart that was delivered from my local store with a cracked screen, I purchased this Hisense Roku TV from Amazon at a lower price. (This replaces a 65 inch Sharp that went out after about 4 years of use.) It arrived in perfect condition and setup was a breeze. Great picture and sound, but I prefer using my Vizio sound bar for audio. It’ll take some adjustment on my part getting familiar with the Roku TV remote functions. However, it was nice doing away with my Roku Ultra device that required a separate remote. I don’t know how it will perform over time, but I have a 55 inch Hisense that’s been performing perfectly for many years.I just hate having to purchase electronics made in China instead of the USA.

Easy to use and does the job
Works great for me in my home office, I use this to run through a slideshow for wall art. Happy with the smart TV features and Roku functionality. For a smaller TV its kind of deep, so if you want something more flush mount with the wall, this won’t be a good fit for you. Otherwise, its fairly responsive, good image quality, decent sound, great for my purposes.

Great TV, but the Remote is Less Than it Should Be.
I love the TV, but the remote is pretty wimpy. It’s the same remote (or similar to) the remote we use in the bedroom for the Roku connected to a Panasonic Plasma screen that’s over fifteen years old. Television is perfect. The remote, not so much. It’ll pass, but we’ll probably add a universal remote to replace it and add it to our arsenal. That cost will be added to the overall cost of this television and it’s less than par remote. We’ll remember this and will know better when we begin looking for televisions to replace the older one in the bedroom. We’re also disappointed that there’s no other way to introduce audio to our home theatre system without purchasing a third party piece of equipment that will change the digital audio output to RCA inputs. I know it seems like older technology, but the television doesn’t even provide any Bluetooth capabilities to use a third party device we already have. We will absolutely do more research when it’s time to upgrade the plasma screen in the bedroom. We’ll have a similar issue there.Update: We chose to purchase a Roku Voice Remote that works great with our new television. We’d prefer using a keypad, but this works. We’ll probably still go a different route when we replace the plasma screen in the bedroom.Update: We woke up one morning and the televise wouldn’t display a picture. We contacted the vendor and they said someone local would come to my house to see what the problem was. Nine days later, a local television repair company showed up. He and his “helper” proceeded to take the circuit board off my television then scratch up the front screen stating the board was bad and the television was no longer operable. I asked what I was supposed to do with the non-working television and he said I’d have to dispose of it myself. I asked about the $469 I had paid for the television six months ago and he said that Hisense would be reaching out to me within 24 hours. Three days later, Hisense called and said they’d be sending me a refund and I should expect a check in the mail in 10-14 days. I asked about them just sending me a replacement set and they told me that this would not be an option. I even offered to upgrade from a 55” screen to a 65” screen. Nope. Wasn’t going to happen. Four weeks later, the check arrived.Would I ever purchase another Hisense television? Probably not. I think I’m going to take my money and purchase TCL 65” screen from a local big box store. Hisense and their “customer service” sucks.

It’s a good TV. Go ahead and buy it. See review for some small problems.
Needs a volume limiter to set a max volume. I watch action movies with hushed dialogue (or even regular dialogue) followed by gun fights. I am CONSTANTLY adjusting the volume to avoid bugging my apartment neighbors. Dude, just put a volume cap setting into the TV. Also, I’m using my PS5 to provide the internet connectivity. The TV didn’t like connecting to my instaconnect internet, so I used the PS5 for internet connectivity. TV protests periodically about not being internet connected itself. It should stop complaining. LOL. Also, it’s confused about which HDMI my PS5 is connected to. It asserts that PS5 is one HDM1, but it’s actually on HDM3. Still works fine, but it’s a mistake. The TV is a good set overall. Just has some small fiddly things.

Its ok but having issues with loading Netflix!
The TV has issues when trying to load netflix on the my xbox! Even if its the first time loading it I have to restart the xbox then it will load. They call it a smart TV but it can’t figure that out?? Maybe I should have stayed with what I had. Hopefully I hear back on how to fix this or it can go back!

Good as long as you don’t connect it to a PC
Picture is good. Audio is lacking, even for the price. If your primary video source is a computer, like it is for me, don’t get this TV. They did a software update a few months ago and ever since that update I cannot play videos in my browser(netflix, youtube, etc.) without the TV disconnecting from my PC. Only way to reconnect is to unplug the TV then plug it back in. Finally got sick of the issue after months with no software update that fixes the bug and bought a new TV(different brand).

Basic but nice.
The picture is nice and crisp. The speakers need improvement but we use wireless surround sound and the TV is great for this added feature. It fits nice in the space we have for it. It has great options and functions for adding other devices. Overall, we are happy with our purchase. For the price you can’t go wrong. This app asked for functionality of the remote. Ours did not come with a remote so I used one we already had.

Great value
Happy with the TV’s image quality, and the 65-inch size is great for my home theater (my room is about 12×14 feet). The TV’s configuration menu allows you to set an HDMI input upon startup so that you can actually avoid using the Roku UI + smart TV features altogether. This is helpful to me since I run everything from my AVR. I never configured the TV to use the internet and it works just fine as a “dumb” TV for my purposes. When I am watching a movie and the screen is dark (credits, or black bars on the top and bottom) I will notice some mild light areas on the borders of the screen; otherwise I would give this TV a 5/5z

Great TV but the uploaded pictures lie
This TV works great and have no complaints about it at all.I do have a complaint about the pictures in this Amazon listing. The ports shown in the pictures are different than the ones that actually are available on this TV. As you can see from the two pix I uploaded, the TV has only 3 HDMI ports and only 1 USB port. The other ports are different as well. My pictures show this TV does not have the 4th HDMI port, the second USB port, and no RCA connections. The “spec sheet” that’s offered for download list the proper ports that actually come on this TV, but make no mistake… the advertised pictures are misleading. For me, I’m not too disappointed in this though I was hoping to have RCA ports as I’m older and I still use some older devices like a PS2 sometimes that connect via RCA.Again… just be sure to read the Specification Sheet to know what you’re buying. 🙂

Nice TV Nice Picture Very Straightforward
Well packaged! Unit was safe and sturdy. Easy to follow instructions. Gorgeous color and bright all across the screen. Very basic controller that even the most technology-challenged person could easily manage with little or no confusion. The TV is new. Yesterday was Day One. If the unit breaks down in a month, I’ll be back to revise this entry. As for now… best $400 I have likely ever spent.

Great TV if it works. Lousy Manufacturer with zero customer support on product malfunctions.
Purchased the 65″ model with the Amazon Delivery and Unpack service. I hired a professional mounter to install on same day as delivery. It worked beautifully … for 3 days. Then suddenly it had no picture when powered on. The backlight and LEDs came on and I heard audio indicators on remote button presses, but nothing but a black screen. The manual was of little help. I googled and performed a few basic troubleshooting steps I could find and finally called Hisense. First I went thru their automated support (“Jennifer”) who (which) was pretty useless. Then I got thru to a live rep who walked me thru a series of tests, (unplug/replug, reset button, remote button press sequence) and in less than 3 minutes, she decided I needed to have a tech person dispatched … “WITHIN THE WEEK” to assess the issue and decide if a replacement or repair was necessary. This would require a certain amount of documentation (receipt, photos of the black screen, etc.) and she walked me thru the process of submitting it all. I provided the model and serial numbers in the email I had to send. I was also told that the unmounting and remounting would be my responsibility since their technicians are not authorized to do that. The following afternoon I received a reply email that in order to assist me, I would have to send them “the” photo of the sticker on back (which had the serial and model numbers that I had already shared) as well as a photo of the “entire” black screen that I had “failed to provide” (because evidently an inch or so was cropped off what I had sent … the bezel basically). I complied and sent the additional pictures within the hour. The rest of the day went by with no contact whatsoever. Their “support” line closes at 9PM so at 8:45 I took it upon myself to call and follow up. I was again informed of the pictures I’d neglected to send and I told the rep to look again, giving the timestamp of my email from earlier. She located it and put me on hold a few minutes. When she returned, she informed me that Hisense had “determined” that the unit had suffered “PHYSICAL DAMAGE” and that they therefore would be unable to provide a technician (or replacement/repair/refund).I explained that the TV had been mounted at a significant height from the floor and I asked how physical damage could possibly occur if nothing at all touched the unit or was even in the vicinity of it between the time when it was mounted and working and when it stopped. She replied “I have no way of knowing that.” I responded “But YET somehow you magically have a way of ‘KNOWING” that it was indisputably physically damaged, based solely on 2 photos of a black screen.” “Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?” she answered. “Anything ELSE? You haven’t helped me. What exactly am I supposed to do now with a brand new, 3-day old non-functioning unit that you refuse to even send out a technician to assess it.” She suggested that I obtain (and pay for) my own technician and went on to suggest that had I purchased an “extended manufacturer’s warranty,” I might have more options. I said “Extended beyond what? Three days? YOU’RE the manufacturer. What is the warranty you DO provide then?” Again she reiterated I would have needed to purchase an extended manufacturer’s warranty. I told her that since my time machine was currently out for repairs, that would be an impossibility.Again she asked “Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?” I’ll refrain from sharing my response. I’ll also refrain from EVER considering making another purchase from this … “company.”

Pleased so far
So, I’ve had this TV for a little over a week. Set up was so easy. Just followed the on screen directions and breezed through. One thing I found that I didn’t see anywhere in the description for the set up was really surprised was the option for the installation of the leg stands. I uploaded two pictures that show the option of the install. You have the option of a narrow foot placement or wide placement. the narrow when measured was 25 1/2″ approx. So if you have a smaller stand you can still have a 65″ TV if you want. I installed the feet at the narrow location until we found the stand we wanted for our room. Seemed very stable too. After we found our stand I moved them to the wider location. so far We like and would highly recommend the TV. I’ll update this if we think we need too.

Great picture for the price
I bought this for my room because I wanted to upgrade my old 32” tv. The TV itself is pretty good in terms of bezels they are hardly noticeable, but one gripe I did have is that the corners particularly the upper ones are dark, as in they don’t match the rest of the picture, I am not sure if it’s a defect or if it’s normal but as you can see in my second photo it can be noticeable. Other than that it works great with minimal set up required. I personally bought a generic mount stand to sit the TV on as the 2 legs it comes with are too far apart that it would not fit on anywhere.
