Suction cup places dot (red, yellow,green) in the center of sights for improving accuracy- & works
My husband has a P-3 and I ordered this item for him. While he doesn’t play shooter games all that often, it’s because he has very poor eyesight (so much so glasses will no longer help). While most people wouldn’t need the hip shot dot in the game he played, he did because of his site. He tells me that people who play first-person shooting games, any kind of game with guns will need it. He explained to me that it helps to improve your accuracy.The dot is attached to a small suction cup. You put it on your screen right in “the center of your sights”. There are three colors the dot can change to- yellow, green, and red. His favorite is the red because it is the easiest to see. But, if you have better sight (like some of those who did a review on Amazon and said the red dot can be distracting) you can change it to green or yellow (which I didn’t see anyone do on those videos).You change the dot color by pressing the button on the USB plug-in for the device. I have included a photo of the USB plug-in when my husband had it in the P-3. I have also included photos of the dot on the screen, while he is playing his game. Also, pictures of the different colors. Yellow, of course, seems to blend in the most with the game.He had no issues with the suction cups on the hip shot dot. I had watched one review where someone kept having them come off but this didn’t happen at all. Both of the dots stayed up for the entire time and did not come down once. Maybe that is because we know you should always make sure a suction cup is moist before sticking it on something, to get the best adherence. All you do is wet your finger (a little), wet the suction cup, and- wallah- no issues with sticking! And the suction cup never moves.A great gaming item, anyone who plays first-person shooting games, he believes, will see the benefit of this item. Especially if you have bad eyesight, as he does. While fairly simple, it helps to train you to look where you need to when shooting- in the center of your sights.

Definitely works, I got a new personal record.

When I first got this device I was a little confused how to use it. I was under the impression the device would show a red dot in the screen through the USB drive. It took me a few minutes to realize that I had to put the suction cups on the screen of the TV which one of the suction cups has the red light. I show you how the red dot looks with the TV off (see video) for better visibility of the red dot. I powered it through a small power bank but you can connect it to your gaming device also.That being said, this definitely improved my gaming score. I play Battlefield 2042 and I got a new personal best record within a couple of weeks of using this hip shot pro device. It makes it very helpful to know where your aim is directed while you are running through the map and you aren’t aiming while running. My preference is to use this red dot with the iron sights instead of a scope in the game. The iron sights give the weapons the fastest handling in my opinion and with the red dot that helps you improve your aim through the iron sights. That’s how I was able to get my new personal record. However, for long distances in the game it is useful to use a scope, in conjunction with the red dot, instead of the iron sights.It’s a great device!

It works for the intended purpose but I have reservations
Namely that modern TV’s often have weak protection of their LCD panel, and while this includes little stickers to help with adhesion, I REALLY don’t like pushing on my large screen TV as hard as is necessary to apply the cup.If you have a particularly sturdy display, or, through some strange warping of time and space, are still using a CRT, this likely doesn’t apply.Once stuck though it works pretty well. The range of colors and brightness levels means you can adjust to your preference and visibility needs, the thing gets INSANELY bright on its highest level, of note, it’s almost painfully so and I definitely don’t recommend using that level, but lower ones are fine.There are some little caveats here and there, like if you’re on a smaller display it might actually hinder visibility to some extent and require a bit of guess work to aim, and while the hanging cable is extremely thin it’s still also extremely visible and can be distracting.I think this is a cool idea for sure, and might be just what you want for some blindfire or hipfire action in your favored game, but at the same time, there are many lower cost and safer alternatives like the tiny corner of a post-in note, dry erase markers, a little bit of one of those sticky hands from the coin operated vender at the laundromat, a bit of a static cling window sticker, or a tiny bit of colored tape to name a few.

It works, was skeptical but it does
I was very skeptical at first but have seen these over the years so figured I would finally try one out. This one is great to offer a fixed dot for any FPS. It is also not very noticeable once attached and pulled tightly to be flat against the TV.It has a few color options and brightness settings depending on what you like. I am very happy with it so far and after a few matches in COD MW2 I saw some pretty good results with a 1.5 to 2.0 K/D compared to the last time I played without it barely achieving a K/D of 1.0.

Way more impressed than I thought I’d be!
I’m normally not a big fan of things that have to go on my screen for whatever reason, and I was skeptical when I saw this gadget. But, once I got it set up, and dialed in, it was hipshots galore! My kill ratio went up fairly quickly in any of the games I played, but it seemed to help a lot in Fortnite. The quickness of not having to look down the scope lets you run and gun, almost guaranteeing a hit. Now, for each game, you have to reset where the Hipshotdot goes, but it really isn’t that hard. The biggest issue is making sure you can keep your screen clean, so make sure to have some water and a microfiber handy. The one thing I didn’t like is that to set this up, you better be ready to play a few hours, because otherwise, it’s not really worth the time. But, when you can sit down and have a session, you’ll have a great time. Are you going to be an e-sports hero? No, but then again, you’ll have more fun playing your games!

Great for hip shots, and fast shots, great for building muscle memory. Works as intended.
You will need a free USB port, or a AC adapter (not included). LED is adjustable as far as brightness and color. At first I thought this was a gimmick, but I quickly found that this does work. It is great for hipshots, and fast shots. I’ve always been terrible with revolvers and hand weapons in general and this dot gives you a serious idea of where your suppose to aim.I’ve heard of people just using clear tape with a permanent marker, but this takes aim at a whole new level.

Surprisingly quite awesome!
I was always interested in trying out one of these aiming light devices. Just to give it the college try and see how it all felt. And very surprisingly, it is actually quite helpful. I used it on a run through of the new Call of Duty and having that light there really did add to some accuracy. Both in hip firing and down the sights.The unit is simple enough. Plug it into a USB for power only. Then stick the dots on the TV right on your aiming cursor and there it stays everywhere you look in game. Simple and quite effective. The only main downfall is that you always have a little cord dangling down the screen the whole time. Cinematically, can take you a bit out of the experience. And you also have to stick this suction cup to the TV. So far it didn’t leave a mark. But who knows in the long run. That part still made me hesitant on putting it up on my main TV.Seems like this is best for all the games that don’t have a constant aiming cursor. And I think TV wise, it seems that having a deicated monitor is the key way to go, and install it somewhat permanently. If all you play is competitive shooting games. Than this is definitely a leg up.

It Works.
While they may advertise this produt primarily for COD, it works great for R6 as well (as that is the main game I play). This may seem wierd, but recoil control is a hell of a lot easier when using this device. This is largely due to the fact that instead of focusing on a shaking retical, there’s just a red dot you need to line up. Quite frankly, this product is better than I EVER anticipated it being.

It’s a suction cup LED you have to stick to your TV
I thought this was laser projected onto the TV. It is not. It is a suction cup that attaches to the TV with an LED on it. I don’t like it, personally. It technically does what it claims and it’s likely my misinterpretation as to what the product does, so I’m not going to ding them for that. I give it 4 stars.

Limited overall use.
I feel like in most games, the standard crosshair is still going to be better. If you play a lot of hardcore CoD or something else that has a no crosshair mode, I could see the benefit of this.I applied this to my screen and tried out both Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite. In both games I personally felt like it was more of a hinderance than a help. The dot lights up which is nice, but the two stick on parts become a distraction, as well as the cable that runs down from the middle of the screen.For me personally I wouldn’t recommend it, unless there’s a specific reason you have in mind for it.

On the fence about this device, tbh
On the one hand, I don’t really need it because I naturally am good with FPS games and don’t really require external assistance when firing from the hip. Honestly its a bit distracting having it up, because no two COD games are the same if I’m being frank. If hipfiring is your thing? Then get this device. It’s cheap enough that its almost negligble.

Exceeded my son’s expectations
I got this for my kids to use while playing their Xbox. Installation seemed to be easy to understand and went pretty smoothly. I’m not sure if my son put all 3 colored suction cups on the tv but I know he used the red one to play. It does exactly what it is supposed to. It does improve accuracy and shooting scores. My kids are using it nonstop now and it seems to be still working like brand new.

Laser like precision in any first-person-shooter!
Simply plug in to any USB port (it doesn’t have to be on the gaming console), select the color of the dot, adjust brightness, start game, aim using your in-game controller, stick suction cup on the screen over the crosshairs.. DONE! It’s that simple! Grandson loves it!

My 15 year old son is a huge COD, Fortnite, Siege, Apex, first person shooter gamer. Got this for him to help improve his shot. Works well with his Xbox series X as well as his PC. USB plug fits easily. I would definitely recommend your gamer. Great stocking stuffer!!!
