What Everyone Says Is True!
I want to start by saying I’ve had TERRIBLE dandruff but never treated it in the past. I was researching what would be the best products to help me because it was getting severe, I’ve seen so many videos online of people who have used this product to massage their scalp along with the Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and wanted to give them a try. When I say these two products changed my life with my hair I really mean it. I wish I had taken before and after videos of how bad it was, to put it into words I could hang my head down in front of me and rush my hands through my hair with a shaking motion and see “snow” flakes falling down but after using this scalp massager with the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo consistently for 8 weeks as directed I can say I am FULLY Dandruff free, Completely. It blew my mind when I noticed one day that I no longer had that problem and my scalp/hair is feeling amazing! I will be writing a review for the Shampoo as well because it will help you too if this is the problem you’re trying to fix.

Magical Sensation for Scalp
This was recommended by my hairstylist when asked what I could use to help pronate healthy scalp and hair growth. The silicone points are soft and at the same time they are firm enough to put pressure on the scalp. Easy to clean.

Though it’s super easy to hold, the bristles aren’t that soft
I’m not sure if this has helped with blood circulation for my scalp resulting in hair growth or if it has pulled out more hair due to the bristles. It does feel nice to use this scalp massager when I shampoo. I brush slowly back and forth across my scalp rather than in circles because I found it pulls on my hair more if I go in a circular motion.Compared to some of the motorized scalp massagers which are $80-$120, this one will do!

Must have hair product for thinning hair
About me: baby fine shoulder length hair, pushing 40, about 10-20 % gray, thinning hair due to aging, hair shedding from stress, stress-induced hair pulling, prone to develop excessive tangles due to end sections of hair being torn (pulling)This product is a must have in my routine, my hair over the past 5 years or so has gone from fabulous to truly awful mainly due to stress/aging. I have lost about 2/3 to 3/4 of my hair over this time period. With this product and some other changes I can actually wear my hair half up half down in the way I like on the day in between washes. Until recently I was only able to wear it up in pins *every single day* because it was too thin and sad to wear down by itself. Before that if I wore it “down” it would be off to the side to give illusion of volume. This product alone means I can wear it How I like (pinned with single Bobby pin half up half down) every single day, if I keep up my new routine. I might might might one day be able to wear it all the way down but this is a step forward. My routine if you’re interested,Wash hair every other day with a shampoo & conditioner formulated for thin hair(Every 2 weeks I wash with a clarifying shampoo and deep conditioner)Wrap hair in gentle hair towel for 20-30 minutesSmooth heat protectant balm (or spray) onto hairBlow dry on regular heat settingBrush with *natural boar bristle only* brush to smooth, you should not feel any tugging at your roots, I bought my brush on amazon it is less than 20 and has a wooden handle/base with black bristlesI like straight hair and I have wavy so I use a straightener where I can read the temperature and turn it to 280 degrees, if you’re super super fragile turn it even lowerUse this scalp massager in circular motions on scalp for 5-10 seconds, lift up out of hair so as not to create tangles, navigate to nearby section, repeat, to massage my whole head I move to about 15-20 Circle sections it sounds like a lot but you’ll get used to it and enjoy it and like the resultsI flip hair upside down and spray with a super freeze hair spray, i don’t think I can mention other products here by name but it is in a yellow canister and a lot of people like it for their wigsI fluff it a bit and pin it half up half down in the style I like…Morning and night I use this scalp massager! Every day! This thing does the grunt work of a teasing brush/comb or the thickening powders you can buy for twenty dollars!…On the days I don’t wash my hair I use scalp massager firstspray hair with dry shampoofluff it up a bitand then hairsprayI know the stress is bad I can’t always fix it, I know the hair pulling is awful I have now stopped, I’m looking into trying a pregnancy multivitamin since I’ve heard that can help, I just bought some castor oil so I’m going to try that too.Anyway buy this darn thing, at the very least it will feel good, and at best it will get you on track to the hair you want to have. Love it, no regrets. Men could use this too! Also want to add I tried it in the shower, I didn’t love the shower experience with this product so I only use it in the shower when I’m washing my hair with the clarifying shampoo to get at the roots. Using it on dry hair, for me, is much more soothing and I like the volume it creates. If you have short hair, or are less fussy, it probably won’t matter either way.

Perfect bristles
I can’t live without a shampoo brush/scalp brush anymore. I discovered the product at a Marshalls store and it was glorious until the bristles were small nubs and it was time to replace it. I bought my second one at the same store but was disappointed with how soft the silicone was. It didn’t feel like my scalp was getting cleaned so I searched Amazon and based on reviews, I tried this brand. It’s my second time ordering the set and I will forever keep buying this specific brand as long as I live. The silicone bristles are firm but not hurtful. I have thick curly hair and the bristles are strong and long enough to reach my scalp. I definitely recommend this!

Silicone prongs a little too stiff
I was hoping to get into scalp care and tried out this scalp massager. So far have used for both scalp oiling and shampooing on separate occasions, and although it did work well to distribute product to the scalp I did feel that the silicone prongs are little too sharp/hard. I was hoping for something softer to be delicate to the follicles but overall it’s a decent product. I feel that my hair is lasting longer between washes because it gets very clean during the wash

Good for price
It is a good product for the price, I find that the ergonomics are definitely more geared towards a woman’s hand, I find it to be a little small but that’s not that big of an issue. This does come in two separate pieces so you have to be sure to take it apart and clean it once in a while.I find that the tips of the brush aren’t so soft either and are a little hard. I am not sure if I am in love with the product, perhaps if it was one piece to prevent water buildup/mold and softer ends brush it would be better.

Gets the soap where it needs to be.
I love how this feels on my scalp. It feels really good and if my scalp feels itchy, this really gets the scratching effect without it scratching your scalp raw. I have very thick hair and it gets the soap where it needs to be. I’ve noticed that I have less hair falling out in the shower when I use it. It’s light weight as well so it’s not an effort to use it. I also use this to apply conditioner and my hair has a little bit more volume after use.

why have I been washing my hair like a povo.
This scrubber. I bought it for my husband’s beard and head and it has eliminated all of his flakes….which makes me wonder about his bathing habits but that’s a discussion for another time. It’s small, it allows for a very small amount of shampoo or soap to be used as it lathers incredibly well. Get one for your husband and watch those flakes disappear, you’re welcome.

Awesome Scalp Brush
I suffer from dandruff and have usually managed it by using good anti-dandruff shampoo until I saw some helpful tips online mentioning how a scalp brush helps too. I have been using this for about a year since 2022 and I really like using it. I like how this distributes the shampoo evenly and helps it work better.

Helps get rid of buildup and dead skin
The HEETA Hair Scalp Massager is a versatile tool that offers numerous benefits for individuals dealing with scalp conditions, including those related to ADHD such as skin picking. My husband and I both pick and hurt our skin but this massager makes those sore spots feel better and remove that buildup in the shower. TMI I know but maybe it’ll help others! With its soft silicone bristles and scalp-stimulating design, this scalp scrubber provides a satisfying and therapeutic experience. For individuals with ADHD who engage in scalp picking or other repetitive behaviors, the HEETA Hair Scalp Massager can be an invaluable tool. The gentle yet invigorating massage sensation provided by the soft silicone bristles helps redirect the focus and provides a sensory experience that can reduce the urge to pick at the scalp. It offers a soothing and calming effect, aiding in relaxation and promoting healthier scalp habits. In addition to its benefits for individuals with ADHD, this scalp scrubber is also highly effective in removing product buildup and addressing skin conditions that lead to buildup. The soft silicone bristles gently exfoliate the scalp, helping to remove excess oils, dead skin cells, and product residue. This promotes a healthier scalp environment, which can contribute to improved hair growth and reduced dandruff. My husband doesnt flake near as bad on his sideburn/temples.The HEETA Hair Scalp Massager is easy to use and fits comfortably in the hand. For my husband, its ergonomic design allows for a firm grip, making it convenient to maneuver and control during use. But for me and my small hand it can be hard to keep a grip on it through my long hair. The scalp scrubber is suitable for all hair types and can be used with both wet and dry hair. It can be incorporated into your regular hair care routine, whether it’s during shampooing or for a soothing scalp massage between washes. I use it for my psoriasis shampoo to really get in my skin.

Great exfoliation and feels amazing
I’ve always had a problem with dry scalp that causes me to have flakes and itchiness if I don’t exfoliate and rinse my shampoo and conditioner thoroughly enough (I find that I get the best results by using T-sal Neutrogena shampoo, alternated with Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Soothe & Calm shampoo, combined with Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Smooth & Calm conditioner with tea tree oil). For some reason I had never thought about getting a scalp exfoliator/massager, but I recently decided to buy one and chose this one based on the good reviews and Amazon’s top recommendation. I have not been disappointed! It’s a nice looking product with a convenient loop for hanging on one of my suction hooks. Its easy to hold with the handle and I never find my hand slipping loose. It runs through my hair easily and doesn’t creat tangles, although I do have a pixie cut that would be too short to tangle anyway so I don’t know how it would work with long hair. It’s just the right level of firmness. Not so hard that I feel like I’m scratching up my scalp, but not so soft that it doesn’t feel like it’s actually loosening any dead skin. I can tell it’s really giving my scalp a good amount of exfoliation – much better than just using my fingernails. If I rinse very well after scrubbing, I find that I have little to no flakes and very little itchiness, which is an amazing new experience for me! I’ve always been self-conscious about making sure no flakes are showing in my hair (even though they’re there if you really part my hair and look at the scalp level). And it has always driven me crazy having so much itchiness when I’m trying to sleep and then I scratch my head and up getting flakes all over my black pillowcases (yuck!). Now I don’t have to deal with all of that anymore. It’s such a relief! Last but not least, it feels amazing to use! As soon as I start scrubbing (circular motions feel the best), it gives me shivers and feels like I’m getting a professional scalp massage! I absolutely love it and look forward to using it. I have a shower seat so that I can sit down while shaving my legs, so I’m able to just sit there and scrub my scalp for a long time and just relax and enjoy it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and I’m so glad I purchased it!!!

Overall amazing product
I’ve had this scalp massager for about a month and a half. It’s one of my favorite things. The bristles feel great on the scalp and it’s perfect for exfoliating. I have seborrheic dermatitis so this has been helpful in keeping my scalp debris free. The handle with the strap makes it easy to hold with a soapy or dry hand.About two weeks after usage the scrubber part fell out and does so occasionally while hanging by itself. Due to its design it can be easily popped back in and is still 100% useable. I still use it daily. Durability landed it 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5.

Nice scalp massage
I love using this on my scalp as I’m shampooing my hair. Provides a gentle massage and isnt aggressively scratching me. Gets the job done right. Just be careful it can tangle your hair a bit. Just for context I have fine straight hair and I’ve gotten my hair tangled a bit.

Better than your hands
I love using this scalp massager to shampoo my hair. I think I was getting lazy just washing my hair with my hands and I bought one of these thinking this would be great for my scalp. I get dandruff occasionally and I thought this would help me gently scrub my scalp and fix this issue. It definitely helps me get my hair cleaner, feels really good for self care and makes my shampoo more effective. The only downside about this hair scrubber is that I dropped it in the tub today and the handle broke.

Made a Difference! Worth It!
Okay, this review is going to be a little gross, but I feel like there must be people out there with this same problem, so I’m going to set my embarrassment aside and put it all out there, so here we go…First of all, I have very fine hair and a VERY oily scalp (thanks Dad! Haha!). I’ve tried a lot of things to keep my scalp clean for more than a few hours, but nothing has ever worked. From the time I hit puberty until now (several decades later) my hair has looked greasy by 11am every day. Dry shampoo is something I can’t live without! It was a constant frustration for me, because I’m a clean freak (in my house and with myself) and it made me feel gross! I’ve tried gentle shampoos with no sulfates, I’ve tried clarifying shampoos, I’ve tried countless high end shampoos, I’ve tried the cheap stuff, I tried cleansing conditioners, I tried only conditioning the ends, blah, blah, blah. I even tried the no shampoo challenge thing…which did NOT work for me, and I really gave it the full attempt. Oily scalp remains…oily. But the real kick in the pants is that the oily scalp led to (here it comes)…SCALP ACNE! Ugh. I rarely get pimples on my face, even as a teenager I just didn’t have acne, but in the past few years my scalp had become a constant minefield. Luckily nobody knew they were there but me, but still! SO GROSS! On top of that my scalp would get itchy, irritated scaly patches from the buildup of skin and oil. I read about scalp brushes/massagers online and was really skeptical, because I already scrubbed my scalp REALLY well with my fingertips every night when I washed my hair, but the price was so reasonable I decided to give it a go. Consider me converted! IT WORKS! I started using the scalp brush, plus once a week I use it in conjunction with an apple cider vinegar rinse and between the two my scalp is COMPLETELY different! So much cleaner AND it feels SOOO much better. Don’t get me wrong, it still gets oily again by the end of the day, but I almost never have itchiness, scaliness or pimples on my scalp anymore. I was so convinced that scrubbing with my fingertips was just as good, but it’s definitely different. The rubbery silicone tips are stiff enough to really get in there and scrub but have enough resistance not to hurt. It feels FANTASTIC! I soap up my hair with shampoo (once a week add a little apple cider vinegar) and then scrub in side to side, front to back and then circular motions in order to get every inch of my scalp clean. It feels invigorating and stimulates blood flow, which is an added bonus to getting your scalp clean, because it’s beneficial to your scalp and thus your hair. I was worried that using a scalp massager like this would break or pull out my hair and that has not been a problem at ALL! I’ve never once even snagged a single hair with it. The bristles are spaced far enough apart to make that a nonissue. Also of note: I feel like having it in the shower reminds me to take some time scrubbing/massaging my scalp on days when otherwise I might have just washed quickly and hopped back out. That’s an added benefit that I didn’t expect! I don’t love the handle…it’s fine, but I sometimes have a hard time holding onto it, it’s flown out of my hand a few times…a hand/strap that went across the top, like the kind on some body brushes would work well for me, but that’s a minor issue and probably just personal preference. Love the color but I wish the logo wasn’t on the top, I feel like it’s kind of tacky, but it’s somewhat subtle and I’m picky about that sort of thing. A nice bonus is that there is a small hole in the handle and you can add a string and loop that to create a way to hang it in the shower. That’s a small detail that I really appreciated. TIPS: 1. Apply your shampoo and distribute it evenly BEFORE you start scrubbing. 2. If you’re getting this for a cleaner scalp or scalp health, try adding an apple cider vinegar rinse once a week…it really ups the game. BOTTOM LINE: If you’re having issues with your scalp TRY IT! It’s reasonably priced and easy to use!

I recently buzzed my head because my hair and scalp were damaged after years of bleaching my hair. I use this to help with dandruff and it feels amazing! It’s easy to hold, doesn’t slip my grasp, and is easy to rinse off. There’s no cons to this product. I use it every time I shower!
